second story dump! this covers the end of act 1 and also noticeably has WAAAAY less finished art. from here memories become a little more hazy and starts incorporating stuff I thought of more recently.
Tumblr media
Heatwave was an intermediate chapter, a brief “break” with a more lighthearted, episodic story. this was a trend I wanted to establish for each arc where before things get serious, we have a more light adventure. Heatwave would’ve had the following subplots, all taking place on a particularly hot day of the year;
Kipper and Fink are met by Mr. Fyde, who’s having trouble controlling his avocado powers. Years ago, he figured how to go in and out of tree form, and travelled the world. Upon returning to Piqua, however, he made a shocking realization—the avocados he grows now ARENT avacados. they’re eggs. they’re mini fydes
Loogie meanwhile desperately tries to find Twice some kind of job/place to live as they can’t afford to have FIVE roommates. shenanigans ensue.
Bugg is just trying to find some shade, man. ANY shade at all, god help him
as you can imagine, all these goals would’ve been resolved somehow. i don’t remember fyde ever returning for a follow up story so his ending specifically im not sure but I REALLY wanted to emphasize the relationship between fink and kipper here. fink’s reaction to the wedgie magee incident was probably the most damaging to his ability to trust/socialize with other people in spite of being able to move on. kipper meanwhile ruminates on the incident a lot as well but is more regretful/remorseful than just upset. this contrast will be especially important when we get to
Tumblr media
fink does not remember his friends. he doesn’t remember his past. hell, he doesn’t even remember his own full name. all he remembers is using Body’s Delights’ new “Wipes of Wisdom” to clean up the burrito that the ginger haired guy sprayed in his face. and he’s not alone. all over the place, people are losing their memories, and all of these people used the Wipes of Wisdom. they turn to the wipes as their only solution, only to see that they should turn their attention to Piqua’s biggest billboard at 1pm.
that billboard is when Body’s Delights’ ceo, Theodore Murdsley, goes public for the first time. that billboard is where he tells all the braindead wipers to follow his every command. That billboard is when he tells them all to FIND captain underpants and FINISH HIM.
of course, kipper sees this. and while fink does too, by this point he’s been exposed enough to other people to not be directly effected. but almost everybody else is, or is at risk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
kipper teams up with twice again, but following behind is janitor master Mr. Ree and the eccentric Sargent Boxers! with the help of George, Harold, and Melvin, and Kipper’s roommates to boot, the group try desperately to broadcast Murdsley’s secret deactivation protocol to snap everybody out.
All the while, their previous attempts to reverse the wipes’ effects on their OWN instead result in fink reverting to that of a 6th grade bully. through fink’s regression, kipper has to truly confront his fixation on that period and the effect it had on others, and hopefully bring fink back to normal.
the day is eventually saved, and Murdsley disappears in ruin, and summer begins to draw to a close. Fink and Kipper reconcile and the future, for a brief moment, looks bright…
(to be continued)

I’ve been rewatching the Captain Underpants movie lately and I thought, what the hell, I’m bored, let’s figure out the timeline for the movie. 😂
(I was mainly inspired by @biolizardboils’s headcanon post regarding the books’ timeline)
First off, I’m gonna humor the idea that due to the significant lack of modern technology (i.e. smartphones, iPods, laptops etc.), the movie takes place in 1997, the year the first book was released.
Second, I’m gonna disregard the calendar outside of Mr. Krupp’s office.
Tumblr media
While yes, it says April 28th, it obviously hasn’t been used in some time, seeing as how it’s obviously still early to mid autumn, which helps narrow things down.
Tumblr media
Judging from what I’ve looked up online, the official start of the School Year for students in 1997-98 was August 11th.
Tumblr media
So, taking that into account, along with the tallies we see in this girl’s locker at the start of the movie, which shows about 9 and a half weeks into the school year…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Adding all those up (not counting weekends) I can conclude that the events of the movie start on October 16th, 1997.
And this actually lines up with Mr. Fyde’s comment about the upcoming Invention Convention on Saturday being the third one that month.

