So I don't know if you've seen spy kids 3, but basically there's a scene where the mum has to go on a mission with her baby because she has no baby sitter and she just carries her in a baby carrier. The scene is low-key badass. Anyway, I was wondering if you could do something like that for winterwidows daughter. Like they have no one to babysit her and she has to go on the mission with her parents.
P.S. I love your work.
Family Mission
WinterWidow x Daughter!Reader
Summary: Natasha and Bucky have no babysitter for you so they have no choice but to bring you on a mission to take down a HYDRA base.
A/N: Thank you for all the support on my work! It really means a lot to me that others enjoy reading it. It was my one year posting on tumblr a couple days ago, happy late tumblr birthday to me!
âââ
The morning sun filtered through the Avengers kitchen, casting a warm glow around the room where Bucky was finishing his coffee. Natasha, who was already dressed in her black tactical suit, was adjusting the baby carrier strapped to her chest, inside the carrier was you, gazing up at your mother with wide, curious eyes, cooing softly.
Bucky approached the two of you, his metal arm glinting in the sunlight. "Are you sure about this, Nat? Bringing Y/N along on a mission?"
Natasha gave him a reassuring smile. "We don't have much choice, do we? We canât just keep her here by herself. Besides sheâll be looking at me the whole time."
Bucky leaned down to kiss you on the forehead. "Alright, weâll keep her safe."
âââ
You all quickly boarded the Quinjet, where Tony was pacing the floor. Steve and Clint were gathered around a large holographic display of their mission target: a HYDRA base nestled in the Siberian wilderness.
Tony glanced up as Bucky and Natasha entered, you looked over to Tony with your little legs swinging in the carrier. "Well, look who's here. And they brought a little guest." His tone was a mix of amusement and surprise.
Steve raised an eyebrow. "Y/N? Are you sure about this?"
"We don't have a babysitter," Natasha said with a hint of defiance. "We'll manage."
You were secured in your carrier, staring at the flashing lights and buttons inside the jet, your tiny hands reaching out to grab at the air. Natasha couldn't help but smile at your innocence. Bucky sat beside the two of you, keeping a watchful eye on both his family and the surroundings.
The Quinjet hummed as it sliced through the sky, descending towards the snow-covered landscape of Siberia. As they approached the drop zone, Tony ran through the plan one last time. "Alright, Natasha, Bucky, you're with me. Clint, Steve, Thor, you take the north entrance."
The team split into their assigned groups. Natasha and Bucky, with you securely strapped to Natasha's chest, moved stealthily through the forest. The snow crunched softly under their boots as they approached the base's southern entrance.
You played with the little beanie on your head, giggling quietly as you touched the fuzzy pom-pom. Natasha looked down and smiled at your happy mood, though her face had a hint of worry.
The team were able to hack into the security system, disabling the cameras and unlocking the doors.
"We're in," Steve whispered through the comms.
"Okay, Malyshka," Natasha whispered, adjusting the sound-dampening headphones over your little ears. "Time to be a good girl for Mama and Daddy."
You giggled and waved your tiny hands around as if you were part of the mission. You had no idea what was going on but you liked going on an adventure with your parents.
The three of you slipped into the shadows, Buckyâs eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of movement. Natasha moved silently, her skills honed from years of time in the Red Room. Your presence, surprisingly, didnât hinder her. Instead, it seemed to sharpen her focus, giving her a greater purpose which was to keep you safe.
Inside the base, the corridors were eerily quiet while dimly lit. The team had done their job well, creating diversions and taking out patrols. Bucky and Natasha moved methodically, their silent communication seamless.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Natasha whispered to you, her lips curving into a smile.
As the central control room became closer into view, you began to babble softly, your eyes wide with curiosity. Natasha glanced down and smiled. "Almost there, Dorogoy," she whispered.
Bucky placed a small charge on the door, and they waited for the soft beep indicating it was ready. With a nod, the door blew open, and they rushed inside.
Alarms blared throughout the base. HYDRA reinforcements were closing in fast. Natasha and Bucky moved swiftly, taking down enemies with a coordinated dance of skill and precision. You in your carrier, just watched Natasha with a smile on your little face, your tiny hands clapping at the flashes of movement, oblivious to the danger.
With the last of the Hydra agents taken down, Natasha and Bucky quickly began gathering data from the computers. Steveâs voice crackled over the comms. "Status?"
"All clear," Natasha replied, her fingers flying over the keyboard. "Weâve got the data."
Navigating through the maze of corridors, they reached the exit quickly and ran back into the snowy forest.
âMama!â You giggled, your little fingers tangled in her hair as flakes of snow hit your little pink cheeks.
Natasha laughed and kissed your head. âYou did your first mission! You did so well!â
âââ
Back on the Quinjet, as they soared towards home, Natasha leaned back in her seat, exhausted but relieved. You, now sleepy, nestled against your mother's chest, your tiny hand gripping Natasha's suit.
"You did great today, baby," Natasha whispered, kissing the top of your head.
You babbled sleepily and closed your eyes, now feeling all warm in safe in Natashaâs arms. You loved the little adventure you had today.

âarenât i the one whoâs supposed to be feeling nervous about this?â said jay with a wry smile, keeping his eyes fixed on the road ahead. you glanced over at him, taking in his calm expression and marvelling at his ability to remain so composed given the circumstances. you, on the other hand, couldnât help yourself from fidgeting restlessly in the passenger seat. jay placed a hand on your knee gently to still it.
âlove, itâs going to be fine, i promise,â he shot you a reassuring smile, which you attempted to return weakly. âmums always love me anyway,â he added with a wink, hoping to get you to laugh, but right now you were too preoccupied to play along.
âyeah, itâs justâŚâ you chewed at your thumbnail, staring out the window. âi donât know. iâve never brought a boyfriend back home before. like, ever. and the whole family is going to be there.â you sighed, slumping against the headrest.
jay smiled. âtry not to worry. i promise itâs going to be fine. i for one am looking forward to meeting your folks.â he reached for your hand and gave it a small squeeze.
.âŚ.
once you arrived at your parentsâ place, you werenât even sure what you had been worrying about the whole time. as expected, jay had been a gentleman from the moment he stepped through the door, shaking your fatherâs hand, and greeting your mother politely before passing her the bottle of wine heâd brought up with him. he had charmed every last one of your aunts, who looked on impressed as he helped to lay the table and plate up lunch. your teenage cousins had giggled and whispered to each other behind their hands, eyes darting over at him all throughout the meal.
after heâd finished helping clear up all the dishes, he finally came to join you in the family room. it took all of thirty seconds for him to spot the cabinet of baby pictures and trinkets that sat on the mantelpiece, and he approached eagerly to watch you grow up through photographs.
âthis one was when we visited the states - lord, going on twelve years ago now,â your dad passed a small wooden picture frame over to jay. âwasnât (s)he cute, eh?â
jay nodded, smiling. âvery,â
later in the evening, youâd watched from the sofa as he sat on the rug with your little cousin, who was enthusiastically presenting jay with all of her new toys. he received each one with interest, his face animated, eyes widening and giving little gasps as she explained them all to him in great detail. the way he smiled sweetly down at her made your heart ache just a little. when she had finally shown jay every last little stuffed animal, she turned to him, all of a sudden looking very serious.
âare you and y/n in love??â she demanded abruptly.
jay gave a little laugh, tousling her hair affectionately. then he looked up at you, softly. âyeah. we are,â he replied.
.âŚ.
it felt oddly comforting to be back in your childhood bedroom again with jay by your side, the glow-in-the-dark stars on your ceiling providing a small fluorescent glow in the otherwise complete darkness. you rested your head again his chest and sighed deeply. the long day of travelling and socialising had taken it out of you both completely; you were exhausted.
âyour family are nice,â jay mumbled after a while.
âyeah,â you said quietly. âthey think youâre nice,â you added. âi think youâre nice,â you told him on top of that, wrapping your arms around his waist snugly and hugging him to you.
âis that so?â you could hear the smile in his voice.
âyeah,â you nuzzled into his chest. âthe nicest.â
.âŚ.
the following morning, the two of you stood by the front door saying your goodbyes to your parents. as jay hugged your mother farewell, your dad gave you a kiss on the cheek, before nodding over at jay. âheâs a keeper, this one,â he winked.
jay held your hand all the way from the door to the car, where he opened up the passenger side for you, but before you could get in, he pulled you close to him suddenly, catching you so off guard that you blushed furiously.
âi love you,â he said quietly, his nose brushing your own. you moved to say it back, but his lips were pressed to yours before youâd even got the chance.
a/n literally what a dream request ty anon !! i could go on abt domestic jay all day every day forever until my lungs give out heâs so husband bye ă

The Best Father's Day Gift | J.P
Harry unknowingly gives James the best Father's Day Gift ever â dad!james x mom!reader fluff
Warnings: none :)
Words: 0.6k
For the familyâs first Fatherâs Day since Harry was born, you wanted to make everything special for James just like heâd done for you a month ago on Motherâs Day.Â
You woke up early and brought your son with you so James wouldnât be woken up if Harry started crying. Maybe it was the smell of you making breakfast or maybe your giddy energy was just contagious, but Harry was so adorably happy that morning that within a few minutes of waking him up and feeding him breakfast, you werenât even worried about him crying anymore.Â
Right as you finished preparing the plate, you fed Harry some diced tomatoes that were left over, which he happily ate up. You wiped some drool off his chin, then picked him up in the hand not occupied by your husbandâs breakfast and walked back to your bedroom.Â
Resting the plate on your dresser, you leaned down to rub Jamesâ bicep and kiss him on the forehead.Â
âGood morning, Jamie. Happy Fatherâs Day.â
âGood morning, my love.â He said groggily, then sat up and grabbed his glasses from his nightstand. âAnd good morning to you, Haz. I wouldnât be a father if you werenât here, so Iâm glad you could make it.â
Harry reached a chubby hand up to Jamesâ face and your husband pretended to eat his fingers. You couldnât contain a giggle at how adorable the scene was.Â
It was painful, but you had to interrupt them before the food started getting cold. âWe made you breakfast.â You then placed Harry on the bed and grabbed the food from the dresser and showed it to James.Â
âYou made me a full English?â He asked, and you just smiled in return. James then turned to the baby boy beside him. âYour mum made me my favourite, and I bet you just watched her while eating your fingers.â
You feigned insult and ran to reassure your son. âNo, you were there helping so much with moral support because you love your daddy, right baby?â
Harryâs mouth fell open and he tried pushing out more than just his usual babbles. âDa-di.âÂ
James put down his forkful of food and you both looked at each other with wide eyes. âHe justââ
You nodded. âMhm. Haz, say that again. âDaddyâ, try it again.â It was unnecessary, but you wanted to make sure he really said it and you didnât just both imagine it.Â
But he definitely said it. And proved it by doing it again. âDaddy!â He said enthusiastically now that you were both encouraging him.Â
You and James were both over the moon. It was his first real word, and the timing was just perfect. You scooped him up and pressed a bunch of kisses onto his squishy cheeks, then handed him to James so he could also celebrate.Â
âYou said âdaddyâ!â James said happily. He tickled your son, which made him burst out into a fit of gurgles and laughter, even though the 11 month-old had no idea why you two were so excited. âThis is the best Fatherâs Day gift I could ever ask for!â
âWe have more surprises for you throughout the day, but I know none of them will match up to this.â You half-joked.Â
James continued bouncing Harry on his lap. âMaybe you have to save them until next year, my love.â

Behind Closed Doors (part 16)
Pairing: Cillian x Y/N
Cillian drove you back to your apartment to gather more clothes for your stay with him. As you sat on the edge of your bed, folding clothes and carefully packing them into a small suitcase, he moved around the room, helping wherever he could.
âCan you grab some of the babyâs clothes from the bottom drawer?â you asked.
He leaned down and opened the drawer, finding a few tiny onesies, hats, and socks. The sight of those little garments brought a soft smile to his face. He gathered them and handed them to you, watching as you carefully folded each item.
âThanks,â you said, smiling up at him. âLivvy gave me this set,â you added, holding up a matching hat and pants.
Cillianâs smile widened, his eyes never leaving you. There was something so natural, so right, about you preparing for your baby. You looked beautiful with his child growing inside you, and he felt a deep sense of pride and affection swelling in his chest.
You placed the baby clothes beside your own belongings and then leaned down to open the drawer again. Alongside the rest of the babyâs clothes was a small, pale blue blanket and a soft rabbit plush toy with a rattle.
âThis was mine when I was a baby,â you said softly as you resumed folding.
âYouâve kept it all this time?â Cillian asked, his voice laced with admiration. He found it endearing that youâd saved these cherished items, imagining your baby holding onto something that once belonged to you.
âYeah,â you admitted quietly. âIâve actually got a box full of my old baby clothes. I think itâs back home somewhere.â
âWhy? Did you always know you wanted to be a mum?â he asked, curious. Heâd never met anyone whoâd saved their old belongings for their future children, and it struck him how deeply maternal you were, even back then.
âIâve always wanted to have kids. I love children,â you sighed, your eyes dropping to the clothes in your lap as you tried to focus on your task. âI⌠uh, I actually always wanted to be a teacher. Iâve just always loved being around kids.â
Cillian hesitated for a moment, not wanting to push you but unable to hold back his curiosity. âWhat happened?â
âI just never got to it. My family and friends always made sure to remind me I was too dumb, so I ended up doing what all the âdumbâ girls did,â you said with a small, self-deprecating laugh.
âYouâre not dumb, Y/N. I canât imagine that,â Cillian replied, his tone firm yet gentle.
âI know that now,â you said, your voice softer. âBut at the time, I really believed I wasnât capable of doing anything but being pretty and focusing on âgirlâ things. Donât get me wrong, I love my job, and I was always drawn to fashion and the film industry, but itâs always been my dream to work with children or have my own.â
Cillian nodded in understanding, offering silent support. He never liked throwing out comforting words just for the sake of it; he preferred to listen, to be there. And you appreciated that about him. You never liked being vulnerable in front of others because you hated the empty reassurances. But with Cillian, it felt differentâhe got it, and that was enough.
âWhat about you?â you asked, glancing up at him. âDid you always want to be an actor?â
Cillian paused, leaning against the dresser as he considered your question. âNot really,â he began, his gaze distant as he looked back on his past. âI was actually more into music when I was younger. I thought Iâd end up being a musician, maybe in a band.â
You looked up at him, surprised. âReally? What changed?â
He chuckled softly, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. âWell, I did have a band for a while, and we even got a record deal offer. But I was young, reckless, and a bit too wild for my own good. I ended up turning it down, thinking Iâd have plenty of time to figure things out.â
Cillianâs eyes met yours, and he gave a small shrug. âLife doesnât always go the way you plan, though. I ended up going to university and studied law for a bit, but it just wasnât for me. I was miserable.â
You nodded, listening intently, feeling a deeper connection as he opened up about his past.
âOne day, I went to see a play,â he continued. âAnd something just clicked. I donât know how to explain it, but watching those actors up there, I realized that was what I wanted to do. So I dropped out of university, much to my parentsâ dismay, and threw myself into acting.â
He paused, a small smile playing on his lips as he remembered those early days. âIt was tough, you know? Starting out, taking on small roles, doing theatre⌠But I loved it. Every moment, every character, every storyâit felt like I was finally doing something that mattered to me.â
You smiled softly, understanding the passion behind his words. âAnd now youâre here,â you said quietly, admiring how far he had come.
âYeah,â he nodded, his voice tinged with gratitude. âNow Iâm here. But itâs funny⌠no matter how far Iâve come, how many roles Iâve played, I still think back to those early days when I was just a kid with a guitar, dreaming of a different life.â
You reached out and took his hand, squeezing it gently. âYouâre amazing, Cillian. What youâve accomplishedâitâs incredible.â
He looked down at your intertwined hands, then back up at you, his eyes softening. âThanks, love. But honestly, I think what youâre doing is even more incredible. Youâre bringing a new life into this world, and youâre going to be the best mother.â
Your heart warmed at his words, and you couldnât help but smile. âMaybe⌠but itâs still scary. I donât know if Iâll be able to do it. It's scary.â
âYou will be,â he said firmly, his hand tightening around yours. âYouâve got so much love to give, Y/N. Our babyâs lucky to have you.â
For a moment, the room was filled with a comfortable silence, both of you lost in your thoughts. Cillianâs thumb traced small circles on the back of your hand, a soothing gesture that made you feel safe, like everything would be alright as long as he was there with you.
Finally, you broke the silence, your voice soft. âIâm really glad youâre here, Cillian. I donât know what Iâd do without you.â
He smiled, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to your forehead. âYouâll never have to find out, Y/N. Iâm not going anywhere.â
He smiled, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to your forehead. âYouâll never have to find out, Y/N. Iâm not going anywhere.â
After settling down in his apartment, you were curled up on the couch with a blanket and a pregnancy book. Even though you were naturally maternal, you didnât know much about babies, so your sister had sent you some books on pregnancy, childbirth, and the first few months of your babyâs life.
âHere you go,â Cillian said, approaching you with a cup of tea.
âThanks,â you replied, taking a sip as he sat down next to you and turned on a movie.
The two of you sat in comfortable silence for a whileâCillian watching TV while you read your book. The warmth of the tea and the coziness of the blanket made you feel relaxed, but your mind was still full of thoughts and questions.
After some time, you broke the silence. âAnd Max? Do you only have him on weekends?â
âYeah,â Cillian nodded, his gaze still on the screen. âJust until he can move in with me this summer. so I can have half of the custody.â
You smiled at that, imagining how happy Max must be to spend more time with his dad. âHe wants to meet you, you know,â Cillian added after a moment, his voice soft.
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, and you looked up from your book. âReally? Did you tell him about me?â
âCourse I did. Youâre giving him a baby sister,â he replied, patting your thigh affectionately.
You sat up, a mix of surprise and concern flooding your expression. âYou told him I was pregnant?â
Cillian nodded, sensing your worry. âI did. I wanted him to know, to prepare him. Heâs a smart kid; heâll understand.â
You bit your lip, anxiety creeping in. âWhat if he doesnât like me? Or what if he thinks Iâm trying to take his place?â
Cillian moved closer, his hand resting on your back. âHeâs not going to think that. Max has always wanted a sibling, and heâs been curious about you for a while now. Heâs going to love you, Y/N.â
âOkay,â you replied, biting the inside of your cheek. The thought of meeting Max scared you. He was a kid, and while you knew heâd likely be well-behaved, given who his father was, there was another layer to your anxietyâSiobhĂĄn. Cillian had told you they were on good terms, but when it came to their child, women could be fiercely protective. The idea of stepping into that dynamic made you nervous.
Cillian tried to reassure you, mentioning that Max would be coming over this weekend. You tried to mentally prepare yourself, but the anxiety lingered.
After spending more time reading, you decided to make yourself useful and headed to Cillian's guest room to unpack your bag. The room was spacious, and as you looked around, you thought to yourself that it could make a great nursery. But then you glanced at your suitcase and cursed under your breath. âFuck!â You remembered Dr. Nellyâs instructionsâno heavy lifting.
âCill! Can you help me with my suitcase?â you called out, feeling a bit frustrated with yourself.
Cillian quickly stood up and came to your aid. You hated bothering him, especially knowing how tiring the week had been for him. Being in his apartment felt a bit awkward for you, and though you knew it was for your babyâs health, you couldnât help but feel a bit useless.
He lifted the suitcase with ease and placed it on the bed, unzipping it. âIâm sorry. Thank you,â you said, feeling a bit guilty.
âNo bother,â he replied with a kind smile, shaking his head. He was always so gentle and understanding with you.
âLet me help you,â he murmured, starting to unpack your belongings.
âNo, itâs okay,â you argued, not wanting to be a burden.
âPlease, Y/N,â he insisted, his tone gentle but firm. âThe doctor said no unnecessary effort.â
âFine,â you sighed, giving in as you sat on the bed and leaned against the pillows, watching him work.
As Cillian took out two ziplock bags with baby outfits, he paused, curious. âWhy did you bring the babyâs clothes?â
âWell, if anything happens, we have to be prepared. I donât think I got enough stuff anyway if she was born now,â you said with a small, nervous laugh.
âYeah, about that. We should start buying things, like a cot and a pram.â
âYes, I suppose,â you replied, your gaze drifting off as you stared into space. He was right, but the realization that you didnât even know what you needed began to weigh on you.
âAre you alright?â he asked, noticing your sudden quietness.
âYeah, sorry. Iâm just⌠tired. Do you mind if I take a bath?â you asked softly, feeling the dayâs events catching up with you.
âOf course, go ahead,â Cillian replied, his concern evident as he watched you. âIâll run the bath.â
âThank you,â you responded with a grateful smile, touched by his attentiveness.
You spent half an hour soaking in the hot water, finally finding some peace after the stressful week you'd had. With one hand, you cradled your belly, while the other held the pregnancy book you were reading. A small kick against your palm made you smile, reassuring you that your baby was going to be just fine.
After drying off and greasing your stretching belly, you padded to the living room to grab your phone, which was ringing. Cillian was seated on the couch as you picked it up.
âHello?â you answered, pacing slightly as you spoke.
Cillian shifted his gaze from the TV to you, his eyes following your every move. You were wrapped in a simple white robe and your hair in a messy bun, your outfit making your growing bump even more noticeable. He couldn't help but feel a stir of desire at the sight of you. The way your breasts bounced slightly inside the robe with each step gave him a tantalizing glimpse, and he felt his body react.
âAsh called,â you said as you took a seat on the kitchen stool, brushing your hair absentmindedly. âShe just wanted to check on me, see how I was holding up.â
Cillian glanced over at you, noticing how often you mentioned your sister. âYouâre very close with her, I see,â he observed.
âYeah, we are,â you replied with a soft smile. âSheâs the only one in my family who understands me. Or, well, tries to.â
âWhy? Are they not supportive of you?â he asked, genuinely curious.
âThey are, itâs just⌠I can be very complicated sometimes,â you shrugged, trying to downplay it.
Cillian let out a small chuckle at your response. âHow come?â
âOh, you donât wanna know,â you warned him playfully.
âI do!â he insisted, turning around to face you. He leaned on the counter, crossing his arms, the sleeves of his shirt cuffed at the elbows, revealing his toned forearms. The sight of his veined, muscled arms and the light layer of hair covering them made your mouth water.
âWellâŚâ you looked around the room, trying to think of an example. âFor instance, what are you making?â
âChicken curry with rice,â he replied.
âOkay, so Iâll eat this because Iâm pregnant, and sheâll just make me eat anything,â you laughed, âbut normally, I wouldnât like it.â
âOkay, I see where theyâre coming from,â he said with a smirk, understanding your point.
âAnd itâs the same with so much more. Iâm a pain in the ass!â you declared with a proud smile.
âNo, youâre not,â Cillian reassured you, his tone warm and teasing.
âAre you close with your sister?â you asked as you stood up to get a glass of water.
âYeah, with all of them, but especially with my brother Paidi,â he said, a fondness in his voice when mentioning his family.
Just then, the doorbell rang, catching both of you off guard.
âAre you expecting someone?â you asked, raising an eyebrow.
Cillian shook his head, looking puzzled. He walked over to answer the door, and as soon as it opened, a lively voice called out, âHow is it going brother?â
âOrla?â Cillian exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise.

Hello! Can you make something like "Helping Gavis mother with dinner" at a family dinner?
