Work was absolutely exhausting.

Mind draining. Everyone was complaining about the smallest of things to you and today just wasn’t the day to deal with it.

You had some customers yell in your face due to a small mistake made by one of your coworkers, and honestly it’s just draining you by completely. It makes you wanna break down in tears due to how exhausted you are.

The drive home was no help. If anything it made it worse due to the traffic to get to your shared apartment with your boyfriend. You just wanted to see him and feel comforted by his touch and words.

The moment you got home, opened the door you felt the tears starting to prick at your eyes causing the stinging sensation to build up.

Doyoung, hearing you come home, gets off of the couch and makes his way towards you. Happy to see that you’re home from work. He stops midway on his way towards you. Seeing the exhausted look on your face told him everything he needed to know.

Quickly making his way towards you, he wrapped his arms around you and squeezed you tightly. Assuring you that he is here right now. Just for you.

His scent and the feeling of his arms around you caused you to break down in tears in his arms, as you held him just as tightly.

Doyoung lets you release everything that was building up inside of you as he runs his arms up and down your back.

Once you felt yourself come down, you whipped the stray tears away with the back of your hand, and let out a sadden chuckle. “I’m sorry, I don’t know why I’m being like this.” You said with a smile that didn’t reach your eyes while more tears fall down your eyes. “How was your day Doi?”

Doyoung shakes his head towards you as he placed his hands gently on your face and rubbed at your wet cheeks. “This isn’t about me right now. It’s about you.” He said as he gave you a heart warming smile, that you swore was about to make you cry again. “We’re going to forget everything that happened today and let this moment be a calm, and better moment.” He said as he softly took hold of your hand and guided you towards your shared bathroom.

“I’m going to run you a bath.” He says but frowns his eyebrows slightly at the look on your face. “I’m not taking no for an answer y/n. You deserve this moment after the day you just had. Okay?” He said as he gently took hold of your face once again.

“Okay…” you said below a whisper as the lump in your throat wouldn’t let you speak any higher without wanting to cry in relief.

“Good. This is your moment to stay still and just be you baby.” Doyoung said as he turned around and started to run warm water for you. “I love you, okay? I want the absolute best for you and this relationship. Especially when you’re feeling like this.” He says as he placed a tender kiss on the top of your head.

“Thank you so much Doi, and I love you too.” You said with a small smile on your face.

A wide, gummy smile takes hold of Doyoung’s face as he stands by the door. Giving you, your much needed space for right now.

“While you’re taking your bath, I’m going to order your favorite takeout. Then when you’re out we’ll eat and find something to watch. Does that sound good?” Doyoung said.

“Sounds perfect. Thank you.” You said with a delighted sigh when your hand touched the warm, awaiting water.

“Great! I’ll see you soon baby. Take your time.” Doyoung says as he closes the bathroom door slightly to give you your privacy.

You couldn’t more than grateful for having someone like Doyoung in your life. Nothing could change the fact that he knows you better than anyone else could ever.

You thank your lucky stars for Doyoung, as you leaned your back against the tub’s wall and just let everything that happened sink into the warm water and wash away. This is your calm and still moment, and nothing was going to take away from it.

I headcanon that Nanami, while less vocal about it, loves Satoru with his entire being. Just like with everything he does, he puts his all into loving him. you can see it in the small things he does for Satoru. knowing he will never understand the weight and pressure he feels daily, but knowing that just being near Satoru is enough. giving him encouragement when he doubts himself, and telling him the hard things he needs to hear in a way he knows Satoru will receive it.

every mission Nanami returns from he opens the door with a small souvenir bag in hand with a new sweet he knows Satoru has never tried. and while Nanami is not huge on sweets, for Satoru he will sit and try them with him. Satoru likes to hear him rate the little treat, or do that thing where he stops mid chew to crinkle his nose and grunt when he doesn't particularly care for the taste.

for the ones Satoru is fond of, Nanami will take a mental note because he absolutely is going to learn to make them for his love. there are so many times Satoru has stumbled upon Nanami whisking eggs in his apron calmly staring at his phone, eyes darting across the screen as he reads a recipe. chocolate croissants, mochi ice cream, milk tea of all flavors with extra boba. Satoru is spoiled when it comes to homemade sweet treats made with all the love in the world. A/N: Thank you for the request! 

