Hey everyone! As you may have noticed, we're not very active anymore. We've mostly left tumblr and I don't think we have any plans to return. We've decided to give up this blog to anyone who wants to keep it alive, and if there's no interest then it will eventually be deactivated.

If you're interested in picking up this blog then please DM us! The only conditions are that you must be a small and endo-positive system. If there's interest from more than one system then we'll see if you'd be happy co-modding, and if not then we'll pick the new mod system based on vibes.

Sil tends to be quite standoffish and rude, but he very rarely attacks first. They still serve Blackrock, but are wary of Subspace due to their bond with Spark. He spends most of his time (that isn't dedicated to doing menial tasks) outside stargazing or researching topics that fascinate them. He will gladly "talk about" (infodump) about whatever new hobby they picked up or something they learned about, so make sure you have plenty of free time if you wanna hold a conversation.

Spark appears much more timid and kind-hearted than its best friend Sil, but that sweetness suppresses a short temper and a tendency to jump to conclusions. It openly defied its programming, even going so far as to move to Playground. It is very protective of Sil and his friend Jupiter, along with others it gets along with (e.g. Boombox and Skateboard) It loves animals and seems to have a natural affinity for caring for them, particularly how he can "communicate" with its cat Pebble.

Overview:

In the aftermath of the events of the Sumeru Archon quest, Epsilon is a Segment on the run from his creator, Dottore. Saved from being purged like the other Segments by only a bit of faulty programming, Epsilon is now forced to reckon with his creator's actions, his imperfections, and a newfound sense of individuality.

Rules:

Mod is a minor, so absolutely no NSFW is allowed. Any NSFW is an immediate block and blacklist. If this account interacts with you and you are not comfy with interaction with minors, mod apologizes, despite his efforts sometimes things slip through the cracks.

Mod likes morally corrupt characters. Yes, mod still has boundaries about how far he is willing to take them. Push these boundaries and you will be blocked.

This blog allows shipping so long as it is of age. That said, no relationship with Epsilon will ever be fully healthy or normal. He is highly likely to see the whole relationship as an ongoing experiment and it shows.

No shipping wars. I'll just block you. Also most of mod's personal ships are OC x canon, so please respect that he often has no opinion on most canon x canon ships. While he is happy to talk about his headcanons and OC x canon ships, harassment over it will lead to a block.

All ships will be a medium to slow burn. Epsilon takes awhile to actually trust people.

Personality:

Epsilon is an intelligent man with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, but he's also a coward at heart. He's arrogant and often too proud to ask for help - or too afraid to. Generally, he gives off the unsettling vibes of an unstable madman, which he is. However, he is also talkative and curious, and who's to say he can't occasionally rein himself in long enough to be 'normal'?

Appearance:

Epsilon is a tall and lanky individual with messy blue hair, red eyes, and a chemical burn scar over the upper left side of his face. He tends to wear all kinds of glowing vials of liquid, button-up shirts, an oversized labcoat, and a bright red bandana. His smile is filled with unnaturally sharp teeth. Pressing down too hard on the bridge of his nose will open his faceplate and reveal the mechanical workings beneath.

Other trivia:

This man is way more easily startled than he'd have you believe

Epsilon carries all of Dottore's memories, including any and all traumatic ones (being branded a heretic, facing continuous rejection from his own people, being an outcasted child prodigy...) and it heavily affects him

He doesn't really need to eat but he loves meat. Raw meat. Please don't let him prepare food for you

Around 3 months ago i tried starting a big RimWorld playthrough where i would work on overthrowing and starting a brand new empire while keeping a bloodthirsty sanguophage royal with a hair trigger happy so she doesn't rip everyone that serves her to shreds.

Unfortunately for me having around 500 mods broke the save at one point (kind of fortunately) early in the playthrough.

To make matters worse for me i have already ended a previous playthrough early for the sake of this one since i just had to try it.

But yeah, unfortunately this is all thats left. i will try to showcase what i have from the w.i.p screenshots of characters and ideology i was sending my girlfriend when just telling her what fucked up things i will need to do <3

Starting off with the most important person in the colony

Luna Vayonor (unfortunately with a default random nickname)

I spent SO MUCH time in the character editor and im still very proud of the result, i often spend alot of time making those characters unique.

I decided to make Luna the best leader i could think of, that being "do as i will or i will kill you and if i have to sleep in a shed for 5 more seconds i AM executing you! You worthlessness pice of- *mental breakdown*"

To offset her specific and exaggerated needs for survival i did make her very powerful by giving her very good traits, skills and skills for the start of the game.

Although i ofc gave her lots of bad ones for character reasons:

- Jealous for alot of negative mood effects if someone has anything better than her (she deserves the best)

- Abrasive is self explanatory she will insult people and has little to no restraint when it comes to saying what she thinks

- Snob was just perfect while creating her. I didn't know it was a trait but here it is! For creating a spoiled royal its just way to perfect

and finally the double edged sword from the traits is quick sleeper believe it or not

Sure it cuts the sleeping time wich is super useful and makes pawns just do more work, but when a pawn is sleeping, theyre not affected by any mood effects. So technically she can have more mental breakdowns that i will explain a bit later cuz they're also special

i actually forgot what everchosen was though

Next we have the xenotype wich was supposed to be a Modified sanguophage one but i forgot a few of thier genomes lol

i went for a mix of combat focused genes and character building ish genes (appearance and personality)

The most important thing? Epsilon psyker and sanguophage thingys

it was the best choice for making Luna psychic while also (like everything else here lol) having a bad side to it since its a permanent negative mood effect! Another thing about psykers is that EVERY mental breakdown they have is violent, this is why everyone needs to keep her happy, she will kill someone otherwise

oh and since shes a ruler thingy i also gave her a mech link and some cool buffs for it.

