I designed the doll and I’m planning to sell the dolls at the Dunmeshi event planned to be held in Korea next year (I’m not going to sell my OC, I’m just going to design other dunmeshi characters)

I think I will design main Laios party, Kabru and Rinsha, and Pattadol (I adore her)

Alright everyone do we want to listen to the Shadow identity crisis song the Shadow ptsd attack song or the Shadow existential angst song. Alexa play I Am All of Me. Alexa play Rhythm and Balance. Alexa play The Chosen One.

Appealing to the tiny overlap between Dungeon Meshi and Sonic fandoms. Mithrun is also like Omega in many ways (stoic but enthusiastic about maiming). Hm sometimes team Dark just be Mithrun, Cithis and Lycion... I need Mithrun to get a voice like Shadow’s in the anime soo bad please, raspy and deep... Parched throat with 0 intent or motivation to intonate aka low and pretty flat

Okok let’s gooo assigning characters chars, Fleki Sticks, Izutsumi Sonic because she craves freedom, Kabru Knuckles because he’s all about duty and isolates himself… Laios & Falin, Surge & Kit because it'd be funky and their parents want them to be people they aren’t :) Everyone having matching Sonic phone straps would be so cute. The context in that comic was that both groups passed each other by at the grocery store and Mithrun's big flashy merch sure is big and flashy (which happens to be quite bothersome for him) Laios is a Metal fan. Reasons: 1) he’s cool and murderous and there is a causal link there. 2) He transforms into a dragon once and it’s both empowering and angsty. 3) "No one SEES who he IS!!" says Laios and I as we burst into tears. Also Fleki is a big Team Chaotix fan I know it in my heart

You know it’d be fun drawing what Shadow’s dungeon would be like if he was dungeon lord. I’d imagine something like Mithrun’s. The ARK, but with flowers growing everywhere for her, his dead sister alive and well besides him as they live isolated from the rest of the world. It’s all fake, but Shadow’s heart feels at peace for the first time in so long, he is at home. See, they’re similar

hey. hey. if any of you watched/watch community, there's this episode where the gang build a giant pillow fort that takes up the whole college campus. so you get the idea, the campus throws a sleepover where everyone can just come inside the fort with their pajamas, pillows, plushies, food, whatever you want. laios tells toshiro about this and asks if he wants to come hang with his friends and he politely declines and says he has to study all night and he's tired from kendo and aikido so he doesn't want to. laios bemoans about it but decides to just let it go.

then later in the night kabru and mithrun come to their dorm and start grabbing blankets and pillows and stuff. toshiro's neck deep in studying and he turns back like "what are you guys doing?" and mithrun says "we're going to the fort." and kabru says "yeah we're going to the fort." and toshiro just stares at them like ? and when he follows them outside he sees everyone coming out of their dorms in their pjs with their belongings.

like shit is THAT SERIOUS it's like a campus tradition. toshiro calls namari on the phone and when she picks up she says "oh me and kiki are chilling in the fort in the west hall you should come" and toshiro is like "how many people are at this sleepover???" he gets a text from falin in the gc, her and marcille are surrounded by seal plushes. laios sends a video of him having pillow fights. toshiro shuts off his phone. HE NEEDS TO STUDY and everyone is slacking for a sleepover! how ridiculous!

he tries to focus on studying then he gets back pains. he can't really focus anymore. he has muscle soreness. his head slightly hurts. he should go to bed, but he hears people laughing and talking outside, dorm doors closing, everyone else seems to be awake while he's struggling to stay awake.

giving in, when it's literally three in the morning, he gets changed in one of those satin robes because he's classy, puts on his bedroom slippers, and gets a blanket and pillow in defeat. then his favorite rhino beetle plush laios got for him their first date.

this is stupid, he keeps telling himself. this is so stupid. he's been studying for 7 hours straight yet he remembers the exact location laios said he was setting up camp in. he's awkwardly crawling through the fort and excusing himself. just to be on the safe side, he's asking his peers if they've seen laios and they guide him closer to where he is.

when he gets there, he hears laios whisper "pssst hey toshiro!" and toshiro sees laios there in his shark onesie. he looks so silly in person toshiro can't help but giggle uncontrollably.

