One of my favorite quirks from Mahone is how he calls people by surname a lot of the time. He only calls em by name when close I believe.

Edwina's Children
For @edwinaweek I thought I'd share my headcanon for Edwina and Matthew Bagwell's children as part of my Bridgerton: The Next Generation series.
Jeremy Bagwell is born the day before his cousin Edmund's first birthday, and throughout their childhood the Bridgerton and Bagwell families would celebrate the birthdays together at Aubrey Hall, which was always an anticipated highlight of Jeremy's year. He was a very easy baby and rather quiet much to his parents curious disbelief, especially in comparison to the energetic chaos his cousins wreaked on a daily basis. But as he grew, it became apparent that Jeremy was simply a boy of a quieter nature, who was more than content with his own company and much preferred the peace and tranquility of his parents' library than the rough and tumble of the great outdoors. His favourite pastime was being read to by his parents, an activity which he didn't want to limit to just bedtime alone and he would eagerly run up to either parent throughout the day with books in hand requesting to be read to. When he was old enough to read himself he permanently had his head buried in a book, and he could often be found alongside his father in the library as they separately studied their favoured texts. Much like is father, Jeremy would go on to be a scholar, but instead of philosophy, Jeremy opted to become a professor of his lifelong passion; history. So engrossed was he with his educational role, he never showed much interest in settling down or even courting any of the eligible young ladies of the Ton. He never much cared for balls and parties, with the only social events he ever made an effort to attend being those hosted by his Aunt Kate. While he tended to stick close to his relatives, at one particular ball he slipped away to the library of Bridgerton House in search of a textbook he hadn't reread in several years; only to find the season's diamond tucked away reading the exact book he was after. Miss Theodosia Barrington was a reluctant diamond and had been shocked to named as the season's incomparable, especially when she hadn't wanted to take her bow in society in the first place. Much to his surprise Jeremy felt an instant bond with her, and then to his even greater surprise by the end of the season he had married a diamond of the first water, just like his father had before him.
Three years after their first, Edwina and Matthew welcomed baby number two, Francis, into the world. From very early on Francis was an incredibly smiley baby who adored every show of affection he was spoiled with. While his brother was happy to be independent and do his own thing, Francis loved being surrounded by others and would trail after his Mama, Papa, his brother Jem, the household staff, and any guests that came to visit. Someone he adored in particular was his dear Grandmama Mary, who he always ecstatically greeted with a great big hug and whose lap was his most favourite seat. In turn (as much as she claimed not to have favourites among her grandchildren), Mary couldn't help but possess a special fondness for Francis, not just in the way he loved her abundantly, but how his smile and shining eyes were the most reminiscent of her late husband out of her four grandsons. Francis thoroughly enjoyed his stays at Aubrey Hall throughout the years and loved running after his older cousins Edmund and Miles, as well as his cousins' cousins too, happily integrating himself among them as they played games together and hurtled around from one end of the estate to the other. His outgoing and personable nature carried on into adulthood, making plenty of friends along the way during his years abroad, as well as befriending perfect strangers in any ballroom and assembly room he stepped foot into. As delightfully affable and pleasing as Francis was, there were two weaknesses he possessed; pretty girls and suggestibility. With the former he often tended to fall hard and fast for ladies with winsome smiles and sweet temperaments, and had ended up suffering from a string of heartbreaks as a result. The latter was arguably the bigger flaw for him because as confident a young man as he was, he still relied on the approval of those in his life who he looked up to the most and would end up swaying to agree with whatever his role models advised of him in spite of his own thoughts and feelings on the respective matter at hand.
After another three year gap, the Bagwells welcomed their little girl, Maryam, born a month after her Cousin Charlotte. Edwina and Kate loved having daughters so close in age and much to Mary's amusement, Maryam was practically identical to Edwina as Charlotte was to Kate, and watching her granddaughters play and spend time together was just like watching Kate and Edwina twenty odd years before them. Maryam loved her big brothers and copied them both despite their contrasting natures; she'd lark and dance about with Francis as often as she would take a seat next to Jeremy and read a book alongside him (which she adorably did even before she had learnt how to read). She also loved to copy her Mama and enjoyed playing dress up in her mother's gowns and having her Mama style her hair to match hers. From a young age she adored bedtime stories of handsome princes and falling in love after a single dance, and naturally Edwina couldn't help bracing herself for the day her daughter wanted to make her debut into society and all the hopeless romantic antics it may bring - however Edwina was surprised when Maryam came to her about her debut and made the odd request to spend as little money on her gowns as possible. When Edwina asked why, Maryam expressed her worry of impressing the Queen too much and potentially ending up as diamond of the season just like her, not wanting to suffer the same pressures as Edwina had during her season. Sympathetic to her woes, Edwina assured her daughter that regardless if she was the diamond or not, she shouldn't feel burdened by any pressures of securing a prosperous match for the sake of bettering their family; all she wanted for her daughter was to find a love match and secure her happiness. With the reassurance that she would only be expected to marry for love, Maryam enjoyed her debut season alongside her Cousin Charlotte. Sure, not all the suitors she danced with or who called upon her impressed her much, but she was in no real rush to find her perfect match just yet - that is, until she attended David Basset's wedding and was introduced to the bride's brother, Mr. Benedict Woodson.

