A Lunar Return Chart is pretty similar to a Solar Return Chart, except that it is focused on the moon. While the Sun takes a year to come back, the Moon takes a month, so your Lunar Return Chart change every month. It will tell you how your month will go, what will most likely happen. We usually have 13 Lunar Return Chart for a year. For this post I wanted to go as JK's Solar Return Chart for 2024-2025, since I already made predictions based on it. I thought it would be either this way. So we will go from September 2024 to August 2025 for this post.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°361 (Sept. 2nd 2024 to Sept. 29th 2024)

Neptune 3H to me isn't surprising since JK did a post this September to defend NJ on Instagram. He used his dog's instagram to do it, which is like saying something but not directly, very Neptune. The 8H Mercury is also not surprising since JK is def mad at HYBE's management because of how they treat NJ. Moreover, Mercury is also rulling the 6H, and with Mars there, there is def a conflict. The Sun and Moon are both in 8H, despite his speaking on his dog's instagram, we will not hear more from JK, he is going to be very silent overall. Nothing more to say, despite I think JK is doing well with good health here.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°362 (Sept. 29th 2024 to Oct. 27th 2024)

JK could feel very inspired this month. JK could also have a lot of inspiration for future projects and could actually either sign a sort of contract or could have some amazing ideas related to current projects. JK could really be very passionate about a project at that time, a work project. JK could also feel very romantic at that time, and could feel inspired by that. He could also just have such amazing ideas he could create new projects. JK could feel closer to his mother this time, he could also have vacations and spend time with his family. JK could also have a change in his appearance, and people will probably say it suits him. He could also be very private. His current contract could change, there could be a change in his work contract. He could have difficulties with friends as well.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°363 (Oct. 27th 2024 to Nov. 23rd 2024)

JK could have a lot of weird dreams this month, have vivid dreams, but he can also feel more tired this month. JK could discover something hurtful about a friend or he will feel hurt by a friend, or something he sees online. JK could also change district this year in military (idk if you say it this way) but location could change or his position could change somehow. Something could happen in his love life that can be hurtful. He could cry a lot about it or get more emotional. JK could spend a lot of time online or be more on social media, posting more, talking more. JK could also reveal a song or a musical project this month. Or he could prepare something like a song. Sorry for the spoil lol.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°364 (Nov. 23rd 2024 to Dec. 20th 2024)

JK could have a glow up on some sense this month, could just look better, and could either change aesthetic or just could look better (if it's possible?). JK could have a miscommunication this month, either online, he could say something that will get people confused, or something will happen and people will misunderstand JK. JK could have a fight or argument with a family member. Or things are moving in his family, things could be discovered in this area. JK could actually change his aesthetic this month, this could be even physically, so he could want to embrace a new aesthetic and this could be related to his artistic side or his inspiration. Excellent health and work this month. JK will feel very lucky in his career. He could have a secret project or keep his work very secretive this month. Jk could also be more emotional this month. JK could put out some of his project this month, so a song or an album COULD come out. Or some preview. JK could change his social media presence this month. He could be more active and more online.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°365 (Dec. 20th 2024 to Jan. 17th 2025)

JK could exercise more this month, wanting to focus more on his health as well. But he could be very focused on the way he looks. He could also want to push his limits. He could work a lot, and well. He could feel very busy as well. JK could be more flirty this month, or be more creative. He could want to have fun, and less want to work. This is a month to let his inner child thrill and be less an adult, iukwim. Something could hurt JK in the career field, but not physically speaking, though ruler of 10h is Mars in 1H so this could still be physically. He needs to watch out for this. JK could learn hard lessons based on his religious or spiritual side. JK's friendship could change, meaning a could lose a friend or just get a new friend, or perhaps both.

JK could want a relationship this month, tho based on this lrc and his src, I don't think he would enter a relationship this month. He could want to, desire one, manifest one perhaps. One of my theory is that JK is way more spiritual than people believe, and I think he already knows his FS but on the spiritual side (already dreaming of her, and connecting spirituality with her, etc.). This could be a strong theme this month. JK could have some holidays from military this month, not sure if it can be, just a possibility. He could see his family again, and find some nostalgia this month. Something is happening with money as well but I am not exactly sure. JK could have something related to money and home, or money and family.

JK could have a harder time this month mentally speaking. He could think often of what he wants, how he wanna connect with people. He could feel more lonely this time. There is a big thing happening in his career, so this means a project could come out (single or album, etc.), but he will find himself having a boost in his career. People will talk about him for sure, and the lights will be on JK. He could have a good money this month because of this thing in his career. More presence on social media but I think it means people will just talk about him a lot this month. Though there can be rumors as well. JK could be blessed with a good reputation this month.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°368 (March 12th 2025 to April 9th 2025)

Pretty harsh month for JK. I think he is gonna need more sleep and rest than usually this month, he could be more tired and have less motivation. JK could find himself obsessing over a romantic partner, or his FS. He could thrive the connection more this month, perhaps also wanting to connect with her more. There is a notion of distance that is not bearable for JK anymore. Perhaps JK's energy towards his FS is stronger this month for a specific reason. JK will work but it will be hard, he will need to work harder for sure. It's gonna be uneasy for him, he will feel pretty down. But this month in particular will be hard for everyone.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°369 (April 9th 2025 to May 6th 2025)

JK is gonna be talked about a lot this month, something may happen and be talked about about him, he could have rumors about him, etc. JK could be more present online too, or talk more with people. JK could have a fight with someone, or be in a conflict, or there could be miscommunication and misunderstandings. JK could work on a project as well. Could have sudden good ideas. Things could be well at work. Good health overall. Though he can perhaps be very emotional and overthink as well.

JK could feel in good health and shape this month. Though he could feel more lonely, and sad. This can be a month he can feel depressed and not actually well. Reasons could be related to family or home life, something emotional could happen. JK could want to be alone, or more on his own. He could have hard times with friends, or to be with people in general. Things could feel overwhelming. He could start to say good bye to people at military. Preparing to leave. Though he can possibly have an argument with a family member too.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°371 (June 2nd 2025 to June 29th 2025)

This is def a Lunar Return about him leaving military. JK will feel proud to have achieved that, he will feel like he learned a lot there. But he will be happy to have accomplished this. JK CAN travel this month, but not sure. JK could find himself reunite with friends, and going out a lot with them. He could still be hurt or sad about his FS. Jk could be less involved in his career this month as he could be more focused on going out, seeing friends and resting.

THIS. This is the month JK is meeting his FS. There is a lot of love and excitement, JK will feel like he found the one. The meeting could def happen this month. Though, this is not the month he will enter a relationship. Jk could perform this month, and get more creative. I have a theory JK will perhaps want to collab eventually with his FS, we will see eventually. Though with the aspects this could perhaps happen this month? JK could get the idea at least.

