Layali Miami Lebanese Restaurant
4862, 11402 NW 41st Street #115, Doral, FL  33178   USA
T:  +1 (305) 403-0188                https://www.layalimiami.com/
Dinner on Monday 09/30/19
We decided to go with something different this evening so went with Lebanese food.
For appetizers, we tried the moutabel (baba ghanouj), tabbouleh salad, lemon cauliflower (seasoned, fried and served w tahini),  and stuffed cabbage.  As main course, I had the Layali lemon chicken (marinated chicken w artichoke, lemon and garlic).  Dessert was called “burma” (strings of dough twisted around chopped pistachio topped with syrup and pistachios).
It’s wasn’t my favourite cuisine but it was good to have a change.

Imagine Damian introducing the batfam to delicious vegetarian Arabic foods
Damian doesn’t have many opportunities to introduce others to aspects of his Arab culture. This is partially because it never comes up in conversation, but also partially because it’s hard for him to explain the significance of the calligraphy hanging on his walls, and little traditions and behaviors. But one thing he’s found that never fails to peak his families interest is food.
One day, when he was feeling particularly nostalgic, Damian took over the kitchen and got lost in preparing dish after dish.
Fattouch, tofu halloumi, moutabel with added pomegranate seeds (just the way his mother always made it), pita bread stuffed with falafel and fresh veggies. He made koshary the way one of his former caretakers from Egypt used to make. Batata harra the way two Lebanese servants would make in the early mornings. Mushroom dolma the way one of the Turkish guard would eat late at night. He made lentil soups and maghmour that went perfectly with fried rice. For dessert, he churned out rice puddings, namoura, and kunafeh.
The smells alone pulled everyone in the Manor to the kitchen. Alfred came in first, to see who might be making a mess in his kitchen. Dick naturally wandered in next, with Duke hot on his heals. Cass watched with sentimental eyes, not necessarily enjoying the memories of her time with the League of Assassins, but remembering the food that seemed to unite everyone there. Bruce was confused to see so many people sitting around the kitchen island, and was about to make a comment on it, but quickly shut his mouth when he heard Damian so enthusiastically explaining each dish he prepared, who he learned it from, and the significance of each one. It wasn’t often Damian was seen with a smile on his face, so Dick made sure to ask permission before sending Tim, Steph, and Jason all invites to what was about to be an early dinner feast.
No one had expected a meal cooked by a thirteen year old to be all that appetizing, but after that day, not a single member of his makeshift family could deny that Damian was likely one of the best chefs in the household.

I forgot who originally did this post but imagine that Bruce plans a culture day/week for half of the bat-family, and the eat different foods.
The first week is focused on Dick. The family mainly eat Xarista, bogacha, Pilaf, Schnitzel, and Xaimoko. Richard is very happy about this because he remembers how his parents used to cook him these types of food at Haly’s Circus. Bruce even bakes him stuffed peppers for his birthday and Dick is very moved he breaks down in tears.
The second week is focused on Duke and everyone eats fried fish, Turkey, Vegan Mac and Cheese, sweet potatoes, Okra, Cornbread, and fruit punch. Duke even uses this time to also thank Bruce and even bakes more of it for black history month at school. Not only does he bring it to those who are part of the black student union at his school, but he and the other members even serve it during lunch.
The third week is focused on Damian and the entire family eat Couscous, Falafels, Moutabel, Hummus, Vegetarian fried rice, Crispy bottom pan-fried vegetable buns with no yeast, and Asian chopped salad. Damian was so moved that he and Bruce agreed that for every AAPI month, they were going to eat Arab, Chinese and many other Asian dishes.
The fourth week is focused on Cassandra and everyone eats Dumplings, dim sum, Kung paö Chicken, Char Siu, Vegetarian Chow mein, Asian chopped salad, stir fried rice noodles with peanut butter sauce, and steamed scallion buns. Cass was also moved by this and when she talks to Bruce in private, she gives him a big hug because she can embrace her roots due to eating food from her culture.
The fifth and final week is focused on Selina and everyone eats Picadillo, Papitas fritas, Boliche, Camarones, Churros, Vegan picadillo, Ropa Vieja, Lechon Asado, and Sandwich Cubano. As everyone finishes eating, Selina thanks Bruce in private for baking all of the food and gives him a passionate kiss in the lips.
(Side note: Selina Kyle is Canonically half-Irish and half-Cuban, but DC has sadly erased her Latina identity.)

Took a break from cooking and went to dinner at a place we used to go to a lot but haven’t been for over a year now. I have to say that despite the restaurant being empty, the food was still as good as always and the servers still as friendly. . We had our usual moutabel, fattoush salad and cheese rakakat with lots of fresh hot pillowy pita. We shared two main courses: grilled prawns and grilled chicken with some pilaf rice. Best Cooking Institutions in Dubai
Beyond the threat that you are defeated by the choice of the cafe's decision on location (as I have it makes sense!), This is a small cover of 30 burger joints in Dubai, so you can choose your choice. Tern Instead, if you plan more things, learn the cooking approach. At that time you will suggest improvements related to this general information discovery from impressive lovers.
There are many places to visit in Dubai. The foreigners must visit them all. In order to Visit Dubai they need their own transport. They should not worry about transport if they don’t have, because in Dubai there are many Car lease Companies that provide cheap car rental with drivers (on customer’s request). This is best for the visitors. Because the driver will be one of locals of Dubai and will be comfortable with every one of the courses. He will drive you through the briefest course conceivable, accordingly sparing your time.
If you move to Dubai for most people from the pre-summer season, what can you do to make the opposite path of the hot and hot sun? Everything is considered, make a line for the warm temperatures that shine in the expert kitchen! We have collected cooking guides in Dubai, which may be behind fate.
Tumblr media
Culinary Boutique
A rich bistro cooking campus on Jumeirah Beach Road, owned by an Emirati woman. The duration of the lesson is preparing Emirati (general) sustenance, Mexican fish and fish, paleo and pasta, definitely through tapas and Thailand. Whatever I think about, is a mag-making workshop. I believe that is the thing I want to see again! Planned courses that are correctly ordered move a number of points in one number. Five and 3 hours, which costs better than the AED 295 to 495 rates. Individuals can take this course regularly, only by car.
Fairmont Palm
I tried hard to leave the Arabian Delight cooking class, which lasted ninety minutes. In a kitchen that shines with screens imagining Gaggenau studios, culinary virtuoso is shown to us by a number of social events consisting of six people (they can increase up to 12 people). The best approach is to prepare 4 Arabic mezze dishes - hummus, moutabel, babaganoush, and some vegetables that are fat, natural, laughing, and illuminating, you have the opportunity to go with open cards and character conditions. This precise splendor changed to AED155 (as a complete Mediterranean cooking class), however, Fairmont trades two or three different AED135 topical training for AED555 Friday which is constant for luxury food, for example, foiegras, Wagyu meat, increased wood and chocolate. I saw the last one for sure Valrhona!
ICCA
Awareness of the culinary direction put forward in the brain at Kennis Village for bosses and amateur chefs, finding the possibility of becoming London and the city and society. Classes are held at the beginner's kitchen table, driven with the help of the now-deliberate stove. The menu is set for each kitchen under the sun, in three, six or nine courses of three to 4 hours, from 1500 AEDs to 3 periods. Classes are held from Saturday to Wednesday morning from KL. 9.30 to 12:30 in the morning and around the night starting at 10. Thirteen, 30-16.30.
