[BatIM Cthulhu AU] I'd suggested that, while Sammy is trying to get over his nerves around music and performing after the events of Season 3, he might offer to play songs for Henry's kids as a low-stakes way to ease back into performing, and Maf immediately assured me that if Sammy came over to the Stein household, Henry would invite him to stay for dinner. THIS IS SO CUTE TO ME..... Sammy would be very socially unsure but like, he is not going to turn down homemade bacon soup.

I got back into Bendy and the Ink Machine recently, and naturally it's started haunting my dreams.

Do with this post what you will.

So the next installment (I think?) of the franchise is The Cage, which is once again from Henry's perspective, and takes place during the events of Dark Revival, documenting Henry's escape from the pit. So I had this dream that it had come out, and I was playing it. I think the main inspiration that kind riled this dream from the depths was this image from the game's steam page. (I brightened it for convenience sake.

Henry appears to be in some kind of cage (haha, titular) and Sammy is probably taunting him from behind the bars. That's... Honestly what my dream was about. But there was more to it that I think would be really interesting to see in the actual game. (It'd be cool to see, but I doubt I predicted anything that will happen.)

So Henry wakes up in this cage, and Sammy's taunting him with his usual nonsense when Henry realizes his wedding band is missing. (For reference, here's a picture of the wedding band on Henry's character model.)

So naturally Henry freaks out, because that ring is the only thing he really has of his wife Linda, and that's when Sammy, like the smug bastard that he is, reveals that he took it from Henry while he was unconscious. Obviously Henry demands Sammy to give it back, and Sammy eggs him on a bit, but eventually he agrees to give it back on one condition: Henry has to sing for it. (I think the singing part came from the fact that Henry's VA theMeatly is a really good singer. He actually sang Build our Machine as Henry in a video once, it was awesome.)

I woke up before there was any real conclusion, but if I had to finish the scene, I'd say that Henry sings a song for Sammy (I'd imagine either Willow Weep For Me or Wayfaring Stranger.), Sammy is moved by his performance, returns the ring, a bit of banter back and forth between these two because I crave it so, and eventually the two agree to team up because a team up between these two would be like 49 Christmases in one.

I feel like I should write this scene, or draw it out...