Also oh my god blood vomit is such a cool thing for them since they loose hemogen so if they est something bad its x3 as bad for them (1. they get negative mood. 2. in most cases food poisoning. 3. loose hemogen. everything giving mood and stat debuffs? why? because fuck me thats why im not allowed to have fun, Loosing is fun!)

Oh btw i didn't mean to give her long ears,.i thought they were horns cuz i was clicking through the appearance genomes to find cool ass horns.

i picked Low immunity and survival to balance things out and not make her eat 24/7 and underdeveloped teeth for the same reason.

Volatile is just fun and makes things a bit harder and easier at the same time so thats that i guess.

rest is just stats and telekinesis cuz thats cool and fits with a psyker ruler thingy.

and yeah thats about it for Luna Vayonor.

Her name obviously means Moon but i just named her after my old dog i had since i was very little, she was a golden retriever but like, she was the whitest one out there, her fur was almost completely white nit like other golden retriever. Fun fact about her! she used to kind of smile by showing her upper teeth and just sniff like that it was so funny looking and she really tried smiling too! (it was a bit annoying explaining it to people that were afraid but yeah!!! it was silly)

The other character i made for this playthrough is this jackofalltraits ball of anxiety

unfortunately i dont have the xenotype but basically a perfect servant for sangophages.

Honestly not much to say about them anyway. Just wanted to have a actual useful colonist.

Oh and my head cannon was thst they were inlove with Luna but ofc she would never love him back (why would she?)

Oh and thank you @out-of-context-rimworld for choosing Luna's name, happy to see that the character will live on in someone's playthrough. It does fit too since they have a lucyferium need.

ZOEY is a spunky aspiring civil engineer who has always dreamed of building bridges. Though she can be a little rough around the edges at times, she is a truly kindhearted person who has a strong intuition and is incredibly loyal to her family and friends.

Zoey is the oldest of the three children in her family though she is only older than her fraternal twin sister, Lorraine, by 3 minutes. Her brother, Jared, is four years younger than her.

Since her father was in the U.S. Navy, she moved around a lot especially as a kid. She had lived in 5 different countries by the time she was 10 (United States, Italy, Greece, Spain, and United Kingdom, in that order). When her father became an admiral, her family settled near the Navy Base in Seaport, the closest coastal town to Faraway Town, when she was in High School and has stayed there for the time being.

While her sister Lorraine was playing with dolls, she was building bridges out of blocks and tinker toys and dreaming of becoming a civil engineer in the future. Her dream university has always been the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), but she gave it up to follow her sister to the University of Somewhere City: hoping to look out for her and keep her out of too much trouble.

Zoey was always academically gifted and was the Salutatorian of her high school graduating class after a heated rivalry for the Valedictorian spot ended in her defeat by half a percentage point.

Zoey can really take or leave most people, but she is fiercely loyal to her people (her family and the friends she has chosen). She and Hero’s friend, Kyle, have been best friends since high school having met when she tutored him in Chemistry and Math. At first, she thought he was just a shameless flirt and a shallow rich boy who didn’t apply himself, but they eventually connected over feeling a little lost in the shadows of their siblings (with Kyle feeling like the “dumb brother” compared to his overachieving older brothers and Zoey as the “weird sister” compared to the bubbly, popular, and universally loved Lorraine). By the time they’re in college, they’re practically siblings to each other, and though Kyle annoys her by calling her “Zuzu,” he swears she’s the first real friend he’s ever had.

Her favorite band is The Cranberries. In high school, she actually had a pixie cut inspired by the lead singer, but her hair has since grown out. She still keeps it cropped relatively short though.

Zoey isn’t much of a partier and prefers to spend most of her evenings studying with a warm cup of tea. Recently, her roommate, Tamra, a music education major, has gotten her hooked on listening to classical music while studying as well.

She, somewhat begrudgingly, joined the Triple E [Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon] sorority only because Lorraine demanded they also take her sister otherwise she wouldn’t join herself. Eventually the other girls warmed up to her because she took care of them when they were nursing hangovers, and she was quickly deemed their “mom friend.”

Her favorite flower is the red amaryllis. She loves the color but also its symbolism of strength and determination and the fact that the same bulb can bloom multiple times if given proper care. Her mother is an avid gardener who always plants amaryllises for her.

Though she is a self-proclaimed “realist” who doesn’t care much for romances, she does allow her sister, Lorraine, to drag her to see most of the latest romantic comedies at the movie theater. Occasionally, she finds one she really enjoys. Her favorite is “Return To Me” which she saw in theaters 3 times because she considered it so sincere and it reminded her of the classic black-and-white films she loves.

Zoey’s favorite color is red, but she never wears it because it clashes too much with her hair. She does have a red umbrella that she got as a Christmas gift from her parents that she uses often on her much loved rainy days.

A/N: Her name means “life” (which may or may not be a bit of an intentional pun on our part)

Bonus: Sunny is a big fan of Zoey's and thinks she’s spunky and very nice. Zoey is his favorite of all of Hero’s college friends besides Kyle (but only because he once gave Sunny “the greatest gift [he] had ever received”) 😊