⊹₊⟡⋆ LRC N°373 (July 27th 2025 to Aug. 23rd 2025)

Okay, well I think my collaboration with his FS theory could actually take place in this month lol. Those aspect that JK has makes a lot of sense. JK is def working this month, preparing something. But this is something he does with someone else. FS could be in it since Venus is in his 10H and 7H ruler is in his 11H, this gives collaboration. Though JK could fee lonely this month or on his own. In any cases, he will probably collab this month (3H ruler in 10H) so it's def a song. Though, even if it could be with his FS, JK could find some hard times to get closer to her. Both 5H and 7H rulers happen to be in the 8H, so I think whatever he feels, he could keep those feelings secretive.

First Murder - Jan. 13th - word count: 362 - @wolfstarmicrofic

The battle was utter chaos.

Jets of colored light shot out from the darkness, and screams rang through the night. Remus looked around for his boyfriend, seeing him dueling two Death Eaters at once.

With a sinking sense of horror, he noticed a third Death Eater sneaking up on Sirius’s unguarded back. Without a second thought, Remus shot the first spell that came to mind.

“Expulso!” he yelled. The spell hit the Death Eater in the chest, throwing them backwards into a pile of rubble. Remus heard a sickening crack.

He didn’t have the time to dwell on that, though. Sirius was still in danger; another Death Eater had jumped into the fray and started dueling him. Remus could tell that he was starting to get tired.

Just then, a stray spell whizzed by Sirius. It missed by a centimeter.

It was a bright, neon green.

Remus saw red.

He ran to where Sirius was, dodging spells and tossing aside people who got in his way. If they were Order members, then he could apologize later.

He cast a quick Protego around them both once he was close enough, and helped take out the remaining Death Eaters.

Grabbing his arm, he Apparated both of them the fuck out of there.

“Pads,” Remus panted, catching his breath in their flat. “Are you okay?”

“Remus,” Sirius frowned. “Why did you do that? I had it handled, and Dumbledore’s going to kill us for leaving early, and-”

“Sirius,” Remus sighed. “You almost just fucking died. The Avada missed you by a centimeter, Pads. And that wasn’t even the only time you almost died in the span of ten minutes!” He threw his hands up in the air in frustration.

Sirius’s brows creased. “What do you mean, Moons?”

“I mean that I probably killed someone who was sneaking up on you!” Remus felt like banging his head on a wall repeatedly.

Then the reality of what he really did hit him. He ran a hand over his face, covertly wiping off any tears that had gathered. 

He would not cry over someone who could have killed his star. He wouldn’t.

Did that make him a monster?

Remus rolls over in bed, looking at the glowing screen on his bedside table. 2 am. He hasn’t got a wink of sleep all night, and he doubt he will as the hours tick by. Yawning, he stretches before getting out of bed and grabbing a book. If he’s going to be up all night, he might as well be productive. 

As reaches the door, not wanting to turn the light on and wake his roommates up, Sirius’ voice from behind startles him. “Where are you going so late?” he whispers. 

Remus turns to see Sirius tiptoeing to his bed from the bathroom. He smiles softly at the usually immaculate hair that’s now a complete mess, and the toothpaste stain on his old faded T-Rex top. He would consider himself the luckiest person in the world if he could wake up to this every morning. Well, he does. Just not in the way he wants. And who could blame Sirius? Who would ever want a monster like him? 

“Couldn’t sleep. Going to the common room to read.” 

“Want some company?” 

“No, no. You go back to sleep, I’m fine on my own.” 

Sirius rolls his eyes. “Merlin, Moons. You don’t have to be alone all the time, you know? Come on,” he crosses the room and opens the door, “let’s go before we wake the others up. You know Pete is evil reincarnate when woken up in the middle of the night.” 

Remus chuckles, and follows Sirius down the stairs, slumping down on a sofa by the fireplace. This is the best time of the day to be in the common room in Remus’ opinion - everyone is asleep, and it’s just so quiet. Peaceful.  

Sirius lies down on the sofa, placing his head in Remus’ lap. He tenses for just a moment, surprised, before realising that this is just Sirius being Sirius. There’s nothing more to it. Purely platonic, at least it is to him. 

Opening his book, Remus starts absentmindedly stroking his friend’s hair. 

“Moony?” 

“Hm.” 

“I love you,” he murmurs. 

Remus squeezes his eyes shut. Purely platonic. “I love you too, Pads. You have no idea.”

I'm limiting this to fics/analysis/headcanon/etc posts I made during the year and skipping over anything that isn't my actual creative work. That said, if you're curious, my actual top post was this funky screenshot from episode 2.

10. Everyone's just fine with Donnie modding the moon buggy? (362 notes)

It occurred to me that despite being MASSIVE nerds for the Jupiter Jim franchise, the bros seemed awfully chill with Donnie taking an actual on-set moon buggy and modding the hell out of it.

A few people argued with me in the notes that the Turtle Tank is so cool no one could possibly be mad about it and I do think that's fair. The Turtle Tank is easily my favorite thing Donnie made in the show.

Moon's core structure is similar to that of Earth, finds study !

A study led by astronomer Arthur Briaud from French National Centre for Scientific Research revealed Moon's core is solid and has iron-like density. The lunar core's structure mirrors Earth's, with a fluid outer layer and solid inner core. Well, the verdict is in. The Moon is not made of green cheese after all.

A thorough investigation published back in May has found that the inner core of the Moon is, in fact, a solid ball with a density similar to that of iron. This, researchers hope, will help settle a long debate about whether the Moon's inner heart is solid or molten, and lead to a more accurate understanding of the Moon's history – and, by extension, that of the Solar System.

"Our results," wrote a team led by astronomer Arthur Briaud of the French National Centre for Scientific Research in France, "question the evolution of the Moon magnetic field thanks to its demonstration of the existence of the inner core and support a global mantle overturn scenario that brings substantial insights on the timeline of the lunar bombardment in the first billion years of the Solar System."

Probing the interior composition of objects in the Solar System is most effectively accomplished through seismic data. The way acoustic waves generated by quakes move through and reflect from material inside a planet or moon can help scientists create a detailed map of the object's interior.

We happen to have lunar seismic data collected by the Apollo mission, but its resolution is too low to accurately determine the inner core's state. We know there is a fluid outer core, but what it encompasses remains under debate. Models of a solid inner core and an entirely fluid core work equally well with the Apollo data.

To figure it out once and for all, Briaud and his colleagues collected data from space missions and lunar laser ranging experiments to compile a profile of various lunar characteristics. These include the degree of its deformation by its gravitational interaction with Earth, the variation in its distance from Earth, and its density.

