Oh my GODDDDDD this is my magnum opus, apparently my skill regression is absolutely insane if I’m in collage and I literally haven’t been able to draw anything good since September and now it’s Christmas break iv actually Been able to sit down and draw this !! I’m very pleased with it except for the sat on leg girl idk how to fix it cope babe, but the texture n the wings and the hair and the eyes ugh I’m so very happy with this, as someone who’s been masking heavily since I was a kid changlings are superrrrrr close to my heart and I love queen chrysalis she’s one of my fav characters from my little pony but I mean I just love the concepts of changlings i I really really love and hold dear to my blood pumping organ ❤️

And if it wasn’t clear this is my human chrysalis with extended legs n arms (and fingers but they’re hidden by the hair) cuz she’s bug and eerie and strange and off putting and my queen my ruler my lady I live to serve,!,!,!!!💚

februpony day 11: favorite species

changlings 100%!! i have so many thoughts and headcanons over them! as a kid they were my favorite, their concept was the coolest! it made kid me so happy when Thorax was introduced into the show and was a good guy! I loved the whole redemption arc changlings went through, and I love their reform designs! i don’t care what anyone says!

after the hive disbanded and since the changlings reformed, Thorax takes place as king and his brother Pharynx takes place as lead general!

~Headcanons~ 🐛 Thorax and Pharynx are Royal Changelings. Unlike the standard Drones, they have gems on their chest. Gems are reserved for Changelings of the royal court. 🐛 Thorax has an anxious habit of rubbing his legs together when nervous and it makes cricket noises. 🐛 During the first few weeks after his reformation he often banged his antlers on stuff since he wasn't used to them or his new height yet. 🐛 Rarity and Thorax do fashion shows and Rarity has a collection based around the reformed changelings to spread awareness that they aren't bad anymore 🐛 In the first week or so, Thorax kept forgetting he was the new leader of the changelings and had to be reminded as a result 🐛 Spike tried to introduce him to Ogres and Ouellettes, but it didn't go well at first because Thorax kept trying to make friends with literally every encounter. 🐛 Hes still not quite used to being a leader so he gets really embarrassed/flustered when people call him ”your highness” or anything of that sort 🐛 He now has the duty of fathering the next generation if the hive, much like Chrysalis before him mothered his generation 🐛 Thorax sees himself in Ocellus and has taken her on as his personal student, and when he couldn't teach her anymore since she knew everything he taught her, he enrolls her in Twilight's School of Friendship 🐛He doesn't enjoy politics, finding such diplomacy either boring or stressful. Even so, he is very well read up on these matters, to ensure he can represent his people well.

thought about the dream guardian doing The Unicorn Pose(tm) in a mlp au a little too long and finally drew it. It looks WAY more blue than I intended (colors are different between my computer and tablet screens?) but I accidentally closed the program before I could look at fixing it so I guess I'm done now <3. This took 3 days.

NEW PONYSONA LETS GO ! ! ! ! I adopted this little fella off of Toyhouse! I've always loved,,, changelings,, they're just like weird little bug horses. i didnt watch far enough in the show to see them be reformed, but i like the idea that it happened! I also have always had a love for lightning bugs (or fireflys, whatever you happen to call them), which this design was based on. i love them sm. I think i'm just gonna name them Firefly or Lightning Bug to keep it simple?? but most of the time, i'll probably call him Buggy. (He/They)

A Brief break from Goretober because I've been listening to a lot of MLP Creepypastas so I gotta make my OWN horror Horse.

His name is Perfect Pin; he's a monster, in his own way. He has a fascination with preserving and mounting specimens-as his ass tattoo has decreeded. But he's moved on from simply bugs and small animals. He's moved on to Pegasi because he thinks their biology is nifty and should be preserved for future viewing. His day job is a entomologist at a collage, managing their archives. It helps fund the rent on his very special house with it's very special gallery basement situation he has.

The Changling is his partner in crime. His name is Tarsus. Tarsus is one of the royal grubs from the previous Hive. Which means he emerged first, literally ate the competition and the second he pupated with legs he had the choice-fight the Alpha Queen or get the fuck out. The latter was chosen. He met Perfect Pin and they've had a nauseating symbiosis ever since. While Perfect Pin kidnaps people and begins the long process to preserve them and pin them to his gallery wall-Tarsus acts as the middle man, taking disguise of a 'poor victim like them who has to work under Perfect Pin and doesn't want to do this or else he'll get hurtings again' and then feeding off the essentially Stockholm feelings of people thinking he's one of them and worthy of trust and comradery. Then he goes up stairs, kicks back and watches 12 hours of trash T.V. after such a filling meal from a 20 minute interaction.

He is also Perfect Pin's literal partner. Are they gonna make a fucked up colony together? Maybe. Are they gonna keep sticking people on to a wall and preserving them like insane taxidermists? Absolutely. Will they get found out? Can't get caught if the cops can't find a body.
