i like to think that Monoma ends up enlisting the help of Hatsume Mei to construct a uniform somewhere down the line because he needs one capable of accommodating any conceivable type of quirk and she is one of the only people innovative enough to deliver

they are both two different flavors of crazy but they would work So Well together it's actually wild

monoma's friends visit him in the hospital after the war, and he can't see because his eyes are bandaged up and recovering, but he can tell who's there by reaching out and copying their quirks

(the nurses keep telling him to stop because he's supposed to be resting, but feeling the familiar thrum of his friends' powers settles him in a way that nothing else does)

Denki is what people would call an "abnormal sub" hes a sub through and through but he takes the stereotype of "good sub yes yes" and throws it out the window, hes very open when it comes to follow orders yes but he also pushes in ways that'll aren't harmful, he makes his dom question in ways that'll help improve everything (he doesn't even realize that he does this unless Shinso or Monoma point it out😭🙏)

Monoma: another case of abnormal subs but he takes bratty to whole new level, of course he'll follow orders if he feels up to it but he pushes and prods his dom, he wants someone who can match up with him yet not fully "tame" him, he wants a dom who will play into his theatrics yet will tell him when enough is enough.

Shinso: Shinso is just Shinso/j but seriously Shinso was an odd case to say the least, he never really showed the desire to have subs to the point people thought he never had a role until he met Monoma and Denki, and Shinso felt something in him connect as soon as the sub full of sunshine and the sub full of snark and starlight all but completely barged into his life, they fit perfectly together in ways that'll cause Shinso head to spin both in awe and in irritation.

Yet they all love each other even though people say that denki is too much or too bright for the "dark Shinsou" or the "infuriating" Monoma, Some would say Shinso is too dark or plain for Denki and Monoma, Some would say that Monoma is too infuriating for Denki and Shinso but they all prove them wrong of course.

1. Monoma (11) - it's kind of poetic how he leads the side cast just outside the Top 10 and ranks above 15/20 Class A characters 2. Shinsou (15) 3. Tamaki (16) 4. Mirio (21) 5. Nejire (27)

(these 5 are the only ones in Top 40. Hatsume and Kendo ranked in some regions.)

missing Monoma again, y'all know what that means [Headcanon Time, Babeyyy]

after his brief deep dive into flower language, Monoma secretly assigns a specific flower to each of the important people in his life. he’s thought about giving them bouquets of their assigned flowers for their birthdays, but if they ever looked into what the flowers meant he would simply wither away from mortification.

true to his moniker of Phantom Thief, Monoma has a number of cunning little tricks up his sleeves. he can pick locks (and pockets), and he's nearly perfected his sleight of hand. (funny enough, growing up with cold-to-borderline-intimidating parents just made Monoma sneakier).

any time someone asks Monoma about his favorite quirks to copy, he waxes poetic about how every quirk is wonderful and he could never be forced to choose ("Perish the Thought!")

that said, he secretly does have a couple favorites: Kendo's. Yanagi's. Aizawa's, after the war. sometimes, he enjoys copying a quirk because of the power itself. other times, it's because of how it physically and emotionally feels to copy it.

Monoma has a pretty structured schedule in regards to eating, and he tends to eat a lot more than people expect of him. some quirks take a lot of energy to copy - especially if they involve visible changes to his body or if they themselves require energy input (like Momo's) - so he's learned that it's better to stay on top of that kind of thing.

along a similar vein, Monoma doesn't tend to use any sort of scented cologne or perfume. he's copied a couple of quirks that augment his sense of smell, and being able to sense everyone's cologne/perfume - along with his own - made it feel like he was being physically and psychologically assaulted. 0/10, would not recommend. (Shishida can relate).

Monoma can speak several languages and read a couple more. and yet, when he attempts to build a piece of furniture with instructions In Hand, he still manages to absolutely make a disaster of it. (the one time he tried to construct his own piece of furniture, he ended up having to call Awase in for help. Awase saw what was supposed to be a wooden chair for Monoma's desk and laughed so hard that he nearly passed out.)
