It was late the cool air from your window hitting your skin so softly. Little goose bumps spread across your body at the feeling as the moon light danced through your silk curtains. You were tossing and turning not able to sleep. After about an hour of restlessness you finally decided to do something that always helped. Your roommate wasn’t home yet either so you could even be a bit loud.
You grabbed your vibrator from your drawer laid it beside you as you stripped yourself of the few clothes you had on. The cool air on your cunt made you shiver the sensation feeling strange but nice. You closed your eyes placing the little purple buzzing bullet to your clit moaning at the contact. Mind making scenarios in your head as you let your other hand wonder to your nipples playing with them as well.
Changbin had come home, as he walked to his room though he could hear you. Oh boy could he hear you. The thought of you in your room touching yourself made his head spin. Sitting his stuff in his room he made his way to your door ‘she has it cracked?’ He said to himself as he peaked into your room. The sight of your body being illuminated by the moon light as you touched yourself made him go crazy. He stood in the door way as he watched you palming himself through his shorts.
Your mind was going crazy but nothing was enough right now, you whined to yourself just wanting to be filled by something. Bins mouth was open looking like a dog with his tongue hanging out and the drool dripping down his chin. He was getting off at the thought he could be caught at any point. ‘What if you catch him? Would you be mad or maybe ask him to join?’ He thought to himself the last question had him shoving his hands in his pants to fuck his fist hard.
“Y/n” he groaned out without thinking his mind just blurred. Your eyes darted to the door seeing him standing there touching himself to the sight of you. You could feel your walls grip around the thought of him helping you. It was hot that he was watching you felt so dirty but so fucking hot. You acted like you didn’t see him as you touched yourself turning your toy to a higher speed “Binnie” you said softly arching your back at the feeling of the new speed.
He didn’t even stop to see if you saw him the sound of you saying his name made him feral. He fucked into his fist fast his head falling back at the feeling. The hot thoughts danced through his head, thinking about you. How you feel, how you taste how you’d scream his name. He wasn’t prepared for what was about to come from your mouth though.
“Binnie please, god I see you please just come fuck me” you whimpered. This time he did freeze making direct eye contact with you his whole body went hot. He felt like a volcano that was ready to erupt, he shook his head snapping out of his haze. He made his way to you, taking in all your sight up close for the first time. He almost pounced on you like a wild animal to its prey. He leaned down to kiss you sloppily, His kiss felt hot tasted like mint and cola?
He grinned his hips against you letting out low Groans as he felt your trail of your juices on his sweat pants. “You know I see you watching me- all the time” you moan out. This wasn’t the first time Bin stood in the same spot touching himself as he watched you do the same. You see him frequently doing it, it’s always so sexy to you to have him watching. You’re always to nervous to a call for him but today you just couldn’t help it.
“You do?” He choked out almost feeling embarrassed. You nod “yeah it’s hot that you watch me though” you words coming out softly almost a whisper. “You like the idea of someone watching you get off?” He asked smiling a devilish smile. You nod almost too eagerly giving him a great idea. He stood up pulling you up bringing you over to the window you had opened. He leaned your body against it before dropping his shorts completely.
“Let’s let everyone watch you get off then hmm?” He said against your ear. He aligned his cock head to your soaked cunt pushing into you quickly. He wrapped his arms around you the feeling making his knees almost go weak. He’s stood at your doorway for how many weeks hoping you’d invite him in and now that you have he wasn’t letting you go. He wanted to be buried into you all day everyday. His perfect cock nestled so nicely into your cunt, poking at your abdomen you could see it slightly.
“No holding back, let everyone hear those beautiful moans I’ve listen to for so long” he said before he started to fuck into you. The sounds of his balls smacking against you filled the room. You moaned out gripping the window tightly. “That’s it baby let them hear you fuck-“ he groaned out he played with your nipples before moving you a bit so they were pressed against the glass. Your whole body on display for everyone to see.
Your cunt clenched tightly around changbin as you felt your high rushing over you. The sloshing sound coming from him pounding into you were so hot. The mess you were making on his cock was enough to make him cum. He gripped your thighs rubbing your clit as he deepened his thrusts. You almost screamed out, the new feeling, he was hitting your g-spot. Boy was he hitting is so fucking good too. “Gonna- fuck- I’m cumming!” You had almost no warning as the warm damn broke cumming all over his cock.
Changbin groaned at the feeling pumping sloppily into you pulling out the last second to paint your back with his thick white paint. He quickly grabbed a towel wiping your back off before picking you up laying you gently in bed. He kissed you softly before curling up against you rubbing your back. “Binnie” you said softly. “Mhm” he said in return in a soft hum. “Can we go again?” You asked pushing your hip back against his already semi hard cock. “We can go as many rounds as you can take sweetheart” he said placing his cock between your soaked lips. “I’ll fuck you all night beautiful and then I’ll make you breakfast” he teased kissing you.
“Bet.” You said pushing your hips back making his cock slide right back in where it belonged. You two fucked all night, like little feral animals. Laughing at the thought that this all started because you wanted to sleep. Your cunt had shaped so perfectly to his cock by now, almost engraved at this point. The morning of he kept his word making you breakfast. He brought it to you in bed since your legs were basically jello at this point. He positioned himself between your thighs as you ate. “We both get to have something tasty this morning.” He said with a smirk.
Fuck- what did you get yourself into? Honestly you weren’t gonna complain. Your brain had been scrambled more than the eggs you were eating. The man below you sucking your overly sensitive nub could go so many times over and over. And honestly? You were mad you waited this long. You both had so much fucking to catch up on.

12 fluff promt for uta plz
# tags: scenario; current relationship; soulmate!au (tattoos); light romance; fluff; couple goals; sfw
includes: gender neutral reader ft. uta {tokyo ghoul}
author’s note: hope u like it :) have a nice day/night!
12. “But we are not married.” “Then marry me.”
Punk music played at medium volume and spread throughout the building, and you jiggled your right foot to it while keeping your both eyes on the colorful magazine in your hands. From time to time you also glanced at your boyfriend, Uta, who was a few meters away from you, tattooing another client who wanted a huge red dragon across the entire width and length of his back. His concentration was really intriguing, and not even your warm gaze could snap him out of trance.
That’s why, after a few tries, you focused entirely on the thick periodical, reading about the biggest fashion bloopers of this month and dozens of romances in the world of showbiz stars.
{ ・゚✧ }
After another three hours, Uta finished part of the tattoo and thanked his male client for staying in the uncomfortable position for that time. Together with a middle-aged man who had a black beard and dark eyes, they agreed on the last meeting, and thus the last part of the beautiful painting that was to appear on the right shoulder blade. They shook hands, wished each other a nice evening, and then Uta closed the front door to his small tattoo studio, which he had been running for years on his own with no other employees. He turned off all the lights, then returned to a room decorated with a tattoo table, several cabinets, special equipment and a trash bin.
There was also a small, dirty-green leather couch and a table with a glass surface. There was you on the sofa, clutching a magazine in your hands, though your eyes were squeezed tight and your mouth slightly open. The calm face and light movements of the chest spoke loudly about the fact that somewhere in the middle of Uta’s work you fell asleep, and the only thing that appeared in your sleepy thoughts was the desire to drink a cup of coffee without milk and sugar.
For a brief moment, Uta didn’t have the heart to wake you up because he knew your life had been quite stressful in recent days and you had a lot of responsibilities in your private life, but at the same time, he didn’t want your head to hurt after this short nap, or worse, your back and neck.
Before waking you up, however, he glanced at one of the hands that was touching the paper and smiled at the small tattoo adorning your little finger. The drawing showed a full moon; light streaks and lines were made with the utmost precision – the tattoo looked like a real moon that can be found in the sky. After briefly glancing at your finger, he looked automatically at his own left hand and the left corner of his mouth twitched. On his pinky there was a drawing of the same size – the only difference was that there was a tiny sun on his pale skin.
He sighed though, touching your soft cheek covered with gold highlighter.
“... Mgmhm...” You muttered something unintelligible under your breath, which made the man laugh again. “Uta... It’s your turn to... Y-You have to take our kids to school... Mhm...” You said a little more clearly, though your voice was still quiet, muffled by yawns and the desire to stay asleep. It was, after all, close to eleven in the evening.
“Kids?” He raised an eyebrow and the silver earring a bit up. “But we are not married.” He added directly into your ear, and you wiggled your nose, keeping your eyes shut.
“Then marry me.”
Surely you dreamed something nice – there was a slight smile and a huge blush on your face. Uta gave up and decided not to wake you up. Instead, he lifted your body off the couch with no problem. He had placed the magazine on a glass table a moment earlier, next to a small candlestick and a vase of dead roses.
You were already soulmates, and that meant the bonds of marriage. Nevertheless, the vision of you two with a bunch of children and then grandchildren, although too beautiful, did not have to be unattainable.

I've actually decided to write my boy happy for once?? unheard of, I know
Champagne Conversation
Stars bloomed in the sky like the spring flowers blossomed in the ground, each one glowing brighter than drops of heaven in the Sun.
The night air was cool, was brisk, was welcoming as you leaned back on the picnic blanket, watching as the black sky showcased its wonderful stars and Moon.
Soft music was playing from a radio you insisted on bringing along, claiming to your boyfriend that you could carry the large, dense object through the street (yet he still took it away from you to carry it himself, although it was just as heavy for him as it was for you).
Wrappers of chocolate and packets of strawberries rested by the picnic basket, thrown lazily by it as you two couldn't stop looking at each other to properly place the rubbish in the basket, or rather the bin.
Regulus sat beside you, pouring two glasses of champagne as you waited, and you both laughed when Regulus had spilled the champagne slightly on your dress, though the boy did apologise profusely and you laughed away his unnecessary apology.
Regulus gave you your glass, which had a strawberry floating on top of the champagne, and you thanked him, smiling as you took a sip of your drink after you sat up.
He also took a sip, and made a disgusted face as he swallowed the champagne.
"Reggie, I told you not to drink it if you don't like it." You giggled.
"I do like it!" He tried to proclaim but you shook your head, still laughing whilst you did so.
"Don't lie, you hate it!"
Regulus sighed before nodding his head, his wavy black hair flopping over his forehead as he did so.
"I do hate it." He muttered.
"Then why do you drink it?" You asked with a grin as you took the champagne flute away from your boyfriend and placed it down on the lid of the flat strawberry packet.
"Because you like it."
"You drink it because I like it?"
"Yes."
You chuckled, taking a sip of your champagne before speaking once again.
"So if I jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?"
"Yes." Regulus answered, no hesitation or pause before his response.
"But why?" You giggled, to which the boy smiled brightly, his smile mimicking the shine of the stars above.
"Well I wouldn't want you to jump off a bridge, I desperately wouldn't. But if you really, completely, wholeheartedly wanted to, well I'd jump first so I can see if it's safe enough for you to do so."
"And if it isn't safe and you break many bones and end up in hospital?"
Regulus grins. "Well thank Merlin it was me rather than you."
You shook your head, placing your glass down next to Regulus'.
"No, Reggie, you need to put yourself first."
"Above you and your needs?"
"Yes!" You said exasperatedly, though your smile still lingered.
"Well no. That's just impossible. Of course I'd put you above everyone and everything else in this entire universe. There's not a single scenario where I wouldn't protect you instead of myself."
"Well, that makes us both fucked."
Regulus tilted his head in confusion. "Why?"
"Because there's not a single scenario I wouldn't protect you instead of myself."
He chuckled, making you huff.
"Why are you laughing?"
"Mon amour, you couldn't carry a stereo down the street."
"That has nothing to do with me protecting you!"
"It has everything to do with you protecting me."
"How so?" You crossed your arms as your tongue poked the inside of your cheek whilst Regulus found your defensive expression adorable.
"If you're not strong enough to carry a stereo, how are you strong enough to protect me from, say, a lion?"
"Love."
Regulus chuckled, yet he was slightly perplexed at your response.
"Love?"
"Yes, love. Love makes you strong."
"Hm. Does love make you stupid?"
You gasped in fake offence, and shoved the boy's shoulder gently.
Regulus laughed, throwing his head back as you joined in with his laughter.
Eventually, you both began to calm down from your giddiness, and Regulus leaned on his elbow, laying on his side as he gazed at you, that soft smile never leaving his face.
"I will still protect you even if you try and protect me instead. The tiger wouldn't even get a single scratch on your beautiful body."
You smiled, leaning closer to him to nuzzle his nose.
"Hm, I wouldn't even let you get close to the tiger."
You kissed him, both of you still smiling as your lips touched.
Pulling away, Regulus rested his forehead on yours as he intertwined yours and his fingers together.
"I wouldn't even let you be in that situation."
You sighed.
"Fine. You win."
The boy chuckled, pecking your left cheek before you rested your head on his shoulder.
"I always do."

Spring of 1692…
If one were to believe in luck then Taehyung (who certainly did not believe) would have at the very moment his foot touched the soil of The New World. There was a pull at his heart, a rope wrapped around the muscle and tugged him in one direction. He had no choice but to follow as his mind conjured up different scenarios of meeting his fated after all this time.
Would you remember him? Would you fall into his arms weeping and begging for him to never leave your side? Have you looked for him too?
Taehyung, in his frenzy to find you, left a trail of bodies. He had wanted to look his best, a picture perfect image of his past self with a few modifications. His hair that was always kept long was now shortened to frame his face and hung in his eyes. Gone were the grandiose fabrics, jewels and homes. Now he wore the clothing of laborers to avoid unwanted attention and slept beside the common folk.
He played the part of a simple man, a man of strong faith and sound mind. He kept his funds and higher quality clothing stashed away in different locations and investments. Taehyung made sure that no matter what, you would never go without once he found you.
As he followed the invisible line that led to you, he came to Salem Village. A fairly sizable village in the state of Massachusetts that was run by Reverend Matthews and a few others on his council. As Taehyung had come to town with a small group of travelers looking for work, he was easily accepted into the town. Taehyung was given a room in old man Peck’s home. The older man had lost his wife and son to a fever in the winter, so he offered his home with melancholy eyes and a kindly smile.
