They never blamed her
At the end of "Protection", Marinette finds out that Kagami had come into contact with Lila. This was huge news for Marinette because it finally answered the question of who gave Kagami that friendship test list back in "Perfection", the very list that made Kagami believe that Marinette never considered her a friend and was not good enough to be anyone's friend.
Marinette has previously dealt with Lila's attempts to ruin her friendships and reputation. Way back in "Ladybug", not only did Lila frame Marinette for various misdeeds but she also made sure to cover her tracks by making Marinette seem like the bad guy. As much as Marinette tried to defend herself, even she came to the cruel realization that her words would still fall on deaf ears even in her most dire moment, as she realized Lila was just too good at lying.
When Marinette tried to clear her name to Kagami in "Protection", she once again faced the same troubling situation as in "Ladybug", which was that she was not being taken seriously over Lila's words.
(Kagami believed Lila's lie that Marinette would lie her way out of trouble, she refused to listen to Marinette's attempts to clear her name.)
The only reason Marinette's name was cleared back in "Ladybug" was because Adrien demanded Lila come up with another lie that would prove her innocence, as even he knew he did not have the capability to expose Lila and could only threaten to end their friendship if she did not carry out his demands. And of course, Lila reluctantly agreed, not for the sake of friendship, but because she could not risk losing the privileges that came with such a friendship, including being able to stay close to Adrien amidst her (failed)plans to start a romantic relationship with him.
Near the end of "Protection", Adrien overheard the conversation between Marinette and Kagami and likely also understood that what happened in "Perfection" and "Protection" had all been the result of Lila once again having no regard for others as she now attempted to ruin the friendship between Marinette and Kagami.
Just like in "Ladybug", it was Adrien who stepped in at the end of "Protection" to try and help clear Marinette's name to Kagami, but unlike in "Ladybug", this was different. Ever since Adrien ended his friendship with Chloe back in "Derision", it was very likely that he also ended his friendship with the only other person who would willingly hurt Marinette, Lila. But while the two of them no longer being friends would end up being a good decision for Adrien, this also meant that Adrien no longer had any leverage over Lila.
Risking the friendship Lila had with him, was the only thing he had to make Lila listen as he knew she could not be reasoned with normally. However, by now, even he knew that friendship never really mattered to Lila as he learned she was still willing to make attempts to hurt the people he loved behind his back. The only chance he had at helping Kagami realize that Lila was wrong about Marinette being a liar and a manipulator, was by openly expressing his honest and heartfelt opinion about Marinette.
It was left to Kagami to decide for herself whether or not Marinette was really a bad person, Adrien could only hope that Kagami did not forget the time she shared with Marinette, what she saw Marinette do for her and for others that proved every day how much of a good person she truly was, and she didn't, but this hurt all the more as she realized that she misjudged the friends who cherished her and the love they had for each other (more here).
No matter how guilty and ashamed Kagami felt for allowing her own emotions to cloud her judgment and believe Marinette was a bad person, Marinette never shunned her for it, because in many ways, Marinette knew all too well the position Kagami was in.
Back in season 2, when Kagami first arrived to Paris, Marinette had the rough impression that Kagami was not only cold, but a threat, someone who never hesitated and was capable of making secret plans in their shared love rivalry for Adrien. The thought of the two of them ever being friends never crossed her mind as she assumed Kagami viewed her as someone who was inferior and imperfect, someone who only ever hesitated at any given opportunity.
(In the past, Marinette believed Kagami was perfect in every way)
(In "Frozer", Marinette becomes intimidated by Kagami's willingness to not hesitate with Adrien, to not be afraid to take the next step with him and not be considered just a friend in his eyes)
In "Animaestro", Marinette really believed the idea that Kagami was determined to kidnap Adrien so she could take him to japan forever, and that Adrien was too nice a person to realize Kagami's "evil plan", all things which in reality, never happened. Back in "Ikari Gozen", Marinette really believed Kagami only entered the friendship day competition in a plan to receive all the credit for winning the game that Adrien was involved in, fully intending to use the game as a chance to make Adrien fall in love with her, something that in reality Kagami never did or intended to do, all she really wanted was to make a friend.
In "Protection", when Kagami believed Lila's words that Marinette was secretly pretending to be nice to her from the start as part of her secret plan to steal Adrien from her one day, she really believed in the idea that everything she did to help Marinette get that chance to get closer to Adrien, and help direct Adrien towards understanding his feelings for Marinette, was all part of Marinette's "evil plan" to act weak as a way to lie and manipulate others into feeling compelled to help her get what she wanted (more here), and Adrien for one was too blinded by Marinette's manipulation to see through her deception, all things that in reality Marinette never did or had the intention to do, all she really wanted was to be a good friend to Kagami.
Marinette's past views of Kagami were of course brought about by her overactive imagination conjuring and believing in situations that never happened (something she would later learn to admit to herself in "Glaciator 2"), that the only solution to stopping what she thought were Kagami's "diabolical plans" was by sabotaging her and even adhering to the word of someone like Chloe, who had a hatred for Kagami, a similar course of action Lila instilled in Kagami in "Protection" as she pushed Kagami into believing that she had every right to go against Marinette and fight to take back what she stole, Adrien(more here).
Although Marinette did eventually come to her senses and realized she completely misjudged Kagami, she never forgot that overwhelming sense of guilt and shame she felt over just how much she misjudged her, especially in regards to what she did during that time she believed Kagami was the evil one in a situation, when in reality she never was.
(In "Ikari Gozen", Marinette realizes Kagami was never the cold hearted perfect person she thought, and was simply a socially awkward girl desperate to learn how to be friendlier and make friends)
Over time, Marinette grew to learn the kind of person Kagami was, she was flawed just like anyone else, she was a girl who struggled to learn about herself, especially friendships, but was eager to learn, and befriend those who were willing to accept her. Kagami has always been very strong willed, and yet despite this, those who would actually take a chance to talk to her would learn that behind that strong will, was a fragile innocence.
Which is why when Marinette and Adrien learned that it was Lila whom Kagami had been listening to, they never blamed her for doing so, and how could they? They understood Kagami knew very little about friendships, and Lila was fully willing to take advantage of this.
To know that Kagami believed the friendship test back in "Perfection" and still stay with Lila even after the matter was resolved, was likely enough to reveal to them that Kagami had considered Lila a friend who cherished and listened to her, because that's how Lila would have presented herself from the start to draw Kagami towards her.
Adrien and Marinette knew they had to warn Kagami about Lila and they did, but being upfront about Lila had already proven to be of no use in the past, so they did what they could and told Kagami that Lila was one person whose actions didn't prove she is as good of a person as she claims to be.
However, no matter how much they would try to warn Kagami about Lila, even they must have understood that Kagami was now trapped in Lila's clutches. They have seen Lila lie her way out of trouble many times before, and as we all know, that's exactly what she did the moment Kagami confronted her about the lies she spoke about Marinette.
Without proof, they could only hope Kagami would adhere to their word over Lila's the next time she attempted to lie and manipulate her into another one of her scheme's.

In ‘Ephemeral’, after Adrien revealed himself to Marinette, she started seeing him in a different light and acting incredibly awkward with him at school. We thought it was just because she was struggling to put Adrien and Cat Noir together, but in ‘Deflagration’ and ‘Perfection’ she behaves almost the same way, without even knowing he’s Cat Noir.
Adrien seems to be letting his Cat out of the bag, too. His song in ‘Perfection’ was so Cat Noir - totally open in his expression of emotion. Almost too much. He’s doing that thing of his, where he pushes his overwhelming love onto her, whether she’s ready for it or not, just like he did with Ladybug.
It seems that she is completely unable to cope with Adrien being his true self, unless she doesn’t know he’s Adrien. She’s seeing through the Adrien Agreste mask to the Cat side beneath, it is breaking the image she had of him, and it is freaking her out.
