Like yeah, I look like a human, if you don't look too hard. But that's literally only due to the fact that my kind use that as a way to lay low.

People like to assume "if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it's a duck" applies to every situation. Which just isn't true in the slightest, making me feel like I'm talking to a brick wall trying to explain that I'm not human to people outside of (and sometimes others in) the alterhuman community.}}

I’m feeling really dysphoric rn… it’s like nobody can see me as myself and I’m the only one who can see my true form. I want to look like myself. But until there’s a surgery or something that can change how others see me, I am forced to keep my extra eyes closed and my claws dull. *sigh*…

so if anyone has some tips to help with monsterkin dysphoria that would be great.
