It's true tetocu no longer holds the same meaning for me, but I made a tier list ranking every episode. Mostly from memory.
Season 1
I have not watched the first two episodes.
The first few episodes were GOLD, and funny.
Some later episodes were bland, sure. But funny.
Then we have the season 1 finale.
Code MB approaching! Code MB approaching!
These two episodes were gold. Melvinborg showed up, and it was fun.
Then we have season 2… oh boy.
Season 2
Many of the episodes are ranked lower to show how much I dislike this season. What's wrong with season two of tetocu? More like, WHAT'S RIGHT WITH THE SECOND SEASON?!?! In a nutshell, SEASON 2 OF TETOCU SUCKS ASS! Granted the concept could have been interesting, but the problem is that the Melvins don't even try to hide the fact that they're treating Krupp horribly.
I have never watched the first episode of season 2.
The second episode was funny.
That seems as good a point as ever to segue onto my main point of contention with this season: "The Harmful Horrors of the Harrowing Hiveschool." Oh boy, this episode.
The Melvins rehire Krupp as vice principal, and they treat him horribly. Then they inject everyone with bee DNA, and Ribble turns into Queen Zombee.
This episode is so fucking disturbing. With the body horror and stuff… and the ending? Awful.
The next two episodes are much more tolerable, thankfully, but still crap nonetheless.
Then there's the sixth episode.
In The Shadowy Syndrome of the Sinister Splotch, Melvinborg and Melvin get controlled by the Splotch, who forces them to tie up George and Harold. And they don't bring it up again, even after the boys free them?! Fucking awful. In the E tier this episode goes.
Melvinborg is meant to be a tragic villain, but he comes off as horrible.
The next episodes are more tolerable, but episode 7 is bland.
Then episode 9 shows us why MB sucks. I don't remember most of this episode. In E it goes too.
Episode 10 was fun.
Episode 11 goes in C, because it was meh.
Then the two half finale both go in C because I forgot most of them other than some scenes and how MB dies (Melvin saves George and Harold, erasing Melvinborg from existence; ding dong the bastard is dead btw).
If this motherfucker had never shown up, then we never would have gotten the best line in the entire first part of the episode:
"Don't do that again"
Season 3
Season 3 is the best season.
Most episodes are higher as a result.
Then we have the Camoflush episode. This episode is not as bad as season 2, thankfully. But it's horrid.
The rest of the season was great, and the finale… just sucked.
It was basically Team Rainbow Rocket done wrong, for lack of a better word.

We know that Teams Aqua and Magma only appeared for a handful of episodes in Advance Generation. But it’s nothing compared to what happened to poor Steven Stone.
Tumblr media
Really? The Champion of Hoenn in the games only appears in a single episode where he isn't even the champion, but a random rock collector? What the hell were they thinking?
Boy, Advanced Generation's writing was so rushed, they gave best champion one episode and then he was left without any of the screen time he rightfully deserves for the rest of the Gen 3 anime ;-;

RAINBOW ROCKET: RETRIBUTION AU
it has occured to me that i havent really explained my whole au well enough like in a contained post SORRY IF THINGS ARE CONFUSING! i talk about it a lot. this post will serve as a summary of everything with some links lol ill try to organize things better one day
Rainbow Rocket: Retribution (RR Retribution for short. RRR?) is a rainbow rocket au i made in which most of the bosses have been basically supernaturally or cosmically Fucked Up and cursed for their hubris! giovanni and ghetsis have joined to form rainbow rocket in secrecy after the failure of both of their previous missions, and with assistance from colress and the aether foundation they have used wormhole technology to locate timelines containing the leaders of other (once) powerful criminal organizations- with unusual supernatural power sources! if a new team is formed uniting all these evil guys with cool powers, they can take over the world easy peasy! right? well everyone sucks and is a loser and they all hate each other so no. it sure is funny though
BRIEF OVERVIEW OF EACH BOSS BELOW THE CUT !! this might be a long ass post ill try to keep it brief

I think Pokémon Black and White should get the ORAS treatment (in terms of how much they keep faithful/what they change with the OG game) in terms of remakes.
They should not go down the path of BDSP, which was basically beat for beat Gen IV just in a chibi art style and no Platinum stuff.
I want to see gym leaders and elite four getting amazing new outfits and new mons. I want every single Gen 1-9 Pokemon in existence. I want to see Team Plasma getting redesigns. I want Ghetsis to wear his BW2 uniform and have his BW2 personality and still be a bad dad, despite BW2 Ghetsis not treating N as horribly as BW. I want the BW2 leaders to be there, and Roxie to have purple/orange combo.
Tumblr media
Speaking of Marlon, I want to see Marlon still be a nice, kind-hearted guy, but he'll also be a Pokémon-stealing Team Plasma member instead of the purely good Gym Leader he was in OG Unova (you can thank a fanfic for that).
The possibilities are endless!

Part 2 of my rambles about how the Unova movies would play out in the EBWT AU!
As the movie begins, the narrator gives an introduction about the Pokémon world before it cuts to a scene of Ash and his Pikachu in a battle with a Pokémon Trainer's Druddigon. He commands Pikachu to use Thunderbolt on the Druddigon. As the Thunderbolt hits, the scene changes to a grass field where Keldeo is training with Virizion. It detects Virizion in the grass and uses Hydro Pump. As the scene progresses, and after Virizion draws its sword, Keldeo attempts to do the same thing but was unable to do so. It then uses its horn as the sword and clashes its horn with Virizion's sword. Later, the scene changes to rocky terrain where Keldeo trains with Terrakion. When Keldeo kicked, it sends Terrakion flying, and Terrakion crashes into a boulder, which falls onto it. It manages to lift that boulder with its strength and Sacred Sword. The two eventually clash weapons. Finally, the scene changes to a dead forest as Keldeo runs alongside Cobalion. A storm envelops the area and burns a few trees down in front of Keldeo. Cobalion notices Keldeo's actions and persistence and tells Keldeo that its actions are reckless. Keldeo exclaims that it wants to battle Kyurem and when asked when it will be ready, Cobalion doesn't answer; instead, it draws its sword, and spars with Keldeo.