Thank youâĄ
WC: 1.4k
Saturday nights usually consist of going to games or watching movies on the sofa with my boyfriend Pablo but this evening we actually have plans as his family invited me to have dinner with them. Pablo goes to have dinner with his family when he can but he always goes alone but tonight I'm going with him for the first time. Most people would probably be nervous in this situation and I am a bit but for the most part I'm actually quite excited. I have met Pablo's family loads of times and get along with them really well so I don't need to worry about trying to impress them as we are past that stage.Â
As much as I no longer feel the need to do everything to impress his family I still wanted to be a good guest so while Pablo was at training I went out and brought a bottle of wine for them which I hope they will like as I know nothing about wine. Pablo told me I didn't need to get anything but I wanted to as I would have felt bad if I went empty handed. By the time Pablo got home I was starting to get a bit more nervous as I had lots of time to think about tonight but luckily he distracted me by dragging me upstairs to get ready. Pablo wanted me to help him decide what to wear which he never lets me do so he must have sensed that I was getting nervous and wanted to distract me. Seeing as I had the chance I made him wear the outfit I love the most on him and it happens to match what I was planning to wear. When we were both ready Pablo actually suggested we take some pictures together which I would never say no to so I took a few pictures in the mirror before we left.Â
Since Pablo recently got his drivers license he has been wanting to drive me everywhere as I used to have to drive him. At first it was scary having him drive me but he's actually a good driver so I'm a bit more relaxed now. Pablo's hand was on my knee tapping along to the music that was playing which made me smile as I love when Pablo does little things like that without realising. At some point he realised what he was doing and took his hand off my knee to grab my hand instead which he squeezed to reassure me as we got closer to his parents place.Â
When we arrived Pablo parked the car and ran around to my side of the car to open the door for me which always makes me laugh as I could easily do it myself in the time it takes him to run around the car but he insists on opening my door for me. We walked up to the door together and Pablo rang the doorbell before going inside to let his family know we had arrived. They came right over to greet us so I gave his parents the wine before giving them a hug along with Aurora who I was happy to see as it's been a while since we last saw each other. We all went inside and sat down to catch up on the last few weeks which have been very busy for both me and Pablo with the end of the season and exams.Â
After catching up for a while Pablo's mum went to go and start dinner and I joined her after saying I would help. I love to cook and am always wanting to learn new recipes so I was more than happy to help with dinner plus it gives me some  time to talk more with Pablo's mum. To begin with we found all the ingredients and she told me what we were making and it was a dish my mum used to make all the time when I lived at home. That started a conversation as we were able to talk about recipes we have learnt from our parents and how nothing is better than a home cooked meal from your parents as it's never the same when you do it yourself. From there the conversation evolved into talking about our favourite memories and I really felt like I was getting to know Belen better. We have talked many times but I don't feel like we have ever really got to know each other on a deeper level and I want to do that as I very much plan to stick around for a long time.Â
"What's one day you will always remember?" Belen asked while we cut vegetables togetherÂ
"Oh gosh there's so many especially from my childhood but I'd say that they day Pablo asked me to be his girlfriend is up there" I saidÂ
"I don't think he's ever told me about that day" Belen saidÂ
"Well we'd been talking for a while and been on a few casual dates and he asked me on another date which I expected to be like the rest but when I got to his house he greeted me at the door with some roses and he'd set up a really romantic dinner with candles everywhere and then after dinner we sat outside together where he asked me to be his girlfriend" I reminiscedÂ
"That's very sweet Pablo must have really loved you from the start as he never put that much effort in when he liked girls before you" she saidÂ
"Since we started dating he's been very good about putting in enough effort sometimes he puts me to shame with the little things he does for me" I saidÂ
"I'm glad to know I raised him well" Belen laughedÂ
"You definitely did he's a great guy" I saidÂ
"Your parents raised you well too you are a very lovely girl" she saidÂ
"Thank you that's sweet of you to say" I saidÂ
"I really mean it when Pablo first brought you here I knew straight away that he found a good one I always worried he'd fall for someone who was only interested in him for his career but when you arrived it was obvious that you weren't like that and now I hope he never lets you go you are like a second daughter to me" she admittedÂ
Hearing Belen say that made me so happy as I knew his family liked me but to actually hear that she thinks of me of a second daughter is such a relief. I always wanted to make a good impression on his family as I know that with Pablo being a footballer they would scrutinise any girl he dated more than most people would and I wanted to show that I really do love their son for who he is as a person. We kept talking as we made dinner and the smile on my face only got bigger the more Belen complimented me.Â
The two of us were having a lovely time bonding until Pablo came in and hindered my ability to cook as he wrapped his arms around mine. I turned around as much as possible to give him a quick kiss which made him let go of my arms and just stand next to me instead. He wanted to know what we had been talking about so his mum told him about our conversation and of course Pablo started to talk about how much he loved me which made me blush even more than I already was. It's nice to feel loved and appreciated but I always get shy when people compliment me which Pablo knows but he kept going as he likes to see me blush. To make him stop I had to get him to help me with the sauce I was making as then he had something else to pay attention to.Â
It wasn't much longer before dinner was ready and everyone was sat at the table to enjoy the meal. Everyone was talking in between mouthfuls but I was just sat quietly with one of Pabloâs hands on my thigh thinking. I was thinking about how I canât wait to have many more family dinners like this with Pabloâs family in the future. I have truly found a second family that I feel completely comfortable with and I want to enjoy for as long as Pablo wants me around which I hope is for a very long time if not forever.Â

Detours to you - 21
Good day!
Posting a bit earlier than usual; because my hockey team is playing at what is ^:30 here and once I am in hockey mode I will forget to do it.
Soo... here we are after Rowan's accident. This will at least reassure you that he is fine.
Hope you will enjoy it.
MASTERLIST
âAelin,â he paused âI need you to come to the hospital with me.â
Her world stopped. She had a bad feeling all day but now that her worst fear had come through she was frozen in place. Aedion, and Lysandra were at her side but Aelin felt numb.
Elide went to talk to Lorcan for details and he explained all he knew.
In the distance Aelin heard Maya asking for her dad and crying.
Aelin just stood, numb.
âI can take you to the hospital.â
She nodded slowly then turned to her daughter and asked her to go her grandparents.
âNo. I want dad!â She screamed loudly while crying in her grandfatherâs arms âI want dad!â
Aelinâs heart broke piece by piece.
Rhoe kissed his granddaughter âYour mum is going to the hospital to see how he is.â He tried to explain to an heartbroken toddler âwe will take you there as soon as your dad is fine.â
âNo.â She screamed once more and Aelin hugged her daughter âBaby, your dad is fine.â
Maya cried but Aelin had to give herself the courage to stand up âDad, take her with you and mum. I will call you with updates.â
She walked to Lorcan âTake me to the hospital.â
With her heart breaking she followed the fire captain to the truck outside pushing aside the noise of her daughter crying. She had to be strong. She had to put barriers up and push the pain aside because if she didnât she would risk falling apart completely.
The ride to the hospital felt like forever. The firefighters at her side offered comfort but all Aelin could think was Rowan. She was terrified. She had just found him again after five years. They were finally building that family they had talked about a long time ago. She could not lose him now. She did not want to tell her daughter that the horrible lie she had ready for her had become real.
A sob broke her lips and Ansel must have heard her because the woman pulled her closer âAelin when we found him he was breathing, injured but breathing. That is a good sign.â
And then anger surged in her âHe is the chief,â she shouted âwhy the fuck was the chief inside?â
Lorcan turned âI tried to stop him, but Rowan was the only one to know the layout of the industrial site like the back of his hand. He had been trying for months to fix the problems.â
âYou are his best friend and you let him go in alone!â She shouted, her hands shaking. The truck fell silent and Aelin leaned her head against the window. The coolness of the glass offering a sort of temporary respite.
They arrived at the hospital ten minutes later and Ansel helped her get off the truck and Brullo flanker her too. Fenrys followed behind and Lorcan gave them a bit of space before went too.
Fenrys went to talk with the charge nurse with the familiarity of someone who spent a lot of time in hospitals.Â
âHi Sorscha, Asterin and James brought our chief in, any updates?â
Aelin stood beside the blonde man while her heart raced with anxiety.
âAll I know for now is that he is in surgery.â
A sob escaped from her lips and Fenrys walked her to a chair. She sat in silence and time passed slowly. Aelin could hear people talking around her but she felt disconnected from her body. She was numb. The idea of losing Rowan had the power of crushing her.
Eventually Aelin called her parents and they had told her that they finally managed to get Maya to eat something and go to bed. It had been hard and she kept asking for her dad but they had managed to calm her down.
After almost two hours Aelin started to lose her patience, so she stood and pacing became a way not to freak out. She marched up to the nurses station asking for an update. She was about to scream in frustration when a doctor walked to her âMrs Whitethorn?â
Aelin did not have the strength to correct the doctor. It was not a priority. She needed news.Â
âI have an update on the Chief.â
Aelin braced for the worst.
âHe suffered internal injuries and we had to perform a splenectomy.â She started explaining âhe was bleeding internally when he arrived in. His lower body suffered fractures, the worst one to his left femur and his legs. He will need surgery and then physio but he will be able to move again.â The doctor paused âHe is intubated for now, we are keeping him like that to help with his oxygen levels and prevent ARDS and allow his lung to heal. His mask was cracked which means he might have inhaled toxic fumes and the next few hours are the most critical.â
Aelin wanted to try and relax but she feared there was more âBut he is alive.â
âYes, the Chief is alive and in the ICU for now.â
âCan⌠can I see him?â She asked with fear.
âYes, I can take you up to the ward.â
Aelin turned to Fenrys and the man nodded âWe will have to go back to quarters soon but we are visiting as soon as we are off shift.â
She ran to him and hugged him hard âThank you.â
Fenrysâ arms wound around her squeezing back in support. She then pulled back and followed the doctor to the lift and to the ICU ward.
The doctor walked her to the door âHe is in here.â
Aelin stared at the blue door and hesitated. She was afraid of what she would find behind.Â
Her hand hovered on the handle and eventually pushed the door open. The lights were suffused, the room silent apart from the rhythmic sound of the machines that were crowding his bed. She had the strength to look up and Aelin saw Rowan in his bed. He looked so small in that bed. A sob rippled through her and then moved closer to the bed. She stared at his chest raising and falling steadily with the help of the respirator and a sense of calm descended on her. That was a good sign. He had multiples IVs one of which with blood. The right side of his body was heavily padded on his chest and along his arm. She sat gently at Rowanâs left side and gently brushed his head pushing back his hair âI was so scared,â she whispered, amidst sobs âwhen Lorcan showed up IâŚâ a ragged breath left her âI thought I had lost you, Rowan. I was terrified.â
Aelin caressed his face, gently brushing the small cuts on his cheeks âYou will be fine. You are coming back to Maya and me and we are going to be a family, Rowan.â Another kiss to his cheek âI love you. I love you so much, Rowan and I donât want to be away from you ever again.â Tears were now falling freely âI love you. I love you, please wake up so I can finally shout it at you.â She sat at his side, his uninjured hand flush to her chest so that he could feel her heartbeat.
The door behind her opened and the doctor from before came in.
âI just came for some checks.â
Aelin followed the doctor move around Rowan checking his monitors and his fluid bags.
âDo you have any questions?â
She nodded frantically but her voice failed her.
âThe spleenâŚâ
The doctor nodded knowing exactly what she was asking âHe can live without it. For the first two years after a splenectomy he might have to take antibiotics daily to combat bacterial infections. Some people have to take them all of their lives but the chief is a healthy man and we are hoping is just going to be the first option.â
âCan heâŚ. Can he work again?â
âYes, he will need physio after this. But we are expecting a full recovery.â
âOkay,â was all she could say. Her emotions still too raw.
âWe will be keeping him in the ICU for a couple of days until we remove his tube. His oxygen levels are improving quickly which is a good sign.â
The doctor finished the checks and left her alone. Aelin kissed Rowan and then walked out of the room.
She climbed all the way down to the lobby where his old team was still there waiting for news. Lorcan stepped up and she ran to hug the man âI am sorry for what I said,â she cried in the manâs arms âI was scaredâŚâ
âI tried, Aelin.â
âI know.â
âDo you have news?â Asked Brullo.
Aelin nodded eagerly pulling away from the captain âhe had a splenectomy. He suffered some other internal injuries but the doctor fixed him.â She explained âHis left femur and his legs are fractured and has second degree burns on his right side.â Fen took her hand âBut he will be fine. Doc says they will move him out of the ICU in two days then you will be able to visit and he should wake up after that.â
Relief spread through the team.
âHow are the people he saved?â
âAlive because of him,â added Lorcan âA bit of hospital time too but alive.â
Aelin burst into tears. It had been too much for a day and now the adrenalineÂ
was wearing off and her body was shutting down.
âDo you need us to call anyone?â
âNo,â she dismissed Lorcan âGo back to base, I will be fine. Thank you for staying behind.â
The team hugged her tightly and then left the lobby. Aelin breathed in deeply and climbed back up in the ICU ward.
Outside of his room she called her parents with a new update and cried over the phone, letting her anguish finally free.
Once she felt finally liberated she walked back inside his room. Outside was snowing and Aelin reached the window looking outside âWe never got our date, you owe me one, Chief.â
She stared at the Orynth skyline and spotted the Orynth tower shooting up in the night sky alight with reds and blues and oranges âDo you remember our first date? I convinced you to go to Orynth tower and you started telling me of all the rescues you had performed.â She started telling him âBut it was after a shitty day at my job you had taken me to a bookstore and told to buy all the books I wanted that I think I fell in love with you,â she chuckled âIt was probably one of the most dangerous thing you ever did, considering my book obsession, but it was also the most loving act anyone ever did for me.â She turned to him âYou were caring, you are still the most caring man I know. When your mum fell ill after your dad died I knew letting you go was the right thing to do.â She paused and walked to the end of the bed âIt broke me, Rowan. Pushing you away the way I did broke me, but you were hurting too much.â
She reached the side of his bed again and very gently she sat on it, then removed her shoes and climbed on the side that was the less injured. Aelin tucked herself against him and kissed his jaw âWill you ever fully forgive me?â Then all of a sudden she had an idea. Aelin jumped up and went to grab her bag with her phone. Frantically she scrolled through her contacts and hoped she was glad she never cleaned up her list because there towards the end there was still the number of Rowanâs parents house in Wendlyn.Â
Excited she dialled it and when a voice she hadnât heard in five years answered, her heart raced âEiddwen Whitethorn?â
âSpeaking.â
âHi, I am AelinâŚâ she let the information sink in and then continued âI am calling because Rowan has been in an accident at work. He is at the hospital. He had surgery but the prognosis is good.â
His mother was silent and Aelin continued âHe saved a few people in the meantime too. He will be fine, will just need some rehab.â
She heard sobs âI would like to ask you if youâd like to come here. Doctors are planning on waking him up in two days. I am sure he will love having you here andâŚâ a pause âand I am sure our daughter would be delighted to finally meet her other grandma.â
Eiddwen still did not speak and Aelin worried âI would love to, Aelin. â a pause âIs my son really going to be okay?â
Aelin finally found the strength to let out a small chuckle âhe might have to give up hiking for a while, but he will be fine just a bit in less than minted condition.â
âGood.â She could hear a smile âDoes this meant that you two are back together?â
âWe are getting there, Eiddwen.â
âI will ask Sellene to book me a ticket. She is the one good with technology.â
Aelin smiled âLet me know when you arrive and I will come and get you at the airport.â
âI have a mobile number, you can call me on that.â
Eiddwen told her the number and the woman promised to call back with a flight plan.Â
She walked back to Rowan âYour mum is coming too. I am sure she will love to fuss and Maya really wants to meet her grandma.â
Aelin kissed his cheek and went back at his side.

Walking to his place was filled with Hanbin chatting up a storm. Meanwhile, Hao would just sweetly smile at him while offering his own little thoughts about whatever topic the other male decided on here and there. He wasnât oblivious. He knew Hanbin was being chattier than usual to keep his mind at bay and from entering dangerous waters.Â
âWell, this is me.â, Hao announced once they approached his building.Â
The five-floor apartment that Hao stayed in was situated on the outskirts of the city. It was primarily known for being one of the rough areas, however, Hao who had now lived here for more than two years couldnât really agree. Sure, it was poverty-stricken and that attracted people with all sorts of socio-economical issues, but he had never felt unsafe or threatened. Although, he supposed there was one exception and that was his unruly neighbours, who still refused to let him sleep at night.Â
Hao unlocked the front door to the apartment complex fairly easy despite the ever growing shaking of his hands. He beckoned Hanbin to follow him as he shut the door behind him.Â
âI am up on the second floor. There isnât an elevator though, so we will have to walk. I hope you donât mind.âÂ
âLead the way.â, Hanbin saluted him.Â
Hao laughed before leading the way upstairs. His flat was located at the very end of the hallway on the second floor, its windows facing the bright lights of the city.Â
Hao brought out the second pair of keys. His handsâ trembling was almost reminiscent of the shakes of an earthquake, and he felt quite embarrassed as he tried to push the keys into the lock but failed every single time. A hand reached out to stop the tremor in his body.Â
âHao Hao, you are okay.â, Hanbin reassured him.Â
He took a deep breath, and with the other's help successfully twisted the key in the lock. Pushing the door open, he ushered Hanbin reluctantly into his flat.Â
It was small. Almost claustrophobically small. But he thought it was cozy. Heâd spent a lot of time trying to turn it into an actual home, not a place he just slept in. There was a tiny kitchenette tucked away in the corner of the room with a window above it, blinding city lights illuminating the rest of the space. His bed sat on the opposite side, an array of plushies littering it. Across was the desk lamp he had forgotten to turn off in the morning, accompanied by all his books that were messily spread out on the cramped desk.Â
âIs that a photo of you and your parents?â, Hanbin asked, eyes taking in the space.Â
Haoâs eyes fell onto the picture frame next to his bed. Indeed, standing there was a photo of him and his parents on the day he got accepted to study abroad. He smiled at it melancholically.Â
âYes, that was the day I found out my application for the University had been accepted.âÂ
Hanbin gave him a affirmative nod, âYou look a lot like your mum.âÂ
Hao felt his eyes burn but decided to push the tears back. He was determined to not ruin the mood with his crying.Â
He was about to give the male a response when the latter practically screamed out loud.Â
âOh my god, is that you in a suit, holding a violin?âÂ
He laughed, the sound almost bitter.Â
âYeah, I used to get booked for weddings quite a bit back in China.â, he shyly admitted.Â
âYou still play?âÂ
âHypothetically, yes. But I donât own a violin anymore. Had to sell it to pay for my parentsâ burial and to support myself.âÂ
His confession hurt Hanbin, his smile turning into a frown.Â
âI am sorry Hao Hao.âÂ
He didnât want Hanbin to be sad because of his miserable past. So, he smiled back at him reassuringly.Â
âItâs okay. Maybe one day I will have the money for another one.âÂ
âHmm, are violins that expensive?â, Hanbin asked, feet on the move to explore the rest of his flat. Not that there was much to explore.Â
Hao nodded, âThey are expensive, yes. Depends on your level though.âÂ
âWhat level are you then?âÂ
âActually, I have a teacher diploma.âÂ
Hanbin's hand, which was busy flipping through a book on his cluttered desk, retracted at lightning speed.Â
âYou are that good? I donât get it then. Why not get a job as a teacher?âÂ
âI thought about it, but I needed the money urgently, so selling the violin seemed like the best option at that time.âÂ
The male's attention fell back onto the photo of him holding the violin. He knew whatâs coming next.Â
âDo you regret it?âÂ
There it was. Such a simple question with such a complex answer.Â
âI donât know.â, he settled with, âI know I needed to pay off my parentsâ burial somehow, but I also know that playing is my escape. Sometimes, I think about how different my life might have been if I still had this part of my life unchanged.âÂ
âI get it. Sometimes you donât get to do what you want to do, right?âÂ
Hao agreed, âRight.âÂ
Hanbin clapped his hands, smile returning on his precious face, âAnyway! Shall we watch a movie then?âÂ
He huffed out a little laugh as he watched the excited man fumble through the bag looking most likely for his laptop. He took a sit on his bed, waiting for him to finish setting up.Â
Hanbin let out a long sigh as he flop next to him.Â
âI swear I need a bigger bag. Getting that laptop out was a proper work out.â, he complained.Â
Setting the laptop on his lap, Hanbin pressed the power button, waiting for the machine to come to life. Only it didnât. The daunting low battery icon flashed on the screen for a split second before the screen went black again.Â
The male groaned, âFuck. I thought I charged it last night. I am such a disaster! I didnât even bring my charger with me because I was so sure it was all fired up and ready to go.âÂ
Hao smiled at Hanbin sympathetically, âItâs okay. You are not a disaster. Things like this happen all the time.âÂ
The latter pursed his lips in thought, âBut then what are we supposed to do?âÂ
He honestly didnât know. Itâs not like he had a laptop. His old one broke down ages ago and since then he hadnât been able to replace it.Â
All of a sudden, he felt Hanbin's body bounce on the bed.Â
âI know! I will do your hair with those hair clips!â, Hanbin cried out, proceeding to pick up said clips from his nightstand. He didnât even remember leaving these there. When did the other even notice?Â
âWhat do you have these for anyway?â, Hanbin asked, inspecting them.Â
âWell, I used to wear them while practicing the violin. My hair got in the way quite a bit.â, he explained.Â
âMakes sense. Come on then. I will turn you into a pretty doll.âÂ
Haoâs ears flushed their red usual, but he accepted defeat and turned his body to face Hanbin's.Â
The male excitedly took a teddy bear shaped clip and gently grabbed a few strands of hair. He clipped it into place, hands already reaching for a second one to repeat the process. Part of him wondered why Hanbin had decided to stay. Surely, putting hair clips in his hair wasnât this entertaining. Yet, one look at his face was enough to confirm that he was genuinely happy to do this. To be here with him. He felt the familiar warmth circulating through his body.Â
âI am doing splendid work in my opinion. You look cute.â, Hanbin commented, taking a quick look at his progress.Â
âI am sure it looks amazing.â, Hao chuckled.Â
âWait, I need to put some on the back of your head.â, he exclaimed, bending to reach over Hao's head.Â
He was so close. He could practically feel Hanbin's toned chest, most likely due to his impressive experience in dancing, grazing his shoulder whilst more hair clips were being put into place. For a second, Hao found it hard to breathe. His chest felt tight, and his hands started getting clammy. He bit his lip trying to ease his anxiety.Â
âThere you go. All done.â, Hanbin announced.Â
Hao was seconds away from releasing the longest exhale in his life, when he found the latter inches away from his face. Hanbin was looking at him with such an emotion-filled expression. He felt his mouth part, ready to say something, whatever, but Hanbin's hushed tone stopped him in his tracks.Â
âHao Hao.âÂ
For the few seconds that followed, he was certain he blacked out. One minute, he was looking at Hanbin, eyes alert, the next he felt warm lips on his. Trying not to panic too much, he reluctantly circled his hands around the other man's neck. He pondered about the last time he kissed someone. It had been so long ago, he sincerely prayed that his skills werenât lacking that much. Although, judging by the barely noticeable trembling of Hanbin's lips, he felt just as nervous.Â
Feeling a little bit braver, Hao swiped his tongue against the other's lips. He noticed him exhale heavily, most likely due to nervousness, before softly pressing his heated hand on his Hao's cheek, finally granting him entry.Â
He was addicted. He was addicted to the warmth Hanbin always provided him, kissing him only fulfilling that sense of comfort. He wanted more and more. He wanted the other to stay close to him forever until all he could feel was the blazing fire in his chest. He needed himself to be the reason for the crackling fire igniting between Hanbin's breasts.Â
Hanbin softly whined in his mouth, spurring Hao on to greedily pull the male even closer to him. The latter, clearly just impatient as him, decided to take matters into his own hands, driving Hao into his lap.Â
Still, it almost didnât seem like it was enough. Maybe nothing could ever be enough. Perhaps nothing he could do would sufficiently show Hanbin how much he made him feel.Â
âHao where are we going with this?â, Hanbin asked, doubt laced in his voice.Â
For once he was going to be brave. This time he was going to scream the truth if he had to.Â
âI want you. I want to show you how much you mean to me. Will you let me do that?âÂ
Hanbin visibly gulped, âI have never-âÂ
Haoâs eyes softened, âNeither have I. We can take our time. There is no reason to rush. And if you donât want to, thatâs okay as well. I just want to make you as happy as you make me.âÂ
Hanbin softly brought their foreheads together, hands reaching to gently cup his cheeks, âYour own happiness is what makes me the happiest.âÂ
Hao's lips jutted into a soft pout, eyes full of fondness and warmth turning to look at the man before him. He gently caught a strand of stray hair falling in front of Hanbin's face, pushing it behind his ear.Â
âI am happy. I have you and thatâs all I need.â, Hao sincerely confessed.Â
Hanbin's eyes lit up in glee, genuine emotion dripping from them. Hao couldnât tell if it was love yet.Â
The male's tight grip on his hoodie snapped him out of his thoughts. The smile on Hanbin's face had been wiped off, his brown irises exposing all his deepest thoughts.Â
âI will love you.â, Hao thought to himself before Hanbin's lips engulfed his once again.Â
ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
A/N:
Yes, I did say I would release this in the start of February. Did I intend to? Absolutely? Did I manage to? Clearly not. Also, how rude of me not to even greet the people that may be reading this. So, hello! For those who don't know I am always fashionably late at updating this story.
In all seriousness, I am very happy that I at least succeeded in eventually putting this out. My life has been in a bit of topsy-turvy state. I sincerely hope that anyone who reads this chapter loves it, especially since this is my favourite one of the ones I have written so far.
I will be going back to edit some of the previous chapters and making some minor changes, because I realized after 4 months of writing this story that I switch back and forth to present and past tenses quite a bit. Personally, I believe this confuses the narrative and makes the story seem more messy, sooooo...
I cannot promise when the next chapter will be out as 1. I am too bad at sticking to releasing new chapters on time and 2. I haven't even started chapter 4.
Frankly, and I don't mean to cause any concern, I don't even know how to proceed after this chapter. I know how I want the story to end, but I have no clue where to go with what happens in-between. Hopefully, I will figure this out shortly and the next chapter will not be released as late as July or anywhere near that date.

Grievances
Requested by @wosoobsessed
Request - Hi, would you maybe be able to do a bit of an angsty one with Natasha? I lost my mum earlier this year. So maybe the reader's mum passes away and Natasha is just the best partner and comforts her through the Journey of her grief and like holds her while she cries. And goes with her to the funeral. Sorry if this is too sad you donât have to do it I 100% understand if this isnât the stuff you would want to write đđBut thank you anyway!!
