Hey loves! Hope you enjoy this sweet little one-shot idea I had! Also, I won't be using Y/n in this.

Description: The reader tries to come up with nicknames for Oscar.

Warnings: None! All fluff.

It had started as a simple request.

"Come on, Oscar, let’s go for a walk," she had said, leaning against the doorway of his hotel room with that mischievous glint in her eye. He had considered refusing, claiming he was too tired or that he had better things to do, but who was he kidding? He always gave in eventually.

So, with a sigh and a barely concealed smirk, he grabbed his hoodie and followed her out.

As they made their way down the hall, she suddenly glanced back over her shoulder, a teasing smile tugging at her lips. "C’mon, Oscar Pastry."

There was a brief silence before a laugh escaped him, shaking his head. "Hey! That’s not my name!"

She grinned, unfazed. "It is now. Unless you want me to call you Oscar the Grouch instead…"

Oscar rolled his eyes, falling into step beside her. "Why don’t you just call me by my real name? You know, the one that doesn’t make me sound like a pastry or a trash can monster?"

She hummed, stepping up to the elevator and pressing the button. "Hmmm… I’ll think about it."

Oscar scoffed, crossing his arms. "You will, huh?"

She shot him a playful look, tapping her foot against the floor as she waited for the elevator to arrive. "Mhm. Might take me a while, though. You’re kinda starting to look like a croissant to me."

"Oh my Gosh." He groaned dramatically, but the small smile tugging at his lips gave him away. "You’re impossible."

The elevator doors slid open, and she stepped inside, leaning against the wall as Oscar followed. "And yet, here you are, voluntarily spending time with me."

He sighed, shaking his head with a mock exasperation that didn’t quite reach his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Against my better judgment."

She grinned, nudging his shoulder with hers. "C’mon, Oscar Pastry. Let’s go."

And despite his protests, despite the ridiculous nickname, Oscar Piastri wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else.