so glad I now know who you cast as Mr. Sharma, may you share who you cast as Josie and potentially the Sharma Bridgerton children?

The casting cast itself tbh.
He has always been the preeminent Daddy Sharma In My book.
And I always think Josie Bagwell is Jessica Williams tbh

PRETTIER EVEN
You'd been at Fox River for days, you'd been accused of murder. But you? An innocent girl, who refuses to walk into Anne Summers? You would never do that. But now, you share a cell with one of the most creepiest dudes you've met in your life.
Theodore Bagwell. You heard people call him T-Bag and for some reason he always has a guy holding onto his pocket. So you decided to ask him about it.
"Excuse me..?Mr Bagwell?" You shyly walked over to him but kept your distance. He snapped his head to you.
"Please...call me T-Bag, darlin'" he says with a southern accent. But the way he smiled at you, he made you forget the evil crimes he'd done.
"I uhm...I just wanted to ask. Why does he hold onto your pocket?"
"For protection sweetcheeks. You see...when you grab ahold of my pocket. I protect you but it comes with a price, you become mine..."
You knew what he was hinting at. With that charming smile of his. It made you melt.
"So, what are you askin for?"
"Hm?"
"What are you askin for? Are you interested sweetcheeks?"
He grins wickedly at you. His tongue licking his pink lips as his gaze traveled up your body. Before you could answer, he cuts in.
"But I tell you what...you are as pretty as advertised...prettier even"
You looked down and smiled. He stood up from the bleachers and stepped down.
"You interested in becomin' mine?" He came closer to you.
"It brings me protection?"
"Damn right.."
You looked around at the hungry faces staring at you and...you slowly nodded.
"Atta girl..." He pulls his pocket out for you to take.
This was a start of a weird and beautiful friendship

