I thought I'd share some old faerie concepts, back before I had a solid idea on how I wanted them to look in the AU. I still draw them like this sometimes, ngl, it's really fun. It's just. hard </3

Sketches from May (and a doodle comic from today)

These are some rough sketches for what their bursts looked like in childhood, teen years, and college. Ingo evolved to Chandelure after college so that's why he's not on there. Also woke up this morning with a vision of them having this conversation so I drew a quick thing of it.

Minor design thing but I think my favourite goof with burst is that it's just gonna change any clothes they're wearing, like Emmet will turn all his shirts and pants fluffy and Ingo is perpetually stuck in some kind of formal wear. Also how Emmet's eyebrows just get replaced by the other set of eyes.

Anyways, I'll see to sketching up a lore post sometime soon, in the meantime hope you like the art and have a good day :)

An Appreciation Post

With the end of the LOZ AU Gift Exchange, it's time to share how much of a gremlin we've been- I mean to share the doodles we made for the event hosts and show them some appreciation again💜

Shoutout to our inability to just, participate like normal people and settling for thanking the hosts XD

They all did amazing and the event was great! Absolutely participating again if it does end up repeating next year, but everyone will have to pretend to be surprised when we show up with several gifts too many for people we weren't supposed to make anything for lmao

Going in alphabetical order based on how we have the files named on our computer, thank you so much, and anyone else make sure to go check our their stuff and show them some appreciation too pretty please!

Gotta remember to go kudos them now that we're not being sneaky about it XD Thank you so much for the event 💜 and for using the first one as a pfp, it made us cry happy tears

For @marsnoodlesoup some doodles of characters from their Linksmeet, I love Sunflower's design so much it's incredibly pretty. Thank you so much for the event and so glad you liked our doodle of your girls! 💜

The first one's @twist-dg 's Divinity from her AU divine gemstones and the second one's her little persona (I don't know what she expected us to do when we asked for it but I'm glad she liked it! XD) sitting very innocently because she was very innocent too.

Each Link has a different place in the world of cultural inspiration, so at least one of the fish included for each is endemic to that region. Endemic means it is native to that specific area and not found (naturally) anywhere else in the world!! It’s really cool. There are some fish that are endemic to a singular lake!!!! Big lakes, but still one singular lake!!!! Or one reach of a tributary stream!!! It’s super cool.

This is an outfit swap between different Minish Cap(and a bit of Four Swords) Links from different Links Meet AUs. Under the cut is an explanation of who got whose clothes, and also the flat colors and drafts of this piece. Bonus.

Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Dino Megazord

Story/Background stuff under the cut, design notes + commentary in the tags!

When needed, the Power Rangers can summon colossal machines known as Zords from their Power Coins. The form a Zord takes is dependent on their personal thought of what could be most powerful at the time of bonding to their coin. For Zordon's originally chosen Power Rangers 10,000 years ago, it was mythical creatures significant to each of their alien cultures, similar in appearance to a Dragon, a Unicorn, a Griffin, a Stone Lion and a Phoenix.

In this team's case, upon finding the coins, Billy posits that the coins could potentially date back to the Ice Age, or even the time of Dinosaurs. Zack and Trini latch on to the Ice Age comment and eventually manifest the Sabertooth and Mastodon Zords, while Jason, Billy and Kimberly think of a Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Pterodactyl, respectively.

While the five Zords don't appear as physical contructs until some time into the team's struggle against the Dark Green Ranger, once they do, the Rangers are able to combine them into the great Dino Megazord.

Armed with the powerful Mastodon Cannon and the Triceratops Saber, the Dino Megazord is easily a match for Rita's Dragonzord, eventually gaining the ability to combine with it when Tommy reclaims the Green Power Coin and summons her own purified version.
