“So where we going, Boss?”

Yancy trailed after Wilford as they left the police station, waving to CJ on the way out, before hopping into the car. Wilford shot him a grin he’d grown accustomed to – one that was not the mad grin that led to stupid ideas. Like confronting Dark, by himself, in the middle of mod territory. “It’s a little bakery, not too far out. Jackie mentioned it once. Figured we could check it out.”

The drive was short, and soon enough, the arrived at a building that looked a little rundown on the outside, with pink signage spelling out ‘Bake Those Buns’ as the name. Yancy raised an eyebrow, but he followed Wilford inside to a…surprisingly cozy place, with soft pinks and creams and tans, pink booths and floor tiles. A man Yancy assumed was the owner going by the pink suit he wore grinned at them from behind the counter. His name tag read Leslie. “Welcome to Bake Those Buns! What can I get for ya?”

After placing their orders, Yancy and Wilford migrated to a booth and sat down. Wilford started chatting idly about – something, Yancy hadn’t really been paying attention. He’d been rotating a question in his mind for a while now, and it just – blurted out, without really meaning to, cutting Wilford off mid sentence. “So – what’s the deal with youse and Dark anyhow? Why’re you after him so bad?”

Wilford froze, staring at him for a second, before giving him just a sad little smile. “…Ah. Well – I suppose I should’ve expected this question. It’s a long story, my boy. Are you sure you want to hear it?”

Moving Camp

“So you’re just going to-” Dark didn’t even get to finish asking his question before Mad slammed a hammer down on the science machine. He watched as the machine turned into a pile of supplies, and Mad picked up the pieces and added them to a backpack. 

“Most of these items stack, and it appears that whenever we put them into a bag, they combine almost magically, but we’re able to pull them out one at a time as long as we can recall what we placed in them,” Mad explained as he handed the bag to Dark. 

“Alright,” Dark said flatly as he slipped the bag over his shoulder. 

“We’re making great progress,” Mad caught that low mood. “I can’t blame you for wanting to get out of here as fast as possible, but if we’re not prepared, it won’t end well.” He felt bad that his words didn’t help since Dark only nodded at him before walking off to be with Wilford. 

“He’s out of his element,” Mare said after Dark was gone.

“We all are.” Mad picked up his own backpack. 

“I mean, he has no control. Dark’s whole thing is being in charge, leading, and knowing everything that’s happening, but you and Phantom are the only ones who understand the world we’ve been sent to, and Dark has to figure it out with the rest of us.” Mare explained as he helped Mad with putting his backpack on. He knew it wasn’t needed, but he was having a similar struggle to Dark, whether he was willing to admit it or not. 

“I bet it is a little weird having me and Phantom in charge.” Mad chuckled, placing a hand on the one on his shoulder, tilting his head up, and smiling at Mare. 

“Just a little.” Mare kissed Mad’s forehead and smiled at Mad squeezing his hand. 

“If we leave now, we’ll be able to make it to the new camping spot and create our fire pits before night kicks in,” Phantom said, pointing to the spot on the map. Bing had given up on his shirt at this point with how often people were looking at the map. “We’re aiming for this specific spot.” Phantom touched the spot he spoke of, and he quickly pulled his hand away at an almost shocking feeling getting his finger. Bing flinched in shock at the same feeling getting him, and he placed his hand over it.

“What was that?” Bing asked.  

“Static or something?” Phantom looked at his hand and noticed a bright red spot on the tip of his finger. 

“The fuck is that?” Anti asked, pointing up at the sky. Phantom followed the point and saw a big red spot in the air. 

“That’s where we’re supposed to be going,” Phantom said. 

“That spot’s on the map,” Google stated, having moved Bing’s hand to check on him and seeing the red circle. 

“Makes me think of a map marker.” Chase committed. “You know, like those arrows on the screen’s compass that shows you where to go.”

“We’re just now using that?” Marvin asked.

“Don’t Starve doesn’t have that.” Phantom continued looking at the circle in the air. “But Mad made a mod that does.” 

“A mod?” Yancy asked. 

“He didn’t like having to always check the full map to see where to go since the mini-map mod we got only showed so much. He wanted that compass thing Chase mentioned,” Phantom explained

“Does this mean the mods you and Mad use are part of this world?” Chase asked. 

