How to Master the Art of Mixing and Matching Multiway Bridesmaid Dresses?
Creating a unique look for your bridal party can be a fun and exciting task. One way to achieve this is by mixing and matching Multiway Bridesmaid Dresses.
Multiway bridesmaid dresses are versatile pieces that can be styled in various ways, allowing each bridesmaid to showcase their individual style while maintaining a cohesive look.
Start by choosing a colour palette that complement  your wedding theme. Next, let your bridesmaids choose the style that best suits their body type and personal preference.
Some may opt for a halter neck, while others may prefer a one-shoulder or strapless look. Remember, mixing and matching is all about balance. So, make sure that the dresses have a common element, like colour or fabric, to tie the look together. In the end, mixing and matching multiway bridesmaid dresses is a fantastic way to add a unique touch to your wedding. It not only enhances the visual appeal but also allows your bridesmaids to express their individuality. Ao3 Wrapped
I like numbers so here I am delving into my works again!
__
Overall stats for 2024!
User Subscriptions: 218
Kudos: 1,703
Comment Threads: 376
Bookmarks: 479
Subscriptions: 126
Word Count: 186,620
Hits: 186,620
That's a decrease on most metrics, but my word count is very comparable to last year, and I had no idea my subscription count had broken 200! Cool! Especially as I wrote some kind of out there fics this year, I'm very touched by that people want to stick around. I feel like I also do kind of absurdly well for comments, so thank you guys for that.
Fun Stats:
Fics Published: 25, including one on anon, for 186,620. This is down from last year's 31, but my word count last year was 198,621, so we're pretty damn close!
Number of One-Shots: 22— It was another year of going hard on exchanges, and that encourages one-shots! Of those, 14 were under five thousand words, so I'm pretty pleased with my objective of learning to write short was actually enacted, when I was experiencing deadline pressure!
Number of Multi-Chapters: 3 total, and one still unfinished. I didn't start any new ongoings and leave them unfinished this year, but I still have multiple languishing from 2022, and I didn't finish the one of those I was working on this year, so— augh. I need to stop doing events and finish some of those ongoings! But events are so good...
Number of Inspired Works: 3, because I participated in recursive exchange, where you write fic inspired by other people's fic and art! One of those was inspired by an animation, which I'm very proud of.
Longest Fic: You Blew Me Into Stardust (42,846 words), my beloved mech au. I did two fics for the aufest reverse bang, I also wrote Trying Hard Not To Smile Though I Feel Bad (16,254 words) for Aufest, which is a college au! The minimum for that event was 5k so I— went overboard a bit.
Shortest Fic: I just posted it actually, that's How To Make The Secret City’s Speciality Dessert - Roasted Brown Sugar Oranges And Buttermilk Ice Cream  (912 words), that's a zine fic where we had a 1250 word maximum! I love this fic, and I'm so proud that I managed something short.
Most Kudosed Fic: Gonna Have It Out Like Fight Club, which is a bit unfair because that one has been acquiring kudos since 2022, and is now at 213 kudos. My poor neglected child the mafia fic I HAVE THE REST OF THE FIC OUTLINED I just keep writing things for events instead of writing you.
Most Viewed Fic: That's Gonna Have It Out Like Fight Club, with 2,220, but again a bunch of those are from last year, so probably my biggest fic is Trying Hard Not To Smile Though I Feel Bad, my 13-things-I-hate-about-you Niki & Ranboo au, at 1,457 hits. That one I honestly did not expect to get as big as it did, but I guess people like the comedy.
Most Subscribed Fic: Gonna Have It Out Like Fight Club, with 82 people wanting to know how that one ends. I"M SORRY. I"LL FINISH IT I PROMISE. I did notice my subscriptions to fics overall fell— people were still subscribing to one-shots last year, and this year I guess people realized that was not panning out.
Most Bookmarked Fic: okay so it LOOKS like it's Gonna Have It Out Like Fight Club at 73 but I can count dates so I can tell that only 28 of those are from this year, wait I forgot about private bookmarks. Hm. Well anyways the one I'm sure was bookmarked this year was Things Could Be So Easy (If You Let Them), my first real intentional shot at writing QPR emduo with a proposal, and boy having THAT unlocked was a delight. That one has 52 bookmarks.
Most Used Fandom: Dream SMP with 13 fics, and SMPEarth in second place with 5. I wrote 9 different fandoms this year, technically.
Least Used Fandom: this is A MULTIWAY Tie as Internet & Social Media (Anthropomorphic), Murderbot Diaries, Books of the Raksura, Original Work, Origins SMP, and Parkour Civilization are all at 1 fic.
Most Used Rating: Teen, 18 fics. I wrote my first two explicit fics this year, both for exchanges!
Least Used Rating: Gen, 1 fic.
Most Written Relationship: Technoblade & Phil Watson | Philza, 10 times, UP FROM NINE LAST YEAR I'M DOING BETTER.
Most Used Additional Tag: hilariously, it's a tie between Comedy and Grief/Mourning, both with four times.