I sat there in shock. I got the phone call everyone dreads, the call from someone letting you know a loved one has passed. My mother, a kind and funny woman, had passed on earlier today, and after getting a call from my sister, my world was crushed. The tears hadnât set in yet, I was still processing the words that I had been told. Natasha was wrapping up filming for Poker Face season 1 in upstate New York. I wanted to text her, ask her to come back to the apartment with a bottle of liquor and a box of tissues, and fall into her arms. However, I felt bad doing that. It was only 10 a.m. and she had left at 7. This meant that there was most likely a 12-hour shoot day today and that she wouldnât be home until 11 or midnight. So, I did the next best thing, I drove to the store, got some booze, and came home and cried. And watched sad movies, and cried. It was about 10 pm and I had a lot to drink. I wasnât on another planet or anything cliche, but I wasnât sober. And that's how Natasha found me, lying on the couch, staring off into space and mumbling to myself. âHi Natty!â I slurred. Natasha looked shocked at my state, âBaby? What, uh, what happened?â The question made me remember why I got so drunk in the first place. This time, the tears came. I couldnât stop them, they just kept pouring down my face. This reaction shocked Natasha, even more. âOk, ok. Letâs get you to bed, ok honey? We can talk in the morning.â The next thing I knew, I was waking up in our shared bed with a killer hangover. After I emptied my stomach of the booze, I sat down on the bed next to an expectant Natasha. âSo, do you wanna tell me what last night was all about? I brought home some beers to celebrate filming wrapping, but when I got home you were 2 sheets to the wind,â Natasha said, looking at me worried. âNatâŚIâŚjustâŚhere,â I couldnât get the words out, so typed it into my phone and handed it to my fiance. I was on the verge of tears again as I waited for her reaction. She didnât say anything, she just pulled me into her and held me. I cried in her arms for a while. To be honest, Iâm not sure how much time passed. All I know is that when I was done, it was no longer morning. We had spent the day cuddling, crying, and sleeping.Â
âDarling? Are you hungry? I can hear your stomach rumbling,â Natasha said, after multiple hours of grieving. I nodded my head, my throat sore. âWhat would you like to eat?â She asked again. I only shrugged my shoulders, not currently wanting to make a decision. âDoes pizza sound good?â Once again, I only nodded. I got up and made myself look a little more presentable and walked to meet Nat by the door. She took my hand and walked us to her car.Â
I got in the car and she did too. As she drove, I decided to finally speak. âIâm sorry, bub,â I said, looking at my lap. I felt bad. I felt like I had been clingy and just overall annoying.Â
âNo, no. You donât have anything to be sorry for. Why would you think that? Youâre grieving over the loss of someone who was a giant part of your life. You can be as sad as you want. Iâm going to take some time off and Iâm going to be with you, ok? Because I donât want you to think that this is something to be ashamed of. Feeling like this, feeling emotional, even feeling numb, is all a part of the process of grief. Please understand that you donât have anything to be ashamed of.â Natasha reassured me. I almost cried out of relief. âReally?â I asked, trying to wrap my head around the kindness and acceptance of my partner. She nodded as we pulled into the restaurant parking lot.
âI promise, hon. You have nothing to be ashamed of and you shouldnât feel weak. Now, Iâm gonna go in and get our food. Want your normal?â She asked. After I told her what I wanted, she walked into the store. I was still feeling lost without my mom. She was the kind of woman everyone looked up to. She was a head-turner, yet she put kindness before looks. Even though I knew it would be hard to navigate this world in this new normal without her, I knew that Natasha would help and support me through my grievances.

Trent Alexander - Arnold (Liverpool) - Dinner
Requested: wattpad by beloved
Prompts: 13) "Can you just pick something so we can go already!"
15) "Let's just pretend that didnt happen."
Warnings: none at all, at all
Y/n sat at the bottom of the bed as her boyfriend Trent stood deciding which jacket would look better. "See, I like this black one, but the navy is better for occasions like this." He explained. Occasions like this? He was talking about meeting Y/n's parents for the first time. He had met them before but that was before they started to go out, back when he was simply a friend. "We're just visiting the house, Trent." Y/n repeated for what felt like the hundredth time. "Gotcha." He turned back to the mirror. "So, too formal." She groaned and fell back onto the bed. "How did I take a shower, do my hair and makeup, find clothes and put them on and you still haven't decided on a jacket!" Y/n exclaimed. "It's a big thing! I'm your boyfriend now! And I only met your dad, didn't go near your mum for whatever reason." Trent replied, taking off the black jacket. "Can you just pick something so we can go?!" Trent took off the black jacket and threw on the navy blazer he was talking about. "I'll just wear the navy I suppose." Trent mumbled.
"Okay babe, but lose the shirt. That's a business shirt. Just wear the short sleeved one you were on about earlier." Trent threw his arms up. "Now you tell me." He mumbled to himself. "And don't forget to wear the scarf they sent!" Trent adored that scarf. God knows why but he loved the checked scarf Y/n's dad brought out while Trent was away at a match. "You just asked me to remind you." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "I'm gonna go down and make sure everything is locked up and then we'll go, okay?" Trent nodded. "Alright, see you in a minute."
Trent pulled into the pebbled driveway and parked. "Why am I actually nervous?" Trent muttered. "Because you're overthinking it." Y/n replied bluntly. "You're meant to be helping me here!" Y/n laughed. "When you spent a good hour picking a jacket, I don't think so." Trent groaned. "Listen, you'll be fine." Y/n rubbed his back and gave a reassuring smile. "You've already met Dad and he loves you. You just need to meet my mother. You'll be fine." For whatever reason it was, Trent had to hype himself up. Why? For confidence and for his girlfriend. "Hold on, let me get the bouquet from the boot." Trent took off his seat belt. "She's allergic to flowers." Y/n reminded him. "Oh right, I'll get the wine then-"
"She doesn't drink it."
"Does your dad?"
"Well, yes-"
"Then it's fine. Let's just pretend that didnt happen." With this new outlook, Trent became more confident. "What type of wine?" Y/n asked as Trent opened her car door. "Pinot Noir, 1990. Had to cough up 50 quid for it! It's mad that!" Trent said, waving the bottle around. "I'd love for you to drop it." Y/n joked, hopping out into the cold Liverpool air. "Don't even think that, you'll jinx me." Y/n laughed hysterically before they walked up together and rang the doorbell. Y/n linked arms eith her boyfriend as he held the wine in his hands and showed the checked scarf proudly around his neck. The door opened and there stood a woman, dressed quite nicely with a soft smile on her face. "Hi mam!" Y/n squealed, hugging her mother tightly. There were some words between the two before Y/n turned back to Trent. "Mam, this is Trent. My boyfriend." Y/n's mother's smile left and was replaced by a fake. Trent noticed, as did Y/n but neither said anything. He held his hand out and smiled. "Lovely to meet you Mrs. Y/l/n. I've heard a lot of great things about you."
"I heard some things about you too." She said, shaking his hand. The trio stood looking at eachother, unsure of what the next move was. "Can we come in or are we eating dinner outside?" Y/n joked, making the other two laugh. As the walked into the hall, Y/n's mother went to the kitchen, leaving the couple to themselves. "You saw you that too, didn't you?" Trent asked, taking his scarf off. "Yeah, she's never done that ever." Trent sighed. "Great start to the evening then."
Thankfully, Y/n's dad came to the rescue and held a conversation with Trent for the evening while Y/n conversed with her mother. "We're just gonna go outside for a bit, love. Back in a minute." Y/d/n name said, standing up to leave. "Coming, Trent?" Trent nodded and stood up, excusing himself from the table. Once they were outside, they closed the door behind them. "So, how's the night treating you?" Y/d/n asked. "Yeah, lovely evening. Thanks for having me." Trent was trying his best to be polite. "It's no bother at all, lad. You're great to have around." It grew quiet between the two as they simply stood in the cold. "She doesn't talk much." Trent suddenly said. "Who?" Y/n's father asked. "Your missus. She doesn't say a lot." Trent explained. A chuckle came from Y/d/n. "She's usually all chatter, but not tonight." Trent looked confused. "Why's that if you don't mind me asking?" He asked. "Well, she grew up in Manchester. She's a United fan." Y/d/n said. "No way." Trent was amused by this new information. "Yeah and the worst part, she somehow convinced me to move to Manchester with her before Y/n was born."
"I could never do that." Trent laughed. "I wouldn't have the patience for them." Y/d/n joined in the laugh. "You'd be surprised what you'd be able to do for the right woman. I sat saying I'd never associate myself with a United fan and here I am married to one." That got Trent thinking. How far would be go for his own girlfriend? Would he move to Manchester? No, but that's because Y/n wouldn't want to. Anywhere else, he would maybe consider it. "Why didn't she just move here? You're here now anyway."
"Well, she was in uni at the time. I was just working. I could've got a job anywhere but her dream course was in Manchester. God knows why it'd be there but I followed her anyway."
"I'm sure the in laws loved that." Trent chuckled. "Loved it." He replied sarcastically. "One time our apartment had a leak and the place flooded so we had to stay at her parent's house. By we I mean she did. I wasn't allowed. It was either just me missus and Y/n slept in the house or none of us did. Slept in our van outside the house. The next day she said we're moving to Liverpool, so we did." Trent caught glimpse of a reminiscent smile from the man beside him. "Good times?" Trent asked. "Not particularly but I had her at least. My mam didn't like her either but we made it work out."
"That's the secret to marriage, eh?"
"Just stick with her and there's nothing that can go wrong." The door opened behind them and out stood Y/n, a smile beaming from her face. "You two okay?" She asked. "I'm just heading in now but if you want, you two can stay out here for a bit." Y/d/n said, patting Trent on the back. "Okay, well be in, in a minute." Y/n smiled as her dad walked inside. "So, what were you talking about?" Y/n asked once they were alone. "Can't tell you. But I can tell you that you were born in Mamchester, not Liverpool." Y/n groaned. "Did you bring up hating Manchester again?" Trent laughed and shook his head. "No, he just brought it up."
"Our conversation got me thinking what I'd be willing to do for you." Y/n fded her arms and leaned on the door. "And what would you be willing to do?" Her features had softened. Trent stood in front of her and lifted her chin. "Well, we've got the rest of our lives to figure that out, don't we?" And with that, Trent placed a kiss onto her soft lips. "We better get back in to finish this dinner." Y/n beamed. "Come on then, we'll get going."

series summary : when fionna brings you home one night the gallaghers are unsure of how to react, however, if there is one thing they are sure of, it is how much they each want a turn with you.
series warning : this series is going to contain extremely explicit and smutty content and is quite literally the most shameless thing you may ever read. this series is mainly going to consist of smut and content discussing poly relationships.
pairing : ian gallagher x fem!reader
warnings : mentions of a hangover, swearing, blow job, oral sex (male receiving), basically just a ton of oral smut
9:03 am (y/nâs perspective)
sunlight peered in through the opened blinds that were posititoned across the room from me.
i was laying on a queen sized matress that had been pushed up against one of the walls in a small, dark, quiet room.
the window that lay across from me provided barely enough light to see, but from what i
could tell the matress was the only peice of furniture in the room.
every once in a while i heard a voice or loud noise come from downstairs but for the most part i was laying in complete silence.
i didnt remember much from the day before. just waking up hungover and then having sex with a man in the kitchen downstairs.
so pretty much the same bullshit as usual.
i didnt remember being brought upstairs so i must have been asleep when that happened.
i noticed my hair was freshly washed and body was clean. i was no longer wearing my skimpy black dress, but was now wearing an oversized, grey nirvana t-shirt with a pair of red lace panties.
suddenly the door on the right side of the room swung open.
a redheaded male abruptly entered the room with a tray that carried an assortment of foods.
âhello.â the man said awkwardly.
he walked over to me and placed the tray on the floor beside the matress.
âhi.â i responded quietly.
âwhats your name?â he asked
ây/n.â i quickly replied.
âhi y/n. iâm ian.â he kindly introduced. âdo you remember much from the past couple days?â
âno.â i told him. âwhereâs dave?â
âdave? you mean your pimp? heâs gone y/n. he was trying to sell you into sex slavery and prostitution a few night ago. my older sister fiona bought you off of him to prevent that.â ian informed me.
âbought?! what the fuck!â i screamed.
âi know everythings kinda foggy and confusing right now but we are going to get everything sorted out. dont worry.â the redhead reassured.
had dave really sold me? what the fuck!
i needed to find a way out of this house and fast. i had no clue what was going on but i knew i wasnât gonna sit around and wait to find out.
suddenly the door swung open again and another man walked in. i instantly recognized him as the man from last night.
âhey.â he said to me as he smirked with a smug expression plastered across his face.
âfiona wants to see you downtairs.â he informed ian.
âk. will you sit with her?â ian responded.
âya of course.â the man replied.
and with that ian left the room leaving me and the other man alone together.
i didnât remember much about last night but i definitely knew what had happened between us.
âyou sleep well?â the man asked me.
âfine.â i said coldly.
âgood.. good.. good.â he rambled âso um im lip. look im not sure if you really remember but uh i was the one who brought you upstairs and put you to bed last night.â
âwe had sex.â i stated bluntly.
he scratched the back of his head in discomfort.
âyea.. uhh⌠we did. look, i donât know how much you remember but i was not in the best head space last night and was really stressed out, so⌠im sorry if i hurt you in any way or upset you at all.â lip apologized.
âi dont really care. im used to it.â i responded harshly.
âoh right the whole prostitution thing.â lip said. âthat uh â that really sucks. im sorry.â
âthanks.â i whispered under my breath so that it was barely audiable.
just then ian entered the room once more and sat down at the foot of the matress i was laying on.
âhavenât eaten yet?â he asked while looking over at lip.
âim not hungry.â i mumbled.
âyou should eat.â ian replied.
âok.â i responded softly.
âwell uh⌠i should be heading to work now.â lip finally chimed in.
âok, ill stay here with y/n.â ian told him before turning back towards me.
âthat ok with you?â he asked.
âyea whatever.â i said.
âok, well uh if you two are good then i should head out.â lip said as he slowly backed out of the room and closed the door behind him.
me and ian looked back at one another as he gestured towards my food.
âcan you gonna eat now?â he asked as i rolled my eyes and reluctantly picked up the tray of food.
2:12pm
âiannnnâ i whined from upstairs.
i had eaten my breakfast and then gone downstairs to watch some tv but came back up about an hour ago to take a nap.
âyes y/n?â he called back as he walked up the stairs.
âcome hereeee.â i yelled as he walked into the room.
âwhats up y/n?â he asked while crossing his arms over his cheast.
âim bored.â i announced while looking up at him with big doe eyes.
âwell what do you wanna do?â ian inquired.
âhmmâŚâ i pretended to think âi want attention.â i said assertively.
i had only known ian for a few hours but he had been very nice and constantly was making sure i was comfortable, which i really appreciated considering all of the assholes ive delth with before.
âyou have my full attention.â ian responded to me sarcastically.
âno. come here.â i said while crossing my arms over my cheast to mimick him.
ian slowly walked closer to the top of the matress and sat down beside my head.
âwhat do you need y/n?â he asked while looking down at me.
âjust sit here with me.â i replied quietly.
âok.â ian mumbled while swinging his legs onto the matress and looking down at me.
âhi.â i whispered while making intense eye contact with the red head.
âhi.â he responed while looking contently into my e/c eyes.
i quickly flipped over onto my stomach and rested my chin on ians left thigh.
âi wanna do somethingggâ i whined.
âwhat is it you wanna do?â he asked while laughing at my childlessnesses.
âi dont know.â i said. âsomething funnnnnâ i giggled while climbing onto ians lap.
ian started laughed hysterically and stroked the back of my hair.
suddenly i felt his entire body stiffin under me and his hands fly to my waist to slightly lift me off of him.
âsorry.â he apologized sincerely. âi cant really control when it happens.â
i looked down to realize why he reacted the way he did. there was a large tent in his grey sweatpants now and he looked around nervously waiting for my response.
âits ok. not your fault.â i said kindly, trying to make him feel better.
slowly ian started lifting me off of his lap more before i stopped him suddenly.
âwhat?â he asked.
âwell⌠um⌠do you need me to take care of that for you?â i replied quietly while avoiding eye contact.
ây/n⌠iâm gay.. i donât mean to make things awkward butâŚâ he started.
âno! i didnât mean like did you need me to take care of that in a romantic way or a hooking up way⌠i meant⌠in a.. professional way. you know?â i asked trying to get my point across.
âwhat do you mean?â ian inquired, clearly still confused.
âi mean⌠its kinda my job.â i said. âi wouldnât mind⌠i mean iâve jerked off way worse guys then you.â
âUSED to be your job.â ian corrected me. âand i donât wanna take advantage of you just cause you used to be a prostitute.â
âyou wouldnât be taking advantage⌠im fine with it. but if you dont want me tooâŚâ i trailed off before slowly taking myself off ians lap.
âwait!â he stopped me.
grabbing my hips and pulling me back down onto his lap he looked into my eyes contently.
âyouâd do this for me just this once?â he asked.
âwe wouldnât need to say anything about it ever again.â i reassured.
ian looked me up and down before slowly nodding his head and grabbing my left hand to guide it towards his sweatpants.
i gently touched his erection through his grey sweatpants and started fiddling with the waist band to pull them down.
i took his boner in my hands and leaned down slowly to wrap my lips around the tip.
ian groaned and threw his head back in pleasure.
i swirled my tounge around the tip of his hard member and started to gradually pump his cock with both hands.
âmhmm y/n that feels so good.â ian moaned.
âi told you im a professional.â i giggled before taking more of him in my mouth.
i had half of his dick down my throat while my hands rapidly pumped the other half.
i continued to speed up the movements of my hands while bobbing my head up and down.
ian had my h/c hair in a loose grip behind my head and was running his other hand up and down my back gently.
he continued to moan in pleasure as i put even more of him into my mouth.
my eyes slowly started tearing up and i felt myself gag around him as i shoved the rest of his cock into my mouth.
âgood girlâ ian praised while i looked up at him.
while making direct eye contact i continued to bob my head back and forth as his moans got louder and louder.
âfuck that feels good.â he groaned.
suddenly i felt ians dick twitch in my mouth and i instantly knew how close he was.
i started to bob my head even faster as tears streamed down my face.
within seconds ian was shooting his load down my throat while i quickly lapped all of the cum that had spilled out of my mouth.
âfuck.â ian muttered as i gently took him out of my mouth.
i stared at him waiting for some sort of further reaction.
âjesus christ that was amazing y/n. come here.â ian said to me while opening his arms and motioning for me to come cuddle up next to him.
i moves back onto his lap and felt his arms wrap around me protectively.
âyou wanna do something fun now?â ian asked me with a raised eyebrow.
âthat wasnât fun?â i asked him cockily.
âhahaha no it definitely was. you are definitely a professional.â he responded while laughing.
âwell good.â i smirked up at him proudly.
and with that ian stroked my hair once more before kissing the top of my head.
âget some more sleep y/n, ok?â he said while looking down.
âok.â i whispered back before closing my eyes and falling asleep in his arms.

The cadets are turned into kids and think you and Levi are their parents (2)
Here is PART 2 of this!
MASTERLIST
â You were mad at them.
Since the cadets turned into kids you were more stressed than usual â between taking care of them all, doing your paperwork in time and helping Hange with theirs, it was a lot. Adding to this, your sleeping hours were cut in half as well due to kids never sleeping. You were overwhelmed and on edge, ready to snap at any moment.
âLevi,â you called him after lunch, âcan you watch over the kids for a few hours? Iâ.â you took a deep breath, âI just have to take a bath and rest a little bit⌠it wonât be long!â
âOf course, take your time.â Levi kissed your forehead before leaving your room.
Levi went to the childrenâs room while you went to relax a bit.
âWhereâs mommy?â Eren asked when Levi came in alone.
âSheâll come later.â
âI want mommy now!â Jean shouted frowning.
âStop whining or she wonât come here at all.â Levi told them which made them all shut up.
They continued to play together when Jean came to Levi. He struggled to climb on the couch but succeeded and sat on Leviâs lap. He turned around so he could face Levi and asked.
âWhen is mommy coming here?â
âI donât know.â Levi answered calmly.
âPlay with us then!â Jean pouted. âCome with us.â Jean stood on Leviâs lap when Levi ignored him.
âNo. Sit down or leave.â Levi told him in a harsh tone. âNo, donât cry.â Leviâs voice softened when he saw Jeanâs tears. âIâll come and play ok? Just⌠donât cry.â Levi stood up with Jean in his arms.
For a few hours, Levi had to play dolls with the kids who were really into it â imagining complex stories, doing voices etc. It was dinner time when they all started to get tired of playing.
âWhereâs mommy?â Armin asked shyly.
âArenât you all hungry?â Levi quickly changed the subject.
âYay!â they all shouted.
âIâll go grab something to eat then, donât move.â Levi ordered before leaving the room.
When Levi left the room, Eren stood up and told the others that he was going to look for you. Sasha, Connie, Mikasa and Armin were against the idea knowing that Levi would not be happy about it, then there was Jean who agreed with Eren.
âFine, weâll leave without you!â Eren opened the door with difficulty.
Mikasa quickly followed Eren and Jean as well as Armin because lately, Armin got the habit of following or imitating Jean. Wherever Jean went, Armin would follow â whatever Jean was doing, Armin would do the same. Jean felt irritated when Armin follow or copied him, but he never said anything. He did once â the first time â and Armin cried which made Jean felt bad and he swore never to make Armin cry again.
âWhere is mommy?â Armin asked.
âI donât know.â Eren said.
âJust go to her room.â Mikasa commented.
They all run to your room and it was not locked. You were trying to sleep in your bed after a few hours of work when you suddenly heard the kids yelling.
âMommy!â Jean yelled, jumping in your bed.
Meanwhile, Levi immediately regretted his decision when he came back to only two kids out of six. He asked them where the rest of them went and Sasha told him that they were looking for you. Levi took them with him and directly went to your room. Armin and Mikasa were clinging onto you while Jean and Eren were shouting and jumping on the bed.
âStop jumping on the bed or youâll break it!â you desperately tried to stop them.
âEren! Jean! Stop.â Levi ordered in a harsh tone which made them immediately stop. âY/N,â Levi said more softly, âare you ok?â
âIs mommy sick?â Sasha asked.
âNo.â you said.
âThen come play us!â Eren shouted.
âStop screaming.â you warned him. âAnd let go of me.â you told Armin and Mikasa but none of them listened to you.
âKids, come here and letâs go.â Levi tried.
âNO!â Eren shouted loudly, âMOMMY! Come play with us!â
âMommy!â Jean joined Eren.
âStop calling me that!â you shouted back which made everyone shut up, âI am not your mother so all of you⌠just â.â you felt tears falling down, âstop.â
âMommy?â Mikasa whispered worried.
âI heard shouting outside.â Erwin came in. âWhatâs happening?â he asked worried.
âTake the kids with you.â Levi said. âAnd close the door please.â
Erwin did not questioned Leviâs request and took the kids with him in his office. None of the kids wanted to leave you, but Erwin easily took them in his arms. Levi walked to you and wrapped his arms around you.
âHey, itâs ok.â Levi murmured. âLetâs sit down.â
Levi brought you to bed and sat next you and let you cry on his shoulder. He would just hold you close to him until you stopped crying.
âI feel like shit.â you sobbed. âThe kids probably hate me by now too.â
âThey donât.â
âDid you hear what I said? Th-theyâre kids! And I- I just yelled at them.â you lamented, âI am the worst mother ever, and theyâre not even my real kids!â
âIâm sure everything will work out.â
Erwin on his way to his office with the children saw Hange and brought them with him. Erwin, with Hangeâs help, tried to cheer the kids up but they would not stop crying â they wanted to be with you and Levi.
âIs mommy going to leave us?â Armin sobbed.
âNo!â Erwin said quickly.
âY/N, she loves you all very much.â Hange said. âBut you have to understand that she was⌠mh⌠very tired and she had a lot of work to do.â
âAnd sometimes,â Erwin continued, âyou just have to let that person alone.â
âWe have to leave mommy?â Connie asked.
âYes,â Hange said, âbut not forever. It would just be for a day so she can rest.â
âIs mommy not going to be our mommy because we made her upset?â Jean asked shyly.
âNo, of course not.â Erwin reassured them. âIâm sure sheâll come back soon.â
Erwin and Hange stayed with the kids until night before Levi came in to put them to bed. Once they cleaned up and changed, they all went to bed without protest.
âOk, Iâll turn off the lights.â Levi walked out.
âDaddy.â Armin called him before he closed the door, âIs mommy not going to say goodnight to us?â
âSheâs n â.â Levi thought about it, âIâll go and ask her.â
Levi came back to your room and you were already laying in bed, comfortably installed under the blanket. Levi sat next to you and rested his head on your stomach.
âThe kids want to see you.â
âArenât they upset?â you worried, putting your hand through his hair.
âNo, theyâre just⌠they want to see you.â
âI should go then.â you stood up. âIâll be right back.â you kissed him before leaving.
You walked very quickly toward the kids room and when you opened the door, you noticed they were all still up even though the lights were off. Sasha was the first one to see you and she jumped out of the bed to hug you.
âHey.â you smiled, kneeling down. âArenât you sleepy?â
âNo.â Sasha smiled.