Taehyung had yet to see you but his heart ached, clenched in his chest tighter and tighter. You were so close, he could smell your creamy sandalwood and cardamom spice. If he focused hard enough, green citrus would tickle his nose and burn the back of his throat. He searched for you, from sunrise to sunset. He followed that all too familiar scent and yet, you were always out of reach. The sun to his moon, destined to never hold each other again. Taehyung wondered if he had finally lost his mind. The longing in his heart had led him here but where were you? Couldn’t you feel him nearby? Had he mistaken his own feelings?
It was in the evening when he first saw you. He had been chatting with Reverend Matthews about the next church service when your summer scent wrapped around him in a fine mist. His words trailed off as he saw you three cabin’s down holding the hands of two young girls. Reverend Matthews offered up your information without any prompting and Taehyung committed every word to memory.
“Did you fetch the water like I asked?”
“Yes, Sir.”
“Good. Fill the wash bin and call the girls to supper.”
You bowed your head and spun on your heels to leave the cabin of Reverend Matthews. Outside the air was crisp with the promise of a new beginning, spring was finally here. Gravel crunched beneath your shoes as you followed the beaten path to the field of flowers where all the young girls played. Ella and Pagie, Reverend Matthews’ daughters, were sitting in a circle with a few of the other girls creating daisy chains. You smiled at the sight and walked over, while humming a song.
Paige, who was the younger of the sisters spotted you first and nudged Ella’s arm. You beckoned them to come along and Paige pouted while Ella just shook her head.
“Just a little longer, please?” Ella whined and held up her bracelet. “We’re almost finished.”
“Supper is ready and your father is waiting.” The girls both started to whine and you tisked at them lightly. “Come on girls. You can finish your project once you have had your meal.”
“You promise?” Paige sulked, her eyes watery and you nodded your head holding out your pinkie finger.
The girls jumped to their feet and ran over to you, linking your fingers together while giggling. They said goodbye to their friends and followed you back to the cabin where you helped them wash their hands and face. At the head of the table, Reverend Matthews sat and waited while you placed their meals before them. He held his arm out, palms face upward and the girls placed their hands in his.
“Let us say grace before we eat this wonderful meal.”
You stood nearby and silently watched as the family of three blessed the food together. Once the prayer was over, you scooped some stew into your own bowl and bowed your head.
“Enjoy your meal.”
You excused yourself to your room in the back of the cabin and sat alone at the table in the corner. You gave thanks to God and a chill ran down your spin. You looked at the window of your room and frowned; it was open. You liked to sleep with your window open at night but you always closed it during the day. Maybe you forgot? You stared at the tree line that acted as a barrier around the town and shivered.
As the days grew warmer, you spent more time outside of the cabin with the young girls in the town. Mayar often helped you with the children since her charges were among the young ladies. The two of you taught them girls how to braid, how to stop the bleeding of a minor cut, and a fun rhyme to sing while they danced around with each other.
While you spent your time outdoors, the chill in your bones never seemed to go away. Even with the warmth of the sun, goosebumps would randomly appear on your body. There was news of a newcomer to the town but you had yet to see the young man around. He and a few other men had apparently been looking for work and Reverend Matthews was more than willing to hire him. You heard that the young man, Taehyung, stayed with old man Peck and you prayed that this newcomer's presence would pull the old man from his grief.
“Ella be careful on that tree!” You called as the girl continued to climb the large apple tree with another of the girls. They were having a race to the top and you knew that Ella would most likely be the victor. You would often find Ella lost in the tree tops since she liked to watch the town from up above. It made you worry for her safety all the time, but Ella was a natural. She knew falling from such a height would surely break a bone or two.
You could see the ripe apples at the top from your place in the grass as you sat with Paige in your lap. One of her braids had come undone and she had begged you to fix it for her. Ella and the other girl, Mary were arguing about cheating as they climbed and you shouted another warning to be careful.
A shiver crept down your spin and you turned your head towards the forest. Your eyes darted over the tree line but you saw no one. A scream grabbed your attention and you watched in horror as Ella’s foot slipped and she went crashing to the ground.
You jumped to your feet and rushed to her side with Mayar and the other girls behind you. Ella wailed in pain and you shushed her, seeing the ugly way her arm bent at the elbow. You knew something had broken, and as you looked over the rest of her body, you saw her leg was bent oddly as well.
“Get the doctor!” You ordered and one of the older girls ran off.
Mary came down the tree shortly after but you paid her no mind as Ella cried louder.
“Mayar take the girls home and-”
“I heard crying…is everything okay?”
A voice cut into your words and your mind went fuzzy quiet. Your words were stuck on your tongue as you blinked up at the man. The sun casted a warm halo around him and you swore you had heard his voice before.
Warm brown eyes stared down at you in worry and you shook your head, your thoughts scattered and piercing together as you looked away. Mayar and the other girls were nowhere to be round, only the young man stood before you and Paige.
“P-Please help! Ella fell and I-I don’t want to-”
“Easy now, dear one.” The man spoke with such a firm reassurance that put your worry at ease. He knelt down beside you and ran a hand over Ella’s brow before he started to hum, a tune so deep and low. He scooped Ella from the ground and she whined as he clung to him. “Lead the way.”
You scrambled to your feet, not caring for the dirt on your skirt and led the man into town with Paige hanging close. Reverend Matthews and the doctor were rushing towards you, worry twisted on their faces as they took in the state of Ella.
“What happened?” Reverend Matthews demanded as he stared at the blood and weird angle of his daughter’s limbs..
“S-She fell from the apple tree, Sir.” You explain with Paige hidden behind your skirt.
“Get her inside,” the Reverend motioned for the young man to follow the doctor before he turned his attention back to you. “I’ll deal with you later.” His voice left no room for argument and you ducked your head low, staring at the ground. Reverend Matthews hurried after his daughter and Paige cried into your skirts.
“Hush now child,” You squatted down and patted the girl’s head. “Ella will be okay.”
“S-She didn’t fall!” Paige cried and you wrapped your arms around her. “She was pushed, Mary pushed her!”
You hushed Paige once more and carried her to the cabin where you then sat in the rocking chair and sang until she calmed down. You saw Mary with your own eyes, she was nowhere near Ella and couldn’t have pushed her from the tree. Your gut turned and a sour taste sat in the back of your throat as you thought over Paige’s words.
Two days had passed since Ella fell from the apple tree and the girl had yet to wake up. You kept a close eye on her along with Paige, but Reverend Matthews was worried. The doctor couldn’t explain why she had not woken up…that was until Paige told her father what she saw. You tried to tell him that Paige had seen it wrong, you knew Mary didn’t push Ella but he wouldn’t hear it.
“If you say that she was not near, and yet my daughter saw her, then what? No one can be in two places at once!”
“Sir, please-”
“I will speak to the other girls and see what happened.”
You told Pagie to sit with her sister and hurried out of the cabin to try and stop the Reverend, but he was out of sight. Someone nearby cleared their throat and you saw the young man from before. You bowed your head and he walked over, standing two feet in front of you.
“Forgive me for not introducing myself, and thank you for helping us.”
“I wished to have meant you under better circumstances, but I am relieved to see that you are unharmed.”
“Unharmed?” The Reverend’s words echoed in your head about ‘dealing with you later’ and you quickly shook your head. “Oh, you misunderstood. Reverend Matthews would never.”
The man smiled, his lips pressed into a tight line before he bowed deeply to you, “I’m Taehyung and it is a pleasure to finally meet you.”
It started with Paige’s accusation of Mary pushing Ella from the tree. Next it was Paige waking up with night terrors claiming that Mary had threatened to kill her for telling on her. The last straw was Paige being unable to eat anything. Everything made her vomit, and whispers of witches began lingering all around town.
Mary’s whole family had been put on trail, and the grandmother was found guilty of being a witch. Days later, the old woman was hanged in front of the whole town.
That very night, Ella woke up and Mary’s family was chased out of town. Things settled down for a while and you were able to spend more time outside now that Ella was awake. You ran into Taehyung often when you went out for errands, and you were always polite. The young man was indeed very handsome, his midnight hair often became a curtain for his piercing whisky eyes that always seemed to find you.
You found yourself dreaming of Taehyung late at night, and a few times you woke yourself up, moaning his name. He made it a point to visit you in the evening for a walk around town, which you accepted after Reverend Matthews gave you this blessing. Being with Taehyung felt like playing with fire, his very being burned your soul. His voice caressed your mind and his eyes opened a door in your heart that you never knew was there.
Women and men alike started to appear in town wearing more layers than they should be. When questioned, they all said they were coming down with something. The doctor was in over his head and sent for help. So many people were cold and Reverend Matthews grew concerned. Did he have an epidemic on his hands or something more sinister?
He shadowed the doctor in his exams and every person who fell sick had small cuts along their neck and inner arms, along the main veins. The cuts were no longer than two inches and thin enough to think nothing of. Once the doctor confirmed that every patient had the marks, Matthews knew something ill-omened and foul had plagued the village.
The first time Taehyung touched you, you worried that he had come down with the sickness that had spread within the village. His skin was cold, much too cold for the summer heat that had rolled in. He hadn’t meant to touch you, the two of you were walking side by side in the fields and your ankle rolled over a rock. Taehyung had grabbed your arm and steadied you before you could fall. He forced you to sit on the side of the road as he removed your shoes and checked your ankle.
His fingers were so cold but they felt wonderful on your burning skin. Heat coursed through your body as he examined your exposed ankles. It was improper and he apologized for his forwardness, but he had to make sure you were okay. As he looked over your ankle, Taehyung assured you that he was fine and that he always ran cold no matter what time of the season it was. He explained that he was born with low iron, so his blood didn’t run as hot.
Your ankle was fine and Taehyung offered to walk you back to the cabin to rest in case your ankle started to hurt later on. You agreed and Taehyung offered his arm to which you linked elbows. Heat seemed to permanently warm your face, and you leaned into the coolness of Taehyung’s body. It was heavenly in the summer heat.
At the gate out front of the cabin, Taehyung parted from you, holding your hand in his. He bent slightly at the waist and raised your hand to his lips.
Your stomach flipped and tumbled as his lips touched the skin of your knuckles. Even his breath was cool and you stuttered over your words as you bid Taehyung farewell. You hurried into the cabin and Revend Matthews raised an eyebrow at your flustered state before he turned his attention back to the book in his lap.
“I am holding a council meeting once the new doctor arrives in the morning. Please keep an eye on the girls and keep them close.”
“Is everything okay, Sir?”
Matthews sighed and rubbed at his temples, “There is an evil swallowing this village and I will bring it to light by the grace of the Lord.”
You nodded your head in understanding and made the cross over your body. “By the grace of the Lord.”
The warmth of your body weighed deeply on Taehyung’s mind. He could still smell you on his clothes and a flame simmered deep in his stomach.
He needed to feed. He could not wait any longer, consequences be damned. Your very being called to him, and Taehyung knew better. He would not put you in harm's way, not if he could help it.
Finding his next meal was easy enough. Taehyung was a walking temptation and he used that to his advantage. He had the names and faces of those who looked at him memorized. It was to lure them in with sweet words and an even sweeter touch. He picked his targets and followed them early enough in the evening for no one to question his motives. He would request a meeting and they would make a show of visiting old man Peck, offering their condolences and baskets filled with sweet breads, jams and smoked meats.
Old man Peck was sickly himself, often bedridden as his health steadily declined. Taehyung had such luck when he moved into the old man’s home. The village people were so trusting of his handsome face, and that is where Taehyung took advantage. He had his victims cut themselves with a sewing needle and he did the rest. The venom in his saliva acted as a blood thinner and the flow came faster, easier as he sucked at the broken skin. He never bit anyone, that would have left proof of his existence, after all.
In the comfort of his room, Taehyung seduced widow Melody and ravaged her body. The warmth of her skin, the pounding of her heart, and the soft sounds she made as he rocked against her were dizzying.
Taehyung’s fangs ached, and in a fit of pleasure he rolled their bodies, so that Melody was now on top. His hands grabbed her hips and he bounced her in his lap. The woman threw her head back and Taehyung could smell the sweet tang of her blood. His gums pulsed and he tightened his grip on her hips. His fingers dug into the skin hard enough to bruise, and as her fingers tangled into his hair, Melody pulled his face to her skin.
“Mark me, make me yours!” She begged, and Taehyung lost himself. His fangs pierced the tender flesh of her throat and blood flowed into his mouth quickly. It was messy as Taehyung was a little out of practice.
Blood spilled down the side of Melody’s neck to the front of her bare chest and made her all the more slippery as it mixed with their body sweat. Melody’s voice sang Taehyung’s name as she succumbed to the pleasure, and Taehyung felt her walls tighten around him. He ripped his mouth away from her neck and moaned loudly as he came, his grip so tight that it broke the skin and nearly pressed the bones into dust.
Melody had started to cry but Taehyung was quick to shush her as fear widened the pupils of her eyes. Her body shook and Taehyung dove back into her neck, a new place where his fangs had not touched before. He slurped and gulped loudly, moaning even more at the taste as he sucked the life from Melody’s veins.
Pulling away once more, Taehyung gasped, his face flushed and body warm from the nice meal he enjoyed. Melody’s head dropped backwards and Taehyung shoved her body off his lap. It fell to the side of the bed, lifeless, and Taehyung ran a hand through his messy hair.
He wiped at his mouth with the back of his hand and licked his lips. A knock at the door caught his attention and before he could cover up, old man Peck stood in the doorway. The smile on his face was gone in an instant the moment he saw the blood all over Taehyung. Taehyung sighed and frowned deeply at the old man. In the heat of his meal, he forgot to keep his control on Peck’s mind. A grave mistake.
Taehyung rushed from the bed and slapped at hand over Peck’s mouth and apologized to the old man before he sunk his fangs into his neck. He never liked the taste of older blood, so he ripped the old man’s throat out and helped him fall to the floor. As the old man gurgled and choked on his own blood, Taehyung groaned and looked at Melody’s dead body on his bed. A grave mistake, indeed.
Taehyung felt tired, the adrenaline and sweet high that came from drinking blood had vanished from his body the moment he murdered his kind host. A knock at the front door made Taehyung wince. He had no time to clean up his mess and needed to get out of the cabin. Quickly, he pulled on a fresh set of clothes and wiped himself off as best he could.