Next, they conducted modeling with various core types to find which matched most closely with the observational data.

They made several interesting findings. Firstly, the models that most closely resembled what we know about the Moon describe active overturn deep inside the lunar mantle. This means that denser material inside the Moon falls towards the center, and less dense material rises upwards. This activity has long been proposed as a way of explaining the presence of certain elements in volcanic regions of the Moon. The team's research adds another point in the "for" tally of evidence.

And they found that the lunar core is very similar to that of Earth – with an outer fluid layer and a solid inner core. According to their modeling, the outer core has a radius of about 362 kilometers (225 miles), and the inner core has a radius of about 258 kilometers (160 miles). That's about 15 percent of the entire radius of the Moon.

The inner core, the team found, also has a density of about 7,822 kilograms per cubic meter. That's very close to the density of iron.

Curiously, in 2011 a team led by NASA Marshall planetary scientist Renee Weber found a similar result using what were then state-of-the-art seismological techniques on Apollo data to study the lunar core. They found evidence of a solid inner core with a radius of about 240 kilometers, and a density about 8,000 kilograms per cubic meter.

Their results, Briaud and his team say, is confirmation of those earlier findings, and constitute a pretty strong case for an Earth-like lunar core.

And this has some interesting implications for the Moon's evolution.

We know not long after it formed, the Moon had a powerful magnetic field, which started to decline about 3.2 billion years ago. Such a magnetic field is generated by motion and convection in the core, so what the lunar core is made of is deeply relevant to how and why the magnetic field disappeared.

Given humanity's hope to return to the Moon in relatively short order, perhaps we won't have long to wait for seismic verification of these findings.

DCMK Blu-rays

A list of Detective Conan and Magic Kaito content with physical HD releases.

This won't be comprehensive by any means; I'm going to be focusing on Japanese, German, and United States releases because these are the ones that I own and am most familiar with. I believe that many of the films are also available on Blu-ray in several countries, dubbed in several languages, but I don't have much concrete knowledge about that at this moment. Please feel free to add any information!

That said, the main thing to know about Detective Conan Blu-rays is that... they kind of don't really exist. The television series is (mainly, more on this later) released on DVD only in Japan, usually with the equivalent of four episodes per disc, sold at 4,620 yen each. They're grouped in "Parts," with up to 10 Volumes per Part, and the next release, on June 23rd, will be Part 31, Volume 3, containing episodes 1007, 1008, 1010, and 1013.

A handful of episodes are released on Blu-ray via collections in Japan; there are the Treasured Selections and Akai Family TV Selections. But with a series running over 1,000 episodes, it really is just a handful of episodes available in these collections.

Finally, special edition Blu-rays for Movies 17-25 include a second disc containing the movie's tie-in anime episode... but that second disc is likely a DVD, speaking as someone who doesn't own any of these but does own the Japanese special edition Blu-rays for Movies 14 through 16, where the second discs are, indeed, DVDs.

German Blu-rays

Outside of Japan, Germany is currently releasing boxed sets of the Detective Conan series starting from Episode 1. At this time, these are the only physical releases of the remastered footage (which make a big difference), and they include Japanese and German audio (but any German-dubbed songs are omitted). Three boxes are available now, covering Episodes 1 to 96 (or 102 with the international numbering); a fourth box is set to be released on May 19th, covering up until Episode 122 (or 129 with the international numbering).

Do note that these releases edit the name boxes in a way that can't be turned off, however.

As far as I'm aware, there are no HD releases anywhere of the OVAs. They're available on DVD in Japan, either separately or via four "Secret File" compilations (though these only cover OVAs 1-9).

There also aren't any HD releases of the Magic/Bonus files, but DVDs are included with the Japanese special edition versions of Movies 12-16. They're also available for individual purchase in Japan as well.

TV Specials 1, 2, and 4 (with 3 being the Lupin special, 5 being The Disappearance of Conan Edogawa, and 6 being Episode One) seem to be DVD only, too. Actually, I'm not sure if TV Special 1,"Time Travel of the Silver Sky," is available on disc at all? But TV Special 2, "Black History," is said to be included with the Japanese special edition DVD of the second live-action drama special, and TV Special 4, "Fugitive: Kogoro Mori," is included on the Part 24, Volume 7 DVD.

TV Special 7, "Love Story at Police Headquarters ~Wedding Eve~," might be included on Blu-ray in Japan with the special edition of Movie 25, but I can't confirm if that disc is a Blu-ray or DVD right now (and the same goes for The Scarlet Alibi, included with the special edition of Movie 24 in Japan).

The eight VHS-only Shogakukan Illustrated Encyclopedia Series tapes are obviously not available in HD, either.

Tl;dr?

So, in short, combining releases and eliminating the not-remastered Treasured Selections, you can find 186 episodes on Blu-ray right now (with more on the way with the fourth Detektiv Conan box). You can also get all of the films and Magic Kaito series, plus a few specials, in HD.

And I think that's all I've got! Feel free to add more information if you know any! I am desperate to physically own more HD DCMK content.

EDIT: I've done some more digging, and from what I can tell, starting with Movie 24, the Japanese special edition Blu-rays for the films changed the bonus second disc from a DVD to a Blu-ray instead. This means that Episode 1,002, "The Beika City Shopping Center Garbage Bin Mystery," included with the special edition of Movie 24, as well as Episode 1,039, "The Flying Jack-o'-lantern," included with the special edition of Movie 25, are available on Blu-ray, too. So, a more accurate number of episodes that have been released on Blu-ray (in HD) at this time is actually 188. Further, this confirms that The Scarlet Alibi and TV Special 7 are also available on Blu-ray in Japan.

Additionally, though I have provided a couple of links throughout this post, the Detective Conan World wiki deserves a bigger shout out than I initially gave; their "Collectibles" page, and particularly their "Japanese Blu-ray" article, were a huge help in compiling the information laid out here. Many, many thanks to the contributors.

And while I'm here, for those interested in English-language releases specifically, Magic's Detective Agency is a fantastically detailed resource for every DVD released by FUNimation (Volumes, Season Sets, and Films). They're not HD releases, true, but at the time, they're the only physical releases of any episodes and the first six films in English.

Finally, I also discovered that a fifth Detektiv Conan box is set to be released on July 21st! This should mean that remastered episodes up until 145 (or 155 with the international numbering) will be available on Blu-ray, and it bodes well for these releases to continue. Hopefully, there will be physical releases of the remastered footage in other countries, too!

The first time Spencer feels a pull at the bottom of his shirt from a person who is not less than ten years old, he's at work. It's not a big deal. He's in the middle of something, sure, but it doesn't feel insistent. Whoever it is waits for the minute that he's directing stuff for Games, silent until Spencer turns around to see them. And it's Tommy. So it's not like he was ever going to be mad anyway. He raises his eyebrows, looking up at the other man's face with a smile. Tommy's fingers pinch at the hem of the front of his shirt now. He's so fucking cute.