Most Frequently Used Characters:
Philza (16)
Technoblade (15)
Ranboo (Video Blogging RPF) (6)
Niki | Nihachu (5)
Tommyinnit (3)
Ghostbur (Dream SMP) (2)
Tumblr (Anthropomorphic) (1)
Jade (Books of the Raksura) (1)
Moon (Books of the Raksura) (1)
Archive of our Own (Anthropomorphic) (1)
Last year I was really startled that Tommy didn't make the list and well. I am not immune to Tommyinnit. He's back again.
Last Year’s Stats
And here's my stats! Tag me if you do this too, I like to see numbers!

5, 13, and 50 for AO3 Wrapped Ask?
I PROMISE I MEANT TO DO THIS LIKE A WEEK AGO I"M SORRY
5. Your most read fandom this year?
This is a wild, wild game - you don't understand. I have 99 tabs open to AO3 on my phone, and that is not an exaggeration. And those fandoms range from Magnificant Seven (TV series), Slow Horses, Ted Lasso, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek (AOS), Outer Banks....possibly Slow Horses might win by the amount of DIFFERENT works because most of them are one shots and I think I read one author's entire whumptober series in an afternoon....
13. Personal favorite fanfic that I read this year
Ok, this is just going to have to be a multiway tie - A Series of Narrow Escapes (Slow Horses) by @altschmerzes; Bridges (Slow Horses) by juicewiththebits; Not the Plan (Outer Banks - bless her for fixing redoing canon) by @fayedartmouth; and Houndsight (Hudson & Rex) by @itsjustdg; Repeat a Decision by Teeelsie
50. Favorite comment I left or received this year
Ooof. Having not updated diddly squat in months - perhaps all this year? I refuse to check now...I don't have that many to choose from, so pretty much any of them. I DID start making an effort to review the ones I liked though, so there's that. But probably the one I like the most is this one from Crash:
"Love this fic so much!! It's one of my most common re-reads for sure, just the right balance of hurt/comfort, badass-ery, angst, friendship etc. Length is perfect for "finish before bed but don't fall asleep halfway through" for me lol. I love all the characterisation so much, especially the dynamics between the characters. Your pacing is perfect, with the perfect mix of internal thought, action, and dialogue, and everything is so naturally and vividly described too, in a way that makes sense for the characters? Like you describe what katsumoto would have noticed and how he would have thought about it to himself. Thank you for writing and sharing it with us!!! Please take this comment as about 30 kudos by now, with at least 30 re-reads on the way xx" - mostly because of the last sentence, that just like made my whole month when I got it. I love return readers! <3 And honestly, that's more of how I wind up leaving reviews because I have to actually set reminders for myself to do it. Also, because Crash is one of my favorites too - I think I wrote it when I was supposed to be doing homework in like an afternoon?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway...sorry for the delay, and thank you for the asks!

Because my motivations for and my way of painting is very vibes-based and experimental rather than about skill, given my experience last year with the ridiculously technically well-executed but often kinda boring work (even in the Novice category) I was very hesitant to enter stuff in the Ropecon miniature painting contest this year.
However, the organizers decided to take a page from various international contests and switched to an open competition format, which means that instead of awarding first, second, and third in each category, they can give out as many gold, silver, and bronze awards in each category as they feel deserve it. Think of it like committing to have multiway ties. (Each standard category, i.e. those by figure type, still has a single "best of category" award.) This works well for large contests with a lot of participants (top-tier international events have thousands upon thousands of entries) and I guess this is getting kinda big, and maybe the same handful of people won't sweep all the prizes.
There's also the benefit that a competitor can enter multiple different works in the same category (and you can be awarded either for individual pieces from your entries, or your whole lot). The idea being that you can show off more of your stuff as well.
So, I figured I'd throw a bunch of stuff at the Beginner (still think Novice is a better translation) category and see if anything sticks. Honestly not very optimistic that being able to give more prizes would mean the bar to getting one would lower by much.
But hey, get this
Tumblr media
(You haven't seen a couple of these yet, since registering them in the contest made me finish them.)
I think I spent the longest on that figure.[1] I couldn't tell you what exactly they liked about it—you can get feedback from the judges if you want but I have a policy against asking for general feedback (regardless whether complimentary or critical).[2] I'd say my favorite parts of it are everything except the human figure itself—the base, the cloak, the weapons. I eventually did put some proper snow texture paste on it too, and this may or may not have been a mistake...
Anyhoo, when you get the commendation card it means you're in the running for a trophy!
They are ridiculously cute.
Tumblr media
I guess I'll have to paint the category and year onto the nameplate area on the bronze trophy myself. (which is fine, I can do tiny lettering.)
They'd set up a photobooth with a proper camera and all to take the photos of the winners for the awards show but they were kind of terrible? I can take better pictures with my phone:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I really am not aiming for the same level of technical perfection as folks who do this so-called "display painting"[3], so I don't feel particularly eager to "graduate" to the standard categories. (Also yes, you could still say the same handful of people swept the gold (and a lot of the silver) trophies, but more people got to take home at least a bronze.) But maybe the competition isn't quite big enough yet to split off professional painters into their own categories.