He had to take you with him. He couldn’t leave you here in this crazy village.
The front door opened and footsteps echoed through the air. “Peck! Taehyung!”
It was Reverend Matthews and Taehyung cursed. If that man was in the cabin, that meant that you were home alone with his daughters. As the footfalls grew closer, Taehyung groaned. He needed to leave, now.
Ducking out of the window, Taehyung bowed his head and hurried out towards the forest where the rest of the villagers refused to go. He kept close to the treeline and rounded over to your cabin. Your window was closed and Taehyung glanced around. No one was in sight, so he sprinted to your window and peeked inside. You sat in a chair in the corner reading a book. You were a portrait of peace and beauty.
Taehyung knocked on the window and you jumped, the book in your hands tumbled to the ground. You looked at the window and smiled when you saw Taehyung. You opened the window without a second thought, and Taehyung grabbed your face with his hands.
“I have to go now, dear one. Come with me?”
“W-What? What are you saying Taehyung?”
“I don’t have time to explain. Please? Come with me!”
A metallic scent came from Taehyung’s mouth as he spoke and his hands were so much warmer than they had ever been. His eyes seemed brighter and his skin was flushed. He looked like he had been kissed by God.
“T-Taehyung…”
Voices shouted from outside and you tried to turn your head, but Taehyung wouldn’t let go of your face.
“Dear one, please?”
“I-I cannot go with you Taehyung-”
The voices were closer now, and Taehyung’s eyes flickered in a swirl of emotions that you couldn’t unwind in time before they fell dull. Taehyung licked his lips and rested his forehead against yours as he spoke.
“Forgive me, dear one. I will find you again.”
His lips were petal soft and oven warm, a heat like never before scorched your very soul and you gasped into the kiss. You could taste something unwelcome on his tongue as it slipped into your mouth, but it didn’t deter you from seeking more of Taehyung’s lips.
“I swear I will find you again.”
Taehyung’s words were muffled as he spoke into your mouth and you nodded your head, your mind foggy as he slipped from your view and melted into the treeline. Shouts grew louder yet, and you made your way to the front of the cabin where the girls were peeking out the window.
“What has happened?” You questioned and the girls turned towards you, their eyes widened in terror.
“Witch!”
“Devil’s whore!”
The girls screamed at you and your heart froze. What was the meaning of their words? Witch? Never.
The front door was kicked in and a mob of people flooded the home. You screamed as men grabbed your arms and dragged you out of the house. You called for Reverend Matthews with tears in your eyes. The grip on your arms was too tight, you could feel their fingers digging into your bones. Everyone around you spit at the ground by your feet and sneered as you were dragged away towards the lake.
What was the meaning of this? What had you done to deserve such treatment?
At the lake, you saw Reverend Matthews, the two doctors, and the rest of the town. Reverend Matthews’ eyes were narrowed, darkend in disgust as he opened the bible in his hands. You were thrown to the Reverend's feet and your arms were tied tightly behind your back.
“You are accused of witchcraft and summoning a demon to our village. How do you plead?” Reverend Matthews stared down at you and you shook your head. His words did not make any sense in your mind. Witchcraft?
“The laborer Taehyung has murdered the widow Melody and Old Man Peck in cold blood! What say you?”
“H-He would never!”
“I have seen it with my own eyes! And now those who have fallen sick, have come forward with clear memories of Taehyung seducing them in the night. He forced their own hands to harm themselves before he fed off their life’s essence.”
You didn’t believe the Reverend's words. Taehyung wasn’t a demon, he was just a man. He was being blamed for something that was utterly preposterous.
“You were seen in town with the demon Taehyung. Do you deny this claim?”
You stared at the ground before you. You knew that no matter what you said, the Revered would not listen.
“Taehyung had courted you, isn’t that so? You were in love with the demon?”
“He is not a demon!” You shouted, unable to hear such slander. “T-Taehyung is a good man! He would not harm anyone in this village! Nor would I, sir! I have raised your children when they were just babes! H-how can you accuse me of such horrors?”
“Enough!” Reverend Matthews cleared his throat and opened the bible in his hand. “My child, you have been led astray from God’s graces. You have welcomed the devil into your heart and summoned a devil to our village. Our people have been attacked and plagued by unseeable nightmares…”
You tried to pull your arms free of the ropes but it was no use, they were tied tightly.
“You harmed my children and all of the children in this village. I cannot forgive such crimes, nor look past the vile evil that has tempted you into its arms.” The Reverend ducked his head and started to read from the bible. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Tears rolled down your face as the men lifted you from the ground and sat you in a wooden chair. Your legs were tied down and your arms secured to the back before they carried you to the edge of the dock.
All around, the village people screamed and cried as they threw rocks your way. A jagged rock slammed into your temple and you cried as you felt the throbbing pain spread along the back of your head. The broken skin bleed freely like your tears, and you shook your head once more.
“Reverend please! I-I have committed no crime!”
“You would defend that demon even in your last moments of life?”
You thought over the Reverend's words and your last moments with Taehyung in your room. He had been panicked and so very, very warm. The late night walks, the sweet touches…the dreams. Your heart quickened its pace as you fought to discern the truth from the lies.
Was Taehyung a demon? Had he tricked you into falling in love with him?
“Admit your sins and the All Mighty above will grant you forgiveness.”
“...I am sorry, Sir.” You whispered, unable to lie to everyone for their own piece of mind. “Drown me if that will put your hearts at ease but know that I speak the truth. I have never given into the temptation of the devil and I will pray that God has mercy on your misguided souls.”
“Kill the witch!”
“Die!”
“Harlot!”
Voices screamed around you, and as you looked at the village people, you thought for a moment that Taehyung was hidden in the crowd.
“Taehyung?” You tried to clear your vision as it started to blur from the pain in your head. “Taehyung…”
“Kill her!”
“She calls for her demon lover!”
“Kill the witch!”
The chair jostled as the men lifted it up and you inhaled a shaky breath as you looked at Reverend Matthews for the last time. His face was void of all emotion but his eyes were filled with conflicting emotions.
“Admit your sins.”
“Is it a sin to love someone?”
Reverend Matthews pressed his lips into a firm line and gave one single nod. Tears streamed down your face as you were thrown into the air and gravity pulled you quickly into the lake.
You were sinking, deeper and deeper. Your lungs flooded with water as you inhaled against your better judgment. One single name fell from your lips and it fell on deaf ears, drowned by the water. No one would listen to what you had said. Fear was a dangerous emotion that created so many deaths in the village. The images of the people above started to distort and the light dimmed. You cried as the chair you were tied to hit the bottom of the lake.
Cold.
You felt the icy fingers of the grim reaper wrap around your wrists. You wanted to pull away, you wanted to swim to shore and run far, far away. At the bottom of the lake, your eyes burned but you couldn’t look away from the fish picked bones that surrounded you. You were going to die. You were going to die and no one cared. You screamed and screamed, repeatedly, but no one came to your aid. The last of the air in your lungs pushed out and replaced by the cold dark water.
Darkness coiled in your heart, the tender touch of his embrace meant nothing now. You were alone, drowning at the bottom of the lake for loving him.
Where had he run off to? Doubt started to cloud your mind as memories of Taehyung flickered behind your eyes. Did he plan this? Were you merely a plaything to pass the time before you became his scapegoat? Your eyes grew heavy, weighed down by the water.
From above, the air bubbles that frantically rose to the surface slowly came far and few in between until not one broke the water. The silence stretched on as Reverend Matthews inhaled deeply before he sighed.
“May God have mercy on her soul.”

i come back like the moon!!! i love the moon, thank you so much
seungmin really just.... he causes so much chaos, unintentionally. much of chaos is intentional but also. me wanting to push him against a wall and ravish him? nah that's just me. like i just keep seeing concert clips and i just KNOW that he would be so cute and pliant coming back to you after. like he's tired and hyped up at the same time but incredibly clingy all the same. my sweet boy 🥰 pressing himself against you as much as possible, reducing you to just grinding your hips on him, holding your hands and interlocking all your fingers to make sure you can't leave. like you would ever leave, but he's gotta be sure hehe. and INFINITY MARKS. ofc they gotta be below the neck, but it don't matter to me. i will mark his cute tummy and thighs all day long baby! also a better removable mark for his neck, that's right, a collar. having one with puppy, or your name, or your title, all very good ideas to me
standard ideas, standard ask, but i just am in a soft, loving seungmin mood. i can make him cry for me later. and i will 😉👉👉 -🦊
hehe of course you’re so welcome! i love the moon very much too it felt like a fitting comparison 🥰
that’s the best way to put it lmaoo seungmo can be both the accidental chaos starter or the intentional chaos enabler and it’s so cute to see when that side of him comes out <3 the concert clips esp of him have had me so endeared…like a few days ago where he was a bit too excited and you can see hyunjin and bin both motioning for him to calm down 😭 i think it plays right into this scenario w him feeling exhausted after a performance but still in such high, giddy spirits!
pressing himself urgently against you to let you know how needy he’s feeling without even having to say a word…that always gets me ❤️🩹 and leaving infinity marks in intimate spots that only he can see is such a sweet idea too…esp if you murmured smth sappy abt how even when they fade into his skin he’s still forever yours i think it’d make his lil cancer moon melt~ a collar is a perfect compromise! he might even wish he could get away w wearing it as an accessory in his daily life 😽 i love the thought of its tag having your name instead of his it just scratches that possessive itch so well
please they’re ideas i don’t mind coming back to one bit hehe but you know i’ll anything that involves pretty boy tears is more than welcome ♡
#ask#🦊 anon#long post#💌 seungmo#he seemed esp high energy when they wore their cute lil animals hats ㅠㅠ in his puppy element

i love how lightfalls story will continue in Deep and the rest of the year and it's a great move
ut god i WISH they had that idea for Witch Queen. I NEED to know how the Lucent Hive are developing, there's so much we don't know, andi would love to see how they're developing on like a cultural level.
My biggest disappointment with Witch Queen year is that after the dlc & risen the Lucent Brood are basically treated as regular hive that we can kill with no problem's and like nothing is exploring them anymore
I know its not the case but it felt like Bungie was building to this like:
"Are the Hive brutal and reprehensible to us? Yes. Will they change their behavior with the Light? No. Do they still deserve to be treated as sentient ppl with Intrinsic 'humanity' even tho they arent as sympathetic like the Fallen or Cabal? Yes. Does that make them good guys? Do we have the right to kill Ghosts just because they made the crime of "choosing the wrong side" etc etc
And like make us realize everything is more gray. and make us ask questions about assumptions we had, are Ghosts allowed Autonomy? Do.we have an inherent deserving of the light etc
and then Bungie dropped it in a bin and never brought it up ever again not even in flavor text or lore tabs
Agreed 100%
Witch Queen was an absolute banger of a campaign that I consider pretty much flawless, but when it comes to the whole year of Destiny last year, a lot of it ended up falling flat. There are so many interesting things raised in the campaign, but they were never explored. It didn't truly feel like "Witch Queen year" since pretty much all most significant bits of the Witch Queen were not explored.
Most importantly the Lucent Hive. Even in Risen, they were kind of background. They were literally attacking Earth directly and killing Guardians, but outside of getting rid of a few pockets of them, they've not been mentioned outside of that? Are they still attacking Earth? Do they still try to get a fort on the Moon? Are they only listening to Immaru or are there other aspects of their leadership? What about Lucent Hive who decide to go their own way? We know they exist so what's up with them?
What about Immaru and Savathun in general? We've not tried capturing him or investigating more into what Savathun knew, how she constructed the Throne World, how she utilised Light, her connections to the Witness and the Fleet... Obviously this might get picked up when she's rezed again, but I feel like a lot of it would've been important in the aftermath of the campaign. We got minor tidbits when Osiris woke up, but that just raised more questions; Savathun knew some WILD shit and we never investigated it.
We'll see how this continuation of Lightfall's story will go next season. I'm hoping for a quest that deals with some of the aftermath of the campaign and gives us insight into how time progresses in-universe; have the characters learned anything new in the past three months? Osiris will be present so we might get some new insight into Strand or the Veil or the portal the Witness opened.
Obviously, that's best case scenario. We have no clue what the quest will be like and I don't want to overhype myself and expect some incredibly long mission with 4 lore books, but the general gist of adding more campaign content throughout the year is really good. In hindsight, I would've loved if we got that each year. Campaigns are fine as is to me, but adding more content throughout the year that's directly connected to the campaign (instead of seasons) would've been a real benefit to pretty much every year so far. I really like the idea of the expansion YEAR dealing with the expansion reveals and information for the whole year in a more direct way that isn't tied to seasons.

Currently working to set up my Ubermega Test of Time. It helps that I already had an Ancient/Classical downloads folder prepared, but it does NOT help and in fact hurts that I used the method of “shove several old downloads folders together and then delete whatever doesn’t fit the theme”, because that leaves me with WAY too much junk. Especially if I am going to have multiple societies advancing at different rates, potentially getting very far ahead—I need to keep this downloads folder SMALL so I have room to add some stuff from later eras! So that’s been a little project. I cleared a fair amount out, but still have tons more. I’ll probably just bite the bullet and delete all alphabet soup from this downloads folder—most of it is gonna just be medieval anyway! I’ll check with DDO first, and see if it will help me find and eliminate orphans. I will probably need to get rid of a lot of medieval stuff that I once thought maybe might work in the Classical era, too.
Other than that, it’s going well. I gutted Belladonna Cove, Desiderata Valley, Pleasantview, and started Bluewater Village but got a crash so I decided I was done. The rules I came up a while back with involve everyone starting out living on the same lot, for the community aspect, but I quickly decided that won’t work for these premade hoods that start with 20-25 sims. So I consolidated families a bit and combined a few households, but am leaving them mostly in separate camps of the standard 8 sims or less. For the first era, my sims will only be allowed to plant seeds they dig up, and are not allowed to make more seeds from the harvest—they are hunter-gatherers just learning the concept of agriculture—but for each gardening badge the sims of one culture earn, they get one random Sun&Moon crop that can be planted in the next era, and unlocking a number of those is one of the two achievements to advance from a hunter-gatherer band to a horticultural tribe. I also have some plans to assign climates to each subhood and limit crops based on the climate, but I will have to make sure it’s balanced with the unlocking rule.