anyway here's a whole bunch of miscellaneous lore notes on that toh thing I've been spitballing in between doodles
George, Harold, Melvin
- Both of Melvin's parents are in the potions coven, which is what spurred Melvin to take an interest in potions in the first place
- Not all of the kids in the boys' grade have palismen yet. George, Harold, and Melvin already have theirs because they're all just that Skilled. George actually qualified for his palisman first, but he insisted on waiting until Harold was ready too so they could get theirs together.
- George and Harold have the same desire — to never lose their creative spark — and that's what Crackers and Sulu both latched onto. I imagine they each have their own reasons for choosing George and Harold respectively but that's a fun little mystery.
- Melvin says his desire is to become a great witch, but Danderella's the only one who knows what he really wants
obligatory Krupp family notes
- Ben used to have a huge interest in bard magic when he was a kid before he forced himself into beastkeeping for practicality's sake. Maybe he used to work in wrangling loose animals before he became a teacher?
- I'm kinda intrigued by the idea of Jasper being a covenless witch?? Not technically a wild witch, but he keeps putting off joining a coven. He says it's because of indecision but really it's because he's secretly against the coven system.
- Kipper is studying beastkeeping, though. Maybe beastkeeping is a Krupp family tradition?
the whole "Cap situation....."
- George and Harold legitimately didn't intend to curse Krupp. The spell they used on him was only supposed to hypnotize him for a little while...... but then it turned out that that "spell" was actually a powerful curse that suppresses free will.
- The curse overrides the effects of the victim's sigil in order to make their magic more accessible to the one controlling them
- Eventually the boys figure out how to switch him back and forth (turns out bard magic applies really well to the whole snapping dynamic) but now they have to deal with the problem of reversing the curse
- Cap, meanwhile, is just thrilled to find himself in a world where life-threatening monster attacks are just a normal part of every day life
- Krupp doesn't know he's cursed, but he has noticed that his magic has started to act up lately.....
other stuff
- Mr. Fyde is a plants instructor and Mr. Meaner surprises everyone by being in potions. Guess why they're in their respective covens >:3
- Ribble I think I want to put in oracle also for reference reasons, but Anthrope is the one I'm stuck on. Beastkeeping would be kinda funny but ???? IDK
- Edith's potion coven sigil may be fake, but her skill with potions is very much real
- Also, neither Edith nor Ree have palismen, which most other faculty agree is.....odd.....for witches their age........

Bonus content for ACIT because I had some pretty bad writer's block.
Hazel's relations with some tetocu ppl
Hazel and Melvin are a strange case because they're half siblings, and they dislike each other.
Hazel becomes George and Harold’s top customer, eventually realizing by the hiveschool incident that their comic books foreshadow how the monsters are created and which monsters will be a thing next.
Her friendships with Gooch, Bo, Jessica and the Sophies, Erica, Stanley, Dressy, and Dante are because she's able to make friends with other people just as easily as George and Harold, if not easier. And a person with friends is a person with connections, so it would also make sense that she'd be seen as a threat by Melvin.
She has a soft spot for the person she travelled back in time with. Not romantic, but platonic.
Melvinborg despises Hazel for being perfectly willing to get everyone on her side, while Hazel hates her brother for being such a spoiled, entitled brat of a cyborg!
She hates teachers, but she finds Ms. Yewh and Jerry okay. Mr. Ree is a bit of a friend. Plus Hazel got Yewh and Ree together!
In season 3, Cash Networth becomes one of Hazel's closest friends. Cash is surprisingly adept at giving her advice. In her Private Hazel persona, Hazel refers to Cash as "Commander Cashmere".
They keep in contact with a phone.
Hazel is also mid with Moxie, because she's the mother of Cara (Hazel's girlfriend).
Fyde is a tree by the time Hazel shows up, so…
And what about Lavatore? Well…
Hazel refers to Major Messy as Tom, before learning his actual name. This is an allusion to Major Messy's voice actor, Tom Wilson.
Even after she learned his name, she still kept referring to Lavatore as Tom. Her face when Ree told her the truth was indescribable.