âLetâs go back to bed alright?â
You sat down on the bed next to all the kids â they were all staring at you, waiting for you to talk first.
âIâm sorry about what happened earlier.â you apologised. âI should never have yelled at you kids.â
âDonât stop being my mommy please.â Eren frowned.
âWeâre sorry mommy.â Jean said with teary eyes.
âNo donât be.â you comforted them, âI love you all very much.â you smiled.
You opened your arms and they all came to hug you, smiling and happy.
â They sleep between you two â captain dad and squad leader mum.
Armin:
Armin had a nightmare about you leaving for an expedition and not coming back to him. He had Levi coming back devastated and not talking to him or anyone. A stranger â someone from your squad â had to tell him the news that you were never coming back. He woke up panicked and ran to your room. You and Levi agreed that the doors to your room would always be opened if there were any problems.
âMommy! Daddy!â Armin came in crying.
âArmin?â Levi woke up. âHey whatâs wrong?â he put Armin between you too.
âWhatâs wrong?â you asked still half asleep.
âMommy!â Armin cried next to you which woke you up instantly.
âWhat happened?â you panicked. âArmin, itâs ok.â you patted his head, âIâm here.â
âYou didnât come back.â Armin sobbed.
âWhat?â you whispered looking at Levi.
âI donât know.â Levi mouthed.
âArmin,â you wiped his tears away, âwhat happened?â
âBad dream.â Armin sobbed harder. âYou were n-not here and daddy was s-sad! An-and he wasnât w-with me!â
âArmin, itâs ok.â you reassured him, âIâm here and daddyâs here too.â
Levi laid on the bed and put Armin next to him. You took the blanket and put it on the three of you and soon enough, Armin calmed down and fell back asleep. In the morning, Armin was found to be sleeping on top of Levi, with his hand resting on Arminâs back so he would not fall.
âThis is too much for my heart.â you whispered to yourself.
Jean:
Jean had been feeling slightly sick for the past couple of days but did not tell anyone. He stayed in bed when it was time to eat dinner and you were worried at first which made you bring him dinner but he was asleep already. You brought back the tray and gave it to the kids who were not against the idea of eating more.
Jean woke up in the middle of the night, still slightly sick and extremely hungry. He discreetly go out of bed and went to your room. When Jean came in, he noticed lights were still on â Levi was still awake, probably working.
âDaddy?â Jean asked timidly. Which startled Levi.
âWhat are you still doing up at this hour?â Levi whispered, scared to wake you up.
âIâm hungry.â Jean admitted.
âCome here.â Levi put away his papers.
Levi took him in his arms and put him on the bed between you two which woke you up.
âMh. Whatâs wrong?â you mumbled.
Jean turned his head toward Levi so he could answer for him.
âJeanâs hungry.â Levi said.
âMh â Iâm up.â you dragged yourself out of bed slowly. âIâm going to bring you some food alright?â you patted Jeanâs head and noticed his forehead was a little hot. âAre you sick Jean?â you asked worried.
âNo.â Jean answered.
âJean, donât lie. Are you sick?â Levi asked again.
âI donât know.â Jean said looking at his hands playing with the blanket.
âJean,â you said softly, âitâs ok. Iâll go and bring some hot tea too alright?â
You went to the kitchen and prepared some food and started to boil some water as well. You took two cups â one for Jean and another for Levi - and poured some water in it with the tea leafs. You put the smashed potatoes and the vegetables on a plate and put everything on a tray before going back to your room. Levi started to feed Jean while you prepared a cold towel for Jean.
âJean, what did you forget earlier?â Levi said when you came back.
âThank you mommy!â Jean smiled.
âYouâre welcome baby.â you smiled back.
When Jean finished eating, Levi offered to cleaned it up while you put Jean to sleep. You thanked him and went back to bed. You put the cold towel on Jeanâs forehead and laid next to him.
âYou can sleep now.â you rest your hand on Jean stomach.
âGood night mommy.â
âGood night.â
âGood night daddy!â Jean said when Levi came back to bed.
Eren:
Just like Armin, Eren had a nightmare that night. When he first woke up, he tried to go back to sleep because he did not want to bother you nor Levi. But after thirty minutes of trying, he went to your bedroom. This time, both of you were asleep.
Eren hesitated a second about whether he should wake you up or not. He quickly decided not to and laid on the floor. Levi woke up not too long after Eren came in because he was thirsty. He only noticed Erenâs presence when he came back from the kitchen.
âY/N.â Levi whispered
âMmh?â
âErenâs on the ground.â
âMh.â you mumbled, âWhat?â you asked again a minutes later â your eyes wide open.
âLook.â Levi pointed at Eren.
âWhat is he doing on the ground?â
âI donât know.â
âBring him here.â you told Levi.
âYou do it.â Levi argued.
âIâll wake him up.â
âAnd I wonât?â
âYou never did when I used to fell asleep in your office.â you reminded him.
âFine.â
Levi miraculously brought Eren on the bed without waking him up and put him between you two. During the night, Eren ended up on Leviâs left side meaning Levi was in the middle. While he had his arms around Eren â so he would not fall â you had yours around Levi.
â Sasha and Connie would often sneak out and sleep with you and Levi.
â Mikasa never did. When she had nightmares she would only hug her teddy bear closer. She was scared to bother you. Once she did wake Sasha up and slept closer to her.
ââââââââââ
Shorter Stories
â Mikasa was known to be always quiet â she was afraid to bother people especially you or Levi. Even when she was hurt, she would stay quiet. Once during a meeting, she accidentality cut herself with a piece of paper. It was Eren, ten minutes later who had to tell you.
âNext time, you tell me immediately ok?â you told Mikasa as you cleaned the cut.
âIâm sorry.â
âWhat for?â
âYou had to leave for me.â Mikasa explained.
âYou are more important than the meeting, so next time just tell me alright?â
Mikasa only nodded and followed you back to the meeting.
â Jean is known to be a mommaâs boy â he would always stay with you and play with you rather than Levi. He often cried when you had to leave without them. He loved to be held by you, he knew how to walk perfectly, but he would rather stay with you.
âStop spoiling him.â Levi would often say to you.
âI canât help it. Jean is adorable!â
When others were watching over the kids, you were the one Jean would be asking for, not Levi which surprised you when Hange came because Jean hurt himself while playing.
âJeanâs at the infirmary â nothing serious though!â Hange quickly added.
âIâll go.â you stood up.
âMhâŚâ Hange stopped you, âhe asked for Levi.â
âAre you sure?â you asked them.
âYes.â
âOh,â you gasped dramatically, âdid you hear that?â
âWhat?â Levi asked ready to leave.
âMy heart being broken by that kid.â you threw yourself back to bed.
When Jean got better, he immediately came back to you. You tried to be mad at Jean â in a playful way â but when you saw him nearly crying, you apologised and let him stay with you.
â The kids were staying with you in the morning, and it was decided that Levi would watch them after lunch because you had work to do with your squad. You were holding Eren in your arms and he refused to let go of you when Levi arrived.
âI want to stay with mommy please!â Eren cried holding onto you.
âEren,â you calmed him down, âI will be back really quick, I promise.â
âNoo!â Eren cried as Levi took him.
Eren was desperately trying to hold your arms, but Levi was swift. Eren leaned over and grabbed your hair and pulled it which made you scream and lose your balance.
âEren!â Levi yelled putting him down. âY/N, are you ok?â he knelt down.
âIâm fine.â you reassured him, âitâs ok.â
âMommy?â Eren hesitated.
âEren,â Levi started, âgo to your room with the others.â but Eren did not move, âright now!â Levi ordered.
âLevi.â you put your hands on his face, âIâm ok.â you turned to Eren who was now crying silently. âEren, itâs ok, Iâm fine.â
ââM sorry mommy!â
âItâs ok, now go with daddy and listen to him ok?â
Eren nodded and took Leviâs hand and left.
âSorry daddy.â Eren sobbed.
âMh.â Levi answered. âDonât ever do that again am I clear?â
âNever!â
ââââââââââ
Short HCs:
â Sashaâs birthday happened that year when they were still kids. You all baked a cake together.
â Connie would often draw pictures of you all as a family during meetings.
â Erwin loved staying with the kids. He would often put them to bed.
â Hange loved the kids too â they would always play with them outside with Moblit, Mike and Nanaba.

Could you write a Draco Malfoy x Slytherin !Potter!reader. Y/N and Draco have been dating since first year but havenât told anyone because people think she might be the only âgood slytherinâ and to prevent Harry from freaking out they stay quiet till the Quitage World Cup where she goes with Draco and his father and spent the summer with them rather than the weasles . Pansy and Blaise know about Y/N and Draco because the 4 of them became best friends through the years (and reader wonât be only friends with Harryâs friends) . Harry and Y/N get into an argument when they return to Hogwarts the summer of the Triwizard cup and how sheâs a traitor (EVEN tho thatâs her house) and a disgrace for being with him. So she accepted that and that he hates her so she spends the next year mainly with her house giving the trio the cold shoulder and when the war happened draco and his mother protected her and hid her so Harry was looking for her that time but she was gon so after the war the 4 (Draco Pansy and blasĂŠ) walk into the great hall and the golden trio see that Y/N is engaged to Draco and Harry just apologizes and they catch up after all those years.
The Potter Twins
A/n: This has got to be one of the best requests I've ever seen anyone answer. I'm so gratefully you asked me to write it!! Thank you. Also, I did use lines from the book just to make the story work. I could have probably written a whole series so this is very long, I'm sorry. @loxbbg
"Y/n Potter." Professor McGonagall's shrill voice boomed. Just like that, the whole school's attention was on Y/n.
So many students, so much older than her, all focused on her. Probably, she had only just discovered, because of her last name.
The girl and the boy who lived. Apparently, they were famous.
On their 11th birthday, she hadn't expected a giant wizard man to come and whisk the twins away from the horrible Dursleys. But, he was nice and he knew their parents.
Y/n was always treated better than Harry. Aunt Petunia seemed to love her more, even letting her have a big bedroom.
Hagrid, she found out, had taken them shopping and brought them ice cream. While she thought it was all a hallucination when she was able to run through a wall, she knew something strange was happening.
After that, she had met a redhead, Ron. He was dorky but kind to the siblings. And, he seemed to know a lot about the wizarding world.
Y/n took a few tentative steps before sitting on the stool. She was hyperaware of the fact everyone was watching, not able to keep the blush off her cheeks.
The heavy hat was draped onto her head, weighing her down.
"Hmm, the other Potter. You would do good in Gryffindor." The hat whispered to her, making her widen her eyes. She hadn't expected it to talk. It was an object. How could it possibly talk?
Y/n was amazed at the whole thing. It still felt like a dream. The great hall was phenomenal, and she couldn't wait to explore the castle. It was unreal.
Y/n flicked her eyes to her brother. He was already sitting at the Gryffindor table, smiling at her. She hoped she would get to be with him, even though she didn't grasp the house concept. Plus, he was near the other girl, Hermione.
Hermione seemed to know a lot about wizards, and Y/n wanted to be informed. It was like she had finally discovered her missing part.
"I remember your parents. I think you could do just like them." The hat continued. Y/n kept hoping. Hoping she wouldn't go without Harry. The thought of her parents made her heartache, she knew so little about them, but she had heard so much about them in the last few days.
"Slytherin!" The hat roared. Y/n's eyes instantly widened, looking frantically at her brother. How was it possible? The hat had decided she would do good in Gryffindor. She wanted to be with her brother and Ron and Hermione.
Just like that, the hat was off her head. Y/n was speechless as she wandered over to the Slytherin table. Somehow, they all looked mean.
She hadn't noticed who she sat next to until the boy spoke. "I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." He introduced himself, puffing out his chest proudly.
"Y/n Potter." Y/n introduced, despite knowing he already knew.
"I'm Pansy Parkinson." A girl with short black hair interrupted their conversation. "We're going to be sleeping in the same dorm, do you want to be friends?" She asked. A picture of confidence.
Y/n didn't know what to do but nod. "Yeah."
"Now shove off, Parkinson. We're talking." Draco interrupted the girls.
Y/n looked concerned at Pansy, but she didn't look offended at all. "Don't worry. Dracie and I have been friends since we were kids. He doesn't mean it." She reassured the girl, noticing her surprised look. The nickname made Y/n giggle, recognising the look on Draco's face as disgust.
"We're not friends." Draco joked, stoic face. Pansy hit him on the arm.
Y/n liked them already. She could tell they would be good friends. Plus, they filled the gap she was missing, not having Harry next to her.
Harry managed to get a chance to talk to Y/n after the feast. He quickly wrapped her in his arms, comforting his sister.
"I'm sorry we're not in the same house," Y/n told him, feeling guilty.
Harry shook his head. "It's not your fault. It's that weird hat's."
"It's strange, isn't it?" Y/n giggled, not feeling like crying anymore. "I don't know what so much of this means." She continued, feeling nervous about the whole situation.
"I know." Harry agreed with a nod. "We'll get through it together. I just want to know more about mum and dad, and it's good if we don't have to stay with Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon." Y/n nodded to that. They were horrible people. "We should go to our rooms now. It'll be okay." He comforted her.
She gave him another quick hug. "Thanks, Harry." She told him before turning around to walk off.
"Wait, Y/n!" Harry called, she spun back around to face him. "I've heard Malfoy is bad news, be careful." He warned. Y/n nodded, reassuring him she'd be cautious.
She didn't believe it, though, as she skipped off to the common room.
~
It was only a week into classes when Y/n figured out not everyone at Hogwarts was nicer than the Dursley's. Mainly Professor Snape. For no reason, he seemed to hate Harry. They dissected it later in Hagrid's cottage.
"'S 'cause yeh look like yer mum." Hagrid offered as an explanation. That confused the twins and Ron, who came with them. Hagrid sighed, realising he had to explain it. "Snape loved her, way back, but she married yer dad. He couldn' stand yer dad. Anyway, tha''s all history now. Unfortunately, he's one to hold a grudge. Don' let it bother yeh." He told the children.
Harry just sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "Okay, I'm used to Dudley, anyway." He figured Hogwarts was a lot better than the Dursley's house.
"What about yeh, Y/n, how's Slytherin? They're not pickin' on yeh?" Hagrid asked, switched his attention to the small girl.
"It's alright. I've made lots of friends." Y/n had actually had a rather good week. She'd befriended Pansy and a girl named Daphne. As well as Draco, with who she was very close. That was just in her house. Somehow, she'd managed to sit next to Hermione in a class, Lavender too, and a girl named Hannah Abbot from Hufflepuff.
"Good." Hagrid nodded. "Yeh best be off now." He told them, taking the last sip of his drink.
The 3 of them nodded, getting up and leaving the cottage.
"You know, we've got our first flying lesson next week?" Ron asked the twins, trying to brighten the mood. He could tell they were both thinking about their parents.
Y/n did know. Draco had talked about it nonstop. He was beyond excited.
Harry nodded as well. "I'm not sure I'm going to be any good." He mentioned, lightly blushing.
"I'm sure you'll both be fine. It is in your blood." Ron told them. Y/n and Harry both looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, confused about what he meant. However, he didn't elaborate.
~
Y/n went to watch Harry's first Quidditch practise, despite him telling her not to. He said it was a waste of time when it was just practice. But she was extremely proud of him. She knew their parents would be proud too.
So she hid in the Slytherin bleaches, hoping Harry wouldn't spot her.
It was slightly chilly, the night wind whipping at her skin. That's when she felt the drape on a coat on her shoulder.
Y/n whipped her head around to see who it was, only to be met with the blonde's features. She definitely had a bit of a crush on him. He was cute and the first boy who had ever paid her attention.
Draco took a seat next to her, giving her a smile. "Hi." He whispered.
"Hi, Dray." It was a nickname she had quickly picked up, noticing how it made him blush. "You don't have to sit out here." She assured him.
"I want to," Draco confirmed.
Y/n knew he was jealous. Draco had done nothing but talk about how much he loved Quidditch. And Harry, who he thought was a blood traitor, had gotten all his success. So it was big that he wanted to sit with her.
They watched in silence before Draco spoke. "Did you know Pansy is dating Blaise?" He asked her.
Y/n shook her head rapidly. "I thought she liked you."
Draco stuck his tongue out in disgust. "No, I hope not. I did have a question though..." He trailed off, cheeks heating pink. He was bouncing his knee up and down nervously.
Y/n had never seen him like that. "What is it?" She asked.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Draco asked hesitantly. Y/n immediately nodded, accepting the offer. She had never felt happier and more relieved.
"Of course, Dray." She agreed immediately his face relaxed. Y/n reached over and laced her fingers in his, not concerned about how sweaty his palms were. "We can't tell Harry though." She suddenly realised, remembering her brother's words. Draco had never been kind to any of the Gryffindor's, despite them being her friends.
Draco nodded. "Okay." He accepted. Y/n was very thankful he agreed to her request.
~
3rd year was the most stressful yet, for Y/n. She and Draco were still secretly dating, much to Blaise and Pansy's surprise. They couldn't believe how long it had lasted. But Y/n and Draco were drawn to each other, as friends and lovers.
Summer break was also difficult for Y/n. Aunt Marge's visit had ruined the twins birthday. On top of that, apparently, a psychotic wizard had escaped. The Dursley's didn't understand what that would mean. But Y/n and Harry saw just what dark magic could do to Ginny Weasly last year. It was devastating and powerful.
Y/n ran away with Harry when he blew up Aunt Marge. Aunt Petunia had started being much meaner to her, the older she got. While Y/n didn't know Lily, she thought it might have been the reason Aunt Petunia started shunning her.
So, she stayed at the leaky cauldron with Harry. It was the first time she felt happy to not have parents, there were no rules.
Y/n was hiding something. All the letter her owl, Edwige, was bringing her. All from Draco. She figured Harry was too tied up in his own life to think anything was odd. He probably assumed it was Hermione.
The whole train ride all Harry, Ron and Hermione wanted to talk about was terrifying Sirius Black who was trying to murder the twins.
The train's sudden stop frightened Y/n. As the compartment grew cold, she thought it was Sirius, there to kill them. When the Dementor's bony fingers slide open the door, her heart raced, almost beating out of her chest.
This was it. She was going to die from a faceless ghost. It started to suck the life out of Harry and she froze, not knowing how to help her brother.
Thankfully, the cloaked figure in the corner sprung up, scaring the spirit away.
Y/n rushed to get to Harry, but he had already fainted. He was dazed and confused when he woke, Lupin, as Y/n had come to known, handing him some chocolate.
Once Lupin had re-explained what happened, to Harry, he left.
The Potter twins connection let Y/n feel the fear Harry was in, despite being the braver.
Y/n was more than happy to get off the train, being able to sit next to her boyfriend. The Gryffindor table couldn't see them, so they were free to subtly hold hands.
It didn't feel the same that year. Draco was much darker and meaner. He was mean to Hermione and Hagrid, two of Y/n's companions. She didn't understand it.
Their relationship issues came to a head on the date of Buckbeaks execution. Draco and Y/n didn't agree on the situation but it got worse as she roamed the castle with Harry, Hermione and Ron.
As soon as Y/n saw Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle hiding behind that rock she knew today was going to be her breaking point. She didn't understand why he couldn't just shut his mouth and not say anything.
"Have you ever seen anything quite as pathetic?" said Malfoy. "And heâs supposed to be our teacher!" The look on his face was pure disgust. His eyes flicked up to meet Y/n's, not back down from the remarks he'd made as she stared him down.
It was then she realised it. He cared more about maintaining his arrogant reputation than he did his own girlfriend. The thought broke her heart.
Harry and Ron both marched to him, with Hermione one step ahead. Y/n awkwardly stood there, not knowing how to come between her secret boyfriend and friends.
Hermione got to him first, landing a solid punch to his nose. It was as hard as she could, landing a solid sound.
Draco stumbled back, Crabbe and Goyle rushing to hold him up. He gave Y/n a final look as he ran past her.
Y/n's eyes were already filling with tears. Hermione noticed. "Are you alright?" She asked.
She quickly thought up a lie. "I'm sorry... It's just all of this with Buckbeard is difficult. Can you tell Hagrid I'm really sorry?" She stuttered out, the tears streaming down her cheeks.
They all brought the lie, Harry wrapping her in a hug before they walked off. She stood there and cried for a few minutes, all alone. Like no one in the world cared about her.
It quickly turned to anger, her blood boiling. She stormed off to the Slytherin common room, knowing Draco was too proud to go to the hospital wing.
She found him there, on the couch, Crabbe and Goyle at his side.
"I can't believe Granger," Draco exclaimed, not noticing Y/n. "She's a filthy mudblood I could easily get expelled."
"Tell your father." Goyle prompted. Crabbe and Goyle were the best henchmen, dumb and wanting to cause trouble.
"Goyle, Crabbe, I need to speak to Malfoy," Y/n announced. They didn't understand what she meant. "Alone." They finally understood, scurrying out of the room.
Draco didn't look concerned, his eyes challenging her. "What do you want? Hanging out with your idiot twin, that poor, blood traitor Weaslbee and mudblood Granger." He was just as pissed as Y/n was. Maybe, it was the anger for Granger he was taking out on Y/n.
She couldn't hide it anymore. "We're done." She told him. "I cannot be with you when you hate everyone that loves me."
"Fine." Draco shrugged. "I don't care."
That was the last thing Y/n heard from him as she stormed to her dorm room, a sobbing mess. Pansy quickly wrapped her in a hug, not needing to know what happened.
~
It was the end of term before Y/n even looked in Draco's direction again. She spent all those nights silently sobbing. The slight silver lining was she had gotten much closer to Harry, Hermione and Ron, no longer spending hours with Draco.
He'd trapped her when she was alone in the bleachers, just like he did on their first week.
He didn't place a jacket on her, rather some sunglasses. "Hi." He murmured, hesitantly sitting next to her. Draco was sure Y/n hated him.
"Hey." She replied. The truth was, she missed him. Draco was a part of her, they had grown up in love. They were never meant to fall out of it.
"Enjoying your last day?" Draco asked awkwardly. They felt like they were back in their first year, acting self-consciously.
She nodded, not interested in his small talk. "Yeah, I'm all packed as well." She still refused to look at him.
"I'm sorry." It came tumbling out like he didn't know how to say it. That made her turn her attention to him.
Y/n couldn't help but love him. She never wanted to break up, ever. "Me too." She replied.
Y/n wrapped her arms around him, pulling him in for a hug. He just looked so precious.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Draco asked, the question was phrased differently this time but it still reminded her of the shy first year.
"Yes." Y/n agreed. She had never known heartbreak like being without Draco.
"Also... I want it to be real this time." That made Y/n worry. She didn't want Harry to find out yet. There was no one Harry hated more. "Will you stay with us these holidays? And come to the Quidditch World Cup?" He asked shyly. That was the bashful boy she adored.
So far, Y/n's plans were to go to the Durley's. She'd just lie to them and say she was staying with Pansy. They wouldn't care because they didn't love her.
'Yes." Y/n told him. "I'm terrified to meet your parents." She admitted.
Draco took her hand in his. "Love, you have nothing to worry about." He assured her. In truth, he also had doubts about his father. Y/n was a Potter.
Once they left the bleachers, Y/n went to see Harry. The trio was in the courtyard.
"Oh Y/n, we were looking for you." Ron pipped up as she took a seat next to them. She tried to not blush too much. "Do you want to come to the Quidditch World Cup with us?" He asked. Uh oh.
"I'm really sorry. I told Pansy I'd go with her family." Y/n lied once again. She felt terrible doing it but she had to. Plus, they weren't going to find out.
"That's fine. Are staying with her the whole summer?" Harry asked. Y/n hated to have to nod. She knew they were keeping a brave face on but they were disappointed.
~
Y/n's lie worked. She made it to out of the station with Draco without anyone seeing.
They got in the car and, from there, they travelled to the manor. It was fabulous. Better than she could ever imagine. Pointed towers and perfectly done gardens, she was in another world.
"Hey, it'll be okay," Draco assured her, taking his hand in hers as they made it to the door. She had already met their house-elf, who carried the bags.
Draco knocked on the door, trying to seem brave. Narcissa swung it open, arms wide open to pull Draco in. Y/n admired how close they were. She had seen Narcissa once before when she came to see Draco. They weren't introduced but Y/n admired how elegant she looked.
"Y/n Potter, right?" Narcissa asked once she had let her boy go.
"Yes, Mrs Malfoy. It's a pleasure to meet you." Y/n politely said.
Narcissa giggled, shaking her head. "Don't be silly, you can call me Narcissa." She said before opening her arms up for the girl. She hugged for just as long as she hugged Draco, making Y/n feel very comfortable.
Lucius walked over, making Y/n's heart race.
"Draco." He greeted his son with a handshake, much less warm than his mother.
Then he turned to Y/n, staring down his nose at her. She had never felt as small. "You must be Y/n Potter?" He held out his hand.
"Yes, sir," Y/n replied, shaking his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
Lucius just scowled. Narcissa interrupted the tension. "Come, kids, we can talk in the living room." Just like that, she was part of the family.
~
The Malfoy tent at the Quidditch world cup was impressive. It was grand and dark like the manor.
