zosan propaganda: their relationship parallels their relationships with the most important people in their lives, the people they each care the most about. kuina and sanji are similar people, and zoro and zeff are similar people.

this results in sanji and zoro pretending to hate each other as affection, something sanji knows REALLY well. however, it's clear they love each other, as sanji has outright put his life in zoro's hands, and zoro has almost died for the crew more times than i can count, but his relationship with sanji is often highlighted in the times where he's closest to death.

i could honestly go on even longer, but my point is that their relationship is absurdly fun and they clearly care a lot about each other.

Personally, I don’t think he needs to eat. I’ve seen him eating power noodles in the game and drinking from a cup while sitting down, so I guess technically canonically he can, but in my opinion those idle animations weren’t meant to be applied to his character, I think it’s a blanket animation for all the NPCs in the area and the devs probably forgot to exclude him in a typical Bethesda moment. If you get the Scrap Everything mod, there are locations in settlements you can mouse over that say things like “NPC lean” and you can scrap the action and NPCs won’t do it there anymore so I think Nick eating and drinking work the same way.

That being said, I think he might still have a sense of taste? Wasn’t there some line with the Bobrov brothers about testing some of their moonshine? I doubt he can get drunk but maybe they wanted him to taste it for them? Idk…

For human Nick, I think he probably liked a good deli sandwich. Something easy to eat but hearty while on a case, maybe a reuben with pickles on the side or something like that. I bet he had been to so many delis around Boston while on various cases that he had a ranking in his head of his favorites.

I think synth Nick has tried to eat things a few times but was disappointed by the experience. Food doesn’t taste the same, and he’s not sure if it’s because of his senses being different as a synth or if radiation did something to the food and changed it. The things he liked to eat aren’t really around anymore, plants and animals gone extinct and certain seasonings too hard to come by. And I think when he eats he can’t really digest it and it mucks him up internally. So he’s given up on food but still misses it sometimes, especially when he sees other people enjoying eating.

(not accusatory in tone) But in what ways does Dropout specifically cater to their loud obnoxious fans? I am a pretty casual D20 fan and only briefly lurked in Dropout’s discord when it existed, but I’ve seen this sentiment a few times now where people say Dropout listens to these fans as opposed to say CR, who has definitely backed out of unmoderated fan spaces. I was curious how Dropout differed (especially as much of their cast seems to use twitter and social media sparingly)?

I believe that the Dropout server's collapse is directly tied to the fact that they never had a "keep it on topic" rule, clumsily tried to implement a "no politics rule", and listened to a loud and unpleasant minority on Twitter who pushed back so hard that they opened up multiple political channels. Their next Discord survey specifically requested (volunteer) mods from specific minority backgrounds, one of which was a group of which I am a part, which was frankly disgusting - like, the reason pretty much any other fan server I've seen has a broad "on topic" policy is because most fan server moderators are like "I can handle making sure people keep it appropriate to a D&D show; I am not prepared to moderate discussion on geopolitics." The fact that the Dropout server's solution was to ask people from minority backgrounds to do this labor was infuriating and I have to admit, had they not shut down the server soon after I'd have at least written an actual letter (well, email) saying that unless they started paying mods, I would cancel my subscription over it. (I did say that I found this wildly inappropriate in the survey).

I also found their mods even before that whole debacle to be grossly incompetent. The biggest example I have in mind is that in The Ravening War, Lou's character Deli was at minimum flirting heavily with his aunt by marriage (and that this was reciprocated) and the mods like...outright said this wasn't happening because it would be icky, in pretty much those words; but this was not an isolated incident.

On the other side, Critical Role has pretty consistently only listened to fans for major missteps (the Wendy's one-shot) and otherwise has stuck to their guns on setting their own timeline and agenda for making or not making political statements, keeping moderated fan spaces on-topic, and also just not giving into fan requests that would require immense and impossible to moderate effort for very limited benefit (the biggest of which is their choice to keep their existing blanket content warning in most situations, despite a similarly small but loud contingent back in early 2021 making a commotion about it).

I think most of the problems with Dropout listening to fans stopped once they made the server read only. I do think that the fandom generally still has some of that problem (there's a zine scene, which I think is great, honestly, but a lot of the people who work on the D20 zines think they're king shit of fuck mountain for doing so) but I no longer think that any representatives of Dropout the company are listening; I think the server led them to learn their lesson.

It’s kind of endearing how he loves the shop as much as he does and he doesn’t even like coffee. Sometimes he’ll be curious about the taste of the various coffees he’s made.

He knows what it’s like to have a messed up order (and misspelled name) so he’s very meticulous with how he serves every order.

When writing a customers name on a cup, he’ll draw little doodles beside it.

Because of his bubbly personality tons of regulars flood the shop whenever he works. If he’s off shift, the shop is ridiculously empty.

His manager makes sure to keep him up front at all times because he brings in good money.

Self explanatory really. Denks is such a dude’s dude he loves all types of games so why not work where he can be surrounded by them all the time?

He works cash and restocks merchandise, games, rentals and such.

When he first realized how broke he was he thought “getting a job” meant he was gonna have to slave away in an office somewhere crunching numbers. Who knew he’d have so much fun at work.

He’s practically best friends with his co-workers… except his discord mod manager. He doesn’t talk to him very much.

He chucks it up with customers who come up to him asking for the latest drops or game recommendations. He knows the ins and outs of their products and always points them in the right direction based on their preferences.

Okay now stay with me, it sounds random as hell to say he’d work at a deli but it makes PERFECT sense.

