what beautiful episode!!!! i think it'll be one of my favorites! The first half was peak comedy scene after scene 😭😭 had me cackling while washing dishes in my dorm's common kitchen

And the second half was just so so sweet. the two friends coming in-phase after being out of phase for years! Just like seung hyo and seokryu.

Hye suk was always the more mature one. I've been very public about my dislike for misuk. Maybe because i see a lot of similarities between hye suk and seok ryu....and me? But i really appreciate how you can really care for a friend who you don't see eye to eye with. They bicker and envy, but in the end, they circle back to each other, like a binary star system. Friendship is just such a blessing to have in life.

There was SO MUCH in this episode that i loved. Yeon du and her wisdom beyond her age, her aggressive approval for mo eum. The dads being absolute dorks and adorable to the power infinity. The girl from 10 years ago who revisits geun sik's restaurant by chance and gives him closure and reminds him how much of a difference his food and his kindness made to people, even if they didn't mean much to him. I truly hope that seok ryu takes over the restaurant and seung hyo renovates it and geun sik's passion for cooking and feeding people lives on in seok ryu. The old lady marveling at the window and saying "id be able to live now." Oh man. I choked up. And seokryu's proposal 🥺 seunghyo gets to eat rainbows forever 🥺😭 im not crying you're crying 😭😭😭😭😭

And the funny funny bits. Seung hyo climbing to seok ryu's room to see her, teasing her about calling him 자기야. The vegetable fight!!! Jae suk and in suk locking the other two and telling them to pee in the chamber pot 😭😭 the dads finding ways to drink together in the middle of the cold (hot?) war. Danho and seunghyo's awkward af fist bump and seokryu's reaction 😭😭😭😭 i mean, i could go on and on and on!!

As i said before i think this is gonna be one of my favorite episodes and that's saying something, because there have been SO MANY! Ah, im gonna miss this show SO BAD. Jung hae in's beautiful face and his beautiful acting, jung so Min's impeccable comic timing and crackheadery, the wholesomeness of the whole cast...all of it. I'll miss alllll of it.

Love Playlist 3 Review (Spoiler Free)

Please, please, please let Hyun Seung and Ji Won never see each other again... I don’t want them in the next season.

The drama is about a few university students, their friendship and specifically ups and downs with relationships or friendships they’re having.

My review on season two: Love Playlist 2 (I’m sorry I don’t have a review for the first season as I didn’t have this tumblr at that point)

I think for me this season was the most exciting one and it’s because they kept focusing on Hyun Seung and Ji Won.

They’re not bad as a couple but I felt annoyed by the on and off relationship they had and I couldn’t really care for them much. They also have pretty similar storyline to the second season and sometimes it felt like I had a deja vu.

I think other couples, should have had more screentime.

I would have loved to see the shy couple Jun Mo and Do Young, they’re very sweet with each other but we only had one episode dedicated for them???

A two set of people were introduced this season, two besties Pu Reum and Ha Neul which I was also excited to see and one of the biggest reasons why I’ll watch the 4th season.

As a friend I think Min Woo is forgotten a lot of times and Jae In also had one episode to her...

I named all of the main characters and I definitely think they deserve more screen time than the on and off couple and their love triangle.

The plot wise this season followed the same pattern, telling one short story from the perspective of that person.

The system is kind of simple but it gets us to have cute episodes with a short quote at the end that might be relatable to some.

Overall, I will continue with the next season but I wish to see other couples having a great time in their lives and less of you know who by now...

It is a cute short drama, so if you want something about love, something that might bring you small happiness this can be for you... Though sometimes, I found it boring, but it’s not like I can relate to any of them.

REVIEW: 

Gil Boksoon is one of the top killers at an 'assassin agency' in Korea. She tries to balance her murder contracts with raising her rebellious teenage daughter. Whilst the action sequences are reminiscent of John Wick there is enough interaction between mother and daughter to engage the audience and set this aside from just being a capricious action film. There are suitable references between Gil's childhood and her teen daughter Jaeyoung to see that the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. 