I wrote a short fic exploring this, but basically, I think when she says she doesn't feel good enough for him, she means that all his grand gestures of affection put her in the spotlight - sometimes literally. She's imagining everyone else thinking, 'What's so special about her?'
What she doesn't yet understand is that Adrien sort of feels this way all the time. He worries about being good enough for anyone. This is why he tries so hard - he's been groomed to feel like he has to go that extra light year to be accepted.
They both need to see that they are each enough, just as they are.
Please no post-Perfection spoilers in the comments. I'm watching in order. Thank you :)

Miraculous Ladybug: Spoilers for Perfection (Part 1)
I’m dead.
Warning, I’m quite critical in this review/ramble. MLB spoilers for S5 E12, cuz screw chronological episode releases. Part 2 will cover Emotion (cuz I had to stop it halfway to process the madness).
Fun fact. I feel like the jump in development between these two episodes actually speaks to the amount of episodes you could skip if you wanted to see what this show would be like if it went through a more “Show don’t tell” angle. If anyone has come up with a definitive “show-don’t-tell” cut of the show once it’s finally finished, pls send me a drive or a recommendation list, or I’ll have to do it myself /hj
For realskies, I….? Perfection was middle school secondhand cringe I suppose. The “I love” “moo” thing is self-aware, but still cringe nonetheless. Wondered of a funnier variation of her trying to say “ew” instead in reaction to Adrien’s established camembert stench like she keeps holding up a picture of camembert each time to try to get herself to say “I love (ew)” — but never even considers the correlation with that stench and Plagg. I’m actually curious btw about the french variation as a non-french speaker. Je taime? Right? Idk how the cow card would play into this.
Also mad props to MLB for tackling miscommunication and issues like fear of rejection, fear of failure, golden child syndrome with more care between the Marinette and Kagami, and having that translate into an akuma — screw you I could care less what they’re actually called now — that wasn’t just blindly destructive to everyone around em. More self-destructive, which I find to be more common for people irl. The ratio of people who’d use their negativity to lash out on others is hard to gage, but I know it’s been way too late in the game for there to be only this one akuma who’d rather sit and wallow in their lonliness. More people would rather crawl in a hole and die than inconvenience a stranger.
That desire to want to sit in isolation for days on end is quite relatable. More so than the manbaby temper tantrums you’d see from Mayor Bourgeious, the Ice cream guy, or Gabriel Agreste ffs. One can argue that Hawkmoth intentionally seeks out powerhungry hateful individuals: but that requires assuming Gabriel wasn’t just blindly choosing anyone with shallow grievances, with his powers amplifying them to be stupidly destructive. So I think the less complicated conclusion is Gabriel doesn’t seek out the strongest of negative emotions, (the baby akumas shoulda been a dead indicator), but he’ll take anything. Still doesn’t take away from the fact that aside from “Perfection”, there hasn’t been any other akuma who’s emulated what it’d really feel like to have your deep negative feelings of inadequecy be amplified. Or maybe I’m just projecting, which in that case, my bad 😋
On a separate note, this show had the potential to explore the deeply tragic misuse of the butterfly miraculous — that capacity to empathise with others, recognise their sadness beneath the anger —it really coulda been a good eye opener for mental health in society. But ehhh I already shot myself in the foot long ago for even insinuating MLB would ever try to reflect or deeply respond to modern-day issues. It really isn’t more than what its premise surmises. Aside from also being an anti-rich, soap opera, pre-teen angst monstrosity. But I digress.
Overall, Perfection is not for my age demographic but the sentiment comes across. Also, Adrien attempting to sing a dramatic ballad, and it being overshadowed by Marinette and Kagami’s shared feelings of inadequecy in their relationship to each other was both disheartening but also hilarious to me. “No worries, Adrien can always come up with another song from the heart off-screen! Besties come first!” Slay honestly. (Actually I take that back, Kagami don’t follow Lila’s IG!!!—)
Thanks for reading!

MLB SEASON 6 FELINETTE'S BIG TRACK IN JEREMY ZAG'S VIDEO (new Miraculous scenarios via Instagram) ANALYSIS AND FELINETTE CLUES FOR S6 PART 6 marinette's balcony :TRAY part3
TRAY part2
} protection S5
THE FOCUS IS ON KAGAMI!!
This chapter confirms that the adrinette will fail and the adrigami will triumph because Kagami will get in the way, but that the felinette will triumph and the feligami will fail. WHICH WE HAVE ALREADY PREDICTED BUT ALSO THAT FELIX WILL LITERALLY PROTECT HER on an emotional level, which is why this chapter is titled like this, alluding to wayzz, her miraculous and therefore to Félix.
Here they are no longer implying that Adrien is like little by little he stopped seeing her, and that Marinette will suffer, because she will spend more time with Kagami, also that Félix will take care of Marinette (this in the bottle of water that she gives him so that he can hydrate, water represents Argos, remember)
Here they talk to us about how valuable Marinette is as a person and how she always helps everyone, which is true, so I feel that even though Marinette gets stressed out about Adrien passing her hand, she doesn't think about herself, as always, That will cause consequences in the future, another fact to keep in mind is that
Felix loved Marinette from the beginning and that he could never forget her and that when he stopped seeing her that destroyed him, but he transformed that feeling into friendship, he tried to leave it behind and he did it for his cousin, etc., HE REALLY CARE ABOUT HER AND HE WILL TRY TO CARE FOR HER AS A FRIEND (IN THE BEGINNING OF CLEAR) we see all this in the fact that Lila represents Alix AND ALIX ADRIEN AND FELIX TOGETHER. Also again, the presence of Lilac makes us understand that Marinette's love for Adrien is an illusion...because of the color orange.
Marinette will feel guilty, she will think that the problem is hers, THAT SHE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, THAT SHE IS NOT PERFECT!!!!, as always and this will make Adrien feel bad because he lies to her, but this also alludes to Felix will feel bad with Kagami because Kagami will also walk away and he will think that he has lost his spark, Marinette is very schematic, like MAX, the two of them are reflected there,
Also this scene of the ferris wheel occurs precisely at sunset, a symbol of endings, the adrinette ends...
here we can verify that Félix in some way is like lying about his emotions, so the Feligami little by little is also coming to an end....so the 2nd opportunity will arise for Marinette on Félix's side as we have said and this is reflected in the portrait in the background, where we see Gabriel in indigo blue (Félix) AND ADRIEN WITH THE NAVY BLUE T-SHIRT AND THE BANGS IN THE DIRECTION OF FELIX) BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT CONNECTION IS THE NAME OF THE DANCE WHICH IS CONNECTED WITH THE CHAPTER EMOTION, WHO DEBUTS THERE?, so practically the adrigami will triumph and by doing that Felinette will too, however this will cause jealousy in Adrien which will cause chaos in both Marinette and Felix, so coincidentally Mention is made of the cataclysm in Gabriel with the portrait behind... in a few words... this below will be fulfilled... and not only for Marinette but for Felix...
That's why they both have the same red light. This mess is going to be caused by Adrien, not Felix, this Thanoseo is Adrien's, both scenes are the same, only one is more direct and the other is more subtle.
Felix is going to feel bad for Marinette and since he is going to want to help her, (the proof is that he is drinking a glass of tea), he is going to see that she suffers with all this and is going to try to help her because he sees that because of her cousin, she suffers and I didn't see that, Marinette will suffer from this love triangle and she and her dreams will end up broken into a thousand pieces, here we may have a parallel with Marinette, in the same way that Marinette played "celestina" with Adrigami, Felix could do with adrinette, all this is confirmed because on the one hand we see gorilla preparing the food.
On the one hand, bread cut into slices, alluding to Marinette and how Kagami is going to "cut it into pieces" and the fruit salad, which is made up of banana, orange and apple, representing this love triangle and clearly who loses out (Marinette ).
