HI HELLO HAVE THE TRANSLATED LYRICS TO THE NEW RUSSIAN KINITOPET FANSONG
song - ДРУЗЬЯ НАВСЕГДА [KINITO PET ПЕСНЯ] | НИНТЕР (FRIENDS FOREVER [KINITO PET SONG | NINTER {author's nickname})
thanks to this post for posting about it on here!! Made me find it out (:
Udp: Thank to this post for a lot of corrections!
If im gonna change some things i will leave the closest to the original translation in the brackets to it will not drift it's meaning if anyone wants to use it!
Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Я другом твоим хочу стать - I want to become your friend
Дай побольше о тебе узнать - Let me know more about you
Будем вместе мы играть - We will play together
То, что в письме - лучше не знать - What's in the letter - better not to know
Задаю тебе вопросы: - Asking you questions
Зима, лето или осень? - Winter, summer or autumn?
Твоя любимая еда? - What's your favorite food?
Какое имя у зверька? - What's the name of your beastie? (as in like. small animal. it rhymes in russian i promise.)
[Pre-Chorus]
Доверься мне, мы же друзья - Trust me, we are friends after all
И ты со мною до конца - And you with me untill the end
Я всё узнаю про тебя - I will find out everything about you
От меня не скроешься - Can't hide away from me
В моих руках твои друзья - Your friends are in my hands
Ты их забудешь навсегда - You will forget them forever
Ведь у тебя есть только я - Because you have only me
И только я, и только я - And only me, and only me
[Chorus]
Бесконечное веселье - Everlasting fun
Только лишь для нас двоих - Only for us two
С тобой найдём мы увлеченье - With you we'll find devotion
О проблемах позабыв - All problems forgotten
[Verse 2]
С возвращением, друг - Welcome back, friend
Кажется был завершён сеанс - Seems like our seance was cut short
Но ты не бойся, коли вдруг - But don't fear, if that's so
Смогу восстановить баланс - I can fix the balance
Осталось сделать одну вещь - Only one thing left to do
В админ состав меня вовлечь - In admin list include me
В командную строку набрать: - Type into cmd:
“Кинито дать твой комп зас—” - Give Kinito my pc- (wow i accidentally made it rhyme. anyways, back to blank verse)
[Break]
Давай, давай, пиши! - Come on, come on, write!
Комп мне свой уступи! - Give your PC to me! (it uses Russian rude-ish-sland for the word computer but that is most likely for song purposes bc it only has one vowel while computer is a long word in both languages
Я не вирус! - I'm not a virus!
Я не вирус! - I'm not a virus!
[Chorus]
Бесконечное веселье - Everlasting fun
Только лишь для нас двоих - Only for us two
С тобой найдём мы увлеченье - With you we'll find devotion
О проблемах позабыв - All problems forgotten
Бесконечное веселье - Everlasting fun
Только лишь для нас двоих - Only for us two
Нам не скучно - это правда - We're not bored - that's the thuth (technically better in future lang like "we won't get bored" but in song was present bc song purpouses so i will leave it like that in literal translation)
Разве не согласен ты? - Dont you agree?
[Bridge]
А теперь… Дай мне доступ! - And now... Give me access!
Мы же друзья! - We are friends after all!
Скажи, ну хоть раз - Tell me, even once
Подвёл я тебя? - Have I let you down? (also technically in the present tense here but yeah...)
[Outro]
Целый мир, здесь я и ты - This whole world, for me and you (orig. "The whole world, here's me and you")
Места нет для скукоты - No place for boredom here
Всё подстроил под тебя - Everything i arranged for you
Теперь системой правлю я - Now the system's ruled by me
if ya are native/just really good in english i'll be happy if you check it for any mistakes or propose better/rhyming translation! that's just the meaning mosly word-by-word (:
#mostly for me and my comic-drawing urge#but yeah posting for every cool English speaker who wants to know what the hell he's saying (:#special thanks to multitran aka the best russian-english dictionary#kinitopet#kinito pet#kinitopet song#kinitopet rus song#just wanna mention that im actually a eng-to-rus translator for some manhwa#and i write my fanfics in two languages simultaneously bc half of my friends does not speak english and other half does not speak russian#so i feel confident posting this#/hj. this body did not see confidence from the last two years B)#also i usually translate from English. not to English. feels weird.

Meet the Artist: @kudriaken
Hi! My name is Anna, but I go by the nickname “Kudriaken”. I am an illustrator and artist who mostly draws fantasy. I am also working on my own story that I plan to someday draw as a comic. I think I always had the urge to draw stuff to accompany stories that I would randomly see in my head since I was a child. And I am continuing to do it as an adult. I take a lot of inspiration from books, manga, comics, songs, and shows. Sometimes you can see me doing fanarts of the media I am passionate about. But also a lot of precious people around help me to be creative. My actual education is not exactly art-related - I studied computer science. Weirdly enough it somewhat helps with learning art in some departments. I realized in the middle of my studies that my passion lies in the field of digital art, so that's where I am now.
Pleased to meet you, Anna! Below are some of her artworks that she has picked out for you all to appreciate.
For more of Anna’s work, be sure to check out her Tumblr, @kudriaken!

SURPRISE PIXEL ART TIME!!
I felt like making these little sprite edits of the Scott Pilgrim video game characters! Featuring the playable characters on top as well as Knives and some NPCs on the bottom.
I took some clothing inspiration from the anime while Ramona's is from a well-known Bryan Lee O'Malley drawing of her. Changing the colors on them was the fun part :) Also, colored-in mouths! Ain't that something!
The reason I made these sprite edits is that during the weekend, I went on a nostalgic trip to look at some sprite comics I liked during my teenage years...(around 2016) they were mostly Kirby comics, LOL. I usually read them on ComicFury now since Smackjeeves died out a few years ago...it was my only source of sprite-comic reading back then :(
Somehow, all of it gave me the urge to make one on my own...Well this is what I have for now, just a little overview of what the Scotty P. video game characters will look like in my own version of them. Hope you like!