The scene changes to a flowing stream, where the three Swords of Justice ask themselves whether Keldeo is ready to fight Kyurem. According to Cobalion, Keldeo hasn't fully learned the weight of the sword and is not ready yet. Keldeo overhears them and tries to convince them, but to no avail. While the Swords of Justice sleep, Keldeo sneaks out and heads to Full Court, where Kyurem resides. Eventually the three notice, and so they left to search for Keldeo. When Keldeo arrives, it challenges Kyurem to battle, which the Boundary Pokémon accepts. When the Swords of Justice arrive, the two are already in battle. During the fight, Kyurem breaks off Keldeo's horn with Shadow Claw, causing the Colt Pokémon to become paralyzed with fear. Terrakion attempts to stop the fight to save Keldeo, but Cobalion tells it not to interfere. This aggravates Kyurem, who shifts into White Kyurem and freezes the trio, to prevent further interference. Noticing its friends frozen, Keldeo is overcome with fear and flees from the battle. Kyurem, furious, angrily declares that their battle is not yet over...
Meanwhile, Ash and his friends are on their journey, boarding a train that leads to a city. Oshawott, Pikachu, and Axew are playing in the train car, later joined by Scraggy. The train stops at Windy Station. Cress notices a stall selling Darumaka lunch boxes and gets some for the group, along with water bottles and Oran Berry Pops. Because that is totally something he would do, especially given the personality I gave him for the EBWT AU XD
Anyway, Chili thinks it’s great that Cress is working through his grief over Cash Networth getting murked in Elesa’s gym. Cilan thinks that Cress’s trust issues have to go.
Ash has to carry the lunch boxes, yet he trips over Scraggy, sending the boxes flying. Fortunately, the quintent's Pokémon and Iris manage to catch the lunch boxes. As they all board, they accidentally leave Scraggy in the station just as the train leaves, and notice he is trying to run for it. Ash urges him to jump on, but the Shedding Pokémon can't muster the strength to do so, so Ash commands Snivy to fetch him with Vine Whip. She manages to catch him and bring him in, but suddenly, a Pokémon slips on the mountain, landing on top of the train. Pikachu notices and tells the rest to follow him. It was Keldeo, injured from its previous battle. As Ash and his friends find it, it warns them about Kyurem. Suddenly, Kyurem leaps onto the train and attacks the group, and soon was forced to jump off the train when the train entered a tunnel. Later on, they move to a cargo area of the train, where Iris tells the group about the legend of Kyurem, which she learned from the Village of Dragons' elder.
The train arrives at Roshan City and the group visits the Pokémon Center there so Keldeo can be treated. Nurse Joy identifies the Colt Pokémon to the group, and tells them the legend of the Swords of Justice. She mentions that according to this legend, the three arrived at a forest plagued by flames from a war between human factions. Terrakion shaped an escape route into the earth, Virizion used its speed to shield the fleeing Pokémon, and Cobalion escorted the Pokémon to safety. Within the ashes of the now burned-down forest, they found a lone Pokémon—Keldeo—that they took in as their own. Keldeo is training to be a Sword of Justice.
Later, when Keldeo has been healed (except for its horn), it walks outside the Pokémon Center with Ash and his friends. Chili expresses relief on Keldeo's recovery. Ash and his friends introduce themselves and Ash asks Keldeo what happened. While a Liepard and a Herdier battle on a nearby battlefield, Keldeo tells them what it did before it met them. It also reveals that to become a Sword of Justice, one has to defeat Kyurem. After telling them how it ran away, Keldeo douses its head under a pipe. Keldeo speculates that Kyurem is probably furious, and Ash realizes that that's why Kyurem attacked them. Ash questions it, asking if it's scared. He says that Keldeo shouldn't be scared just because it lost, which angers Keldeo. It vows to rescue the Swords of Justice right then. Ash and his friends agree and promise to go with Keldeo. First, they eat from the Darumaka lunch boxes. Ash and Keldeo eat quickly and simultaneously choke, which makes Iris call both Ash and Keldeo "little kids".
Meanwhile, at the harbor, the water freezes over. As an army of Cryogonal surround the area, Kyurem bursts out of the frozen lake. The Cryogonal head into the city, with Kyurem following and turning into White Kyurem. The transformation triggers another flashback of the elder showing Iris Kyurem's White Form, along with Black Kyurem. As Ash and his friends walk, the air suddenly becomes cold and the waterfall next to them freezes. Kyurem's Cryogonal army show up and attack them. The group flees, with White Kyurem and the Cryogonal in pursuit. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on Kyurem, prompting it to turn into Black Kyurem and retaliate with Dragon Pulse. Kyurem then heads to the top of the city's tallest tower. Pikachu repels the Cryogonal with Iron Tail and Electro Ball, and as more arrive to surround them, Keldeo flies away with Hydro Pump with Ash and Pikachu holding on tight. With the Cryogonal in hot pursuit, Ash, Pikachu and Keldeo head towards a bridge where Iris and the Striaton City Gym Leaders are. The Cryogonal use Ice Beam to freeze the river. Ash sends out Boldore to ride across the ice with Keldeo and escape.