On the other hand, Adrien's expression when he says "it will be very hard for her and she will abandon him." Who is Marinette going to abandon? Weren't we talking about Adrianette? AHA abandon Adrien, you basically tell us that after that in the future, Marinette will abandon him and leave, and Felix somehow predicts this and of course he is afraid that the two WILL SUFFER.
NOW EVEN THOUGH MARINETTE HAS THAT "PERFECTION" COMPLEX, she is going to reconsider and understand that well, what her fears could be and that we have to see things as they are, the proof of this is the position in which Marinette is living this and his connection with cap glaciator S2, which again confirms that Adrien began to stand him up at meet-ups etc...
AND THAT FELIX WILL ALSO GIVE PLATO (this seen through the failed chatnoir date on the balcony at night, where the decoration is Japanese)
We know that Gabriel and Tomoe want to do the diamond dance to bring them together as king and queen and as a married couple, and here it is made clear that Kagami still loves Adrien and that all this costs her a lot, I would almost say that pretending that everything is fine and that this whole disaster is going to be Adrian's fault...
There will be a love triangle and Kagami will win, but in a dirty way, this confirms that ADRIEN ONLY LIKES THE PERFECT and who fits that title? clearly Ladybug and then Kagami, Adrien does not love her as she is, and on top of that Kagami is more sincere than Ladybug, clearly Kagami wins, now, in this sequence there is another CLUE and that is when he says "you are the same species" clearly by destiny kagami and adrien are destined to be together, they would be created for that reason but this could be a mini-clue that marinette and felix in the future will be secretly seeing each other as lovers...this will be when marinette is sentiser,
here a post I talk about this very briefly
Be that as it may, Kagami is involved so that the felinette breaks and the adrinette breaks. AND HERE COMES THE KEY TO EVERYTHING. THEY TELL US IN THE FACE!!!!!
I think it is clear what is going to happen....
Adrien will make excuses Marinette will begin to sense that something is happening but she will convince herself that what she sees is AN ILLUSION and she will not trust her intuition.
Now you'll tell me, but Adrien says to go to his house, yes, but that's not Adrien, it's Felix, as I said, the picnic scene will be adrigami and felinette's clue, we've already talked about it in a previous post that it's possible that Felix and Marinette spend time together, possibly at Felix's own house and that he comforts her for all the burden she carries (we saw it in the analysis of Sirena tray part1) SO THIS CAN GIVE US THE CLUE THAT WHEN THIS TYPE OF EVENTS IT HAPPENS MARINETTE IS CONSOLED WITH FELIX, ALSO THAT WHEN THE RELATIONSHIP FELINETTE FALLS MORE MARINETTE WILL HAVE CERTAIN FEARS BECAUSE OF WHAT SHE LIVED WITH ADRIEN BUT WITH HIM IT WILL BE DIFFERENT...AND HE WILL MAKE HER SEE IT, even with the worst appearances he will make her to love (this is REAL LOVE) the clue is that when this scene occurs we see in the background shoe boxes, formal shoes something of Felix's style.
and here we have several clues for felinette and adrigami, the floor, the pattern of the floor is a great clue for this 2 ships, this confirms that for the felinette to be given, there has to be adrigami, no matter how painful it is,
Marinette's 2nd chance will be Felix, after Adrien's rejection or abandonment, right? WE HAVE SAID IT IN MANY POST.... Here they don't remember them again, but of course first Marinette will have to see the truth, that Adrien doesn't love him.....
SO WE GO ON TO ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT SCENE: THE PICNIC WHICH I WILL ANALYZE IN THE NEXT PART BECAUSE THIS IS GETTING VERY LONG
LIKE REBLOG AND FOLLOW ME IF YOU LIKE THE CONTENT AND TO SEE MORE OF THIS TYPE
WE WILL READ YOU IN THE NEXT PART.

MLB Season 5 Character Analysis: "Destruction"
Introduction
Hey everyone, I'm back with another season 5 character analysis. If you haven't seen my previous analysis, you can find that here and if you haven't seen my season 4 character analyses, you can find that in my master post. So basically what I do here is that I take a look at the relevant characters of an individual episode of season 5 and breakdown their journey, explaining their motivations, emotions and behaviour.
Today, we're going to be taking a look at "Destruction" which is another episode important for Gabriel for reasons I will get into once we get to his part and also for Marinette and Adrien, for their own reasons as well. So let's get into it, shall we?
Character POVs
Gabriel
"Ladybug, Cat Noir, you'll never get the chance to deceive me again! Because Monarch's reign is about to begin!"
This episode shows us how desperate Gabriel has become to achieve his goal at all costs, going as far to taking a Cataclysm so that he would not lose. Just like in "Evolution", it is clear from this that Gabriel has fallen far from the man he once was.
He used the kwamis to find Ladybug but when that ended up failing due to her having already planned for this and not wanting to have to go out in the open again so that Ladybug and Cat Noir could get his Miraculous, he created the Alliance and developed a brand new suit. With every new suit, it seems that he keeps get more and more purple incorporated into it. His Hawk Moth outfit just had his suit purple, with his mask remaining silver and skin colour still being natural. Then his outfit as Shadow Moth gave us a more purple outfit with the purplish-blue feather on his one eye. Moving on to pre-Alliance rings Monarch, his skin had also become purple, but other colours still remained. Now with his latest suit, it is predomninantly purple, representing the darkness having completely consumed him.
2. Marinette
"Ever since I became a Guardian, I was always afraid that Monarch would capture one of the kwamis and force them to talk. It was so risky to get the Miraculous to other holders. What if they got lost? What if Monarch captured them? I had to figure out how to cover my tracks, in case Monarch ever forced a kwami to reveal anything that could lead him to me."
This episode really showed how Marinette's paranoia and anxiety worked to her advantage as a Guardian. Due to her tendency to plan for everything, she was able to make a contingency plan in case Monarch ever got a hold of one of the kwamis which ended up working in her favour in this episode.
Just goes to show why Marinette was a perfect choice for a Guardian. No one else would have even considered the possibility that Monarch might capture one of the kwamis and force them to lead him to them but Marinette did, because she is always very careful. The only reason she lost the Miraculous was due to something that was completely out of her control.
On an unrelated note, I've seen a lot of people talk about how Ladybug could have gotten the Miraculous back if she hadn't been monologuing and to that I say it wouldn't have been any different. Monarch would have still taken the Cataclysm and escaped, leaving both Ladybug and Cat Noir flabbergasted long enough for him to escape because it wasn't her monologuing that led him to escape, it was his willingness to take the Cataclysm, speaking of which...
3. Cat Noir
"I Cataclysmed him... I don't believe this! I just Cataclysmed someone! Granted it was Monarch, but there's a real person behind that mask and... it must have hurt him terribly. M'Lady, you gotta fix this!"
Monarch took the Cataclysm and this left a deep scar on Cat Noir. Up until this point, he never actually used his Cataclysm on an actual person. There was Aeon, but she was a robot, while this is a flesh and blood human. Shocked that he may have just caused someone serious harm, even if that someone is Monarch, he was temporarily left in shock just like Ladybug, the knowledge that he may have caused someone serious harm with his Cataclysm weighing down on his conscience. It's clear that he didn't really want to Cataclysm Monarch and when he did, he felt extremely guilty.
Conclusion
Well, that's it for "Destruction". Feel free to let me know your thoughts and point out things that I may have missed. Until next time!

In Defense of Ladrien
Hello there everyone, and welcome to a shorter post this time. I'll be honest, I'm in a random Ladrien mood right now, so I figured I should go rewatch a few of the Season 2 episodes with it. As you do. Then I remembered...it doesn't exist. Not in canon anyway, and that's a real shame! Despite Adrien and Ladybug's mutual crushes on each other, we don't get anything except a couple times where they blush at each other and stammer through their sentences. Which okay, it's cute, but c'mon, there's so much potential here! So today I want to lay a bit of groundwork as to how Ladrien could have been improved in this show, and also (hopefully) open up a discussion about it, since I rarely see anyone bring it up in modern MLB. I guess we're all too busy with Sentimonster angst and questioning what's going on with Lila's three mothers. Still waiting to see how they'll try to write themselves out of this predicament... Anyway, today we're talking about the most underrated lovesquare ship, Ladrien!