(all original sprites were downloaded from The Spriters Resource and edited in Krita)
[EDIT: fixed Young Neil's hair a bit]
#my art#emilylsart#scott pilgrim#scott pilgrim vs the world the game#spvtw#ramona flowers#kim pine#stephen stills#knives chau#wallace wells#young neil#julie powers#pixel art#oof these took all day to edit alone XD#pixel art is hard kids#but it's worth it in the end :)#i love these little pixel skrunklys#also the possible scott pilgrim sprite comic will be the very first one i make...#...like in sprite comic history because there's really not many out there#i did a search yesterday and i found like one or two of them...they were not that great 🙁#so i said “let sprite scotty p. have some more love...in COMIC FORM!!...but first I plan”#and here we are#i don't know when it will be fully released...we'll see because i got other stuff on my hands right now

Responding to more asks!
Again just want to thank everyone for enjoying my weird little man and the weird little things i draw, i genuinely did not think my sense of humor and uh horror-y persuasion would jibe with so many other fans of this game... Which, come to think of it might have been my mistake, because 90% of us did pick dark urge and have a great time with it, to be fair. Seriously, anyone else was shocked by how hard larian went with the horror themes and gore descriptions in that game? That's probably what won me over LOL who knew fantasy could be so nasty, god bless them.
THANK YOU though i mostly wanted to point out that i never did any BTD art, so you MIGHT be confusing me for someone else! Unless you're speaking more generally just to reference an specific time online. Either way, im glad you enjoy what i do now! Similarly to the last ask i also did not expect people who knew me from my old stuff to be into my newfound interest in elves LOL
Hell yeah man, i haven't really been edgy like that for over a decade but i can't believe experiences like it shaped so much of the internet in our age bracket. Ridiculous lol. Thank you so much for sticking with me for that long, cheers to growing into mostly functional adults!
ALSO that comic was actually barbatus' work but i don't blame you for the mixup hehe
Wanna give this one a little 1-on-1 attention to say im glad my weird style has such an unusual upside for you 😭 that's something i never considered. Also i wasn't aware of that condition so you've given me a little something interesting to learn more about now.
I wasn't aware of that manga at all and to be completely honest i am usually a little put off by the typical manga art style, but this one specifically seems REALLY pretty and expressive, im obsessed with the cover that keeps coming up on the google search. I might have to take a peek at it! Thank you for the recommendation and i hope you have a lovely day
WRINKLY FUCKERS UNITE naturally people should draw however they want to draw, but i'll always be happy to hear that someone looked at my stuff and thought "hmmm im gonna make my grimaces uglier" LOL
I wasn't aware of wraith but it looks like a riot LOL I actually take great inspiration from the works of Jason Shawn Alexander and Sean Murphy! Also, even more so, I would say my boyfriend's (@barbatusart) highly expressive art style has influenced mine a great deal throughout the years. Thank you so much for the message!

-More LS Questions Answered-
Oh, yes, eventually! :D
He knows ABOUT mystic powers but he is not able to use them yet, much to Draxum disappointment.
Favorite things:
Donnies absolute favorite thing is asking questions. Carol only gives them little kids books- which while he does enjoy reading them as they have taught him a lot about the world outside- "trees look like this, ooooh and kids go to place called school to learn!" - they do not always interest him since he knows a lot of it is made up. - "A mutant mouse? Those don't exists... I think. And no human would give a mutant mouse a cookie!! ... well, except maybe Carol."
So, when he has the chance to ask questions about the outside world, how the machines they use work, ect. THATS his favorite thing.
Mikey's favorite thing is drawing. Once they gave him paper and pencils, he was FINALLY able to make the boring gray walls feel less cold. He can draw him and his brother in all the places in their books- and pretend that his world is a little less gray that way.
Least favorite:
Donnie hates boredom, and he is OFTEN bored in their room. They don't have much to do and are in their room for like... 90% of most days. So, any time he is in his room without anything to do. (already read all the books, Mikey is busy drawing, ect)
Mikey hates school time and anything to do with needles.
Donnie has a pretty good grasp on time. He has seen clocks on the wall and overheard conversations such as "Oh man, what time is it? We should be getting the mutants back to their rooms." *scientist looks at clock on wall* "Your right, it's almost 5!" - With these conversations scattered about and a few questions to Carol, he has it *mostly* figured out.
Mikey has... day and night down but that's about it. Their room light turns on during the day and off during the night (the bathroom light always staying lit).
You would be suprised how many basic facts Donnie is able to pick up through well timed questions, children's books, and Carol!
While Donnie has no good way of expressing his love of tech where he is, his intellect is shown through how much he DOES know about the world. He isn't as knowledgeable as most Donnies his age, because he had to FIGHT for everything he has learned- but he IS learning which I think is quite amazing as is.
Though, with Carol with them now, it has become much easier! :D
Hehe I feel like the scientist probably have DONE this before. Might do a small comic about this one day, who knows.
But, basic reaction: They would both LOVE it.
Weird birthmarks cause by whatever mutated them, probably.
Tbh I have NOT thought of that but for most turtle related activities like that I always think they DO just a VERY scaled down version. Like, they pretty much just feel the urge to make pillow/blanket forts more often in the winter and take more naps then normal.
No it's all good! Questions like these ones help me flesh out their story and my world a little bit more! Though, I DID skip any questions that I knew would already be answered later in the comic!

HEY bud, you're finally back, I'm so excited to see what you have covered on my drawing request and I can't wait to see al the chaos going down in your AU!!!! *chefs kisses*
Haha, yeah.