"Hey," Tommy says, just looking at Spencer for a moment without speaking. They've agreed not to do the whole public display of affection at work thing (and in general), out of respect for everyone else but also just because they haven't been together that long. That was one of the surprises of the beginning of their relationship, honestly. He's always been somewhat affectionate in his relationships, sure, and he had thought that he had been clingy in previous relationships. He can't keep his fucking hands off of Tommy, though, and it doesn't seem like vice versa is happening either. Like somewhat in a sexual way, but also in the fact that Spencer wants to be touching him all the time, and he wants to look at him all the time, and he has never thought of himself as a guy in one of those annoying couples, openly besotted with one another, but well. "Hi," he replies, that saccharine honeymoon phase sweetness wrapping even around that single word. Tommy pulls him a little closer, fingers twisting in the bottom of Spencer's shirt. They've been officially dating a month or so, and he can't decide whether they should be over this part yet, but he doesn't know how to love Tommy at a lower volume and he's not super into the idea of teaching himself how.

"You look good today," Tommy says. Spencer snorts, rolling his eyes and looking away from his boyfriend.

"Did you just interrupt your whole day to come tell me I look pretty?"

"Hey now, I said you look good, no one ever said pretty," Tommy protests, wrinkling his nose.

"So you don't think I'm pretty?" Spencer asks, outright grinning now with it being so easy to wind Tommy up. Tommy breathes out through his nose and obviously tries not to rise to Spencer's bait, but after a moment of inaction scrunches his nose and physically shakes off the sensation of attempting to limit his ire.

"That is also not what I said! I do think you're pretty, I just didn't know if that was, like, an okay compliment for you, some guys are uncomfortable with it," he says, his tone embarrassed and waspish as he peters off there. Spencer can't fucking help but look at Tommy like he hung the moon in the sky. He rocks on his feet into the other man's orbit.

"You can call me whatever you want," Spencer says, not without a note of challenge. Tommy raises an eyebrow, returning the challenge.

"Anything?"

"Within reason," he says, trying to stick a caveat of sorts on it, but he's hardpressed to think of a single thing he wouldn't at least consider with Tommy. It's Tommy. If he's into something a little weirder than handcuffs and shit, then, like, whatever, right? It's Tommy. Several images pass through his mind at once of doing things he's never done in his life with Tommy, images he does not allow himself to linger upon at all because they are at work, dude, keep it together. Tommy's looking down at him with a smile and narrowed eyes, like Spencer is something he's trying to figure out.

"You would totally, like, actually let me call you Daddy if I wanted to. Dude, you like me so much it makes you look stupid," Tommy observes, because there really is no other word for it. It's true, Spencer does. Still, he scoffs.

"How dare you? My stupidity makes me look stupid, so jot that down," he says, snorting at his own joke as Tommy swats at him.

"Shut up, you're not stupid, stupid," Tommy sputters, one of his hands lifted like he's going to push Spencer back, but he just lays his palm flat on Spencer's chest instead. Spencer puts his own hand over it, fondness thick in his throat as he laces their fingers one over another.

"You say such sweet things to me, baby," he says, maybe a little quieter than an appropriate speaking volume but a little louder than a whisper, surely. The desire to pull Tommy down to kiss him is so strong it aches, clawing through him like hunger pangs. Tommy is looking at him like he can't help but agree.

"This is not work appropriate, Spencer Agnew," he says, lips pursed. They're shiny. Spencer flicks his gaze back up to make eye contact.

"You're the one who came over here to tell me I look pretty, dude," he replies, the desire to kiss Tommy not getting any smaller, and the gap between them not getting any larger. Knuckles are knocked against the door frame twice and they both look over, seeing a sheepish Shayne shrugging his shoulders.

"Hey guys, sorry, but Lisa said she needed Tommy, and Spence, you're about five minutes late for a meeting," he reminds them both, smiling apologetically before he taps the door frame again and moves on with his day. They separate from one another reluctantly, Spencer squeezing Tommy's fingers between his own before heading down to his meeting. It could have been an email. He doesn't see Tommy again til the end of the workday; Tommy walks him to his car, opens his stupid fucking door for him, stands with Spencer's car door open and leans against it while they finish their conversation, the whole nine. He kisses Spencer and asks him to come over, in the parking lot where anybody could see them. Spencer makes the drive to Tommy's apartment with the memory of that kiss burning within him.

They have a really nice night together. Tommy makes him promise to text him when he gets home. Something hot and bright takes up residence in his rib cage.

He's editing when he feels it this next time, and the fact that it's a recurrence rather than the first time does make it less surprising to find that it's Tommy pinching the fabric of the shoulder of Spencer's shirt between two fingers. He finds a stopping place pretty quickly and then spins his chair around to face Tommy, who is much closer than Spencer thought he was. Like, logically, it makes sense that Tommy was right behind him before he turned the chair but now Spencer's boyfriend is looming over him and wow, that's hot actually. He's a short king but he's never really dated someone taller than him before; most of his exes are cis women around average height. Tommy is like half a foot taller than him. Sitting down, Spencer has to tilt his head back to look at him, hooking his fingers in Tommy's belt loops.

"What's up?" he asks with a grin, helplessly happy to see Tommy as always. Tommy's expression goes soft just for looking at him and it sends warmth through Spencer.

"I had a question," Tommy says, though instead of asking anything, he just continues to look at Spencer. Spencer grins.

"Forgot your question, huh, Squidward?"

"Despite it happening every time, I still get surprised that you're always cuter than the last time I saw you." Spencer groans.

"Baby, you are down so bad for me. Listen to yourself," he says, leaning his head against Tommy's stomach. Tommy cards his fingers through his hair and Spencer fights the urge to go pliant against him and just let Tommy hold him up. There's a worried quality to the gentleness of his hands, like he's handling Spencer with care. It's equal parts nice and disorienting. He doesn't know that anyone has ever looked after him like Tommy does. Tommy tilts Spencer's head back into his hands, his thumbs behind Spencer's ears as he adjusts Spencer to look at him. Spencer just lets himself be moved. What is he if not supplicant beneath Tommy's hands?

"You okay?" Tommy asks, head tilted. Spencer gives a short laugh and nods as well as he can, looking down and away from making eye contact with Tommy. So maybe he hasn't been sleeping well lately, and maybe he hasn't slept well since the last night he and Tommy slept in the same bed, but even if those things were true, they would be Spencer's problems and not Tommy's problems. It's Spencer's own fault he barely takes care of himself. He's overcaffeinated and overworked and he knows that, it's just that knowing that doesn't mean there's less work to do and it doesn't mean he has more time to sleep. Giving a small concerned noise, Tommy runs his fingers through Spencer's hair, which is not a fair thing to do when Spencer is trying to compose himself.