In a non canon season 5, Hazel would try to get Lavatore and Yewh back together, but it goes sideways in some way

Chapters 3 and 4 of a Cyborg in Time are now up!
Chapter 3: The Terrifying Perilous Misfortune of the TP Mummy - Having pulled off too many toilet paper (TP) operations, Mr. Krupp has the manager of the store that sells only TP ban George and Harold from the shop to put an end to their TP streak, stopping the boys from pulling a prank that would make them legends--TP-ing Jerome Horwitz Elementary School! The only way that they'll get enough toilet paper is to steal the French TP stockpile ordered for their new French teacher, (who Mr. Krupp has a crush on) Ms. Yewh. But it's a tall order with a certain villainous someone determined to dispose of Yewh! After making an insulting comic about her and clogging the toilets, the combination of 48 comics the boys made (47 of which Krupp flushed that Jerome Horwitz could use and the last one Ms. Yewh found), all 500 rolls of the French TP Krupp ordered, and the gallon jug of de-clogger the boys used to unclog the toilets ends up turning the boys' new French teacher into a mummy obsessed with getting TP. They'll need the help of both Captain Underpants and the janitor, Mr. Ree, who is a former member of T.E.R.D.S. (Toilet Eliminator of Really Dangerous Stuff).
Chapter 4: The Squishy Predicament of Stanley Peet's Stinky Pits - Desperate to get their dream lunch, George and Harold enlist the help of their classmate, Stanley Peet to help win an avocado growing contest But it goes too far when the Melvins' latest invention accidentally combines the boys' pit and their science teacher, Mr. Fyde to make an avocado monster named Avocadwoe, who hates anything that makes any kind of loud noise!

Ideas/Headcanons about the JHE Staff
Ms. Ribble is single with no kids and lives alone with her cats.
Ms. Anthrope and Mr. Fyde secretly have feelings for each other.
Every once in a while, when they need a break from their jobs, Mr. Meaner and his sister will switch places with each other and do each other’s jobs. So far, no one has noticed.
After “unburning the bridge” in season 3, Mr. Ree and his brother sometimes do toilet experiments just for fun.

What's your opinion on the tetocu villians? Specifically the ones that appeared in that one moment in the season 3 intro
Interesting question and I thank you for asking me this.
The villains in general are hit or miss for me. Some of them have really cool designs and interesting personalities while others come off as bland, forgettable or not used to their full potential. It also doesn’t help that most of them are practically forgotten once they’re defeated. If they were more developed like the villains on Miraculous Ladybug, then you’d be seeing alot more entries in the Villains section for TvTropes. But since you asked me for the ones that appeared in the season 3 intro, I’ll gladly explain my thoughts for each of them.
Tumblr media
(Answering each of them in Clock-wise format)
TP Mummy: I’m pretty indifferent towards this monster. While her design is simple, I do like how she uses her TP powers. Plus the design works since she is essentially a toilet paper mummy. But I feel that her motivation to take over the world by stealing all the toilet paper feels OOC considering that Yewh never really had any ego maniacal personality traits.
DJ Drowsy Drawers: I personally love this villain. Her design is really creative and stands out since she’s essentially a DJ themed cyborg. Her sleep powers are also deadly along with her ability to shoot playing records. The writers were aware of her music theme and they went all out with her abilities. Her motivation was a little weak but it’s more solid since Herd’s prime goal was to make the dances be as boring and lifeless as possible. So I like her.
Socktopus: I find him pretty cool. It especially helps that he’s voiced by the John DiMaggio and I’m a huge fan of his work. You can really tell that he was giving it his standard tone of voice when voicing the Sock and I enjoyed that. His size and tentacle attack make him really effective as a monster. The only downsides would be his motivations and his take over the world plot. I feel it would have been beneficial to have him showing us how he can control other socks that aren’t his own so his threat can be taken more seriously. And while he does get character depth by saying that he only wanted dirty socks to be more loved, it feels shoehorned since he never showed any display of this during his screentime. If this was shown more then he could have been a more compelling monster. Apart from these factors, I still like him.
