After much consideration between me and @joen-lenawley, we have decided to kick @buzzshaws off of our team due to the fact she supports/condones ships that are considered problematic, such as craftcest, Toodles x Rodger, and Pebble x Toodles. We hope everyone understands that this may create some delays and problems in the future.

Randomly remembering a time I tried a sample of bread at a really fancy grocery store and I was like, "Oh wow, that's yeasty"

And the bakery girl was like, "Actually, no, there's no yeast in it. It's sourdough"

And I was already anxious because this place was too fancy for me already and now I felt like an idiot for saying something so clearly wrong

But you know what?

It is years later and I wish I could stomp back into that store and find the same bakery person and scream in their face because

could you talk about thoughts you have on the ship caruso x buzz please?

Gladly! Thanks for asking!

First off, I'm pretty up front about the fact that Buzz and Caruso are my favorite characters, so that might color my opinion of this ship just a bit. I don't really ship it myself, tbh, but I don't do ship hate, and I'm really good at finding reasons to like things. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be in the Dino Squad fandom lol.

With that out of the way, my thoughts on the ship itself.

Caruso is kind of a snooty character. He cares a lot about his appearance, he likes to be clean, and although he doesn't seem to get grossed out much, it's clear that creepy-crawlies aren't really his thing. Buzz, on the other hand, loves creepy-crawlies. He loves bugs, and snakes, and spiders and lizards, and aside from enjoying a punk aesthetic, he doesn't seem all that invested in his physical appearance. (In fact, his character design in the show makes him look like just about the laziest punk on earth—all his effort goes into the mohawk, and everything else is bare minimum punk lol.)

That's just a really long winded way of saying Buzz x Caruso is a prep/punk ship, which definitely holds some appeal in and of itself.

It's been a while since I watched the show so take this bit with a grain of salt, but two Buzz and Caruso scenes that have stuck with me are in S2E10 "Scents and Scents Ability", where the two of them go to the spa together; and S2E12 "Perseverance", where Buzz needs to learn etiquette for some fancy dinner he needs to attend (I think for a college scholarship but I don't remember for sure) so Caruso takes it upon himself to teach him—complete with dance lessons iirc.

Their relationship isn't as close on-screen as Buzz and Fiona's friendship or Rodger and Max's... whatever they've got going on, but they definitely have their moments.

basically all you need to know is home alone 4 is not canon because it says kevin is 9 but implies that the events of home alone 2 have happened where kevin is 10. that and it also tries to imply that marv is straight. and it mixes up which of the two is marv. and none of the original actors came back. therefore home alone 4 is an alternate universe. it can be assumed the events of home alone 1-3, holiday heist, and home sweet home alone are in the same universe.

my point being don't let him into the bracket period because we don't know what became of him in the home alone universe and he's a cameo appearance. you'd be judging him on material that isn't in home alone 2 and that feels like cheating. and also they released the cut where he's replaced by heavy TF2 which is the more canon cut. https://www.youtube.com/watchv=WfaGEj5sYgg

this absolute dickhead is so mean to kevin and ate ALL of his pizza. ALL of it. and then proceeded to get kevin home, ALONE. it's HIS fault. and then in home alone 2 he ruins the choir show by messing with Kevin. and they let him get away with it. and he's only thankful to Kevin when he gets him out of florida. but you know what the worst of it is? in home alone 6/home sweet home alone, he becomes a TIMESKIP COP
