Netflix, I don’t know how to tell you this but a woman doesn’t have to be self taught to be a strong female character. It’s ok to let her know her limitation and ask for help. It’s ok to let her get angry, it’s ok to let her be jealous, it’s ok to let your female character have flaws and WORK on them. Your female character doesn’t have to become a master on her own to be memorable, it just makes her accomplishment feel unearned.

every time i think about how armand as rashid is a kind of visual echo of how he looked as amadeo i want to explode
like... his big brown eyes... all his little expressions... his hair...

btw if you borrow dvds or cds from library you can rip them onto your own blanks or onto your hard drive or whatever. librarians don’t care and they won’t know if you do it or not

I just think this is the funnier chunk.#Lan Wangji absolutely is the kind of person who has a perfect internal alarm clock for when it is time to get up.#He already has a dedicated sleep schedule. He is accurate within 10 seconds of 5am every day.#I think the Jiang disciples are most likely used to waking up around 6:00-7:00am#But the allure of having a guaranteed time keeper getting you up in the morning is worth the earlier hour.#I imagine they started outside lwj's door and slowly moved closer as the weeks went on.#Now LWJ has to cope with being way too warm in the night from all the extra body heat.#LWJ is not a fan of this but they scamper off immediately after he wakes up and they at least show initiative to follow routine.#NHS joins in only because he is a chronically heavy sleeper and needs this level of intervention to get up early.#His boldness would be a death sentence in the cloud recesses but here? Whole new game.#Yungmeng Jiang isn't a lawless land. It's just a land with different laws.#And one of those laws is to forcefully domesticate the catboy coded Lan boy through any means necessary.#Completely different tangent: I drew the thumbnail for this before I did comic 134. I then realized they had the same visual gag.#So I had to space this one out so it didn't seem like I repeated the waking up joke. he's under the row of flags on Neige's side of the room, next to the big Neige poster with the yellow background (look just to the right of the hand holding the apple)! he's REAL little; once you know he's there you can kind of see him in-game, but I only noticed him in the first place because I took a screenshot and was having fun zooming in on all the details!
I think that's either Hop or Snick and Dominic on either side of Neige, but if the others are meant to be anyone in particular I don't recognize 'em. though I do love all the absolutely terrifying implications of Rook having this. was this some kind of officially-published merchandise (and if so, why) or did Rook like...go hunting through the RSA trash to find this random student lineup just because it included Neige, and has had it hanging proudly on the wall ever since. (I mean, he definitely did do this, I don't know why I'm asking. the real question is why he hasn't cut out little pictures of his own face and stuck them over everyone else's yet.)
there is seriously SO MUCH in this room. how did Rook manage to keep this hidden for three years. also, somebody give this background artist a raise immediately.

I'll never recover from the absolute lunacy of the Wednesday finale. Enid really thought she would never see Wednesday again, went in for a hug, got rebuffed, and was totally like, "Okay, I hear you. BTW we'll fuck Tyler up if he tries something, please don't worry! I'M GONNA MISS YOU."
And then the very next time Enid sees Wednesday, Enid's in her wolf form, takes time out of a fight to give Wednesday PUPPY DOG EYES, and then makes sure Wednesday gets away safely. Then proceeds to nearly get her throat ripped out but at least Wednesday was safe!!!!
And THEN the next time Enid sees Wednesday, it's after Enid's scared something happened to her because none of her friends had any information on her! Imagine her surprise when small, dark, and pissed off appears out of the misty shadows!! Enid was so overwhelmed with every emotion ever and just HAD to cross Wednesday's no hug boundary!
And imagine her further surprise when Wednesday TOUCH ME AND DIE Addams pulled her back into a hug!! Enid held her like she never wanted to let go because there she is! Right in her arms!! Thank GOD!!!
It's even funnier from Wednesday's point of view. The last time she saw Enid, she left her crying alone in their dorm because she just had to get herself expelled. Wednesday, who was so jealous that Enid told a taxidermy squirrel she'd miss the creepy lifeless eyes waking her up, when we all know Enid really meant her. The same Wednesday who had a speech prepared to make her roommate feel better. Didn't want to say goodbye!!!
Wednesday stumbling around in the woods after almost dying in a crypt, being accosted by a douche bag barista who turns into a fucking MONSTER. And who comes to her rescue but her notoriously un-wolf werewolf roommate!! Wednesday was SHOOK. "Enid? The girl that cried when she had to say goodbye to me six hours ago?? MY Enid????" Her face was so shocked.
Then of course, the next time she sees Enid, she's getting linebacker TACKLED into a hug. And she was like OKAY FIRST OF ALL- but then the argument died when she looked at Enid!!
The crying face from this morning is now covered in blood and still crying, because the scaredy cat werewolf almost gave her life to make sure Wednesday was okay!!! Wednesday decided in that goddamn moment that Enid was hers!! NO MORE CRYING FACES, BABY, I'M RIGHT HERE. YOU WERE MAGNIFICENT.
Wednesday thought she'd never see Enid again, let alone see her risk her life for her.
Enid thought she'd never see Wednesday again, let alone be held in her arms for a lifetime.