I’m also planning to play very Maxis-Match, with only Maxis-made supernaturals (well, and a Multi-PT mod so that alien descendants have a little more diversity and a less insane family tree, and keeping hereditary supernaturalism). So in this world, the Summerdreams will just have their elf ears and be normal sims. I MIGHT start the Cordial sisters as witches right off the bat, but I haven’t decided. I also am debating whether to rope the Picasos into Desiderata Valley and make Jessica and Sophia Jocque be sisters. DV really does need a couple more sims.
Currently, my plan is to have all the excess bin sims and college sims be a pool for when I need new sims—a subhood has run out of marriage options, some ROS event I haven’t figured out yet brings in a new family, or a Roman Empire needs some slaves to bring back from random conquest. That is, the bin sims that are not already attached to a particular hood. The Burbs are going in Pleasantview, all the Capps are going in Veronaville, etc., but the Ottomases and the Newsons might be in trouble. I’m also going to try to keep each subhood fairly isolated through Band and Tribe stages, and start outside communication in the Chiefdom stage. (Oh, I am splitting the Ancient aka the Neanderthal era into three mini-eras, Band, Tribe, and Chiefdom, which segues more neatly into the Ancient/Roman era.) I think the ideal scenario is for the society that first developed into the Classical era to conquer the other subhoods, only for barbarian invaders from the last unconquered subhood or, possibly, from the sim pool, to take advantage of the empire’s crumbling decadence to bring it down—but that doesn’t leave a lot of room for a New World to be colonized down in the Renaissance. If I can swing the former, then the remains of the sim pool could be used to create the New World at the beginning of the Renaissance. Maybe I’ll save the college sims for that? Obviously I still have a lot to think through—luckily I have been tinkering with my own ideas for Test of Time variant rules for years, it’s just a matter of figuring out what appeals to me to actually play, and paring down a lot of wild ideas into one system.
This should not take terribly long to set up, since I’m not remodeling any lots. I just need to pare down the downloads folder a bit more, finish gutting each subhood and sticking the sims in lots, give them all Ancient makeovers and traits, set up each lot—really not planning complex builds just yet, they will start with tents and hammocks—and throw together some Hunting Grounds and Water Hole type lots. Easy peasy.

Multi-Band Dynamic Incorrect Quote/Scenario 1: “Sick of Your Bickering”
-This scenario (more action than dialogue here) features The Who, Pink Floyd, and Supertramp if they lived in the same house together-
-Context: Everyone in the house is sick, or recovering from being sick, and those who are feeling better are attempting to start moving things back to normal-
Keith Moon: *Knocked out on the couch after trying to take an excessive amount of cold medicine to see what would happen*
John Entwistle: *Warily, and wearily watching over Keith* *Looks absolutely exhausted, as one who hasn't quite bounced back all the way, but can’t rest when half of his bandmates have*
Roger Hodgson: *Comes in through the front door, arriving back from the laundromat with three big bins of comforters, quilts, and sheets, and upon going over to the coffee table to start folding things, is struggling to try and separate it all out and fold the sheets before the wrinkle up*
Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey: *Having a heated argument on one end of the living room about whether or not to open windows and get fresh air in the house while multiple housemates are still sick*
Roger Waters and David Gilmour: *Having an outright screaming match on the other side of the living room that somehow started over cleaning out a vacuum cleaner filter*
John Entwistle: *Glances between Keith beside him, Roger Hodgson struggling to untangle and fold the sheets, and his bickering bandmates and housemates* *Sighs* “CAN SOMEONE HELP ROGER FOLD ALL THIS LAUNDRY?”
Pete and Roger Daltrey: *Stop arguing, look at each other and back toward Roger Hodgson with sheepish looks, and come over and start helping by sorting and separating out their items*
Roger Waters and David: *Stop arguing, scowl at each other before looking pointedly away from each other, then come over and help, too*
Roger Hodgson: *Frozen in place with a half-folded fitted sheet hanging off his hands by the inverted corners and blinks* *Is speechlessly bewildered*
#incorrect band scenarios#pardon my insanity#I honestly don’t know if I’ll do many of these -or when the next one will be (if there is one)#but this one was begging to be posted#insanity post#situational meme#incorrect quotes#John is 500% done with everyone#i honestly feel him right now so it feels as good a time as ever to take the jump and do this#this quote may or may not have been inspired by a moment at work that made me think of this (over a year ago no less)

Ishvi Snippets
More random Thrrasir NPC side-stories! This time, they aren't particularly plot relevant, just a few snippets of conversation I wrote between Ishvi and Wagner to better develop their dynamic and write more of Ishvi's personality. But you all might enjoy regardless! Mild content warning for some allusions to sex, racism, and dysphoria, though nothing graphic or extreme.
Seven years before the events of the campaign...
"...Is that a text about Dhorilian privateers in the late 2000s AC? Why in all the stars of Hef are you reading about pirates from three-thousand years ago?"
Ishvi jerked, their elbow knocking into a nearby inkwell and almost toppling it. Mentally they felt rather as if they'd been riding at a top speed gallop, only for the horse to careen around a bend and send them flying into the dirt. The mental whiplash was almost dazing, and for a moment they couldn't fully process what was even being said to them.
Then, they saw a dark skinned hand leaning on the table just a little ways to their left, and looked up into the face of the thirteen-year-old Prince Wagner. A spike of annoyance made them grit their teeth, and they hissed, "I've told you not to bother me when I'm actually managing to concentrate for a change! Now I'll never get my head back on track!"
The young tiefling smiled apologetically, pointing towards a nearby window. "In my defense, it's ah… almost four in the morning? I woke up and saw you never made it back to the barracks and thought I should come get you before you forgot to get any sleep."
Befuddled, Ishvi followed the path of Wagner's pointed finger, and was surprised to see that the sky outside the holy library was black and spangled with stars, and the moon had very nearly set. Some of the radiant fury of being pulled down from the euphoric high that they felt on the rare occasion they actually managed to find a topic to catch and hold their interest faded, and they winced.
"Shit… I lost track of the time again."
"Mm-hm," Wagner agreed, starting to collect some of the stack of books his friend had already read and discarded. "You're gonna be a mess tomorrow during training as it is, you ought to get at least a little sleep."
Ishvi sighed, raking a hand through their bangs and picking up the books as well. "Right. You're right. Ugh, what was I even doing in here in the first place? I feel like it definitely wasn't supposed to be a ten hour bender on the history of Dhorillean naval warfare…"
"Either you'll remember when the captain scolds you for not getting it done, or it won't matter too much," Wagner pointed out reasonably, with the casual aplomb that came from having witnessed both scenarios more than once. The twenty-three year old squire stuck their tongue out at the younger boy.
"Easy for you to say, asshole, you're not the one who's got a graduation assessment next week. My ordeal is already late- the last thing I want is another letter from Father about how I failed the assessment again."
Wagner tweaked the older man's nose. "Talking like you even read any of those letters. And nineteen is just the average age for the ordeal year- some take it younger, some don't pass until they're in their thirties."
"Perish the thought," Ishvi barked with an exaggerated shudder as they shoved the books into the return bin. "If you get promoted before I do, I will have something to say about it! You ollie off from training every few weeks for some other stupid dinner or party with the nobility!"
"You talk like you're not nobility," Wagner said, dumping his own armload and turning towards the exit.
"I wish I wasn't," Ishvi mused, following their young friend out into the cool night air outside the library. "You may joke about my not reading Father's letters, but he makes it clear that with Mum's difficulties conceiving I'm all he's got. Soon as I pass my ordeal he's probably going to start badgering me to secure the line. Produce a grandchild he can name heir instead of me. Not that I'd mind being passed over, but you know how I feel about…"
The uncomfortable silence hung for a moment, and the thirteen year old tentatively offered, "Siring?"
"Nnng," Ishvi looked down uncomfortably. They'd had to explain a little under a year ago exactly how the mechanics of creating a child worked, seeing as no one in his family had seen fit to do it, which had of course led to equally frank discussions of how Ishvi felt on the matter. But talking about it ostensibly in public, even at this hour when no one was liable to be about, wasn't something Ishvi was fully comfortable with. They'd had one conversation with their parents, at fifteen, about the possibility of surgery, but the answer was one they really should've expected- they were fine with it, but only after Ishvi produced for the family at least one, preferably two heirs.
They'd be in for a lecture on duty next time they saw their father if word got back that they were complaining about it. Even the Queen, who had taken a wife as her partner, had to lie with a man at least one time for the sake of duty, after all.
Shaking their head, they said, "But nevermind that- what were we talking about again?"
"You getting some sleep so you don't fall on your nose during training," Wagner reminded them with a raised brow. "Also you fretting about your assessment, but some sleep will be good for that too."
"Right. I uh, might have missed dinner too, do you-"
Wagner shook his head, but bless him, he seemed to have anticipated that too, because he pulled an apple out of his money pouch and offered it to his friend. "Over breakfast you'll have to tell me what you were reading that held your attention so long. But not right now- bed Ishvi."
"I'm going, I'm going," they said, picking up their pace towards the barracks to a trot.
_________
Shortly before the events of Eldritch Eulogy...
The two bed room was spacious as inns went, with about a man's height of space between each bed and everything carrying the telltale smell of having been freshly laundered. The blankets on the bed were made of some sort of animal fur, and a brief glance at the pillows confirmed they were stuffed with down, not hay.
"For as remote as this place is, the accommodations are quite nice," Ishvi mused, rocking on their heels as they looked about the room that had been letted to them. Turning back to Wagner with a wry smirk, they added, "Which is good, if we're going to be here for a while."
The prince- currently disguised as a wood elf and going under the alias "Walker"- groaned with mock resignation. In his hands the younger man was holding an envelope that had been pressed upon them before they even got to the inn.
"As remote as it is, you would think that the sort of trouble they'd ask paladins to intervene in wouldn't bother with them," Wagner replied with a sigh. "Normally I'd be thrilled to have something actually productive to do, but-"
"But you can't wait to get to Alu Lyth, you're missing your sweetheart terribly, wax about it again, please," Ishvi interjected, sauntering over to the bed and running their fingers over the plush fur. "Duty calls, my friend, so your cuddles and kisses appointment will have to wait!"
They glanced over their shoulder, and were rewarded to catch Wagner sticking out his tongue at them. The moon elf laughed, waggling a finger admonishingly. "Now, now, is that any way for someone of your stature to behave?"
"My stature? I have no notion what you mean," Wagner replied, turning away to open the envelope. "I am just a paladin, same as you. An inferior, magic-less paladin even."
Ishvi glanced over Wagner's shoulder at the note, but they could immediately see that the effort was fruitless- as had been the case with most everything else in this town, it was in Draconic, which Ishvi did not speak. With a shrug, they left their young friend to it.
They had been speaking in Elvish- the language that both they and Wagner were most fluent in, the language of both their childhoods. They also shared a fluency in common that was required of nobles, and Ishvi had tried to pick up both Goblin and Gnomish. As was often the case, however, their lack of patience for intense study had kept them from getting more than a few gloss words and phrases of either. Wagner, on the other hand, was a proper omniglot. On top of the aforementioned Elvish and Common, he was fluent in Gnomish, Goblin, Halfling, and thanks to his status as a tiefling, Infernal. He was further conversational in Dwarvish, and Draconic.
No Undercommon, which might have surprised anyone who knew the boy's heritage, but this was at the direct pressure of the rest of the Elvish nobles. They already didn't like that their prince and princess were half tiefling, half drow. They absolutely balked at the prince sullying his tongue on Undercommon when most drow he would need to talk to for diplomatic reasons would understand Elvish.
Nevermind the duergar or the svirfneblin. Or the various non-native races who live down there and will speak Undercommon by proximity. They thought sarcastically. The drow are bug-eyed cave rats but at least they're proper elves. The rest? Pah!
Ishvi gave a soft snort of derision, making Wagner look up from the paper in his hand and quirk a brow. "A copper for your thoughts?"
"Just insulting our dear, divinely appointed overlords in my imagination again, don't mind me," Ishvi replied with a shrug and a crooked grin. They caught themselves petting the blanket again, and folded their arms, turning back to face Wagner. "So what's the letter say?"
Wagner's expression was one of bemused understanding, but he took the change of subject with good grace. "The clan's Rimem- their chief- wants us to look into some strange creatures that have started to infest the woods around here, as well as a string of disappearances."
"I don't like that those two things are happening at the same time," Ishvi said grimly. "Implies one might be causing the other. But are monsters killing people, or might it be some sort of lycanthropy thing?"
"Impossible to say without more information," the prince pointed out. "Which means it's time for your favorite- questioning the locals."
"Aaaah, but I don't share any languages with the locals," Ishvi fired back. "So I am literally incapable of playing the face. And I won't even be able to understand when they needle you about the fact that I'm standing behind you and fidgeting like a bored three-year-old. Such a shame."
Wagner scowled a bit. "As if I wouldn't make it clear I won't stand for it if they do."
Ishvi shrugged with far more dismissiveness than they actually felt. "Come on, hero, it's late and we're both tired. Let's get some dinner in us, and figure out what our plan of attack is for tomorrow morning."

Tower-ing Fiction #19: Etihad Towers, Furious 7 (2015); Ryland Towers, Black Moon Rising (1986)
by Shawn Gilmore
The Etihad Towers complex in Abu Dhabi, completed in 2011, is comprised of five main towers, with three mixed-use towers rising from a shared lower multi-story pavilion set against the beach to the south and two primarily residential towers set into a scalloped space north of the pavilion. The complex, designed by DBI Design, is clad mostly in reflective glass, though each tower presents at least one segmented façade pointing away from the center of the cluster. At the time of its completion, Tower 2 was the tallest in Abu Dhabi, though it has been surpassed by the Burj Mohammed bin Rashid (part of the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi) at some 381m (1,250’), ADNOC Headquarters (342m, 1,122’), and The Landmark (324m, 1,063’).