"I'm fine, Tommy," he says, knowing as soon as it drops out of his mouth that he said that a little too flatly for Tommy to go with it. True to form, Tommy frowns.

"Hey, I wanna help. We've talked about this, bub," Tommy says, and they have, and Spencer sighs. It was one of their first... it wasn't a fight, really. They haven't been together that long, they haven't gotten into any real fights yet. There is, however, a pretty open policy to their relationship where if something is bothering them, they bring it up. He had actually been the one to bring it up, thinking about Tommy's disposition to hold a grudge, the way he minimizes his own annoyance til it explodes. Tommy had agreed to tell him if he was ever bothered, but not without some conditions of his own. Tommy will ask for help as long as Spencer will too. So yeah, Spencer sighs.

"Come over tonight?" he asks, leaning back into Tommy's hands. Tommy raises his eyebrows.

"Come over like have dinner together or come over like-"

"Come over like spend the night, Tommy. Come over like sleep in my bed," Spencer clarifies, low and honest. Nodding, Tommy starts to lean down, aborting the motion after thinking it through, probably. They're at work. Even a quick kiss is too much PDA for work, right? They're in public. It doesn't mean that Tommy pulling away without kissing him doesn't sting a little. They agreed on little to no PDA.

He still can't control the way his face falls. He's not a miracle worker.

"I should get back... I'll come find you if I remember my question?" Tommy asks, posing it as a question as if Spencer would ever not want Tommy around. Be so fucking for real. Spencer gives him a smile and a nod and Tommy squeezes his shoulder. It's not the kind of goodbye that Spencer would like them to have with one another. He doesn't even know what he would rather them do, but this thing where they're not acting any different than when they were just friends is throwing him off. And like, they agreed to no PDA and he's aware of that, and he's cool with that! He'd never want Tommy to do something he's not comfortable with. Maybe it would be nice, though. Who knows?

It isn't just happening at work now. At the grocery store, when they're cooking dinner together, if he wants to hold Spencer's hand while they're walking. Tommy'll just tug on Spencer's sleeve or the bottom of his shirt or the lapel of his jacket or his belt loops, using anything really to get a grip on Spencer to get his attention. A lot of the time, Tommy looks at him apologetically after he does it, like he hadn't meant to do it and thinks Spencer is annoyed with him for it. But like, Spencer couldn't be further from annoyed if he tried. It's fucking cute, you know?

And like of course it's cute. It's Tommy. Be realistic.

When they end up having to talk about it, Spencer is glad that they're at home. Tommy's place, anyway. Home is relative these days. They're standing in the kitchen debating what they're going to eat, and Spencer was looking through the cabinet when there's a pull at the back of his shift. Used to it by now, Spencer smiles and turns, Tommy's hand moving to the front hem. For some reason, he's not expecting Tommy to look embarrassed, retracting his hand.

"Sorry-" Tommy starts, but Spencer takes his wrist in hand, pulling it back to rest at the hem of his shirt. Tommy doesn't return to the action at first, so Spencer makes it more obvious, holding the fabric out for Tommy to grab. He does so reluctantly.

"I don't mind," Spencer assures, smile soft as he looks up at Tommy. Tommy looks down at him, obviously skeptical, expression still tinged with that thick embarrassment Spencer would do anything to assuage.

"You don't mind that I tug on your shirt like a little kid," Tommy says, deadpan and flat. Spencer shrugs.

"I mean, yeah," he says. It's that simple for him. He doesn't mind. Why would he mind? It's cute. It's sweet. It's Tommy. Why the fuck would he mind?

"I know it's annoying, Spence, you don't have to pretend it isn't," Tommy continues, cynical smile splitting his mouth. Spencer grabs Tommy's hand back from where it's holding onto his shirt, lacing their fingers and pulling Tommy over to the couch. Some conversations are better had sitting down and holding onto one another, and so they will. He sits down and pulls Tommy to stand in front of him, leading him to sit forward in Spencer's lap and pulling him closer then into a hug. Tommy breathes out a relaxing breath through his nose slowly, tucking it into the rolled collar of Spencer's hoodie. Hands spread across Tommy's back to hold him close, Spencer takes it upon himself to clarify something.

"I like it," he says, to which Tommy immediately rears back to squint at him.

"You what." It doesn't even sound like a question, still Spencer smiles and answers, holding his hand to Tommy's cheek.

"I like when you pull on my shirt, or my sleeve, or my belt loops, or whatever. It's cute and it-" he pauses, unsure if the other part is something you tell other people or just an inside his head thought. He doesn't always know how to tell those apart. Tommy hooks his fingers where he had tucked his nose before.

"And it what, Spence?" he asks, quiet and gentle, and Spencer could swear he was the one doing the reassuring here. Sometimes it feels like they pass the idea of being the composed one back and forth, bloodhounds for one another's soft spots. Spencer clears his throat, looking down and to the left.

"It makes me feel like you need me. That part's kinda nice," he admits, clearing his throat again like that'll get rid of the ball of anxiety that he just can't swallow. A confused noise follows that, and when Spencer looks at him, Tommy only looks more puzzled than he did before.

"I do need you," Tommy says, dropping this as if it's obvious and the idea of someone not coming to the same conclusion had never even occurred to Tommy. Spencer raises a skeptical eyebrow, cognizant of the fact that they haven't been together very long, and Tommy could bounce back from breaking up with him pretty quickly if they did it now. Sometimes, it feels like he's always going to be waiting for that other shoe to drop. "Baby, you're my friend. Like even if I wasn't totally crazy about you, which, for the record, I am, we've been friends a good little while here. We've spoken almost every day for several years. I love you." There's a lump in Spencer's throat and Tommy's holding his face like he's something precious and Spencer doesn't know what to do with all of this sincerity.

"We were talking about you," he protests weakly, his expression souring. Tommy leans down and kisses him gently, backing off after just a moment of contact. Spencer strains up to follow him, but Tommy stays out of his reach. Fucking tall boyfriend. Asshole.

"I want to talk about you, now," Tommy says, using his hand on Spencer's jaw to tilt his head up a little more, making it nearly impossible to do anything besides make eye contact with him. He has pretty eyes. That's not really what they're talking about, though.

