had a conversation with my mom about my perception of myself vs how others see me as a trans man, and my fears with that, and ended up crying in the middle of it. I apologized to her and she said this, and it was like. Damn.
it's been a journey with her since I came out 6 years ago, and we're finally at a point where I feel hopeful that when I transition medically, she's gonna be there to help. I've always apologized for who I am, especially to her, and it's really nice knowing I don't have to do that anymore. Not with my mom, at least

All for mi mom, I love mi mom 💯❣️❗️
Tumblr media
If my mom was a flower I see her as the tiger lily, she has a firey spirit and something about her makes me feel like she has a strong aura. Another thing I share with her is the fact that both of us were born on the lunar year of the Tiger. I love my mom :D
Happy mothers day, don't forget to tell your mom how much you appreciate her.

Some personal stuff…
I spent time with my mom yesterday and I just appreciate her so much.
Though there are difficult times between us due to her disease (I prefer not to say what the disease is, but it has caused us some rough patches), we can still manage to have a wonderful time together.
I’m just trying to spend as much time with her as I can, to create memories that will last before I can’t any longer.
We watched her favorite movie: You’ve Got Mail. We ordered pizza and ate ice cream. I was so happy to see her laughing at the overall silliness of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan being oblivious about each other’s real identity. Then we both went on about how we wanted to go to New York again, which we did last year.
We bond most when watching our favorite films. I just realized yesterday that all the movies we watch repeatedly have Tom Hanks in it😭
• You’ve Got Mail
• Sleepless in Seattle
• Philadelphia
Haha, anyways, just wanted to express the lovely day I had yesterday. And to express how important it is to spend time with your parents. I hate how I can be so busy sometimes and I just don’t have the chance to hang out with her. Now as I’ve gotten older, I take every chance I get. For example, today we’re going out to a few stores. Not for anything fancy, just everyday supplies, but we’re still spending time together.
I love my mom. ❤️

Reason # 368291 of why I love my mom
The other day I had a shitty day. My car wouldn’t start because the gas froze and I had to walk to school. While walking there, I slipped on the ice and fell on my ass (and landed on my bad hip, too). Apparently, this fall ripped the asscheek of my favorite pair of jeans (these jeans happened to be thrifted). But I didn’t notice this until half an hour later when I was sitting in my chair in class and realized I felt the chair too much. I had to borrow a pair of pants from the school. And it gets worse. After that, I had lunch, and I went for a bbq chicken sandwich, only for all the big pieces of chicken to have been picked through in the lunch line, leaving three small ass bbq chicken patties no bigger than a nugget. And I was standing there waiting for the lunch ladies to bring out a new container of chicken, only for one of the lunch ladies to fucking force me to grab one (1) of the bbq chicken nuggets for my sandwich. She said I couldn’t get two, oh no, because I would get charged for extra even though other kids were getting more chicken than I was. I was FUMING.
I ranted about it over text to my mom because yes I know I’m almost an adult but you know what? I’m still going to cry to my mom about shit when it gets hard because she’s a comforting person. When she picked me up from school to take me to work, she brought me a new pair of pants from my drawer at home, and she brought me Chick Fil A (yes I understand Chic Fil A is problematic but damnit I wanted a chicken sandwich) with a frozen lemonade.
And my car? She managed to get the gas to unfreese enough to start up my car, take it to the gas station, pour the Heet in my gas tank, topped off my gas to mix it in, bought and installed a new tail light for me (my back tail light wasn’t working anymore and I needed a new one) ALL AFTER buying me a new car battery the day before.
But that’s not the biggest reason I love her.
Today I was pouting about my favorite pair of jeans being ruined, and she went out of her way to look at all the tags on the jeans and figured out EXACTLY where to get me a new pair exactly like them. And she ordered them for me.
I love her so much.

Was looking at pictures my dad sent from my parents work trip to Finland and I'm convinced my mom is the prettiest woman in the world. It makes me so sad to hear her put herself down because she's genuinely so gorgeous in my eyes. And looking in the mirror feels a little bit better when I notice I have her eyes.

A bit of a trigger warning because this slightly mentions about child abuse and suicidal thoughts.
Might go quite a bit on here with my works, because I decided to work on a gift for my mom. Because she is the one parent that I feel have actually been there for me all my life even when I was at my lowest points in my childhood. I may not be able to tell her everything about me and how I'm feeling, due to the trauma my biological father gave me whenever I tried to get help in the past because I was scared that I was actually so something to myself, but I love her with all my heart and am forever thankful that she was and still is in my life.
So I'm gonna be working on this piece for a bit, especially since it's a physical art work instead of digital art work. So other projects are gonna be put on hault (except for any art requests or commissions I get during this time). Though I might post a few progress posts showing how much I've done with the work.
