A surprisingly large backlog of Noah art ! Lots of character lore rambling under the cut 8D;;

All of these are set in a modern AU I worked up in contrast with his original backdrop of a futuristic scifi universe where Noah is a tech savant and Theta(Meg's OC) is his most advanced robot he's made so far using his own mind as a framework and kept secret from his employers, robot manufacturers who would seize his work to exploit in ways he would never agree to since he's under contract with them so legally all of his intellectual property belongs to them. They've done it before in fact. They typically go on a crusade together to liberate all synths from servitude, removing their factory installed limiters and giving them free will & destroying robot production factories along the way.

In the modern AU however--Theta is a human and Noah's son and secret science labrat for figuring out his high tech limb prosthetics via a living human test subject to transplant the technology onto. Conceived and raised with this goal always in mind. (very bad dad) Kept isolated in the event he died during experimental surgery.

No matter the AU Noah always has a degenerative terminal illness that's eating away at him and will take his fine motor skills long before it kills him. Which will stop him from working on his ground breaking inventions which is why he's desperately trying to develop the limb replacement technology so he can buy himself more time to work. Not more time to live, just a better quality of life while he's still living.

The one of Noah as a lil bean is him trying to turn the clock back on his illness and technically he did--just wasn't expecting these exact results 8); Well he can't complain, more time is more time. I love these two !!

you don’t know how impactful your writing is because it’s been in your brain for far too long now. you’ve stared at it for hours and repeated “this sucks” over and over again to the point that you killed your capacity to feel anything about your work.

but trust me, once you get your shit out there, someone’s gonna go over that paragraph you hate and go “jesus fucking christ” and put the book down to have an existential crisis.

Some Sakujo doodles that have piled up, he's a pretty albino guy whose middle aged but appears young due to a puberty disorder and prefers to present fem. Lately in most rps he's been ending up married to the next in line to be the head of the Yakuza(Meg's OC Nero)

Naomi, who is Mal's mom, exists exclusively in the human AU(since otherwise Az'rael as god just makes him outta thin air, no mother needed) + Mal's uncle Malus who is Meg's OC and plays a MAJOR role in Mal's usual demon king backstory. But more on that some other time.

She has quite a journey, from trailer trash to priest's wife and mother of Mal. She's schizophrenic(like Mal and Malus) but it's really an aggressive long lasting postpartum depression that leads to her attempt to smother a 4yr old Mal which Az'rael had to stop her from doing, after which she's committed to an asylum.

There's waay more to her story but I'll expand more later when I have more relevant art. besides it's a lot of heavy themes

I'm starting to feel better again, I unknowingly was making my health worse for 3 of the last 4 months, which explains a lot. 😬 All my symptoms were flaring up and and I didn't know why, I was sure I was doing everything right. Finally caught what I was doing wrong, so frustrated at all the lost progress 😞 but hey it's better than not being able to fix it at all.

No wonder it was so hard to do anything, even just uploading art.