“Do you guys have cheats?” Jackie asked. 

“Most of our mods are just visual things, the map marker, colored wormholes, health bars-”

“Wormholes?” Jackie and Chase asked together, cutting off Phantom’s list. 

“They’re like mouth-looking things that you jump into and it sends you across the map. It takes some sanity away to do so as well.” Phantom was back to looking at the map, pointing out the icons. “It looks like we’ve gotten close to a few of them and the colors won’t show up until they get used. They might be useful when we start properly looking for the door to save some travel time.”

“Maybe we’ll get lucky and not have to jump into the literal asshole.” Chase made a face at seeing the wormhole icon. 

“It has teeth,” Phantom added and laughed when that got Chase’s face to scrunch up more.

“Is that our map marker?” Mad asked, eyes to the sky as he stood next to Phantom.

“I think our mods are in the game,” Phantom said. 

“So those health bars we saw on the spiders ain’t usually in the game?” Yancy asked. 

“Please tell me you have like a cheat that makes you auto-win or something.” Mare said. 

“Where would the fun in an auto-win be?” Mad shrugged. 

“Like I was saying, it’s mostly just visual stuff to make tracking things easier. We like the game as it is but we like making certain things less annoying and tedious.” Phantom said.

“Like disabling the monkeys in Shipwrecked,” Mad added.

“Fuck those monkeys.” Phantom huffed. 

“Great. More information that doesn’t help us.” Dark and Wilford had joined with the others toward the end of the conversation, catching just enough to know what was being discussed. 

“Every little bit helps, Dark.” Wilford patted Dark’s back. Dark looked as if he wanted to say something else but bit his tongue and just sighed instead. 

“Now I wish we had invested in some more mods,” Mad said as he started walking, knowing the others would follow as he went toward the red spot in the sky. “Even if it was just for one time, maybe it would have transferred to this situation.” 

“Not like we can change the past.” Phantom chewed the inside of his cheek. 

“You stole that line from me.” Mare softly chuckled. 

“No, I didn’t.” 

“I literally tell you that all the time when you-”

“No, you don’t.” 

“The fuck you mean I don’t? I just told you last week when you were pouting about-”

“Lah, lah, lah.” Phantom started singing, putting his hands over his ears. 

“You are so immature.” Mare tried to grab Phantom’s wrists to move his hands but Phantom easily slipped away. 

“You started it.” Phantom stuck his tongue out.

“These are moments I should record and show Robbie wherever he asks for a sibling.” Chase laughed. 

“Robbie’s been asking for a sibling?” Anti asked.

“Ain’t that like Blank’s thing?” Yancy asked. 

“Robbie says that Blank’s his boyfriend.” Chase’s comment got Mare to stop his ‘fight’ with Phantom. 

“Blank is his what?” Mare’s tone dropped.

“Well, that answers what Blank tells Mare.” Marvin clicked his tongue.

“They’re five, they can’t have boyfriends.” Mare said. 

“Having a boyfriend at that age means they hold hands sometimes. It’s cute and innocent.” Chase said. 

“Back to the sibling conversation.” Jackie skipped ahead a little and walked backward. “Is Robbie expecting like an actual sibling or just another kid? Cause like RJ and CJ should count, right?” 

“RJ and CJ are cousins according to Robbie,” Chase explained. 

“So he’s wanting a new child Septiceye?” Illinois asked. 

“Something like that, I guess.” Chase scratched his cheek. 

“He doesn’t really understand where we come from,” Marvin added. “I feel like the only way to ensure there is another child is to adopt but I don’t think adopting an average human child would work out well.” 

“We do not need another child, most of us are childish enough on our own,” Dark stated. 

“You don’t like being a daddy~?” Anti asked Dark with a big grin. “I think you wear that title well~” 

“Chase, Dark, and Mare are very good daddies,” Mad said with an innocent smile. 

Wilford and most of the others broke out into a loud laugh. Jackie and Yancy looked just as confused as Mad and both Dark and Google rolled their eyes. 

“I’m going to throw up.” Phantom faked a gag. 

“What? Why? What am I missing?” Mad asked. 

“I’ll explain later.” Mare sighed.