First of all, it's worth mentioning that I won't be going over the show episode by episode. This is just a short post discussing the ship in general, not a 7.5k analysis like I did with Chloe, my keyboard still needs time to recover. So, I'm sure we all know the basics, but I'll give a simple overview of canon Ladrien just to have everyone on the same page! Ladybug (Marinette) has a crush on Adrien Agreste. Adrien (Chat Noir) has a crush on Ladybug. That's it. That's the ship. Nothing more to it!
Okay...well, things aren't so simple. Canon does give us a couple moments where this dynamic is toyed with, but they're few and far between, leading to a...less than adored ship in the fandom. Don't get me wrong, I love Ladrien! That's why I'm writing this after all, and surely there's others out there who ship it too! But when compared to Adrienette or Marichat...it falls flat on it's face due to the utter lack of content we have to work with. Thankfully, we at least have an established dynamic! And hey, with this show, even that's a bloody miracle!
However, I have seen a lot of people (in yee olden days) say they prefer other sides of the Square because Ladrien seems...a little dishonest. In their defense, it really wasn't hard to make the claim that Marinette's crush on Adrien was (by early S2) still quite superficial, considering they hadn't actually gotten to know eachother than well, and vice-versa for Adrien with Ladybug. I can see why, especially since these are the respective personas that are "least real". Adrien is forced to conform to his father's expectations and always be perfect, while Ladybug needs to be professional and has the city's safety to worry about, hence is unable to ever be genuinely "Marinette" while in the suit. Add to that all the identity shenanigans, and it's easy to see why this ship got pretty much dismissed by a large portion of fans back when it was still relevant. And given that Miraculous has since pivoted away from teen drama and more into the "crazy butterfly man wants to destroy the universe" territory, most ships except Adrienette (and Marichat in Elation) got left behind as the storyline progressed. Ladybug and Chat's relationship evoled, we had a whole arc where Adrien was depressed, etc. That's just the natural progression of storytelling. At some point, we have to move on with the plot.
Fortunately, I am here to present the opposite argument! Ladrien would actually be a very viable ship, especially because of this hero worship that afflicts both Marinette and Adrien! It makes for amazing and complicated interactions on both sides, and here's why! It's because Ladrien was misunderstood, or maybe even misrepresented by the show itself. In my humble opinion, it shouldn't (only) be about Adrien blushing the moment he sees his crush, or Ladybug stammering twenty times in a single sentence. That's all well and good, but look at that I said a moment ago. Ladrien, by the very nature of it's existence is dishonest. Neither Ladybug nor Adrien can be themselves with eachother, even if I have no doubt they would rush headfirst into some kind of secret romance if given the oppurtunity! But...that the point of this ship in my opinion. They both view each other as this perfect, can-do-no-wrong person and have placed one another on a pedestal higher than Lila's delusions! Ladrien is fundementally doomed to this flaw from the very start...but overcoming it is what's interesting!
Just...hear me out! Let's say that after Gorizilla (or some other Akuma with Adrien as a target), Ladybug goes to check on him post-battle to make sure he's okay. Maybe she visits him that night, and surprises him with her presence. They do their usual routine of blushing and stammering, and for one reason or the other, one of them confesses that they have a crush. Regardless of who it is, or how exactly this plays out, let's say for the sake of argument that they get together after another visit or two. Maybe Marinette thinks this is her chance and can't resist getting to know the boy she loves, maybe Adrien is the one to bring it up because Ladybug is his hero. The immediate first problem is that while they know eachother...they can't be honest with their partner. And this brings up an amazing character conflict!
For Marinette, it's possible she has doubts about herself and rationalizes that of course the Adrien Agreste would never see her, but be in love with Ladybug! There's a whole other can of worms here about Marinette's feelings in regards to her mask, but that's for another post. For Adrien, maybe he's a bit conflicted because Ladybug is in love with him...but not Chat Noir, who he considers to be the "real" him. And the more they interact, the more both of them realize that the other is blindsighted by the mask they wear. There's genuine moments sprinkled in between, but feelings of inadequacy keep them from truly connecting. Think "the wall between us" metaphor. But...just when it seems like neither of them is really that happy, when they start feeling like a mistake, both Ladybug and Adrien get a glimpse of the person behind the mask. She realizes that he isn't some perfect, unreachable guy, and he in turn figures out that she's trying so hard to be good enough for him. This can happen in an infinite amount of ways, and I guarantee there's at least some Ladrien fanfics out there that do it! And I'm really glad, because it means someone else gets it!
After this we have a myriad of possibilities as to how things could go, but regardless, things absolutely change in their dynamic. They slowly start to getting to know the person behind the mask. Naturally, they both find themselves even more in love, then eventualy there's a reveal somewhere there, they get together officially, etc. You get the point, right? The reason why Ladrien is interesting is the dichotomy between Maribug and Adrichat's identities. It's the idolization that blinds them slowly fading away to reveal the truth, it's the feelings of insecurity that plague their relationship until everything finally comes to a head! If Ladynoir is parters in battle to lovers, Adrienette is high school sweethears, and Marichat is friends to secret midnight visits to lovers, then Ladrien is idols to friends to lovers! And I absolutely adore their dynamic!
Now, I'm obviously not the first person to bring this up, since I distinctly recall some great Ladrien fics from back in the day with pretty much this plot. And the reason why I adore them is that they play into the inherent dishonesty so well! I hope my point has come across, and if anybody wants to add their own analysis, by all means feel free! This post is supposed to open up a new discussion after all. Anyway, I have to go take a day off and go through my old Ladrien bookmarks! I'll see you all next time, but until then, Stay Miraculous everyone!

An interesting and sobering article that breaks down organizational racial bias in MLB. What focus there is on bias and under-representation in American baseball mainly addresses pre-signing causes, like scouting/recruitment practices in Latin America and opportunity/availability for young Black athletes. Obviously those are important things to address, but this article dives into the numerical effects of bias on players already in an MLB system, tying 70 years of data to people's lived experiences.
No data classification system is perfect for analyzing human racial identity and/or perception, but the article does a god job breaking down the methodology and explaining the impact of the results. I've started on my own, much more brute-force, analysis of the racial makeup of each MLB team, trying to find patterns of player usage as well as fan/media perception, arguably a third leg of the sport's overall racial picture.
Racial bias is an aspect of this sport, and of sports in general, that doesn't get the deep dive it deserves, and understanding the facts, the causes and effects gets us one step closer to finding solutions.

Mastering MLB Broadcasts: A Fan's Guide to Watching Baseball Live
Major League Baseball (MLB) broadcasts have evolved significantly, providing fans with multiple avenues to watch their favorite teams in action. Whether you prefer traditional television broadcasts, modern streaming services, radio broadcasts, or social media platforms, there's an option to suit every fan's needs. This guide explores the different methods of watching MLB games and the unique benefits each one offers.
Traditional TV Broadcasts
Traditional television broadcasts remain a staple for many baseball fans. Networks like ESPN, Fox Sports, and TBS offer extensive coverage of MLB games, including the regular season, playoffs, and the World Series. These broadcasts are known for their high production values, featuring expert commentary, detailed analysis, and various camera angles that enhance the viewing experience.
One of the main advantages of traditional TV broadcasts is the picture and sound quality. Watching games on a large screen with high-definition visuals and clear audio makes for an immersive experience. Additionally, TV broadcasts often include pre-game and post-game shows, providing in-depth coverage and insights that add to the overall enjoyment.
