this is probably a huge ask and we doubt it'll get much traction and that's fine. this is for lyra so worth taking a risk, putting ourselves out there, and straight up asking for money and financial help because there's not much i will not do for lyra's well being. so here it is. we need to restock some of lyra's meds and supplements. (we were able to get help with her prescription food and are so incredibly grateful.) we don't expect to get the full help with all of this. but getting help with it would help us free up funds to hopefully get her the vet care she needs which is my real goal. i added up refills of ALL of her regular supplements and medicines (not counting her ouchy medicine which we need vet stuff done for them to refill). it's 463$ after tax. that's not an autoship discount so would probably be slightly less with the chewy autoship discount. yes aware this is an insane amount of money to ask for help with, especially after already asking elsewhere for help with the prescription food (130$ for a bag that lasts us 6 weeks) but yea. i dont want to have to rehome lyra. i'm trying to sort out job stuff but it's gonna take a few weeks to figure things out and get paychecks again. my credit card is maxed out. my savings are gone. we have paypal and zelle or you could even send us chewy gift cards. we would be happy to share our info on request. we would not ask for help with this lightly knowing how many people are struggling right now. but lyra is the most important thing in my life, and she deserves to have her needs met. i am not exaggerating when i say that having to rehome her would likely kill me. if theres any way anyone can help with any amount of this we would be so beyond grateful, and it would quite literally buy us some time to figure some stuff out. and not need to rehome her. any help we do get we will use to prioritize her most important meds and supplements. bad at words. but yea. lyra does not deserve to be not properly cared for. she deserves the best and she is the best and i love her so much. and i did not expect ten years into being with her to be in the position to be struggling so much financially, or to have our financial support that we have always relied on for her needs to just up and stop helping us. here she is

There is a rather popular theory that Alan was bullied during his 2009 tormentor phase, but that is a rather cop out way to make the "Alan was never evil" narrative works by shifting the blame to someone else.

This version of Alan is never bullied, but he was under a lot of small, relatable stress that really piled up, and his family wasn't doing so well financially. His status as a human means he doesn't have a dramatically traumatized backstory.

The early Internet, the unknown frontier. Violences was all the rage; stickpage, new ground, mini clips, Happy Tree Friends, and animations of stick figures fighting to bloody death with flaming chainsaw. I was in a computer camp when they put The very first AvA on the projector during lunch.

I don't think our generation were traumatized, but rather desensitized. It's not horrific, it is funny, it is cool.

My take is that, he was not quite comprehend what kind of damage he inflicted on something he viewed as "fake", not really alive. They might felt pain, but that was a pain not worth caring for. The empathy thing I mentioned.

One thing I find weird about AvA 4 was that TSC is clearly sentient and can "talk" through window dialogue boxes and Facebook comments. Why did Alan only stop when he talked through his own text?

This version of Alan is aware that they are all sentient. He knew victim and TCO hate his gut. He did not care TSC was sentient, he was willing to kill him to not lose another computer. Only that he realized TSC is "useful" for art that he decided to give the orange guy a chance.

The cure of ignorance is to actually spend time with someone or something you have judged to be lesser. By actually interacting with the gang, he mellows out and cares for them. Him being a mature adult helps too, but he was watching 4 stick figures fighting just before AvA4.

This is inspired by a game called small saga. It is an anti-fascist, anti-establishment rat RPG-lite. I didn't finish it yet, no spoiler please.

I will try to be vague.

When a mouse plans to kill a lot of humans, the main characters only try to stop it because of how many rats, mice and rodents living in the sewage would be caught in collateral. They would have let the massacre happen if not for the lives of lowly vermin like them, and it makes perfect sense. To rats, humans are terrifying, cruel gods that slaughter them without hesitation. They are disgusted by the antagonist's plan because it isn't worth sacrificing thousands of rodents lives for this noble cause of killing evil humans.

So, what if TCO developed this similar mindset. They value the life of a random, badly drawn stick figure more than yours and mine. And isn't that a terrifying character trait, even if it makes a perfect sense from their point of view?

I am taking their "hurt people hurt people" and cyberterrorist phase to the next level.

Also, I am committed to portraying The Dark Lord as the best/worst therapy dog, who whole hearty trying her best. They love each other, but they also make each other worse... If I made it, it is not a ship. You can tag anything you like, just telling you.

Using 2 memes and then shifting the tones in the last penal is also an experiment. Memes in question.

It is all fun and games for Bubbles and Buttercup, but Blossom's perfectionism is shredding on that guitar as hard as I shredded on my Wacom.

I literally just learned what Blossom was singing a few days ago. When I was little, I asked me elder siblings, I asked my parents, I even sent a letter to UBC (Now TrueVision), the company responsible for broadcasting Cartoon Network in Thailand, they played the song on-air a few times before the host said she has no idea.

It's normal for old Thai cartoon to leave the song in its original language. I might be biased because of my familiarity, but I prefer it that way.

At first, it was meant to be a set of 3 puzzle-pieces keychain design, 3-part heart join together. However, I realized that Bubbles's drum kit is huge. So, I moved her to the top of the heart, and space her sisters far away, but that just looks wrong. I think it can be done for everything except the band.

It is also inspired by the 2016 intro sequence texture, yes, I don't hate it. The original concept leans on more heavily on gray scales to make the girls' colour pops out, but that just seems wrong, considering what this episode was about.

I got distracted today, otherwise I could have finished it.

Everything in PPG art style is not hard, but maintaining consistency can be tricky. I did spend a decent time trying to make sure the girls' heads are in almost the same size and shape, but I don't want to copy-paste it 3 times.

Blossom's guitar solo made my lose my young mind. Whoever played that guitar part that day, please be aware of my gratitude.

I love the sketchy, scratchy line art style. I wonder how would it looks with smooth shading, chances are I will settle with scratchy shading too again. I barely can wait to use a lot of filter on the line art layers to create a realistic lighting on top of everything.

Buttercup looks so happy during "Love makes The World goes round", I want to capture that rare calm happiness.