There are great action sequences such as the initial confrontation on Seoul’s Dongha Bridge and the Vladivostok saloon to name a few, and you'd think that the last thing we need is another John Wick wannabe, but there is enough substance to make it stand apart from the crowd and hold its head up high.

there wasn't anything in particular that he imagined, or even hoped for, as ji-eun wasn't after his father's affection or even public recognition. he just wanted to benefit from their name—to live as them without the cameras or the media following every detail of their life. if anything, it was convenient for everyone that he stayed in the shadows, considering what he did for a living.

"i'm sure i can persuade him." came ji-eun's response in his characteristic nonchalant attitude. just as he did with seung-jae, he would do with his father if he decided to make things difficult for the two of them. "i'm sure he'd like to keep his first son safe." the likely heir of everything he owned. his entire legacy would fall onto seung-jae's shoulders, so wouldn't it be smart to look after them, then? "problem will be, how much to tell him about your relation with mo." a relationship that remained mostly unknown to him, but one he could suspect that was filled with a side of seung-jae that was better kept away from the public. why else would she target him as well? sooner or later, ji-eun would find out what happened between them—whether this was through mo's mouth or sheer speculation. the other could forget all about having a private life for as long as ji-eun was present.

by the time he was done dressing, it would be him the one to look for his brother by knocking on the bathroom door. his body leaned to the side, resting his weight against the door frame. "feeling okay, big brother?"

"I'm not really interested in your profession, and clearly you not either." Considering he sought more in his life, proper enrichment, that could be only done with an unholy amount of money. "..." Of course, Ji-eun's skill may help him to feel a bit safer, considering Mo's plans, but what could a single man do, if that bitch managed to get a mafia boss on her side, when he had understood that part right. He felt so sick, he almost wanted to throw up. His peaceful life suddenly took an even bigger turn and there seemed to be no way out, unless he got rid of that woman.

"Clearly caring after all," Seung-Jae huffed. "I really don't know how you imagine it ... but I've to await father's decision anyway..." Revealing his obedience towards him, though inwardly he was already imagining how things were supposed to go from now on. Maybe he could give Ji-eun a car or two, some fancy house somewhere, and the idiot would be happy and wasting his money on whatever hobbies he had.

He would glare at him, when he got out, of course that idiot would try to listen. Of course, he had to fulfill the cliche of the little annoying brother. He was so useless. The information about this mafia boss was not leaving his mind. He was already as good as dead the more he thought about it. That he was still alive only promised a worse ending. Their whole group was fucked, but he liked to think, that Mo's hate was mostly directed towards Sara. The bit teasing he did, was she really ... ? In the end... Ji-eun might as well steal his place completely, in the worst case. Ji-eun's comment fell on deaf ears, as Seung-Jae had left the room for the bathroom, leaning over the toilet as he emptied his stomach. The last bit was spit out, before flushing the toilet, but not moving an inch. "..." He did not know what to do. That woman was after blood and not money.

Man To Man

Perchè le garanzie sono importanti

Nel visionare questa serie ho fatto 3 errori: 

Il primo è stato credere che Big Boss da Descendants of the sun partecipasse a questa serie inondando tutto di magnificenza come solo lui sa fare. Ed invece fa solo un cameo. #metristissima 

PS: usare Big Boss solo per i cameo dovrebbe essere impedito dalla legge. Fortunamente non c’è Big Boss ma ben 2 attori da Live...vi si perdona.

Il secondo errore è stato credere che la serie fosse incentrata su i due protagonisti che collaborano attivamente su campo per tutta la serie. 

Ed il terzo è stato aver pensato che Man to Man fosse un drama spy con momenti comedy..quando invece è l’incontrario. O meglio... la serie mi è parsa divisa strutturalmente in due fasi: tutta la prima metà più commedia che spionaggio. Mentre da metà in poi la commedia passa più in secondo piano, concentrandosi sulla storia d’azione. Il risultato che ho percepito e di cui sono d’accordo con @veronica-nardi è stato di guardare due serie tv diverse. Purtroppo non sono un amante di tale strutturazione perchè mi si crea la percezione di un equilibrio sballato.

Metto subito le mani avanti dicendo che se la parte più leggera non mi ha mai fatto morire - anche se ha avuto momenti molto divertenti e che ho adorato - la seconda parte della serie è dove il drama è riuscito veramente ad intrattenermi. Tutta l’ultima parte mi regala esattamente quello che volevo! 