The group retreats into the subway tunnels. Cilan tries to open the first door, but it's locked, so Keldeo kicks it open. As they walk through the tunnel, Ash says he's kinda hungry, to which Iris calls him a kid. Keldeo asks if there are any lunch boxes left, further unamusing Iris. They come to another door, which Keldeo attempts to break open again. However, Iris stops the Colt Pokémon and pushes it open, remarking that some doors are open. They arrive at the subway station filled with train cars and other vehicles from the past. Spotting a blimp, Iris gets an idea. The Cryogonal enter through the subway tunnels, and pursue the blimp that is piloted by Iris. Ash, the triplets and Keldeo use a train car to exit the city. Keldeo thinks about Iris' plan to use herself as a diversion so they can escape. Iris teases the duped Cryogonal just as Black Kyurem arrives and freezes the blimp with cold air, causing it to plummet towards the nearby lake. The Cryogonal then go to where Ash and the triplets went, going after another moving train car piloted by Cress and powered by his Baltoy. Ash and Keldeo hide behind a hut and retreat into the forest. All the while, Keldeo thinks about Iris and the triplets, while also thinking about the Swords of Justice raising their Sacred Swords to the air and delivering their oath. Ash asks Keldeo what the Swords of Justice are like, and the Colt Pokemon says that Terrakion is the toughest Pokémon he knows, nice and funny too. Keldeo says that Virizion is calm, smart, and the fastest of the three. Finally, Keldeo gets to Cobalion, the leader of the trio, who is stern in his training and says things he doesn't always understand.
Kyurem's Cryogonal are still chasing after Cress, who sends out his vespiquen and has it use String Shot as soon as they enter the tunnel. However, their train car gets frozen by cold air from Black Kyurem. The Boundary Pokémon and its Cryogonal army head out after realizing they've been tricked again. As Keldeo and Ash continue their walk, Keldeo asks Ash why he is helping him if they just met, and Ash says they are friends. They eventually arrive at Full Court, just as White Kyurem and the Cryogonal return. Kyurem lets out a fearsome roar, which frightens Keldeo and reminds him of how his horn was broken off in their last battle. Ash remains determined, but Keldeo backs up, trembling in fear, and admitting that he lied to Kyurem about being a Sword of Justice. Ash tells Keldeo not to worry, going in with Pikachu to handle things themselves. Keldeo tries to go with them, but his fear once again gets the better of him.
As Iris meets up with the triplets, Ash looks for the Swords of Justice. The sun rises, revealing the trio still frozen. Ash sends out Boldore and Pignite, having them and Pikachu use Flamethrower, Rock Smash and Iron Tail. Ash also tries to break the trio free with a pipe, but all their efforts are halted by the arrival of Kyurem. The Boundary Pokémon tells Ash to leave, but he still tries to free the Swords of Justice. Kyurem uses Dragon Pulse, but Keldeo arrives and interferes with Focus Blast. Ash tells Keldeo that he knew he'd come, and Keldeo is glad that Ash believed in him. The Colt Pokémon then admits to Kyurem that he lied before about being a Sword of Justice. Kyurem comes out and says that he knew all along, wanting to finish their battle. Keldeo finds himself trembling again, but Ash reassures him that he's going to be a Sword of Justice. Keldeo realizes that he has never been alone. Refusing to run this time, Keldeo turns into his Resolute Form, just as Iris and the triplets join up with Ash. The two battle until Kyurem eventually gains the upper hand on Keldeo, using Ice Beam to freeze his leg. Kyurem turns into Black Kyurem and charges up for Freeze Shock. Ash and Pikachu try to stop the Boundary Pokémon with Thunderbolt, but Keldeo fires a warning Focus Blast at them, wanting to keep fighting on. Breaking out of the ice with Hydro Pump, Keldeo uses Double Team and Focus Blast, the impact of the attack colliding with Kyurem's Freeze Shock freeing the Swords of Justice. The trio praise Ash and his friends and thank them for saving Keldeo. Keldeo continues the fight against Kyurem, but quickly starts running out of steam as the Boundary Pokémon knocks him back with Shadow Claw. Iris begs the Swords of Justice to step in, but they insist that this is Keldeo's battle, not theirs. Keldeo doesn't give in, avoiding Kyurem's attacks while remembering the advice given to him by the Swords of Justice. Keldeo uses Focus Blast and rams into the attack increase its impact on Kyurem, throwing it out of the arena.
The Swords of Justice praise Keldeo's progress, knowing all he needs to do now is use his Sword. Black Kyurem arrives and uses Freeze Shock, which freezes Keldeo. While encased in the ice, Keldeo starts glowing bright yellow and bursts out using Secret Sword. He gains the upper hand over Kyurem using this move, countering its Dragon Pulse as the Boundary Pokémon praises Keldeo's true power. Keldeo and Kyurem meet each other with Freeze Shock and Focus Blast. The Freeze Shock suddenly heads towards Ash, Iris, Cress and Chili, but Cilan jumps in front of them and gets frozen to death.
"Cilan!" Chili screams at the Boundary Pokemon, and holds Cilan's corpse. He starts crying.
The mood is somber. Chili is sad that his younger brother is dead, Iris and Ash are surprised, and Cress?
Cress is a fucking wreck ready to flatten Kyurem with a steamroller if one were available.
He has Panpour use Water Gun on Kyurem, and when the Boundary Pokemon is recovering from the damage, tells him this:
"You caused this, and you better damn well fix it, because he's my brother! And if the same thing happens to my other brother or the other two... I will end you."
Cress then talks to his Herdier, and finds out via his Aura powers that he can lick Cilan’s frozen body back to life.
With a little help from the rest of Cress’s team, Pikachu’s thunderbolt, Pignite, Chili’s Pansear, Lampent and Heatmor, they melt Cilan out, who doesn't remember what happened after he got frozen solid.
As Kyurem walks off, Keldeo changes back to his normal form, his horn restored. Cobalion tells Keldeo that he now knows the true weight of the Sword. Suddenly, the steel beams start collapsing, so the group retreats. White Kyurem uses Ice Burn to freeze all the falling debris.
