behold! my worst takes ever!

I should clarify even though this is a shipping tier list the way I experience shipping as an aroace person is widely different than how fandom experiences it. for me, i don't count myself as a shipper - i just think certain guys are neat together no matter it romantic, platonic, etc.

Cyan tier: Important to note this is not a ship tier per-sey. this is me saying that romantic or not, these characters have such a fun dynamic and interactions that it is impossible for me to ignore the connection they have as characters. Mk and Red son just play off each other v well in my opinion even if thy aren't exactly a ship i'm ecstatic about. I just thing any relationship they have is bound to be fun to explore. and then Tang and Pigsy are just an old bickering married couple. I would be a fool if I ignored that lmao. They could be romantic or could not be but either way they come as a pair do not separate.

Green tier: Ships I understand and kinda low-key ship myself. There is something about the interactions that gets me.

light green tier: Characters that I think would only really be friends in terms of relationships. I cant see them being anything else really :)

Yellow: No strong opinions. they just exist and i just ignore them lmao

Gold: Characters who's dynamic i think works best as enemies. Like DBK and wukong? THE DRAMA. I wish they were focused on more! then with spider queen and wukong i can see the comedic effect of the relationship but i think ultimately they bounce off better as enemies

orange: just general ships I don't care for in general. I don't really see the appeal of them.

red: i do not like these ships. I do not understand why they are ships. to me they make no sense and overall r just blegh to see.

pink: my worst takes ever are here. I genuinely dislike dragonfruit and shadowpeach. i think their relationships are boring at best and annoying asf at worst. Macaque and Wukong work best when at each others throats imo + fandom mischaracterizes both of them to extremes that it makes this ship annoying as they cant even stick to the main characterizations. Then Dragonfruit I just... find very boring. Red son and Mei's dynamic feels very forced to me and just... it doesn't flow as nicely as MK and Red son's dynamic. it feels rushed and forced and this is mostly just becuz s3 ruined things for me.

grey: i do not understand where these came from + dont recognize the characters. i have no opinion on them except confusion.
