The basement door swings open and Emmett meets Marty in the living room, a flurry of activity and anticipation that follows a long stint caught in one of his inventive throes. The remote control is burning a hole in his pocket and though he wants to tell him everything that he's been working on and share in the excitement, this is one of those instances where seeing will have a much more profound effect than simply telling him about it.

He has sense enough to pause in his reveal to carefully look his friend over for any obvious signs of distress—when he sees nothing of the sort that suggests Marty needs more of a parental figure than a friend, he continues, his vigour renewed.

❝Your timing is impeccable, Marty. I was going to wait until I'd confirmed its success to show you, but since you're here, would you mind lending me a hand? Unless, of course, you needed something first?❞

Yuletide 2024 Nominations!

Hello, my dears!

It's the time of year again to nominate the 7KPP characters for Yuletide! For those who are unfamiliar, Yuletide is a yearly fanfiction gift exchange for small fandoms (fewer than 1000 works in English) on AO3, where the fandoms and characters that can be requested are nominated by users. You can find more information about it on the AO3 collection or on their Dreamwidth.

Nominations are currently open, for both fandoms and for characters. 7KPP will definitely be nominated but individual characters to request will also need to be nominated, so we're putting together a list to keep track of which characters have already been nominated, and who we have yet to nominate!

Note that you do not have to participate in the gift exchange itself to nominate, though you do have to have an AO3 account! You also do not have to nominate to participate, so if you're interested in the future, please feel free to hop in and join the fun!

Nominations are open through September 20 at 9 am UTC!

Please reply/reblog this post/message me to let me know who you are nominating and I will update the post accordingly so we can keep as careful track as we can! A Statement From Former Wiki Administrator, Gaycowboyrats

Thanks to the hard work of @ninjapeach671-blog (author of the fanfic Scamson, as a completely non-subtle friend plug), Gaycowboyrats has been found and is in contact with me over Tumblr!

They've given us permission to post messages & references to their Tumblr account.

This is Emmett (they/star), or Gaycowboyrats, or @boyscoutpaladin here on Tumblr! Thank you again to Emmett for reaching out.

First, a statement on the supposedly-racist Ratehouse account:

This lines up with my own checking- the page is currently down, but as of the last archive copy I was able to see, the only movie ratings on the account were from 11/8 - 12/6, around the time the new moderators began to take over.

This was really interesting, for obvious reasons. It seems that removing administrators based on alleged Ratehouse comments became a pattern.

And another reference to someone "not knowing their place." An odd reason to remove a wiki moderator. Again, we see the new moderators display a very strict sense of wiki justice and the importance they place on wiki administrator power.

Brazil86 also makes references to a new admin staff being put in place by TwoRatner, who would "debrief them and look them over."

On the link provided to the Oktobmer Ratehouse page, the comment (still up, unlike the Gaycowboyrats Ratehouse page) reads as follows:

This is... deeply suspicious, to say the least. This is the second time that one of the new moderators accused an old moderator of bigotry in comments on Ratehouse, specifically, and used that as a reason that they should be removed.

Then, more information on Brazil86:

Again, deeply suspicious. It seems that at the end of October, a new influx of mods came in, making sweeping changes to the landscape of the wiki before removing old mods and ultimately deleting large parts of the wiki.

Why? Is this related to Brazil86's supposed crime against the new mod team? How does this play into the new mod team's fretting about administrator account security, considering Brazil86 was removing protections from wiki pages?

Then, Emmett provided a link to the Blocked Users page of the wiki (screenshots from time of writing on December 21st, 2023):

The first block to happen after 2022 was on November 4th, 2023, where Brazil86 blocked Oktobmer for a list of problems that included "being unacceptable in terms of behavior on other sites" and "making bad faith assumptions."

After this, more blocks were performed by the new moderator team, with the exception of the blocking of MitchRiot by Gaycowboyrats on November 30th, 2023, days before they were removed.

MitchRiot, whose username is very similar to the MitchRioterer seen in an admin discussion thread (see Part 2) declaring themselves to be in charge now, then going ignored.

A simple troll creating sockpuppets to continue trolling? Maybe. Maybe MitchRiot(erer) is more involved than that. At this point, the only thing I can say for sure about this situation is that it keeps going deeper than I thought.

Unsurprisingly, SudeKK was blocked temporarily after their forum post, though the post itself remains up.

That's the situation as it stands. More could happen, who knows?

Expect the conclusion of my main series on the wiki drama tomorrow, with additional context and notes on the situation as it's changed since I started writing this series <3

TWILIGHT SAVE TS4

Eu procurei por tudo e não achei nenhum save completo de twilight, então eu acabei tendo que criar o meu. Não é todo mundo que gosta de criar save, então decidi disponibilizar o meu pra quem quiser um de twilight e não quer ter que fazer. Eu não criei nenhum dos sims e nenhum dos lotes. São todos de outros criadores, vou ver se consigo juntar todos os nomes deles da galeria do the sims 4, se eu conseguir, estará tudo no final de cada parte, o link para baixar o save estará no final do post.

I just wanted to say my mind on what's going on right now with the Dream SMP. I miss it. I miss the 2021 era. I miss bench trio streams. I miss the beeduo. I miss Technoblade. I miss Tommy's mod videos. I miss old lore streams. I miss the you laugh you lose videos. I miss Niki and Wilbur streams (I do not ship them together I just love their friendship) I hate the fact that all of the is happening. The situation with Wilbur and Shelby. Technoblade is dead. Tommy and Dream might not be friends anymore (I'm not for sure on this one). The dream SMP is gone. I miss the lore streams. I miss when everyone got along, and when everyone was happy and laughing on the dream SMP. I was bawling crying for hours when I heard of what's going on with Wilbur and Shelby...I was also crying because of how everything is changing, in a negative way. I'm also so angry. I hate this. I wish we could go back to 2021 and just stay there. These guys were all my comfort streamers. Now it's fucking gone. I can't take it. I understand that change cannot be stopped, but I wish it didn't get like this. I'm not defending anything terrible that anyone from the SMP has done. I'm not hating on them either. I just miss the old times.. I cried for 2 hours because of everything changing. I hate it. I am just speaking my mind and I hope some other fellow dream SMP fans can agree.

you forget that black kids like emmett till were lynched for something as simple as whistling at a white woman. white women will always weaponize their weakness and use the white patriarchy to punish poc if they even feel threatened. and like I understand the original nonny's sentiment in this case because there's just so much that's unfair about everyone fawning over white women. that's why you got to let poc say stuff like they "hate white women" because that's all we have is our anger sometimes.
