The game was going great, it was clear that Neal was a natural out there on the field. If he really wanted he could become the next great quarterback and David and Snow would do the best they could to make that happen for him if thats what he wanted. The game continued until he took a vicious hit that earned a flag, in that moment both Snow and David held their breath waiting to see if Neal was ok. Football was a tough sport and people often got hurt bad, it was understood, but until it hits home its almost unreal.

It was very sweet to Snow to see Emma so supportive of her brother, this was what she wanted for her family. To be so together and supportive, though this isnt what she imagined, but somehow its even better than what she thought. "Thanks, sometimes its nice to have those cursed memories still rattling around up here." David said eluding that he used his cursed persona's memories to teach Neal.

Its been ten years since Emma got turned into a three year old now Emma is thirteen and her brother Neal is fourteen. Emma second shot at a childhood was much better then the first time around. Sure instead of being the big sister she became the little sister and it was hard adjusting to it, but as time went one  Emma quickly found herself in the role of the baby and she enjoyed a lot. As she grew older the Emma Swan was coming back with a mix of the new Emma. This Emma was far more girly then her other side for example she loved the color pink she liked wearing dresses and skirts on her free day and above all she loved going shopping with her mom and baking cookies with Snow and Regina . Now the old Emma was still in there if anyone gave her trouble she would beat the poor sap up and a lot of that got her in to trouble with her mom since the school called often due to Emma’s violent nature but her relationship with her brother was better they were almost inseparable and they loved each other dearly Emma never grow out of calling her parents mommy and daddy no matter what age she was she always called them that. 

Every Friday after school she would go down the Station to deliver some of her  homemade cookies to her dad. “Mommy am going to take the cookies to daddy now I’ll see ya later,” Emma kissed her mom goodbye and rode on her pink bike down to the sheriff station. As Emma left Neal came home late from school today and he was very happy “MOM guess what I made the team I am the new kicker for the schools football team.” Neal shouted excitedly as he came home from practice and the reveal that he had made the team. Neal had just started high-school he is a freshman in other words in the 9th grade while Emma was finishing middle-school she was in the 8th grade.

“Is daddy here uncle Thomas,” she asked the man that became her father’s deputy, Thomas pointed to her fathers location and she went in until she found her   “Hi daddy how is it going, look I got your Friday cookies homemade by your favorite little princess,”  Emma stated as she went to her father’s location giving him the cookies. “So daddy guess what happened to me at school.” Emma started to chat to her father.

Rumple: Right off the bat I think this could be controversial, but Villain/Jester feels so much more true to his character than if I’d tried to stick Magician somewhere in there. He’s SILLY

Regina: Unfortunately there’s no Horse Girl type so we’re going basic for her. I actually changed my mind from when I posted (the crusty versions of) these on bluesky, I think Witch/Queen fits her vibe more than Villain/Queen.

Belle: Just Hero/Princess does her such a disservice imo but I couldn’t just leave her out ☹️ if there was like a “Scholar” type or smth she’d be Hero/Scholar

Snow: Self explanatory but I just want to say that I stan her bad S1 Enchanted Forest wig 🤍

Red: Also self explanatory and I FORGOT HOW MUCH I LIKED HER WHERE TF WAS SHE IN LATER SEASONS

Emma: I debated a lot over this one but I think Hero/Divine fits best with how both the characters and the narrative treat her. Still feels a little weird to me but I’m sure she also feels weird going from “bail bondswoman Emma Swan” to “🕊️✨The Savior✨🕊️”

I'm having so much fun revising and refining my Kingdom Hearts/Once Upon a Time crossover. There's been a lot of ideas popping in and out of my head.

Emma constantly being confused by Heartless, Nobodies, Keyblades and all of it but just going with the flow of it. Eventually, it all gets explained to her by Riku while the group is heading to Neverland.

Lea gets his Keyblade during the Neverland arc, so when the gang returns it surprises the shit out of them. Fast forward to the Snow Queen arc when he's throwing said Keyblade at Elsa's ice wall because he's too frustrated since his flames won't melt it.

Werewolf!Isa/Saïx. That's where the scar comes from in this AU.

The thought of Cursed!Lea and Isa being dog dads to another famous pair of Disney dogs is also playing in my head.

Snow losing her status as Princess of Heart because of what happened to Cora. Unknown to them, she had passed on the Light long ago when Emma was born.

So the Dark Swan arc leads to some issues. Being the Dark One conflicts with the Light inside of Emma's pure heart. It makes her physically and mentally ill to the point that it might kill her. After finding this out, Hook decides to take on that burden from her to save her.

Princesses of Heart being able to sense Darkness. That said, they have trouble being around the Dark One because of the amount of darkness said person with the title holds. One on instance, Kairi gets physically sick. Belle seems to be an exception, but in reality she just got acclimated to it so it doesn't bother her anymore.

Once the Curse breaks, the Keyblade Wielders find themselves struggling to summon their Keyblades again. By the end of Season 2, Sora, Riku and Roxas are able to summon their Keyblades again.