The Etihad Towers still boast impressive heights:
Tower 1: 69 stories, 277m (909’)
Tower 2: 74 stories, 305m (1,001’)
Tower 3: 54 stories, 260m (853’)
Tower 4: 61 stories, 234m (768’)
Tower 5: 55 stories, 218m (715’)
Memorably, the Etihad Towers served as the location for a major action set-piece in Furious 7 (dir. James Wan, 2015), during which Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) escape Shaw (Jason Statham) by driving a red Lycan HyperSport from one tower to another (and another!) before abandoning the vehicle just before it crashes to the ground next to one of the Etihad Towers signs.
In the film, a series of establishing shots set up the variety of Abu Dhabi skyscrapers, circa 2015.
Dom and Brian’s team initially meets (bringing their many cars with them) at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, an elaborate luxury hotel complex, which originally opened in 2005.
The team then relocates to reconnoiter the Tower complex from a parking area by the Marina Mall to the north, juxtaposing the architectural styles of the Etihad Towers and Emirates Palace, and echoing the many times members of Dom and Brian’s crew have surveyed downtown Los Angeles from the Dodger Stadium parking lot.
This helpfully orients viewers to the film’s geography, as the team not only ends up dozens of floors above street level, but also at the far western tip of the city, surrounded by water and few roads—not ideal for a Fast and Furious scenario.
Aerial shots of the Towers establish their upper profiles, as well as how the towers relate to each other spatially—Towers 4 and 5 to the north (left), 3 and 1 in the center, with the tallest, Tower 2 to the south (right)
Various interiors are also established—almost certainly soundstages—including an open-plan ballroom and private hallway, which will subdivide the action to come.
As in previous installments, Tej (Ludacris) helps orient viewers by pulling up schematics of the situation, this time joined by Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel).
Brian and Dom find the HyperSport tucked away in the collection of a Jordanian prince “in his penthouse” on an upper floor of what a character identifies as “Tower 1” (though in a moment, this will be Tower 2). Unable to find the device hidden in the car, they of course must drive it through the ballroom: “We’re taking the car!”
Confronted by Shaw, Dom and Brian launch the car through a window, some sixty or so stories up—the angle below indicates that they emerge from the north side of Tower 2—with one of Shaw’s grenades tilting the car as the careen toward Tower 3. (Most of these scenes, except those shot on soundstages, are CGI or heavily augmented.)
Fortuitously, the angles work out, and though Brian repeatedly yells “Cars don’t fly!” in the Fast and Furious franchise most certainly do, and in loving slow motion.
The HyperSport enters Tower 3 a few stories lower, crashing through a partially-finished floor, with Dom realizing the car’s brakes are not working.
One more jump, this time from Tower 3 to Tower 4, with an aerial shot showing the orientation of the pavilion below.
This floor of Tower 4 is occupied by an art exhibition of some sort, which Dom and Brian immediately demolish, crushing terracotta warriors and fine art as they go.
The HyperSport finally crashes out of the north façade of Tower 4, with Brian and Dom rolling to safety before it does so.
Finally, the car crashes back to street level—a much more conventional Fast and Furious elevation—just behind one of the Etihad Towers signs.
As a button on the scene, the team pulls up a satellite image of the Etihad Towers when trying to pinpoint Shaw’s last-known location.
Interestingly, the Etihad Towers jump in Furious 7 mirrors a perhaps lesser-known action scene from the film Black Moon Rising (dir. Harley Cokeliss, 1986), starring Tommy Lee Jones (Sam Quint) and Linda Hamilton (Nina). In it, Sam must steal an experimental car (the Black Moon), which has an important computer disk concealed inside, from an upper floor of a high rise, eventually needing to jump from one building to another.
The action centers on Ryland Towers (in reality the Molina Center at 300 Oceangate, in Long Beach, California, originally completed in 1983). As Sam and his compatriots plan how to steal the car, they work out various approaches, including how to get from one building to the other without crossing the exposed courtyard between them.
As in Furious 7, the Black Moon Rising location is in a relatively isolated corner of Long Beach, though various highways are more accessible than in Abu Dhabi.
The jump in Black Moon Rising, similar to that in Furious 7, is somewhat unplanned, as Sam had hoped to escape via a service corridor to a car elevator. However, this route is blocked, forcing Sam and Nina to ramp their way through the side of the building. Various establishing shots give a sense of scale and distance, with many discussions of the location’s dimensions.
On the night of the heist, Sam shimmies from one unsecured building to its fortified counterpart, winding his way through security to find the Black Moon and Nina.
The jump itself is much less elaborate, featuring a miniature of the Black Moon, but follows the same beats, with the car exiting one upper floor, arcing over the plaza below, only to crash into a mostly-empty floor in the adjacent building.

Mooning. Okay but like even tho this is clothes, I know you're not gonna say anything abt "swimming in his sweater" and that's always much appreciated. As rules go tho, you're always welcome to decline <3.
send me a prompt for a drabble
[not so subtle playlist]
[You] remember that time you said your memory is better than mine?
[Binnie] would I have a better memory than you if I forgot
[You] um...
[You] okay but guess what?
[Binnie] ???
[You] you left your sweater here lol
[Binnie] 🙄 okay that's one thing tho
[Binnie] I'll pick it up tomorrow
[You] oh but that's not all
[Binnie] ????
[You] there's a certain ipod in here...
[You] with a certain playlist...
[You] by the name of...
Mid-message, you laugh at how Bin's incoming call takes over your screen. He doesn't even let you say hello.
"It's not what you think."
"Oh?" you tease. "What's not what I think?"
He sighs on the other end of the line. "Look, that playlist... I just didn't know what to name it, so I just, like— I don't know. I just put in your name because it was the first word I thought of."
That lie in itself is sweet, and now you smile for two reasons.
"Oh yeah? Then why are all of them love songs?"
A pause.
"I like... love songs?"
"Is that a question?"
"...No?"
You laugh again, and the silence on his end isn't the least bit worrying to you right now.
"Bin," you say. "Do you have something you want to tell me?"
He lets out a breath. Two. Three.
"I'll come pick up my sweater tomorrow."

{request: i get really bad chronic migraines sometimes and I was wondering if you could write something where bin takes care of his s/o when they're not feeling well. if you're okay with that :)}
genre: the fluffiest
word count: 2.2k ________________________________________________
Your POV
It was absolutely beautiful outside. The previous night’s snowfall left a pristine blanket of white on the street. You looked outside your window to see several kids making snowmen or engaging in snowball fights.
Ahh the innocent ideal of the youth.
You wished you could go outside and join in on the winter festivities without any care in the world, but alas being a working adult crushed those wishes any day. And it didn’t help that you felt like complete shit right now.
For the past week and a half, you were working nonstop on a project that had a heavy deadline submission which ended yesterday. You barely completed it on time, sacrificing your well-loved sleep and meals to have a presentable end product.
If you were back in high school or college, your stamina could have easily bounced back from the lack of sleep and nutrition, but your body couldn’t handle the neglect right now—and the cold weather only catalyzed your impending sickness.
Trudging back to bed, you winced as you tried to make yourself comfortable under the covers, muscles aching with every movement. You were at least thankful that your boss granted everyone an off-day today because of the snow, giving you one less thing to worry about in your list of priorities.
Faintly, you heard the jingle of keys from your front door, a tinge of excitement filling you at your guest.
“Baby?”
“In my room.”
“Shit, you sound so weak.” Your boyfriend frowned as he entered your bedroom, removing his hat and coat and placing it on the table by your desk. He walked over to where you were laying, leaning down for a kiss when you ducked under the covers, “Binnie, I don’t wanna get you sick.”
He let out a chuckle, removing the blanket from covering your face and stealing a kiss anyway. You scrunched your nose up, “If you get sick, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“I’ll take my chances, baby.” Bin said with a smile, taking a seat at the side of your bed. He softly caressed your hair, “Hmm, how are you feeling?”
“A bit better now that you’re here,” You said trying to sound positive, “but if you’re asking me physically? Terrible.”
“Have you eaten?? What about a shower? Taking one helps a lot, and it makes you feel clean.” Bin nagged, thumb rubbing your cheek. You pouted, lightly shaking your head, “I’m not hungry, and it hurts too much when I move. Maybe later Binnie, my head really hurts right now and I just wanna close my eyes.”
He nodded, immediately standing up to go over to the other side of the bed. Bin crawled into bed next to you, arm hooking under your shoulder as you turned to hug his waist, snuggling as close to him as you could get. He kissed your forehead sweetly, humming a little song as you started to get comfortable, his chest as your pillow. Rubbing your arm gently as he sang, it took you only a couple minutes before your breathing evened out, the pounding of your head dulling as sleep overtook you.
Bin nuzzled his nose in your hair, your scent giving him a fluttery feeling in the base of his stomach. A little nap with you was too good to pass at the moment. Just fifteen minutes, Bin thought as he closed his eyes, feeling his body relax against yours.
After a little while, Bin found himself stirring awake, much to his dismay because he loved his sleep. Blinking the drowsiness away, he glanced at you to see that you were still deeply in slumber, soft snores coming out of your mouth. He smiled unable to stop himself from pressing a kiss to your cheek. He almost felt bad untangling himself from your hold at the risk of waking you up.
Carefully, he got up and out of bed, making sure that you were still tucked in before heading to the kitchen, closing the door quietly as he left. Bin let out a huge yawn as he washed his hands in the kitchen sink, getting ready to prep some ingredients for the soup he was about to make.
Bin played some music on his phone as he cooked, loud enough to give him entertainment, but at a volume so that it wouldn’t disturb you. He was pretty proud of himself after finishing the chicken soup, plating the bowl nicely on one of your bedside trays with some medicine and a glass of water. Bin even cleaned up the pots he used for cooking, knowing that it was better for him to wash it now while he still had the motivation. And there was no way that he would let you lift a finger while he was here taking care of you.
After washing his hands again, Bin went back into your bedroom, tray in hand. He set it down briefly on your table to wake you up, tapping your shoulder. “y/n? Wake up baby.”
You groaned, eyes still closed as you turned in your bed, back facing your boyfriend. “5 more minutes.”
“Baby, the soup’s gonna get cold. C’mon, you have to eat even a little bit.” He reasoned, pulling the blanket so that your upper half was exposed. You nodded drowsily, struggling as you tried to sit up. Bin smiled, propping some pillows up for you to sit against. “I made chicken soup, after you eat take some medicine okay?”
“Okay,” You nodded slowly with your eyes closed, moving your hair to the back as Bin brought the tray over. Your headache wasn’t as strong as before, but your body still felt like it was throbbing a little, hopefully eating and the medicine would help cure you a bit.
“Do you want me to feed you?” Bin teased, half jokingly but also you knew he would if you really asked him to. Again, you nodded opening your mouth obediently. Grinning, he took a spoonful of broth, making sure to blow on it so that it wouldn’t be too hot before feeding you. “You’re so cute, y/n. You really are my baby, hm?”
“Mm I’m sick,” You said finally opening your eyes, sleep still heavy on your lids. You weren’t really disagreeing with him though. “That’s really good Binnie, I can feel my sinuses clearing up a little.”
“I made it with love,” He said cutely, leaning over to kiss you quickly on the lips. You let out an amused chuckle, letting his greasy comment slide as you opened your mouth for more.
The two of you conversed easily as he fed you, catching you up on the latest drama at his work and with his friends. Although Bin made the soup for you, you made sure that he filled his hunger a little bit too, making him finish the rest of the bowl when you felt full. He praised you like a child when you took your medicine and finished the glass of water, it was a bit endearing if you were honest. “Do you need anything right now? How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay baby, thank you.” You said getting comfortable again under the covers. “Cuddle??”
“I’ll just put this away and then I’m all yours.” Bin nodded with a smile, going to the kitchen once more. After a couple minutes, he returned with a towel and a bowl of water.
“I thought we were gonna cuddle?” You pouted looking at him. Laughing, he dipped the towel in the bowl and wrung out the water, bringing it to you and placing it on your forehead. “We are baby, let me just try and bring your fever down a bit, your skin’s burning.”
You nodded, your body basically dead weight as he helped you sit up again, cooling your skin with the damp towel. You hummed in satisfaction, the cold cloth a nice comparison to your hot skin. “We might as well have just taken a bath.”
“Do you want to?” He asked rubbing the towel around your back. “Bath and then cuddle after?”
“Mhm,” You said removing the blanket and getting up, Bin holding your waist as you two walked to the bathroom. He told you to wait a minute as he turned on the water, checking the temperature as it filled up the bathtub. After deeming that the water was at a good amount, Bin started to strip himself of his clothing, stepping into the tub soon after. “Do you want my help, baby?”
“In your dreams,” You quipped removing your shirt. “Keep your hormones at bay, Binnie, my sick body won’t allow it.”
Your boyfriend chuckled, grabbing his phone from the counter and playing some music. “You know sex can help with removing sickness, y/n?”
“Uh huh, ask me that question again tomorrow and we’ll see how I respond.” You said getting in the tub and nestling between his legs. You shivered a little as your skin made contact with the water, leaning back against Bin’s chest for warmth. He grinned, wrapping his arms around your waist as he pulled you close, pressing a kiss to your temple.
You relaxed in the cage of Bin’s arms, resting your head against his chest as he began to sing along to the song that was playing on his phone, rubbing the belly softly under the water. The two of you sat like that for a while, you cooling down in silence, content with listening to Bin’s voice.
“Sit up for a second baby, let me wash your hair.” He said, lifting his arms from your body and reaching for your shampoo. He squeezed a generous amount onto his hand, first massaging it into your hair before using the leftover for his own. It was a bit of a struggle to wash away all the suds, the size of your bathtub barely enough to fit both you and Bin comfortably, but you somehow made it work. After deciding that dunking you both under water to rinse off the shampoo clearly wasn’t the right idea, Bin grabbed the shower head and opted for that instead, giggles coming from the both of you.
“Ah Binnie!” You whined as he started to tickle your sides, your boyfriend laughing as he drenched your head with water. “I’m cleansing you of your sickness, baby!”
That cycle repeated again, this time with conditioner, and by the time the two of you were done with your bath-turned-shower, the floor surrounding the tub was wet from all the splashes and Bin’s use of the detachable shower head.