Oh no sorry not the isekai AU. The AU where due to circumstances each of the Bridgerton’s lost their loves. An example I think Daphne lost Simon because she was too late to the dual and Anthony shot him in the shoulder. Simon left the country after that. All the Bridgerton’s lost their partners in similar ways (Anthony married Edwina and Kate left to go back to India, Penelope vanished after Colin found out she was Lady Whistledown etc.). Then somehow the siblings traveled back in time to Daphne’s entrance to society. I was thinking what if instead of keeping a cool head about everything and thinking about how they are going to approach their true loves slowly instead the siblings just snap.
I'm so sorry anon but I really don't know which au this is. It sounds like a good au, but if I wrote it out I can't find it. I have the vaguest guess but im unsure if it was one of mine or someone else's, but I have the vaguest memory of an ask that included a part that said Simon gifting Daphne a piece of jewelry that was actually an heirloom passed down to all Duchesses of Hastings before he left England but she was getting married to the prince instead. Again I don't know if that one was mine or someone else's, I feel like it might be @thekatebridgerton but I'm not 100% sure.
But we can start a new one!
So let's start with the bad endings.
Saphne: For this one I'm thinking the duel happened just a bit earlier. Anthony and Benedict knew that Daphne would go to Colin to get any information so they purposely gave him the wrong time for the duel. This led to Daphne arriving after Simon losing the duel and getting shot in the shoulder. Daphne tried to chase after him but her brothers dragged her home instead. Per their agreement Simon left the country after that. Daphne did end up getting married to the prince but she was never truly happy in that marriage, she was content at best with a few moment of happiness with her children here and there. She never did fall in love with the prince, and moving so far from her family did make things harder at times but like most things in her life Daphne learned to adapt to the cards that were handed to her.
Kathony: Anthony and Kate could never let themselves stop putting duty first. Anthony could also never get over his fear of dying young. In the end Anthony had married Edwina and Kate had left back to India. During their marriage Edwina and Anthony were cordial at best but when Edwina heard of her sister leaving a part of her blamed herself and another part blamed Anthony. They both did their duty and had one son, but after that they both came to an agreement where they would find pleasure and possibly happiness outside the marriage. So long as they were discreet. Edwina had met her true love in one scholarly Mr. Bagwell who she would later remarry once she was widowed. Anthony threw himself even further into the role as the viscount, though there were times he would look while ridding to see if a familiar rider would appear out of the mist just like she did all those years ago. Kate on her side did return to India and cut contact from her family. She bounced around from governess job to governess job, keeping herself busy so she does not dwell on thoughts of the past, and people she loves but would prefer not to remember for her own emotional sake.
Benophie: The news of Sophie's arrest had been brought to Benedict's attention later that day. Had he been a little bit faster, or had the news got to him just a little bit sooner, he would have been there when Posy took the blame for the item Sophie was said to have stolen. Araminta, who was losing control over both Sophie and Posy did not like that and both ended up getting sent to Australia where they stayed after their sentence was done. While they could have gone back to England if they raised the money for it neither wanted to risk facing Araminta again. They ended up changing their names when starting over. Benedict always kept a close eye on any news of former convicts returning to England. Praying any of them will lead him back to Sophie.
Polin: Things were getting heated on both sides of Penelope's life. The hunt for Lady Whistledown continued, becoming even more intense. More guards were haunting the print shop where she used to go, and she has heard more than one whisper of spies keeping eyes out in ballrooms. Meanwhile as Penelope someone had found out about her Irish Catholic heritage from Portia's side. Prudence and Philippa were spared due to them being married already and Felicity was still young enough they could hide her away until it blew over but Penelope and Portia took the hardest blow. Despite the fact that Portia converted years ago for her survival and Penelope was never raised catholic. To be honest she should not have been that surprised when Colin finally caught her in that church, dressed as a maid. They argued, screamed at one another, which turned into a very intense kiss. After Colin said he needed to think. Penelope had thought he hated her now and surely he would turn her in? Colin legit just needed a moment to think, he was given a lot of information in one day, and he was already protective over Penelope when news other family broke out, now it was just intensified. He was going to propose marriage the next day. What Colin did not know that the column Penelope was going to send out would be her last one. She later disappeared into the night, and he spent years looking all over the world for her, chasing down any lead, not knowing that she had hidden herself away in America.
Philoise: After her conversation with Anthony, Eloise lets her fear of commitment win and decides to return to London without marrying. Phillip takes the rejection gracefully, quoting that he did invite her to see if they suit. They did not, and he was not going to push her. Eloise's heart broke, though, when the twins asked why she was leaving tears in their eyes. In London, life continued on, Eloise found things to occupy her time, movements that she wanted to help move forward, and while she enjoyed pushing for change, she still felt her life was rafher lonely. She was never truly happy in London, never was, and often found herself itching to run just like when she was younger. Then, one day, many years later, during a society event, she would rather not be at a Sir Crane was announced. Eloise was taken aback because her Sir Crane wouldn't be caught dead in London. And it wasn't her Sir Crane, rather it the son of her Sir Crane. Oliver didn't say much to Eloise but did stop by to call on her the next day. He gave her a bouquet of medow cranesbill. "A final gift from my father," Oliver told her.
Franchael: After the death of John, both Francesca and Michael had mental breakdowns. All Michael could think to do was run while Francesca dug her heels in at Kilmartin estate and kept it running. When they reunited years later, both refused to talk about John and what happened to their friendship, despite the fact that's what they needed to do. Being reunited, Francesca became aware of this sexual tension that has been simmering between her and Michael. Still upset that her husband and unborn child were taken from her, she found herself wanting to walk down a wicked path. Well widows are more ignored by society so why doesn't she have some fun? She falls into bed with Michael. They still don't talk. Not only is Francesca discovering her physical intrest in Michael but some feelings she rather ignore are emerging too. They still don't talk. Francesca discovers that Michael has malaria and has attacks from it every so often. They still won't talk. One of these attacks ends up taking Michael's life and Francesca ends up right back where she was all those years ago. The man she loves is dead and she's pregnant. Only this time Francesca has to hide away, but her baby makes it. Thanks to Janet and Helen they organize papers so the boy is considered legitimate and the new earl of Kilmartin. Francesca loves her son sometimes she wishes his father were there so she could tell him she loved him too.
All the siblings have regrets in their lives by the time they pass on. None of them ever really found that love match Violet used to describe what she had with Edmund. Oh, they had their great loves, despite how fleeting they were. Some did marry, some chose to remain unwed. But none of them expected to wake up on their past selves bodies. After poking around they discovered the year is 1813, Daphne is in her on third year in the marriage mart and the Duke of Hastings has just passed, leaving his title to his only son.
Several thoughts hit at once.
Simon was due to return to England soon. Kate would follow a year later. Sophie was currently trapped with Araminta. Penelope was debuting this year. Phillip was currently at Cambridge. Michael was in the army.
Their loves were so close. They lost them once but never again.
#look if i'm coming up with bad endings i'm gonna go with the worst case scenario my mind can think of that don't fall into certain areas#gotta give a reason for them to snap#I'm unsure for the others if someone wants to do their bad endings be my guest#bad endings au#second change au#bridgerton#polin#kathony#benophie#philoise#franchel#saphne

