শুভ চতুর্থ মাস, আমার ছোট্ট সোনা!

হ্যাঁ, আজ তোর চার মাস বয়স! ওহ! কেমন করে যে সময় উড়ে গেছে, আমার ছোট্ট বাচ্চা! আমি প্রতিদিন প্রান ভরে তোকে দেখি আর অবাক হ‌য়ে ভাবি কিভাবে তুই নতুন নতুন দক্ষতা শিখছিস আর বারবার আরও বেশি কিছু করার চেষ্টা করছিস। তোর শরীর আর মনের পরিবর্তন ও বিকাশের অগ্রগতি আমি চোখ ভরে দেখি। এবং দুর্দান্ত অংশটি কি জানতে চাস? আমি তোকে তৈরি করেছি। (ঠিক আছে, বাবাও কিছুটা সাহায্য করেছেন, তাই তাকেও ভুলে যাওয়া যাবেনা!) তবে তুই অবশ্যই তোর মায়ের ছোট্ট ছেলে 😘

তোকে দাঁড়া করালে খুব খুশি হোস, ভালবাসিস। আসলে এটি বেশিরভাগ সময় তোর কান্নাটাই থামিয়ে দেয় ... কেবল সবকিছুর দিকে নজর দিতে চাস। গত এক‌ কি দুসপ্তাহ থেকে কীভাবে থুথু দিয়ে বুদবুদ তৈরি করতে হয় তা শিখে গেছিস আর তোর কাপড় এবং সারা মুখ ভিজিয়ে রাখা উপভোগ করছিস। মা আর বাবা তোর মিষ্টি শব্দগুলি নকল করতে পছন্দ করি, যেন আমরা ‌তোর সাথে তোর ভাষায়‌ই কথা বলছি।

তুই সত্যিই অনেক টা খিলখিল করে হাসা  শুরু করেছিস এবং এটি বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে সুন্দর শব্দ। আমি‌ সারাজীবন তা শুনতে পারব, এটি হৃদয়গ্রাহী এবং আরাধ্য। টুকটুক করে তোর ছোট্ট হাত দিয়ে সবকিছু ধরতে শিখছিস। আর হাত খাওয়ার কথা নাই বা বললাম। দুই হাতকে একসাথে আঁকড়ে ধরে তোর মুখের দিকে টানতে পারিস অবিশ্বাস্য রকমের দ্রুত গতিতে। সোফা কিংবা বালিশের গায়ে হেলান দিয়ে অনেক টা বসতেও শিখে গেছিস। আর তুই এখনও বড় বিছানায় মায়ের কোল ঘেঁষে ঘুমোতে পছন্দ করিস আর আমরা তোর সাথে সময় কাটাতে ভালবাসি। আমি নিশ্চিত নই যে কেন‌ আমরা তোর জন্য আমাদের বিছানার সাথে লাগানো ছোট্ট বিছানাটি কিনেছিলাম?

আর তোর মা আর বাবা? আমাদের বাসাটি একটি বিপর্যয় আর আমরা খুব কমই ঘুমোতে পারি, কিন্তু জেনে রাখিস তুই আমাদের জীবনে ঘটে যাওয়া সব থেকে ভালো কিছু। আর এইমাত্র তুই ঘুম থেকে কাঁদতে কাঁদতে জেগে গেলি। আর এখন আমার পাশে দোল চেয়ারে বসে দোল খেতে খেতে খেলছিস। বাবা  আর আমি তোর মতো এত লক্ষি ছেলে পেয়ে খুব ভাগ্যবান। তোকে আমরা অনেক ভালবাসি।

বিশেষ দ্রষ্টব্য - তুই ভাগ্যবান যে আমি তোকে এক ঘন্টা সময় নিয়ে ঘুম পাড়ানোর আগেই পুরো চিঠিটি লিখে শেষ করেছিলাম। আর দরজা দিয়ে বেরিয়ে যাবার সাথে সাথে তুই কেঁদে উঠলি। এভাবেই লক্ষ্যিমন্তর হয়ে মাকে সারাজীবন জালাস, কেমন?

Happy 4 months, Little boy!

Yes, 4 months old today! Oh how time flies, my little baby. I see the changes in you everyday as you learn new skills and attempt more things... it’s incredible, to see your mind at work and your development progress. And you want to know the coolest part? I made you (Okay, daddy helped a little, so let’s not forget about him too!) But you’re definitely my little mummy's boy 😘

You love when I stand you up. In fact it stops your crying most of the time… you just like to look out at the world. In the past week or two you’ve learned how to make spit bubbles and you thoroughly enjoy soaking your clothes and covering your face in wetness. Mummy and daddy like to mimic your cute sounds, it’s like we’re talking to you!

You’ve also started to really giggle and it is the cutest sound in the world. I could listen to you do that forever, it’s heartwarming and adorable. You’re still sleeping with mummy and daddy in the big bed and we love cuddle time with you. I’m not even sure why we bought a crib at this point!

You’re incredible at grabbing objects now, bringing both hands together to grasp and pull toward your face.

And your mummy and daddy? The house is a disaster and we’re short on sleep, but you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to us… in case you didn’t already know. And you just woke up crying from your nap, now you’re playing next to me on your bouncer. You really are a happy little boy, your daddy and I are super lucky.

Love you to the moon and back million times 😘 Mummy and daddy.

PS – You’re lucky I wrote this whole letter before I just spent one hour getting you to sleep and then you woke up crying as soon as I walked out the door. Stay blessed my happy little boy ❤️

I’m thinking about starting a TTC vlog, would anyone watch it? My accent is super cute lol It’d also be about motherhood, but so many of the mummy vloggers out there have these big beautiful prictine houses where they bake their bread from scratch from wheat they grew in the back yard, they knit all the kids clothing while also attending multiple play groups etc and for me that’s just not realistic. My videos will be like “What I feed my toddler: Weetbix, tiny teddies, several slices of processed cheese, mashed potatoes” haha

I didn’t vlog, or even blog really, my ttc journey or pregnancy with Melon and I really want to do it with the next fruit salad addition.
