thinking about the fact that up to this point, we only got to see wukongs mistakes/wrong doings through the eyes of others for the most part.

Havoc in heaven? Azure lion. DBKs imprisonment? A story told by Tang. Macaques death? LBD.

I think the closest thing we got was that one scene where he talked about the fourth Samadhi fire ring.

Besides that, we've never heard him comment on any of his actions, he just kinda goes with what everyone else says.

I swear, if in S5 we don't get a "we need to jump into the broken scroll and see wukongs perspective/memory of things" arc then I'm gonna be upset /j

LMK SEASON 4 SPOILERS

Been thinking about it since watch lmk season 4 and honestly I really hope they don’t make Monkie King MK’s dad. Any way I can see that going would really make Monkie King seem like a bad person in a way that would taint his character and would completely reframe his and MK’s relationship in a way I really don’t want to happen.

Instead, I hope the he and MK can get closer and maybe they (*cough* MK *cough*) can admit that they are found family, something stronger than blood.

The only way I can see MK and Monkie King being related working out even a bit is if he somehow came from the same rock he did and made his way to Pigsy without Monkie King ever knowing he existed. And even then I would honestly prefer them to not be related.

If they do choose to go the MK and Monkie King are related route I am at least glad that they’ve amped up the MK and Pigsy stuff a bit because h Tu e one thing I really don’t want is for a surprise blood relation to overshadow or delegitimize found family.

TL;DR: I don’t want MK and Monkie King to be related because I like found family and think it is important to show that you don’t need blood family to have family.

Hey, this is just sort of food for thought for you At Your Service AU. There's a theory that MK was supposed to be the main power source for the mech, since the fire was a last second addition. What if (and I know this may not be canon) if MK was being trained to become the power source?

For reference the theory comes from the vision LBD showed Monkey King of MK bursting into blue energy, as well as the theory that LBD knew MK was a monkey.

Might be good for an angsty bad ending or something.

Monkie Kid Season 4 Special thoughts

Monkie Kid Season 4 Special thoughts under the read more.

Nice ending, but not as great as the finale with Lady Bone demon.

I can't wait to see an English transaltion of the special. I couldn't tell if they even clarify MK's past with Sun Wukong.

We get to see like a whole flippin' two minutes of Tang's sexy new hairdo! Also, I hate how Pigsy, Tang and Sandy seem to get sidelined in the finales. We get to see them all GQ for a whopping…what? 5 minutes?

Season 1 finale - yeah it's hinted they fight some goons, but it's not seen.

Season 2 finale - they're pretty helpless on the hovercraft (but so was Mei)

Season 3 finale - yeah, Tang has the shinest moment out of that trio, but we don't really see any action from Pigsy and Sandy. Again, it's hinted they did some things off screen and then when it comes to what action we do see, it's all a group effort. I just want to see Pigsy and Sandy go ape shit for once.

Season 4 finale - it's almost the same as Season 3. A group effort. The small fight we do see against Yellow Tusk….really ain't all that great.

Does this mean they get to keep their new weapons now? I would like to see Pigsy rake action.

A new video has been posted to MonkieKid.

The camera flicks on to reveal a person's chest, covered with a black tank, and lower face. Their eyes and hair are out of the shot, leaving their identity a mystery. Soft music plays.

QI XIAOTIAN pops up into view to hold up a tube of lipstick. It's designed to mimic the legendary Ruyi Jingu Bang with the company's name done in gold on the side. He pops off the cap, showing the lipstick's ruby red color, before carefully applying the lipstick.

Once his lips are done up, he turns to his mystery guest and grins before leaning forward and softly kissing them on the lips. When he pulls away, their lips are now slightly red. He grins again at the camera before returning to his partner and beginning to kiss on all the available skin.

When he finally pulls away, his partner is covered in ruby red lipstick marks. XIAOTIAN once again holds up the lipstick to show the camera the brand name before winking. The video ends.