He’s got skill in the kitchen and I feel like he can make a mean sandwich. Bakugou as a butcher also makes sense.

When he first starts working at the deli, his manager puts him on cashier and he hates it. Having to listen to overly complicated orders drives him batty.

Needless to say, his manager put him in the kitchen after that. And thank god for that because he prefers it in the back anyways.

He secretly loves cooking for people so although he might gripe about an insane amount of pastrami going on one sub, he knows someone will eat well because of his efforts.

Ahhhhhh, so many thoughts; where to begin? Well, first off, they were absolutely childhood friends and were practically attached at the hip for years and years. When they finally started dating around mid to late teens, they literally only changed labels and that was it. After a falling out and a messy breakup (and y'know alador getting married to someone else), it seemed like all was lost. after all, they were desperately trying to lessen contact with stark animosity between them. but after the day of unity, everything changed. with character arcs and divorce papers galore and maybe they began on speaking terms. and then friendly terms. and then back to where they were before, bickering like an old married couple. and then *being* an old married couple. yeah. gotta love the magical slime dilfs ◡̈

Huntlow:

They’re just. SO CUTE!! Hunter develops a crush on Willow first. When they first met, he was just looking to recruit more people into the emperor’s coven, and he thought she and some others would be a good fit. They played flyer derby together (a sport in the demon realm), and it was the first time he’d actually been able to have fun with people his age. His original plan was still in play so Willow and the others on the team got taken and put into custody so they could be put into the emperor’s coven. However, at this point Hunter felt incredibly bad. In the end, he broke the rules and got them out of there. He was prepared to be hated, but Willow and the others forgave him. I think at this point is when he started developing feelings for her. This guy, who talks so much people can see through his disguises because of his voice, will get SO quiet and blushy when she’s nearby. He knew there was an illusion when the illusion acted scared and shy because he saw her as the strong, courageous witch she is. She saw his cringe outfits and cosplay and took a picture for her scrapbook and called it a look. She winked at him and he blushed and smiled this goofy smile. When she finally broke down after trying to keep a brave face for the others, he comforted her. I think somewhere around here she started developing feelings too. They held hands!!! She said “you mean a lot to me too”!!! They mean so much to me.

Raeda:

NONBINARY REPRESENTATION DISABILITY REPRESENTATION TOGETHER AND HAPPY IN THE END They met as kids and got along from the start. They barely knew each other and still defied the orders of a representative of the EMPEROR so they wouldn't fight each other (they literally DANCED on the face of authority together. They eventually became lovers and broke up. Many years later found each other again and still loved each other so so much. I'm gonna repeat myself, but a disabled, chronically ill character and a nonbinary carachter have a friends to lovers story with a happy ending in a DISNEY ANIMATION. What else could you want?

Getting Back to Normal

Good evening, friends. I believe that my hiatus will be over, and I will return to creating remodels for The Sims 2. I did play a little tonight, but more so to get my CC folder in order. So many creations and so little texture resources. I have come to the conclusion that I will have to keep my favorite parts of every set I have downloaded and there are many. I have so many favorite content creators and right now it's mostly object downloads. Hair and clothing will be next, but once I get this all together, I will definitely create a backup because going on downloading sprees does take up a lot of time and space LOL. Every time I see something I like I will download it and try it out in my game. Then I will make sure that all the files are in lower case except for mods. Anyway, I thought I would share some screen shots of one of my favorite lots. It's the Smelly Deli by @plumbtales. Since I will be working on remodels and adding CC to my CC free lots (these will not be uploaded at this time), I probably will put my Sims Stories on hold. It's still pretty early in the game I might start over again with the same setup I have after adding CC. Not sure yet. But for now, I will have fun, with makeovers and share photos of my CC free lots with CC 👻. For now here is the Smelly Deli with some CC additions and a few changes. More Career Tracks for Sims 4

FACTORY, FAST FOOD, GROCERY, CUSTODIAN AND EDUCATION CAREER TRACKS

I make these mods for my own games. I’m not interested in taking new requests for future career mods at the moment.

Information about career levels, requirements and hours here

Factory, Fast Food, Custodian and Education career tracks are base game only. Grocery Career pack requires Seasons Expansion Pack due to the flower arranging skill in the Floral Branch.

Factory: The full time position contains 3 branches. Management, Product Designer and Undecided.

Fast Food: Full time, No branches but has 11 levels.

Grocery: Full time contains 9 branches which are Bakery and Deli, Barista, Floral, Guest Services, Overnight Inventory and Pharmacy which are full time. A part time job as a Courtesy Clerk for an Am and Pm shift. And past time overnight stocking. Your sim will go to “Orientation” and after that you can choose the branch you would like your sim to work in.

Custodian: 32 hours a week 3 branches (1st, 2nd and 3rd shift) has 7 levels. Your sim will go to the “Interview” and decided what shift to work that way

Education: Full time, 8 branches and 4 levels. Your sim will go to orientation and choose a branch in what they would like to teach.

So, it's been a while since the end of TRW and I still don't understand why people went (and still go) "they clarified that Deli's lover is not his aunt" like, who's "they" bc the only "they" who said that are the Discord mods, who are not in the production, and the mods didn't "clarify", they claimed there were two women in the Enzo Carbano scene when there is no evidence, and the mods never confirmed anything, they said they were not sure.

And it's really weird the fandom has a persistent "they confirmed that was a mistake" without, like, anyone remembering that that came from people who aren't actually on the production outright speculating.

And it's trivial bc it ultimately doesn't matter. But the sticking point here for me is that people keep saying it authoritatively when, like, it didn't happen?
