I’m about to start working on a Halloween ZoSaNami piece, and I was thinking about what types of monsters they’d be!

So obviously Nami is a weather witch, she can control the weather/manipulate it, although the grand line is odd because even though she can read the weather patterns with ease there’s no way for her to control it. She can redirect lightning and adjust wind currents to help them a bit, but mostly she has to conjure her own weather spells to help them. She has a broomstick but only uses it to escape bad situations. She’s not the best flyer, but she’s been practicing more and more on the Merry and Sunny so she’s gotten far better overtime! (Headcanon that Arlong commanded her to never fly, because it’s the one thing Fishman CANT do. So of course one of his “commanders” can’t fly. He even bound her magic with the tattoo (or a “bracelet”) to seal her magic so she had to rely solely on her skills as a thief, until Luffy came along.

Now that Nami’s a straw hat, she’s finally free of seal on her magic. She’s like a baby witch, but she’s a *prodigy.* she can read the weather as easily as she can breathe. Once Usopp builds her a wand, she’s able to use it as a medium to harness and cast her magic. At first she can only create small clouds and warm/cold breezes and small zaps of energy, but by the time she reaches Sabody, she can create actual clouds of rain and thunder and control their actions.

Ending up on the sky island was the best thing to happen to her. Surrounded by old weather wizards, she studied constantly, and now she can conjure just about any weather pattern, of any strength. Now that she’s back with the others, she has far too much fun making combo moves with the others, and showing off her skills with a broom. She was a natural as soon as the seal broke, but the old wizards worked hard to make her a broom as beautiful and powerful as she is, and it’s one of her dearest treasures.

I’ve seen so much art of Sanji as a werewolf/a dog, and I just think it suits him so well. Maybe he can’t control his forms like his family does which is why he was looked down upon by them. He can’t control his ears or his tail and they come out when he feels something too strongly. He has absolutely no control of his werewolf form and he’s so ashamed of it. Either that, or he doesn’t *have* a werewolf form. He has the traits of one, able to make his nails turn into sharp long claws, and he can have sharp canines, but other than that it’s just his fluffy ears and tail. He’s seen as a disgrace by his family because he can’t control his forms like they can, and he was chased out of the pack.

Sanji’s tail is usually out all the time whenever he’s around his crew. He’s just so happy and feels like he’s finally found his pack, which is why he’s so *protective* of it. He’s got a cool head except for when someone attacks or threatens those he feels most protective over, being Robin, Nami, Chopper, and Usopp. The others he *knows* can take care of themselves, and he knows that these four can too, but he just feels so protective of them.

He hated being a waiter on the Baratie because he felt ashamed whenever he got frustrated with guests and his ears and tail would pop out. He mainly stayed a sous chef becayse he was calm and happy working on food. His ears and tails never popped out, he was in his element. Neo that he’s a straw hat, he isn’t ashamed of his tail and ears being out. In fact, he lets them stay out, and his tail is almost always wagging (especially when he’s arguing and fighting with his beloved Marimo)

I think Zoro was a human, until his fight with Dracule Mihawk. As the name suggests, Mihawk is a vampire, an old one at that. When Zoro lost their fight, Mihawk didn’t just slice him open, he drained him of most of his blood, deciding that whether or not he survived would decide if he had the makings of a true swordsman and fighter. I don’t think he’d become a full Vampire right then and there, but maybe he notices that he isn’t hungry or thirsty anymore. He doesn’t sleep as much, barely needing to anymore. His canines are sharper, but not full Vampire canines. He’s stronger, but can’t control it quite yet, it’s like he can’t unlock his full potential.

Then he ends up on Mihawk’s island, and Mihawk (with Zoro’s permission, which I think took a WHILE for him to give) finally turned Zoro. Now Zoro had the strength and speed of a vampire. His teeth are sharp, and he has a thirst for blood, but I feel like he worked hard to get it under control, afraid he’d hurt his crewmates. In my AU, Vampires *can* go in the sun, and he doesn’t sleep in a coffin, though Nami always teases him about it. Nami and Sanji obviously offer for him to drink their blood once he tells them of his transformation, though it wasn’t like it wasn’t easy to guess. He’s incredible fast and strong, and his eyes went from being a warm dark brown to pitch black.