Her summer with Draco was the best of her life, not that the others were much to compare to. Narcissa was the kindest woman she'd ever know. When she realised Y/n's birthday was the 31st of July, she insisted on throwing a large party.
She let Y/n pick out all the decorations, taking her on a shopping spree to Diagon Alley. Then, they had a spa day and afternoon tea party with Pansy and Daphne and some of Narcissa's friends. As much as she wanted to, Y/n figured it wasn't right to invite Hermione and Ginny.
That night, they had dinner out with the girls, Draco, Theo and Blaise. It was the best day of her life. It only got better when a massive cake was wheeled out, and a cart for of gifts. She was sure it was more than Dudley had ever gotten.
Draco's was the most special. It was a necklace, a traditional Black family one. On it was their initials.
Y/n made sure to stay in contact with Harry, but things had started to slip. She figured he was just busy but she missed him, and their other friends.
It was difficult for Y/n to get along with Lucius, knowing how close he was to Voldemort, the man who was trying to kill her. Somehow, they just didn't talk about it.
"Are you ready to go?" Draco asked, adjusting his black blazer. She couldn't believe how good he looked, a full black suit. His blonde hair parted in the middle. He had grown into his looks majorly over the summer.
"Yeah." Y/n nodded, putting her last earing in. They were a gift from Narcissa, real emeralds. She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach she was trying to shake off as anticipation.
"Okay, Mum has already gone to our box. We're going in with my Father." He told her, walking over to grab her hand. Physical contact was something the couple had gotten used to. It was no longer awkward.
Y/n took his hand, lacing their fingers as they walked out of the tent. Draco was taller than her now, he hadn't been in first year. His slim thumb traced over her knuckles mindlessly.
Lucius didn't seem to mind the two of them being so close. The sky had darkened, and the crowds were already cheering. While Y/n had never been to a muggle sports game, she thought this was better. It was noisy but spectacular.
Draco and Y/n talked as they walked, him occasionally bumping into her shoulder. It always made her giggle.
When she heard Lucius' cruel voice, she looked back at him. He was looking up. Y/n followed his eye line. The Weasley's. Hermione. Harry.
Her brain stopped working, and she froze. The look on Harry's face was pure fury. He was looking between her and Draco rapidly, but it was obvious. They were holding hands, and they had just been giggling together.
Those smiles were long gone. The atmosphere had immediately blackened.
Lucius' threat to Harry made her wince. Harry didn't even look bothered, just furious at her. Betrayed. It physically hurt her, and she gripped Draco's hand.
The Weasley group turned to walk off so did Lucius. Draco pulled Y/n closer to him, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
"Hey, don't worry. It'll be okay. Harry will calm down." Draco told her. She just hoped it was true. Harry didn't like to be deceived, and she had lied so much. Plus, Draco was never nice to Harry, Hermione and Ron. They probably hated her by association. "My father really shouldn't have said that." He grimaced. That's made her confident in her decision. Draco had changed.
Y/n nodded, trying to choke back the tears welling in her eyes. "Yeah, I know."
Draco stopped in the middle of the bridge. He took her face in his hands. "Hey, I love you." He reminded her before leaning down to kiss her. It was soft and filled her back up with warmth, making the chilling look Harry had sent her go away. She just hoped Harry still loved her.
Y/n tried to put Harry in the back of her mind the rest of the break. She did write him a few letters, but he didn't reply.
~
Harry was too busy to talk to Y/n on the first day of school. She hoped Hermione and Ron weren't giving her the cold shoulder, but they did.
So she spent the welcome feast with Pansy and Daphne. And, of course, her boyfriend.
He confronted her on the second day of school.
Y/n was in the courtyard when Draco and Harry had their quarrel. She always knew Draco was short-tempered, but she couldn't believe the things he was saying to Harry about their mother.
Y/n's shock grew when Harry spat back, knocking Narcissa. He didn't know her like she did. Narcissa had been nothing but kind to Y/n. That was when she knew she couldn't let Harry get away with it.
"Harry!" Y/n yelled, his attention flicked to her. His eyes were even more outraged than they were with Draco.
"What do you want, traitor?" Harry demanded, his voice was angry too.
"You can't say those things about Narcissa," Y/n demanded. Now she knew how mad Draco felt. Her jaw was clenched like her fits. "And, I'm not a traitor. I'm a Slytherin, that wasn't my choice."
Harry rolled his eyes and huffed. "You're sickening. Did you not hear what he said about our mother!?" He lectured her. "I don't know how you could be with someone so vile."
"Draco isn't who you think he is." Y/n defended. Draco loved her. He'd never given up on her like Harry had.
"He hates you!" Harry spat. He was closer to her now, towering over her. She had never seen anyone that mad. "You're not a Potter. You don't belong in our family." He said so lowly it made her shiver.
Harry was so close she thought he was going to hit her. That's when Draco jumped in the middle of the twins, pushing Harry back and shielding Y/n.
"Watch it, Potter." Draco threatened, glaring down at Harry. He was only an inch taller.
Harry scoffed, fists clench, ready for a fight. He looked around Draco, at Y/n. "Mum and Dad would have despised you. You're just like all those other awful Slytherins. I don't understand how you could be with someone as low as Malfoy." His words sat deep in her heart, and he didn't stop them from coming. "You're not a Potter." With that, he left, not looking back.
Y/n immediately burst out in tears. She couldn't stop it. Draco spun around to her, holding her so she wouldn't collapse.
"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay." Draco told her, wrapping her in his arms so tightly. He just held her. "You know they would be proud of you, Y/n. You're so strong and clever." He comforted her, his hands stroking her back.
Y/n shook her head. "No, I'm a Slytherin. They were all brave Gryffindors." She choked out.
"It doesn't matter what house you're in. You're so kind and talented." Draco reassured her. His heart was breaking, seeing his girlfriend in such a bad state. All he wanted to do was stop her from hurting. "I know how important Harry is to you. We can take a break until this all blows over." He reassured her.
Y/n shook her head, clinging to her chest. "No, no, please, Dray." She said as she cried out. "You're the last good thing I have left."
"Baby." He cooed, tracing her cheekbones. "I'll never leave you." He promised.
~
Draco stayed true to his word. He supported her throughout the whole year. Y/n was always worried for Harry. Despite the shunning, he inflicted on her.
It didn't stop with Harry. Y/n lost half of her friends that day. Hermione, the Weasley's and most muggle-borns refused to talk to her. She was always so kind that it troubled her.
Draco took her to the Yule ball, naturally. She saw Harry that night. They even made eye contact, but he didn't comment on her forest green dress. It matched her eyes perfectly, though, and Harry couldn't stop thinking about one photo of his mother he'd seen. They looked so similar.
She spent the Christmas break at the Malfoy's, receiving a sweater from Molly Weasley. That meant the world to her, despite none of them speaking to her.
When they got back to Hogwarts, Y/n figured out how irrelevant she was to Harry. Ron was the one that was taken for the second task. Everyone noticed. Not his own twin, his friend.
Y/n still remained close with Sirius. They wrote letters to each other throughout the year. He knew how worried she was about Harry.
The truth was, Sirius felt bad, James and Lily were his best friends and he knew they'd be disappointed to see the twins split up. Sirius was also worried for Y/n, he knew what it was like being part of the Black family.
He had hatched a few plans to get them to talk, but none worked. Not due to Y/n's lack of trying.
The third task was the worst thing Y/n had been through at Hogwarts. She could feel something bad was happening to Harry. When he came back through the portkey, she saw it. And it was distressing.
Voldermort was reborn, whether everyone believed it or not. Y/n could feel it was true.
~
5th year was exciting.
Y/n celebrated her 15th birthday before it started. This time, they had dinner with her friends. She didn't write to Harry.
Sirius sent her gifts, and he was starting to ask whether Narcissa was okay.
Just after her birthday, in August, Draco Malfoy and Y/n Potter were made prefects. They both read the letters at the breakfast table.
Narcissa was overjoyed for both of them.
At 11am, on the 1st of September, they got on the train to Hogwarts.
The rest of that year went on normally, apart from Umbridge's rules.
Christmas break was a sign that a darker power was brewing. Y/n heard the whispers under the door and she assumed the other side of the war also had meetings.
Y/n was shocked when Death Eaters escaped from Azkaban. After the Umbridge drama died down, they had to sit their O.W.L.s. That was rough.
One terrible day of June was Sirius' last. Y/n cried in Draco's arms for days over the death. She always thought Sirius was the only person who was going to be able to reunite the twins. And now he was gone.
~
Y/n knew something was very wrong during the summer. Draco told her he was a death eater. They cried about it together all night. The weeks following were stressful, and they weren't even back at Hogwarts. The war had started.
Draco and Narcissa kept Y/n hidden from Lucius' guests. O.W.L results were the first good thing that summer.
Y/n's 16th birthday was smaller than her last. Y/n, Draco, Pansy, Blaise and Theo were all hyperaware of the dementor attacks.
That weekend, they visited Diagon Alley with Narcissa. Y/n was at Draco's side the whole time, unfortunately, that meant she had a run-in with Harry and the Weasleys. It was awkward, to say the least. Her own twin still wouldn't acknowledge her.
Draco's task started at the beginning of the year. Y/n was the only one who knew about it, besides Snape.
Then Christmas, with even more death eater meetings. Y/n barely saw Draco. Narcissa had made her promise to take care of him, but it was difficult to get him to eat.
Draco continued his task during the second semester. Y/n knew that Harry knew about Draco. Their twin insight gave him the power to just know things.
It was getting difficult between Y/n and Draco. They didn't talk as honestly as they used to. He wanted to protect her. And she knew he needed to open up.
One day in May, Y/n rushed to see Draco in the hospital wing, concerned about how he could have gotten there. Did something go wrong with the vanishing cabinet?
"Draco!" She cried as she saw him lying on a hospital bed looking pale.
Draco waved at her, a little smile on his face.
"Potter." Snape hissed, looking down at the girl. Y/n didn't care he was there as she wrapped her arms around Draco. Snape was nicer to Y/n this year, which she didn't understand.
From a photo Sirius had given her, she knew she looked more like Lily than ever. She always kept the picture near her. It was the Potter parents holding up their twins, smiling.
"He's fine," Snape told her. "As for your brother, he's going to be in huge trouble." He continued before walking out of the hospital wing.
"What happened?" Y/n demanded, holding Draco's face in her hands. His cheekbones were more prominent now, and his eyes were more overcast.
Draco playfully huffed. "I was, uh, in the bathroom. Potter came in and used the bloody Sectumsempra spell on me." He complained, his eyes now angrier. She couldn't believe Harry would do something like that. But, then again, she didn't really know him.
Y/n noticed the way his voice faded when he talked about where he was. "Why were you in the bathroom?" She knew him well enough to push for an answer."
"Uh, talking." Draco offered an explanation. It wasn't good enough for Y/n to accept.
"To who?" She asked.
Draco groaned, rolling his eyes. He finally gave in. "Fine, I was crying to Moaning Myrtle." He admitted. His cheeks were pink with blush and he looked guilty.
"Dray." Y/n cooed, reaching down to hold his hand. "You can talk to me about anything you need to, any time." She assured him.
Draco nodded, thankfully. "He's going to get detention for the rest of the year." He told her, a self-satisfied smirk on his lips.
Narcissa was one of the last people Y/n expected to see walk into the Hospital Wing. She was in a black pantsuit.
"Mother." Draco greeted her, trying to move in the bed to get up.
"Stay put, you," Narcissa told him with a smile. She walked right over and hugged Y/n. "Are you okay?" She asked. Y/n just nodded. She knew a storm was brewing, but nothing had happened yet. It was only a matter of time. Then she turned to Draco. "Are you?" She asked him.
Draco already had a witty reply, clearly feeling like himself again. "Aside from my own mother preferring my girlfriend to me." He complained, a faux pout on his face.
Narcissa just rolled her eyes, like mother like son. "I can't help it. You get into too much trouble." She told him with a pointed look.
Draco scoffed. "Wasn't my fault." He complained quietly. The girls just gave him a look he knew too well. "Honestly, what are you doing here?" He asked. When Narcissa widened her eyes, he followed the question up with a statement. "Not that I'm not pleased to see you."
"I've actually come for Y/n." She explained.
Both Y/n and Draco looked at her in shock. "What? Why?" Y/n asked, most concerned.
Narcissa looked to Draco who sighed out an 'oh' and then back to Y/n before speaking. "You know about the cabinet." Y/n nodded. "They need it. The Death Eaters. To get into Hogwarts." That made Y/n worry. They weren't coming in to have dinner.
"You don't know this." Draco started, making Y/n's attention turn to him. "My task is to kill Dumbledore." Y/n's mouth gawked open. She could feel her hands shaking. More than anything, she couldn't believe someone would make a kid do that.
Narcissa grimaced. "It's all about to start." Y/n didn't need to ask what 'it' was. "So I'm taking Y/n away." She told them.
"Wait... for how long?" Draco asked quickly, gripping her hand.
"Draco, you sit in those meetings," Narcissa told him. "You know the plan is for them to take over the Ministry of Magic and persecute muggle-borns." That made Y/n wince. "It's not safe for Y/n to stay at Hogwarts, don't be silly about this." She strictly told him.
Draco sighed but nodded. He knew Narcissa was always right. "Can I still see her?" He asked, now thinking rationally. Y/n didn't like that she didn't have any say in the matter.
"Yes." At least there was that. "No one is going to know where she is apart from Lucius, you and I," Narcissa told them.
"Do I get any say in this?" Y/n finally spat out.
Narcissa turned her attention to Y/n with a pleading look. "You know we have to."
"I've still got a month of school left," Y/n argued.
"I know and I'm sorry we have to do this." Narcissa apologised. "It's all going to happen next month."
"Can't I stay until then?" Y/n asked.
Narcissa shook her head. "I promise you, if I thought you could, I would let you. You're a big part of what you-know-who wants, Harry more, but you must stay far away from this." She told her.
Y/n couldn't not agree. "Alright. We're leaving now?" She asked.
"Yes," Narcissa told her. "All of your things have been packed. Draco can come and see you once it's over." She promised.
Draco wrapped his arms around Y/n as he kissed her. It was one of the things she knew she was going to miss. She also knew it was time to go.
"Bye, I love you," Draco told her, waving from his hospital bed.
"I love you too," Y/n replied before walking out of the wing with Narcissa.
From there, they went out a secret passage, making sure no one saw. Professor Snape knew Y/n had to go, so he was coming up with the cover story.
Narcissa and Y/n finally reached a Slytherin scarf, which took them to a house she'd never been to. "Where are we?" Y/n asked, still holding on to the portkey.
"The South of England," Narcissa told her, making her brows furrow and eyes widen. "It's an old Black family house." She explained, opening the door. It was just as grand as the Manor, smaller, though.
Inside it looked just as gorgeous. All the decor was French country vintage. It screamed old money.
"It's beautiful," Y/n told Narcissa, having a look around the inside. There was so much light streaming into the room with wooden details.
"I'll make some tea. Your room is on the second floor, first door." Narcissa told her. Y/n nodded, walking up the stairs to find the room. It was decorated like royalty belonged there. There was a massive window that looked right out onto the coast.
It was then she realised the house was on a cliff. Y/n hadn't seen it from the angle the entryway was at. But it was spectacular. Lonely.
Y/n could spend her whole life there. She set her bags down and strolled around the room. It was smaller than Draco's was, at the manor. But it was much lighter. Almost the complete opposite of the Malfoy family home.
Once she had finished looking around, she went back downstairs to see Narcissa setting tea up on the coffee table. When she walked into the living room she saw the massive windows, showing the ocean.
"Sit," Narcissa commanded and Y/n did so right away. She poured tea for both of them before also sitting down. They sat in silence for a while, Y/n not knowing what to say. "I can tell you have questions." Narcissa prompted.
"Why is Snape protecting Draco and I?" Y/n asked quickly.
Narcissa sighed before answering. "Do you know what an Unbreakable Vow is?" She asked, and Y/n nodded. "Severus and I made one. He vowed to watch over Draco." Y/n nodded again. That vow must have expended to Y/n.
Y/n suddenly had more questions. "You need a Bonder, right?"
"Yes, Bellatrix was ours," Narcissa replied. Y/n was familiar with Draco's strange aunt. They had never met, out of Bellatrix's loyalty to Voldermort.
"Are you going to stay here with me?" She asked, concerned about being alone.
Narcissa shook her head. "I'm sorry. I can only be here sometimes. The story is you ran away, and no one knows where you are, so I can't be here too much." Y/n didn't know that before. Everyone was going to think she'd left by choice. Pansy, Daphne, Blaise, Theo. Harry, if he cared. She knew none of them were going to be able to know why she was gone.
"Am I safe here?" Y/n asked, now worrying about how she would be safe alone. The tea they were sipping seemed to calm her down.
"Yes, there are charms on the house so no one can get in. But, I'm also giving you this." Narcissa stopped what she was saying and pulled out a necklace. It was a heart-shaped gold locket. Narcissa placed it in her hand. Y/n looked at it. That's when she noticed the initials on it. Draco's and hers.
Y/n thanked her. "That's not it. If you open it like this." Narcissa instructed, opening the heart. Y/n noticed the emerald gemstone. "This stone is a portkey, right to the Manor." So Y/n would be able to get back to the Manor.
"I can't thank you enough, and I don't want to intrude, but I do have a personal question." Y/n was hesitant about what she was going to ask. But she needed to know. "You said before, in the hospital wing, that Mr Malfoy knew where I was staying. And I have a lot of respect for him, so I don't want this to come off badly." Y/n could tell she was rambling. Narcissa could as well, she slid a hand onto Y/n's to calm her down. "Why is it safe for him to know? He's you-know-who's number 2. Eventually, he's going to want me dead." It broke Y/n's heart, she knew it was going to ruin Draco's life. But, his father was going to have to kill her.
"Slow down." Narcissa smiled softly. That comforted Y/n a little. "Do you remember when we met, the summer before the World Cup?" She asked. Y/n nodded in agreement, not sure where it was going. "The night we met you, I knew. I knew Draco was in love with you. And, I knew Voldermort was going to come back and try to kill the Potter twins." Y/n's heart started to race at the mention of her parents' death. "I made Lucius make an unbreakable vow. Snape was the Bonder." Oh, it made sense. Lucius couldn't hurt Y/n, Narcissa had protected her.
She just didn't understand why so she asked. "Why? I mean, I appreciate it more than anything. But you risked your whole marriage." It was true, and Narcissa knew that.
"I've never thought you or Harry should be persecuted. My parents raised me as pureblood supremacists, but killing is wrong." Narcissa told her. Y/n was thankful for her honesty. She filled the place Lily had left, and Petunia hadn't tried to fill. "I love Draco, more than anything in the world. The only thing I've ever wanted is to see him happy. I knew he was happy with you." Y/n understood Narcissa's unconditional love for Draco, she felt the same.
"He's lucky to have you," Y/n mentioned, trying not to think about her parents.
"I don't know if I've ever told you this, but I'm very sorry about your parents," Narcissa told her. Y/n could feel the tears in her eyes.
She let a few of them fall. "Did you, uh, know them?"
"My last two years at Hogwarts, they were there. James was only 11 but he was loud and brave. He would even stand up to me with Sirius." Hearing both their names made Y/n cry more. She was crying for the dad she never knew, and the uncle she only had for a short time. "I noticed you at Hogwarts, I think during second year, and I had deja vu. You looked so similar to Lily. She always wore her hair just like you did." Y/n remembered seeing Narcissa but she didn't remember Narcissa seeing her.
"Would they be disappointed in me?" Y/n couldn't help but ask. Narcissa felt her pain, running deep. She immediately wrapped the girl in a hug, letting her cry.
"No, never for a moment." She confirmed. "I know it's not the same, but I'm proud of you." It wasn't the same, but it meant just as much.
"Thank you." Y/n thanked her again.
"No thanks are necessary. I should go back though." Narcissa stated, looking at her watch.
Y/n nodded, gently opening the necklace so she wouldn't touch the emerald. Narcissa held it, and just like that, she was gone.
Y/n found a good amount of things to do. There were movies and music. She still had some of her textbooks. Plus, exploring the house was fun.
But she did miss Draco. And the rest of her friends. Instead of using an owl, she decided to send letters by muggle post to the Malfoy residence, so Narcissa could send them to Hogwarts.
~
There was a knock on the door a couple of weeks after Y/n moved in.
She peaked out the window before seeing a tuff of blonde hair. It was Draco.
Quickly, she swung the door open, embarrassing him in her arms.
Draco hugged her back, lifting her off the ground and twirling her around.
"Dray, I missed you." She cooed, head buried in his shoulder.
"I missed you too, my girl." He replied, pulling her even closer. It was so tight she felt like she couldn't breathe.
When she pulled back, she had a thought. "How did you manage to come? Don't you have classes?"
Draco shook his head. "Quidditch match. It's Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw, so I came here instead." Y/n was very grateful for Quidditch that day.
They only had a few hours before people would notice he was gone. But they baked cookies together while Draco filled her in on everything she'd missed. As well as lots of kissing.
When it came time for him to leave, she was upset. But Draco made her promise not to cry.
~
Draco came back after the battle of the tower. Y/n knew there was something wrong. He didn't grin as wide when he met her at the beach.
There were already tears forming in his eyes, and it was late.
"Dray, talk to me, baby." Y/n pleaded as they lay together on the couch. It was far past midnight. Y/n was on Draco's chest and they were a tangle of limbs. She had her fingers running through his hair.
Draco sighed. "I couldn't do it." He sobbed out. "I couldn't kill him. Snape had to do it. It was so horrible, Y/n." He continued, tears still falling. "My father was so mad. He cares more about appeasing Voldermort than me." Y/n's heart clenched as she heard his words.
"Draco, he loves you." Y/n tried to reassure him.
Draco tried to accept it, but it was difficult. "I'm scared for what's going to happen." He told her.
"Me too," Y/n admitted. "How's it all going to end?" She asked him.
The truth was Draco didn't know. And she knew that. "They're talking over the Manor." He didn't want to be the one telling her the bad news. "They're going to go after anyone and everyone associated with Muggleborns. I'm not going to get to be here much." He hesitantly admitted.
"You've done what they needed you to do, though!" Y/n exclaimed, feeling outraged.
"I know. I'm not sure what they're going to do with me. Father lectured me and I just came here." Draco explained. It reassured her there might be some hope he could spend the summer there. "It'll be okay, Y/n."
She tried to retain that. "Can you come back on my birthday, at least?" Y/n asked.
"Of course, baby." Draco quickly replied. That brought Y/n some relief.
~
Draco was busy a lot of the summer. Despite having completed the task he was given, he was still Lucius's son.
He told Y/n all about how the Manor had been taken over by death eaters. It worried her. She also spent a lot of time worried about Harry. He was the only blood connection she had left in the world, and she had no idea where he was.
Draco came back on her birthday like he promised. He had more flowers than she'd ever seen in her life. That wasn't where the gifts ended. Jewellery, new shoes, perfume and a big cake.
Narcissa made it as well for dinner. She even insisted Draco stay the night.
By nighttime, they were lying in bed together. Draco's arms wrapped around her tightly. As usual, she lay against his chest. Draco stroking her hair.
When she looked up at him, she knew something was wrong. After all their years together, she could read him like a book. "What is it?"
"What do you mean?" He asked. His voice was a slightly higher pitch. Y/n recognised that as a sign he was hiding something.
"I can tell something bothering you," Y/n explained. "Let me in, Dray." She pleaded.
Draco knew he had to. "I have to leave early tomorrow morning."
Y/n knew that wasn't it. "I need the whole truth." Draco groaned, knowing she knew him better than he knew himself.
"I have to go early so I can be at the takeover of the ministry," Draco revealed to her. "They're going after Scrimgeour because he knows where Harry is." Oh. That wasn't good. Either the minister would give up Harry's location, and her twin brother would be killed. Or, the Ministry of Magic would be run by Death Eaters. Either way, their power was growing. Y/n knew Harry only had a matter of time. Then she would be next.
"So, no one knows where Harry is?" Y/n asked hopefully. Even if he hated her, she would rather he was alive.
Draco shook his head. "He's hunting the Horcruxes, I'd guess. Scrimgeour knows and maybe a few members of the Ministry." That made Y/n relieved, although she wasn't sure how good Harry's survival skills were.
"Am I going to be okay?" Y/n asked, fearing the worst.
Draco took a deep breath as he prepared an answer. "I'm never going to let him get to you, I promise. My Father's vow will make sure he can't either. No one else knows you're here." He reassured her. Y/n just hoped it was true, Draco could read that.
"So you're going back to Hogwarts?" Y/n couldn't help but ask.
Draco nodded. "I think Snape is going to be appointed Headmaster. I'll be safe there." That reassured Y/n to no end. He chuckled slightly, a smile on his face. "We were going to be Head boy and girl." He explained. Y/n's face dropped as she tried not to cry. "Hey, hey, hey." Draco noticed. "It's just the way it happened."
"I know." She nodded. "It just could have been the best year ever."
"When this is all over, we're going to have the best year." He assured her. Y/n tried to hang onto that.