Tubbadump: I don’t like him as much. He comes off as a fairly generic monster that doesn’t leave a strong impression after his performance. And apart from his Godfather-esque personalty, he doesn’t really shine as much. Not to mention that he doesn’t have any creative or unique powers apart from moving trash.
Queen of the Zombees: I actually liked Ribble as the Zombee Queen. Mainly because her design was cool and how effective she was as a ruler. My only gripes with her is that we don’t really see Ribble’s personality shine through as the Queen. It’s like you could swap her out with any faculty member, zap them a few times with the bee invention, have them go mad with power and nothing would change. So it feels like a loss that Ribble doesn’t show her personality when she’s akumatized her. It also doesn’t help that she’s really lacking in the personality department compared to her colleagues.
Flabby Flabulous: He’s okay for me. Not exactly a personal fave but he works for me as a starter villain in the show. Not only does he work as an introduction to the zaniness of the CU cartoon but he represents the wild and inappropriate imagination two children can come up with when it comes to making characters. A guy with a giant butt is definitely something a child would think of for kicks and giggles.
The Splotch: Another favorite of mine. Along with being an Expy of Venom, he has a very charming and friendly personality when he interacted with the boys. He has a nice gentleman vibe while also being completely dangerous with his ability to control all the robes in Piqua. I also love that his character is meant to be a shadow counterpart to Captain Underpants and their fight was super entertaining. Even if perfectly symmetrical violence did solve anything, it was still fun to watch. I can only hope that he’ll find a way to escape his imprisonment and make an appearance in the next season(s). I’m still holding out hope that next season will focus on aliens!
Bigfoot: I don’t understand why he’s here in this shot. He’s not a villain and he’s actually a Wonderful Samaritan.
Avocadwoe: I have mixed feelings for this Akuma. On one hand, I love how effectively dangerous he was in attacking the heroes and reducing Piqua to ruins. I especially like how so much destruction and rampage came from the (formerly) timid and soft spoken Fyde. It really symbolizes how even the most gentle or harmless of people can unleash so much rage and fury. On the other hand, I kinda don’t like how this was what Fyde’s monster form turned out to be. When you compare him to the other faculty members and their villain/monster forms (Ribble as Wedgie Woman, Meaner as Flabby, Anthrope as Clogneta) it feels underwhelming that Fyde ended up with a plant seed theme. It doesn’t come off as very flashy or cool, especially if that may be his only akumatization. So again, Avocadwoe is a mixed bag for me.
Ratrick the Poopacabra: He’s not a personal fave but I do have a soft spot for him. Mainly because of how much character depth Ratrick has for feeling depressed along with frustration over not having his message heard. It only makes sense that he would lash out in anger and despair. And while I’m glad that he found comfort with Chupacabra, it is a little sad that we don’t know what became of him after his debut.
Altitooth: I don’t really like this youma either. Just like with Tubbadump, he comes off as rather forgettable since he was just a random guy who ended up becoming a monster and started terrorizing everyone. While that’s pretty much the norm for most of these villains, he doesn’t have an impressionable personality or do anything significant. He’s generic to me. But I do like his ice powers.
Barfalisk: This one is okay with me. Mainly because of its hyper aggressive personality and how it’s able to make people barf rainbows. But just like with Altitooth, it doesn’t leave a very memorable performance as a youma. Also I’m very curious to know how there are real barfalisks in the CU universe despite being created by the boys and how Erica was able to find one with no explanation. Really hoping they mention this in season 4.
Fur-cules: Another dud for me. I get that he’s a guardian of a secret fountain but his overall design, powers and personality aren’t that memorable or worthwhile. Plus he turns out to be a pretty good guy after his fight with CU and is eventually forgotten once the group leaves Ecuador.
Teachertron: In theory, the robot would make for a pretty great villain or even a tool for the Melvins. He has a sleek design and would be a formidable threat. But in the end, he’s not even a genuine villain or an Akuma. It’s just as an obstacle created for the Wonder Nerd duo to defeat the heroes. Plus it’s not like Melvin ever brings him back to terrorize the boys or CU. Though how Grace Wain forbade him from using these types of inventions, it’s fairly understandable.