The Destiny Trio each have two hands ;)

Roxas's cursed counterpart is another one of Regina's sons, leading him to be fiercely protective of Henry. (Curse or not, he still sees him as family).

The family tree of Radiant Garden's royal family is something since Kairi is its princess in this AU. Not only does that make Ansem the Wise her father (a pretty crappy one tbh), but she also gets two older brothers. Two brothers that abandoned her for ten-ish years and so much worse stuff, but at least one came back before the Curse was cast. (Ienzo. It was Ienzo--)

Dear Journal,

He did it again. Another mission that was cleared yet Kisho had another idea that involves using fireworks again. I swear it's like his ideas just keep getting more and more destructive now a days. Not that I'll admit they are pretty cool-I mean no!

When he first arrived I figure things will be just fine. Given we don't get a lot of people able to see curse spirits like me, Yuji, and nobara. It's insane thinking what that Chunibyo's ideas will become next!!!! Even from the recent ones that I will never speak of again or me trying not to strangle him. Ughhhh......

((Sighs but pinches his nose))

However, I do admit most of them are pretty effective. They take down the target and get things done. I just wish it was not in a destructive way. However, he's also getting better and stronger with training. I could be wrong from what I'm not seeing but the others think he's getting a lot better. Even with the explosions and small slip ups. Their are times he does slip up but the plan works with no issue. Though, I do tend to get a bit over the top mad when it comes to punishing him with the rabbits. I think he's scared of them now???

Well, I did tell him things being punished like with Yuji and Nobara have to be served and he gets it. I hope. But if not, I'm hoping the rest of the missions we go on will get better and he'll learn to be careful.....

But something tells me he won't. -_-

I never cared for Snow White, but despite that, I always admired this vintage Snow White planter my grandma had, which she kept in a tall display cabinet. She remembered I liked it and gifted it to me when I got engaged.

Recently, my husband and I walked through an antique store, and I saw a Cinderella planter that was clearly from the same company. The tag said it was from the 50s. I bought it because it reminded me of my gran, and I figured one day I'll want things around that remind me of her. They aren't my style, yet I really love them, somehow more so now that they're a set. I like that they appear to be looking at each other.

I think I'm going to put succulents in them.

The rain washes the snow from the pavements. Stark contrast of softness locked onto the grass to the hard, practical, asphalt. This storm has fallen into the same rut as the surrounding people with grey and cloudy faces. A world of black and white hiding tones of gold and green if you look closely; white cocooning the pigments and hues, a promise to reveal more in time. Softer to fall in, easier to walk through, depictions of blanket and down. The road cleared it all, permanently. Flashes of mysterious vibrancy cast upon, slickened, bone-breaking, blankness; distorted reflective shimmer upon unfeeling stepping stone. Follow the steps in the grass.

Like - Snow White storytime with Bandit, okay?

Okay.

Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was my mom's favorite movie. At least, as far as I know - she was collecting Snow White memorabilia for as long as I remember. Probably before I was born. We call my grandpa on her side Grumpy (and for a little while when I was a kid I called her Snow White, too), and we have proceeded to buy him a lot of Grumpy merch (to the point that I still have some she bought him before she died that we haven't mailed off and we didn't know where it was to take it to him the two times we've seen him since).

In one of our previous houses, we had an entire room dedicated to Snow White memorabilia. There is so much of it, y'all. So much. Like in November we would have to tell Mom to not buy anything so that Dad and I could buy her Christmas presents because she would buy it pretty much immediately as soon as she saw it.

My mom loved Snow White.

And she was so excited for this movie.

(To the point that, like - given timing, I guess I had this conversation with Dad and not with Mom because Mom was dead seven months ago when the teaser dropped, but I very clearly remember the trailer dropping and it having something like the most thumbs down on a trailer release in history or something like that and telling her that was because Gal Gadot was in it and -gestures to political all the things- - but I could not have had that conversation with her over the trailer because the trailer dropped seven months ago and Mom has been dead for two years, so like. I remember having that conversation with her, so maybe it wasn't over the trailer. And I remember having the thumbs down conversation but it must not have been with her. I don't know.)

Point is Mom loved Snow White and was Very Excited for this movie.

I was kind of not interested, and Dad still isn't, because like. It's a Disney remake and Disney remakes are okay at best and usually they're just. literally that. Not exactly shot by shot remakes, but close to it, you know? So what's the point.

BUT.

I was gonna go see it opening weekend for Mom. (Because if Mom were still here, we would have seen it opening weekend. Probably in a big theater with as many people as possible because big crowd and crowd reactions are part of the movie going experience. And Mom had the rewards system that gave her two free tickets a month. We would have gone, is the thing.)

I asked people to go see it with me for her because Mom's love of Snow White was well known.

But otherwise, I probably would not have given this movie much attention at all.

And I'm glad I did.