 🦋- It was a rainy night were you ran away from your ex who cheated on you. You walked in on them kissing another person. 

🦋- The thing that made you most sad however was that they didn’t even try to cover up what they did. They just coninued on. 

🦋- So with tears in your eyes you ran away. You ran, ran and ran. 

🦋- Finally your body couldn’t run anymore and you found a bench. Not caring it was wet you just wiped it and sat down looking down at the ground. Soon the tears began to spill and you cried.

🦋- After you calmed down you just sat there and stared at the ground. 

🦋- Suddenly you heard some footsteps walking towards you but you didn’t care so you just continued to lookd down at the ground

🦋- “Ara? I thought I was gonna be alone! Guess not!” You knew it was a girl by their voice but didn’t bother to look up. 

🦋- She sat down next to you but too close for your comfort so you scooted away. 

🦋- “Oh? I’m so sorry! Hope I didn’t make you uncomfortable!” You ignored her

🦋-  “You know it’s rude not to respond when someone’s talking to you” You got annoyed by her. 

🦋- You brought out your phone to check it and saw that your ex blocked you. They had blocked you on all socials too.

🦋- Cursing under your breath and trying to ignore the matter you leaned back on the bench, letting the phone lit up your face. 

🦋- That’s when Shinobu saw how much you have cried before she came. She felt really bad. Despite you ignoring her

🦋- Finally you closed your phone and moments later your stomach began to grumble. You hadn’t eaten anything the whole evening. 

🦋- “Hm? You’re hungry?” You heard her shuffle around with some stuff and curiosity got the better of you so you looked at her and saw her taking up some mochis. They looked really good but taking food from strangers can be dangerous.

🦋- “I’m good” You said and pushed the mochi away from her. 

🦋- “It’s not poisonous if that’s what you’re worried about” Shinobu sighed out and took a bite. Looking at her eating the mochi looked so good you began to have trouble resisting. 

🦋- After she was done eating the mochi she licked the flour that was stuck on her mouth. 

🦋- “Are you sure you’re not hungry?” She asked and you were about to say no before your stomach betrayed you and grumbled. “I think you’re stomach says otherwise” You gave her a side glare. 

🦋- “Ok fine” She smiled at you as she gave you a strawberry mochi. It was really good and you couldn’t help to smile a bit. 

🦋- “It’s really good” You said and Shinobu gave you a closed eyed smile

🦋- Moments later you still felt hungry. One mochi won’t be enough so you began to fiddle around in your seat. 

🦋- “C-can I have another mochi?” You asked, looking away from her as she gave it to you. You ate that one too and felt a bit more full. 

🦋- Again moment of silence filled the air and you feeling the need of comfort on what happened earlier you decided to suck it up and “vent” a bit to the stranger. 

🦋- “Okay so uhm..” Shinobu turned to you with a curious expression. “My partner who I have been with for 3 years cheated on me. They were kinda making out in front of me” You gave out a dry laugh and a forceful smile. Shinobu instantly felt bad for you. Despite your cold treatment to her earlier she still thinks you’re not one to deserve such treatment.

🦋- “Oh I see” She said and you nodded in response.

🦋- Shinobu decided to try the water so she scooted closer to you and patted your back. You gave her a small smile but then went back to sulking. Shinobu frowned. She cannot let you feel this way! 

🦋- “You know?“ You looked up at her. “There’s some very good restaurant not so far away from here. Maybe you wanna go?” Your eyes widened. “It’s fine! I’ll treat you! You have been through enough sad stuff for today! And we’re already soaking wet right now” 

🦋- “Oh no no that’s too much! You already gave me two mochis and-” You tried to turn down her offer but to no avail. 

🦋- “Please I insist!” You thought about it and nodded. 

🦋- “I’ll just pay her back some way” You thought. 

🦋- “Great! Now let’s go!” Before you could even do anything she grabbed your hand and pulled you along with her. You felt your cheeks heat up at the contact. But then you smiled running along with her.