Interruptus
Another old one of mine for Benophie Week. It's not THE bath scene but it's A bath scene 😁.
___________________________________________
“Well this is certainly a welcome sight for my weary eyes.” Benedict growled low, lounging against the door.
“Benedict!! What are you doing here? I thought you left for Aubrey Hall with the rest of the family!’
“Mother informed us that Hy was too ill to travel for a few days so I, being the excellent brother that I am, told her I would stay.” He said as he knelt by the bathing tub, playing with her curls.
“And of course your only concern was for your baby sister and not that it would give you a few days alone with her governess.”
“A convenient bonus.” He laughed, leaning forward to kiss her nose. “A beautiful, adorable, sexy bonus.”
He stood and began removing his waistcoat.
“What are you doing?”
“What does it look like I'm doing?” He joked as he slipped his shirt over his head. “I'm joining you, my love.”
“What? No, Ben. We'll be caught! I can't afford to lose this job. I love it here…love your family.” Sophie's voice trailed off as she looked down.
“Love me, maybe?” He teased as he reached for the clasp on his breeches. “Who's going to catch us, Darling? Most everyone else traveled to Kent. Mr. Graves is here as well as Mrs. Bagwell but neither of them will venture up here unless summoned. We are free to do as we please.” Benedict knelt again and raised her chin to look at him, stroking her hair softly.
“Do not fret, Sophie. I would not jeopardize your position in this household. I need you here too.” He gently kissed her cheek. “Now do you want me in or not?”
Sophie blushed.
“What is it, Darling? You can tell me.” He soothed.
“I've never seen you, Ben. Or any man. I've touched you over your breeches but…but. I'm nervous. That's all.” She hung her head to hide her blushes.
Benedict chuckled.
“Oh Darling, it's only natural to be nervous.” He leaned in and kissed her ear. “I am quite well-endowed I've been told.” He whispered.
“Benedict!” She couldn't help but laugh as she covered her face.
“I've never fully seen you either, my love. My fingers are well acquainted with your charms but my eyes have not had that pleasure. Your skirts are exquisitely made to hide such treasures. Too well made in my opinion. And this soapy water hides everything!”
He smirked as he stood.
“So Soph…on or off?” He held his hand over the clasp at his waist. “Your choice.”
Sophie looked up at him, unable to hide her desire.
“Off, Benedict.”
His smirk broke into a wide smile as he twisted a curl with his free hand.
“An excellent choice, my Darling. Now close your eyes.”
“What?” She giggled. “ Whatever for?”
“I'm shy.” He joked as he feigned embarrassment. “Now close your eyes, Sophia.”
She stared up in amusement at him as he waggled his eyebrows and mimed closing his eyes.
“Oh very well.” She turned to face the wall. “They are closed, you silly man.”
Sophie heard fabric hit the floor and longed to turn around but she kept her face away.
“Scoot up so I can get behind you, love.”
She did and was soon enveloped in his arms. He grasped her waist and hauled her between his thighs. She took a sharp breath as she felt his length pressing into her back.
“Are you alright, my love?” He murmured as he pressed kisses into her neck. “Is this too overwhelming for you?”
“This feels…” She tried to think of a suitable word to describe all she was feeling “...divine, Darling. You feel divine. What should I do, Benedict?”
“You needn’t do anything, Soph. Just let me love you. Will you let me love you, Darling? Fully and completely? Please say you will. That you trust me enough to surrender in this moment.” He licked the shell of her ear before drawing the lobe between his lips and softly sucking. “You feel perfect between my legs, Soph. I hope I will feel just as perfect between yours.” He whispered as he captured her lips.
“Sophie…SOPH…BENEDICT!!!”
“HYACINTH! What are you doing out of bed?” Ben yelled as he stumbled out of the tub, trying to cover himself. “Return to your room, now, young lady. You are not well and should not be about.”
“What is going on, Sophie?” She cried, completely ignoring her brother. “Why are you bathing with him?”
Sophie was frozen. This was her nightmare come true.
“Hyacinth darling, what are you on about?” Benedict’s tone was now concerned and brotherly. “I am alone, Hy. Come here and let me feel your head.”
Sophie gawked as he felt Hyacinth's forehead and then winked at her.
“You are burning up, Hyacinth!” He cried as he picked her up. “Come, little sister, you are returning to bed. Your fever is causing you to hallucinate.”
“But..but.. Benedict…Sophie is right there!” She insisted as they both locked eyes with her governess.
“Oh little one” he murmured as he kissed her hair. “No one is there, Hy. I promise. Now back to bed with you.” He turned and walked out.
Sophie hurriedly got up, dried, and dressed. As she was leaving the bathing room, she ran smack into her would-be lover.
“Soph!! What are you doing? Get back in our bath, Darling!”
“Have you lost your mind, Benedict? We've been caught, just as I predicted we would, by your sister no less! And you attempted to lie to her! A weak lie too.” She spat at him as she pushed past into the hall.
He grabbed her arm, turning her to face him.
“Sophie! She won't remember a thing tomorrow. I dosed her quite well with brandy so she'll sleep well. If we both stick to the same story she has no cause not to believe what I told her. Everything is fine, my love. Now let's go finish what we started.” He whispered as he kissed her neck.
“Goodnight Benedict.” She pulled from his embrace and walked down the darkened hallway.
“Oh come on, Soph!! SOPHIE!!”
“Goodnight, Mr. Bridgerton.”