I wouldn’t exactly say I’m entirely back. Today just happened to be a day where I had time to unleash all the pent-up drawing urges I had since I barely had any time to do them these past few weeks.
Graduation is coming close for me after all and I’m juggling a bunch of stuff at the moment. So yeah, progress in here is still going to be painfully slow. But I really want to try getting this story out as soon as I could. Hopefully, it should be mostly or completely out before this year ends… 😅
Anyways, I did see your drawing request and I promise it’s coming along. I apologise severely for the long wait you had to endure. But it’s a comic strip I’m sure you’re going to end up liking :))

DOCTOR WHO TOP 10 - 11th Doctor
My favourite of the New Who Doctors. I started with his era and it changed my life.
10. The World Tree
A recent addition to this Doctor's EU canon, I utterly love this little story. It's another winner of the Paul Spragg Memorial, so you can download it for free on the Big Finish website. I urge you to do so.
9. The God Complex
Having previously written School Reunion and Vampires of Venice, I presume Toby Whithouse's reputation in the Who fandom was something along the lines of "he writes the fun, fluffy ones". The God Complex is his first darker and, well, more complex script. And it really, really works. I have a soft spot for most of his episodes anyway, but The God Complex is probably the most ambitious one. I adore the visceral liminality of that hotel, it's so good. (Also, I choose to ignore that nonsense reveal in The Time of the Doctor.)
8. Apotheosis / The Child of Time
These two basically form a two-parter, so I'm putting them together. Although, for the record, I prefer Apotheosis, contrary to what Jonathan Morris presumes in his commentary at the end of the comic strip collection. Mostly because I love Dan McDaid's art so bloody much, but also because of the atmosphere, setting, clever use of the medium (the stuff with the beard ROCKS), and nuns with guns. But The Child of Time is also pretty great as a big, satisfying finale full of fun twists. I said it before, I'll say it again - Morris is a great chameleon, perfect at writing excellent Doctor Who stories while using voices of other excellent Doctor Who writers. I mean, he admits in the commentary that he wanted to get the strips close to Moffat's style and I think he definitely succeeded.
7. Amy's Choice
It's a shame Simon Nye never wrote any more Doctor Who, because Amy's Choice is a stellar character piece. Toby Jones' Dream Lord is such a memorable presence and the connundrum this episode presents is really fun and unique.
6. Space in Dimension Relative and Time
one best the is it but One Year Doctor's eleventh in one-shot experimental only the not It's. clever really, really it's yet, simple It's. it read go all should you and story timey-wimey unique and fun really a in potential full it's to medium the uses Williams Rob.
5. The Eleventh Hour
The episode that hooked me. The episode that changed my life. I fully believe this is the best episode to show to someone new to Doctor Who.
4. The Rise and Fall / The Other Doctor
A two-parter, with the first part written by Al Ewing and draw by Boo Cook, and the second part written by Rob Williams and drawn by Simon Fraser. I've only read Year One of eleventh Doctor's comics published by Titan, but I strongly feel the story of the Doctor taking on SERVEYOUinc. In a way, the story feels like a conversation not just with Doctor Who's past and present, but also with it's future... It feels like the perfect antidote to Kerblam!.
3. The Day of the Doctor (and The Day of the Doctor)
Listening to Steven Moffat talk about The Day of the Doctor is weird. Everything around the writing and production of the 50th anniversary special seems like hell. And yet, the end result is something that's not just extremely good Doctor Who, it feels like it knows it's good Doctor Who. It looks simple, seems self-assured, appears to know exactly what it's doing. It's a minor miracle. And it's also amazing. Gallifrey falls no more. All thirteen and all that.
Note: This spot is shared between the episode AND the novelisation. I love both of them very much. Go read the novelisation if you haven't read it yet. It's really, really fun.
2. Vincent and the Doctor
Nearly everyone loves this episode and, well, I can't really argue with that. It really is special. I adore it, the greatest celebrity historical the show ever did.
1. The Doctor's Wife
My favourite New Who episode.
So, I am a huge fan of Neil Gaiman. That is probably not a shocking take on this website. My collection of his work currently includes 12 books (1 in Czech translation, the rest in English), 6 comic books (1 in Czech translation, the rest in English), and 1 script book. I love Neil Gaiman.
I love the idea of the Corsair. I actually roleplayed as an incarnation of the Corsair in a game of Cubicle 7's Doctor Who TTRPG at a Red Dwarf convention recently. In front of an audience of like four people.
Hell, I even made a fanart of the Nephew like 6 or 7 year ago. I love the poor Ood and I love the horror aspect of the episode, with TARDIS becoming an abject and unfamiliar place when she gets possessed by the House.
But the reason I love this episode the most out of not just the eleventh Doctor's era but all of the 2005 series is... Well, it's the relationship. The Doctor and his TARDIS. Or, the Thief and his Sexy. It recontextualizes the whole mythology, it recontextualizes the entire series in a way that's so moving and poetic and just... perfect. I love The Doctor's Wife.

Couple nights ago I went to a nightclub and I'm thinking about it.
The intention wasn't to go to a nightclub, per se! When halloween weekend gets close I get a urge to find some fun excessive NYC nightlife thing on theme, preferably some kind of play or haunted house. Selections were slim this year, but my pal Lori found this thing where we couldn't tell if it was a haunted house or dance club or what from the way it was advertised. Turned out a hotel in chelsea had upended a few floors to make a halloween high school prom for 35 bucks a ticket.
I'm 34. I was poor for the period of my life nightclubs would have been Actually Fun and now that I'm a little bit more stable the experience I have is not the intended one. 9 outta 10 times, they're kind of terrible. The people often suck, the drinks are overpriced, and there isn't much to do except get my picture taken in the decor or bop around on the dance floor next to Lori who, god bless her, can have a decent time anywhere. They're built for people in a different phase of their lives than I am.