For fans who enjoy a communal atmosphere, sports bars and local establishments often air MLB games, allowing for a shared viewing experience with fellow enthusiasts. This social aspect can make watching the game even more enjoyable, as fans come together to cheer for their favorite teams.
Online Streaming Services
In recent years, online streaming services have revolutionized how fans watch MLB games. Platforms like MLB.TV, ESPN+, and YouTube TV provide flexible and convenient options for viewing games live or on-demand. MLB.TV, in particular, is a favorite among out-of-market fans, offering access to nearly every game. However, local blackout restrictions can sometimes limit access to certain games.
The flexibility of streaming services is a significant advantage. Fans can watch games on various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and computers, whether at home or on the go. Features like DVR functionality, multiple camera angles, and in-game highlights enhance the viewing experience, allowing fans to customize how they watch the game.
Streaming services also cater to cord-cutters who prefer not to rely on traditional cable or satellite subscriptions. With a subscription to a streaming service, fans can enjoy comprehensive MLB coverage without the need for a traditional TV package mlb중계.
Radio Broadcasts and Apps
For fans who enjoy listening to games, radio broadcasts and apps provide an excellent alternative to watching on screen. Local radio stations often cover MLB games, offering play-by-play commentary and analysis. Additionally, apps like TuneIn and MLB At Bat provide access to live radio broadcasts, allowing fans to listen to games from anywhere.
Radio broadcasts are particularly popular for fans who are on the move or unable to watch the game. Whether commuting, working, or running errands, listening to the game can keep fans connected to the action. The nostalgic charm of radio broadcasts, combined with the detailed and passionate commentary, makes this a beloved option for many.
Social Media and Highlight Platforms
Social media platforms and highlight services have transformed how fans engage with MLB content. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are filled with real-time updates, highlights, and fan interactions, providing a dynamic way to stay informed and entertained. Official MLB accounts and team pages regularly post game highlights, player interviews, and behind-the-scenes content.
Highlight platforms like MLB.com's Gameday and YouTube channels offer extensive coverage of game highlights, condensed games, and top plays. These platforms are perfect for fans who may not have time to watch full games but still want to stay updated on key moments and performances.
Social media also allows fans to interact with each other and with players, creating a more engaged and connected community. Live-tweeting during games, participating in fan polls, and sharing reactions to big plays add a layer of excitement and camaraderie to the viewing experience.
Conclusion
MLB broadcasts have diversified to offer fans a variety of ways to enjoy the game, from traditional TV and radio broadcasts to modern streaming services and social media platforms. Each method has its unique advantages, catering to different preferences and lifestyles. By exploring these options, fans can find the best way to experience the excitement and tradition of Major League Baseball. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a casual viewer, there's an MLB broadcast option that suits your needs.

The weight of Kagami's emotions.
At the end of "Protection", after Kagami realizes she had made a terrible mistake by misjudging Marinette, believing Lila's lie that her friend was secretly a liar and manipulator, she breaks down, blaming herself for being so weak as to allow her own emotions get the better of her again and cloud her judgment.
Kagami has always had a very strong reaction to discovering any mistake she made was the result of her failing to set aside her own emotions, especially considering those emotions have been used by Monarch to akumatize her, but this is expected on account of just who she is.
( In “Protection”, Lila explains Kagami has enormous pressure to be perfect and sees any emotion as a weakness)
Having lived a very isolated life where her only sole purpose was to uphold her family name, by being the perfect daughter, did eventually make Kagami realize she didn't know anything about how to socialize with other people, let alone about the relationships that surrounded the friendships everyone had. Even though Kagami might not have known how to make friends, she was determined to learn how.
(In "Ikari Gozen", Kagami tries to learn how to be friendlier to improve her social skills and make a friend, starting with Marinette)
Back in "Ikari Gozen", when Kagami decided to try and befriend Marinette during the friendship day competition, she was not aware that Marinette had misunderstood her and viewed her as a cold diabolical person who was dedicated to carrying out any secret scheme if it meant she could get Adrien to fall in love with her(more here).
Fortunately, Marinette was quick to realize her mistake and wasted no time in trying to make up for her actions, determined to accept Kagami's friendship with open arms and show her they can be friends, a moment that Kagami likely thought about later on when she became Ryuko for the first time, a time when Marinette/Ladybug and the viewers got a chance to see Kagami open up a little about her fear of failure .
(In "Ikari Gozen", Kagami was happy to see Marinette's determination to accept their new friendship as she spoke to her mother to cover for her. Marinette might not have been an image of perfection, but she proved to Kagami that she was a good person nonetheless.)
On the surface, Kagami appeared to be seemingly perfect to anyone who met her, but for her to maintain that sense of perfection was not only hard, it was nerve wracking as any sense of failure was seen as a disgrace by her family. "There are no second chances in my family", these are some of the core beliefs Kagami's family has lived by, and this we see all throughout the series affect Kagami again and again as she willingly accepted any failure that crossed her path.
(In "Ikari Gozen", Kagami did not blame Marinette for feeling disappointed in being paired with her for the friendship day competition. Instead, Kagami believed it was her own fault for not being worthy enough of such a friendship to begin with.)
(In "Ikari Gozen", Kagami's immediate response in failing to follow Ladybug's plan and stopping her akumatized mother on her own, was to quickly deem herself unworthy, someone who was not good enough to work alongside the heroes, and because of this, she did not hesitate to try and renounce the dragon miraculous.)
However, Ladybug told Kagami making mistakes are no reason to stop fighting, she always had the choice to try again, she only needed to be willing to take that chance. This was not only good advice for Kagami to hear, it was something she had taken a little more to heart that day she met Marinette for the Friendship Day competition. Ladybug's words might have been a complete contrast to what her family was taught to believe, but after watching Marinette's determination to give their new friendship a second chance, it was enough for Kagami to tell herself that maybe she could give into the thought of second chances for herself.
And yet, despite Ladybug's words of wisdom and Marinette's heartfelt attempts to be there for Kagami as a true friend, that feeling to be the perfect person, never left Kagami.
(In "Perfection", Kagami explains she has always had this overwhelming feeling to be the perfect person.)
To the Tsurugi's, nothing was more important than perfection. If they couldn't be perfect, then they were nothing. Kagami understood she knew very little about friendships, she didn't know how to act around other people, but it did not sway her from doing everything she could to try and be that perfect friend to the few she had.
But no matter what she did, be it reach out to her friends during their time of need or make room during her busy schedule to attend group gatherings, she could never shake that fear of potentially disappointing her friends if she didn't do more to be the perfect best friend.
Unlike other moments where she saw a challenge with a victory at the end of the line, maintaining a friendship was one thing Kagami could not understand if she was doing right, because unlike every other challenge she faced, her friendships were not a battle to be won, they were bonds she had to learn how to nurture and understand, and since she didn’t know if her actions were producing the results they should, that feeling of not being good enough remained the same.
(In "Perfection", Kagami was unsure if she was doing what a friend should do, but was happy to hear Marinette tell her she did help her and she has always been a good friend.)
Of course, friends like Marinette were there to help consul her about just what it means to be a good friend, but for someone like Kagami, who still knew so little about friendships, the possibility that some friendships were toxic, had yet to cross her mind, leaving her to accept advice from someone like Lila who intended to use her against others. Sure, Kagami had her own history with Lila, but after her experience with Marinette during the friendship day competition, what reason did she have to not give a second chance to those who were willing to listen and be kind to her. If the love between friends can be multiplied rather than divided just like Marinette said, then to Kagami, Lila was just another friend who would be added to that love, never knowing that the love Lila had for her was fake.
(Kagami had a strong dislike for Lila back in "Oni-chan" for being so close to Adrien. Although Kagami did eventually view her as a friend in "Perfection", she has not yet realized that her friendship with Lila would be the first toxic relationship she experienced, something she had never experienced and is unable to see now due to having a positive view of Lila that overshadowed any possibility that she is toxic and intended to use her to hurt Marinette.)