The Swords of Justice congratulate Keldeo on becoming one of them, as do Ash and his friends. With that, the Swords of Justice recite their oath, this time with Keldeo joining them in his Resolute Form.

its Time to think about the Unova movies, but in the ebwt au. Starting with the Victini one
The movie opens as usual with scenes of various Unova Pokémon on land, in the sea, and in the air. Ash and Pikachu battle against a Sawk (in Black)/Throh (in White). The quintet keeps walking until they come to a fork in the road. They take the right fork on the road in Black, and the left fork in White.
In White—Victini and Zekrom, the screen then moves to a hot desert, where a man named Damon is traveling by foot. Damon comes upon a young Blitzle with an injured leg, and he calls upon his Reuniclus's Psychic to help him carry the injured Blitzle on his shoulder. Damon, Reuniclus, and Blitzle turn to walk back to a small village to find Blitzle's owner, a little girl named Luisa. Luisa's father thanks Damon for helping, but tells him to go home and that his plans are useless. Damon then tells the man that Eindoak Town can be revived, but he is again rebuffed.
At that moment, a dust storm appears in the desert and heads towards the village. A herd of Bouffalant are startled by this, and they begin to stampede towards the village. Damon goes to check out the disaster and holds up his hand, cueing the appearance of Reshiram. Damon then climbs on Reshiram's back and orders it to destroy the dust storm, which it does with power and ease. Damon then asks the townspeople, who are shocked by the Legendary Pokémon's appearance, to give him another chance.
In Black—Victini and Reshiram, the scene instead shows Damon and his Gothitelle visiting a town on a tundra. He discusses the matter of the Kingdom of the Vale's revival with a resident there but is again dismissed. He refuses to leave, asking to see Glacine, the village's chief. She and her son Luis are on a cliff working to find herbs with his Lillipup's help. Below, on an ice shelf, a group of Beartic become agitated when a giant iceberg collides with the ice. The cliff fractures, causing Luis to fall; then, as his mother and the first resident are trying to rescue him, the ice they are standing upon breaks off, stranding all of them in the path of the iceberg. Damon's Gothitelle saves Luis's Lillipup from falling into the water, and then Damon himself appears with Zekrom to destroy the iceberg. Damon and Zekrom reiterate their proposal, and, awed by the display, Glacine, and her village reconsider.
Near Eindoak Town, Ash, Iris, Cilan, Cress and Chili find a pair of Deerling in danger on a cliff face. Ash attempts to rescue them but begins to fall himself; however, he is rescued when Victini touches his foot out of his sight, giving him the ability to jump hundreds of feet across the canyon. Now separated from his stunned friends, Ash agrees to meet Iris and the triplets later and heads into a cave with the two Deerling. Victini shows Ash visions of the path he should take, allowing him to find his way through the cave. He reaches a giant cavern with a mesh of crystal paths, and Ash's presence mysteriously activates an orb and the crystals, before he is guided again to the cellar of Eindoak Town's castle and up to its balcony. There, he reunites with his friends.
Cilan explains that the castle is known as the "Sword of the Vale", and is said in legend to have flown to its current location from a valley far away. While exploring the castle, Ash, Iris, and the triplets share some macarons among themselves, but an invisible Victini keeps stealing Ash's macarons, much to his disbelief. The group hears fireworks outside, which causes Victini to choke on a macaron as the group realizes they must hurry to the town's battle tournament. In the ruckus, Ash runs into the invisible Victini—this confuses him for a moment, but he brushes it off. The group encounters a relatively plain-clothed Damon, who introduces himself as the castle's caretaker and offers to escort them to the town, which they accept.
In the town square, the group meets a woman named Juanita, who runs a Victini-themed souvenir stand with her Golurk (which is Shiny in Black—Victini and Reshiram). The town's mayor, Mannes, gives a speech to the townspeople congratulating them for the bountiful harvest they have collected. Mannes sends his Klink, Klang and Klinklang into a large music machine, starting the festival. He explains the tournament's rules: each competitor has been given a necklace and must challenge other competitors throughout the town, with losing Trainers surrendering their necklaces until the winner emerges.
In the first round of the tournament, Ash faces Mako and her Serperior, which he defeats with Pikachu's Electro Ball. Iris battles a Trainer named Tatsuki and his Emboarwith her Emolga, but Emolga uses Volt Switch, forcing Excadrill to come out in its place, against the rules; the referee promptly awards the match to Tatsuki. Juanita's daughter, Carlita, and her Hydreigon (Shiny in White—Victini and Zekrom) quickly dispatches of Cilan's Pansage. Ash and Oshawott later battle Tatsuki and defeat Emboar with Aqua Jet.
Meanwhile, Cress and Chili are wondering where everyone went, when Major Blanc attempts to shoot at them, causing them to duck.
Ash sends Tepig to face Leeku and his Samurott, and Samurott's Razor Shell effortlessly smashes Tepig into Juanita's stand of Victini trinkets. However, Victini covertly appears and powers up Tepig, allowing it to defeat Samurott with an absurdly powerful Ember. Carlita witnesses this, and, becoming suspicious, challenges Ash. When Ash's Scraggy attempts to Headbutt Hydreigon, it is knocked into the trees. Carlita sees Victini give Scraggy a powerup, after which Scraggy quickly defeats Hydreigon with a second Headbutt. Carlita surrenders her necklace to the judge, and then confronts Ash, informing the group of Victini's role.