That said, I still get a hankering to go to one like once or twice per year. The fact that I'm not the intended clientelle is kind of where the fun comes in. For like 4-6 hours I'm in an environment that's mostly extroverts, which is a rarity for someone whose big things are comics and ttrpgs. Strangers walk up to try to talk to me instead of me trying to put in the brunt of the effort in person. I'll not have to use some canned opener, or at least learn a new one from someone else. Sometimes it'll be a nice chat. Sometimes I'll make a friend that can fade out in a few months without anyone feeling guilty about it. Or sometimes I'll just peoplewatch from a couch with an overpriced cocktail while Lori talks about the atmosphere.
I dunno. There's something comforting about being in an environment built for someone else and then coming home to my wife, my apartment and my drawing table. I'm very lucky.
Someone explain this thing about finance guys and like nicotine lozanges though. Maybe I'm just becoming an Old Fuck but if you're gonna be taking stimulants in a suit they shouldn't make ya drool.

NSR Comic Ideas I'll Probably Never Get To
My brain worms often prevent me from doing the things I actually want to do, so here's a list of NSR comic ideas that live in my head that I just can't bring myself to actually draw. These aren't full scripts like I've written in the past, but more like general outlines.
Draw them yourself if you want, but tag/credit me if you do. It'd be fun to see other interpretations of these prompts.
Since they're mostly gag comics, I've split them into "Set-Up" and "Punchline" in-case you want to write your own punchline or don't want to spoil the joke with the misguided hope that I will someday bring these to life. Some also have "Extended" parts which I think functionally don't need to be there, but may add context or additional jokes at the risk of dragging it out.
Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy them, and hopefully someday I'll be able to make at least 1 or 2 of these real. If there's a particular one you really like, let me know and it might inspire me to actually do it~
Preview:
Game (Neon J. teaches 1010 a new game.)
Clothes (1010 discuss the concept of nudity.)
Simulation (Kliff plays a 1010 dating sim to gather intel.)
Shorts (Tatiana urges DJSS to reconsider wearing shorts to work.)
Singing (Kliff sings to himself in the hideout.)
Chill (Gigi reveals that he has ice powers.)
Wall (Kliff and Tatiana have an argument that turns violent.)
Magazine (Neon J. tries to find the culprit of a smuggling.)
Trade (Kliff makes a trade.)
"Game" (Warning: Violence)
Set-up: Neon J. offers to teach 1010 how to play a new game. They all agree.
Punchline: NJ throws a gun on the table and declares the game is "Russian Roulette."
Extended: The winner turns out to be Blue (as per the chess poll), but he is traumatized by the events. It turns out to be borderline pointless, as the losing 1010s are immediately restored by the factory. The 1010s attack Neon J. in retaliation.
"Clothes" (Warning: Suggestive)
Set-up: Green holds a meeting to discuss if the concept of "nakedness" applies to the 1010's considering that their "clothes" could also be considered "skin." White is annoyed at the prospect of such a pointless discussion, but the others make their cases. Two camps form: team naked (Red and Green), and team not-naked (Blue and Yellow). Team naked believe the skin theory, and team not-naked believe that functionally they can't be naked. Additionally, Blue believes that their clothes are technically made of skin since they're 80% recycled materials.
White refuses to participate to break the tie, so to settle this Green proposes the "underwear test," claiming that if they look more or less naked while wearing underwear will determine if they are functionally naked or not. If they look more naked with underwear, then they weren't naked before because the underwear would draw attention to their nudity. If they look less naked, then they are naked because now they're more covered up. He convinces White to model for them since he hasn't done anything to help move the conversation anywhere (the sooner they settle this, the sooner they can do something else). White agrees and models some underwear, but all the 1010s determine that he just looks stupid.
Punchline: Green bursts out laughing, revealing that this was just a drawn-out revenge plot. White destroys him and their "Days since White has Destroyed Green" board is reset to 0.
"Simulation"
Set-Up: Kliff hobbles into the sewer looking half-dead and is intercepted by Zam, asking what happened to him. Kliff explains that he was doing research for the upcoming 1010 battle. To meet that end, he discovered that they released a dating sim that was supposedly programmed with the 1010 A.I.'s input, so he figured that there might be something useful in it that he could use for a battle strategy.
"Ellie says: Please don't pirate games from independent developers!"
When asked why he didn't just use a guide or play through for his research, he claims that although each 1010 only has 2 routes (good and bad) plus an ultimate ending for playing all routes, the A.I. adapts to the player, so the information would only be useful if he played as though he was Mayday or Zuke.
Punchline: The content of the game was so expansive and the story so moving that he was burnt-out emotionally and mentally. When he recalls the final ending, he starts crying, mimicking Mayday at the end of the 1010 battle.
"Shorts"
Set-Up: DJSS was recently hired onto NSR and has been pulled into a meeting with Tatiana. Tatiana tries to convince DJSS that wearing shorts is inappropriate dress-code, stating that "There are children here." Offended, DJSS starts pointing out the obvious biases in her request, citing that Neon J. doesn't technically wear pants and Eve accidentally interrupts their meeting in her usual outfit. Tatiana acquiesces on this condition, "Don't come crying to me when you come to regret your choices."
Punchline: DJSS leaves the room in a huff, and begins muttering to himself. At that moment, Yinu and Mama are passing by as Yinu points out that DJSS often talks out loud to himself. DJSS and Mama stop to try and make small talk while Yinu zones out of the conversation. She starts looking at DJSS's leg hairs and grabs onto them. DJSS thinks that she's trying to get his attention, but she suddenly yanks them out, causing him to let out a physical scream which bursts out of NSR tower to be seen by the citizens miles away. When we return to NSR tower, DJSS has toppled over from the pain, and Mama lightly scolds Yinu as they walk away from the scene. DJSS manages to pull himself back into Tatiana's office, crying. To which she replies, "What did I just tell you about crying back to me?"