It got difficult the further the year dragged on. Y/n barely saw Draco. She did receive letters about how horrible things had gotten. Hogwarts was gloomier, no one could find Harry, Snape's regime was intense. Y/n was thankful she was away from the whole mess.
Just before Christmas, she found out Luna Lovegood had been kidnapped. Draco had started to detest the cause he was fighting for. He never said so, but she could infer it from what he wrote.
In March, she discovered Harry had been captured. Draco was the one who had to identify him, and he felt horrible about it. He cried on her shoulder, begging her to forgive him when he came to see her. Y/n was never mad at Draco. She was smart enough to know he had to do it. And, deep down, she could feel that Harry was okay.
Draco was in a worse state when they escaped. Not because he wanted Harry to be killed. Because his own aunt had murdered Dobby. While he was taught to hate the house-elves, Dobby was almost his younger sibling.
All Draco could feel was split, unsure of what to do.
Draco told her it was all going to happen on May 1st. The battle of Hogwarts. Y/n spent the whole day riddled with anxiety. She spent a whole 3 days wide awake, waiting for news.
She felt a cursing pain through her head at some point on the 2nd of May. Then the visions started, of Harry and Dumbledore at a train station. She realised she was seeing inside Harry's vision. When he made the choice to return to his body, Y/n knew everything would be alright.
Y/n anxious sat on the couch until 3 people appeared. It was only the early hours of the morning. She immediately ran to Draco wrapping her arms around him. He was unkempt, and his hair was a mess. He hugged her back, pulling her into his chest. She had never seen him looking as disturbed.
"What happened?" Y/n asked, turning to give Narcissa a hug. Much to her surprise, Lucius shook her hand. It was the first time they'd ever done something like that.
"We left," Lucius told her. That was also the first time he'd ever properly talked to her. She didn't understand.
They explained it all to her. How Harry sacrificed himself, how he died, more importantly how Narcissa discovered he was alive. Y/n hung on every word as Narcissa told her how she had lied to Voldermort. She also told Y/n Harry asked if she was still alive. Harry still cared about her.
By that point Draco, Narcissa and Y/n were all crying.
The sun had just started rising when Y/n realised it.
Suddenly, she had a massive headache. The kind she knew Harry used to have. And she knew what it meant.
"Voldermort's dead," Y/n announced, causing all of their eyes to widen. "I just know. I can feel it. Harry killed him." She felt more connected to Harry than she had in years, but she knew.
There were no words any of them said as they hugged. She could feel her head beating rapidly, the same as Draco's.
"Who died?" Y/n finally asked the question she was terrified to ask. Harry was the only one she knew was alive from the good side.
"Bellatrix." Narcissa sobbed out, Lucius immediately pulling her into a hug. It was one of the first times Y/n had seen them acting so intimately.
Draco continued giving Y/n the list. Every second felt like an hour as she hoped none of her friends died. "Fred Weasley." She could only think about the heartbreak that would have caused her brother and his friends. "Snape too." Draco let a few tears fall and Y/n rushed to wipe them. "Lupin and Tonks." Lupin was the last person alive who really knew her parents. Now her chances of knowing about them were over. "There were a lot of others too but everyone else we are close to is okay."
"Good." Y/n nodded before wrapping him in a hug. They stayed like that for a few minutes. Both couples holding each other, all feeling extremely grateful.
"We should go back home," Narcissa told them, glancing at the clock on the wall. "We'll have breakfast." She promised.
Draco enthusiastically nodded. "I'm starving." He mentioned.
Narcissa reached out to grab his hand. "You haven't eaten in days."
Y/n quickly turned her attention to Draco. "Dray." She told him, hitting his arm. "You can't do that."
"I won't, ever again." He promised, his hand wrapping around her waist. "As long as you're there to cook for me." He cheekily quipped, looking at Y/n with a grin. It was the first one she had seen in a while.
Narcissa and Lucius both laughed at the younger couple who reminded them of themselves. "You're dreaming," Y/n replied, bumping into his shoulder. Y/n opened her necklace.
Narcissa, Draco, Lucius and Y/n all touched the emerald. Just like that, they arrived in the Manor living room. It was like Y/n remembered, still as dark. She did feel better about being there, knowing no death eaters were trying to kill her brother.
Over pancakes, they laughed and talked. The world finally felt peaceful again. It was the first time Y/n had been happy in weeks.
An owl knocked at the window, around midday and Y/n took the two letters out of its mouth.
"Dray." She told him, handing his one over to him. "It's from Hogwarts." She told Narcissa and Lucius. They both opened their letters and read them. "In June, they're having an end of year feast," Y/n explained.
"So, we've got a month off school?" Draco looked thrilled by the news.
Narcissa chuckled. "What does it say about your exams?" She asked.
Draco read further down. "Mine says my grades from last year will be considered my grades for this year and I can become an Aurora. Or I can go back to Hogwarts." There was hopefulness in his voice Y/n had missed.
"Draco!" Narcissa cheered, jumping up to hug him. "Congratulations."
"Mine says the same." Y/n realised. "But how is that possible?" She asked, looking at Narcissa.
"I'm not sure." The woman replied, looking just as confused.
"I may have a few words with the acting Ministry when Voldermort was in charge," Lucius reported. All 3 of them were shocked by the confession.
Y/n was overcome with appreciation. "Thank you, sir."
"Please, Lucius is fine." That surprised Y/n but it was nice to hear he might not have hated her as much as she thought. It was the first time Y/n had seen a smile on his face. "What are you two planning on doing with your time off?" He asked the younger couple.
Draco and Y/n met each other's eyes, they hadn't thought about it. "What are we meant to do?" Draco asked.
"The house on the cliff is empty, if you want to spend more time there, Y/n," Narcissa mentioned. Draco grinned widely, nodding his head. He accepted the offer. "Slow down, Y/n?" Narcissa asked, turning her attention to Y/n.
"Yes, I'd love to. Thank you." Y/n affirmed her boyfriend's acceptance.
"When can we go?" Draco asked.
Lucius chuckled. "You don't want to spend time with your parents, son?" He joked. Another first. "You're going of age now, Draco. Y/n too. I think you've both earned the privilege of being treated like adults." He told them.
"You have to be back for your birthday, Draco. We're going to throw a party." Narcissa instructed, raising her eyebrows at him.
"So I'm not an adult?" Draco quipped back.
Narcissa turned to Y/n. "Will you make sure he comes back?" Y/n nodded. "Then you are both free to leave after I get a hug." She informed them, opening her arms up. Draco hugged her first, standing much taller than her.
Then he left to get his stuff. Lucius followed him up the stairs. Y/n walked over to Narcissa, embracing her.
"Thank you, for everything." Y/n mentioned in her arms.
"It's never a problem, sweetness," Narcissa replied, kissing the girl on the forehead.
~
Y/n and Draco took a different portkey to the house. Both of them were buzzing to have a month together after being apart for so long. They finally felt free and independent.
For a few weeks, they just hung out, reacquainting with each other. They spent time in London, seeing muggle sights and shopping. As well as the small, nearby muggle town. It had the cutest cafe.
Draco and Y/n also hung out with Pansy, Theo and Blaise again. They were all thrilled to see her. She explained the whole situation to them and they completely understood.
Between them, it was like no time was lost.
One summer evening, Draco had insisted on cooking Y/n dinner. He explained it was a date. She was to dress up nice like they were going out. Draco was in a full black suit, matching Y/n's sparkling black dress.
He even set the outdoor table, making Y/n sit there and wait for him to bring out dinner.
It was a pasta dish. The same one Narcissa had made the first time Y/n met the Malfoy family.
"Thank you, Dray," Y/n said as they sat, looking out at the view. The sun was just setting and the whole sky was painted pinks and oranges. In the distance, there was the sound of waves breaking on the cliff.
Draco looked nervous, she hadn't seen him like that for a long time. "Uh, I had a question for you." He stuttered out, cheeks turning pink.
Y/n sent him a soft smile, trying to help him calm down. His nerves were worrying her. What could he possibly ask her? Y/n knew exactly what was about to happen when Draco slid off his chair and down onto one knee. Her hands immediately came over her mouth. Tears were already pricking her eyes. He reached into his back pocket, producing a green velvet box.
"I've, uh, I've thought about doing this for a really long time. When we first met I knew you were the one who was always going to hold a special part of my heart. It was everything about you. I never believed in love at first sight until I met you." Y/n was full-on sobbing at Draco's words. They were the sweetest thing anyone had ever said. "I knew from when I met you that I'd always love you. But I had no idea you'd bear to be around me for long enough. I was kind of insufferable." Y/n and Draco both chuckled. "I'm so grateful I even got the chance to know someone as clever, kind, funny and ambitious as you. Once I'd asked you out, I knew I needed you to be mine forever." Draco let a few tears out, stopping to wipe them. "I've done a lot of stupid things, hurt a lot of people and you're far too good for me, I know that. But, I swear, I'm going to spend every day making it up however I can. I'm going to spend every day making it up to you too. If you let me. I think I knew you before I understood myself. You truly are my best friend and the most important person to me in the world." Neither of them could stop the uncontrollable tears they let out. "So, uh, I've got to ask now. Y/n Potter, will you do me the honours of marrying me?" Draco opened the ring box, revealing a huge diamond ring. It looked vintage and the prettiest thing Y/n had ever seen.
Y/n wiped a few stray tears off her cheeks, leaning down to do that same to Draco. "Yes, Draco. A million times yes." He was grinning as wide as she'd ever seen as he slipped the ring on her finger.
He stood up, holding her face in his hands. "I love you." He told her, leaning down to kiss her gently.
"I love you too," Y/n replied, eyes closed with her forehead intimately pressed against Draco's. When she moved her eyes she looked down at the ring. "It's so beautiful, Dray."
Draco nodded before explaining the story. "It's, um, a Black family heirloom. If Mum, Aunt Bella or Aunt Andromeda were boys, they would have gotten it. Luckily for me, it skipped a generation."
"It's stunning." Y/n leant back up to place a kiss on his lips. "Now, what have you cooked for dessert?" She asked, giggling lightly.
Draco rolled his eyes. "Your favourite, of course, but only because you said yes." He revelled.
~
Y/n woke Draco up on his birthday with an assortment of gifts. After they ate breakfast and unwrapped presents, they went to the Manor.
Y/n knocked on the door happily. Draco's left hand entwined with her right one. Narcissa swung it open and embarrassed Y/n in an enthusiastic hug. She quickly grabbed Y/n's left hand, looking at the ring.
"I knew it would look perfect on you," Narcissa mentioned, tracing over the ring. Y/n grinned at her.
"It is perfect," Y/n said, grinning at Draco.
"You're perfect." Draco simply replied. Narcissa chuckled at the two of them. "Can I have my hug?" He asked Narcissa.
Narcissa dropped Y/n's hand hesitantly to pull him in. "18 but you're still acting like a petulant child." She joked making Draco pull a face of mock offence. "Happy birthday, Draco."
"Are you keeping them in here, Sissy?" Lucius asked, walking around the corner. Narcissa rolled her eyes at him. "Happy birthday, son." He said, wrapping Draco in a hug. "Y/n." Lucius turned to her.
"Mr Malfoy." Y/n greeted. She thought she was in trouble when he raised his eyebrows and shot her a pointed look. The smile on his lips assured her she wasn't about to be told off. "Lucius." She corrected herself.
Y/n held out a hand to shake his but he shook his head, opening his arms. "You're my future daughter-in-law, come here." He insisted, and Y/n hugged him, trying to avoid showing her shock.
After they had lunch and Draco opened more presents, Pansy, Daphne, Theo, Blaise, other friends and several Malfoy and Black family members came over. It was a phenomenal party.
Pansy raced right over to Y/n, flinging her arms around the girl.
"Hi Pansy, it's actually my birthday." Draco sarcastically greeted her.
Pansy rolled her eyes. "Happy birthday, you big baby." She said, giving him a hug too. "I'm sorry I missed my best friend." Draco faked offence.
Theo, Blaise and Daphne all came to hug the couple as well. Neither Y/n nor Draco had realised they didn't know about the engagement.
They all quickly got flutes of champagne, raising them to toast each Draco.
That's when Pansy saw it. "Oh, Merlin. Is that an engagement ring!?" Pansy shouted, grabbing Y/n's left hand.
Both Y/n and Draco awkwardly laughed. "Yes," Y/n confirmed as Pansy admired the ring, showing Y/n's hand to Daphne and the boys.
"That's not just any ring. That's a Black Family ring." Blaise noticed.
Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. "How did you know that?" She asked, looking back at Draco.
He was blushing pink. "Loverboy, here, has been talking about giving it to you since 1st year," Theo informed Y/n. "He wouldn't shut up about it most nights." Her eyes widened as she looked at a red-faced Draco.
"You never told me that," Y/n mentioned, nudging his chest. Draco groaned, wrapping his arm around Y/n's waist.
"Because it's really embarrassing." Draco quietly stated.
Daphne pattered Draco's arm. "Y/n used to talk about you in her sleep." Daphne declared. That made Y/n's cheeks heat. Draco and the rest of the friend group burst out laughing.
~
It was finally the day of the final Hogwarts feast. Y/n didn't ever think, at 11 years old, it was going to end like this. In 7 years, she had learnt so much more than most people learnt in their lifetime.
"Pans, Blaise." Y/n opened the door of the Black's seaside house to invite Pansy and Blaise in.
Pansy and Blaise were both dressed in formal clothing as they hugged Y/n. She was wearing a deep green dress that matched Draco's suit's tie.
"You look lovely." Pansy complimented her.
"Pansy, look at you!" Y/n returned the compliment, instructing Pansy to do a spin of her silver dress.
"Are we ready to go?" Draco asked, walking down the stairs. He was in a full black suit aside from his green tie. He bro-hugged Blaise and gave Pansy a hug before wrapping an arm around Y/n's waist.
Y/n nodded. "Let's do it."
Y/n hadn't seen how destructed Hogwarts was, but it now looked just like when she left. She couldn't help but feel sad at the tragedy that had occurred a month ago.
"It's odd being back," Pansy spoke what they were all thinking. Everyone gave her a nod of agreement.
The two couples walked into the great hall, hand in hand. Everyone was surprised to see Y/n. They still had no explanation for why she was gone.
Naturally, Y/n's eyes met her brother. She noticed how faded his lightning-bold scar looked. But she didn't go over to him, she just went to her house table.
McGonagall spoke, about the losses they had faced and how good always won in the end. Her speech was inspiring. Everyone was still distraught about the battle, it was evident on their faces.
They ate, laughing at their tables as the sky fell dark. Y/n had missed being at Hogwarts, it was like home to her. The couple finally made their way through the castle to go home when it was late.
"Y/n!" That was a voice she hadn't expected to hear. She hadn't heard him say her name in years. Harry. His voice was much deeper now.
Y/n stopped in her tracks, quickly turned around to look at him. She still looked like she remembered. "Hi." She greeted him, awkwardly rocking on her feet.
"I'll give you a moment," Draco mentioned, unlacing his hand with Y/n's and walking off.
Now, neither of them knew what to say. They were family but so disconnected.
"How are you?" Harry finally asked.
Y/n softly smiled. "I'm alright. And you?"
"Good." Harry stuttered. Silence fell again. "I'm so sorry." He blurted out. "I never should have said the things I did in 4th year. I was so angry about what Malfoy was saying and I couldn't believe it."
Y/n nodded. "I know, Harry, you don't need to explain it or be sorry."
"No, I do. I shouldn't have refused to talk to you for 3 years. It was childish and hurt you." Harry insisted. It made Y/n feel like the weight was off her shoulders. A weight she had been hauling for years. "I looked for you when I left Hogwarts for a whole year."
That was new information but it warmed Y/n's heart. "Harry, I had no idea." She replied, tears swelling in her eyes. "Narcissa told me you asked about me."
"I felt the worst I had ever felt. I was immature, and mum and dad would have been disappointed." Harry admitted.
Y/n shook her head, finally letting the tears fall at the thought of her parents. "Harry, no, please. They would be so proud of you for everything. I'm so sorry about everything I said as well. I just need to know if you hate me." She begged, looking into his matching eyes.
"I never hated you, not for a minute. I was mad but I was also stupid and prejudice." Harry told her, finally allowing her to relax. Y/n pulled him in for a hug without thinking about it. "I missed you so much." Harry was sobbing too, hot tears on Y/n's back.
"I missed you too. Ron and Hermione and the Weasley's too." Y/n told him, pulling back. "Would you maybe want to hang out sometime. Talk?"
Harry couldn't nod quick enough. "Yes, please. I'd really like that. We've missed a lot of time."
Y/n pulled him back in for another hug. It was like the two puzzle pieces were finally together. The part of her heart that was missing was now filled.
"Is your scar okay?" Y/n asked, running her left forefinger over Harry's forehead.
Harry nodded, glancing up at her finger. He noticed the ring. Harry grabbed Y/n's hand, examining it in front of her. "Oh my." He exclaimed.
"Please don't be mad." Y/n winced, breath shortening.
"No, not at all," Harry told her. "I just want to be a part of your life. Draco's as well." He told her honestly. Y/n had never felt better than she did right then.
"Thank you," Y/n told him. "Are you with Ginny?" She couldn't help but ask.
Harry smiled as he nodded. "Yeah. This ring is phenomenal though." Harry mentioned, smiling as he met Y/n's eyes.
"I know." Y/n agreed a giddy smile on her face.
Today just might have been the best day of her life. She had a twin brother she spoke to and an amazing fiancee. Life was perfect.

Gryffindor had won.
It was supposed to be a happy occasion, despite the song Malfoy had gotten many of the Slytherin students to sing, but as you ran down the steps from the stand and onto the pitch, followed closely by Hermione, you realised something was wrong, Malfoyâs laughter being the most prominent sound.
You approached the Gryffindor team, wanting to make sure Harry was okay after the fall he took at the end of the game, though seeing Katie and Alicia hugging him assured you he would be fine.
âBut we couldnât find rhymes for fat and ugly - we wanted to sing about his mother, see. We couldnât fit in useless loser either - for his father, you know-â you heard Malfoy jeer.
âYouâd know all about being a useless loser, wouldnât you Malfoy?â You spoke out, arriving by Georgeâs side as his arm automatically moved to slide around your waist, his head turning in Malfoyâs direction, jaw clenching as he realised what he was talking about.
âLeave it,â Angelina looked towards you and the twins, particularly Fred who had taken a step in Malfoyâs direction, âLeave it, Fred, let him yell, heâs just sore he lost, the jumped-up little-â
Malfoy smirked in yours and Harryâs direction, a nasty look on his face as he sneered, âBut you like the Weasleys, donât you Potter? And you, L/n.â
He spat out your surname with a grimace. You felt George trying to move and gripped his wrist, running your thumb softly over his skin. He swallowed, hands curling into fists as he glared at the blonde boy.
âSpend holidays there and everything, donât you?â Malfoy continued, laughing with his usual sidekicks, enjoying the way he was winding you all up, âCanât see how you stand the stink, but I suppose when youâve been dragged up by muggles even the Weasleyâs hovel smells okay-â
George suddenly lunged forward out of your reach, his name leaving your lips just as Harry caught his arm, pulling him back and holding onto him, trying to prevent him from pouncing on the blonde.
Angelina and Alicia were holding Fred back, helped by Katie who had a grip on his shirt and one of his shoulders, though he was still struggling to get away from them, pulling them forward as they dragged him back.
Malfoy laughed again, the sound piercing your ears and making you scowl, âOr perhaps you can remember what your motherâs house stank like, Potter, and Weasleyâs pigsty reminds you of it. And donât get me started on you, L/n. The fact youâd even allow a Weasley to touch you-â
âYou git-â you yelled, moving to grab your wand. But before you could even throw a hex at him, Hermione grabbed your waist, keeping you back as you realised Harry had let go of George, and they were both now on top of the blonde boy, having shoved him down into the mud, throwing punch after punch. You stopped struggling as much as you watched the scene unfold before you.
âHarry! Harry!! George!! No!â
The Gryffindor chasers yelled out their names, but couldnât do much more as they were still holding Fred back, who was still trying to get to Malfoy.
You held your wand loosely but couldnât bring yourself to use it, watching as your boyfriendâs fist collided with Malfoyâs nose, his muscles straining and abs prominent as his Quidditch shirt rode up, showing off his toned back as he threw more punches, easily blocking Malfoyâs weak attempts at fighting back. He was swearing at the Slytherin boy, angry growls escaping his lips and you felt your mouth drop a little.
Swallowing, you couldnât pull your eyes away from the scene, Georgeâs ginger locks sticking to his forehead with sweat, both from the previous game and from fighting, a snarl on his face as he continued his attack.
Youâd never seen him like this, so aggressive, so in control of his actual movements yet not his emotions as he allowed his anger to fuel him, his eyebrows furrowed, clenched fists accentuating the veins in his lower arms as he landed punch after punch, before suddenly Madam Hooch was yelling out, and he was hit by a spell, one that paused his actions - or rather, slowed them down.
Harry jumped to his feet, as the Quidditch coach yelled out, âWhat do you think youâre doing?â
Malfoy lay on the floor, curled in a ball however you could see his nose was bloody. Fred was still struggling to escape the grasp of the chasers. And George, his lip was swollen and he was breathing heavily, but otherwise he seemed okay, for which you were thankful.
He pulled his shirt back into place angrily, a string of curses being muttered under his breath. His hands were still pulled into fists, his biceps clenching under the jersey, his jaw tensing, before he and Harry headed up to the castle without another word, practically marching away angrily towards McGonagallâs office, under Madam Hoochâs orders.
Fred pulled himself away from the chasers, though he was careful not to hurt them, and they hesitantly released their grips, ready to pull him back again if he attempted to finish what his twin and Harry had started. He scowled as he turned towards the changing rooms, grabbing his broom and heading off.
Hermione let go of your waist and you stomped after Fred, who was grumbling under his breath, and though he nodded at you in reassurance he was okay, you knew the twins and anger didnât usually end too well.
***
No one seemed to want to celebrate Gryffindorâs win after the match. In fact, you were sat in the common room completely alone, waiting for your boyfriend (and Harry) to come back from being reprimanded by McGonagall. Fred had sullenly stomped to his room a while ago without a word, simply kicking the wall beside the stairs in anger as he passed by it.
Even Angelina - who youâd expected to have been happy by her first win as a new Captain - had retired to her own dorm room with a frown, along with Alicia and Katie.
The common room felt odd, being so quiet, but you appreciated the calm. That was, until the portrait door slammed open and two familiar - angry - faces stormed in.
You didnât have chance to acknowledge Harry before George had pulled you up off the couch and, despite his split lip, he brought you into a rough kiss, one that made your toes curl and caused your greeting to become muffled, his hands gripping your hips as he pressed himself against you.
His tongue ran across your bottom lip, before pushing into your mouth, desperately kissing you as though it were the last thing heâd ever do. Your arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer.
You werenât aware heâd started moving you until your back hit the stone wall beside the fireplace, his hand moving to grab your bum, travelling to the back of your thigh to lift it round his waist, his hips pressing against yours.
âDid you hear what he was fucking saying?â He mumbled against your lips, parting briefly to take a breath before kissing you again, ââBout my parents, and Harryâs Mum. And you- Merlin heâs lucky he didnât say much more about you, heâd have had more than a broken nose, Iâll tell you that much.â
Your breathing was heavy, fanning across his lips as you replied, âTrust me, if heâd said much more, Iâd have been right there with you breaking more than just his nose.â
He hummed, his mouth hovering over yours as his eyes grazed over your face, your leg still resting around his waist, your hands now gripping his shoulders.
âAre you okay?â You asked. Perhaps a redundant question, considering the events of the day, however as George briefly screwed his eyes shut before opening them again, you knew he understand what you meant - there was something else bothering him, and he knew you could tell.
ââM fine, love,â he gave you a quick nod, before sighing at your pointed eyebrow raise, âAside from being banned from Quidditch.â
You blinked, not expecting that answer, lips parting in surprise as his hand moved from your hip to your thigh, tracing random shapes on the skin showing, âWait McGonagall banned you? She wouldnât do that! She adores your team! They donât stand a chance of winning without you!â
âNot her, the toad. Gave me, Freddie and Harry a lifelong ban. Can she even do that?â He swore aloud, his head dropping to your shoulder and you ran a hand through his ginger hair.
âOh Georgie,â you breathed out, your heart almost breaking at the idea of him losing out on something he loved so much, âIâm sorry to say but you know as well as I do... she can pretty much do whatever she wants, sadly. Sheâs got the Ministry behind her. Iâm so sorry.â
Your gaze moved to the back of your hand, where you knew there was light scarring from a previous detention with her, knowing that if she could get away with something like this, then sheâd do it.
ââS not your fault, is it? Shouldâve controlled myself and not fought Malfoy. No matter how much the git bloody deserved it,â George curled his hands into fists as memories of the fight danced through his mind, a snarl setting across his features as he buried his face into your shoulder.
