Is there just any additional/general things that you could share about the AU? Anything about Human!MXES's situation, or new parts to the AU that were added, etc. Just anything- I'm listening.

Oh, don’t worry about the multiple asks! They’ve actually helped in jump-starting my memory about this AU. It’s been a few months since I’ve worked on it, so this has been a nice refresher.

(Also, it’s very nice to see someone who’s actually hyped up about MXES. So this has been a treat. :])

Now, about that question: I have tried to brainstorm a little bit after I answered the other asks. My best brainstorming is..

Human! MXES is either (1) a robot in a lore-modified illusion disk a la the Silver Eyes, (2) a hologram-turned-human via some process Glitchtrap and Faz Ent. know, or (3) a bizarre remnant-and-code fusion. He certainly looks human, I know that much.

I keep seeing him in my head as this lanky black-haired boy with a monochrome outfit. Like, white shirt with a black jacket and dark jeans. Considering his broad shoulders and sharp-as-a-saw jawline, though, I’m not that sold on it.

…I wonder if I can switch to him having bluish-black hair instead. That, or have him be a redhead so the Mimic can’t detect him… (That, and it’d be fun to draw imo)

..Not that this idea is canon yet, but it’d be interesting to storyboard/make the audio for.

The “transformation” back to MXES’ normal self would be him leaving the ‘body’, I think. Unless I go with the whole remnant fusion things, then it’ll be more like a dissolving into “thin air”. (Really just a teleporting back to the VR/AR realm)

In that human body, however, MXES has the blessing of modern day technology. He can either type down what he needs or pull up a text-to-speech to get his point across… If he can get a phone, that is. That’s his only hurdle.

If he can’t do that, then writing or gesturing is fine. He would do sign language if Faz Ent cared enough to train its security systems as well as its stars and human staff.

He’d probably pretend that he’s been voiceless since “birth” or has something that makes it hard to talk.

“Maxwell” or “Max” might be a good nickname for Human! MXES.
