You say "the sims community" but you seem to forget that you are also telling Jewish people to "do better" on how we react to things. Jewish simmers aren't even included in this apology.

What I can't get over, is how you said you were seeking to make better representation by re-coding the menorah to light properly, and then put it behind a paywall. You understood how it was important to fix that and then you put it behind a paywall.

I want to see people make change and take accountability. I was reading this with an open mind and hoping for accountability, but the majority of this apology is about all the special work you did and not about why what you did was wrong. I don't understand authenticity keys and I'm not going to pretend to, but I agree with others that there were other ways to share it, OR you could have explained this issue outright!

You've been in this community long enough to know that people don't like paywalled content. It's still very hard for me to believe that you did not understand that you were paywalling underrepresented content, when you were clearly seeking to make said underrepresented content.

I do not fully blame people for not reading your full statement because an apology does not start with turning the mirror on who you're apologizing and making a "we can do better" section to it.

And on a personal fucking note: Every time I fruitlessly looked for Hanukkah stuff in the several stores I went to, I thought about your shitty ass paywalling. When I saw how there was no Hanukkah display AT ALL this year at tj Maxx and I had to scour the place for one single pair of earrings, I thought about your shitty ass paywalling. And when I travel an hour away tomorrow, just to get some fucking gelt and some stupid napkins, guess what I'm going to be thinking off??

As some of you know, I've shared that both my dogs passed away this year from cancer. So I wanted to share again that we've adopted this sweet boy, Popcorn! He arrives with his rescue's transport on the 16th!!!! 😊🐶

Y'all sincerely lack critical thinking. Why are you fighting the battles for someone who is actively hiding from accountability????? She isn't cancelled she's doing just fine tricking people into thinking she's someone else. People have fucked up on here before and have taken accountability for their actions and are doing just fine too, except they're actually doing something right. She deleted her apology and is hiding what happened. How is she sorry????? How is she learning and growing????

It's not rocket science. If you are willingly in a racist server, enabling and comforting racists, you are also racist. 2+2=4. Being in racist and bullying server isn't a mistake or a misstep, it's an active choice. I don't understand why y'all act like it is harmless to be a bystander and like they're somehow a victim of the space THEY CHOSE TO BE IN.

Black simmers have been repeating themselves over and over again that 1. what she did isn't nothing, 2. She isn't holding accountability for herself in any way, and 3. she is basically using black sims as props after being criticized for not having any for years. (This is not just my own observation. It was rightly brought up by black simmers first.)

Also, I see several of my mutuals in the likes of this dumbass post. If you accidentally liked it or didn't understand what this was about, tell me then, otherwise I'm unfollowing you because it's getting pathetic of how some of you will ride or die for someone who obviously does not care instead of just listening to black simmers.

i wasn't gonna address this because the whole thing is just a weird flex imo and i don't deal in drama on this blog. but the more i think about it, i realize i do want to make a comment.

i judge people based on the behavior i personally see from them (and receipts where they're available). otherwise, we're going on rumors and we're too old for that. everyone makes mistakes, bad judgement calls, and associates with folks they later regret when we realize our morals don't align with theirs. some things are unforgivable, yes, but the majority of mistakes can be corrected and learned from.

anon, don't come into my askbox telling me who i should and should not support when said person has addressed your comment several times and shown remorse on their own blog. i don't play this "cancelled forever" game because we all fuck up at one time or another, and the content of someone's character is more about their ability to learn, grow, and become a better person. otherwise, wtf is the point of shaming someone to death?

Y'know I'm reblogging this again. It is incredibly selfish to use "personal reasons" (money) as an excuse to not divest from a country's economy that is enacting genocide. Patreon is an option, ko-fi is an option. You make good content and there are plenty of people who pay for early access content.

But instead you understand what you are doing is wrong, and continue to do it anyways because it benefits you personally. It benefits you at the cost of Palestinian lives and you know that.

Maybe I don't care to ever download from you ever again and maybe you just block me. But people are going to download from curseforge anyways, either because they aren't on simblr or don't care or whatever, so I'm STILL asking you to remove your content from curseforge. Hello. I understand your point. I have already thought about this subject, I have my opinion on it and I do not intend to discuss it. Unfortunately, things will continue as they are.