And like - they started talking about bandits and a bandit captain and you have to know I gave God a little I see what You did there because like I know it's not about me, but He gave me that. He put me in my mom's movie. That's there for me.

- Kuzco: The self-absorbed emperor-turned-llama and Disciple of the Groove.

- Hades: The fiery ruler of the Underworld and Lord of the Dead.

- Snow White: The fairest of them all, with a kind heart and Stalwart Friend of the Forest

- The Muses: A sassy, harmonizing group of goddesses who narrate epic stories.

- Theme Song Guy: A mysterious character who pops up randomly to sing catchy tunes.

The Forest Mine Musical Meeting:

*Kuzco struts into the clearing, his golden wrist cuffs gleaming in the sunlight.*

*Snow White approaches, humming a sweet tune.*

Kuzco: (to the audience) Listen up, everybody! The one and only Kuzco here to grace you with my presence. And who's that lovely lady over there? Snow White? Yeah, she's all about apples, seven little dudes, and singing with birds. But me? Kuzco. The ultimate groove master. Well, guess what? I've got eyes for her. Yeah, the one with the raven-black hair and the whole 'fairest of them all' gig.

*Hades materializes in a swirl of smoke, his signature blue hair dancing like flames, his eyes glowing yellow, and his skin has an ashen hue, reminiscent of smoldering embers.*

Snow White: Gentlemen, what brings you to my forest?

Hades: Hold it right there, Kuzco! Snowie is mine. Okay? I've got underworld connections, you know. Plus, I've got gravitas, a chiseled jawline, a killer sense of humor and I'm deceivingly smart. What have you got, huh? A llama transformation? I mean, come on!

Kuzco: Oh, please! I've got style, charm, silky hair you can actually run your fingers through without worry of getting burned, smooth moves, and... (smiles smugly and folds his arms) Theme Song Guy!

*Theme Song Guy pops up from behind a tree.*

Theme Song Guy: It's time for a musical interlude! (singing) 🎵 Love is in the air, but who will win her heart? Kuzco's got the groove, and Hades plays it smart! 🎵

Hades: (raises an eyebrow, pouts his lips, and snaps his fingers) Ladies?

*Five vivacious women appear from thin air.*

The Muses: (singing) 🎵 Snow White, Snow White, the fairest in sight, caught between two egos, oh, what a plight! 🎵

Snow White gazes on the goddesses with an enchanted look.*

*Kuzco and Theme Song Guy stare at them in disbelief.*

*Hades looks over his shoulder and shoots Kuzco a smug smirk with a victorious air about him.*

Kuzco: (head snaps down in Theme Song Guy's direction) DO SOMETHING, THEME SONG GUY, WE'RE LOSING HER!! (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

Theme Song Guy: What do you want me to do? I may be a robust baritone with a dramatic tenor of Tom Jones, but I can't compete with hot goddesses!

Kuzco: ಥ_ಥ

The Battle of Wits and Gifts:

*Hades conjures a bouquet of black roses.*

Hades: Snowie, babe, these roses are as dark as my soul. They're practically immortal. Eternal love, anyone?

*Snow White hesitates.*

Kuzco: Hold up! Check out my gift! *He pulls out a golden llama figurine.* It's...uh, symbolic. Like, 'I'll be your llama forever' or something.

*The Muses roll their eyes.*

The Muses (Thalia): Kuzco, honey, stick to the groove. And Hades, stop being so dramatic!

The Grand Finale:

*Snow White stands between them, torn.*

Snow White: Gentlemen, I appreciate your efforts, but—

*Theme Song Guy interrupts.*

Theme Song Guy: (singing) 🎵 Who will claim her heart, the llama or the flame? love’s a wild target, in this romantic game! 🎵

*Snow White giggles.*

Snow White: You both make me laugh. But love isn't about gifts or grand gestures. It's about kindness, understanding, and—

*The Muses join in.*

The Muses: (singing) 🎵 In Olympus’ halls, where gods entwine, a catchy tune, forever divine. Love shall croon, its celestial refrain, echoing through realms, an emperor’s reign. 🎵

*Snow White smiles.*

Snow White: Maybe we can all be friends?

*Hades and Kuzco exchange glances.*

Hades: Deal. But if only Snowie's hugs are reserved exclusively for me. After all, I am the Lord of the Underworld—her hugs bring a touch of light to my eternal darkness.

Kuzco: Excuse me?! Snow White's hugs are a part of my daily ego boost! My royal body needs her warmth!

Snow White: (Her voice emanates disappointment and gives them a pleading look) Guys, please! ＞﹏＜

*And the forest echoes with their bickering.*

End.

Some notes in case of confusion. In the beginning, Kuzco breaks the fourth wall and talks to the audience like he did throughout his film.

I spent thirteen days writing this, so I hope you guys enjoyed it! I hope I kept everyone in character. I just want to make it clear that I am no song writer, and I solely relied on my rhyming dictionary for those song parts, lol. So, if there are parts that you find cringeworthy or cracky, I apologize because I was trying to make it as funny as possible.