Halloween Chaos

What's up folks? It's me, Ari. In honor of tonight's spooky holiday, I want to share a little bit of a crossover with y'all:

(Sorry I didn't use any color; I'm running out of paint. Don't worry, when I get more paint, I'll get this colored and post a colored version and monochrome version in future (possibly for next year along with something else).)

Anybody remember Witch's Night Out? As you can see here, the witch herself is in the background chillin' in somebody's lawnchair as she watches White Spy (as a werewolf), Black Spy (as a vampire), and Phil (as a Frankenstein monster) make absolute fools of themselves because Halloween is a holiday where everybody gets to cut loose for once during the year and be whatever or whoever they want, just as she (the witch) intended. This time, the witch has a wand bag on her to make sure some rat doesn't steal her magic wand again just like that one time.

You may be wondering why I drew Black Spy, White Spy, and Phil the way they are. Well, wolves are part of the canine family (including werewolves, technically) and we all know White is a dog person. Black is apparently insanely comfortable with the supernatural (*cough*For Whom the Belle's Toad*cough*), not to mention that he even incorporated vampirism into at least a couple of his schemes. Yes, I did draw Black in his outfit he wore in the paperback strip "Pearl-1 Hit-2," but this time he has his actual pearl pin, has his hair slicked back, and is donning a black cape. As for Phil, he is stronger than both Black Spy and White Spy despite his tall, skinny, and lanky appearance. Apparently, he wanted to be a Frankenstein monster anyway, and he probably said it right just like Bazooey did.

Sam: What kind of ghost doesn't mark their territory?

Danny: That's what I said. I tried to talk to him about it, but he wouldn't hear me out, even though it was an emergency.

Tucker: What emergency?

Danny: There was a mugging going on. The guy with the gun was getting violent and I think he was about to kill a kid so I stepped in. Now Vengeance won't leave me alone

Sam: Vengeance?

Danny pointing at the figure on the roof across the street: He literally said "I am Vengeance". Whenever he does a lighting strike hits the sky so I'm going to respect it.

Sam opening the window: Hey Vengeance! Get out of here! Yeah, I'm talking to you! You wannabe Goth! Go on, get!

Danny: Sam don't interact with him! Now he's going to follow me around more!

Tucker: He might even go from staring at you from the shadows to like talking to you.

Danny: *sigh* I knew this move was a dumb idea.

Tucker: Hey, how else would we get Wayne Enterprise to fund our computer systems? We're this close to creating the best thing to ever happen to Tech Geeks!

@demonic0angel I'm gonna borrow a bit of your 'First Burn' Prompt If ya don't mind <33 just a teeny bit(cuz song hehe) and make it more ANGSTY!!

Danny and Bruce are divorced, Only Dick knew they were together, Danny and Bruce's love started in college, oh how their love and passion were true and gentle, everyone around them wished them happy memories.

But as Bruce took the Mantle of Batman, He never told Danny, neither did Alfred have the heart to tell Danny that he was always getting into dangerous situations as he roamed around Gotham as a Vigilante, Sneaking out at night from their bed.

Bruce and Danny both adopted Dick, Little Richard 'Dick' Grayson, Danny's little boy, his precious little star. Bruce saw how much Danny cared for Dick, Bruce thought Dick could be a distraction for Danny so Danny doesn't notice his secret Vigilante nightlife.

Danny knew. He knew everything alright. Danny tries to not cry every night as he feels Bruce sneak away in the middle of the night, every whispers of love that Bruce utters to Danny felt like lies, Danny knew he had secrets too, His Past Vigilante life as a teenager is something he never told Bruce.

But this is something Danny is slowly breaking himself into denial, His husband is a vigilante, that's fine, he was fine with that, but the way he interacted with other women made Danny's heart break, even other heroes... Too close, Too Intimate, Too Comfortable.

Danny stopped following Bruce everytime he left by that time, he felt so hurt and so insecure of himself everytime he saw 'Batman' Interact with those others so.. closely.

It made Danny's core scream in doubt and his emotions derailing into confronting Bruce.

He thought Confronting Bruce about his nightly sneaking would get Bruce to finally trust Danny with the information about Him being Batman but no, it made Danny doubt so much more, Days of constant fight and reuniting, His Little Boy, Dick , and Alfred was the last thing keeping Danny in mental order, Organized and Composed as he always should be. Even if Bruce is Acting like a Playboy Brucie Wayne.