"I like when you grab onto me because it makes me feel like... it makes me feel like you want me around more than you care about looking normal and social niceties and being in public. It makes me feel like you don't mind what other people think if it means we're touching. It's really dumb, and romanticized, and I know I'm being like. Weird about it. So like, it's an in-my-head thing. I just don't want you to think that I'm annoyed with you for holding onto me, or pulling me places or whatever. I think it's neat. I don't know," he rambles, just closing his eyes halfway through because he doesn't know if he can bear how Tommy has to be looking at him right now. He knows he's weird in relationships sometimes. He likes the idea of someone (of Tommy) liking him to the point of caring more about having him close than about whatever societal rules they're supposed to be observing. They agreed upon little to no PDA. It's completely cool with him, but. The pulling is nice.

"Baby," Tommy whispers, brushing a kiss along Spencer's cheek as he tries to wrap himself entirely around Spencer through determination alone, his knees closing around Spencer's hips like somebody is gonna try and lift him off his boyfriend's lap or some shit. Spencer rubs his hand up Tommy's back again, not saying a goddamn word. "I want you like. All the time, dude. I like holding your hand and kissing you in public and being the sappy couple with you. I just didn't want to push it because we decided no PDA from go. Why did we decide on no PDA if we're both cool with PDA?" he asks, sounding more like he's musing aloud than actually posing the question. Still, Spencer answers. Such is his nature.

"I thought you wouldn't want to. Like, as a. Okay, logically, I know that we are together at least partially because you're attracted to me, but it's hard to remember sometimes that this incredibly hot guy is actually cool with the idea of people knowing we're in a relationship," he says, saying way too much and immediately pressing his face back into Tommy's shoulder and wishing he could, like, disappear or something. He's aware of the fact that his self esteem these days probably falls beneath double digits on the assessment they make you take at doctor's appointments when they know you're mentally ill. Like, he's aware. It's just that it's easier not to talk about it, to make it small and ignore it, self aggrandize til everyone thinks he believes his own myth too, and it's some fucking bullshit. Having low self esteem is some bullshit.

"The way that you think I would not sit on your lap in front of everyone we know is extraordinarily funny to me seeing as I do not know if I could project a more down bad for you vibe if I fucking tried, dude," Tommy says, smooth sarcasm running through his voice even as he makes Spencer blush a lurid red. He strokes his thumb over Spencer's cheekbone. Looking at him makes Spencer's heart ache, fondness almost as thick as nausea in his throat. Like love is something that he has to cough up, wisteria spreading itself through the branches of his bronchial tubes. He doesn't know what to do with all of that feeling.

"I really fucking like you, Tommy," he whispers, leaning into Tommy's hand. Tommy leans in and presses another kiss to his lips.

"Well, that's great, because I really fucking like you too, Spencer. I really fucking like you," Tommy repeats, kissing him again, longer this time and so sweet. Spencer lowers one of his hands and grabs Tommy's ass just because he can. Tommy breaks the kiss, snorting and pushing his face down against Spencer's collarbone.

"It's a nice ass," Spencer says, shrugging the shoulder that Tommy is leaning on. Experiencing the honk of Tommy's laugh this close would probably be startling if Spencer wasn't always looking to make it happen, always ready for it because it's what he wants to be happening. He likes making Tommy laugh like that, striking him with amusement he wasn't expecting to the level that he's not prepared for it, that he loses all sense of volume control. More in the positive, Tommy presses a kiss to his cheek, the laughter something Spencer can now feel as well, and he's in love with Tommy, fuck, he's in love with him. He won't tell him now. But fuck, it's true.

He isn't sure if when Tommy said he loved him, if he- it's really early for them to be saying I love you, right? Like, they've been friends for years, sure, but there's a pace that is supposed to apply here and it sure as fuck is not applying. But Tommy meant that he loves Spencer like he's always loved Spencer, like they've been friends since they started working together kind of love for Spencer. They're still working on the in love thing. There's no fucking way Tommy is in as deep as he is on this. He's this deep in because it's Tommy. Wait a fucking second.

"I think I just realized that you actually like me. Like right now. Like with you in my lap? Yeah. Like I think my brain has only been processing the part where I'm in love with you, and like the other side of that equation just never hit me before right now. Holy shit. You like me. Like genuinely," Spencer rambles, unable to stop the pace of his speech just given the absolute revelation of this, and how fucking dumb it is that this feels like a revelation. Tommy is looking down at him with open confusion. Well, he can dig that. He is aware that the way his brain works isn't always, like. Good. For him or for others. Realization crosses Tommy's face and he tenses, blinking and looking away from Spencer's face before he speaks.

"I don't make you feel like I love you?" he says, soft and a little sad. Fuck. He reaches up and cups Tommy's face in his palm, running his thumb over Tommy's cheekbone. He waits to speak til Tommy's looking at him, big brown eyes finally meeting his own.

"You make me feel so fucking special, dude. You make feel taken care of, and cared about, and enjoyed, and appreciated, and worthy in a way I didn't even know I was fucking missing. It just didn't click for me that like- that's. That's you loving me. That is me being loved by you," he says, trailing off with the last bit, heart pounding in his ears. Holy shit. That's how Tommy has looked at him this entire time, isn't it? He feels like he's been ignoring an entire aspect of their relationship, the obvious conclusion blocked by stupid ass low self esteem. Tommy leans down and kisses him softly, gentle and tender and all of that bullshit that makes Spencer feel so fucking loved under his hands. He loves him. Holy shit. How is anyone normal about being in love? This is crazy. What the fuck.

"I love you. Dumbass," Tommy murmurs against his jaw, leaning down on Spencer's shoulder. Spencer wraps his arms around him.

"I love you too," he says, the feeling of this interaction, this reassurance, this love a warm weight in his stomach, heat rising through his chest.

"You need to tell me if you feel like that," Tommy reminds him, bussing a kiss across his cheek. Spencer makes a vaguely agreeing noise.

"You need to tell me if you feel like that, too. I don't want you to ever feel like I'm annoyed by you being you. I'm not. I like when you pull me places and I like that you flirt with me badly when you're drunk and I like when you talk through movies and I like when you tell me about Drag Race I've never seen and I like everything else you've ever apologized to me just for doing. That's kinda, like, part of loving you, dude. I love you. Cute little habits and all," he rambles into Tommy's shoulder, unable to make himself pull back and look up at Tommy to say any of this. He doesn't like talking feelings shit. It's awkward and vulnerable and it makes him feel a little nauseous, but again. This is Tommy. If Tommy needs to know how absolute insane about him Spencer is, then well, he's gonna have to put his big boy pants on and tell him. Fuck.

"You really love me, huh?" Tommy says softly, like he's having the same revelation Spencer had a few minutes ago. Spencer chuckles roughly, leaning up to fumble through kissing Tommy gently, tears in his eyes.

"I think we need to start believing each other more, baby," he whispers, pulling a laugh from Tommy as well. His heart aches in his chest. Tommy kisses him, gentle and steady, before pushing himself up out of Spencer's lap, standing to his full height. He extends a hand to Spencer once he's firmly on his feet. Spencer raises an eyebrow.