Extended: It is revealed that this is why DJSS wears platform shoes: to keep Yinu from reaching his leg hairs. He also switched to velcro shoes just to be safe.
"Singing"
Set-Up: Kliff is singing Vs. SAYU to himself in the meeting room. He's embarrassed, but can't help himself because the song is too catchy. He at least finds relief that no one can hear him in there but suddenly notices that someone is peeking in through a crack in the door. It's Zam who was secretly recording it on his phone.
"Ellie says: Don't record people without their permission!"
Zam apologizes and slowly closes the door and begins to talk away before Kliff bursts through the door and begins chase. Zam manages to get the phone to Ellie, who gets the phone to Mayday, who is confused about what's happening. Kliff managed to get back to the game room, but he's too late.
Punchline: Mayday plays the video and says, "Wow Kliff... you've got a really good voice." Zam (who is a little beat-up from the chase) agrees and says, "But he never comes out to karaoke with us." Kliff is confused because he thinks the fact that he was singing one of NSR's songs is embarrassing, but Mayday laments that it's a really catchy song, and she does the same thing sometimes.
"Chill"
Set-Up: It's a hot day in B2J's hideout. Mayday laments the heat when Gigi passes by and puts his hand on her forehead. To her surprise and delight, his hand is really cold. She asks him if he was just holding a cold drink, but he reveals that he's half-ice elemental, so he has a naturally low body temperature, explaining that's why he's always bundled up. Mayday asks if she can hug him, since she thinks a frosty hug would be amazing right now. He's a little hesitant but agrees. Mayday feels relieved from the heat, but Gigi starts sensing murderous intent from somewhere. He notices a darkness flowing out from the meeting room and sees Kliff peering out. He urges Mayday to stop, but before she can do anything, Kliff accidentally falls over into the room from leaning on the door.
Punchline: Mayday wonders why this happened and concludes that Kliff must have been jealous. As Kliff tries to say that "it's not what it looks like", Mayday says, "You're jealous that I'm hogging Gigi all to myself. You can have a turn too." Gigi and Kliff internally monologue about how dense she is, but hug each other anyway to keep up appearances.
Extended: As they hug, Kliff realizes that it actually does feel pretty good. And the next shot has Kliff apparently monopolizing Gigi from the others as the latter wonders how they got to this point.
"Wall"
Set-Up: Tatiana and Kliff are arguing about something when Tatiana suddenly slams her fist into the wall, narrowly missing Kliff's head. Flustered, he says, "You can't win by trying to seduce me!" She replies, "This isn't seduction you moron." Before they can do anything else, they both hear a "Ker-thunk!" as Neon J. has situated a table with a sign reading, "Get wall slammed by Tatiana! $5 [Or the rough equivalent in ringgits]" and a small line has already formed. Tatiana questions this as Kliff slips away from the scene. Neon J. declares that he takes any business opportunity he sees. She's about to tell him to stop when the crowd starts looking disappointed.
Punchline: Tatiana begins wall slamming various characters including:
Mayday, who squees about being wall slammed by Kul Fyra.
Eve, who Tataiana tells could just ask her to do this for her.
Kliff again, who wasn't done with their earlier argument and had to pay Neon J. double since he "got the first one free".
Extended: After all the wall slams, Tatiana is exhausted and Neon J. tallies their profits from the day and gives Tatiana her share. It is also revealed that the "table" was actually a 1010 with a board on his back covered by a tablecloth.
"Magazine" (Warning: Suggestive)
Neon J. has called a meeting for the other 1010s to discover which one of them brought a dirty magazine into the house. They ask where he found it, but he claims it doesn't matter and he just wants to know who it belongs to.
Punchline: The 1010s look to each other but remain silent. Neon J. expresses disappointment that they would disobey orders twice, but they claim that they can't determine who it belongs to without more information. Neon J. then correctly deduces that they all own copies of the exact same magazine, just hidden in different places. They are all grounded for 2 weeks.
Extended: In an attempt to make it easier to identify the culprit the next time this was to happen, Neon J. decides to give each 1010 a different fetish, so he can just match the content to the 1010. To his dismay, this just leads to them finding a magazine which miraculously contains all 5 fetishes.
"Trade"
Set-Up: Kliff sits on a bench in front of a fountain. An individual wearing a trench coat and hat obscuring their face sits next to him. Without looking at the individual, Kliff asks, "Do you have it?" They slide him an envelope. Kliff briefly examines the contents (seemingly a document) which can't be seen by the viewer. After tapping them back in, Kliff sets a USB drive on the bench. The individual takes it. "That should patch up most of your vulnerabilities." Kliff says. "Yeah. Most." The individual says with a square text bubble, revealing himself to be Neon J. As Kliff stands up he says, "I need a reason for you to keep coming back, don't I?" Neon J. is left alone holding the drive before squeezing it in frustration and curses under his breath. Kliff makes his way back to the hideout's meeting room where Mayday is waiting with a stern expression. She asks, "Did you get the goods?" Kliff tosses the envelope onto the desk and says, "I always come through, kid." Mayday examines the contents and smiles to herself.
Punchline: It is revealed that the document is a signed pin-up of Kul Fyra which Mayday excitedly hangs up in the room.

I understand not liking something or that it is not to your taste. But I am tired of things that I like being shit on constantly. If you don't like it or prefer something else, don't keep bringing it up or getting rude at someone else for liking it. Of course, this post is about the whole IDW vs Archie, but I believe it can be applied to many things.