He tried to do what Jazz would have done but nothing FUCKING worked and Danny was always on edge, he felt that everything his husband said was a lie, he loved Bruce but why won't Bruce trust him? Please... please, just tell him the truth, I won't be mad. Please. Just tell me. Tell me everything. TELL ME! PLEASE! IM BEGGING YOU! JUST TELL M—

Danny loves Bruce, But as day passes, that love slowly felt one sided.

Dick didn't mean it, it was supposed to be a harmless little prank, he didn't know how rocky Bruce and Danny's Marriage was, he didn't know. He really didn't.

He didn't know a picture of Batman with Selina would seal it off. He didn't know a single lipstick would finish it all. He was only a child. It was his fault. He felt that it was his fault— why wouldn't he? He didn't know.. he really didn't.

Danny and Bruce screamed, it was nothing that Dick could have ever heard before, he didn't know at all. He really didn't.... It was only supposed to be a prank.. He didn't mean it...

...

Bruce soon took in Jason, Dick noticed how much Jason looked like Danny, Dick wanted to yell, he wanted to scream at Bruce, He wanted to confront him about passing the mantle to Jason— but... It's no use fighting against someone that's like Bruce. Not like Batman.

Dick secretly kept contact with Danny and his Family, Dani And Jazz was still his aunt as they lived in Bludhaven, he could always go to them as Nightwing and they'd know to help him without questioning. Dick felt bad everytime he did. He felt as though he was burdening the family of the person who's marriage he ruined, his own Father.

The only Father who could actually handle and was a real father.

Everything passed by so quickly.

Jason Died.

Tim Was adopted and he became Robin.

Jason came back to life.

Dick immediately took Jason to Danny.

Damian Came into their lives. Dick felt his blood Boil when Damian did but he couldn't blame Damian, Dick accepted Damian with a whole heart, acting like the Danny which the Manor Lost because of Bruce.

He will be the person who loved everyone, just like Danny, even if sometimes it's tiring— he just needs to keep being the Father of these children that Bruce struggles to be, It's the only Way Dick could honor Danny.

Bruce misses Danny Dearly, he regrets many things.

But the one he regrets the most is...

Losing Danny.

Danny and Bruce are Divorced Because Bruce Fucked up with being Batman and didn't tell the truth, Dick wanted to do a little prank cuz a kid will do pranks and snuck a lipstick on Bruce's coat and a picture of Selina with a kiss mark on it. Danny and Bruce's marriage are rocky as fuck, Dick secretly takes the other Wayne kids to Danny and they come to love Danny as their father much like Dick is attached to Danny, Jazz and Dani are the Wayne's Therapists. Specifically Jazz, she's the Best, Uncle Dan is Jason's Favorite mechanic.

Bruce Misses Danny dearly and wants him back and will try and probably try to court Danny again, nonstop as Batman, Danny still loves Bruce and hadn't moved on, His core is very much attached and embedded in the memory and love of Bruce Wayne, thus he is just waiting for Bruce to finally step up.

So Dani got deaged to 3 and Danny 32 moved both of them to Central City, becoming a chemistry teacher. Dani grows as normal.

Eventually though, it becomes clear that Central doesn’t have enough ambient ecto to sustain Dani, so they move to Gotham.

Danny gets a job at Giatha Acdany, and sends Dani there. Danny also runs the astronomy club, which Damian Wayne joins.

He and Dani share classes, and it becomes clear that they hate each others guts. Everything becomes a competition with them, and they both have an equal chance of winning. The entire school is placing bets on them.

Eventually, parent-teacher conferences roll around, and Danny gets to meet the father of Damian.

Him and Bruce instantly click.

Damian is not pleased. Nor is Dani.

Damian and Dani form a temporary alliance to prevent their fathers from dating.

Eventually, Damian and Dani learn to tolerate each other. And their plan still hasn’t worked.

It’s the last day of the school year, and Danny’s and Dani are going abroad they actually going to the GZ for the holidays. They are saying their goodbyes when the GIW attacks the school, snatching Dani and Danny from under their noses.

No one is pleased.

Danny is a few hundred years old and owns a small hole in the wall bar in Gotham. The place felt more like a tavern in a fantasy world. It also looks like one. Danny is retired, and let's other heroes handle things. He stays in the human world to make sure the dimension stays stable since the DC universe has merged with his own. He's witnessed quite a bit over the years from the shadows.