Suspicious that Victini was the one who stole the macarons, Ash uses one to bait it out. It appears, and Ash excitedly tries to befriend it. Victini is initially receptive and playful but becomes alarmed as Ash swings it around enthusiastically, leaving the Pokémon of the group to coax Victini back to them. As the party travels through town, Victini hesitates in the shadow of giant pillars. Ash tries to force Victini forward, but Victini gets clobbered by a magical barrier around the castle area, delineated by the pillars and preventing Victini's escape. Upset, Victini flees back towards the castle. Later, while looking for Victini with Juanita and Carlita, they run into Mannes and Damon. It is revealed that Damon is Juanita's son and Carlita's older brother. He has been traveling and has not contacted Juanita in some time, which she reprimands him for. Carlita attempts to cheer him by telling him about Victini's appearance, but he says he already knew.
At Mannes's home, Victini is found leading a group of other Pokémon. Inside, Mannes relays the legend of the tribe now known as the People of the Vale: one thousand years ago, they were prosperous people who lived in a place called the Kingdom of the Vale, in a valley where the Sword of the Vale originally resided. They used a power in the earth called the Dragon Force to enrich their land, and all was well. However, one day, the twin sons of the king—the Hero of Truth, who controlled Reshiram, and the Hero of Ideals, who controlled Zekrom—began a war over their beliefs. Reshiram and Zekrom battled and drained each other's strength, and then turned into orbs called Dragon Stones. The kingdom was devastated, and the Dragon Force corrupted and chaotic, ravaging the earth instead of healing it. Desperate, the king asked Victini to lend him its power, and he created the Pillars of Protection and their barrier to control the flow of that power. Using this system, the king flew the Sword of the Vale, with all of the townspeople inside, out of the Kingdom of the Vale to a nearby mountaintop. There, the castle calmed the flow of the Dragon Force. However, soon after the castle landed, the king died, while the Pillars of Protection remained. The two regretful princes hid the Dragon Stones deep within the caverns of the Sword of the Vale.
While watching Ash and his friends play with Victini, Damon informs his mother that her dream—that the People of the Vale could one day live again in the Kingdom of the Vale, as relayed in a flashback—can now come true. He intends to borrow Victini's power just as the king did, and return the Sword of the Vale to its rightful place. Inside, without Ash and his friends, Damon relays his journeys over the past three years. Damon visited the scattered tribal settlements of the People of the Vale to try to find support for his dream to reclaim the land that was the Kingdom of the Vale. He was always rebuffed, until one day he heard a voice emanating from the chambers under the Sword of the Vale. He and Mannes investigated, walking on a crystal path when, inexplicably, the two found themselves separated onto different paths. Damon went on alone to find his Legendary dragon, and with it as his ally, he demonstrated the truth of the legend and his dragon's power by helping the leaders of the settlements. (Here, each version of the movie briefly shows Damon's dragon in the area from the opening of the other version—Reshiram assisting in the desert in White—Victini and Zekrom, and Zekrom in the tundra in Black—Victini and Reshiram.) The leaders agreed to help him—and as if on cue, they appear in Mannes's study in support of Damon's goal: the resurrection of the Kingdom of the Vale.
Victini dreams about its millennium trapped in the Pillars of Protection, witnessing the establishment and growth of Eindoak Town. The dream ends with the spirit of the king returning to apologize for the trap, then saying goodbye and fading away; Ash inexplicably experiences the dream as well and is awoken. Victini takes Ash, Iris, and the triplets to a balcony, where it shows them the sunrise over an ocean shore; Ash comes to understand that Victini wishes to go to the shore, and promises to take it.
Meanwhile, at the Sword of the Vale, Juanita and Carlita watch as Damon prepares to execute his plan on the observation deck of the castle. He sends out his Sigilyph, and it takes its place in a mechanism atop the chamber. Sigilyph's power awakens the thousands of Solosis and Duosion in the lower chambers of the castle, and in turn, the Pillars of Protection activate, rise, and begin to travel towards the castle. Alarmed, Victini flees from the ever-constricting barrier, eventually flying to the castle, where Damon requests that it lend him its power. As Damon reminds Victini of the king, it is briefly cooperative until it gets caught in another, smaller barrier. The smaller pillars force it into a mechanism that begins draining Victini's power, using it to power up the Solosis and Duosion. As Ash, Iris, and the triplets arrive, the castle slowly ascends into the sky, and the healthy Dragon Force flows out, returning to the Kingdom of the Vale and beginning to restore it.
Ash, Iris, Cilan, Cress, Chili, Juanita, and Carlita rush into the main chamber and find Damon torturing Victini. Horrified that this was her son's plan, Juanita demands he stop, which shocks and upsets him. When Ash attempts to destroy the machine draining Victini's power, Damon attacks the group with his Reuniclus or Gothitelle. Damon's Reshiram or Zekrom then arrives, and Juanita attempts to fight the dragon with Golurk, but Golurk is defeated easily. Ash once again tries to climb the mechanism, but Damon's Psychic-type Pokémon knocks him out.
While unconscious, Ash receives a vision from Victini, of the king warning Victini to never let the Sword of the Vale be moved again, because if it is, the Dragon Force would return to run amok, causing a repeat of the disaster that struck the Kingdom of the Vale, and threatening the entire world. This has already begun, but with the castle now above the clouds, Damon and his dragon are unaware of it happening. Ash awakens in the cellar of the castle, and Juanita begs him to forgive Damon, as he truly believes he is doing the right thing. She then reveals that one thing can stop Damon's dragon: the other dragon, which should still be deep in the castle's dungeons, where Ash had passed through at the beginning of the film. As the group explores the crystal cavern, Ash and Pikachu soon find themselves suddenly separated, as Damon had been; Ash and Pikachu go on alone. A voice challenges Ash, and then the paths begin to collapse, forcing him to the bottom of the cavern. There, he finds the Dragon Stone, and hears a voice asking him for his ideal (White—Victini and Zekrom) or truth (Black—Victini and Reshiram). He answers that he wants to save Victini and fulfill his promise, satisfying the voice, which reveals itself to be Zekrom (in White—Victini and Zekrom) or Reshiram (in Black—Victini and Reshiram).