"I'm thinking we lay down in bed and look through delivery apps for a little while?" Tommy proposes. Spencer lets himself be pulled up, lets himself be lead, lets himself be loved.

They end up ordering Chinese.

The Witch-king as Sauron's Emissary

In one of Tolkien's earlier drafts, the Witch-king survives the Battle of Pelennor Fields, and serves as Sauron's emissary at the Black Gate.

The scene where Eowyn challenges the Nazgul at Pelennor is much the same: they spar verbally for a few moments, and then she cuts off the head of his fell beast. However, in this version, the Witch-king does not attempt to slay Eowyn for killing his fell beast, and Merry and his barrow blade are nowhere to be found. The Witch-king, now bereft of a mount, makes a hasty retreat. The implication is that he tears off his cloak and flees to safety… which means that he wore no armor to the battle, and that his physical body was naked beneath the cloak.

"She raised her shield, and with a swift and sudden stroke smote off the bird's head. It fell, its vast wings outspread crumpled and helpless on the earth. About Eowyn the light of day fell bright and clear. With a clamour of dismay the hosts of Harad turned and fled, and over the ground a headless thing crawled away, snarling and sniveling, tearing at the cloak. Soon the black cloak too lay formless and still, and a long thin wail rent the air and vanished in the distance." --"The Battle of the Pelennor Fields," The War of the Ring, p. 366

Perhaps the Witch-king mooned Eowyn before making his ungraceful retreat. Either way, the shieldmaiden - and everyone else on the battlefield - got flashed by a streaking Nazgul without ever realizing it…

The next scene of importance in the chronology of the story is the Parley Before the Black Gate. In this version, the Mouth of Sauron does not exist, and the Witch-king acts as Sauron's emissary.

Keep in mind that the Witch-king is called the Wizard King in these early drafts and outlines.

"Aragorn and Eomer wind horns before the Morannon, and summon Sauron to come forth. There is no answer at first, but Sauron had already laid his plans and an embassy was already coming to the Black Gate. The Wizard King? He bears the Mithril coat and says that Sauron has already captured the messenger - a hobbit." --"The Story Foreseen From Forannest," The War of the Ring, 36

The dialog which follows is much the same as in the published version, although the ambassador makes a dramatic exit:

"The ambassador laughs, and gives a dreadful cry. Flinging off his garments he vanishes; but at that cry the host prepared in ambush sally from the mountains on either side, and from the Teeth, and pour out of the Gate. The host of Gondor taken at unawares wavers, and the leaders are surrounded. [Added in pencil: All the Nine Nazgul remounted swoop down; but the Eagles come to give battle." --"The Story Foreseen From Forannest," The War of the Ring, 362

Christopher Tolkien writes the following note about this scene:

"Earlier in this outline my father had questioned whether the ambassador was not in fact the Wizard King himself, and he appears again at the end, dispatched by Sauron to Orodruin (his fate on the fields of the Pelennor was therefore not yet finally decided). Since at the end of the parley the ambassador casts off his garments and vanishes, he was certainly a Ringwraith; is this the meaning of 'All the Nine Nazgul remounted'?" --"The Story Foreseen From Forannest," The War of the Ring, 364

Again, the Witch-king has insulted his enemies by flashing them. That naughty Nazgul!

In the published version of Lord of the Rings, the Witch-king was defeated at Pelennor Fields, and it is heavily implied that he is now a houseless spirit. Therefore, the role of Sauron's ambassador is filled by the Mouth of Sauron, who seems to be a diplomat in the service of the Dark Lord. Some theorize that it was the Mouth of Sauron who came to the dwarves of Erebor, seeking information about the whereabouts of Bilbo Baggins and the One Ring, though this is another subject entirely. (I agree with Michael Martinez in this essay that it was a Nazgul, not the Mouth of Sauron, who served as the ambassador.)

From the text in "The Black Gate Opens," it seems that the Mouth of Sauron has been chosen by the Dark Lord to be the new lord of Isengard, where he would rule over a conquered Gondor and Rohan.

"These are the terms," said the Messenger, and smiled as he eyed them one by one. "The rabble of Gondor and its deluded allies shall withdraw at once beyond the Anduin, first taking oaths never again to assail Sauron the Great in arms, open or secret. All lands east of Anduin shall be Sauron's for ever, solely. West of the Anduin as far as the Misty Mountains and the Gap of Rohan shall be tributary to Mordor, and men there shall bear no weapons, but shall have leave to govern their own affairs. But they shall help to rebuild Isengard which they have wantonly destroyed, and that shall be Sauron's, and there his lieutenant shall dwell: not Saruman, but one more worthy of trust." Looking in the Messenger's eyes they read his thought. He was to be that lieutenant, and gather all that remained of the West under his sway; he would be their tyrant and they his slaves. --"The Black Gate Opens," The Return of the King

Why did Tolkien create an entirely new character to fulfill the Witch-king's original role as Sauron's ambassador, instead of giving the role to one of the other Nazgul? Some have theorized that the Nazgul are just too frightening to be ambassadors, but I think this reasoning is rather faulty, because there is fairly good evidence that Sauron's ambassador to the dwarves was one of the Nine. (See the above linked essay by Michael Martinez.)

It is an important point in the story that Sauron's ambassador is both an emissary and the would-be lord of Isengard. Being second-in-command to the Witch-king, Khamul seems a logical choice to be Sauron's ambassador, but he is the Lieutenant of Dol Guldur. The Witch-king's own lieutenant is Gothmog, who might be a Nazgul (Tolkien never specified if Gothmog was a Nazgul, human, or orc). However, since it is established that Sauron's ambassador will become the new lord of Isengard, Gothmog might not be the best choice, as someone would need to rule Minas Morgul as the Witch-king's regent. We know little about the other Nazgul. Perhaps Sauron had other purposes for them, so he chose the Black Numenorean who would become known as the Mouth of Sauron.

Now this begs the question… In a scenario in which the Witch-king survives Pelennor and the Mouth of Sauron also exists as a character, what role would the Mouth of Sauron play? Would the Mouth of Sauron be named as the new lord of Isengard… or would it be the Witch-king?

I personally believe that the Witch-king should become the overlord of Gondor and Rohan. After all, he has hundreds of years of ruling countries beneath his belt, having been the king of both Angmar and Minas Morgul. We know little about the Mouth of Sauron, but it seems unlikely that he has ever served as a king of a country (For Tolkien's own theories about the identity of the Mouth of Sauron, check out my post: What Could Have Been: The Mouth of Sauron's Backstory.)

In this scenario, the Mouth of Sauron would remain the Lieutenant of Barad-dur and Sauron's primary ambassador in non-Ring related matters.