âHe definitely deserved it. Least you got in a few good punches, eh? And if it wasnât you, it wouldâve been Fred. If it makes you feel any better though...â you trailed off, causing George to look up at you in anticipation of your next words, âI kinda maybe definitely thought that it was hot, the way you fought Malfoy. Just a little bit.â
He looked you up and down with a smirk, seemingly calming down at the revelation of this new information, âMe fighting is hot is it?â
âOh Godric yes. Youâre sexy when youâre angry anyway, but seeing you punching Malfoy?â You bit your lip and he let out a low groan, âBaby, that was attractive.â
George grinned cheekily, though a tad too wide causing his lip to split again, making him swear and dab at it with the collar of his shirt, reaching his other hand out to squeeze your thigh, âWell now I know that I might cause fights more often.â
You rolled your eyes playfully, watching as his tongue darted out across the cut, before leaning up to press your lips against his again. He kissed back immediately, almost as if he was waiting for you to do it, then began trailing kisses down your jaw, your eyes fluttering closed, before he pulled away suddenly, making you open them again, ready to protest.
âWhat is it about me fighting?â He asked, the corner of his mouth curling up, as if he was trying not to smile too smugly.
âNow youâre just begging for compliments,â you shook your head.
âHumour me. Humour me and Iâll go back to kissing you,â he countered.
You rolled your eyes, absent-mindedly moving to stroke his biceps through the Quidditch jersey he was still wearing, âCouldnât tell you if I wanted to. Guess itâs your muscles...â
You pressed your lips together as your gaze caught his, âAnd how strong you are.â
âStrong?â
You hummed, fingertips dancing up his arms and towards his shoulders, âOh yeah. You could hold my wrists above my head and I could struggle with everything I have and youâd keep me in place with ease.â
âThat a hint?â His voice had dropped a few octaves as he brushed his lips against yours gently, grabbing both your wrists in one hand and pinning them against the wall above your head as you shot him a cheeky grin, gazing up at him.
âA challenge.â
His free hand was already moving under the material of your skirt, as he casually glanced over his shoulder towards the staircase to the dorm rooms, before pressing himself against you further, his lips hovering over yours once more,
âOh yeah? Then challenge accepted, love.â

Most people knew of Nikolai Lanstov. He was a prince, the second born and the most charming. Most people knew him thanks to the countless rumours that went around at court: supposedly he was not of royal blood. "Sobachka" was what they called him.
No matter how though, everyone knew of the last Lanstov prince. But very little knew him.
Meeting him wasn't difficult. Since he had been of age, Nikolai had always been out of the Grand Palace and among people. Heâd also volunteered to enlist in the first army, refusing any kind of special treatment and fought beside his brothers in arms in the infantry. That was part of the reason why everyone outside the court loved him so much.
Being Grisha meant that fighting in the Second Army was mandatory. Not that you minded. There was nothing you wanted more for your people than to finally be free. Also, that Shadow Fold needed to go and as the Darkling has always said, all efforts are necessary.
Thatâs how you met Nikolai the first time. Generally, the First and the Second Army were stationed in different parts of the campsite. Numerous quarrels between oprichniki and Grisha had rendered the separation necessary. However, you never liked crowds much and living in the Little Palace meant that you were always surrounded by people. So, every chance you had to draw away and be by yourself for a while, you took it. Also, being a Healer meant that youâd spent more time in your assigned tent taking care of soldiers than among them.
Word had gone around that everyone in need could come to you. Usually, you had been instructed by the Darkling that your powers were reserved for Grisha. However, what good was it to have the ability to cure people and only take care of a selected few that very rarely got seriously injured? Meanwhile, soldiers of the First Army often suffered from severe injuries, fatal gunshots or knife wounds. You could help them and possibly save their lives so why shouldnât you?
That was why Nikolai found you one night. Sure at that point it was just another nameless soldier to you. He had never been in your tent before so you had never seen his face before. The boy whose arm he had draped on his shoulders though, was a usual visitor of yours.
âOh, Petyr, what happened this time?â gesturing to his blond friend to lay him down on the table, you started gathering everything you needed. Not that you needed much but you had found out that Petyr was absolutely incapable of bearing having his bones or injuries in general repaired without having some kind of pain reliever before.
After a few tries, you came up with a herbal composition that dulled the pain but didnât make him unconscious. Using kvas would mean that Petyr would be knocked out for a couple of hours. That would put him in trouble with his superiors.
âHeâs a fool, thatâs what happened.â The explanation came from his friend after he put him down gently. Despite his words, you could hear in his tone worry and guilt?
âIf saving your life makes me a fool then go ahead and call me one,â Petyr huffed in pain.
âWho knew you were so brave, uh?â After quickly shredding the herbs you needed, you poured hot water on it and brought the cup to Petyrâs lips while helping him keep his head up.
âHeâs the bravest of us all,â
âIf I knew it took a bullet wound to make you hand out compliments so easily, I would have done it sooner.â Scoffed Petyr after sending you a thankful look.
âSee? What did I tell you? A fool,â his friend said dramatically and you smiled amused at their playful banter.
âLetâs see what weâre dealing with, shall we?â You said out loud to warn both Petyr and his friend. Letting them know what was about to happen was best, your experience taught you. Both for the person on the table that could brace themselves for what was about to happen and for the person with him that was filled with worry and cautiousness. Oprichniki didnât trust Grisha that much.
After assessing the damage, you let out a relieved sigh as the bullet had gotten through and it had not hit any major artery. It had already got infected though, so you knew it would be a painful one to treat.
âSo, did you receive any letters lately, Pety?â You ask, suggestively wiggling your eyebrows while your hands cover the wound. You had your eyes closed to better focus but you were sure that he had rolled his eyes.
âOnly from my mum.â
âDonât tell me you didnât write her back,â you said, opening your eye just in time to send him a glare.
âUgh, not this again, y/n, please. Have mercy on me, Iâm bleeding all over the table.â Petyr moaned making his friend snicker.
âYouâre not bleeding all over the table and if you didnât notice, Iâm already taking care of you, am I not? That doesnât excuse you for being an idiot, though.â
âAre you two in cahoots or something? Itâs not fair. Wounded man over here.â
âOh shut up.â Both you and his blond friend said at the same time. Petyr moaned once again and you sent a little amused smile to the blondie.
âShould I leave you with a cool battle scar? Maybe acting like a war hero will give you the balls to write to her.â You harmlessly threatened him but your hands were already reconnecting the tissue of his skin without letting it scar.
âIâve told you, y/n. She deserves better than what I can give her. I am, who knows if I even make it home? Iâd be only stringing her along.â Now Petyr was dead serious. It was true, you had talked about this often since he was a regular you got to know him better and he had soon told you about his sweet Katia.
While his friend chanted âfoolâ like a mantra in the background, you took his bloodied hand in yours, his wound fully healed.
âPetyr, how do you think sheâs gonna react when she learns that there hasnât been any delay to her letters but youâre just ignoring her? Besides, you should let her make this decision too. Who knows, sheâll surprise you.â Squeezing his hand you turned to let your words settle and to put away your utensils. You knew you had given him so much food for thought so you didnât address the subject anymore. His friend helped him off the table and thatâs when you noticed that he was injured too. He had a pretty nasty cut on his lower lip and there was already a bruise forming on his temple.
âPetyr, you can sit on my chair while I take care of your friend. You should be fine but for at least a while donât stress your body.â
Mentally making a list of the things you need to tend to this kind of wound and where you kept them, you started collecting before heading back to them.
Petyr had sat down but his friend was still standing.
âYou donât have to lie down if you donât want to, but unless you donât want me to go take a ladder or something, it would be best if you sat on the table.â You gave him your best reassuring smile as you mixed the healing paste. Sometimes, men didnât like to put themselves in a vulnerable position with someone they didnât know and had learned to fear. He wasnât that badly hurt and it would only take a couple of seconds to fix but not every oprichniki was comfortable with being healed by Grisha power. So the paste would do your job for you. It would take longer, sure and it would also sting a lot more but at least heâd be healed at last.
After looking at you for a little while, the blond man did as you instructed, giving you a dazzling smile in return when you settled between his legs to fix his cut.
âThe name is Nikolai or handsome if you prefer.â It was not the first time a wounded soldier tried to flirt with you. IT didnât bother you, you found them amusing more than anything and you knew it was the allure of someone taking care of them speaking more than any real interest.
âLetâs hope you wonât be around here much for me to learn your name.â
âIâll have to find another way to make myself unforgettable then.â He winked at you before hopping off the table.
You didnât address his words, only gave them the paste you had prepared. It would prevent any wound from being infected and would be able to cure small cuts and bruises if applied for a couple of days. With that, you sent them both on their way. Petyr waving you goodbye while Nikolai sent you another wink.
And so this was how it all started.
Mr. "Perfect face"
Mr. "Here to stay"
Mr. "Looked me in the eye and told me you would never go away"
Everything was right
Despite your fellow Grisha, military life could be a bit alienating. Which sounded like a paradox, sure, but everyone had their own way of processing trauma and emotions and of course there were plenty of those during the war. If the best way to come to terms with everything that happened was to distance yourself from others and try to find the solution in solitude, it could get to the point where youâd feel alone in a room full of people.
To get a little respite, youâd usually go on a long walk or resort to stargaze. Sometimes, depending on where you were posted, it wasnât safe to leave the campsite. So, thatâs how Nikolai found you one night. Even he had to take a breather once in a while. Being a different version of yourself based on who youâre interlocutor was must be exhausting. Of course, you didnât know this. You knew nothing about Nikolai at that point if not that he was Petyrâs friend and a socialite, according to other soldiers.
He seemed to be at the centre of gossip no matter what group of people you found yourself with and there also seemed to be a consensus about him. Everyone liked him. Even if it was rare for some Grisha to appreciate oprichniki, you knew they somewhat respected him because if they didnât praise him out loud, they didnât speak ill of him either.
âNot a fan of crowds, are you?â he announced his presence before sitting down beside you.
âI love them, I really do. Itâs just that sometimes it gets too much.â
âYeah, I know how you feel.â
âYou do? Everyone seems to think youâre a socialite.â
âItâs what I want them to think but alas, I enjoy being more complex and multifaceted than that.â He lightly bumped your shoulder with his, eyes aflame with mischief.
âI bet.â you simply smirked. Despite how everyone seemed to think they knew him, you got the peculiar vibe from him, like there was a lot more to him than what he let everyone see.
âNo one seems to know much about you.â
âMaybe youâve talked to the wrong people.â
âWell, then I guess itâs better if I got straight to the source, donât you think?â
âThat will surely be a better start. Not sure youâll find what youâre looking for though.â
âWeâll see.â
That night had been the first of many. It had become a sort of an unspoken arrangement between the two of you. While it didnât last long, you sensed that you got to know him better than everyone. There was something about late nights meetings under the stars that prompted deep and meaningful conversations. It wasnât hard to form a solid bond with him after a few nights.
The conversations werenât always personal in the conventional sense. Youâd often stray and talk about the most bizarre things. Like why something had the name it had or how cool itâd be if it was possible to pass through surfaces, which led to imagine all the uncomfortable situations one could find themselves in if they were to simply go into a room through its wall.
Nikolai was witty, overly confident and ambitious and he knew a lot of things. You always wondered how he had learned them since he was so young and been in the army for a couple of years already. But Nikolai was never too forward on certain topics, his family and childhood being some of those. You understood, those were sore subjects for you too. So you never insisted. It was much more interesting to listen to him rumble about impossible future projects of his, like a flying ship.
"When people say impossible, they usually mean improbable." Heâd say whenever youâd point it out to him. Somehow, despite the absolute absurdity of them, the sheer confidence that he seemed to constantly exude, made you consider the possibility of his success.
You got the distinct feeling that there was nothing this man couldnât do.
But that was when I got to know Mr. "Change of heart"
Mr. "Leaves me all alone," I fall apart
It takes everything in me just to get up each day
But it's wonderful to see that you're okay
But, alas, as all things do, these encounters of yours also got to an end. You knew it would happen, you were both soldiers so your lives were both heavily characterised by uncertainty after all. However, you were not prepared for it to end so abruptly though. And without an apparent reason. Because Nikolaiâs unit hadnât been posted elsewhere and he hadnât been fatally wounded. You would have heard of it were that the case. But it wasnât.
You thought that he had come to cherish your nightly encounters too. Some of those had been full of his promises. How heâd love for you to be around when heâd eventually find the time to work on his ideas. How you had been a nice surprise, a most interesting person among so many dull idiots you were surrounded by every day. How heâd come to value your opinions and presence in his life and that he was going to find a way to make sure that that would never change. Promises that turned to be empty.
You had never allowed yourself to fully believe him. It wasnât the first time that a boy had made the same kind of promises but Nikolai looked sincere. Honest enough to be believable. But, of course, you had been wrong.
You didnât realise just how much you had come to rely on him until he was gone. You tried to keep your mind off him and luckily the perfect distraction came your way. The Darkling had scheduled an attack on the enemyâs army and had posted you to be on the field to take care of everyone promptly. You had never been more grateful to the man, even after he had given her a home and a purpose.
Ever since your first encounter with Nikolai, you had thought it had been a blessing. However, you had soon changed your mind and now considered a curse more than anything. Why? Because as soon as you got to the field you couldnât help but scour the troops for a familiar mop of blond hair. Many looked like him and being this far you couldnât be sure that he wasnât one of them but you certainly despised the leap your heart made every time though. That was a distraction you couldnât afford. Besides, it wasnât smart to let your heart get involved in times of war.
The battle began, Inferni and Squallers were working together to impair the enemyâs visual so they couldnât shoot or use their cannons while the First Army marched after them to swap in as soon as the air cleared to catch the enemy by surprise. While your role wasnât active per se, you were a Corporalki after all, and even if you had been specifically trained as Healer, you had also got one of your friends to teach you the basics of an Heartrenderâs work. You werenât a powerful one but you could hold your ground in a fight. Especially since they werenât expecting you. And you were still far from any real threat.
The battle dragged on and soon there were wounded soldiers that needed your attention. You hated this kind of work, it was messy and dirty and had to be quick because spending too much time on one soldier could mean dooming another to death. You were accustomed to it by now and soon found a rhythm focusing on ensuring everyoneâs survival and not bothering with the aesthetic side of healing. That could be taken care of later if they wanted to.
As soon as your eyes fell onto a crouched figure you sprinted towards them. It was dirty and you didnât recognize them but you got the feeling it was a life or death situation. Oh, how you wanted to be wrong.
The person crouching turned out to be Nikolai and he wasnât alone. He was kneeling beside someone, Petyr.
âWhere are you hurt?â you hurriedly asked as you tried to assess the damage. His uniform was dirty and full of blood but you couldnât figure out where it was coming from. Trying to answer you, Petyr opened his mouth only to let out the most gruesome gurgling sound as his respiratory tract was flooded by blood.
âHe got shot in the gut.â Nikolai offered.
âIs the bullet still inside?â Opening his uniform jacket you tore a piece from his shirt to use it to put pressure on the wound.
âItâs too late,â Nikolai uttered.
âNo.â You strongly refused as you removed the cloth and focused on the wound. His heart was straightening and he had already lost a lot of blood. If the bullet was still inside that it was going to be a problem, if it wasnât then you still had a fighting chance.
âI removed it earlier.â So that was why he had lost so much blood. Nodding your head to show that you had heard him, you set out to stop the internal bleeding. Slowing his heartbeat so that it was pumping less blood and thus eased your endeavour. You were still in the middle of the field and while you were keeping up with the warfare but in the back of your mind, you registered the sounds of screaming and of gunshots getting closer. A bullet hit you in the shoulder propelling you forward over Petyrâs body. Grishaâs kefta were bulletproof so you werenât worried for your incolumity but for the harsh movement you had made.
Leaning back, you heard Nikolai calling for you but your eyes were trained on Petyr. You tried to listen for his heartbeat but could only hear two instead of three. Nikolai, who had never left your side, immediately understood what had happened by the fall of your shoulders and the tensing of your hands.
He kept calling for you but the only thing you could focus on was that you had let your friend down. Now there will be one more family crying for a loss, another girl mourning a lost loved one. And it was all your fault. It was because of you that Petyr wouldnât live to see another day, to write another letter or to fight another battle. It was on you.
The details of what happened next were a bit blurred. Someway you must have found your way back to the campsite. Whether you did on your own after tending to everyone else, you didnât know. Your memories picked up after you woke up in your tent. Someone was calling your name, saying that the Darkling wanted to see you.
Mechanically you raised and made your way to the Darklingâs tent but your mind was elsewhere. Your thoughts were plagued by Petyrâs face, by that godforsaken sound he made when he tried to speak. The realisation that he was gone hit you like a wall of brick that would have made you stumble if you weren'tâ sat in front of the Darklingâs desk. Whether he was speaking and stopped after seeing the forlorn look in your eyes or he hadnât been speaking at all, you didnât realize. You did hear him say that you were going to be posted somewhere. Under different circumstances you have said something, anything to not let him send you away. Your mind immediately went to Nikolai. Youâd be leaving him behind along with the campsite.
However, you now realised that you had already lost him. Losing Petyr had been the last thing that had completely severed your bond. There was no turning back now and part of you was grateful.
Hello Mr. "Perfectly fine"
How's your heart after breaking mine?
I've been Miss "Misery" since your goodbye
And you're Mr. "Perfectly fine"
You couldnât know, of course, but Nikolai had left not long after you did. Albeit for a different reason. He had finally earned the Major rank and as such, he took a step back from military life deciding that his skill would be better suited for a life on the sea. Assuring Ravka the supply she needed but in ways that werenât exactly suitable for a prince but worked just fine for a privateer. And thus Sturmhond came to life.
As for you, you kept doing your job at your new post but were relieved when a letter came from the Darkling instructing that you were needed at the Little Palace. Part of you had relegated Nikolai to that part of your mind where the unmentionable was, however, a traitor thought whispered that maybe there was a chance that you could see him at the royal grounds. Sure, the possibilities were close to zero but it was still possible, right?
No.
You already were ashamed of the fact that youâre still suffering because of him. And yes, you missed him but you werenât going to indulge the pathetic hope of seeing him again.
He doesnât want to see you. If he did, he would have already found you. Or write you a letter if he couldnât, but he didnât.
You were right. You knew you were, nonetheless, the thought only brought you a bittersweet feeling.
You found the Little Palace just how youâd left it and yet it seemed changed in a way. The insane amount of work you found there waiting for you helped you drown the feeling that it was you that had changed.
Months passed this way, sometimes the Darkling would post you with him or outside the Little Palace. All in all, youâve kept busy. When news of the little prince leaving the Palace reached you, you let it wash over you. It wasnât like it mattered much, whether he was a few feet away or in another nation, Nikolai wasnât part of your life either way.
When the whole expansion of the Fold happened, you were stationed at the Little Palace. Chaos and terror ensued as soon as the news reached the capital making most of the Grisha flee. Most of them went looking for the Darkling while others simply ran away and hid. You were amongst the first group.
Soon, your life was radically changed. The shift in the Darkling was palpable and it didnât have anything to do with the scars on his face. You had tried your best to heal them and Genya to tailor them away but somehow, they could not be removed. It was an unsettling thing to realize that they didnât take away his beauty. One could even say that they enhanced his attractiveness.
He was certainly more powerful. None of you knew what had happened in the Fold that day, just that the Sun Summoner had fled and that there were no survivors apart from him. However, as your journey in pursuit of Alina dragged on, you were soon witnesses of his newfound power.
The nichevoâya, he called them.
He had always been immensely powerful. One of a kind. But this- this was different. And as dread settled among your group as you watched them in action, realisation sat heavily on your shoulders.
He soon found a trail and traced Alina in Novyi Zem and set out to reach the island by hiring Sturmhondâs crew. He was a famous pirate after all and despite his unreliability, the Darkling was sure that as long as he got his money, he wouldn't be a problem.
In the round trip, you didnât see much of the captain anyway. Some members of his crew were amiable enough, particularly the Yul-Baatar twins. You had even asked Tamar to spar with you from time to time. Your lessons with Botnik were a distant memory and you knew that mastering combat training skills could increase your chance at survival.
When Alina and Mal were held captive though, thatâs when Sturmhond made an appearance. He looked younger than youâd thought and there was something oddly familiar in the way he held himself. Still, you didn't talk with him much. Your job was to take care of Alina and so you spent most of your time in her room.
It wasnât until the Darkling asked Mal to track Rusalye and consequently spent more time with Alina that you had a chance to talk with him. It was during one of your night shifts when he approached you, the Darkling had wanted some of his to always be patrolling the ship.
âWhat could possibly make a little thing like you be amidst this wretched company?â
âItâs all a matter of perspective, I guess.â
âThe thrill of adventure?â
âThereâs plenty of it everywhere you go if youâre Grisha, even if you just go on a stroll.â
âIs that why you follow him?â
âI owe everything to him.â
âIâm sure you realize your role in this.â
âOf course I do. Iâm not some naive girl who has a crush on her general.â
âAh, so who, pray tell, do you have a crush on then, beautiful lady?â
âYouâre certainly noisy for a pirate.â
âPrivateer,â he corrected you, âthereâs not much to do around here is it?â
âNot if you have everyone taking care of it, no.â
âAmuse me.â
âIt isnât wise to let the heart get involved in times of war.â That was all you were willing to share. Yes, he was handsome. Yes, the twinkle in his eyes was oddly familiar but he was a stranger. A dangerous one.
âThose sound like words spoken from experience.â
âMaybe.â
âWell, Iâd say itâs no fun to only think about war. Life is so much more.â
âBelieve me, if I could, itâd be the last thing on my mind. But, alas, l donât have the privilege to do so.â
You had already lost too much time speaking with him. If someone were to see you or tell the Darkling youâd be in trouble. And you had made it your goal to never put yourself on the path of the Darklingâs anger. So you excused yourself and went back to your rounds.
If only you had stayed and talked to him more maybe you would have understood what was about to happen. Maybe you would have had an enkindling of Sturmhondâs plans. Instead, you were taken by surprise, just like everyone in your group, when Rusalye was spot and a shot was fired. You had found yourself in the uncomfortable position of having to fight against people you had grown to like.
âI donât want to hurt you, y/n,â Tamar warned you as you stood face to face on the sinking ship dock. Her trusted axes in her hands while your hands were raised ready to attack.
âI donât want to hurt you either.â
âThen you donât have to. Come with us.â Her proposition made you gasp.
âThat would be treason,â you whispered hoping that the Darkling wasnât around to hear you. A shiver ran through you as you thought of the punishment heâd give you for even thinking about leaving his side.
âThen you leave me no choice.â She said lowering her arms. Was that guilt you heard in her voice?
Before you could voice your question though, she shouted for her brother and not even a second later, you felt your body grow still. Your eyebrows faltered as you felt your heartbeat slow down.
They were Grisha.
They must have seen you realise because you heard Tamar apologize before everything went black.
Mr. "Never told me why"
He goes about his day
Forgets he ever even heard my name
Well, I thought you might be different than the rest, I guess you're all the same
You didnât stay out for long though. As soon as Sturmhondâs crew had left the Darklingâs ship and had safely made it onto the Volkvolny, the privateer had asked for you to be awakened.
There wasnât enough light for you to realize you were on another ship, what alerted you of your new situation were your hands. They had bound them behind your back. Immediately you started to struggle, hoping to wiggle out of the restraints. To no avail though. Huffing out in frustration, you settled for looking around you and see if there was something you could use. Thatâs when you noticed him.
âRelease me- this instant, or else-â
âOr what? Youâre a Healer. Not exactly a violent job, is it?â Sturmhond interrupted you, a smirk on his face since he had the upper hand.
âI donât need my powers to kick you in the ass, do I?â He laughed but didnât look remotely threatened. Rather amused, actually.
âPlease, you have to let me go. Heâll kill me if-â Panic started to build as you realized that there was no way you could successfully escape.
âHe wonât touch you.â A solemn glow took over his eyes. âHe wonât ever hurt you again, you have my word.â He promised, looking subtly at your left shoulder. You winced as you realized that he must have seen your scars. The ones left by the Darklingâs nicheâvoya.
âHow can I know if youâre trustworthy? You donât exactly have a good score, you know?â
âYouâre going to find out soon enough. Donât worry.â
Of course, he didnât bother offering further explanations. Heâd left it at that. You werenât a captive per se but he left your hands bound, only freeing them when you needed to eat or relieve yourself.
Fruitless were your efforts in making you tell more. He often ate with you and would check in at least twice a day but that was it.
It wasnât until after you had landed after that forsaken vehicle of his had gotten you through the Fold that you understood. His coming out as Nikolai Lanstov, prince and second in line for the Ravkan throne, had shaken you all to your core. However, you doubted that it had sent a pang to the othersâ hearts as it did with yours.
Nikolai Lantsov. The man you had been dreaming about, the one that had left you behind without any sort of explanations, the one you missed so dearly, had been by your side all this time.
You werenât sure how you felt. It made sense now why his eyes looked familiar and his posture. You then connected that the vehicle you had used in the Fold had been one of the many projects he used to geek about with you. It tasted a lot like betrayal. Not because he had lied to you about his name but because he had tried to get close to you again and had managed to somehow break that growing bond again.
