Is there a reason they made a lawyer for that muppets now show?

I would guess for legal disclaimers and similar jokes? I liked them having a non-sinister lawyer character honestly. I could see most of the lawyers I interned with making those jokes.

You're so right though, his game show was the only Muppets Now segment that consistently understood the assignment. And he was a natural at it! I feel like being a game show host is something he's always wanted to do:

So he finally got to live one of his dreams 🥲👏

(Though I did also like some of the celebrity interviews, especially Seth Rogen with Fozzie and the babies, and the Muppet Masters segments. And I'll always have a soft spot for the segment where Beaker gets replaced by BEAK-R, especially since I wrote a fic about it. But Pepe in his little suit with his chaotic made-up rules deserves the praise!)
