Donation to the Shutanic Temple

I have an announcement to make to Bildad, the Shuhite (midwife slash cobbler) high priest of the Shutanic temple aka @bil-daddy

As is well-known throughout history, this is one of the most important religious relics.

In fact, I was there when this relic was consecrated:

And I can assure you there was a lot of turmoil and shenanigans as well as commotion and mischief! With the effect that:

To make a long story short: As it happens, this sandal is still in my possession. But it has seen better days.

And I would like to donate it to the @shutanictemple. If this donation is not acceptable, I would simply like to have it repaired. By the world's best shoemaker (who also lent a hand with my childlessness).

@ineffablegays13 Oh, oh, I would really love to adopt these 3 kids. I've been wanting to have habies for quite some time now.

But as Bildad and Aziraphale have shown to @the-archangel-squad (confirmed by Archangel Gabriel himself), human children come in all ages and sizes because they are made of ox ribs. And of course one can adopt them as well.

However, you have to make sure they are truly orphans and have no other relatives or guardians to take care of them. If that is the case, I would love to adopt them [platonically]. I am always in the vicinity of the @shutanictemple, so the kids (human) could always play with the kids (goats).

What do you personally think Aziraphale and Crowley would think of the film "Monty Python's Life of Brian" (1979) regarding the film's humourous, satirical take on organised religion?

I think they both loved it. Crowley because it felt familiar, Aziraphale because it felt naughty.

Yes, there is something to it. But in reality the situation was like this:

Why can't you accept people the way they are? Or what they want to become? Why is it so hard to be kind to each other? Accept them?

By the way ...

I just rewatched Life of Brian and I was thinking the Monty Pythons actually did quite a lot for LGBTQIA+ people. Yes, it hasn't aged perfectly but they did make contributions to normalising cross-dressing and subverting gender-roles. In a lot of ways they were well ahead of their time.

Take Loretta (played by Eric Idle), the trans woman in the people's front of Judea in the life of brian. Her first appearance shows her coming out to the other members of the resistance, who ridicule her desire to have children but don't actually ridicule her identity, and quickly begin using her preferred name.

Like I said, it's obviously not perfect and they still showed a lot of ignorance, but considering the time period I'm quite impressed.

Oh yes! Sure! I am still busy in polishing my donation to the @shutanictemple... (it will be quite a surprise) really.

(Great news too: I am expecting (great expectations [I mean I have an ox rib in the oven]) and would like to personally thank the best midwife/cobbler in the world @bil-daddy. My good friend @docdust had already introduced me, but I'm so glad I found the time to write a few lines myself after all.)