(This is just a quick blurb, so might not have a title! But here we go! @iamvegorott)

Yancy ran into Darks office, looking worried. It was Fathers Day, and he had no idea what to do for Anti. He had been pondering and asking around for weeks, but he couldn't decide on what to get. Now, he was panicking.

"Ma! I don't have anything for Pa! It's Father's Day and I couldn't pick nothing out!"

Dark blinked a bit and took a breath, "So you're panicking on what to get him? Well, he likes sour candy, coffee, and anything electronic. What were your ideas?"

Yancy looked about to pull his hair out, "Well, I thought of all those things, but they didn't seems good enough, Ma! And hows do I gets that stuff now without him noticing?"

Dark chuckles a little, "I can go distract him, you can go ask Wilford to help you. Especially with candy. And Google might have something fun for him to toy with electronically."

Yancy nods and runs off, finding Wilford first with his bright pink hair. He was walking around and asking Google some questions, as Yancy silently went 'Yes!' in his head. What as the luck he'd find them both at once?

"Guys. I need youse help! I need something for Pa for Father's Day. Ma said youse both could help me with sour candy and something electronic for 'im!"

Wilford grins, "Well of course I'll help! I can pop in some candy, and why don't we get him a mug for his coffee, since he's a little picky about his dirty bean water?"

Yancy sighs in relief, "That sounds amazin'..."

Google raises an eyebrow, "I'm sure I can find something for him, but why did you wait until Father's Day to get him a gift for Father's Day?"

Yancy looks nervous, "I couldn't decide! I just needs help, Google."

Google sighs and walks off as Wilford laughs, "He'll be back with something fun, but why don't we make him a card too?"

Wilford snaps his fingers and the candy and mug appear before the card making supplies of colored paper, glitter glue, confetti and fun markers. Yancy nods and makes a very fun looking green card with paper 'glitches' on it for him as Google comes back with an old Tamagotchi and a modded up laptop.

"Here, I hope he likes these. Bing doesn't need them on top of all of his other things."

Yancy smiles and hugs Google with a huge Thank You. Wilford pops it all into a box with green wrapping paper and a black bow, setting the card on top, putting the whole thing in Yancy's hands and pushing him gently.

"Darky said they were in the game room. Go on now, Yancy! It's showtime!"

Yancy stumbles a little but nods and shyly makes his way in. Anti and Dark both turn when they see him, and Anti tilts his head. Yancy just sets the box in his lap.

"Happy Father's Day, Pa... I hope youse like it..."

Anti opens in and reads the card, setting the bos aside and pulling him in for a big hug. Yancy smiles and hugs him back as Dark chuckles.

"Anti, my darling, are you crying?"

Anti wipes his eyes, "No, it's just allergies, my eyes are watering."

Dark rolls his eyes, "You don't have allergies."

Anti playfully smacks his leg, "Oh shut up. I love it, Yancy. Thank you."

Yancy smiles, "I love you too, Pa."

(I'll have to write a sequel since it's Darks Birthday!)

We're assuming it's this, for Dr.IplierxYancyxHost, aka Dr.Criminal Record - Mod Regal

1. Who sleeps/sits in the middle? Do they switch?

They rotate, but usually Yancy is in the middle. He likes to gravitate towards warmth in his sleep, and hold onto them like they’re plushies. Sometimes, however, the others get middle. Either from Dr.Iplier elbowing his way in after getting off his shift late, or Dr. Iplier just collapsing into bed without care and the Host ending up in the middle

2. What does the bed situation look like?

The bed is primarily grey, with black and grey pillows. They would have white, but they had to get rid of that long ago thanks to Host’s bleeding.

The right side of the bed is primarily Host’s. He has a black nightstand, which contains bandages, his pills, Yancy’s pills, some basic first aid stuff, cat treats for their orange cat, Pumpkin, and a decorative anteater stuffed animal.

The back of the bed, between the mattress and frame, contains a knife. Several knives, in fact, curtesy of Yancy. There’s also some odds and ends, like some change, some cash, and a few poems from Host.

The left side of the bed is primarily Dr.Iplier’s. It contains a charging station, pager, glasses, and a hand-carved and painted wooden doctor teddy bear with a heart atop the black nightstand. He also has a tardis throw blanket that is Van Goh-esque, reminiscent of Starry Night. Yancy helps fold it each morning, so they can extend its lifespan free of wear and tear.