You shivered, arms hugging your body as Bin grabbed two towels, drying himself off first before doing the same to you. “I could have dried myself, baby.”
“I’m here taking care of you, and that includes drying you.” He shook his head. You chuckled, unsure of his logic but let him do as he pleased anyway. Bin smiled, eyes formed into crescent moons as he dried your hair, gently shaking the towel all over your head. Laughing, you went on your tiptoes, arms locking around his neck as you kissed him. He made a sound of contentment, moving his lips in tune with yours as his hands dropped down to your waist, leaving the towel on the top of your head.
After a minute or so, you pulled away, a giggle leaving you as you saw Bin’s pout. You pecked his lips again briefly, before grabbing the towel and drying your hair again. Bin made sure to thoroughly dry the floor before the two of you went back to your bedroom. He changed into some shorts that he left at your place, deciding to forego a shirt since he usually chose not to sleep with one anyway. You, on the other hand, slipped on Bin’s shirt and a pair of pajama shorts, climbing immediately in bed after your hair was decently dry.
He came to join you after getting another glass of water, encouraging you to drink it all before he cuddled you, knowing that the two of you were going to end up napping again. You finished the glass with ease, placing it on your bedside table, and turning to your boyfriend. He smiled, wrapping his arms around you again as the two of you laid down, finding yourselves in the same position as when he first came over earlier. “How are you feeling now, baby?”
“Honestly? Better.” You said, lips brushing against his clavicle. The medicine kicked in by now, but you were sure that Bin also had a lot to do with your slow recovery. “You’re all the medicine I need, baby.”
He let out a high-pitched cackle, squeezing your body a little tighter as he kissed your forehead. “If I get sick, will you be my medicine?”
“Of course,” You grinned, the tips of your fingers lazily drawing figures on his abdomen. “I love you Binnie, thank you for taking care of me.”
“I’ll always take care of you, y/n.” He said softly, taking in your scent as he closed his eyes. “I love you too.”
You drifted off to sleep listening to his breathing, a deep slumber overtaking you. By the next morning, you woke up feeling loads better, your temperature now at a normal level and your headache mostly gone. You turned your head to see Bin still sleeping, a smile on your face as you craned your neck to kiss his cheek. You sighed, relaxing yourself in his hold before closing your eyes again, sleeping for a little longer wouldn’t hurt. Especially if Bin was by your side.

You Appear On Knowing Bros Together ~ Moon Bin
Your smile was wide as soon as Moonbin joined you in the dressing room, catching sight of you adjusting your tie. You didn’t quite know where to look as his shy eyes studied you dressed ready to appear with your uniform on.
“Can you believe that this is our first appearance together?” Moonbin asked you with a wide smile, “I feel like I need someone to just pinch me for a moment to make sure this is real.”
It had all felt like a bit of a dream for Moonbin until the two of you pulled up at the broadcast station. For months he had been keen to appear on something with you, to be able to show off your relationship, and at last the opportunity had come for you both.
Whilst Moonbin was full of confidence, you were a little bit nervous. You didn’t want to mess up, knowing how much the show loved having Moonbin on the last thing you wanted to do was stumble and cause a mess.
Even whilst the two of you were getting ready, Moonbin could tell that you were getting nervy. Every time that he caught your eye, he reassured you, knowing that between the two of you, you were going to make for a great show.
“Are you ready to head down to set?” Moonbin asked as you stood back from the mirror.
Your head nodded slowly in reply, “we can’t stay here forever, as nice as that may be.”
Moonbin’s head shook as he took a hold of your hand, “we’ll be alright, I’m right by your side so nothing can go wrong, right?”
You weakly smiled in Moonbin’s direction as you walked onto set. After a couple of minutes waiting, you were told it was time for you to go in, with Moonbin pushing up the door to plenty of cheers, guiding you across to behind the desk that was waiting for you both.
“Hello,” Moonbin waved once the two of you were still, “I’m Moonbin and I come from the school of I know you’ve all been waiting for me to come back to you again.”
“And I’m Y/N and I come from the school of I have nothing to promote I’m just hear for the fee and an appearance with Moonbin.”
Everyone in the room knew that the two of you were together, which quickly led to plenty of teasing from Soogeun especially. You weren’t surprised, as plenty of questions came, wanting to know how the two of you met and what your relationship was like together.
“I’m interested to know if Moonbin has any bad habits,” Kyunghoon spoke up in the middle of your conversation, “I mean no idol can be faultless, can they?”
Your head nodded in agreement with him, “I think if I shared with you Moonbin’s bad habits I would probably end up sleeping on the couch tonight.”
“That’s because I don’t have any bad habits,” Moonbin joked, “I’m the perfect idol.”
Your eyes rolled as they all began to tease your reactions, beginning to figure out exactly how much the two of you enjoyed winding each other up. The smiles on your faces let everyone know that you were joking, chuckling away to yourselves.
The laughter continued throughout the reads of your profiles before Moonbin stayed at the desk and you replaced Youngcheol at the front of the classroom. Moonbin picked up his cue cards, looking around the room to make sure everyone was listening.
“Y/N recently surprised me, but what did she do to leave me stunned?” He asked the room, sending a knowing glance to you as you remembered what he had done.
“Did she make dinner for you for when you came home?” Hodong called out first, only for Moonbin to shake his head straight away in reply to him.
“I did something for him,” you added, “but the both of us aren’t the best in the kitchen really.”
“Maybe give you a lift somewhere?” Janghoon suggested from the back of the room, “when you’re an idol you constantly have to travel to places.”
Once again, Moonbin’s head shook, “she didn’t give me a lift somewhere, but she did have to go somewhere for it.”
As a couple more suggestions were thrown around the room as everyone continued guessing. Slowly they were getting warmer, but they still weren’t quite able to get to the answer that Moonbin was looking for, leaving him with no choice but to give them a hint.
“It was something that she did whilst we were filming for our recent comeback,” he told them, “something that it always nice to get when you’re busy at work.”
“Did she pay you a compliment?” Heechul teased from the front of the room, “did Y/N maybe say that you looked nice for once.”
The corners of Moonbin’s smile turned up, but still his head shook. “Luckily for me, Y/N compliments me all the time, but this was something that I wasn’t expecting at all, she completely took me by surprise.”
“Maybe something to do with food?” Sangmin called out, “that’s nice on set.”
The expression on Moonbin’s face began to quickly give the game away with Jinho yelling out. “Did she send you a food or coffee truck whilst you were filming, or maybe surprise you by being in the truck too?”
“That’s it,” Moonbin proudly smiled, “Y/N ended up sending a coffee truck and all of the little things like the cup holders had photos of her and all of the members to make us smile.”
All eyes were on you as you shyly sunk down in your seat as everyone agreed how kind that was for you to do before allowing Moonbin to move onto his next question about you.
“As you know, Sanha and I recently returned with new music, but what did Y/N do to help us out?” He asked the room, watching as you sunk further down.
“Did she help dress the two of you?” Janghoon questioned, raising his arm into the air, only for Moonbin’s head to shake.
Your head shook too as you easily recalled what it was that you had done, trying your best not to just shout and end up spoiling the game.
“Did she move out and let you and Sanha live together whilst you worked?” Soogeun joked, “maybe she slept on the sofa for a while.”
Moonbin chuckled, but again shook in his head. “I would definitely be in a whole world of trouble if I made Y/N move out and replaced her with Sanha.”
You nodded in agreement with him, “if there’s one person I don’t want to be replaced with, then it’s definitely Sanha.”
“Did she maybe help you choreograph?” Hodong then suddenly called out, surprising himself when Moonbin let him know that he’d got the right answer.
You turned around and offered a high five out to Hodong, “I’m glad you look at me and think that I’m someone who can dance Hodong.”
“It surprised me and Sanha too,” Moonbin laughed from behind the desk. “We thought Y/N was joking at first but then when she showed us the move that she had come up with, it seemed to fit the routine perfectly.”
For the rest of the episode, you ran through your questions before playing a game, bringing the day to an end with the two of you back in your dressing room.
Your smiles were both wide as you threw yourselves down on the sofa, “I told you that had no reason to be nervous today, didn’t I?”
“I didn’t think it would be that much fun,” you acknowledged, “but I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do that without you there.”
“It went perfectly because the two of us were together.”

Love is selfish - Part 1
A/N: I really tried T.T the story was really impromptu in my mind and I thought of just spamming my ideas out. Sorry for making Moon Bin an asshole in this story and making Y/N so selfish! ☹ I also apologize for every grammatical mistake (It’s really messy) and so many ‘you(s)’ in this story. Please let me know if you want a part 2. Yea, it’s quite dramatic.
Word Count: 6311 words
The next two hours of Economics lectures hurts your brain, and the hashtag - TGIF isn’t working out well in your life anymore. You realized that you had more or less than 13 minutes left to head for the next lecture, you gathered notes that were essential for it. You took a big gulp of water while making your way to leave the classroom. Without watching where you were going, you bumped into someone that made you lose balance and fell on the floor. “Sorry- sorry! I wasn’t looking.” He apologized, not knowing who did you exactly bump into. You were just picking up your notes that were scattered all over the floor.
“It’s okay.” You replied and looked up at him. Looking at each other felt as if that the both of you didn’t talk to each for the longest time ever. He helped by picking up your notes. He passed you the notes and offered you a hand. You took it without hesitation, in a swift, he pulled you off the ground. He cleared his throat as he walked around the classroom as if he was looking for something. “What are you doing here?” You asked, and he looked at you as if he was surprised at your question.
“Where is Rocky’s table? I gotta grab his shirt.”
You pointed to him Rocky’s table, and he scratched his head, nodding. He avoided your eyes and walked towards Rocky’s table. “Moon Bin, when are you stop avoiding me?” You asked impatiently.
“Y/N, your class is starting in 10 minutes time. You’ve got to go.” His tone towards you sounded foreign like he was trying to push you away.
You walked to his side, “Can we meet tomorrow? I didn’t catch up with you for three weeks.”
“I’ve got a project to do.” He looked at you, expressionless. “See you another time.”
The lesson was extraordinarily boring, and none of the contents of the lecture is absorbed into your subconscious mind. Staring at the projector in the lecture hall, you sighed as you scribbled Moon Bin’s name on the paper. You just can’t get forget how Moon Bin has pushed you away for the first time.
“Y/N?” You looked up clueless as the lecturer spit your name through the microphone. “What’s the answer to this question I asked the class?” Ms. Park eyes bored into your soul as you panicked to answer, not even knowing what was the question. “You were not paying attention, Y/N. If it’s that boring, get out of my class.” She snapped at you.
You tried paying attention to the lesson, and nothing was making sense so far whatever Ms. Park was teaching. You left the classroom clueless about the topics taught today, as Min Ji was ranting about how terrible her boyfriend was yesterday leaving her alone in the club. You were listening, but the thought of Moon Bin pushing you away is etched onto your mind.
“Y/N! God! Are you even listening?!” Min Ji raised her voice.
“Yea Seo Joon scolded you for being a b****.” Repeating what she told you. She rolled her eyes, “At least you’re listening. God, can you believe that? How can my own boyfriend say that……?” She continued.
The buzzing sound vibrated vigorously in your pockets. “Sorry, wait a minute.” You cut Min Ji off unintentionally and hold up a hand signal. She rolled her eyes at you but held up an ‘ok’ signal. “Yup, Y/N here.”
"Y/N, Han Seok here. Is everything okay?” He asked nicely.
“Yeah? Why?”
“Ahhh, I guess you forgot about the movie date today?”
You facepalmed yourself, “Right! I’m sorry. It totally slipped my mind!” Min Ji gave you the why-am-I-not-surprised look at you as you quickly waved goodbye to grab your school bag from the classroom.
"Oppa!” You waved your arms in the air to get his attention. The moment he turned around, he smiled brightly as he waved back and ran to your side. You smiled at him, as he took your hands and intertwined your fingers with his. For the first time, butterflies weren’t flying in your stomach when you walked beside him, unlike the previous times. It felt more like guilt for being with him. It wasn’t right.
Getting rid of those thoughts, you shook your head and focused your attention on him. “Y/N, are you okay?” Han Seok stopped in his tracks and turned to face you. “You look very worn out today, did anything happen in school?”
You bit your lips, “ Nothing. Sorry, Oppa it’s just school stuff that’s stressing me out. ”
Han Seok looked at you, “Sorry that I wasn’t by your side.” He pats your head. You didn’t lie in general, things really did happen in school but it wasn’t nice to tell him about the friendship problems you are currently facing with Moon Bin. “You wanted to watch the Mummy right? Let’s go.“ You changed the subject. He nods his head in agreement and pulled you along to the cinema.
The Mummy was worse than you expected. You didn’t get thrilled nor scared at all. Han Seok reached out for your hands and gave you a small smile. "Hey is everything okay?”
“Yea, it is just boring. Not interesting much.” You whispered. Some couple just asked the both of you to shut up from the back that you and Han Seok stuck your tongues out back at them.
Your phone flashed 4.53pm. Whatever happened in school was still clinging onto your mind. How are you supposed to enjoy the movie if these incidents are going to keep replaying on your mind? Suddenly, you heard strange sounds that you started to look around. You spot a man snoring in the cinema and the scenes bring you back to a time when you watched the Conjuring 2 with Moon Bin.
“Do you know why man always falls asleep during a horror movie?”
You shook your head, “No?”
Moon Bin pointed out, “It’s because he always breaks winds when he is tense so he will use his snores to cover them up.”
Throwing a popcorn at his face, “Don’t be lame. It’s not funny.”
Moon Bin defended himself, “No! I am serious. See?!” The movie showed a nun coming jumping out of the curtains that you heard a faint fart from the side your ears. You and Moon Bin stuck out to see a little boy snoring on the chair and faced each other laughing.
“Hehe.” You snickered to yourself as you watched that man. Han Seok tap your shoulders and you turned to face him, “Hm?”
“Let’s go.” Han Seok stood up and pulled you out of the chair. You silently apologized for blocking the screening of the movie to the people sitting behind you. Dragging you out of the cinema confused, you asked, “Oppa? I thought you liked the movie.”
