Andre: "I'm keeping Zoe! She doesn't deserve to have a mother like you, Audrey!"
Me: "No, let's try that again."
Andre: "I'm keeping both daughters, Audrey! You were a horrible parent to them both and while I wasn't perfect either, I'm gonna learn my lesson by being the parent they both need and deserve!"

How do you feel about what they're doing with Adrien?
Are you referring to him in the finale or his role in Revolution? Because either way, I'm gonna be bluntly honest: I don't care anymore.
The show has dumb downed and flanderized so many of its characters, no wonder Adrien would be a part of it too.

I don’t give a fuck if this girl’s a bully, a racist, a sociopath, whatever. Forcing your kid with their abuser; whether they be a parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, EVEN A FUCKING SIGNIFICANT OTHER is NOT OKAY!
Hello
Latest episodes were ok
I know how s5 is gonna end
But there were stuff cut from the latest episodes like the apology everyone did to marinette only not to be there
And there is whole original scrip where Andre divorce Audrey and is gonna adopt Zoe
Tumblr media
But gave away Chloe to a mentally abusive mother after saying Audrey is not fit to be mother especially to zoe
Tumblr media
I’m a divorce child and let they’ll you is mess up and badly written
What kind of parent just gave up their child to a abusive person? Chloe don’t deserve this and to be left by her father while taking her sister with him is actually mess up
Tumblr media
I’m sorry but is also mess up that fans think is the greatest writing ever and Chloe deserves that , they are just celebrating that and is so mess up
Tumblr media
Even though is a fictional character that is a child being again be left behind by a parent and this time is one that actually cares
Tumblr media
First her mother left her and suddenly comes back and with another child
And now her father is leaving her and taking that other child with him
The creator just want people to hate Chloe and write her off
Chloe deserves better and better writing
Tumblr media
I agreed bullying is not ok and don’t like what she done to marinette but Chloe was her way to redemption and the reason the way she is is because of her mother and she tries so hard to get her approval and love from her

Felix: "Oh, Adrien, you remind me so much of your mom! Your hair, your eyes, your irrelevance to the story, your chin."
Adrien: "Wait, what did you said in the middle?"
Felix: "Your eyes :)."

I legitimately can't believe a show like MLB with MLs like Adrien and Luka let Ondine end up with Kim after he lightheartedly mentioned he did one of the worst things you could ever do to a girl and then said "Chloe’s the prettiest girl in the world and the funniest too" right in front of her
He didn't even do anything to earn her heart back he just apologized to Mari
Poor girl

At this point, if you think Chloe's worse than Gabriel and Felix, please block me and get the fuck off my page. That is all. ✌️
Tumblr media
Here are some thoughts on why I think Chloe's character arc makes perfect sense.
Chloe has a real bad hangup about power. She needs to feel it desperately.
she idolizes Ladybug, who is powerful
she wants a Miraculous to feel powerful
she orders her dad around to feel powerful
she mis-names her butler to feel powerful
she bosses Sabrina around to feel powerful
she is cruel to Marinette to feel powerful
she is dismissive of Chat Noir because he is subservient to Ladybug and therefore weak
When Adrien stands up to Chloe regarding her treatment of Marinette, she perceives this as him ordering her to reign in her power. To restrict her power.
In response, she re-asserts her power: she cuts him out of her life. Similarly, Ladybug denies her a Miraculous, so she turns on Ladybug, again lashing out at someone who has diminished her power. She then aligns herself with someone who promises it to her.
Then Zoe shows up, and Zoe gets attention and affection (and therfore power) from Andre, who isn't even her real father! She's spent more time with their mother, which is another form of power.
S3 through S5 is a systematic stripping away of the thing Chloe holds most dear: power. In response to this, she exerts power every opportunity she gets: she tries to take over the movie, she bosses Adrien around, she revels in her cruelty toward Marinette, she aligns herself with Lila (who Chloe recognizes has the power to fool everyone around them), she is cruel to her sister, and eventually she "leads" a fascist takeover of Paris (of course, not realizing that she's fourth banana in the takeover after Evil Gandalf, Slightly Less Evil Elon Musk, and Lila.
Her character arc makes perfect sense.
Uhh, umm, in this powerpoint presentation I will

So apparently the Miraculous writing team released commentary on the s5 finale, during which they explain that Chat Noir not being in the final battle was planned from the beginning. (All the way back in 2014/2015)
Like, they had to come up with a reason (they were struggling to figure out how to keep Adrien away instead of him, like, cataclysming the wall determined to help his Lady) for that specific outcome, rather than a good reason supporting the outcome.
And their big reason? Wanting to use the Bug Noire combination on Marinette. That’s it. They left out the second most important protagonist, one with personal connections to the villain… because they wanted a cool power up scene.
Just when I thought I couldn’t hate that outcome any more than I already did.

My scalding hot take about the finale is that there is no way to ever make Bug Noire a valid writing choice because it goes against Marinette's arc of learning to stop taking all the burdens onto herself and learning to rely on others and their support, and also against Adrien's arc of learning to assert himself and his worth and independence after a lifetime of having others make decisions for him and dictating his actions. There, I said it.