Kagami is currently content with the friendships she has and the new friendships she made near the end of "Perfection", but to have had that chance to experience such friendships away from her family and draw wisdom from them, did eventually reveal the cruel reality of her families toxic views and the unhappiness she ignored for much of it all.
Kagami rarely talks about her own feelings if she thinks it could cause trouble for others. In "Protection" alone, Kagami chose not to tell Marinette and Adrien about the pain she felt from watching the two of them live out a romance she once felt certain she was destined to have, with Adrien(more here). And if things ever came down to talking to her mother, well, she rarely talks about her feelings to her mother, and after the events of "Ikari Gozen" and “Protection”, we can see why. Tomoe does not approve of the decisions Kagami makes when she is guided by her emotions, regardless of the good intentions her daughter had.
Back in "Perfection", Kagami was happy to see everyone be so understanding of each other and dedicated to coming together to solve a problem. She was also happy to see Adrien working so hard to make his emotions clear to better deal with them, but knowing the struggles Kagami has had in sorting and expressing her own emotions, odds are, these were all things she wished would occur more in her life, but can't. After all, emotions are cast aside and looked down upon in her family, rather than shared and understood.
Emotions are viewed as a source of great weakness to the Tsurugi family, and if Kagami refused to accept this, her mother was more than willing to attempt to force her to uphold their families ways. If Kagami still had feelings for Adrien, then Tomoe saw no reason for Kagami to just cast aside her feelings of friendship and cut the bond Marinette and Adrien shared, all so Kagami could take Adrien back.
To Tomoe, Kagami was never meant to have a say on how she felt if things were already decided for her. Anytime Kagami did attempt to express her feelings on a matter, her mother never hesitated to belittle her for it. Kagami's choice was whatever her mother's demands were, and unbeknownst to Kagami, her entire life had already been decided, from the kind of person she should be, to who she would spend the rest of her life with.
(In "Protection, Tomoe rejects Kagami's reasoning to not take Adrien back, believing that Kagami's feelings on the matters of being devoted to her friends is ridiculous and must end it if it prevents her from taking what she wants. )
When Kagami dated Adrien in the past, Tomoe and Gabriel were aware of their romance, but were not aware of the breakup they quickly faced in "Lies", until "Protection". Needless to say, they were not happy with the news. Gabriel and Tomoe decided long ago that Kagami and Adrien were never meant to have a say on the matters of who they chose to love, they had to marry each other because the two of them were supposed to be perfect for one another, a plan that obviously backfired the more Kagami and Adrien lived out their own lives.
Kagami knew Adrien loved Marinette, and for them, she was willing to keep her pain hidden so as to not cause them any hurt, but being pulled back and forth between abiding by her mothers demands and remaining a loyal friend, left her desperate to talk to a friend who was willing to listen to her woes, and the only one she could turn too to trust, who would not be involved with both Marinette and Adrien, was Lila, who sadly was quick to use Kagami's pain as an advantage to ruin Marinette (more here). To hear her mother tell her to take back Adrien was one thing, but to hear her so-called “best friend” tell her the same thing, was on a whole other level.
Near the end of "Protection", after Lila's lies about Marinette were cleared (more here), Kagami blamed herself for failing to push away the emotions she believed would only cause trouble. Despite her mistakes, Marinette and Adrien know Kagami could not be that perfect person for them, no one can, they have all made their share of mistakes every day of their lives and Kagami was no different. They appreciated Kagami's efforts to be a good friend, but they also cared for her and her well being, and what they wished most for Kagami was for her to not push away her emotions, but to instead acknowledge and learn from them.
( Marinette gave Kagami the words her own mother would never dare say herself, let alone accept, which was that emotions don't have to be a weakness. If you are willing to face your own emotions and understand what they are telling you, they can be turned into a strength.)
It was important for Kagami to know that Marinette and Adrien loved her just the way she is. Kagami may be strong willed, but she is still very innocent, she may seem perfect, but she is still very flawed just like everyone else, and just like everyone else, she didn’t have to feel ashamed for simply having emotions. The Tsurugi legacy, and Tomoe, taught Kagami to view her emotions as a weakness, but if being friends with Marinette and Adrien has taught Kagami anything, it's that sometimes it's good to listen to advice from the friends who love and cherish you.
The moment Kagami realized her friends saw no shame in her simply trying to tell them how she felt as best she could, was the moment Kagami admitted what she felt all along, but tried so hard to hide, which was that watching the love her two friends had for each other, hurt.
Marinette and Adrien might have felt compelled to apologized to Kagami for their love causing her so much pain, but Kagami knew it was not their fault, they did nothing wrong by choosing to love each other and she now knows it was not wrong to feel the way she did either, to speak out about those feeling rather than bottle them all up. But for her to simply let go of a past love and a future she thought she was meant to have, all in an instant, was not something she could easily do so long as she was constantly reminded of what she had and what could have been, she understood that she had to move on, but it had to be done with time.
To follow her mother's advice to take back Adrien, regardless of the pain it would cause her friends, was out of the question, and to look past the lies Lila told was not to be easily forgotten. Kagami may be a Tsurugi, but the things that her family were willing to do, and the emotions they were willing to sacrifice, all to obtain the victory they wanted, no longer felt right, and neither did giving up on any friendships she felt were meaningful and genuine, including Lila's, who's friendship will take Kagami time to realize was never real.

When Ladybug says everything is just so natural between them (her and Adrien) that they don't even need to talk about it all...she means Cat really. They both find it so easy to talk to each other. She definitely knows it when he takes off at the end of this scene.

LET'S BAN US SOME BOOKS
A new law will bring Utah into the 21st Century so we can start banning books with the rest of the red states. While middle school kids in blue states will be reading pornography and masturbating, our students will be learning real values, such as slavery was like technical school. And of course, they won't be exposed to that Critical Race Theory about how some Americans are more equal than others. It could make the kids feel bad. Utah's new law works like this: If three or more districts believe a book contains “objective sensitive material,” then all other districts must ban it. It's kind of like Texas Hold 'Em but in reverse. There is one fly in the ointment, however. Nobody knows for sure what “objective sensitive material” is. One parent's porn may be another's art. Goya's Maja desnuda may not be Playboy's Miss August, but it could still give boys too much to think about — if you know what we mean. But as for books, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”, “Milk and Honey”, and “Looking for Alaska” are some of the most banned books the U.S. They, of course, are nothing like “The Tropic of Cancer”or “The Diary of Anais Nin,” which were banned and must reading for Wilson and the band back in junior high. You're right Wilson, if you want kids to read a book, just ban it.
$900 MILLION FOR A BALLPARK — YEAH, THAT'S THE TICKET
Here's an idea: Let's move the Salt Lake's Triple-A Bees baseball team from what used to be Dirk's Field (now Smith's Ballpark) at 1300 S. West Temple — where they played for 100 years — to West Jordan. Sure, it's like moving Fenway Park to Brookline but what's tradition, anymore. Then let's get Salt Lake City taxpayers to pony up $900 million to build a Major League Baseball stadium near North Temple and Redwood Road in a gamble that we could lure an expansion team here. Cool, right. The Larry H. Miller Co. owns the Bees and wants to build the new stadium complex. The question remains, will they sell cars there? Think of it, reduced ticket prices for fans willing to take a test drive. Our lawmakers just love MLB. It's so great when the Utah Legislature takes authority from Salt Lake City. Well, OK, Wilson, you're right, they're always saying, “the government closest to the people governs best,” but why let the city mess it up when lawmakers have already demonstrated they can mess it up better. Remember the much ballyhooed Inland Port. What ever happened to that, anyway. It's reminiscent of our Cold Fusion Institute. But we digress. Baseball is good for the soul. And think how good Salt Lakers souls will feel. It's not like $900 million is too much for that. Is it?