3. Who fights more about stupid things and who ends up having to break up their childish arguments?

Mostly Dr. Iplier and Yancy fight, as they have certain disagreements. Such as over the kitchen, as Yancy reigns there with an iron fist. The Host’ll break it up, eventually, after he’s gotten his laughs. All of them have been known to bicker, however, as they’re all stubborn.

4. Which two got together first? Or did they all start dating each other at once?

Yancy and the Host got together first, after some messing around with each other. Later, Dr.Iplier was added when Yancy started dragging him to have lunch and dinners with him and Host. Quite literally kidnapping him from the hospital.

5. Who do people usually think is the third wheel?

Dr. Iplier, since he came in a good few years after the Host and Yancy started dating. Also, Yancy and Host are rather reclusive, so they tend to frequent the same places when they do go out, and neither like to head out alone.

6. Who is the best cook? Who’s the worst cook? And who is the middle ground?

Yancy is the best, and the Host is the worst, leaving Dr. Iplier as the middle ground (though he’s not great either).

7. Who has been banned from choosing the movie because they have notoriously bad taste?

The Host. He can’t watch them anyway, and he judges solely by title, which, unsurprisingly, turns out to be a big mistake.

8. Who’s the biggest drama queen?

They’re all pretty dramatic, Yancy’s just the loudest.

9. Who’s the most responsible?

Dr. Iplier, on a good day.

10. Who cannot be trusted at home alone?

Yancy cannot be trusted at home alone. He’ll turn the whole place upside down in a burst of energy, or he’ll get wound up. He has a nerf gun when he’s home alone for a reason- so he doesn’t throw knives at anyone who comes to the door.

However, Yancy doesn’t trust Dr.Iplier to not fuck with his kitchen utensils.

11. Who has to drag their partner(s) out to be social?

Dr. Iplier, as Yancy and the Host are both incredibly antisocial. Host, for obvious reasons of woods, being in the body of a serial killer, lack of eyes, talks in third person, and Yancy because he’s been in prison for about half his life by the time he got out, and was fed a lot of lies.

12. Who has to kill the spiders? And who refuses to even get near them?

Yancy refuses to get near them, they creep him the fuck out. He also has bad times, when it comes to bugs. He never knows if they’re real.

The Host is probably the one called to murder, though he’ll just let them outside.

13. Who cries the most?

Probably the Host, with nightmares, general Trauma and guilt over the Author, and visions.

14. Who ends up clinging to one or both of their partners in their sleep?

All of them. They all cling.

15. Who’s the shortest?

Yancy is the shortest at 5’5”

16. Who’s the tallest?

The Host is the tallest at 6′1″

17. Who is the responsible adult at the grocery store?

Dr. Iplier, though the Host can be if he really has to. However, Host also has fun whining, and messing with his lovers.

18. Who acts like a child every time they go shopping?

Both Yancy and the Host are equally childish I think, besides for when they withdraw thanks to people.

19. Who is forced to drive while the other two make out on the back seat on road trips.

Considering neither Yancy nor the Host have a license, Dr. Iplier.

20. Who is banished to the back seat while the other two talk in the front on road trips

Yancy, as he messes around with the radio too much. He also certainly isn’t allowed to drive, because he has bad road rage.

Hey, youse, do you like A Heist With Markiplier? Do you like Yancy? Like creating? If yes then you’re welcome to join the First Visitation Day Gift Exchange Program! 

In celebration for the first Third Sunday of the month since AHWM, (more importantly, the I WANT TO BE FREE, ending 12) we’ve decided to run this lil event! 

If you don’t know what a gift exchange is, it’s simple! Basically, it’s an event where a group of people sign up and are given each other's names, then by the given date they have to finish a gift to give to the name they received! 

Sign-ups are from November 5th (Tuseday) to November 8th (Friday, if people still want to join though it might be the 9th). On Nov. 11th (Monday, or Tuesday at the latest) you’ll receive a username and (if there is any!) additional information! You’ll then have a week to finish your gift for them and you’ll be able to post them on November 17th, the third Sunday of the month!
