He wants to be a human, and the cryptid enthusiast campers think he’s just a guy that loves cosplay so he looks forward to working there every year. 7 feet tall, using a regular skateboard as a penny board, he is originally from Cali, but he makes his way through the country every year for his hiking passion.

Context: The campaign I run for some of my best friends by the name of Ocean Shores is a monster of the week campaign located on the West Coast in the fictional town of Ocean Shores, Washington. (Not to be confused with the real-life town)

The players are a little over halfway through the entire campaign, and we have almost been running it for an entire year!

I first played him in a MOTW campaign, and he later made an appearance in our Curse of Strahd dnd campaign….. my ttrpg group have since moved onto playing pathfinder, and Oscar hasn’t made a physical appearance, so I did a redesign of what he might look like if he did.

New Aida design! I’m going to actually be playing him as soon as our GM gets the next arc ready, hopefully it’ll be something fire magic is safe to use against — For example, NOT in a forest! not sure how likely that is but we’ll see.

He’s albino now, and i changed his pants from leather to velvet!! the inside isnt velvet, so its only a sensory nightmare for anyone who happens to try and flirt with him by touching his leg or something. Me and the autistic guy i pulled by being a bad bitch or whatever. His backstory is really inspired by Aubrey Little, so obligatory gush about The Lady Flame here:

Him and Jack (another player character) are brothers by proxy of father figure.

BACKSTORY NOTES: Parents died in a house fire when he was 3, one of his earliest memories, the main reason he’s learning fire magic. His Finnish Maternal grandmother, who raised him, has never kept any secrets about his family from him (that he knows of a-wink). She even gave him the Family’s ancestral sword, the Firesoul Glass Rapier. Left home at 16 after his grandmother died, began searching for someone to teach him fire magic. Eventually came upon the city of Moline, Illinois, where he found a bookstore called “Dads”, run by David “Dad” Jones(They/Them). He began working there, and looked for a place in the area to call home. Discovering an Online friend of his lived in the city, He decided to call and ask if he could stay with her until he figured things out. He Just got back from a trip to “Zemlya Sannikova”, Russia. It's really beautiful in the spring.