Mannes arrives and meets Juanita, Carlita, Iris, Cilan, Cress and Chili having flown to the castle in a helicopter powered by his Klink, Klang, and Klinklang. He warns the group of the disaster on the surface, but by now they already know. Golurk returns to again fight Reshiram or Zekrom, but fails; however, the dragon's finishing blow is deflected by its opposite, which arrives with Ash riding on it. Ash jumps off at the courtyard of the castle, and then Zekrom and Reshiram engage in an epic battle in the sky. Inside the castle, Pikachu engages Reuniclus or Gothitelle.
Finally, Ash's dragon defeats Damon's, forcing it below the clouds, where they both witness the unfolding tragedy of the deadly Dragon Force. Pikachu defeats Reuniclus or Gothitelle and Ash climbs the mechanism, but Damon's dragon returns before he can destroy the barrier around Victini. Damon orders it to stop Ash, but it ignores him and instead destroys the mechanism to free Victini. Damon's dragon explains to him that it has heard the "land's anger", and then the two dragons blow away the clouds, revealing to Damon the devastation that the Dragon Force has caused. Panicking, Damon immediately becomes remorseful and begs Reshiram and Zekrom to help him stop the disaster. They agree, "lending their power" and redirecting some of the destructive Dragon Force into the Sword of the Vale—this powers up the Pokémon inside much more than Victini did, but also causes the mechanisms throughout the castle to become erratic, including the castle's flight.
Damon directs his family, Mannes, and Ash's group to leave immediately, fearing that the castle may crumble. Damon, meanwhile, insists that he will stay until the disaster is averted and the world is saved. However, when Ash tries to flee, the barrier generated by the Pillars of Protection continues to trap Victini inside, and Ash refuses to leave without it. Iris escapes with Carlita on Hydreigon's back, while Cilan, his brothers, and Juanita board Mannes's helicopter. As the pillars close in, the castle rocks, and Damon is thrown from it. Without warning, the Sword rapidly ascends into the sky, uncontrolled. All the Psychic-type Pokémon flee, leaving Ash, Pikachu, and Victini alone in the castle.
High in the Earth's atmosphere, the castle begins to frost over, and the thin, cold air begins to take a toll on Ash. Damon appears, saved by and now riding his mother's Golurk, while Reshiram and Zekrom attack the Pillars of Protection. But as the pillars are attacked, they are knocked towards each other, constricting even further around Victini. The pillars soon collide and close completely in the castle's courtyard, trapping Ash, Pikachu, and Victini within their walls. Damon tells Ash to hold on, as he is one of the dragons' chosen, and in a desperate bid to save them, Golurk fruitlessly tries to pry the pillars apart with its hands. Reshiram and Zekrom continue to destroy the pillars, but now several layers of pillars are in the way, and it proves too time-consuming. Inside the prison created by the Pillars of Protection, a weak and delirious Ash sadly apologizes to Victini for failing in his promise to take it to the ocean, before it becomes so cold that Ash's tears freeze and he falls unconscious.
Victini decides to use Searing Shot, which is too weak to break apart the pillars, but Ash is warmed and wakes up due to the attack. He witnesses Victini summoning up all of its power to activate V-create, its ultimate move. This finally destroys the Pillars of Protection once and for all, and the chaotic Dragon Force gets ejected into space—but Victini is nowhere to be seen. With the barrier and Dragon Force gone, Damon re-enters the castle and wraps Ash in a blanket that helps keep him alive.
Later, with Reshiram, Zekrom, and Golurk pushing the castle, Damon steers the castle down to the advancing tendril of the deadly Dragon Force. Just as Ash wakes up, he lands the Sword, calming the Dragon Force before it can destroy the entire planet. On the beach, Ash, Iris, and the Striation brothers stare out at the ocean, saddened by the apparent death of Victini. Believing that Victini sacrificed itself to destroy the Pillars of Protection and save him, Ash apologizes again before flinging one of Cilan's macarons toward the ocean. However, the macaron suddenly stops in mid-air and is eaten—and Victini reveals itself to be very much alive, now freed from the barrier just as it always dreamed.
Damon falls to his knees, overwhelmed with guilt that his actions had backfired so badly. However, Juanita consoles him by telling him they will have a lot of work to do to rebuild the Kingdom of the Vale. Victini sends Ash a vision of it helping with the rebuilding, and he understands that their time together is at an end. Bidding farewell to Damon, Juanita, Carlita, Mannes, and the other People of the Vale, Ash, Iris, and the triplets depart for new adventures.
During the credits, Damon and Juanita lead the People of the Vale in their reconstruction efforts. A single sprout is seen on the once dead land in the Kingdom of the Vale, implying that the area can indeed be revived. While traveling, Ash, Iris, and the triplets get caught in a windstorm created by Tornadus (in White—Victini and Zekrom) or a thunderstorm caused by Thundurus (in Black—Victini and Reshiram). They later travel through a town where the Team Rocket trio watches them from a café, with Peg passing by as well. Reshiram and Zekrom continue flying throughout the world, appearing in the skies in a variety of places.

i have made a blursed discovery via the EBWT au (if ur curious about the general gist here's the og post here ya go)
For a bit of preamble, the villains from the first 4 gens are surprisingly decently tall. The villains from gens 5-7 (yes, I am including Faba) are very tall as well.
Tumblr media
and then you get to Goldie
Tumblr media
Goldie is a bit short. She probably comes to Maxie's waist. She's the shortest Team RR member, probably
I can see Faba piggy backing her.

For anyone wondering why this post is so late
Anywho, have my OC evil Team, Team Zephyr!