One night, he's quietly wiping down a glass as the fire in the fireplace burns low behind its grate, and candles burn low in their brackets, casting flickering shadows in the empty bar. Danny sets the glass on the shelf below the bar and straightens up when Batman gets thrown through his front window, shattering it and knocking over candles, which catch a few things on fire.

Danny quickly grabs the fire extinguisher he keeps behind the bar and starts putting out the fires. He is not letting his business go up in flames. The halfa looks up to see ManBat, forcing his way through the broken window.

The meta bat screeches only to be met with a fire extinguisher to the face. "One of my rules here is no causing a ruckus now get!" Danny yelled using the extinguisher as an impromptu weapon as ManBat lunged at him. The meta eventually flies off, and Danny goes to check on Batman, who is slowly coming around. "Easy there, Bats, you might have a concussion and a few broken bones." Danny said, helping the vigilante sit up. Batman wasn't exactly sure what he was seeing. In his dazed mind, he swore he traveled to a fantasy world and was speaking to a half elf.

Danny has pointed ears from his ghost half and an androgynous build with lean muscle and a short ponytail holding back his black hair with a white shock in it.

Bruce: ... am I... dead?

Danny: You're fine, sir. I'm here to help you, I promise.

Bruce: ... right. So I'm dead and this is heaven bc you must be an angel

Danny: N-No???

Bat dad meet Ghost dad

Several years earlier....

"JAAAAAAZZZZZZZZ!" Danny flew excited through the Ghost Zone with a little kid in his arms rushing past some of his former rogues as he made a B-Line for his sister that happened to be in the Zone too, currently in a deep conversation with Frostbite about something Danny hadn't cared to pay attention to long enough. But right now he had exciting news he really wanted to share with his sister. Even now as adults Danny tented to live out his childishness whenever he could especially when he and his family went into the Ghost Zone.

The Halfa came to a screeching halt as he grined brightly at his sister who looked back at him with a raised eyebrow, slightly amused at her younger brothers giddiness. "What is it Danny?"

"I got a son now!" Danny declared happily holding up a young ghost teen by the armpits into his sisters face.

The 'son' in Danny's hands stared at Jazz blinking owlishly as if the teen boy still needed a moment to catch up with what was going on and Jazz blinked back at the ghost and then at Danny. That was not a child but a teen ghost. Going by the size the kid was probably around 14 or 15 and he looked very much traumatised and Jazz could not tell if that was because of Danny or because of how the teen possible died.

"Danny what did you-" Her brother did not let her finish her question as he started rambling excitedly.

"He is a baby ghost Jazz! Look how young he is! I found him floating around aimlessly, his hunt hasn't even fully formed yet and when i picked him up there was that instant connection! You know the same-"

"Danny."

"I have with Clockwork and Pandora! I instantly knew he was mine! Mine to protect! Mine to guide! When I saw him I swear I just knew, I ghost adopted him the moment I made contact! He is family Jazz-"

"Danny."

"I just know he belongs with us! Look at him and tell me he doesn't have Fenton charms! I am sure Dan and Dani will love him too! He is such a cute little ghost! There is so much I can teach him! I will be the best dad ever to this wonderful little baby ghost! And-"

"Daniel William James Fenton!"

Danny bite his tongue instantly silenced when Jazz pulled out the full name call. Both him and the teen in his arms stared at her a bit shell shocked and in that moment Jazz couldn't help but hide a small amused smile at how similar Danny and the teen in his arms looked when they stared at her.

"Did you explain any of this to him?" She indicated to the teen, who's name she by the way still didn't know. Danny at least had the curtesy to look a little ashamed as Jazz pointed that out and let go of the teen so they could float on their own. She sighed with a fond smile before looking at the teen that looked a bit unsure between her and Danny now.

"What's your name?" She asked them with a friendly and encouraging smile.

"Jason...."

Current time...

Jason was in a little bit of a predicament. Originally he really thought he never would end up in this kind of situation espacially since he didn't think he would patch up things with Bruce any time soon. But we'll here he was...

Life liked proofing him wrong.

Like with he fact that Jason could use a ghost wail in dire situation. And that something like that would naturally call his ghost dad onto the scene since he collapsed after it.

And like with how he woke up in the bat caves med bay with both Danny and Bruce standing over him and glaring at each other. Or at least he thought they were glaring at each other that looked like a pretty annoyed stare in his eyes from Danny and Bruce's jaw was really tense from what was visible and not covered by his cowl.