Quick question: How do you take a character that is canonically there but it's just a one off like Prince Friedrich or even Mr Bagwell and make them a whole person?
(asking because I got an idea about one guy from ADOW)
Ooh, well, also did with Miyako who is only mentioned.
I like to sort of brainstorm how they would fit in terms of any relationships - romantic, platonic, familial. Usually I write in terms of ships, so I like to think of how they would compliment the character. I also like to make moodboards, think of the vibe they would have (moody, happy, who have they lost, how would they be affected?)
- I recommend writing out a one paragraph biography: what do you want people to know about this character.
So with Bagwell, we know that he's a scholar, not the firstborn and quite sweet but I also like to expand on that, i.e give him a first name, I looked at writers and philosophers at the time and the personalities (I think for Bagwell, I looked at Percy Shelley and also wanted to compliment Edwina's vivaciousness
I also like to look at how other people in the fandom portray these characters (shout out to @phantomphaeton @newtonsheffield )
Prince Friedrich, given he's a historical figure as well, I can grab details from the person he's based on and also similar characters and (I think a lot about Prince Voronsky in Anna Karenina, Tom Hughes as Prince Albert in Victoria).
Importantly, have fun with it! Someone can't tell you this is ooc when we have so little about them lol! Especially with a character like Miyako, where we literally have one throwaway line about her, I more sort of looked at Baldwin's personality and the depictions of Verin, Frejya and Anastasia, his sisters and came to the idea of him siring a young woman much like them but also who cares for her cousins and family whilst also inheriting a tolerance for Matthew.
Excited for you are going to write!! I hope this helps!