Messica Gorgon: I actually like this Akuma. Messica works as a perfect opposite for the well kept and carefree Jessica as the Vimpire is a total mess and lashes out at everyone so they can be as miserable as her. Draining her victims of their joy and turning them into moping messes is a pretty creative power. Though it would be nice if she had another power to support her. Like maybe making huge hairballs of garbage to throw at CU and trap him. Apart from that, I really like her.
And those are my thoughts on each of these villains. i had fun writing my thoughts for each of them so I appreciate that you asked me this. And if you have any thoughts on my thoughts, you’re always welcome to reblog this.

Well, new art I guess. Still struggling with the AU and fixing the useless lore, even tho people are gonna hate it for sure. :/

I'm really proud how these came out and I didn't expect my useless and pathetic ass to make something this good.
--
And idk what to name the AU yet. (I'M STRUGGLING TO NAME IT. FUCK. )
--
So, I might work on a small fanfic for the 2nd art in here instead and it's gonna take me a lot to finish working on the mini fanfic. (the one above the "silly paragraph" that you are reading right now LMFAO)), and before you ask, yes. The full fanfic of the AU will be on "Wattpad" only (VERY SOON cuz idk which date will be released once it's finished). I'm still bad at writing tho- 💀
--
but there's a problem. I worried about what everyone in this fandom would think of me. I'm also worried you guys will attack me too if I explain the lore and the au itself. I don't wanna ruin the fandom, if I did then once again I'm sorry :(

Remembering
A/N: Hi! I forgot to tell you this while writing info about CMA, and it hit me a day or two ago tat I hadn’t. Chief Mate Anthrope has one more reason to hate Krupp and be so mean to King Mason: Lieutenant Michael Fyde of the Royal Navy. (I loved him too much not to think of a role for him) Fyde was a merman, but when Krupp began instating restrictive rules, he was like (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D4WO0mirjlQ) and left. He became part of the Royal Navy, befriended Ella, and married her. But all didn’t end well. Ella remembers this when Krupp gets back together with Edith and they’re on the surface world (I hope they make up in your AU soon; you’re putting a knife in my heart!). Chief Mate Anthrope sighed and held the seashell in her hand. This was the only thing she had left of Michael. Her Michael. What had happened? She let the memory flow through her as she took another sip of her beverage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Michael, where are you going?” “I’ve been asked by the king to return to the kingdom under the sea.” “What? Why?” “The king under the sea found out that I left and wants me to return. He considers leaving his kingdom to join yours treason. If I don’t go, he’ll destroy the Navy ships.” “If you do go, he’ll destroy you!” “That is a distinct possibility.” “You don’t have to go! I’m the granddaughter of Rasila, goddess of sailing! I beat the king once, and I can do it again! Come on! We can run away from here. I can take the Seaworthy and we can be pirates!” “Ella, you know we can’t do that. We swore to obey the surface king when we joined the Navy. By honor and duty, I must do this.” “Michael… I understand. But please tell me you’ll seek a way out. Please! Tell me you’ll try to come back to me!” “I promise, Ella. If only for you, I will return or else die.” “Michael…” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Their kiss had been the last one they’d shared before Michael had delivered himself to the sea king, who’d sent a storm to retrieve him. The seashell she held had been his last gift to her, a piece of his heart. And why had she lost him? Because of that… that monster dancing with Edith. The one who’d killed her family. Who’d stripped her of her beloved, and most likely killed him. The one who had the audacity to be holding his own beloved as if he deserved happiness. Well, he didn’t. He deserved to be six feet deep. He deserved to go be with her parents, who would no doubt have a few words with him. He deserved no mercy from her. And that was what he’d get. Everyone else may have forgiven him, but she hadn’t. And she wasn’t about to let him go unpunished. She wasn’t going to let him have the happy ending he’d denied her. Never. Hope you enjoyed, and if you want me to continue, I will.