The Witch-king would become the new lord of Isengard.

Or perhaps he would prefer to rule from Minas Tirith.

Although Faramir is speaking of the corruption that the One Ring would bring to Gondor, the same could be said for a Minas Tirith ruled by the Witch-king.

Hi, I don't know where else to go with this. My ability to find scholarly search results has atrophied. I'm looking for information on Napir, or Napiri, as far as I've seen. Supposedly an Elamite moon god, but I've noticed a great deal of mis-attribution with Elamite deities. The name simply being a god word doesn't help

Never seen the form "Napiri". If you mean Napirisha that's a completely unrelated deity. You will not find much solid on this matter because the Elamite moon deity's name was always written with the Akkadian logogram for the number 30 and the reading Napir relies entirely on the assumptions of Hinz and Koch and... neither of them was exactly rigorous. The only possible phonetic spelling in an actual primary source according to Manfred Krebernik seems to be Nanna or Nannar (p. 364 here) which imo fits pretty well with what we know about the pantheon of Susa and its surroundings, ie. that it was pretty much about as culturally (southern) Mesopotamian as the local pantheon of Mari. Elam obviously does not end there and one cannot rule out there was more than one lunar deity even in a specific area, obviously. I will note that it does seem there WAS an Elamite deity actually named Napir, as such a figure does appear in an inscription of Hanni of Ayapir. The only thing it tells us about this figure is that they were sipakirra, which is a term of still unknown meaning as per Wouther Henkelman, Other Gods Who Are, p. 356; long ago attempt has been made to prove it means "shining" but afaik it did not really catch on. Some sort of clergy of Napir is mentioned in a text from the reign of Tepti-Huban-Inshushinak (same book, p. 362).

The most recent instance of a publication where Napir is explicitly referred to as a moon deity I found isEnrique Qitana's chapter in The Elamite World but it does not really seem to be up to date, seeing how ex. he presents alleged spousal relations between deities as fact while more cautious authors like Wouter Henkelman note that in many cases even the gender of deities like Ruhurater is not actually known, let alone their relations to others. Tl;dr you're not finding much because there simply isn't much.

Blue Moon Introduction [Fanfic]

WARNING: Contains Death and Gore!!

Do you ever get the feeling...that there's always gonna be that one day...you knew things would turn bad...but the last thing you would want in the world, actually happens?

Well....this one day, took a huge turn...for the entire KND organization.

It was a rainy day on this day, Gianna was about to go on another solo mission to grab some snack supplies due to Numbuh 5 being sick that day. She gave everyone a wave goodbye, kissing her girlfriend Skye, hugging her big brother Aiden, her sister Renya, and her sibling, Carol.

After giving her farewells and her team wishing her safe return, Numbuh 72 started her journey.

It took some time, but Gianna was slowly making her way home with a decent bag of supplies for her team. She contacts her friends to request an exfil and waits for them...until Alice showed up in her demonic form. She was not happy and was about to attack Gianna, like she always does.

Gianna drops the bag of food and pulls out her fan blades, getting in position to fight back. That's when the two clash and begin fighting.

Gianna backs up and goes for a charging attack by attempting to kick Alice back...but it failed with Alice snagging Gianna's leg and throwing her down. This made Gianna groan in pain, but get right back up and throw her fan blades at Alice. One of the blades managed to cut her cheek and the other missing and stabbing onto a tree.

Alice grabs the fan blades and throws them back at Gianna, making one hit Gianna on the left hip, and the other, stabbing on her shoulder.

She yells in pain, but doesn't give up. Gianna charges at Alice and tackles her down, now enraged, Gianna starts punching Alice again, and again. After getting annoyed, Alice grabs Gianna by the neck and lifts her in the air, making her choke and struggle.

Gianna does everything she could to break free from Alice's grasp, but failed. Knowing this was it for Gianna, she speaks her last words to Alice;

"You won't...w-win this Alice....E-even if you try to t-take...over the world...I-I...will make sure...m-my friends s-stop you-- Ack!"

Alice cuts her sentence by choking her harder and makes eye contact with Gianna.

"You may say that...but rest assured....I WILL...MAKE THIS WORLD PAY...FOR WHAT HAPPENED YEARS AGO....Starting....with...you..."

Alice then stabs Gianna in the heart, making Gianna frozen for a moment, and soon falling to her defeat.

Gianna's friends soon arrive to the scene to pick up Gianna....only to see their teammate....dead in the hands of Alice.

Alice drops Gianna to the floor and laughs evilly, turning to Aiden, Renya, Carol, and Skye with the biggest grin on her face.

"You're too late~"

Alice's body soon glowed a dark, crimson red and disappears in some black smoke. Renya tries to charge at Alice...but was too late...she was gone.

Everyone else desperately went over to Gianna to see if there was some sort of pulse...but...when Aiden checked....his face became pale and tears formed on his face.

"H-How is she...?" Skye asked Aiden.

Aiden could only look at Skye as his tears fell from his face and to Gianna's body.

"She's....gone. G-Gia's....dead."

Everyone was in complete shock from Aiden's response and one by one...began to cry and grieve for Gianna.

Few days later....Numbuh 362 made a global announcement about Gianna's death and that now Alice was slowly taking over the world with her newly found powers.

A memorial was made in honor of Numbuh 72 at her house, under her only willow tree in the backyard. Kids brought gifts to pay their respects to both the grave, and to her parents.

Everest and Luna soon became the protectors of the grave...making sure that no one would disrespect Gianna in anyway possible. If anyone dared to do such, then both of her pets won't have mercy and attack.

Soon, the days became a month, and day by day, Alice would continue her tyranny. Her new powers contained the ability to create monsters and attack those who weren't protected by angelic items.

Some kids would stay indoors and hide from her wrath....while others go out and fight these new creatures. Then there are some...who still grieve for Gianna's death.

Things were spiraling around the Sectors and Moonbase hospital was slowly starting to get packed with kids that attempted to fight the creatures...but failed and got affected with a curse.

It was the same curse....Gianna had. The Illusions Curse. Whenever kids get a scar from those creatures....it triggers the curse and causes them to go into an unconscious, paralyzed state. Their mental minds get sent into The Illusion World, to make them suffer from their greatest fears/traumas. If no kid can fight them off...then they remain unconscious forever.

All hope seemed lost at first...but one night. The moon was a different color...It was...blue?

Some thought it was just a one time thing and ignored it at first...but the blue moon was coming back again, and again!

The creatures that Alice was creating...weren't coming out as much...

Kids began to theorize about what this could mean. Could it be...Gianna? Could this be her doing in trying to give hope to her loved ones and encourage them to push on?

Whatever this sign is...This somehow gave more hope in some kids and as more went onto the field to fight and defeat the creatures easier.