Post script — That's going to do it for another chilling week here at Smart Bomb where we keep track of outrage so you don't have to. You know Wilson, you and the guys in the band might be among the few souls who aren't outraged. It's a good argument for the legalization of pot. It's hard to be outraged when you're stoned. The fact that International Transgender Day of Visibility fell on Easter this year was more than enough to throw right-wingers into a frenzy. In fact, a Fox News co-host, Lisa Boothe, said it was part of a scheme to overthrow the Almighty. She obviously hasn't read the Old Testament. Back to the New Testament and Jesus of Nazareth — students at state-run colleges in Utah may see more of him. Proposed legislation that did not pass in this year's legislature would have college general-ed classes focus on western civilization and “the rise of Christianity.” Stay tuned. It's puzzling why so many so-called Christians are full of rage. Love Jesus and Trump or your toast. By the way, there's been a breakthrough: Jesus apparently wasn't blonde. The latest info is that he had brown skin and dark hair. He did wear sandals, however, and they weren't Birkenstocks. Outrageous.
Well, heck Wilson, now that Easter is over and Christmas is nine months away we don't have to worry about Jesus for awhile. But still, we ought to close out with a little something for the folks who would like to know more about His life and times beyond the glossy stuff in Sunday school. So tell the band to put down their Trump Bibles and take it away:
Jesus was a Capricorn He ate organic food He believed in love and peace And never wore no shoes Long hair, beard and sandals And a funky bunch of friends Reckon we'd just nail him up If he came down again 'Cause everybody's gotta have somebody to look down on Prove they can be better than at any time they choose Someone doin' somethin' dirty decent folks can frown on If you can't find nobody else, then help yourself to me Eggheads fussin' rednecks cussin' Hippies for their hair Others laugh at straights who laugh at Freaks who laugh at squares Some folks hate the Whites Who hate the Blacks who hate the Klan Most of us hate anything that We don't understand

MLB SEASON 6 FELINETTE'S BIG TRACK IN JEREMY ZAG'S VIDEO (new Miraculous scenarios via Instagram) ANALYSIS AND FELINETTE CLUES FOR S6 PART 6 marinette's balcony :TRAY part2
TRAY part1
} animaestro S3
In this chapter the focus is Thomas Astruc, and the PV, therefore, felix, felinette, adrien and adrigami.
This chapter is the definitive proof that the felinette will become canon and that Félix will be one of the main protagonists (both as argos and chatnoir) of the series for S6 onwards...but also of the adrinette breakup.
also that part of the PV WILL COME TO LIFE, but logically with some changes (for example: clearly the animation is not the same)
And through Thomas they tell us about Felix!! and the little attention given to this character, making a subtle reference to the fact that as fans we love Adrien more than Félix, (something that is quite real) the fact that he akumatizes himself and wants everyone to pay attention to it, it is a reference to the fact that in S6 Félix will be a very protagonist and we would like so much that Adrien was forgotten, let's go for the steps, to begin with, all the animations of Animaestro are connected with something related to FELIX/ARGOS
BUT HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ANIMATION:
HERE THEY LITERALLY TELL YOU THAT FELIX IS THE REAL CHATNOIR, THE REAL HERO, AND YES, he is a dog, they changed him, why? So that the clue was clearer, this animation is a reference to Felix the cat, who carried the dog's miraculous? Felix (flarmidable) so the clue was clearer, otherwise it would become confusing, but this is not It only confirms him as a chatnoir, otherwise part of the ideas of his powers in the pv would be recovered, for example, this one we see, the BLACK HOLE (if they do this I will love them forever, because it will be very fun to see the villains fall ahahahaha).
So with this we can verify that Felix will be the authentic hero, and true companion of Ladybug, that competent chatnoir for which the fandom has always asked and asked Thomas and his team, and Adrien's chantoir will be forgotten.
Now as for her civilian role, she will also be her great companion and friend and we can see this through the role of Marinette, she IS A WAITER, but this is not her role, she is a baker, so what does this refer to, clearly the cafeteria, the coffees, the tea and therefore Felix, do you remember that in the first post we analyzed that the cafeteria would be Félix's workplace?
Here is the full post where we analyze it in detail.
This CONFIRMS, while Marinette makes cakes, HE SERVES THEM, THEY ARE THE PERFECT TEAM. Surely we will see something like this in the series, it will be seen that Felix really enjoys the sweets and macarons that she makes, that is why they play such an important role in this chapter, and that is why we also see the cup and the iron teapot in this chapter:
Now, as we have said, the breakup of the Adrianette is confirmed, and this is seen with the presence of Kagami and Chloe,
This does not imply that Kagami is clearly going to get in the middle of Adrianette's relationship, this will be little by little starting in the middle of S6 or a little later, she is bad and will hurt Marinette.
Adrien will choose Kagami and abandon Marinette, possibly being unfaithful to her, this not only premonizes the fact that yes, they are paired as we saw in S5 but that in the future they will get married, not just because Tomoe says so, If not because Adrien really loved her.
They are preparing a Miraculous World special as we said about Japan, so it is possible that this special will be very important and they will give us adrigami clues, maybe the iconic tea ceremony between Adrien and Kagami, whatever it may be, yes Or yes, Kagami is going to get into the relationship and break it, maybe the protagonist's lies will help that breakup, because Adrien HATES LIES.
I honestly don't think there is a kidnapping, but Marinette can understand that, without knowing that Adrien wants to be with her, believing the idea that Adrien would never be unfaithful to her or that he would never lie,...she says again that she is bad, so kagami confirmed all the villain ballots.
____________________________________
Who uses it? Sabine, confirms the adrigami on the one hand because through Sabine they tell us about Kagami (because her way of being and customs, painting) implying that Adrien really feels at peace with Kagami, that he really loves her because she is sincere, unlike Marinette, and on the other hand the felinette, because through her she tells us about Marinette and that she will feel better with Félix, because he will really be there for her, this can be confirmed because at the moment in which she He is having tea, that is when Tom looks for help with the tasting, to serve and Marinette offers to be a waitress, there we have the reference to Félix's work and how he will help Marinette with tasks related to the bakery, etc. .
} weredad S3
In this chapter the focus is Tom's father, but there are also slight references to RENA ROUGE and therefore to KAGAMI.
This chapter is to clarify that ADRIEN DOES NOT LOVE MARINETTE, as she is, HE ONLY LOVES HER PERFECT SIDE, LADYBUG AND THE CREATION OF THIS CHAPTER IS TO PREPARE THE GROUND IN S6 ONWARDS, BECAUSE IT WILL HAVE CONSEQUENCES ON ADRINETTE, Adrien does not He loves Marinette and when he finds out who is behind the mask, HE WILL BE DISAPPOINTED, SO? What happens as Ephemeral? And Origins? ETC...ALL THOSE CHAPTER SCENES, WHERE HE SAYS: "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO IS HIDING BEHIND THE MASK, I LOVE HER AND BLA BLA BLA", it's not Adrien, it's Félix, HE WOULD LOVE HER FOR WHAT SHE IS, IN THOSE SEQUENCES THERE IS A FELIX HINT INCLUDED TO ENSURE IT IS THE:
NOW, we understand that her father wants to protect her from all harm but above all, FROM LONELINESS, HOWEVER, WHO FINDS THE SOLUTION? AHA MARINETTE, MARINETTE LEAVES THAT PRISON OF "LONELINESS".