I grew up with Archie somewhat, but only a Readers Digest every 4-6 months because we rarely went out. I grew up with disjointed comics and honestly? bad art. I have some of Tracy Yardley's back before he really got into a groove and colourers didn't really seem to care so there were lots of off-model colouring. When we finally got internet at my age of 14/15, I was immediately drawn in by the UK's Sonic the Comic. It was odd, it was trippy, and overall very memorable and fun for me (even if unintentionally). Amy was my favorite character and I would draw and write her like STC's scrappy tomboy Amy (doesn't help that I was doing archery at the time so I latched onto a cool female archer character). However, there wasn't very much recognition for my favorite comic, so I made do with Archie.
When Archie Sonic was canceled, I was upset a bit, but I saw it coming (fuck Ken Penders). When IDW picked it up, the consistent art and bright colours lured me in as well as building off of what Forces should've been (which is to say "good"). I loved Tangle and Whisper and for a bit Whisper was my new fixation (Rouge will forever be my absolute favorite Sonic female). But I noticed a massive amount of hate. I knew this would happen because fandoms rarely let a cancellation slide, let alone a fandom like Sonic. Especially to be replaced by another series with no returning original cast.
However, I was hoping it would disappear over time and Archie Sonic is remembered as "fun, dramatic, and mostly well written." especially as it was the longest running video game based comic ever (that I know of). But it hasn't. IDW isn't perfect, Ian Flynn isn't perfect, Sega isn't perfect, nor is Sonic Team. The writing can be off, Flynn does have the odd urge to put random music lyrics into dialogue awkwardly, Shadow is...off putting for any fan to say the least, the pacing could be better, and the constant delays are incredibly annoying.
Criticism is one thing, but constant hate and shit stirring is another. Please stop and be kind to your fellow fans. There are plenty of Sonic media for anyone. Whether it be games; Classic era, Adventure era, "modern" era, etc. Shows; SATAM, AOSTH, Prime, Boom, Underground. Movies; Sonic Cinematic Universe, OVA. Or Comics; Archie, IDW, STC, manga, etc.
So please calm down and either enjoy or at least appreciate what we have or go back and reread what you already love. Or make your own. That is always an option. I do sometimes, I even created a "Reboot" universe of sorts with my sister (though i am too scared to share it)

K/DA Lore pt.3
It took me a while to decide on how teen Evelynn would look like. So I held off my last post until I could finalise her design. Yes I heavily based her off Maddison Beers look at the 2018 worlds. Its a shame I wasn't able to showcase her fashion I had in mind. Perhaps I'll try drawing a full body reference in the future.
Time for Kai'sa! KDA's most shallow member! (I love Kai'sa guys I swear. It's riot that ruined her potential.)
As a child Kaisa would travel a lot because of her father's work (military) She would grow up as a model student fluent in many languages and educated in geography and history. Kai'sa is socially underdeveloped due to her "really moves around" upbringing. She also is the "Broken Ace" type (nomadic life), always striving for perfection in her grades and career but in turn suffers socially. This makes Kai'sa very awkward and oblivious to social cues when interacting with people outside of a professional manner. Because of this, she was typically outcasted throughout the many schools she attended. Others feared her like she was some sort of monster. A creature too mysterious and focused on achieving to be understood. School became a hunt to survive mentality to kaisa and nothing else mattered in her world. Yet the longing to belong was still there in her heart. After discovering dance in her teens Kai'sa would start to evolve. She never had hobbies or any indulgences in her life. All she knew was how to survive an ever-changing environment as she constantly moved with her father's tours and deployments around the world. With dance, she finally opened herself up to the idea of living over surviving. From ballet in Russia to hip hop in the Americas Kaisa would find the universal language to feel herself and to connect to those around her no matter where in the world she was. Kaisa grew to have a passion for the arts, she discovered she was diversly gifted in creativity. Her hardworking attitude and serious studying nature helped her achieve many degrees. As an adult, she would make her own studio the Firefly Collective (located in America) where she would share her passion and teach others the wonderful world of dance and would go on to create a popular youtube channel for her studio (think 1MILLION Dance Studio). She was happy being a teacher and was astonished to have been visited by Ahri and Evelynn. Kaisa wasn't too aware of K-pop artists so she didn't recognize them as celebrities but her students did. They freaked out when popstars Ahri and Evelynn entered their dance studio. Seeking out someone to be their choreographer. Kaisa's students urged her to take this opportunity and so Kaisa became the third member of kda.
*Yes Kai'sas lore was mostly ripped off the comics. But I was able to add more context
*in 2018, one year before KDA debuted she won Hong Kong's "Can you dance?" competition. This success was what put her on Ahri and Evelynn's radar. (Kai'sa was 21 at the time)
*Kai'sa had a complete personality overhaul when she discovered dance. She went from the recluse, studyholic to the hippie, free spirited type.
*In her life Kai'sa has lived in 10 countries: China, South Africa, South Korea, France, America, Australia, United Kingdom, Russia, India and Argentina.
*She was born in south africa (as a omage to her default voice actor)
Art by me
Here's a link to my playlist of the music I think suits this pre KDA Kai'sa
(Edit links to the other KDA girls)

Jitterbug Perfume - Immortality, Sex, and Discomfort
Originally posted January 31, 2024
As is apparently my preferred introduction: It has been quite a while since I have written anything on my computer, but as generally happens after I manage to read or, dare I say it, complete an actual, tangible book, I now am doing so. I type this knowing that Google docs is using my writing to train adolescent artificial intelligentsia, and theoretically I could make the switch to another software, but as is the case with Adobe, the monopoly’s Matrix-style robotic belly-button parasite keeps a firm hold on my psyche, with an extra bonding agent in the form of a powerful distaste for the effort that it would take to learn an entirely foreign user interface, just to marginally weaken the hold that Google has upon my intellectual property, when they are already in possession of basically all of my identifying information. They could probably construct an AI that would perfectly replicate my online presence, idiosyncrasies and ego included, and the only thing that they would have to do at this point to make convincing blog posts from my perspective is post them about as regularly as an agave flowers. If anything, if this particular post goes up on the internet at all, maybe that’s a red flag- I would have to be a mind outside of my own in order to return to a creative project even after my attention span’s honeymoon.
