During the race today, I knew going in Logan wasn't going to be there racing, but I kept finding myself looking down to see where he was on the board.
And I kept getting sad over it and having to remind myself this is the new norm. No more Logan, no more lil American. No more fun podcast between Alex and Logan. No more driver parade catch-ups with Oscar and Logan. No more rooting for a man from *my* country, no more rooting for *my* underdog.
And I think that's what hurts the most. My underdog was taken from me prematurely. No proper goodbye. Just a post saying that they were firing him mid-season.
This season has been exhausting as a Logan fan and as sad and heartbroken as I will be come December because it will be Carlos' last race in red with the prancing horse, I can't wait for it to be over because I can start to put this terrible鈥攜et exciting鈥攕eason behind me and rebuild my love for this sport.

Roger Federer will always be my favourite. Not because he has won insane number of titles or his game was implacable but because throughout my youth he was the only top athlete i have seen openly ugly sob at the end of a tournament, no matter if he had won or lost. For a kid who was always made fun for being too emotional & felt ashamed of not being able to control emotions better and crying in public, seeing Roger's chin wobble at Wimbledon has literally been life changing.