So all Jason could do was endure at the moment. Aaaaand refuse to make eye contact with any of his present siblings. Mainly Dick because he wasn't sure how to interpret the others' smiles. For a moment Jason wondered if he could hide out in his ghost-dad's castle in the Ghost Zone for a while until whatever storm was brewing with Bruce was over.

There was also a moment in which Jason wondered if there could have been anything done to avoid this... confrontation(?). Before feeling the need to face palm because his Aunt that sort of has been giving him free therapy told him repeatedly that communication was key. He never regretted not listening to her more than he was right now.

To be fair. Communication with Bruce espacially hadn't been his strong suit for a while now before and after his death.

"So you are his Bat-Dad?" Jason did not like the way Danny, his ghost dad was using the word 'dad' right now. Oh good was he trying to challenge Bruce?

"And you are his Ghost-Dad?" Bruce grunted, oh now Jason was sure Bruce was giving Danny a glare, and Danny was getting that protective look in his eyes Jason was all to familiar with from his time as a dead baby ghost.

He groaned loudly sinking lower onto the medbed. Why did these things always have to happen to him? At least he was lucky that his Ghost Aunt and Uncle didn't show up too.

The JL thinks the Batfamily are either cyptids or supernatural creatures. One day after the ghost hero Phantom joins them, they decide to ask the dude what he thought.

Que Danny making a detailed description of what the Bats are and how they work. The JL then sees the ghost dude, talk to Batman without a care in the world.

Unknown to any of them, Danny and Bruce attended the same med school until Bruce dropped out. So he decides to prank them, with Bruce going along with his friend's antics.

Bruce is (secretly) married [Bruce/Danny; Spirit Halloween]

I got sucked into the DPxDC crossover rabbit hole. I have read too many fanfics despite not knowing the source material.

I randomly got the idea of Bruce being secretly married and the Batfam finding out about it after Duke poses the question of why Bruce wears a ring. (Also how Danny's influence would have subtly changed things.)

Bruce had always worn the ring, long before Dick came around – at least that’s what the boy had told Jason when he asked about it. 

They had looked through the records one night – bonding over finding out when he started, but he had already worn the ring once the man returned from his seven year long  journey of training. The media had speculated it to be a family heirloom – either his father’s or mother’s wedding ring. Bruce neither confirmed or denied when they asked about it.  

The man never took it off, not even when he stalked the night as Batman and neither of them had been brave enough to ask about it, after they watched clips where the media asked and his Brucie mask slipped into something uncomfortably blank. 

Jason had quickly forgotten about it after Bruce had benched him from being Robin after Felipe Garzonasa’s death. He had been furious, questioning if Bruce didn’t believe him that he didn’t push the man.

“Of course I believe you, chum,” the man had said, but Jason didn’t trust the man’s words. “But you just saw a man die. That’s not something we should brush over.”

He had sent Jason to bed for the night, but the boy had sneaked out, believing Bruce to go back to patrol after dropping him off. He instead found him in his office, talking to someone on the phone.

“...You have better experience with stuff like this than me…” the man said. “Do you think I should have never given Jason Robin? I know Dick agreed, but…” Bruce trailed off and then paused to hear the other person’s response. “I know.” He let out a deep sigh. “I’ll talk to him tomorrow about it. Are you still planning on visiting for the anniversary? I would appreciate if you tried talking to-”

Jason didn’t wait to listen for more. He knew it. Bruce was going to take Robin away from him. 

He remembered the picture he had found of his birth mother. He initially had wanted to tell Bruce to get his help to find her, but now he isn’t sure if it’s such a good idea. If the man was gonna take Robin away from him anyway, he didn’t want to be there for the moment. 

With that goal in mind, unbeknownst to Bruce, he disappeared that night, setting out to the Middle East to find his mother. 

Bruce finds his corpse several weeks later. Dick breaks down in space when he receives the call from Bruce. They attend the funeral together, neither of them talking about it, even years later.

Jason returns several years later, dead set on revenge on Joker and on Bruce for never avenging him. What he doesn’t expect is to stumble over a newspaper celebrating the anniversary of the Jason Scholarship Foundation along with pictures of his funeral, showcasing both Bruce and Dick crying. 

He never stumbles upon a memorial with his battered Robin suit and the description “Jason Todd, a Good Soldier” and beats Tim Drake, the third Robin half dead for replacing him. Instead he returns to the Manor, overwhelmed at Bruce’s breakdown and reaction. Red Hood debuts several months later – with the Bat symbol on his chest. They still have their conflicts, but Jason never has to fill a duffel bag full of heads for his debut. 