Whatever. I finished a book, and now I am compelled to write. Actually, I finished two books. The first was Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn, the first of the Mistborn trilogy, one that i meant to read way back in high school because some youtuber that I liked at the time had recommended it for its magic system- magic systems, as a concept, I would continue to grow increasingly interested in; the books would remain untouched on my shelf. The second was lent to me by one of my housemates, though I can’t remember the conversation that led to that happening- Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins.
Actually, now that I’m thinking about it, the declaration about me being compelled to write after reading books is only true in the barest sense. Yes, I do feel an urge to write after being exposed to writing that I like, but by no means does that mean that I actually end up, or even begin for that matter, writing anything at all! Also, that same urge doesn’t just apply to writing. I consume manga at a frightening pace, and though by saying this it may imply the opposite sentiment: I do not say that in order to brag- the speed at which I go through webcomics and manga alike is, frankly, detrimental to my experience of the media in question, as I end up retaining almost nothing of what I have had my head immersed in so much that my neck develops knots that hold it at a painful right angle to my torso. I don’t really stop and breathe in the images that the mangaka probably spent hours and hours drawing; if anything, I mostly pay attention to the words written on the page which, in turn, presents a palpable irony in that the reason I have felt unable to read traditional books in recent years is that my attention span balks at walls of text!
Hey, authors! I won’t read your book even though I’d probably like it, because it doesn’t have any pictures in it! Show me your work once you’ve learned to draw!
Oh, holy shit the irony goes even deeper. Even though I feel that creative urge when I read manga, all of my attempts at making comics or even working to be skilled enough at drawing to feel confident in my capacity to do so are stopped in their tracks by the thus far insurmountable obstacle of not being able or willing to pay attention to the thing that I’m drawing for long enough to finish anything. Good lord.
______________________________________________________________
Anyway, the way Jitterbug Perfume was written really affected me. I still can’t tell if I liked it very much (the writing style), but to be fair, I really loved the way George Elliot’s Middlemarch was written, but I have been thus far unable to finish that book by virtue of its inexhaustibly prim density; therefore I suppose that the content of a book and its writing style tend to stay fairly separate considering my enjoyment, and the former aspect seems to have a stronger influence on whether or not I actually manage to make it to the back cover.
In this case, the content was excellent. Jitterbug Perfume was described to me as being about immortality, smell, sex, and beets, and I can’t honestly think of a better way to describe it. It’s a jigsaw puzzle of a story, if all of the pieces on the table were from different moments in time, and at the end, when the pieces fit, you are left with a complete picture that somehow shows an unbelievably cohesive, intimately personal tale, despite the massive scope, time-wise (there are very important events that take place before the advent of Christianity, and plot points of similar influence continue to happen all the way up until modern day).
Now that I think about it, the quality of maintaining a story’s characters and relationships, and especially keeping them as tantamount to the direction and tone of the piece, even when the scope of the story has expanded to include over two thousand years of history, even if that history is embellished upon or entirely invented, is an incredible achievement, and one that I think deserves unending praise. So frequently I find myself put off of pieces of media when, though I once enjoyed them for their characters’ dynamics or their dialogue or their writing styles, those aspects eventually were beaten out of the story by the growing scale of the events taking place. It becomes very difficult for me to continue to be invested in the little things that I like, and for that matter, for the author to continue stipulating on those little things’ presence, when suddenly the fate of the world is at stake, or the consequences of failure become so dire that there is no longer room in the work for mirth.
Jitterbug does this by keeping the story focused almost entirely upon a static set of characters. In all honesty, I do tend to find it a bit grating when a book throws pretty much all of the people that will be introduced over the duration at me all at once, and I also tend to get annoyed when a book switches perspectives back and forth frequently, as it is inevitable that I will be more interested in one of the followed points of view above all of the others (or vice versa, that one of the points of view is especially dull). Let it be known, though generally the book in question pays most attention to the characters that happen to be changing the most, it does do this.
The upside, though, is that even as the setting around the characters morphs drastically with all the changes associated with the world and culture since literally the year 1, the reader is still anchored in the everyday realities of the main characters. The tone of the story stays heavily reliant on each of their emotional states and their changing dynamics. The plot directly follows in the tracks of the characters’ desires and aspirations. As opposed to them being “interesting” people to be around in situations that they have no agency in, they are the driving force of the plot itself, and in this way the book can get away with a mind-boggling amount of in-universe time passing without it ever detaching the reader from the story, or impeding their willingness to care.
That feeling of detachment is exactly the sentiment behind me dropping To Your Eternity by Yoshitoki Oima, a manga that also tackles the concept of immortality, but in a way that I eventually found extraordinarily grating.
Some pieces of media, especially if they continue for a really long time, and even more especially if they are about characters that live much longer than a normal human lifespan, end up bestowing upon these characters a very particularly draining character arc: eventually becoming the most fucking boring people ever. This isn’t really, I don’t think, a product of repetition of personality beats -One Piece, for example, has a main cast that are each fairly one-note, but to me they remain compelling because of the unrelenting new situations, characters, and settings that they rotate through- rather, a common sentiment on the concept of immortality is that a person who is subjected to it will elect that it is a much smarter thing to avoid attachments and emotions as a way of staving off the pain of repeated loss. Combine that with the formula of introducing a bunch of new people, spending a lot of time with them, and then killing them off and meditating on how pointless it all was, and you will have on one hand: a philosophically engaging story about life’s purpose and value; and on the other: one that I will not be reading anymore. Fuck you.
Each time skip in To Your Eternity, my dejection would build, and even though I did enjoy the concepts therein quite a bit, I eventually quit reading when there was a time skip that jumped over so many years that the archaic setting I had been enjoying was gone, along with any characters aside from the protagonist that I may have liked, and I no longer had the will to continue.