“But you didn’t. You could have been honest with me, Y/N.” You were taken aback at what he said. You felt guilt the next moment because your mind was just filled with memories of you and Moon Bin the whole time when you were beside Han Seok.
You reached out to him, “I’m sorry, it’s been a really tiring day at school. I thought since you like the movie I should have accompanied you.”
“Which part of ‘dating’ do you not get it? Y/N, can’t you see I am trying hard to resolve what I destroyed?” He asked you angrily.
“Han Seok, what’s wrong with you?! I have already forgiven you. Isn’t it good enough?” God, did his time of the month came?
He let out a heavy sigh, “It’s just that I never seem to figure out what do you really like. I mean everything we are doing right now seemed to be all about me and not about you.”
“I like theme parks. Let’s go there another time.” You mentioned, stopping the fight from continuing. Everything that happened today is too much to handle.
He nodded his head, “Okay, I will buy tickets for the both of us. I’m sorry, Y/N. I was too mad at myself.”
Slinging your bag on your shoulders, “I want to go home.” And from there, you took your leave. The both of you walked home hand-in-hand, and things solved along the way as time passes by. He tried making you feel even better by laughing but you just can’t seem to be yourself when you are with him.
“Okay. Go in, your mom would be worried by now.” He lets go of your hands.
You nodded and reminded him, “Be safe.” Waving at him, he suddenly grabbed hold of your wrist and stole a quick kiss from your lips. Your eyes widened at what happened that left yourself tongue-struck, not knowing what to say.
“I’m going. Bye.” He waved as you blinked several times. It wasn’t a dream, it just happened like that. Your finger reached out to your lips and touched them. Why are you not a bit excited about that kiss at all?
Pondering over what just happened, you noticed someone was watching all the time. You looked up at the house next to you, Moon Bin’s home. You saw your best friend at the window staring at you as he stood in front of his yellow curtain. Your mood lightened up at the sight of him and waved, but he stood there with his hands stuck in his pockets. He was angry… because he saw everything. The next moment he ignored you like you were invisible and pushed the curtains away from him and disappeared into thin air. What have you exactly done to deserve this attitude from him?
“Mommmm, I’m home.”
Her butt was standing out from the kitchen while she was washing the dishes. “Honey! Your dinner is on the table!”
Dropping your school bag on the floor, you flopped down on the sofa in frustration. “URGHHHHHH” You roared that your mother stuck her head out to look at what’s going on.
She removed her gloves and walked into the living room worried. “Baby, what’s wrong?”
Sighing, “I don’t want to talk about it. The more I think about it, the more I might burst!” Your mother wanted to say something, but knowing your mood will get worse she snapped her fingers as if she had something else that could cheer you up.
“How about going Lotte world with your friends next week? I have two tickets with me here.”
“Lotte world? How did you even get the tickets?” Cocking one side of your eyebrows at her. She clapped her hands together, “Ahhh, today Moon Bin’s mother and I went shopping again. They said if we got the beauty skincare masks, we each can get two free tickets to the Lotte World!”
Chuckling at her bubbly character, “Mom, you have to seriously stop with your fetish over free stuff.”
“Hey, at least I’m giving them to you! I’m too old for this.” She put it on the table, “Its next two following Fridays. Go have some fun, honey. The school is stressing you out.” She pats your head, as she continued with her housework.
“Thank you, chupchupchup.” You blow kisses to her and she shook her head slightly.
Holding the tickets in your hands, you walked along the classroom corridors. Should you call Han Seok? Moon Bin? The answer was clear when you caught sight of Moon Bin leaning against a wall. He was concentrating in his phone, and your eyes dilated. You sped up, as you wanted to ask him to go to the theme park with you. The both of you are most hyped up about theme parks since young.
You waved at him and called out, “Moon-”. Seung-min came out of her classroom and kissed Moon Bin on his cheeks. Dropping your hands to your sides, you realize why Moon Bin has been avoiding you. He has a girlfriend. Turning around, your heart started to ache. Was it because you felt betrayed that he did not update about his life or was it because you didn’t want him to date?
Taking part in the life science club after school was the decision you never regretted. You got to deal with chemicals and many sciencey kinds of stuff that is not exposed to the actual science lessons. But today was awkward, the teacher assigned you to work with Seung Min, your junior. You coughed awkwardly as she sat down and smiled sweetly at you for acknowledgment. Seung Min hasn’t really done anything to offend you, so it’s best that you should respect her relationship with Moon Bin.
“Hello! Let’s get started on this together.” You said nicely, and to your surprise, she was the cutest human being you’ve ever met. No wonder that Moon Bin has taken a liking on her.
As you squeezed 2cm3 of ammonia acid into Copper hydroxide that Seung Min was holding in her hands, you envied at how cute and pretty she was. “So… last long with Moon Bin. I saw you and him together at the cinema last week.” You teased her. You wanted to make a friendship with her just like how you are friendly and well-respected with everyone in the life science club.
Her body tensed as she looked at you, ‘’ Unnie, are you being sarcastic? “
Alarmed by her question, “What?! No, sorry. Did I mention anything wrong?” You asked sincerely.
“I mean, you and Moon Bin were close. I thought that you would hate me for it.”
“Oh please, you’re Moon Bin’s girlfriend! Of course, I would support the both of you together. Plus, I’m dating too.” You blushed while mentioning your dating status.
She shot up in a sudden, that you thought the chemical could have spilled out of the test tube and made contact with her skin, “Really?! Since when?!”
“Heyhey! Careful!” You reprimanded, “You could’ve hurt yourself!”
“Sorry.” She whispered as she watched the test-tube placed on the stand. You continued, “Yea, it has been for a month now.”
“Ahhhhhh, last long!!” Seung Min clapped her hands together that you laughed in embarrassment.
“Thank you. You too, Seung Min.”
As the both of you worked together, the more you liked that adorable character of hers. You felt guilty for having a little hatred when you first saw her kissing Moon Bin’s cheeks. She wasn’t as bad as you thought she was.
“Now class, get the chemical X and dump into Y. And be careful! If it touches you, you might not want to face the world anymore!” The teacher warned but in a funny manner that the whole laboratory students laughed together at her. As Seung-min took chemical X from the end of the table to pour into Y, she tripped on the legs of the chair and it created a commotion.
“SEUNG MIN! CAREFUL!” Ms. Kim warned. Everything happened in a slow motion when the chemical spilled onto your hands, leaving behind a burning and stinging sensation, making your eyes tearing.
“SAN HA, CALL MR. LEE FROM THE RED CROSS CLUB NOW. SEUNG MIN AND Y/N ARE IN DANGER.” Ms. Kim ordered him. He nodded and took off immediately. Everyone started to crowd around your table. Some attended to Seung Min, while some attended to you. You started tearing for feeling physical pain for the first time, it stung so badly as if your skin was ripping off from your flesh and blood.
Mr. Lee started marching in, looking horrified at the situation. The dance members also started to peep in. San-ha quickly asked the teacher-in-charge (TIC) to take a look at my hand. “Unnie, Are you okay? There is steam coming out from your hands!”
You shook your head silently at him. At the side of your eye, you saw Moon Bin looking horrified and pushed himself through the crowd. You wanted to tell him that Seung Min is injured in the process. “Moon Bin! Seung Min is injured- ‘’
“SEUNG MIN!” Moon Bin ran past you without acknowledgment of your presence. His knees were on the ground next to Seung Min. He worriedly checked every side of her and made sure she was okay but he did not take a look at you at all, despite the burning sensation that was stinging your hands. You could only stare at the sink.
You only could hear Moon Bin asking worriedly, “Mr. Lee Is everything okay for Seung Min?”
“She only received a cut from the test-tube on her knee. You can just bring her to the General Office to touch up. We need to attend to- “
Moon Bin carried Seung Min within his arms, not listening to what Mr. Kim has to say. “Okay, I’ll bring her.” He rushed out of the laboratory as everyone watched the scene. Whispers started to circulate among the club members, ‘’ Is Moon Bin over-reacting? Her cut is barely even less than 2cm.”
Mr. Lee took over by trying to bandage your hand before sending you to the doctors. You continued to hear more of the members’ conversation, “How did Seung Min get her knee getting cut from the broken test-tube? Not like it’s a grenade bomb that caused her to fall on the ground.”
“That’s why! How is it possible? I mean the least she could have been injured is a tiny cut on her finger. Isn’t it?”
As Ms. Kim drove you to the hospital, your mom totally freaked out from the news and wanted to quickly rush to the hospital that you are heading to but you convinced her to stay at home to prepare for dinner. “Is there a need to drive me to the hospital? I’m fine with a nearby clinic.”
“No, it’s necessary. The school requires any chemical injuries should be directed to the hospital right away.” Ms. Kim replied. You sighed. How the hell did Moon Bin did not take a look at you or even cared for you at all? Is he blind? Was he not going to recognize your existence at all? You felt extremely betrayed by his actions.
Ms. Kim stood beside you as the doctor attended to you, “Make sure that you apply this cream onto your hands every night before you go to sleep. This way, your hands will be back to normal again, okay?” You nod your head as he touched up your wounds and wrapped her hands tightly with the bandage. “There you go. The counter will give you what you need.”
You walked beside Ms. Kim awkwardly, “Sorry Ms. Kim I must have worried you badly.” You smiled awkwardly as you rubbed the back of your neck.
She pointed her finger at you, “You’re lucky it’s not your face this time! The school will cover your medical fees so don’t worry about it.”
“Thanks, I’ll make a call.” You mentioned and Ms. Kim went to the counter to settle the payments. You keyed in Han Seok’s number with one side of your hands awkwardly, but that sense of achievement and pride rose in you when the phone call managed to reach Han Seok.
“Y/N?” Han Seok answered.
“Oppa, I’m at the hospital. Can you drive me home? It’s inconvenient for me to go back with my teacher so…”
The call ended with beepings and you looked at your screen, “Hello? Hello?’’ You haven’t finished your sentence and the next moment, Han Seok ran towards you in his Doctor Uniform? Is that what they call it?
“Y/N! What happened?” He kneeled in front of you and noticed your bandaged hand, “Your hand! Why? Goodness sake, stop being careless!”
To stop him from nagging at you, you poked his cheeks with your index finger to get his attention, “I’m okay.” He examined your bandaged hands. “Y/N, this is…” Ms. Kim came to you and looked at Han Seok.
“Oh, Ms. Kim HELLO, well um this is my boyfriend? “You grinned awkwardly, which student would introduce their partners to their teachers? Han Seok stood up, “I’m Han Seok.” He introduced himself as he exchanged a handshake with Ms. Kim, and in return, she introduced herself as your teacher and explained what happened in school.
“I guess I’ll take it from here.” He took the cream that the doctor prescribed to you, and carried my bag, “Thank you for taking care of her.”
“No problem, so Y/N, I’ll see you in school tomorrow.” You nodded your head in reply and waved her goodbye.
Han Seok drove with a frown formed between his brows and did not speak a word to you at all, you turned to face him from your seat, “Oppa, I am sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt myself.”
“It’s not within your control, Y/N. You don’t have to apologize.”
“Then talk to me.” You pleaded.
“Let’s not go for the Lotte World, shall we?” He asked.
“I want to go! With you!”
“But… your hand…” He sighed as he made a turn, “I don’t want you to get injured further okay?”
“I promise we won’t sit for the aggressive riders. I mean, my hand is totally fine! Look!” You shook your bandaged hand aggressively in the air to prove him that it is a small matter. It went into a total fail when you started to groan in pain.
Han Seok pressed on the brakes at the side of the road, “That’s what I meant!” He unhooked his seatbelt immediately and took your injured hand, “Is it painful?”
You nod your head gently, but that’s not the point. You want to go to the Lotte World with him, to treat him better. “Please, can we go to the theme park?”
“No rollercoasters.” He glared.
“Fine.” You gave him a smug look that he shook his head smiling, he gave up arguing with you. He pressed his lips on your forehead, “I was so worried when you told me you were in the hospital.”
“I’m really sorry. At least you came to me.” You said sarcastically but bit your tongue the moment you said it. Snap what did I just say.
“Huh?” Han Seok pulled away from you, and you cleared your throat. “At least you’re worried and the first thing was to look for me, right?”
“Of course, I would!” He answered in a defending manner, and he hugged you. “You’re all that I have now.”
“Oppa…” Han Seok’s eyes fell your lips and pulled in for a kiss. You wanted to, and you thought you were ready until his phone rang loudly that totally caused the both of you to jump back to your seats. (A/N: GUYS I STRUGGLED WRITING THIS SCENE I CRINGED SO BADLY IDK WHY OK MOVING ON)
“geez.” You fanned yourself in awkwardness and swiped away that fake sweat that you thought was rolling down the side of your face.
“I suck.” Han Seok cussed under his breath that was almost unnoticeable but you clearly heard what he said about himself, it must have been very discouraging for him and you felt extreme shame for yourself.
He picked up the phone call concerning some doctor-y stuff as you distracted yourself by looking out through the car’s window. Your house is just down the lane. “Yea, okay, I’m heading back soon.” Han Seok watched you and you looked at him, as he spoke on the phone, “Okay see you at the hospital. Bye.” He ended the call.
“I can walk back myself. It’s okay.”
“But, your hands…”
“I’m 17.”
“Okay. Let me open the car door for you.” He walked out of the car, and you watched him coming to your side opening the door for you and unlocked your seatbelt. You stepped out of the car as he helped to put on your school bag on your shoulders.
He placed both of his hands on your shoulders, squeezing them tightly, “You sure you’ll be okay?”
“Yes, I promise. Remember, 2 O’ CLOCK.” It’s your turn to remind him this time.
“Okay, take care.” He kissed your forehead, even though the both of you knew what was missing but you chose to ignore it. “Bye.”
“Bye.” You walked away, feeling a sense of relief somehow that like a time bomb froze at the last second before you thought it would explode.
“Y/N.“ The voice sounded as if you didn’t hear it for decades, like a song that was hidden at the very back of your playlist. The both of you stood respectively at your own gates. Clenching your fists, "Wow, you’re finally willing to talk to me after a whole month?” Your tone sounded sarcastically without any intention.
