Linktober 2024 Day 27: Rest/Respite

Here’s some more fairy Hyrule!! He’s taking a nap because he used a lot of magic and tired himself out 🥺

Guys, I nearly forgot his freckles, that would’ve been the saddest thing ever if I hadn’t remembered at the last moment </3 Anyways, who’s letting him rest on them? I’ll leave that up to interpretation, feel free to put your opinion in the comments (or tags) if you'd like :))

I drew this yesterday but it was too late at night to reasonably post it. Have it now! I'm already angsting so much about this. Imagine Zelda at the moment Tri appears!! Her hero has vanished as well as many of her people, the fate of Ganon is uncertain - and now she's in prison! And given the game's inspirations, it's possibly by her own father's hand thanks to some brainwashing... Poor girl :( At least she won't be going alone.

I thought I'd share some old faerie concepts, back before I had a solid idea on how I wanted them to look in the AU. I still draw them like this sometimes, ngl, it's really fun. It's just. hard </3

Ok but I laughed at Wind so determined to catch that fairy while Wars is being a solid 10, but like.

They just saw Twilight almost die. He's may not be aware the fairy couldn't help Twilight, but he knows they're going into a potentially dangerous dungeon, and Wars and Wild have both shown they have next to no idea what they're doing. Fairies can save you from death if you make a stupid mistake like getting hit by a trap, falling in a pit, getting hit by too many attacks... In fact, a fairy was necessary to save Wind's grandma in his first adventure.

Wind isn't trying to nab that fairy out of competitiveness or "ooh shiny". I think he's preparing for the very real possibility that someone is going to get seriously hurt. @linkeduniverse

i finally tried to animate in flipnote 3ds, it was a lot of fun, i also love that you can make your drawing 3d.

im doing some wind waker fan stuff rn cause i recently 100% the gamecube ver. i love the designs of ww fairies and heart containers (i even have that strange cup that shaped like a ww heart container, i was surprised that stuff like this is available in my middle of nowhere)

i 100% completed wind waker 1-2 days ago (not the nintendo gallery tho, i will try to do it later) so i'm drawing some wind waker stuff rn.before that i 100% ocarina and majora 3d (i won't 100% n64 ver cause i hate non gyro aiming). i will be 100% my favourite zelda games (even botw with all korok seeds) (i also 100% the ww hd ver), next will be twilight princess hd

Linktober 2024 Day 14: Fairy

Of course I had to draw fairy Hyrule for today’s prompt, there was no other option <3

Honestly, this might be one of the cutest pieces I think I’ll end up making for Linktober, he’s just so adorable!! I seriously love how this one turned out!

This one wasn’t super complicated or detailed but this in combination with yesterday’s piece was fairly strenuous and left me a bit sore so I am going to go ice my hand now

Hehe! It’s been a while since I posted anything, so why not now?

I’m actually working on something idly between shifts and sleep, but it’s not ready at all so…..

Here’s my little lil fairy-sona, which I got after taking @frulleboi ‘s quiz!

Their @linked-maze comic is sooo cute! And also inspiring…

My lil fairy is a Gerudo Highlands cave fairy! She tries hard to make friends, but can’t seem to figure out that maybe she should dust herself off, first. The insides of her wings glow orange, and so do her eyes and scars. She hates bright light, blue light especially, so she’s glad that sheikah tech is gone now, but her enemy now is the mirrors. She hangs out in hollowed-out stalactites, and she nests there as well. Her favorite flower is the swift violet! It makes her faster when she munches on it, which enhances her cheetah-like speed (let’s not talk about her cheetah-like stamina, tho). She has only a few friends, but they all live far away (sea, forest, etc.), so she daydreams and digs holes as a pastime. She only goes around hylians for the food, especially the spicy stuff. Otherwise? She is outta there and back to her comfy little home where she sleeps for hours.

I had a lot of fun designing this lil fairy, but not as much fun with the colors (my weakness)

Just took @frulleboi ‘s LoZ fairy quiz and got navigation fairy! I love all their work, especially the fairy designs, highly recommend checking them out @linked-maze !

Designed my lil guy with the idea that she’s from the Golden Leaf Forest but loves to travel. Almost no fear of hylians, although she’s learned to be a bit wary of them after getting caught in a hunters trap (luckily she was let go since nav fairies aren’t really desirable to hunters 🤷 but she still has some scars from the encounter)

She loves helping travelers get around safely and showing them interesting things along the way. It’s always a bonus if they share some food or let her ride in their packs, the smell of the leather seems to stick to her for ages but it’s comforting. A good stamella shroom is always a treat, helps her travel longer and see more interesting things!

Still a WIP but thought I’d show the first draft of her design cuz she’s a cutie XD
