I’m actually super proud as this is the first time I’ve done this perspective, or even attempted perspective.

Me and my best friend wanted new matching profile pictures so I decided to draw one. I had a clear image of a summer beach themed one because why not.

I’m having so much motivation to draw at the moment! And my art style has gotten better.

Sketch + lineart.

All together it was quite easy although I struggled a bit more with Joey but yeah.

I’m not showing the reference because the reference was actually just me. I took two pictures of myself for the two and put them into one.

My friend split it for us. Theres them on their own. Don’t mind Henry with his whole chest out.

All together it took 3 hours and 4 minutes which is pretty good because usually it’s 5 😀

I think the funniest thing to me sometimes is that some of my friends still think I don’t consume yaoi/yuri content because I’ve always been perceived/appeared as the childishly innocent one in the group who doesn’t have much interest in romance stories when in actuality on the internet I religiously write doomed one sided old man yaoi (sorry Creatorship) and actively consume tragic semi-fantasy love stories content like it’s my life support and every time I bring up this aspect in front of said friends they’d be like “whaaaaaaat you like these stuff” girl you have no idea

Of course!!

So my idea is basically that, like the canon, Henry left the studio, as it was taking him away from his home life and he was constantly giving while Joey was constantly taking. Henry is already a married man, but Joey, having Henry with him as long as the studio's been up, has essentially developed some very possessive feelings towards Henry, similar to how they are in comics by Deviantart artist Atsyrc in her/their comics for BATIM. And once Henry left, the possessiveness boiled over into obsession, and Joey made a "copy" of Henry and trapped him in the ink realm, and just did what do to all our blorbos: Put Henry in ✨️situations✨️

And he would be there, watching it all play out, watching Henry break over and over again, sometimes playing the white knight and being the one Henry turned to for comfort, REVELING in feeling Henry desperately hugging onto him and being relieved to see him after what's happened

Joey even does that, "I'm here. I've got you," comforting even though he is directly the cause of Henry's distress

He has Henry where he wants him, and he can torture him over and over for leaving him, but still see him whenever he wants

Not sure how else to describe it. Just Toxic old man yaoi big time