This OC team is a love letter to the Pokémon Franchise and I came up with them after hearing that Archie and Maxie used to work for a third team.
There's, like, zero canon information about this team, and there's no official art of what it even looked like, so it's hard to tell if they were like this. I was just having fun with the concept
With that out of the way, let me introduce them.
Team Zephyr is mostly made of girls, but there's one boy. Their uniforms are white and mint green. Their team symbol is a small glittering butterfly.
Their leader is a young woman named Goldie. I named her that to keep the naming structure of Maxie and Archie, given that the Zadie name didn't sound particularly imposing, and her appearance would be basically that in this picture I made in SV
Tumblr media
I can’t draw to save my life, but I made reference pages for some of the Team Zephyr outfits to help me get a better sense of the character.
Tumblr media
Goldie is wearing a long sleeved sweater vest, mint green in color, emblazoned with the emblem of Team Zephyr on the left side. This sweater vest is over a white dress skirt. She wears a black skirt. Black Mary Jane shoes with white knee socks.
She has a purple hair clip in her hair, which is where she keeps her Keystone.
Goldie seems detached from the world. She thinks the world can be better, and as a result actually forgets that she wants to cause people to suffer. She's also a bit of a pageant queen, and she can pinpoint anyone’s emotional vulnerabilities after being in the pageant circuit for so long.
Her Grunts are all female. They wear mint green bodysuits, with knee high white boots and mint green gloves. The bodysuits have white highlights.
The grunts all have black hair in twin tails.
And then there's Admin Zach, Goldie's new right-hand-man.
Zach has freckles and golden blond hair and bright blue eyes and always has a “I’m better than you” smirk on his face. He wears round rimmed glasses, and wears a special variant of the Team Zephyr Grunt uniforms. This variant has the mint green and white inverted. But a pink bowtie is added to this outfit.
He acts kind, shy, sweet, gentle. And smart. Whenever someone calls them an all girls team, he's gonna have a snappy comeback.
Of course, that’s just a facade. Beneath his sweet exterior there is a narcissistic, sadistic, and tyrannical person who wants to be in charge of Team Zephyr. He hates Goldie.
He has Baby Pokémon, which he never evolves, and a Dark Type one (Asbol), to foreshadow his villainous nature.
Tumblr media
For Admin Judy, I envisioned a character based on Darla Dimple from "Cats Don't Dance". She is a bit of theater kid, but she's evil. She watches Goldie's pageants, so she actually knows quite a lot about the world of fashion, sewing, hairdressing, etc. she is much more of a strategist. She's quite mean and spiteful.
Judy has smoky pink hair tied in a ponytail with a white hair tie, and violet eyes. She wears a mint green and white polka dot dress, white stockings and white Mary Janes. She has a pair of white gloves on her hands.
She actually favors Bug/Flying types, which signify her preference for strategy over brute force.
Tumblr media
Admin Luna has short neck length brunette hair with a red streak and red eyes. She wears a white dress shirt, a mint green ascot/cravet, a red pleated skirt, and knee high leather boots.
She is a daydreamer, and a bit of a tough girl. She likes to be friends with everyone, but it's not easy to be friends with Goldie.
She's the only nice member of Team Zephyr.
She prefers big Flying Pokemon like Tropius or Gyarados, which fits her preference for brute force.
When they meet Maxie and Archie, most of them are not in their Zephyr Uniforms. Goldie shows up in full pageant girl glory, Judy is in a slightly more muted set, Zach is in a tuxedo, and Luna has, like, a hairclip or something.
Goldie even has her own Pokémon: A Crobat, A Mightyena, a Skarmory, a shiny Flygon, a Vivillion Pokeball Pattern (which she got from a trade in Kalos) and a Sableye (which can go Mega).
She's misunderstood, though
As for her backstory?
Let's put it this way: Archie and Maxie used to work for another organization known as Team Zephyr. They used to be friends, and they were both actually nicer than what we saw in ORAS. Maxie was actually Goldie's former right-hand-man. And Archie was Goldie's former flame, before she broke up with him.
Eventually, and this took place after the Hardenshipping hookup, it was clear neither wanted anything to do with Team Zephyr anymore. By this point, there was no stopping Maxie and Archie. Eventually, one of them just went "I quit!" and did so.
Since this AU has the ORAS versions of Archie and Maxie, and I don't think a man of science like Maxie would have been angry enough to do that, it means that Archie does. And Maxie followed suit when he quit.
That was basically the straw that broke the camel's back. Their breakup did horrible things to all three of them, making them mean and bitter.
In Goldie's eyes, Maxie and Archie are MIA, and it isn't until she meets them again that she reunites with them.
Archie hates Goldie, considering he hasn't broken up with his boyfriend Maxie yet.
Goldie is a bit fond of Maxie, seeing as he was her former number one aide.
Goldie herself is neutral on Archie.
She wants to improve Hoenn by any means necessary, and tries to set up the parameters for Perfect Hoenn's existence but it goes sideways in some way

The Pokémon Journeys Anime in my AU
As you all know, my AU is primarily based on the anime continuity with a bit of the Adventures manga and some of the main line games mixed in.
It seems only natural that the Journeys anime is thrown in the mix, because that's my favorite season for "what ifs".
This is how I'll write the Journeys anime to fit into the AU
Rainbow Rocket Returns?!
Yup, you read that right. Giovanni is bringing his Team RR back in the Journeys arc of this AU.
Unfazed by his defeat in Alola, Giovanni makes a new plan to defeat Ash by making Team Rainbow Rocket are return - with some new friends.
Yup, Shelly and Anime Shelly (named Isabelle here) are in this theoretical verison of the anime.
Isabelle (aka anime Shelly) is practically a bit of a rewrite situation from her canon counterpart. She's the type of villain who regrets being evil and Archie's new right-hand-man. Her first storyline centers around her desperately trying to not make Team RR fall apart thanks to Ash thwarting three of them.