Tuttavia le due parti non sono esenti da difetti: la parte spy è spesso poco chiara con personaggi che fanno o dicono cose che non si sa come o da chi lo abbiano saputo. Mentre la parte comedy nella seconda parte, mi hanno spinto a chiedermi l’utilità di certi personaggi. 

Molto buona la caratterizzazione dei personaggi e la loro recitazione con la mia Palma D’oro che va rispettivamente a Park Sung-Woong con il suo Yeo Woon-Gwang, Yeon Jeong-Hun nei panni della VERO IDOLO DI QUESTA SERIE  Mo Seung-Jae e  Chae Jung-An con Song Mi-Eun. Questi tre sono i personaggi che più mi sono piaciuti, con cui ho più empatizzato e di cui ho seguito le vicende con più attenzione. 

Un pò meno attenzione me l’hanno data gli altri due protagonisti e la storia d’amore. Quest’ultima l’ho trovata ripetitiva - pure la OST nelle scene romantiche era sempre la stessa @veronica-nardi - e noiosa. Mentre il protagonista - molto gnocco non c’è che dire - per me poteva essere approfondito molto meglio. 

VOTO: 7 =

La prima cosa che voglio dire è fare i complimenti alla serie per i personaggi di contorno: il padre della protagonista, l’altro Agente Fantasma, la stilista amica della moglie dei Signor Mo...tutti personaggi minori ma che la serie si è impegnata a caratterizzare e tenere sullo schermo. Non è una cosa facile con tutti i personaggi da gestire che avevano già! 

Il secondo “complimenti” lo voglio fare al Colpone di Scena Finale sulla rivelazione del Direttore del NIS come spia e dell’organizzazione corrotta di cui quest’uomo fa parte..non me l’aspettavo ed è stato una bella sorpresa..anche ben programmata. D’altronde qualche episodio prima mi stavo lamentando che questa serie era la prima serie d’azione che vedevo senza nessun colpo di scena. Ebbene si...prima degli ultimi 3 episodi la serie è stata prevedibile: farci capire sin dall’inizio che la moglie del Signor Mo era un agente del NIS ad esempio, non è stata un’idea geniale...posso pensare ad almeno una dozzina di modi per rendere la storia meno scontata. 

Ed è proprio con la storyline dei coniugi Mo che il drama è riuscito a prendermi: non ho mai odiato il Signor Mo e non l’ho mai visto come cattivo della serie, anzi...tutti che gli spillavano soldi e nessuno che gli riusciva a completare le sue richieste. Non posso voler male ad un uomo il cui motto è stato “largo ai giovani”  mentre minaccia e ricatta SENZA MAI USCIRE DA CASA SUA!! E poi ha una storia tristissima: i colleghi di suo nonno vogliono farlo diventare un loro burattino, sua moglie - che lui ama tantissimo - l’ha sposato per via di una missione, gli rapiscono il figlio....cioè T_T 

E sul finale... io ero convinta che la signora Mo chiedesse il divorzio e poi tornasse tra le aitanti braccia dell’attore. Invece la serie mi stupisce ancora... #bravo

Come bravi sono stati Jang Tae-Ho e Lee Dong-Hyun due ruoli che ho amato e che mi hanno emozionato molto... Dong  -Hyun poi era adorabile e spassoso. XD 

Ed infine le parti che mi sono piaciute meno: 

1) il protagonista

Avrei desiderato più introspezione e approfondimento su questo personaggio. Per me è difficile empatizzare con la scelta se rimanere uomo del NIS o lasciare il suo lavoro per la normalità, quando non so nulla di lui. Ha una famiglia? perchè è diventato un agente? i suoi genitori sono ancora vivi? ne dubito perchè è un drama coreano ed i drama coreani sono spesso pieni di orfani o da uno dei genitori deceduti. #legit quanto è stato difficile diventare agente di cosi alto livello? se lascia il NIS gli mancheranno le missioni? Sono domande sceme è vero...ma servono a creare una storia per il personaggio. 

2) la storia d’amore

Le scene d’amore sono carine su questo non c’è dubbio. C’è tutta quest’aura romantica di sottofondo, con sguardi sognanti e musica stra romantica che fa da contorno. 