(MLB Movie Spoilers) What my thoughts the Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir The Movie?
I recently watched the Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir The Movie, and I must say it was an enjoyable watch. However, it does contain some issues, primarily from the fast pacing in Act 1, whether becoming immersed in this universe by seeing the similarities and differences to allow the audience to have a visual representation to see how this universe deviates from the show's continuity while still feeling connected to the source material, understanding the character's motivation to connect toward them on a personal level, or how quickly Marinette and Adrien gain their miraculous.
There are other issues contained within the movie does slightly hinder the experience of being immersed, like Plagg's unnecessary gross-out humor, the anti-climactic defeat of Gabriel, and some of the transitions in the musical performances of the voice actors, specifically between Marinette's voice and singer-actors. As a result, it makes Marinette's wants, desires, and meanings while singing feel less authentic because it feels like someone else is singing through Marinette than the actual Marinette singing.
Although these issues can pamper the watchability and enjoyment of the film, I still believe there are more positives within this film to outweigh the negative aspects, specifically their focus on redefining the importance of Ladybug and Chat Noir as a timeless and iconic heroic duo on equal terms. As a member of the MLB community, saying these words after three terrible seasons of poor writing, character assassination, and author favoritism is a blessing. Also, seeing classic LadyNoir action and chemistry is always a blessing.
As for other positive aspects of the film, I must say that the animation and art style are eye-dropping in a good way. (The amount of expression of life through the movie animation alone is remarkable and highlights the character's personalities. The art style is pleasant on the eyes, whether stationary or in motion. It gives you a sense of fantasy endearment/appeal and wonder. The lighting for the film is also fabulous.)
As for the writing for the movie, it is not groundbreaking for the characters or anything high, but it does do a solid job showing the growth of the characters through the theme of self-discovery and the importance of believing in yourself, even if the triggers of their development start within songs, which of speaking musical performances they are great. All of the singer-actors are a treat to hear.
The Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir Movie is very similar to the Steven Universe movie, with a general intention to make a movie that is connected to the source material and expand the worldbuilding for new audiences, but as well is a movie that reminds old audiences why they feel in love with the series, to begin with. Whether from the character's chemistry, simple but effective storytelling, great interesting characters arcs, and more, It is all there, and I appreciate this movie for that.
My Final Verdict & Ranking on the Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir The Movie is a 7.7 out of 10. (Animation 9.5/10, Score & Music 7.5, Pacing 6.5/10, Writing & Story 7/10, Overall Enjoyment 8/10 = Total 7.7/10) It is a good film that returns to the series' core roots and identity while still being unique within its rights and succeeding. However, it is not a film I would particularly rewatch so often or even consider perfectly timeless, which is fine because not every movie needs to be a grand event to notice and be successful. Sometimes, a simple story can go a long way. The Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir The Movie is a must and enjoyable watch for fans who miss the golden era of the show quality.
(Sidenote: because I didn't know where to put this.) The fact of the matter is that the movie has the honor of allowing Adrien and Gabriel to know each other identities and address the inner conflicts of their characters is legendary. (However, it doesn't mean it is perfect because there is a bit of a pacing issue with Gabriel getting to that destination. However, the movie's approach to this idea is leagues better than the actual show's attempt by downright removing Adrien and keeping him in the dark from the pivotal moment in the Season 5 finale.)

The fact Gabriel a child abuser, that took part in a murder(Shanghai special), almost murdered an entire family small children included(Senti bubbler), threatened to start World War 3 (new york) and has been terrorizing Paris for over a year not only gets a statute and hailed as a hero but has all of his crimes buried by one of the heroes meanwhile Chloe a child that has done far less than him not only gets treated like the devil incarnated but is sent off to live with her abuser as a 'just' punishment is quite frankly disturbing

Gabriel: "I became a terrorist because I still loved and miss Emilie, and that's why I abused and gaslighted everyone; including Adrien."
Marinette: "I forgive you, I'll make sure I never tell the truth to anyone. Not even Adrien."
Félix: "I stole the miraculouses from you because I was ashamed for being a sentimonster, and I was abused for being one. I just wanted them to be free. Which is why I committed genocide."
Marinette: "I forgive you. Wanna join our team as the new Peacock holder?"
Chloé: "I bullied you because my mom abandoned me, and daddy didn't know how to raise me properly. I felt jealous, insecure and useless towards you. That's why I became Queen Bee and betrayed you."
Marinette: "FUCK YOU! LEAVE!"

One thing that really does bother me a lot about season 4&5 Chloe is that…she doesn’t even show genuine love or interest in anything anymore. She’s just always having this “better than everyone” attitude about everything. Yes she did this in other seasons, but it just feels completely different now. It doesn’t even feel enjoyable to watch anymore, she’s not even that character that “you love to hate” anymore, she doesn’t even feel like Chloe anymore. She’s not even a bully with redeemable qualities anymore, she’s just this one-dimensional evil shell, just so people won’t feel sorry for her. It’s OOC, it’s stupid, it’s just…ugh.
And if anyone’s gonna to dare show up and say:
“WELL THATS THE POINT DUH!”
No…it’s not.
Because it’s the way you write it. Don’t you see? It doesn’t even FEEL like she had this “backwards development” Thomas claims he was giving her, she just feels ridiculously unrealistically evil now. That’s dumb, even for Miraculous. It’s dumb because…even bad and evil people have a humane side, like Gabriel, Audrey, Andre etc., but apparently Chloe's still worse than all of them combined for some reason.
As mean as she was, I don't imagine seasons 2 and 3 Chloe doing this or behaving like this. Heck, I don't even imagine season 1 Chloe doing this. Thomas has turned one of his most complex characters from the show into a blander version of true her self, all because so people would grow to hate her, just like he does…for some strange and immature reason. Now I’ve pretty much accept that Chloe is a lost cause, but to no real through of her own. In show, the adults in her life failed her, and in real life, her creator failed her. She’s never going to redeem, have proper development or a happy ending as long as that guy is in charge.
I’m not saying that Chloe was never wrong nor didn’t deserve any punishment, but I don’t blame nor hate her more than them. I never will.