Hmm, this does sound like an interesting story, loaded with irony, anger, and heartbreak. And yeah I’d also be poed at Krupp being a hypocrite if I were her. I don’t know if I can fit him into the canon storyline/fan fic right now because everything is slowly coming together and I don’t want to complicate the issues too much.
As for Krupp and Edith’s relationship in the AU, I will say this: I’m a huge fan of the romance, but if Krupp wants to get a happy ending in the AU, then he’s going to need to REALLY work for it. He wouldn’t be getting it as easily as he did in the movie, and I don’t hand out happy endings in my fan fics that easily….. ESPECIALLY if I’m writing out a character who has serious personality flaws.
I love happy endings, but I also firmly believe in ‘earning your happy ending’ and Krupp hasn’t been showing signs of that at the moment.

Characters in my “Lives of AU” Part 2
Kipper Krupp: Ex-bully who still is rough around the edges and tries to make up for his wrongs. Also he forms a band with his friends and likes to..... experiment with new substances until he finds himself having to deal with his uncle’s strict side, which, for him, is the first time.
(I don’t have detailed descriptions for his friends, but know there’s a secret cinnamon roll in the group ;) )
Jasper Krupp: Krupp’s hyperactive older brother who is golden in everyone’s eyes, especially his mother’s. It’s good for him but not when it leaves his little brother as the scape goat.
Mr. Fyde: Retired teacher who copes with his insanity, triggered by things he’s seen in the school, by writing some poems that catch the attention of his wife whom he finds a way to send them to, and later the authorities.
Ms. Ribble: A stale mean girl who wants to drag everyone down to her level, just to step over them and rise to the top.
Ms. Anthrope: The school secretary who’s boredom eats her alive until she meets up with an old partner and her past shocks everyone.
Ms. Young (original character): The preppy new counselor hired to replace the old one after he crossed the line and manages to make all the teachers jealous with her youth, naturally, given she’s only 24 and fresh outta college. The kids love her but some of her knowledge on certain subjects starts to concern Mr. Krupp, but they’ll discuss it later. Oh, and she’s Edith’s new best friend!
Lisa: A young legal immigrant who can’t seem to break the language barrier. Fortunately, Harold and George understand her well enough thanks to their favorite show LOS ANIMALES (en espanol) and Senor Citizen is willing to let a child teach him Spanish in return for him teaching her english. Also, she and George seem to get along really, really well. Just sayin ;)
Billy: A shy boy who is forced to learn piano by his overbearing yet well meaning parents, and comes to love it. He’s becomes so good at it, he convinces Krupp to restart the music program. Harold really likes him alot ;)
Gooch: A little boy who struggles with self esteem due to brain damage caused by a “careless” nurse and can’t seem to find his place in the world. But at least everyone loves him, even if the teachers don’t really understand his issues, or the fact he should be in Special Education.
Bo: A shy orphan boy who makes it by hiding in the clay room after school and lashes out at the rumors surrounding him
Melvin Sneedly:  A brilliant child who is so socially inept he can’t even believe someone would want to be his friend, but that doesn’t keep him from trying to find an acquaintance in George and Harold. He actually feels he can relate to them on a deeper level, but he doesn’t know why.
Jessica: A mean girl who can’t keep it up forever.
“Sophie 1″ (Later Cindy): Hey, what’s a girl gotta do to fit in? And why does she want to fit in again?
“Sophie 2″: A non-verbal girl who was dragged into Jessica’s clique just to be a door mat, but don’t worry, she’ll find her voice in a much different way than just talking!
Erika: A brilliant girl with sharp wit and sharp eyes on the prize. Do I even need to tell you, yes she’s gonna be president, but first she has to be school president. And it’s certainly is an adventure in itself, read about it in the school newspaper. Also, having a crush on her assistant is unprofessional, girl’s got to step it up!
Stanely Peet: A southern boy who needs better hygene, because adjusting to the north is hard enough, but people just love to make assumptions on what you believe just because of where in America you’re from, and that ain’t right!
Dressy Killman: She hates her last name, because life is all about love, just get on the same vibe man.... her non-traditional family exists for a reason.
Tommy: A young boy who finally conquers his depression, all on his own.
