THIS POST IS ME TALKING A LOT ABOUT SOME STUPID SHIT FROM A YEAR AGO. cws for discussions of sexual assault, pregnancies and abortions. its been about a year since i first wrote & published "and to the weaver maid lend your dress tonight". that was perhaps one of the most cathartic fics i had ever written, maybe one of the most cathartic i ever will write. i havent talked about it much here, but among friends im pretty open about the fact ive experienced sexual assault, not just as a child but as a teenager and young adult. imagine my surprise when a friend of mine DM's me, tells me "actually writing about rape in any context at all whatsoever is a moral wrong and youre a pedo rape fetishist for posting this" immediately after i had said "well i was raped as a teenager so i like to explore themes of assault & recovery", and then blocking me before i can even recover from the concussion-inducing blow that was that message. then i was excommunicated from an entire friend group but whatever. i just want to be like. okay. i want to say i get it. man, if i saw a fic with the tags "weaver maid" had from a total stranger, i probably wouldnt click it because i wouldnt trust that they were handling the subject in a way that wasnt weird voyeuristic trauma porn. but if i knew someone for 10+ years and they posted something like that i would go well, when im in the right space to read about that, ill check it out. or just talk to them myself one on one like hey can i get a lowdown on the details of whats happening here so i know what to expect haha. like just a thought. what really gets me is that a kenjaku rper told me themes of SA in any media is bad. a kenjaku rper. kenjaku. patron saint of sex crimes kenjaku. kenjaku who forcefully impregnated chosos mother multiple times and forced her to undergo just as many abortions. that kenjaku. was it because i had mahito assault yuuji?? mahito??? who do you think would teach mahito, a curse, about human concepts of consent and sexual boundaries? do you think kenjaku would do that. do you think kenjaku told mahito rape is bad. do you think mahito, whos entire thing is to warp peoples souls and twist their physical bodies beyond recognition, would care. anyway. that was crazy.

Toram Online

Man, I just suddenly remembered how I tried playing Toram Online before. It was the only JMMORPG I've ever played. The game was aesthetically pleasing; you can take pictures, do different poses and make memories everywhere you go across the map. The lore, fighting styles and the customization were all very great as well. Overall great game in my opinion.

Alright first post featuring my dinos!

Dinosaur: Alioramus

(Featuring his mate, Faline)

River's Story: Ashfall's Pack of Organized Crime

River was orphaned as a Juvenile. He was hatched into the intense summer heat. The season was particularly dry. Most of the pack he hatched into didn't make it. Those that did had left to find water.

River was alone.

He waited in his nest, calling pitifully for his parents until thirst pulled him from his sanctuary as well.

Travelling alone, he learned early on that other creatures weren't his friends. That is, until he found her.

Another alio chick. A female. He approached cautiously, inspecting her. When he was sure she wouldnt hurt him, he became excited. Eagerly playing with her in his joy. Her name was Faline.

Their play was short lived, however. Another creature, much larger than the two of them, has decided that they were dinner.

A Yutyrannus. River was panicked, seeing it run towards them. He called out in alarm to warn her and she seemed to get the message. The two of them ran, but there was no visible cover for them.

They were clever though. Both having been alone, they learned some tricks.

Both juveniles dodged and distracted until thr Yutyrannus could chase no longer. Seeing their chance, they both took off away from it.

They survived the encounter, and rested together. This would be thr beginning of an unbreakable bond.

Not long after this, tgey found two more juvenile alioramus. Their names were Velvet and Gravity.

The four grew together. They cared for each other and played together.

When River came of age, he immediately began courting Faline. Gifting her items that were as beautiful as she was. This being butterflies and flowers. She accepted each one. The two of them running to play with each gift. After which they would spend ample time resting and grooming each other.

At this time, another male joined their group. A melanistic one named Viago.

Faline found a cave that she guided River to a cave, where she settled to lay a single egg.

When it hatched , River and Faline doted on the chick. Giving him all the love that they never had the chance to receive. The chick's name was Arson. And with Arson, a new pack was born onntge shores of Ashfall.

Mafia Pack.

After this, the pack thrived. Keeping close bonds through playing, hunting, and resting together. They learned to work together and became strong as River and Faline learned to lead. They would go on to accept many new members into their pack. The following year, Falije would produce a pair of eggs, which hatched two girls. Giving the pack strength and hope for their future.

Thinking about that Catly game announced at the game awards and wondering who it's even for. The commitment to AAA realism seems like it's a huge and unnecessary expense for something that's trying to appeal to the virtual pet niche, where we kickstart new projects for well under a million dollars and our pets are 200px square PNGs.

The only time other characters can move just a little bit is when they're in dialogue, so I can only take screenshots instead of using the photo mode. But I will still try anyway.

I mained Vane and then Id previously, and let me tell you, it is so painful that Siete does not have a skill-to-finisher link. This man is dependent on his avatar for damage, but damn if the devs make it painfully slow to build avatar gauge.

Also accidentally cancelling his avatar! With all the visual vomit, it's hard to tell if he summons it or does a finisher sometimes, so I'll buffer Y, and augh! Unsummon! My swordshine stacks! Why didn't they make it hold Y to unsummon?

He's flashy and a bit technical and I love him anyway, so I'll still be playing him, but he definitely needs some QoL and balance adjustments. If nothing else, change how to unsummon the avatar auuuggghhh.

Also this game made it canon that his AU Absolutist/Nihilist version talks to him in his head, and that's so fucking amazing. I foresee eventual confrontation in the mobage, and it will be glorious.

I think one of the things ESO does right is bringing back random shit from pre-oblivion TES games, like dungeons from Arena or beasts from the fucking Nokia mobile games