'Cause I hear he's got his arm 'round a brand-new girl
I've been pickin' up my heart, he's been pickin' up her
So dignified in your well-pressed suit
So strategized, all the eyes on you
Oh, he's so smug, Mr. "Always wins"
So far above me in every sense
So far above feeling anything
Even if his secret had been outed thus causing some shift in the dynamics between Nikolai and the two new members of his crew - you suspected Mal was closer to punching him every second that passed- not much had changed for you.
On the outside, you pretty much looked like a prisoner. Albeit a very clean one. You rode with them, hands still bound, scowl ever-present on your face.
Nikolai had not come to see you ever since that night after the Fold. And now it had been almost a week since you had started your journey back to the capital. Whether this was all part of his plan to make you look the part of the captive even more or he was just gutless, you didn't know. It was working either way though.
You liked to think that his reason was simply that he didn't care. He had far too much on his plate right now as it was. Going back to court after years of absence while also making claims to the throne and trying to sway the Sun Summoner your way. It was no easy feat. But hadn't he always liked to say that impossible often meant improbable? A lot of things had changed since that night but even so, you'd still pose your bet on him that he'd be able to achieve anything he set his mind to.
It wasn't exactly that thinking this way brought you actual comfort. Of course, not. But it was better than foolishly hoping for him to still care about you the way you did for him. After all, he had sent plenty of signals that pointed in the other direction.
But then why did he kidnap you? Why take you with him? You weren't that close to the Darkling to be of any use to Nikolai in that way. And, as a matter of fact, no one had come to interrogate you regarding his plans or whereabouts. Then why?
You still couldn't figure it out.
Some days your anger shifted more to frustration and you were ounces away from asking for him yourself. Almost as if he had heard you though, he gave you the final push.
It was the usual day, Nikolai and Alina were riding in the carriage, stopping in every village we passed to meet with the locals. However, this time, before climbing back into the carriage, they kissed.
You were too far to figure out who started it and the details. The gist of it was enough though.
You most certainly were a fool. Still thinking about a guy who didn't give two shits about you, who had kidnapped you putting you in a dangerous situation and you were still wondering whether he felt something for you or not? Pathetic.
You had to do something about your situation and quickly too. Officially, you were a traitor. You had fled and joined the Darkling, that wouldn't make you look good in front of the king. He was a lousy bastard anyway and will probably sentence you to death to set an example. You hadn't survived so much shit to end up at the end of a rope.
So, even though you had initially thought against it since you were so close to home, you decided to escape. You were already headed towards certain death so what was the worst that could happen?
Your hands were left unbound when you were in your tent. One less problem to solve. Closing your eyes, you focused on listening for any nearby heartbeats. You heard two, those of the guards posted outside your tent. Maybe you could find an excuse to call them inside, put them to sleep and then slip away.
That was not exactly what your powers were for but you were desperate. You had to at least try.
And so you did. You called them in and immediately set out to slow their heartbeats. You had almost succeeded in putting them under when someone else slipped in. The last person you wanted to see.
"Am I that bad of a host?"
You didn't meet his ruse though, you knew it would make you lose focus.
"I'm afraid I have to ask you to release my soldiers." As soon as he said it though, they fell unconscious at last. Your chest was heaving by now, using so much power in such a different way was costing you. But you couldn't back down now. It was one on one and you were Grisha and a woman scorned. He stood no chance.
"Move out of my way, your highness."
"I'm afraid I can't do that."
"You can or I can make you. Your choice." The venom in your voice was unmistakable and it took him by surprise. He gave you a curious look tilting his head to the side like he was seeing you for the first time over again.
"I didn't realize ruthlessness was one of your personality traits."
"You know nothing about me," you seethed. The tip of your fingers flexed, the tension in the room could be cut with a knife and you were already weary.
"It may have been a while y/n, but I like to think I know a good deal about you."
"And I would like to completely erase this last year but you don't hear me yap about how shitty it has been, do you?"
"You never did like opening up much."
"I'm well past the point of sentimentalism, Nikolai. It is coming far too late anyway. And whatever my feelings for you may be, I won't let you put my life on the line." Your posture straightened, stance ready for battle.
His eyes flashed, jaw clenched. His hands closed in fists and he almost looked hurt. But why would he?
"Is that what you think all of this is?" Nikolai always acted aloof. He was always composed and dignified. You had thought it was for his insane amount of self-confidence but now you understood it was for how he was raised. But you recognised the pout on his lips. It was the expression heâd always have whenever he tried to get something from getting to him. To prevent himself from showing emotions.
"You're holding me captive while you go around Ravka parading your latest conquest, flashing your return everywhere. I don't know why you're doing this but I don't care. I've stopped waiting around for you and I certainly won't let your father put me to death."
"You think I'd let him?"
"So you want to do this?" you threw your hands up in exasperation, "Fine. You really want to know what I think?"
"Be my guest."
"I think that the Nikolai I knew would have left out of the blue without so much as a letter. I think that the Nikolai I knew was ready to go to any length to achieve what he believed in. However, I thought that the Nikolai I knew cared about me and what we had but look at me now. So maybe, I know nothing at all."
"You certainly do seem to know a lot of things. But youâre not wrong."
"If this is the way you care about me," I gesture to my tent, "then I'm not sure I want this Nikolai to care for me."
âThis,â he said, emulating your gesture, âis to keep you safe. This is my way to ensure that if the Darkling got news of your whereabouts, heâd be sure not to think you willingly left his side and betrayed him.â
âThatâs because I didnât!â You raised your voice in outrage. The nerve of this man.
âSpare me your indignation. I know you hate being at his beck and call, to do his dirty work and be constantly surrounded by warfare.â
âDo not presume to speak for me.â You snapped. You knew it was best to keep a cool head but his cockiness was getting on your nerves.
âDidnât you? Hate it, I mean.â
âWeâre at war, Nikolai. Being away or close to the Darkling wonât change that. At least with him, I was safe.â
âYou canât be that delusional to think that he was protecting you.â He scoffed at your words as if they were the most absurd thing he had ever heard.
âAnd you canât be that delusional to think that bringing me back wonât result in your father killing me.â You fired back shifting on your feet. He winced as if you had physically hurt him.
âYou have so little faith in me?â His voice was just above a whisper and you knew that your words had struck a chord.
âHow can I have any, Nikolai?â your voice softened a bit. âOne day youâre telling me how much you value my opinion, you promise me a future where Iâd be the first to see your project come to life and then you left. You just left, Nikolai.â And when I was starting to make my peace with it thatâs when you come back? Also, letâs not forget about my abduction and your flirting with Alina.â
âSo yes, I donât trust you.â You concluded, crossing your arms on your chest with finality. He just stared at you for the longest time. If someone would come in now, theyâd think you were in the middle of a staring contest. Then he sighed and started talking.
âI had to go away. I had already pushed my parentsâ limits when I said I wanted to be part of the infantry. So, one day I got a letter written by my father personally and I knew that my time was up. I had been Nikolai for too long, now I had to start being a Lantsov prince.â His eyes were on the ground now, shame making her way in his words.
âSo thatâs what I did,â he went as he started pacing,âI went to Kerch to study, just like my father wanted. I did what he asked, he couldnât reproach me anything now. I could never stay too still though, a life of adventure was calling me and I could not ignore it. It was only then that I realized that I could do so much more than sitting in a class, to realistically help Ravka.â
âI couldnât take you with me. You had such a larger role to play in the army and besides, there wasnât much I could offer you. So yes, I left. I left thinking that I would find my way back to you eventually.â He had stopped by now, regret was swirling in his shining orbs as he looked at you.
âYou could have told me.â You contestated, taken back by all the information he gave you. âI would have waited for you.â A whispered promise for something that would never be now.
âI was afraid, y/n. Thatâs not my best moment, I know and no number of apologies could ever make it right. But I was afraid of your answer. I knew Iâd be asking for a lot and letâs be honest-â the desperation in his tone was evident now, he had unconsciously started to lean towards you but you knew what he was about to say.
âYou werenât sure if the future you were offering me would just end up with me being your mistress, am I right?â Your tone hardened but despite the insulting implication of what you said, you werenât made at him.
âIâm a prince, y/n. We do not marry for love and this country cannot afford to disregard the advantages that a political union could bring.â
His honesty was as refreshing as it was unsettling. He was right. As soon as you had learned he was a prince, you realized just what kind of future you could have with him. But then he left and that problem did not exist anymore. Neither of you spoke, both of you were seizing the other. You had laid it all out, defences were down putting you both in a vulnerable position.
And someday maybe you'll miss me
âYou should have talked to me, Nikolai. We could have figured it out together. If it came to being your mistress to stay with you, then that was my decision to make.â You said softly after a while. It pained for you to say this, you would have never thought that getting closure would hurt this much.
Tears streamed on both of your faces, in front of you had been laid what your future could have looked like. It was everything you had wanted, you could still do your job and have the man of your dreams. You were surprised to find that you wouldnât mind sharing him with his supposed wife. You had been at court for enough time to know how most marriages went. If he assured you it was only a diplomatic affair but that his heart was yours, that would have been enough. Who knows, maybe sheâll get a lover too.
But now⌠now you didnât know if you could ignore everything that happened. You did not trust him nor could you ignore how hurt you were by his lack of communication and thus of trust in you.
But by then, you'll be Mr. "Too late"

-Meeting The Family- Draco Malfoy x Female Reader
  âź-đ-âź
Request: hi darling, how you doing? can i request a draco x reader where is draco going to her house on christmas break to meet her parents? maybe she has a younger brother who is quite jealous of her and draco together? just something very fluff and funny !! thank you, i love your work btw â¤ď¸
Kody: YESS. Iâve been waiting for something like this for the sole purpose that iâm going to make the reader a Weasley!
   Year: 7th
  House: Gryffindor
Possible Triggers/Warnings: Fred and George being the best siblings, Molly being Molly, Draco being literally terrified of the Weasleyâs, a little bit of the spice spice at the end.Â
  âź-đ-âź
âwill you stop pacing? Your making me nervousâ you grumble, watching as the platinum blond hair boy walked back and forth in your dorm room âYour nervous? Your not the one meeting your girlfriends whole bloody family todayâ he snaps at you.Â
he walks over to the edge of your bed and sits down, putting his face in his hands âIâm sorry. I shouldnât have yelled at youâ he sighs deeply. You crack a smile and walked over to stand in front of him and take his hands into yours âItâs alright, but iâll be there so thereâs nothing to worry about. Theyâll love youâ
Draco scoffs, leaning his head against your stomach âThey have every right to hate me, my father is a horrible person to them and theyâll think iâm just the same as himâ he spoke. You had never seen him so worked up over anything before, except for maybe when you got injured by a werewolf in the woods.Â
you purse your lips before sitting comfortably on his lap âDraco. You are nothing like your father and you will show them that. So stop moping okay?â you watch his eyes for a moment as he nods his head âOkay darling. I wonât mope. I just hope your right about thisâ
  âIâm always rightâ
  âź-đ-âź
today was the day, you had put on a blue, burnt orange, and brown striped sweater with blue jeans. The Weasley aesthetic really while Draco wore a emerald green sweater with black jeans (ik hawt). You stood in front of the burrow, holding his hand âHere we goâ you spoke.
you reach up to knock a couple times and the door swings open. It was Fred with a candy cane in his mouth. He looks at the both of you and nods once âHey Y/n and Malfoy. Iâm Fred by the way, not George. Just so you knowâ he sticks out his hand and Draco takes it. They shake hands. Thatâs a good start.
he takes the candy cane out of his mouth and points behind him âLetâs head in shall we?â he says and you smile. As you both step in, you could hear everyone talking âIs Charlie here yet?â you turn and face your brother. Fredâs face drops and he shakes his head âHe said he got busy with work.â
you nod slowly, your expression dropping âOh, okayâ you shrug. âY/n!â you hear a familiar shout and watch as Molly and Arthur come from around the corner. You let go of Dracoâs hand and walk up to them. They both embrace you tightly. You pull away from them and walk back to Draco.
you could tell how tense he was when he saw your parents. âMum, Dad. This is Dracoâ you say and slowly brought him up to them. Draco cleared his throat before speaking âHello Mrs. and Mr. Weasley. Thank you so much for inviting meâ he spoke. So polite.Â
your mother smiled warmly at him as well as your father âWell, were glad you came. Seems like our girls like Slytherinsâ Molly let out a laugh. You raise a brow âWhat do you mean?â âHey Dracoâ you both turn to the right and see Pansy Parkinson come out of the hallway. Oh right, Ginnyâs girlfriend.
Draco smiled kindly, she was his friend after all. âhey Pansâ he replies. Pansy waves before disappearing into the living area. âNow, you two join your siblings in the living room while we finish dinnerâ Molly spoke and leant down to kiss your forehead before leaning with Arthur âI think that went wellâ
  Draco nods âMe tooâ
  âź-đ-âź
âPercy, donât be such a buzzkill and take the candy caneâ George sat next to Percy, jabbing him in the side with the peppermint treat. Percy just rolled his eyes and continued to read the book we was holding. You chuckle as you sat on the sofa with Draco, his arm wrapped around your shoulders.
It was certainly a full house tonight. Molly, Arthur, George, Luna, Fred, Percy, Ginny, Pansy, Bill, Fleur, Ron, Hermione, you, and Draco. You wondered where you would all eat considering your family table could barely fit the kids who already lived in the house. âYour family is much different than mineâ Draco whispers to you.
you turn your head to face him with a smile. âYeah, weâre definitely stranger then other familiesâ you laugh quietly, a grin forming on his face. âI like it. Iâm so used to the quiet that i forgot that actual families talk and hang out with each otherâ he spoke, his eyes glossing over a bit as he looks at the tall christmas tree.
you reach into his lap and grab his hand, bringing it up to your lips to kiss his knuckles. âI hope i donât make you feel as alone anymoreâ you spoke with a small frown on your face. Draco shook his head and with the arm wrapped around your shoulders, he grabs the back of your head and pulls you into a kiss.
it was sweet and loving. To bad you had shit for brian brothers. âHey hands off Malfoy! No snogging my sister while iâm here!â Ron shouts, causing you to pull away from the kiss. Hermione seemed annoyed with her boyfriend and pushes his shoulder âY/n can do whatever Y/n wantâs get over yourself Ronâ
George and Fred both choked back laughter then actually choked on candy canes. Idiots. Ron grumbled something and crossed his arms. What a child. After more talking you had the urge to go to the bathroom and laid your head in the crook of Dracoâs neck âIâll be right back. I have to use the bathroom. Okay?â
Draco nods and places a hand on your thigh to squeeze it gently before unwrapping his limbs from yours âIâll be back. Be nice. All of youâ you gaze at all your brothers because Ginny at least knew how to be nice to Draco. You give a sharp glare to Ron before you leave the living room.
Fred watches as you walk out of the room and like a pack of dogs, every single Weasley sibling crowded Draco. He thought he was going to be murdered on the spot as his grey eyes widened. Bill smiles lightly and holds out his hand to shake âHi, iâm Bill. Anyway as you probably know were missing a Weasley tonightâ
Draco grabs his hand and shakes it âCharlie, right?â he says and all there heads nod. Oh this is so creepy. âRight. Well you see Y/n is really close to Charlie, but she hasnât been able to see him for almost three years and such, so Fred told her heâs not coming, but we plan on surprising her when we open giftsâ
a small smile graces the Slytherins face- wait. âWhy are you telling me this?â he questions and Percy speaks up surprisingly âBecause you make our sister happy and considering you both are graduating next year, we figure your going to be around more often and- so welcome to the family Malfoyâ
Draco was in complete shock as Percy spoke, considering he thought Percy hated him the most. Y/n was right. âThank you. I also want to apologize for my fathers behaviour towards your family as well as mine in the past. It took me awhile to see you guys the way Y/n doesâ
the twins shake their heads âDonât worry about it. Your dadâs a real piece of work. Y/n tells us your mumâs nice enough thoughâ they spoke in unison. Draco nods âyeah, sheâs not judgementalâ he reassures. âAnyway, we hope your having a nice night though. Right Ron?â Bill turns to face the younger Weasley.
Ron looks at Bill and shakes his head, but Bill hits his shoulder âYeah yeah whatever. We hope your having a blastâ Ron then tore away from the group and went back to sitting with Hermione on the other sofa, mumbling something along the lines of âsnogging his sisterâÂ
a couple minutes later you came back into the living room and were pleasantly surprised to see Bill, George, and Fred chatting with Draco who seemed to be smiling brightly. What a sight. You lean against the doorway and watch as he interacted with your brothers.Â
you watch as they all went to sit on the floor so Percy, Ginny, Hermione, Luna, and Pansy could sit down and chat as well. Who would thought the Slytherin prince would get along so well with your family. âYou guys seem to be having funâ you say as they turn to look at you.Â
you look to your left to see Ron sitting alone on the loveseat with a scowl on his face. You wave the group off before going to sit with your brother. He looks at you then the floor âY/nâ he spoke and you smiled lightly âRonâ you say in the same manner. âWhy arenât you sitting with the rest of them?â
Ron scoffs under his breath âWhy should i? Malfoy will never be friendsâ he comments and you reach up to lift his face, making him look at the group laughing and talking. âLook at Percy. Heâs the most stuck up person i know and he is having a blast talking to Draco and Pansy. Why do you have a problem?â
Ron sighs and pushes your hand away âBecause your my sister. Yes, i know Ginny is to, but weâre the same age you and i. I can talk to you about anything, but ever since you and Draco got together. It hasnât been you and i. Itâs been you and him. Whatâs gonna happen when your married? Iâll never see youâ
you frown. You didnât know Ron felt this way at all. It wasnât as surprising though to be honest âRon. Your my brother and i love you dearly. Iâll never forget about you or George, Fred, Percy, Ginny, Bill, and Charlie. Your my family. If your ever feeling alone. Just talk to me, okay?â
your words seemed to cheer Ron up. He nods and looks over at the group once more âLetâs do this.â he said and stood up.
  âź-đ-âź
after dinner the whole family including the lovers were in the living room again, passing out gifts. You watch as a square shaped box decorated with orange wrapping paper and a red bow floated from out a room and into each and every ones laps âoh wow, i wonder what these could beâÂ
George spoke sarcastically before getting wacked on the head by Molly. You chuckle and look over at Draco who stared at aw in the christmas gift in his lap âAre you alright my boy?â Arthur spoke up. Draco looks up and nods eagerly âIâve never gotten a real christmas gift before. My mother snuck me sweets and such, but never anything like thisâ
Molly gave Draco a look of solace before smiling âWell, i hope you enjoy this one! Now kids open them up!â she shouts and you all start to rip open the wrapping paper and you saw a deep red sweater with your first initial on it. Every year. The Weasley kids slip on there sweaters âThanks mum!â
after slipping yours on, you look over at Draco who had a emerald green sweater in his hands with the letter âDâ on it. He looked excited as he takes off his quidditch sweater to put on Mollyâs. âDo you like it Draco?â you spoke âi absolutely love itâ he a wide smile spreads across his face.
Luna got a baby blue sweater
Hermione got a deep red one as well
  Fleur got a white sweater
Pansy got a emerald green sweater as well as Draco.
Pansy slipped hers on and nods smugly âi look awesome. Iâm never taking it off. Youâll have to kill me first!â she exclaims as Ginny laughs beside her âSheâs not joking eitherâ Luna pulls the sweater over her head and wraps her arms around herself âSo warmâ she mumbles in her soft voice.Â
George smiles brightly and wraps his arms around her âYour so cuteâ he says before kissing the side of her face. Fleur looked down at the sweater on her and smiles warmly âI adore itâ she spoke in her thick accent and Bill nods before grabbing her hand to kiss her knuckles.
Molly clapped happily âIâm so glad you all like it. Now me and Arthur are going to get the christmas cookies from the kitchen. Weâll be right back out!â she announces before leaving the room. Everyone began to talk amongst each other and while you were distracted Draco snuck off into the kitchen.
    âź-đ-âź
âUm helloâ he spoke up. Molly turns around and places the icing bag she was holding on the counter. âAh Draco! Did you need something?â she asked, waving her hand for him to step closer. Draco walks over and immediately felt a cold shiver run up his spine. He was nervous.
âI wanted to ask you both something?â he says, gulping. Arthur and Molly look at each other before smiling âSure, go aheadâ Arthur spoke. Draco takes a deep breath to calm his nerves âMe and Y/n have been dating for three years now and i know we only just turned 18, but i wanted to ask for your blessing to marry her when the time is rightâ
Molly gasped loudly, before covering her mouth âOh Draco! We would be more than happy to give you our blessing. She talks about you all the time and you had been nothing but kind to her and our family. I know you are much different then your father. youâve learn to accept and adaptâ
Draco felt as if a weight has been lifted off his shoulders and he smiles âThank you so much. Uh- can i help ice those? If youâll teach me how?â he laughs nervously and Molly nods.
  âź-đ-âź
ten minutes later Draco came out holding a tray of cookies with your parents. You smile lightly at the sight. How cute. He places the tray down on the floor where the group sat and everyone began to much on cookies, except for Fred and George. Where had they gone off too? Draco takes a seat next to you.
he hands you a cookie and you smile, taking a bite âYou snuck away to ice cookies with my parents?â you ask, laughing a little. He nods with a smile and pecks your lips quickly, âSeemed funâ he replied nonchalantly. You roll your eyes and continue to eat your cookie in piece.
after everyone ate one Molly shot up from the sofa and gasped âGodric! We forgot Y/nâs present outside!â she exclaims, causing everyone to look at her. You tilt your head âWhat present?â you ask. âWe all pitched in and got you a present. Itâs so big we have to show you outsideâ Arthur spoke.
you were now thoroughly confused as everybody made there way to the front door and walking out. Draco grabs your hand and lifts you up from the ground. You both walk outside and see George and Fred on both sides of a tall present, wrapped in orange paper with your name written in red ink.
you laugh nervously. What was going on? âUm- do i open it?â you ask and Ginny nods, pushing you forward âGo on! Open it!â she shouts. You watch as George and Fred walk away from the present and behind you. âwe suggest to pull the red ribbon then step backâ George points out.
you chuckle with a confused expression before taking the end of the ribbon and tug it once. You hear a couple clicks and step back quickly as the box falls apart. A tall male with orange hair and a red sweater with a âCâ smiles at you. Charlie. You watch as he steps out the box and opens his arms.
âHello my little dragonâ he smile brightly as you ran up and tackled him into a hug. He lifts you off the ground and spins you around as you cling onto him. After a couple seconds he lets go and eyes you up and down âYouâve gotten so tall! and your hair is different. I also hear you have a boyfriendâ he teases.
you smile widely and nod âYeah. Heâs hear. Um- Draco!â you turn around and call for your boyfriend who steps towards you, holding out his hand âIâm Draco Malfoyâ he says politely as they both shake hands âIâm Charlie! I hope my little sister hasnât annoyed you too much. Sheâs mental this oneâ
you huff and wack your older brothers arm âHey! Donât scare him off!â you shout, making Charlie laugh. He shrugs his shoulders âI donât think heâs going anywhere. Your in for the long hall Malfoy. Welcome to the Weasleyâs!â he exclaims and Draco smiles as he wraps an arm around your shoulders.
  âź-đ-âź
the party came to an end and everyone made there way to there perspective rooms. There was surprisingly enough room for everyone, to be fair your pretty sure that your father used a spell to add some extra rooms of some sort. You put on black and white flannel pants with a black crop top, as well as a dark grey jacket.
Draco had on a black t-shirt and his boxers. You yawn as you began to fold up your sweater and place it in your trunk. You feel hands wrap around your waist and pull you close to his chest. âI had fun tonightâ Draco mumbles against the skin of your shoulder since your jacket had slipped down your arms a bit.Â
you smile and lean your head back to look at him âYou did? Iâm happy. Iâm also happy i got to see my brotherâ you spoke with a warm smile. Draco hums in response and slowly begins to pull the jacket off of your arms âI promised my mum no funny business while were here Dracoâ
he smirks and begins to place sweet kisses on your neck âYou may have promised that, but i didnât darlingâ he rasps. You feel one of his hands run across the exposed skin of your stomach as his thumb traces the hem of your pants. âWhy are you always horny?â you asked.
âI donât know? Have you seen yourself?â he chuckles as he spins you around to face him âCome on darling~â he coos and dips down to kiss your collar bone. âI-â â-Goodnight Y/n. Goodnight Draco!â you heard Charlie, Percy, and Fred shout. Oh those little shits.
you flush in embarrassment and sputter out a goodnight back as Draco growls in frustration. âCockblockersâ he snarls, making you laugh. âDonât worry, there going to do it to every couple in here. Didnât expect Percy too though, just listenâ you say and Draco keep quiet to listen.
  âNight Ginny. Night Pansy!âÂ
âGo away were busy!â Ginny shouts
  âSleep tight Fleur and Bill!â
âYou all are insufferable!â Bill yells making you snicker a bit
âWe donât have to worry about Ron and Hermione. Ron has got like zero gameâ Fred speaks and they all laugh.
âHey i heard that!â Ron shrieks in offense.
âSleep well George! Sleep well Luna!â
âYou guys canât pull this shit on me! Shove off!â George shouts and you hear a door slam.
âGoodnightâ Luna says. What a sweet girl