You swear you’re not going insane… 

I mean, you think you’re seeing his face everywhere you go but…how can that possibly be happening when you’ve been seeing him in your dreams.  

You were walking down the street when you could’ve sworn you saw him. He even smiled at you! But when you turned around to see if it was him, he wasn’t there anymore.  

Not wanting to think about it anymore, you quickly made your way home.  

You felt your breastbone move up and down hastily as you got behind your closed apartment door. Locking it as if he followed you back home.  

It’s just your figment of imagination… 

You said to yourself as you placed a hand on your chest to calm down your ragged breathing.  

You walk towards your living room. Placing your bag onto the coffee table before you threw yourself onto the couch, covering your eyes as you tried to think of anything expect of him.  

After a while you feel yourself falling asleep. You know you shouldn’t fall asleep especially with not eating or cleaning yourself up, but you were extremely tired, and you couldn’t hold back the pull that sleep was giving you.  

Without any fight, you fall asleep.  

As darkness wrapped around you, you felt completely at ease until warm hands started to glide gently around your body. It was almost as if they weren’t there.  

Almost.  

You felt yourself jolt awake and look above you where you can see the owner of the hands.  

“YOU!” You screamed out as you pushed yourself to the other end of the couch.  

The look of being caught off guard was on the mysterious man’s face as he looked at you. A small blush heated his face, but he recovered quickly in the blink of an eye, as if he wasn’t fazed at all.  

“Hello.” He said with a soft expression that you knew it was all an act.  

“Who are you? Actually—“you said as you have him a suspicious glance as you narrowed your eyes. “—what are you?”  

A smirk broke out on his face. “Well first off my name is Hendery.” He said as he gave you a mocked bow. “And I’m an incubus.”  

“That makes sense.”  

“I’m here to eat away at your— what?” The demon named Hendery said as he gave you a confused look with a tilt of his head.  

“Well…it just makes sense. Like you’re only supposed to be around me in my dreams, but I see you everywhere. Which is honestly unheard of for an incubus.”

“I-I am.” He said flustered that you teased him. 

“Awe! That’s so cute!” You gushed at him as you went over to where he was and pinched his cheeks.  

A gasp resounds out of him as he slaps your hand away from his cheek. “Woman!” 

“Hey! Don’t be rude.” You pouted as you gave him an accusing look.  

“I am a demon! I’m not cute, nor do you need to pinch my cheek!” he huffs as he crosses his hands over his chest.  

An amused chuckle escapes you before you can conceal it. 

"Why are you laughing?" Hendery whined as he gave you a look that you swore seemed he was going to cry.  

"I'm not just..." you trailed off as you felt another laugh bubbling up and trying to escape your throat. "it's just it's hard to believe that you're an incubus when you act the way you do." you said as you felt a giggle escape.  

"I think it gives me personality." He said with a shrug.  

"Right...personality." you mumbled as you gave him a teasing smile.  

"Well, this personality got to fuck you so." He said as a smirk as he watched the way your face flushed at what he said.  

"I— you know what, get out."  

"Get out?" Hendery laughed as he placed a hand on his hand as if mocking offense. "Baby, you're stuck with me." He says as he gives you a devilish smirk.  

"Stuck with you? How?"  

"That's just how us incubus work princess." Hendery teased as he gave you a mocked look of sympathy.  

"Do I gotta get a witch in here to get you out of my life? Like I didn't ask for an incubus to come into my life." you said as you took hold of your phone and started to look into how you can get this man — well demon out of your life permanently.  

"Hate to break it to you princess but you're the one that summoned me here."  

"I— I did what?" you asked. There was no way this was true. How is it possible that you're the one that summoned him. This must be some sort of demon trick. "You're lying to me."  

"Demon don't lie. We speak the truth sweetheart." He said with an unreadable expression.  

"But you spin the truth..."  

"Always." He said with a smirk on his face.  

"So, I'm stuck with you then?"  

"That you are princess." He said as he gave you a smirk. 

Seeing the way the demon named Hendery looked at you right now, how are you not going to feel insane knowing that you have a demon companion?