It’s only once Damian arrives, Cass becomes Bruce’s daughter and Duke his ward that the topic of the ring gets brought up again. It’s Duke who asks what they all have been thinking. 

“By the way, why does Bruce wear a ring?”

Finding no information online and not managing to get anything out of Alfred, they break into Bruce’s office while he’s on patrol getting distracted by Damian and Cass. It’s Tim who finds it, in a locked drawer, sealed carefully.

A marriage certificate. 

“Who the hell is Daniel Fenton?” Jason questions gruffly.

“My husband.”

Jason startles, turning to the doorway. Bruce is standing there, his arm crossed and he cringes at the displeased raise of Bruce’s right eyebrow. Behind him Cass shrugs at Tim’s questioning gaze while Damian clicks his tongue.

“Why haven’t we met him? And, wait, does Dick know about this?” Tim asks. 

Bruce lets out a deep sigh as he fiddles with the ring - the wedding ring. 

“Let’s go somewhere else for this.”

They all shuffle to one of their smaller living rooms. Duke sets up a voice call so Dick, who is back in Blüdhaven, doesn't have to miss out. Tim is on his own computer, no doubt researching everything he can find on Daniel Fenton. Or would he be Daniel Wayne? 

It’s Damian who breaks the silence.

“Father. Explain.”

The man presses his lips together as he stares down into his tea. Alfred squeezes his shoulder behind him. 

“The reason you haven’t met Danny is because he’s dead.” Bruce pauses while his kids pale. “Technically.”

Before either of them can question that, suddenly a young white haired boy appears, sitting on Bruce arm’s chair, eyebrow raised and wearing a black and white hazmat suit.

“Shouldn’t I be here for this?”

In an instant all of them sans Bruce and Alfred are on alert, Tim has a Batarang in hand, Jason one of his guns and Damian a knife poised to the unknown boy’s neck.

It’s Bruce who diffuses the situation.

“Danny?” Bruce sounds disbelieving and Damian twitches, knife still in hand. 

“In the flesh.” The boy does jazz hands, neck grazing the knife, but it doesn’t draw any blood. “Or ectoplasm. Whatever.”

“How wonderful of you to surprise us with your presence Master Danny,” Alfred says, tone slightly sarcastic and Damian finally steps back, eyebrows knitted together. 

Danny winces. 

“I would have warned you, but Clockwork just dropped me off, telling me that it’s finally time.”

“This is your husband?” Duke bursts out. 

The boy bows playfully.

“Danny Fenton-Wayne. King of the Infinite Realms. Half ghost and-” Suddenly he transforms, white rings traveling over his body and leaving behind a middle-aged black haired man. “-Half human.”

“GHOST?”

“HALF HUMAN?”

“KING OF THE INFINITE REALMS?”

“Thank fuck I thought Bruce was a pedophile for a moment.”

Everyone turns to stare at Duke.

“What? I just said what everyone thought,” the boy defends himself.

“Actually that would be ephebophilia,” Danny corrects. “Although he would still classify as a necrophile.” 

Bruce punches the man’s forearm, rolling his eyes with a fond look and Danny yelps, rubbing the spot.

“Hey! If anyone is allowed to joke about it, it’s me!” the man complains with a pout and Bruce shakes his head. 

“Another reason why you never met Danny is because – believe it or not – he’s the King of the Infinite Realms, which means he is quite busy.”

“So much paperwork,” Danny groans. “If I get Constantine’s ass, I swear to the Ancients that he’s gonna die. Half a decade lost because I had to bargain for his soul pieces!”

“After I returned to Gotham to become Batman, the Infinite Realms unfortunately fell into war following a coup attempt, leaving Danny to deal with the mess.”

“And Clockwork prohibited me from visiting the Gotham until a certain point, claiming that I would change the timeline too much with my influence,” Danny finishes for Bruce, all of Bruce’s kids watching with fascination how seamlessly they seem to fit together as the man leans his head against Bruce’s shoulder while Bruce runs a hand through the man’s black hair. “Considering I would have never let Bruce run around with child vigilantes, he’s probably right.”

“I forgot you know about that,” Bruce sighs.

“Jazz kept me updated,” Danny says smugly.

“That’s a break of patient confidentiality,” Bruce grumbles. 