Il problema è che non ho mai capito esattamente perchè lui si è innamorato di lei. Se è perchè la manager è una donna diversa dalle altre, perchè è tosta, perchè lo tratta male... insomma una motivazione del perchè l’agente K che naviga tra donne da tutta la vita, scelga proprio Lei. 

Oltre a ciò, alla lunga questa storia d’amore mi ha annoiato. Le scene d’amore - dove non accadeva nulla la ribadivano sempre le stesse cose - erano diventate così tante che non mi vergogno a dire che ad una certa, in queste scene, ho premuto il tasto “avanti veloce”. 

3) la semibromance e il ruolo dell’attore e della Manager nella trama

Onestamente mi freno dal chiamare bromance la relazione tra i due protagonisti, semplicemente perchè, per quasi tutto il drama, è stato l’attore ha ricoprire l’agente K d’ aMMORE mentre l’altro quasi lo schifava. Solo verso il finale si è assistito ad una relazione d’amicizia/fratellanza paritaria...e mi spiace per questo non posso dargli la piena bromance. 

Inoltre - e qui si ritorna al mio secondo errore - l’attore passa 3/4 episodi a commentare quello che succede spettatore come noi pulendo le statuine. Siccome pensavo che questo fosse il coprotagonista, vederlo non fare NULLA per diversi episodi, mi ha lasciata perplessa. 

Passi per la Manager che poteva essere inserita solo come oggetto romantico e che invece si è rivelata più “utile” del previsto...ma il ruolo dell’attore nella trama principale inserito a singhiozzi, non è stata una scelta registica che ho amato perchè l’ho percepito proprio come inutile.

Reseña de He is Psychometric

Se centra en la vida de un hombre y una mujer joven. El joven Lee Ahn (Park Jin Young) gana una habilidad que no puede controlar. Al tocar la piel de alguien, puede leer sus secretos. La joven Jae In (Shin Ye Eun) no se detendrá ante nada para ocultar los secretos en su corazón.

Desde el primer capítulo me atrapó por completo. Usualmente le doy a dramas todo el capítulo 1 para convencerme si vale la pena verlo o no; pero a este creo que solo le tomó 10 minutos para que le dijera sí.

Es un kdrama muy, muy MUY interesante. Es la mezcla perfecta entre misterio y romance con la dosis ligera de humor. Incluso las risitas raras del fondo me daban risa.

En cuanto a la habilidad de Lee Ahn, realmente no hay mucha lógica detrás de su habilidad ni límites o reglas más allá del contacto piel con piel, pero es muy interesante y divertido de ver. La trama es una MUY buena trama de misterio; los personajes, profundos y significativos. AMÉ a la protagonista, me sentí muy identificada con ella en cuanto a su personalidad.

En general, el drama está súper bueno, te mantiene enganchada desde el inicio hasta el final de cada capítulo. Apenas empieza un nuevo capítulo y ya no quieres dejar de verlo. Apenas termina un capitulo y ya quieres continuar con el siguiente. REPITO, MUY buena trama policiaca y de misterio.

Es un gran rompecabezas con un número desconocido de piezas, y cada capítulo se descubren varias piezas y no sabes si habrá más o es el final.

Pd. Park Jin Young me enamoró <3 , especialmente su personaje. Quería ver este kdrama antes de ver The Devil Judge (donde Ji Sung oppa actúa <3), pero no quería que llevarme una gran decepción en caso de que el segundo personaje principal interpretado por Park Jin Young no me gustase; pero ahora estoy convencida de que amaré The Devil Judge.

Pd2. ¡El hermano de Lee Ahn, Kang Sung Mo (interpretado por Kim Kwon) me gustó mucho! No conocía al actor y además de él, me gustó su personaje y su actuación! Me recordó un poco a Lee Jong Suk en While You Were Sleeping en cuanto al físico.

Pd3. [SPOILER ALERT] Yo apostaba por la pareja entre Kang Seung Mo y la detective Eun Ji Soo; y me entristeció mucho que muriera :( no se lo merecía, merecía un final feliz junto con Seung Mo porque yo sí creo que sí la quería. Sí, es verdad, lo reprimía por su pasado pero sí la quería. Su muerte es mi queja más grande y por eso la historia no logró 5 estrellas a pesar de que me encantó.