Eventually, and this takes place a bit later on, she decides to try and befriend one of the people in this evil team.
She specifically notices Shelly looking down and decides they’ll team up to help her get over Archie (briefly) betraying her. This newfound friendship does wonders for both of them, and they practically become inseparable.
Shelly is mostly the same as she was in ORAS, but with an added detail to make them stand out more, with Shelly being more outgoing and Isabelle being more cautious and timid.
Isabelle is also a massive germophobe and refuses to get messy.
Their teams
Isabella's Pokemon: Cursola, Morgrem, Malamar, Shiny Gengar, Alolan Marowak, and Ribombee
Shelly's Pokemon: Bruxish, Chandelure, Mightyena, Shiny Crobat, Mimikyu, and Galarian Wheezing
Team RR have traded their Legendaries from their debut for something a little more plausible for evil team leaders.
Their new Pokémon are as follows:
Maxie: Dustox (shiny)
Archie: Goodra
Cyrus: Drifblim
Ghetsis: Lurantis
Lysandre: Misdreavus
Giovanni: Araquanid
(Side note: it took an absurdly long time to figure out what Pokemon Ghetsis and Lysandre should have. Everyone else was much easier to give new Pokemon to than those two, thankfully)
It's not just the leaders who have caught new Pokemon. Courtney, Maxie's right-hand-woman, has now caught an alolan persian. Tabitha now has an Lilligant, an eevee (which evolves into a Slyveon) and a Wynaut (which never evolves, because they do not want to look too much like Team Rocket)
Shelly and Isabella are also part of Team RR, bringing their numbers up to a terrible 11.
Much to Cilan’s annoyance (“Oh lord, now there’s ELEVEN of them!”).
The Team Magma Trio
Because most of Team RR generally don't come into direct conflict with Ash, they aren't sent blasting off nearly as often as Team Rocket is. The Team Magma trio does, though.
Tumblr media
Yup, the Terrible Trio from my version of Team Rainbow Rocket arc in the SM anime is back, and as unlucky as ever. And now they're looking to stir things up…
Yup, they're basically Team Rocket if Team Rocket were deliberate drama causers, rather than wanting to steal Pikachu.
Maxie is even worse here than in canon. He still has his ORAS personality, but more manipulative, arrogant, and he despises getting dirty and messy more than he does Ash.
For him, I also might have taken a bit of inspiration with Darla Dimple from Cats Don't Dance
Maxie and Courtney are here to be evil, and Tabitha is here because they just want to get yet another Pokémon, much to Maxie's frustration.
Major Blanc isn't sure how he fits into all this (because he doesn't have an obsession with analysis like Courtney, isn't rather haughty and smug like Tabitha, and he ABSOLUTELY isn’t a man of science like Maxie). This makes Maxie angry as it only reminds him of how Major Blanc turned on them the first time.
Unfortunately, Major Blanc is the Bewear equivalent in this AU that harasses Team Magma. Team Magma is splattered with paint all the time. Team Magma once made the mistake of piloting a Team Plsma mecha in his presence unknowingly….
Tumblr media
That isn't the only misfortune Maxie suffers, though.
Crobat basically falls into the loving Pokémon that injures James archetype, and Archie is near constantly throwing poor Maxie into the ocean, no matter how cold, hot or dirty it is.
Often, we end up with a Maxie drenched and covered in seaweed, and an Archie who doesn't care.
Maxie also has an incredible knack for attracting dirt and grime and gross stuff and reacting hilariously to it.
Once, Maxie was mistaken for a swamp monster because of how covered in seaweed and algae was.
Sometimes, he ends up stuck in some mud...
The point is, Team Magma isn't having the best of luck here.
Team RR stuff
one of the main points of contention with USUM was Team RR. as cute as the Team RR concept was, it was difficult to buy into it considering how little development there were for the introduced villains. So it would be cute if Team RR bonded with each other in Journeys and slowly grew into a real team of villains.
As for Archie, I’m trying to make him more accurate to the Archie we saw in ORAS, just with a little bit of the Penguin from Batman's personality mixed in.
Cyrus is a universal villain. He changes for no one, but he has a bit of Bill Sykes in his personality for flavor.
Lysandre is a lot closer to his game iteration than to the.... strange writing of USUM. with some influences from anime Lysandre.
Ghetsis is a lot closer to his black 2 and white 2 version, but he still rules Unova in his world
Cyrus, Lysandre and Ghetsis have a really fun dynamic where it's just:
ghetsis: I am strong! I beat Cyrus at arm wrestling!
Lysandre: Anyone can beat Cyrus at arm wrestling!
Cyrus: Hey-
Giovanni and the Magma trio have this dynamic where he recognizes that they're not among his better subordinates, but he appreciates them for their Undying Loyalty to him.
Giovanni respects the rest of Team RR because he considers them some of his best agents
But all of them can bond over one important thing: THEIR MUTUAL HATRED OF ASH.
Team Rainbow Rocket says that Faba does not count as a member after the events of Rainbow Fever. This doesn't stop Faba from dropping in often, to pester them...
Maxie: So you're Wicke. Silly me! I thought it was that obnoxious Faba, coming to pester me again.
During the Sword and Shield arc, Team RR wants Chairman Rose and Oleana to join, but the events of that arc basically have them say "nope".
Then Volo happens. Maxie says that he may be a lot of horrible things, but fond of Volo is not one of them.
Archie: You know, for once, I think I agree with something Maxie said.
I imagine Shelly and Isabelle as people who've come from an offshoot, not the universe where Archie was successful in causing Hoenn to flood.
Poor Crispin. He is stuck in Team RR for much longer than in the SM arc… much, much, longer.
