And today’s award for vile gay goes to this guy, a “degreed interior designer”. Make sure you don’t contact him if you can’t be on his doorstep (like Uber eats) in 15 minutes or less. But for confusion’s sake he needs to have his sex planned in advance. On the rare occasion he tops (ie never) make sure you are douched. And if he has even the slightest inkling that you are not perfect, he won’t meet you. As Tina Turnter once sang, “You’re simply the worst.” Apparently what you see is what you get with this sociopath, which is of course, sociopathy. And massive doses of twatdom. Fuck this gay.

Like most modern day gay male sociopaths, Joe “already has an amazing partner and is not looking for another.” So don’t you go catching feels for this one - he will do everything he can to make you catch them, in order to get whatever he wants from you, but if you fall for that, it’s your own damned fault. And don’t let his profile fool you, he’s not looking for new friends either. He has zero interest in you other than to what extent you can service him as an object. His life is already amazing. How many profiles of white masc4masc douchebags contain this sentiment? I’ve never seen a non-white profile with it. These overprivileged members of our so-called “community” never cease to find ways of reinforcing their arrogance and privileged positions at the top of the sexual caste system we’ve developed over the past half century. And the way in which this sentiment is presented, you can almost hear these bastards sneering the words at the rest of us, as they flash their bodies all over the internet and preach about positivity, community, equality, and acceptance. Fuck those gays!

Opinion: if you’ve been seeing this story in the past few days you would know that a bunch of vile homophobic (and young) conservative puritans in Queensland decided it was a good idea to protest drag queens reading story books to children. Apparently in their ignorance they believed this amounted to gender indoctrination of children, despite the fact heterosexuals indoctrinate children into gender and sex roles from the moment they are born.

In any event, after a large backlash, the leader of this group of bigoted douchebags killed himself less than 24 hours later. I won’t deny the fact that my immediate emotion reaction was “good riddance” but the truth is I have more mixed emotions than that.

When watching the video captured at the protest, my gaydar went off and I felt the head bigot was probably struggling with his sexuality himself. I might be wrong, but that’s the instinctual feeling I had. Many gays like me have a well-refined gaydar - of course I could be wrong, but I don’t think so.

And so this raises another well-known aspect of the bigotry we non-heterosexuals experience in our shitty society: often the homophobia we experience is at the hands of our closeted brothers and sisters. It’s a deeply ironic and sick reality that the gender and sex norms dictated by the patriarchy are enforced more often than not by our own kind. The gender police are queer! I know when I was at school and struggling with my sexuality, I was the biggest and loudest homophobe around! Studies have also shown that homophobes are more same-sex attracted than their less bigoted peers (go google the study before you spit the dummy and claim this isn’t true).

So, on one hand I couldn’t give two shits that this guy killed himself, I honestly couldn’t. He was an arsehole. But on the other hand it saddens me that our culture is still so deeply fucked up that queers can’t just come out of the closet and enjoy their lives; instead they are twisted into perversions who publicly hate on their own kind.

Afternote: turns out he was openly gay, so yes my gaydar was working properly. But he was one of those conservative hateful gays who actively work against the community due to all the unresolved internalised homophobia they hadn’t worked through. The kind of gay the right wing and Trump can wheel out and use to pretend they aren’t homophobic.