Anyway, the point is that Jitterbug Perfume deftly avoids this problem by holding the human experience as an inalienable thru-line. Longer-lived characters don’t become harder to identify with- if anything they become more dear to the reader, as the sentiments that are the crux of their longevity are easily identified with. Their goals, whether they are aware of it or not, are the preservation of emotion and connection- things that the reader can presumably empathize with quite well.
The writing style I would describe as “irreverently confident and connotatively confusing.” The majority of the instances in which Robbins describes anything in this book are unrelentingly riddled with descriptors of every kind, and often of opposing kinds- many sentences use several adjectives to describe a single thing, and the adjectives often carry wildly different connotations. A single line may depict something as both gorgeous and disgusting, just by virtue of the words chosen. Jitterbug is more than willing to yank the reader back and forth like this, and the literary whiplash results in this sort of all-encompassing feeling of mild discomfort. The prose itself is captivating, but in less of the fashion of a ballet performance and more so like a lapdance that really walks the line between attractive and nauseating.
Regardless of whether or not I enjoy the style personally (I still can’t really tell, but I’m leaning toward the favorable side), it strikes me as being exactly what the author wanted. Off-putting, certainly, but one hundred percent intentional. A significant portion of the book’s subject matter consists of topics and sentiments that are at most culturally taboo, and at least playing fast and loose with modern morals and sentiments, especially when it comes to sex. This book, which I really enjoyed, which made me smile and frown and think and even write… will not shut the fuck up about sex.
Every character is steeped in it. Every metaphor is constructed with it. I feel like I could purchase a brand new copy of this fucking thing and its pages would already be stuck together. To get a sense of my feelings (historically) about this- one of my favorite quotes of a friend of mine is from when they asked me: “Hey [my name], would you rather have sex or be stabbed with a knife?”
My point about the “motion sickness” writing style being that it works in favor of the subject matter. The fact that the whole novel is written in a way that makes the reader a little nauseous, figuratively, creates a tone that is much more conducive to, well, not necessarily the intimate discussion of what our society views as crossing lines in the social sand or what should or should not be allowed, but rather the regular enunciation of kind of uncomfortable topics. Combined with a fairly unconcerned and playful tone, the book is able to deftly accept the discomfort that arises from a journey that holds sex as a central theme while progressing through several different settings -cultural and chronological- all with differing views and judgements about a traditionally awkward topic.
Anyway, I liked the book. There is a sentence in there that goes: “Like jugged bees, the funeral orations droned on (134).”
If you think you can make it past all of the disconcertingly flowery (ha, ha.) descriptions of bodily fluids for long enough to make it to that absolute banger of a quote, this may be one to check out.

How do you manage to stay motivated with your series?
It's been more difficult to be motivated lately due to IRL stuff and my job but if I'm being honest, it's you guys that help me the most :3
There will be times when some of you send in asks that give me ideas to draw. And on days where I don't feel very motivated I'll see one of these asks and will get the spark of inspiration to draw something and sometimes that keeps me going, after I draw something small for a shitpost sometimes the urge to draw is still there so I either continue making funny shitpost or work on main story comics (I mostly lean more towards shitpost cause they're more fun and aren't as much work to do lol)

Hello and Welcome to Letters For Shiratorizawa! Here are all the rules and information you'll need for this blog :)
Firstly, please note that this is a one-person show! All comics are made by lil old me, all notifications are checked by lil old me and I do not have a team with me! I am in education full-time with a part-time job, so I'm pretty busy. With this in mind, please be patient with updates or quality :')
Tendou Satori, eccentric middle blocker of the Shiratorizawa Volleyball Club, has not only stolen Coach Washijou's camcorder from his office but has also roped some of his friends and the starting line-up into his shenanigans. Now they're receiving letters from students across schools, asking (not so) meaningful questions or requesting stupid funny dares.
My main blog is @grungeeuvu if you want to see some normal hq fanart.
RULES AND INFORMATION BELOW CUT:
RULES: -Nothing NSFW! All questions/dares must not be inappropriate/sexual. Not only are there minors on this site but several of the characters themselves are also underaged.
-Please do not harass me if I do not do your ask: I doubt this will happen, but sometimes I may not be comfortable with a ship or scenario to draw and post it.
-If you do not like my interpretations of the characters, that is your business. If something I headcanon doesn't fit with yours, please do not get angry or try and attack me for it.
-Absolutely no hate speech is permitted. This goes for racism, homophobia, ableism, transphobia and the like. If I feel you have gone too far, you will be blocked from this account.
-No reuploads! Reblogs are fine ofc but please do not try to frame my work as your own or post it on other sites without my permission. If you wish to use a panel as a profile picture, feel free as long as you credit this blog.
INFORMATION:
This blog will mostly be framed as platonic unless there is an ask directly looking for ~relationship~ content. If that is the case, the ships that will turn up will be UshiTen (Ushijima x Tendou), ReonGata (Reon x Yamagata), SemiShira (Semi x Shirabu) or KogaGoshi (Koganegawa [Dateko] x Goshiki). This is my disclaimer now that these are my ships and the ones that will be semi-canon to this blog. Please be respectful of that.
This blog has a linear-ish timeline: events prompted by the asks will remain canon. For example, if Tendou is dared to do a wheelie on a bike but breaks his arm, he will have a sling for the next few prompts. Or, if someone is dared to mess with Washijou, Washijou will remember this if he turns up again. Another detail of this will be 'arcs', where the team are at an away game and has brought the camera.
And another reminder is this is a one-man band. I draw most of these comics/answers during my college day or between homework and I do not have anyone to play backup artist during exam weeks, etc. This means there may be occasional hiatuses and I urge you to be patient with me when that happens :)