"I ain't nobody."
"Nobody's behind this. I got a single word. That's it. Just my benefactors ID'd themselves by a single word. Outis. I looked it up. It's Greek for Nobody. That's who your benefactor is, Mr. Bagwell. Nobody."

So I don’t think Edwina did actually marry the prince. The way the queen words this is too impersonal for it to be about her nephew and the fact she’s just like ‘oh I heard’ doesn’t fit with the fact it would be a royal marriage and one she seemed ready to set up. I’m headcannoning Mr Bagwell but he just lives/works abroad

GRIPPING, THE SINK. SOmetthinggg to be said about Mr. Bagwell and how this show handles disability.
But it's tricky. Because his disability and treatment is affected by the fact he sucks and everyone hates him. Of course you'd argue it's an issue on its own he's the only disabled character and he is disabled As A Punishment which isn't ideal but could be worse.
However it still feels significant how nobody respects him and everyone insults him often based solely on his disability (I love Sammy but get real man) and he's just treated as useless and lesser because of it. Like it's just pretty upsetting after a while and just awful representation.

Not the two of them thinking the other is married 😭😭😭😭
Well I think they kind of assume that the other person is great, of course someone wanted to marry them at some point in the last five years.
But imagine Anthony, catching Kate’s wrist as she bows to him at the end of their dance.
“Thank you, Lord Bridgerton. It was lovely to see you again.”
“Where are you staying?”
Kate blinked at him, “I’m staying with my sister. My mother is here for the season also.”
An uncomfortable look swept over Anthony’s face before he covered it. “And if I wanted to call on you tomorrow would you be home?”
Kate looked shocked her, eyes widening in confusion. “I can’t imagine why you would want to.”
Anthony twitched, “Perhaps I’m not ready to say goodbye just yet. I’m afraid I have to insist, Miss Sharma. Either you dance with me three times in a row and we scandalize the entire ton or you allow me to call on you tomorrow.”
Kate relaxed at his charming smile, just as charming as she remembered. “I suppose I might be home.”
“I’ll see you tomorrow then, Miss Sharma.”
“Tomorrow, Lord Bridgerton.”
And it is, of course, a little uncomfortable sat across from Lady Mary and Edwina. Edwina sipping her tea as they wait for Kate.
“Well, this feels rather familiar, doesn’t it.”
“I have to say it does.”
Edwina sighed, “If I were you, I wouldn’t bugger it up the second time. You likely won’t get a third opportunity.”
“Very sage advice, Mrs Bagwell.”