WHICH MAKES US UNDERSTAND THAT AS WE HAVE SAID, IN THE END SHE WILL KNOW HOW TO LOVE AND ACCEPT HERSELF AS IT IS, TO LOVE ANOTHER FIRST YOU HAVE TO LOVE YOU, RIGHT? SHE SAVES HERSELF....THIS CHAPTER IS A CO-SIGNATURE OF THIS FOR s6 GOING ON, it is neither Félix nor Chat who saves her, but it will be Félix who supports her in that process,
Here they tell us clearly, CHATNOIR IS NOT THE CHOSEN ONE, HE WILL RATHER MAKE THINGS WORSE, AS ALWAYS, but when using the WORD "charming", it comes from charm and that comes from spell, spell = magic, and this is a reference to Félix (he is the WIZARD), so he will be the one who in some way helps in her rescue, BE CAREFUL, HELP, NOT RESCUE, we can all have a friend to help us, we can't always do everything alone, now, then another girl occupies the well, she is kagami and we see this in the volovales that they eat, which indicate to us that chatnoir really DOES NOT LOVE HER.
____________________________________
WHO USE IT? Sabine when Tom is preparing the volovanes, through SABINE talking to us about Kagami and Marinette, this is seen both in her style and in what she does in her day (she is a baker and paints, reference to Kagami) the fact of The fact that she is using it tells us that Adrien's love for Marinette is definitely an illusion and that he does not love her, and this is confirmed when at that moment TOM TALKS ABOUT HOW EXCITED HE IS BECAUSE CHATNOIR IS WITH MARINETTE AND THAT HE LOVES HER, THAT EVERYTHING THE WORLD LOVES HER, TO WHICH THE MOTHER TELLS HER THAT HE HASN'T SAID YES YET!! THAT HE'S RETURNING... TOM MAKES VOLOVANS WITH CANDIED ORANGE WHICH IS A CLEAR REFERENCE TO THE LIE...and that it will hurt Marinette to discover the truth, but she will take that moment for herself and find her inner peace and accept herself, which we said above. Adrien really loves kagami and not marinette.
Like, reblog and follow me if you like it, also to see more content of this type

MLB Season 4 Character Analysis: "Dearest Family"
Introduction
Hey everyone, I'm back with another season 4 character analysis and this time it's "Dearest Family". You may be wondering where my analysis for "Qilin" is so the answer is that it got removed for some reason and I have no idea why because I made it just like my other posts so far so until I get the answer and understand what's going on we're going to be moving on with episode 21. If you're new to this series then here I look at our favourite MLB characters in depth in every individual episode of season 4 in order to give an overall picture of the characters' journey throughout the season.
Yeah, so "Dearest Family", good episode. We see for the first time that our perfect little kwami, Tikki is not as perfect as she seems due to her obsession over sweets, Marinette trying to figure out what it all means, and her family members arguing over what's best for her. So this analysis is probably going to have the most characters POVs we've had since "Crocoduel". So let's get started.
Character POVs
Tikki
"I was afraid you would thing less of me. Because of my cravings"
For the very first time, we see Tikki have some weaknesses and some characterization. Ever since the beginning, Tikki has always just been Marinette's guide and bright-side-up to help her through difficult times but never had any character of her own. But here, we see that she has cravings for new and unique sweets that happens every few hundred years and according to Plagg, the last time it happened was when chocolate was invented and she made it rain chocolate for eight weeks.
The reason for Tikki's abnormal food cravings compared to other kwamis is due to her being the kwami of creation which makes a lot of sense. Tikki's sweet cravings seem to be so dangerous that all the other kwamis in the Miracle Box are afraid of her and that says a lot. These cravings went to the extent that she even used her power without having a holder which caused a giant galette bigger than the Earth to be made and affected the Earth's gravity but thankfully it was destroyed by Cat Noir as Astro Cat.
When Tikki saw that her cravings were taking her away from Marinette, she stopped as her worst fear, as she stated to Marinette, being afraid that her cravings would make her think less of her, came to reality which really shows how much she cares about her relationship with Marinette and shows the strength of her bond with her. When Marinette tell her that she can help her overcome her weaknesses, this is what gives her strength to try to overcome her cravings.
2. Marinette/Ladybug
"Of course not! I'll always like you, Tikki. Everyone has weaknesses, you know. Let me help you overcome yours. Just like you helped me overcome mine."
This episode is seems that the roles of Marinette and Tikki have been reversed. Tikki has always been the one to help Marinette with her problems and share wisdom on what she should do and encourage her to be better. But now Marinette is making it up to Tikki by helping her overcome her weaknesses.
When Marinette first discovered that Tikki's craving, she was in denial that Tikki had some sort of problem as she believes that she knows Tikki best even when the other kwamis warned her about Tikki's cravings. She tried to control the situation by stopping her from eating their family's galette and transforming into Ladybug to prevent her from eating more which backfired as she got the craving as well when she was transformed.
When Marinette saw that Tikki was going as far as using her power without a holder to appease her cravings, she realized her mistake and admitted that Sass was right about Tikki and she didn't know her as well as she thought and when Tikki revealed to her that the reason why she never told her about her cravings was because she believed that she would think less of her, Marinette assured her that they would work to overcome her weaknesses together just like Tikki has always helped Marinette with her weaknesses.
3. Sabine
"The person who knows best what Marinette needs is Marinette herself!"
Moving onto the family argument on what is best for Marinette, we'll start with Sabine. From her perspective, Marinette is the only person who knows what's best for her and she's old enough to do so and she is the one I most agree with.
We've seen how Marinette is good with planning and is always helping other people and coming up with great ideas, both as a civilian and as Ladybug. It's best to treat her as someone with her own individuality and her own mind and let her to make her own choices. And by the end of the episode too this is what we see them go with: letting Marinette decide what she thinks about getting a motorbike as a gift from her grandmother and decide whether she is old enough for a gift like that.
4. Tom
"I know my little girl better than anyone else and I think that bike is way too dangerous for her"
Next we have Tom, who believes that Marinette needs some like him to protect her and he believes that the motorbike that Gina got for Marinette is too dangerous for her which makes sense for his character considering the events of "Weredad", where he gets akumatized because he wants to protect her little girl, Marinette from heartbreak.
Tom cares about his daughter a lot and would go to great lengths to protect her, he even stated in "Stoneheart (Origins Part 2)" that he would protect her if Ladybug and Cat Noir failed to do so which at the time seemed like it was just a lighthearted joke but we know from "Weredad" now that it's true. By the end of this episode though, he realizes that he should let Marinette decide if the gift is best for her and their conflict is resolved.
5. Gina
"Happy Birthday, Marinetta!"
Next we have Gina, who was the one got Marinette the motorbike for her birthday which she didn't realize was just months ago due to her not spending much time with them as she travels the world on her motorbike.
The last time when she arrived to visit Marinette, she believed that Marinette was younger than she actually is due to the same problem that cause her to not realize that Marinette's birthday was months ago in this episode and it was in that episode that she realized that Marinette was no longer a little girl who ate candies and liked doing things like going to the petting zoo and going on the merry-go-round and was now a young woman who liked hanging out with her friends. So it makes sense for her now to get her a big girl gift like a motorbike and believing that Marinette is old enough for something like that. By the end of the episode though, she lets Marinette decide what she thinks and when Marinette decided that she was still to young for the bike, Gina was OK with it.
6. Rolland
"How can anyone have their head so far up in the clouds? A birthday is a birthday and a Galette's Day is a Galette's Day!"
Lastly, we have Rolland who still seems to be a little old-fashioned from "Simpleman". When Gina brings the motorbike as a gift for Marinette he believes that Marinette is not old enough to have one yet similar to Tom and believes that Marinette still requires discipline to be able to ride the bike.
This makes sense for Rolland's character as it's traditional for someone only to be able to have a motorbike when they are around 21 and before that they can't drive at all. Unlike, Tom he believes that Marinette needs someone to teach her about order and discipline before she can ride a motorbike and not someone to protect her. By the end of the episode, he realizes that he should take Marinette's choice into account and when Marinette decides that she's not old enough for the bike but instead should have a mini-scooter, he is OK with it
Conclusion
Well, that's the end of this analysis. Hope you enjoyed reading. This took a while to do with all the characters but I'm finally done. As always, let me know your thoughts on this analysis and let me know if I missed anything for any of the characters this episode. Until next time!
