Happy Halloween, folks. I've decided to make this little mashup of two of my favorite classic Sesame Street muppets and the defunct MAD Magazine's famous, wacky duo of spies you'd ever meet. Lord knows how this scenario is going to play out. Will the Count's prank succeed? Will Mumford use his magic to booby trap his magic hat? Or is the hat already booby trapped to begin with? I dunno. The top image as you can see is so I can stay true to the deliberately monochrome era of Spy vs. Spy. As for the colored version below, the colors of each castle, both of which belong to the duo, is based off of the classic story "The Count loses his Thunder." So yeah, for 26 years old, I tend to be a bit old school when it comes to certain details. Long live both Jerry Nelson (who originally puppeteered and voiced the Count and Mumford) and Antonio Prohias (creator of Spy vs. Spy).

I do not claim ownership of any copyrighted materials at all. Count von Count and Mumford belong to Sesame Workshop (formerly known as Children's Television Workshop) and Jim Henson's Muppets (long live Jim Henson, too). whenever i listen to my embarrassingly gigantic playlist filled with just completely random songs that i like and have been thrown in there, it likes to play ‘Taurnado’ from Centaur World every time without missing a beat

and every time i hear it i immediately think about how the Nightmare Realm might just be built on top of Bill’s home dimension with all of the burnt second dimensional corpses

and what if they could manifest themselves (via ‘left-over’ Nightmare Realm madness magic whatever) into a giant ghost or spirit type creature (akin to the Taurnado) - all working together as one giant organism - to just fuck with Bill for killing them. roaming around the waste of a dimension or appearing during storms (if they even have those there) or just randomly to scare the shit outta ppl

A Well of Inspiration

Bendy and the Ink Machine has been nothing short of a well of inspiration for many artists and writers. There are so many AU’s out there that are all unique and more often then not inspire others to follow suit. Image information: The entire picture is a combination of Ink, watercolor marker, and paint. All the black is paint with different amounts of water to lighten or darken look, all the other colors are done by water color marker, and the character line art is done with ink. Took a full day from start to finish.

RWBY

·      the first character i ever fell in love with: Ruby herself. From the “Red” trailer. I just KNEW this girl was going to be a badass, even before I knew how lovably adorable and inspiring she ended up being. 

·      a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: James Ironwood. I actually used to HATE him (at a level we will call “White Hat” for certain reasons), but then, in S3, he became my PTSD-suffering Team Dad who wanted to get all his charges out of this alive and was tearing himself apart over Penny. And things kept going up in S4…until he imposed a FREAKING travel ban on Atlas. A travel. Ban. I realize the in-universe reasons are different and probably justified, but the whole thing sounded WAY too familiar to things that were happening in real life that give me mild anxiety (I think you all can guess what), and I just couldn’t look at him anymore without thinking about that. 

·      a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: And as Ironwood fell from my good graces, so did wanting to ship him with Qrow Branwen. 

·      my ultimate favorite character™: ROMAN TORCHWICK

·      prettiest character: Roman Torchwick. 

·      my most hated character: I have kind of a “love to hate” with Jacques Schnee in that I don’t like him and every single thing he does drives me MAD, but I had kind of wanted a character like him to put in crossover alliances with the likes of Eraqus and Lord Portley-Rind (hence my use of the term “White Hat” to describe character hatred), and that kind of makes me like his existence even if I don’t like anything he actually does. But all the same, I do NOT like anything he actually does. 

·      my OTP: Non/crossover: Monochrome. Crossover: Roman Torchwick x Archibald Snatcher (The Boxtrolls). It’s called RedHatBlackHat pass it on

·      my NOTP: Rosewick. This is not just my RWBY noTP. This is my biggest noTP ever of all time. 

·      favorite episode: Either “Painting the Town” for Roman being Roman and having fun with it or “Heroes and Monsters” for Roman having a kickass battle and hinting at his hidden depths. 

·      saddest death: Penny Polendina. I don’t know why that one messed me up more than Pyrrha, but it did. The juxtaposition of Roman breaking out of jail RIGHT after Penny’s death actually RUINED Roman’s return for me. 

·      favorite season: Season 3. It started out with a cavalcade of new characters with cool designs and badass weapons, wove intrigue among tournament fun, then suddenly dialed up the stakes and had our heroes harness the Power of Friendship in order to stave off pretty much the apocalypse. It was EPIC. And it had Roman at his absolute best.

·      least favorite season: Season 4. Not much happened in it. At all. It could easily have been condensed into three or four shorter episodes. However, it did give us Tyrian Callows, which is a VERY good thing.

·      character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: I’m warming up to her, but when I first met Winter, I thought she was an abusive piece of trash as far as her actions toward Weiss were concerned, and she hasn’t really done anything to make up for that yet. However, I don’t really see much callout toward her for the fact that in her first appearance, she HIT Weiss while rattling off flaws about what was supposed to be a friendly competition. Maybe I’m not running in the right circles.

·      my ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave: ROMAN TORCHWICK

·      my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’fave: Ruby Rose herself. She’s been so good and strong and optimistic through all of this hell. Give her a break, please.

·      my ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleansemy soul, but i still love it’ ship: I don’t think I have one in this fandom.

·      my ‘they’re kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i’m nottoo invested’ ship: Sea Monkeys! Though I’ve learned to live with Black Sun because it is probably going to be the canon one, despite my preference that they end up as Monochrome and Sea Monkeys instead.

Halloween Chaos

What's up folks? It's me, Ari. In honor of tonight's spooky holiday, I want to share a little bit of a crossover with y'all:

(Sorry I didn't use any color; I'm running out of paint. Don't worry, when I get more paint, I'll get this colored and post a colored version and monochrome version in future (possibly for next year along with something else).)

Anybody remember Witch's Night Out? As you can see here, the witch herself is in the background chillin' in somebody's lawnchair as she watches White Spy (as a werewolf), Black Spy (as a vampire), and Phil (as a Frankenstein monster) make absolute fools of themselves because Halloween is a holiday where everybody gets to cut loose for once during the year and be whatever or whoever they want, just as she (the witch) intended. This time, the witch has a wand bag on her to make sure some rat doesn't steal her magic wand again just like that one time.

You may be wondering why I drew Black Spy, White Spy, and Phil the way they are. Well, wolves are part of the canine family (including werewolves, technically) and we all know White is a dog person. Black is apparently insanely comfortable with the supernatural (*cough*For Whom the Belle's Toad*cough*), not to mention that he even incorporated vampirism into at least a couple of his schemes. Yes, I did draw Black in his outfit he wore in the paperback strip "Pearl-1 Hit-2," but this time he has his actual pearl pin, has his hair slicked back, and is donning a black cape. As for Phil, he is stronger than both Black Spy and White Spy despite his tall, skinny, and lanky appearance. Apparently, he wanted to be a Frankenstein monster anyway, and he probably said it right just like Bazooey did.