no Edwina is married to an Indian and lives in her hometown in India, free my girl from the inbred prince who’s best characteristic is being “nice”, you losers clinging onto that white man when it’s canon she’s happy living her best life with a desi is sus af, I know what you are
Well, unless it was stated differently in s3 pt 2 (which I haven't seen except for small clips, none of which involve Edwina) then I stick by my point. Mr. Bagwell hasn't even been added or mentioned in the show, if that's who you are referring too (again, haven't seen s3 pt 2). I've shipped Edwina with a variety of characters, whether it be from Eloise to Friedrich or the original guy she marries in the books (who I also headcanon as Desi even if I don't talk about him much on this app) to Marina to even other random ocs, but Friedrich was the just main guy. It was never about race in hindsight but more because I wanted her to be a princess, which she deserves. It's kind of sus that, from all I've posted which was merely just fun headcanons, you thought it was something it wasn't. 🤔
I don't even know why you even came here being rude about a headcanon that, on one spectrum, is purely for enjoyment and on the other, about giving Edwina the respect she deserves (most of the Fredwina fans I interact with give her more development following s2 outside of even mentioning Friedrich, so it's not as if her whole persona is now revolving around this yte man). If you don't ship them, that's fine and, to be honest, I would have even enjoyed to see who you paired her with (because other people I follow sometimes ship her with someone outside the prince as well, not everyone has to like him) until you decide to get hostile and refer to me, and others, as "losers". If you don't even ship them, then why not block the Fredwina tag altogether? I know what you are, apparently.
I get not liking or really caring for Friedrich, as most of his character showwise is very simple and what is added comes from the fandom headcanon itself. You're entitled to that. But don't come to my page and try to write off something that brings me joy and amusement occasionally as something it's not, just because it doesn't suit your fancy. Is there a trope in fandom that happens with placing black and brown women with a yte man, especially in historical pieces, and the many murky, gross things surrounding it? Yes, I can acknowledge that and, in a way, see your apprehension for it in that manner. However, which you would see if you've even looked through my blog especially in regards to Fredwina instead of immediately writing it off, the ship itself does not fall into that trope (most from what I've seen and interacted with, so if you found something else then please share) and many of the Fredwina fans that I know have actively taken the time to display the importance in Edwina's heritage rather than write it off (I also literally have post that call out the show itself for how poorly it handled certain topics like this, so why would I be backing a ship that holds the problems that you so claim? ) Again, if you don't ship them that's fine, but don't try to paint it (and random people you don't know with little evidence) as something it's/they are not. Have a good day.

Hey sewblr -- if you want in on these garment patterns, I'm unlisting them at the end of the month when I leave home for the summer gig. 20% off sale to find them new homes!
They're cut, but the lady who made these the first time kept her patterns absofuckinglutely pristine, so I would give good odds that they're complete and re-makable. Most in the vintage size 16 range. (Of course, you can also frame the envelopes! Or they're a great size for journal covers.)
The original sewist, the late Mrs. Bagwell, was an extremely stylish lady to judge from the sewing portion of her estate, which we were lucky enough to nab. She liked her Simplicitys, but she also wrote away to New York for some of her patterns, and judging by the sizing, she was making most of her own wardrobe from them ... and also occasional family gifts.
Here's our Etsy shop with its Big Annual Away-From-Farm Sale to clear out physical products before we leave.
(Also, if you're looking for a specific late 60s/70s/early 80s pattern, hmu with the number and I'll check if it's in the box I haven't gotten to yet.)