So I think I'd still prefer to show my work in a non-competitive way. Especially if it means I can provide some interpretive context since so many of my pieces are quite personal. I dunno, I feel that making art, or at least what I make, shouldn't be a contest. If they could have a non-competitive display area it might let people show more experimental or joke/gimmick pieces that aren't necessarily high on the technical scale. Might even encourage beginners to share what they're doing instead of being scared off by the sheer quality of work overall.
__________
[1] The turquoise cape and black skirt on the other one also took a substantial amount of time but I don't remember how much
[2] I was somewhere else and wouldn't have had time to ask anyway.
[3] I don't play games with my figures, so any piece I am happy to share on social media is a "display" piece to me.
__________
Bonus picture: somebody's really tiny bust. The pieces are from the same wizards kit that I used for my band tribute figures.

The Ultimate Guide to Backless Bras: Comfort, Style, and Support
When it comes to special occasions or fashion-forward outfits, a backless bra is a wardrobe essential. Whether you're wearing a stunning evening gown, a trendy backless top, or a chic halter dress, finding the right support without compromising on style is key. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll dive deep into everything you need to know about backless bras, including their benefits, types, and tips to choose the perfect one for your needs.
What is a Backless Bra?
A backless bra is specifically designed to provide support and coverage without the traditional back band. These bras are ideal for outfits that expose the back, offering a seamless and discreet look. They often use innovative designs, including adhesive cups, transparent straps, or convertible features, to ensure they stay in place while offering comfort and style.
Benefits of a Backless Bra
Versatility in Styling Backless bras allow you to confidently wear daring outfits, such as low-back dresses, plunging necklines, and backless tops, without worrying about visible bra straps or bands.
Enhanced Comfort With lightweight materials and innovative designs, many backless bras provide a barely-there feel, perfect for long wear during events or daily activities.
Improved Aesthetics A backless bra ensures a smooth and seamless silhouette, helping you look polished and put-together, no matter the occasion.
Innovative Designs Modern backless bras come with features like push-up padding, multiway straps, and adhesive technologies, catering to various preferences and body types.
Types of Backless Bras
Understanding the different types of backless bras can help you find the perfect match for your outfit and comfort needs.
Adhesive Backless Bras These bras rely on medical-grade adhesive to stick directly to your skin. They are perfect for completely backless outfits and come in various shapes, such as cups or plunge designs.
Convertible Bras Convertible bras have removable and adjustable straps that can be configured to suit backless, strapless, or halter-style outfits. These versatile options are great for those seeking multiple styling solutions.
Stick-On Bras Similar to adhesive bras, stick-on bras adhere to the skin. However, they often feature additional lift mechanisms, such as drawstring closures, for enhanced cleavage.
Transparent Back Bras Transparent back bras use clear silicone straps to give the illusion of a backless design while providing more support than adhesive options.
Plunge Backless Bras Ideal for outfits with deep necklines and low backs, plunge bras feature a U-shaped design that stays hidden while offering sufficient support.
How to Choose the Perfect Backless Bra
Consider Your Outfit The type of backless bra you choose should complement your outfit. For completely backless dresses, an adhesive or stick-on bra works best. For dresses with slight coverage, a transparent strap bra might suffice.
Choose the Right Material Opt for high-quality, skin-friendly materials, especially if you’re going for adhesive bras. Look for hypoallergenic options to avoid irritation.
Get the Right Size Size plays a crucial role in ensuring comfort and support. Follow the manufacturer’s sizing guide carefully, as backless bras may fit differently from traditional bras.
Check for Support Features If you’re looking for more lift or cleavage, choose designs with padding or adjustable mechanisms. For heavier busts, opt for options with additional support features.
Durability and Reusability Some backless bras are reusable and can be worn multiple times if maintained properly. Check product descriptions to ensure you’re investing in a durable option.
Styling Tips with Backless Bras
For Formal Events Pair a backless bra with an elegant evening gown or cocktail dress for a sophisticated look. Stick-on bras with lift features work wonders for these occasions.
For Casual Outfits Use a convertible bra with halter tops, racerbacks, or off-shoulder styles to achieve a relaxed yet chic vibe.
For Wedding Dresses Brides often choose adhesive or plunge backless bras to complement their wedding gowns. These bras provide the necessary support while remaining invisible.
For Everyday Wear Transparent strap bras can be a practical choice for everyday outfits that require a discreet backless look without compromising on support.
Maintaining Your Backless Bra
To extend the life of your backless bra, proper care is essential:
Clean After Every Use For adhesive bras, gently wash the sticky surface with warm water and mild soap to remove oils and dirt. Allow them to air dry completely before storing.
Store Properly Store your backless bras in their original packaging or a clean, dry place to maintain their shape and adhesive properties.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals Refrain from using perfumes or lotions on the area where the bra adheres, as these can affect its stickiness.
Why Choose a Backless Bra?
Backless bras are more than just a functional piece of lingerie—they’re a game-changer for anyone who loves to experiment with fashion. With a range of options available, they cater to different body types, outfits, and occasions, ensuring you never have to compromise on style or comfort.
