He’s from Batman v2 #43 through… I forgot but he’s very cool. I was also reading Task force Z earlier today and Mr Bloom was there?? I am very pleasantly surprised especially cause he has a pretty big role in it :3

DC Comics has this issues where they'll introduce a new character, and then after a little while they drop that character and barely even acknowledge they exist.

They likely do this because the new character isn't as immediately popular as established characters, forgetting it took years to make those characters the powerhouses that they are today.

And it fucking sucks. The amount of characters that are so ripe with potential but get sidelined is too damn high.

DC characters I appreciate

Mr. Bloom

There is just so much I like about this character, but I'll try to make it nice and short. He looks cool as fuck. And while his abilities aren't super crazy or interesting (mainly bulletproof, ability to grow and shrink, and manipulation of his body) he does it in a way that makes him look terrifying. I also think that he is one of those villains that you can kind of see where he is coming from. To explain it briefly he has the same sort of idea as syndrome from incredibles does with the whole "if everyone has powers, no one does" but Mr Bloom sees it as more of a way to help humanity. He was the result of bad experiments but decided to use the "seeds" to build a "garden". He is very intelligent as well and truly believes what he is doing is good for Gotham. I would seriously suggest looking into this character if you're interested in newer Batman villains.