“She may be your therapist, but she’s also my sister.”

“Mr. I-Rather-Chew-Nails-than-Talk-About-My-Feelings?“ Jason exclaims. “No way!”

“I have been vocal about the fact that I go to therapy.” Bruce frowns.

“I thought you were joking!”

“Where do you guys think I go every Sunday evening?” Bruce pinches the bridge of his nose.

“Justice League meeting?” 

“Golfing?”

Once again everyone stares at Duke and he flushes at the attention.

“I thought it’s a rich person thing!” 

Danny snorts.

“He got you there, darling.”

“When and how did you guys meet?” It’s the first time Dick actually speaks up, having observed everything – or as much as he could – through the web camera. 

“At a gala when both Bruce and I were teens,” Danny answers. “My godfather dragged me into it. At least one thing I can thank him for.”

Danny smiles while Bruce grunts in agreement. 

“The wedding?” Tim follows up.

Both Danny and Bruche pause to think.

“Did we do the civil registration in Paris or Las Vegas?” Danny turns to Bruce. “I can’t remember.”

“We were quite drunk,” Bruce agrees.

Danny snips his fingers like he remembers something, but then he shakes his head. He puts a hand to his chin, tiling his head. 

“Or was it Brazil?”

The rest blink at the pair before Danny shrugs with an apologetic smile.

“We had the real wedding in the Infinite Realms though,” Danny explains, “Once Bruce got finished with his training. The citizens wouldn’t have accepted it otherwise. Alfred would have taken pictures, but technology doesn’t work in the Infinite Realms.”

“Such a shame, it was quite a nice wedding,” Alfred affirms. 

“Alfred knew?!” is the consensus complaint. 

“Does Mother and Grandfather know about this?” Damian asks stiffly.

“Considering Ra’s used Bruce’s and your mother’s DNA to artificially create a baby despite knowing – he doesn’t care,” Danny says just a tad-bit too cheerfully. 

The revelation leaves everyone reeling. 

“Okay, now that all questions are answered-” Danny doesn’t give them time to inject. “Can we talk about the stinking elephant in the room?”

Bruce raises an eyebrow as Danny gestures to Jason. Jason almost would feel insulted if Danny didn’t sound so genuinely surprised that nobody else said or noticed something. 

“What the hell is that supposed to mean?!” Jason complains as he discreetly tries to sniff his armpits. Considering Tim’s and Dick’s snickering, he doesn’t succeed. 

“Your Ectoplasm reeks like-” Danny grimaces as he flails his arms. “Like you took a bath in spoiled eggs.”

Danny turns to Bruce with an angry look in his eyes.

“Especially you should have noticed, considering you are liminal! His core is completely malnourished.” Bruce winces. “Did you forget that I gave you a way to contact Frostbite?”

“Without the ambient ectoplasm you radiate my ability to see ectoplasmic entities and speak and read Ghost Speak slowly degraded over the years,” Bruce explains. “I wasn’t aware Jason had been a type of ectoplasmic entity.” 

“His eyes literally glow green when he’s angry!” Danny chides. “He returned from the dead for revenge. He’s clearly a Revenant. That’s Ghost 101!”

It’s amusing to see Bruce get scolded by someone else other than Alfred. Alone for that fact Jason has to admit that he begrudgingly likes Danny. 

“Alright-” Danny stands up and tugs on Jason’s arm. Bruce moves to follow him like second nature. “You are coming with me right this instant.”

Before anyone can stop them, Danny transforms back into his Ghost Form, Jason’s hand in one and Bruce in the other and steps through a glowing green portal, it vanishing shortly after. Silence follows.

“So well that just happened.”

This time everyone agrees with Duke.

In the caves of Gotham

Bad Fenton reveal happens leading to Danny fleeing into the ghost Zone. he stays there for at least a year until the human part of him starts struggling from being in a place for only the Dead.

Clockwork places him in a status in the caves under Gotham. he awakens occasionally from the status for a very short amount of time.

One of the times he is awakened is by Bruce when he is Scouting For the Batcave. Danny is 16 and Bruce is 17

Danny vaguely tells him that he is put into the status for healing as the Lazarus Pit under Gotham. Bruce tells Danny he will come see him a few more times before he leaves on his trip and that he can come up to the manor anytime that he is awake. Danny is getting naturally healed and by the time that Bruce comes back Danny is able to be awake for long periods of time from the healing status.