“What have I exactly done to make you so angry at me? You decided to date that toxic guy first.“ He commented.
"Excuse me? Is that the only thing you want to tell me after avoiding me for a month?! How about you getting a girlfriend? Oh sorry, I’m not your friend anymore. Aren’t I?! You didn’t even look at when I got injured by the chemical!” You screamed at him, letting go of the grudge you held against him for so long.
He sighed, as he reached out his hands into his pockets, “It’s not that, I wanted to tell that I have two–”
“You have a girlfriend.” You continued the sentence, turned to the gate and unlocked it.
Moon Bin removed his hands from his pockets, showing two familiar tickets to you. His patience with you slowly forms into a spite with you, “Yea! I have a girlfriend. So, you’re saying I should give than to Seung Min, right? I’ll listen to my dearest, DEAREST best friend.”
“FINE, ENJOY WITH HER THEN!” You argued back, and the next thing you did was you slam the gate behind you and stomp back to your bedroom.
You grabbed a cute white-laced tank top and a pair of shorts slipped on a pair of black converse. Tying your hair into a cute messy bun, you shouted: “Mom, I am going out for Lotte World soon!”
“Wait for a second,” Your mother exclaimed as she ran down the stairs with a lip-gloss in her hand. She pouted her lips to you, that you mimicked her facial expression as she applied a shiny light pink liquid your lips as you pierced your lips continuously together to even them out. You looked at the mirror for the last time, and your total facial appearance was at least more presentable. “Thank you.” She was like your best friend.
“No worries darling, and make sure to come back before 12 midnight! Promise me you’ll be happy again. Okay?” She cupped your faces in her hands and you nodded. She pecks your cheeks and chased you out of the house. “Bye.” You smiled at her.
As you stepped out of the house, you heard a car honked, and you saw Han Seok waving at you as he stepped out of the car. Waving back, you quickly rushed to Han Seok side. He pulled in again for a kiss on your lips that you giggled slightly. “Let’s go, shall we?” He asked as he pressed his lips against the back of your hands that you chuckled out, “Yes.”
He opened the car door for you and you stepped in, taking a seat. You know today he is going to make you feel better and he will take good care of you. You started to leave all worries behind the back of your mind. As Han Seok closed the car door for you, you looked out of the windscreen and saw your mother watching from the curtains, smiling at the both of you. You waved at her again, and Han Seok noticed who you were looking at. “That’s my mom.” You pointed.
He smiled and nodded at her, and also waved. Your mother felt relieved and waved again before she closed the curtains. “Now I see where you get your beauty genes from.” He winked at you.
Smacking the sides of his forearms, “Stop it and drive.” He laughed as he stepped up the engine and drove past your neighborhood. Your eyes followed Moon Bin’s home as it got past you, and a sudden small hint of pain was still lingering onto your heart. You decided to just shake it away.
Han Seok drove through the ticketing counter and you passed the counter, the tickets that you got He gave each of you a wristband that was supposedly worn around your wrist to be able to play for everything. Han Seok left his car for valet servicing and held your hands.
“What do you want to do?” He asked. You bit your lips together and you thought maybe you can give it a try to convince him to sit for the rides. The smug look must have appeared in your face without you knowing that he narrowed his eyes at you, “You’re not thinking about it.”
You grabbed his hands, “Come on! Please!!!”
He shook his head, and you pout your lips. That was every guy’s weaknesses that Han Seok let out a heavy sigh. “No 360 degrees ride.”
“VIKING!!! Let’s go!!” You pulled him along in excitement. The rides were relatively fun and scary, that for the first time, Han Seok actually screamed in the ghost train ride made you laugh like crazy, his reaction was beyond control that your cheeks started to ache. He got out of the ride tickling the death out of you that you ran away from him and you laughed harder, ‘’We have to sit on it AGAIN!” He widened his eyes and rejected in fear. It’s already 6 o’clock from all the rides, that you were dead tired back there.
“We only left one attraction site, I thought we said no 360 ones! You tricked me.” Han Seok’s eyes widened at the map as you sneakily smirked at him, “Hey you had a part in wanting to sit for many rides too.” You formed a victory sign with a smug look that made him narrow his eyes on you, you win.
Han Seok grinned, “It was too fun. What do you want to play now?” He asked. You looked around and saw this dart board game where the soft toys caught your attention.
‘’How about that dart board game?” You pointed to the darting booth corner. Han Seok shrugged his shoulders, indicating that he was cool with it. Both of you walked to the booth, the toys looked fluffy and adorable that you wanted to just hug them in your arms already.
“Which one do you want? I’ll get it for you.” Han Seok said to you as you looked around. You saw this rounded-shape huge Winnie the Pooh pillow and pointed to him the one that was hanging on the ceiling in clear plastic bag.
The worker cut in and smiled at us, “You have to score five bullseyes in a row without failure to get that toy. Are you ready for the challenge?“
Han Seok took the darts and aimed, and the first one he aimed.
The second time, he hit it again! 🎯🎯 Everything tenses up when he is finally aiming for the last bullseye. "Please please please please.” You chanted as he licked his lips and threw it at the dartboard.
“YES!” You screamed excitedly at the top of your lungs as you jumped and hug him.
The girl working at the booth giggled at us, and she told us that she will get us the toy. Until another worker walked past her sulkily, “Damn it. The guy there needs to chill. He is wiping out all the toys already.”
The girl glared at him, “But they have won the toy already! Give that pillow to them” She hissed. Han Seok and you exchanged glances at each other, wondering what was going on until you heard a girl squealing and cheering.
You turned to see Moon Bin hugging Seung Min from the back, and grabbing her hand and aimed for the dart board. They hit the bullseye that he demanded the toy that you wanted to bring home. Jealousy starts to form around you again.
“Sorry? I believe that toy belongs to me. We clearly won it first.” You demanded strictly from the workers. The girl hesitated, as she tried to handle the situation.
“Let me talk to the gentleman there, please give me a minute.”
Han Seok held your hands and turned you around to face him, “How about this? Let them have it. I will buy one for you.” He offered but you shook your head reluctantly.
“No! You won that for me, and I must have it.” You argued as you turned back to see Moon Bin creating a commotion with the workers.
Walking forward to the scene you interfered into their conversation, “Sorry sir, May I help you?” You smiled arrogantly at Moon Bin.
Moon Bin looked at you as he hung his arms around Seung Min’s shoulders, “Clearly, I won this toy and it should belong to my girlfriend. Is there anything wrong here?” He was clearly trying to make you pissed off and pick a fight. He isn’t pleased with Han Seok as Han Seok wrapped his arms around your waist.
“Look, since you have won so many toys, does it kill you to give us a toy?” Han Seok spoke up.
“Yes, it’s for my girlfriend anyways.” The more he emphasized on the word girlfriend, the more you felt like your emotions were about to erupt.
The worker lifted the table and stood in between of us to handle the situation. “Okay, how about this? We will play a different game.”
She pushed out two nerf guys on the table to Han Seok and Moon Bin. “Here’s the rules, if you are able to target the clown’s red nose on all three of them. You win and will get the toy. Is that fair enough?”
Moon Bin and Han Seok bored into each other’s souls as you shook your head in embarrassment. “Why are we settling this like kids again?” You thought to yourself, but you didn’t mean to voice it out.
Together they replied you, “You wanted the toy first!” They shouted in unison that you were absolutely speechless. They are not fighting for the toy. They were fighting for you.
Moon Bin and Han Seok took turns to shoot. To aim the lowest and the second clown’s nose was easy. But the highest was a little hard to aim that they made sure they had to adjust. They shoot together at the same time.
They scored. It’s a tie… until Han Seok’s one slipped off its nose and fell on the ground. Seung Min ran up to Moon Bin and hugged him, jumping with joy while you stood there sulkily watching them. “Ugh forget it,” You told Han Seok as you turned to face another way. He rubbed the back of his neck, feeling apologetic towards you as he truly wanted to win. But you knew he tried.
“Thanks, for trying.” You took his hand and gave him a peck on his cheeks purposely for Moon Bin to catch. You looked back to see Moon Bin’s nose flaring and you smirked at the sight. You thought he deserved it to see it.
Han Seok asked you to wait for you at the bench as he headed for the toilet. You patiently waited as you scrolled through Twitter until someone in pink took a seat beside you. You almost jumped off your seat when you saw Seung Min sitting beside you. “Oh, hi Seung Min.” You waved.
“Unnie,” She called you as you switched off your phone and placed your attention on her, “You like Moon Bin? Don’t you?” She looked at me, with her eyes turning a shade darker as you took in a big gulp. That was really scary for her to look at you that way.
“No. I’m dating Han Seok. We talked about this at the lab before, remember?” You mentioned softly, trying to reassure her that nothing was going on between you and Moon Bin. She looked at you closely again, and suddenly she smiled widely all of a sudden at you. “Of course, you wouldn’t like Moon Bin! Right?” She let out a weird laughter. You watched her warily as you nodded your head slowly, “Yea… of course.” Was she possessed?
“How is your hand? It didn’t hurt much. Right?” You gave her the are-you-serious-look. Really? The first thing people normally do was to apologize but instead, she looked like she is mocking your injury. She was the one who caused you to have a bandaged hand in the first place. You stood up hastily and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
She stood up slowly, “You know what I mean. Good dogs don’t stand in the way.” She said it in a very manipulative way, that she contradicts her sentence with her looks and cute voice. You scoffed as you were amazed at the two-faced girl you were dealing with. Taking a step closer, you wanted to reply something ruthless back until Moon Bin and Han Seok came back together.
“What’s going on?” Moon Bin asked.

The smell of garlic wafts through your apartment, the sound of sizzling following not too far behind it. Moonbin scoops more butter into a burning-hot cast-iron skillet, squinting at the video replaying on his phone. The smell becomes much richer as the garlic browns. It draws you from your sleep, and the growing searing scent lifts you from the couch.
He can hear the noises of shuffling and gets ready to see your face. On cue, your head pokes just-barely around the corner, heavy lids pulling over your eyes. You stole his shirt from him long ago, and the cloth hangs over the shirt you didn’t take off. Your skin looks slightly sweaty. He can see the faint outline of drool on your cheek. He smiles at you and places two steaks in the pan. They sizzle nicely, and he takes the chance to look at you.
Your body moves to the middle of the kitchen, hand scratching the side of your nose. You look faintly at him, head feeling too heavy. He sneaks a few glances at you, but most of his focus remains on the food.
“I’m making steak.” He says the words softly as if he doesn’t want to wake you any more than you are. “And rice.”
You look back at him—a soft, woke-up-too-early pout on your face.
He knows what you want but likes hearing you say it. “Did you want something else?”
No answer appears. You remain watching with half-attentive eyes.
“Hm?” He eggs you on just a little bit further.
“Attention.” You mumble. You’re looking at him with a puppy-dog expression, and his heart starts to melt. He doesn’t say anything, and you try again. “Please?”
He smiles, amused by your use of the word at his lapse of reply. “I don’t want the food to burn.”
“You left me.”
“I knew you would wake up hungry.”
Your stomach growling cements his thinking, but your pout doesn’t change. You take a step forward, but Moonbin’s arm shoots behind him. His palm is facing you, stopping you before you can move any closer.
“I don’t want you by the stove. I don’t know if this is going to pop or not.”
Your pout gets more exaggerated, your puppy-dog-eyes turning sadder.
“I’m sorry.” He shakes his head. “I’ll give you attention as soon as I’m done, okay? Promise.”
You slump in a kitchen chair, following his moves with your eyes. He focuses most of his attention on the pan, wanting the food to be perfect. You make a move as he gets distracted, too involved in debating what vegetables to add to the rice. You slowly, using every bit of sneaking ability in your body, work your way to him. Before he notices you’ve moved, your arms are snaking around him, holding him by his waist.
He sighs and moves the handle of the skillet inwards. Your forehead rests gently against his back. He tells himself he has no choice but to let it happen. He can hear your soft breath and, though he can’t see it, he knows your face is soft and comfortable, almost angelic. Even in a crowded subway car or restaurant or in front of the other members of Astro, if you hug him or he hugs you, your eyes shut and your hands hold him tightly, searching for the most comfortable position to lean your entire body weight on him. It’s always the same, head turned to the left, right cheek flat against him, feet shuffling forward to stand between his even if the situation doesn’t call for that much closeness.
Your breathing morphs closer to a snore, and even if he wanted to move, he wouldn’t.
He continues cooking. He moves much slower than he usually would. Without much thought about it, one of his hands reaches out, holding your thigh. It won’t do much if you do begin to fall, but it does its job in making him feel better. He finishes up the food and turns, holding you in place with his arm.
You fall forward, bumping your head against his chest harder than he wanted you to. “Ow…”
He tries not to smile. You’re pouting again, rubbing your forehead as you do so. He takes the chance to hold your face and kiss the spot. You move back to lean against him, burying your face in his neck. Moonbin leans against the counter. Your breathing slows again, but you don’t entirely fall asleep. Moonbin’s finger lightly traces your face, going over the curve of your cheek and down the line of your jaw. He leans your chin up. You smile, tired and soft, but with eyes so full of admiration, it knocks him breathless.
Seconds of merely looking at each other passes. Your smile is bright, unending. A cheeky smile that forces your eyes into crescent shapes. A laugh forms in his throat and spills out. You’re still looking at him, and he pinches your cheeks. He’s making weird cooing noises, shaking your head back and forth.
You’re reveling in the attention, eyes squeezing the rest of the way shut. He squeezes your cheeks until they’re unnaturally red. You look up at him with full eyes that sparkle brightly, like stars in the sky. Moonbin hums and brushes your hair back. He says something, words you can’t quite understand because they’re mumbled and said almost too quickly to make sense even in his own mind with a babying voice you’ve never heard before.
You just catch the words “cute” and “wow” in his ramblings, but the small shaking of his head and the appreciative tone are enough to cause a more natural blush to travel down your neck. You let him go at it for a little bit, soaking up the attention, before he stops, choosing not to speak but pinch and pull at your cheeks instead.
He holds your cheeks in his palms.
You look up, painting a neon-bright smile on your face. “Hi.”
“Oh.” He melts, collapsing on top of you.