laios doesn't care though because he's so happy to see toshiro here. he says "you were studying forever, we thought you'd never come!" and toshiro asks, "we?" it just so happened most of their friends were still awake because they were all waiting for toshiro to come. toshiro's at a loss of words and says they really didn't have to, but they insist and say laios refused to give up until he comes and joins them.

in the knick of time, senshi and chilchuck come back with freshly baked desserts for the whole party.

everyone digs in and toshiro is the last to do so because he feels kind of bad about keeping them waiting. then senshi offers him a chocolate chip cookie. toshiro eats it, and notices they're all looking at him.

he's not really used to people doing such acts of kindness, so it makes him cry, and laios panics "TOSHIRO ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" and toshiro laughs as he wipes his few tears, saying, "yes, it's just really good. [the cookie] thank you everyone, for waiting for me."

it's a sappy moment, they don't tease toshiro or make him feel embarrassed for getting emotional, because they get it. it makes him feel more closer to them than before. they have snacks, do a DnD session, and end up falling asleep.

laios curls up on toshiro's lap and rests his head there. toshiro gives laios head-pats until he falls asleep. he's not sure if he'll get any rest here tonight but he's really glad he came.

the sleep catches up to him in the morning though. when laios wakes up he makes sure to sit up and lift the blankets over them both so toshiro can lean on his shoulder.

1. Valley of The Dolls by MARINA

She animates them to fight, but they're also there to soothe her. She also adopts a lot of children from short-lived races who don't have a family and she got allegations that she treats them all like her dolls lmao... I mean she kind of does in the sense that they're all precious to her. She does respect their autonomy but uhhh still living with such a doting and overbearing/overprotective mother makes u wanna break outta the dollhouse the cage . be free . hashtag transgenderism also gosh im getting off topic . anyway i bet Kabru slept with a lotta those dolls. in his comfy bed . that he left behind because hes not abt that life mama he wanna see the world and save it and get killed in dungeons. boy.

"Got a hole inside of me / Living with identities / That do not belong to me" -> Grouping these lyrics together because it makes sense for my twisted narrative i mean my very real and based takes. Anyway, he's got a hole inside of him the void in his heart (in his mind) and thats why. his autism and ptsd masking swag. thats as eloquent as i can put it. theres a lot more i can say though

"In my life, I got this far" -> He survived the tragedy of Utaya his hometown . the bloodbath because of the dungeon. It has to be for a purpose ™ . It's because he has to save the world from suffering the same fate and it's his burden to bear it's his purpose it was why he survived (the survivor's guilt... goodness man. trauma processing of all time. :[ )

"Now I'm ready for the last hoorah" -> boy . letting these panels speak for itself. putting it under the cut because spoilers for the peeps seeing this maintagged and they're not caught up with manga .

"Dying like a shooting star" -> guy keeps dying. not even like a shooting star really. well. ig hes going out in style somewhat id getting crushed by Falin's chimera dragon claw counts as shooting star style

2. Lip Sinking by The Hoosiers

We all know Sash does not play about The Hoosiers which is why I have 26 damn The Hoosiers songs on there I should get awarded tbh .

Now Lip Sinking is really good because it's another one of those scammer / masking guy anthems i keep talking about. These lyrics in Verse 5 in particular is really easy to match to Kabru's character moment™ though, so let's break it down.

"I float above my body" -> Common depersonalization experience. For trauma reasons, Kabru probably feels like this a lot sometimes but specifically in this scene...

anyway, back to the show (psychoanalyzing Kabru) . I think this disconnect with his words VS his thoughts and his heart is so real. Like. seeing urself out of ur body is again a depersonalization thing, and idk if hes feeling depersonalization in this moment specifically but he was really out of it and in a sort of , scrambled and intensely anxious state. His usually calm and cool persona slash facade is Crumbling and man he hates that .

"Must be out of my mind / Cos I watch myself / Getting it wrong everytime" -> He's like. man what the hell am I saying

letting the page speak for itself again because It's like. its there i mean its in tha text what am I supposed to dissect hes dissecting himself already 🤭😭 okay. 'What am I saying' 'I can't find the words' so true man idk what the hell im saying either rn

"I can't tell you how I'm really feeling" -> because he doesn't know his own emotions. He thinks he does, he has been so good at controlling them and like being fake about what he's truly feeling in his heart, adjusting his personality for others' sake. So they trust him, believe in him, listen to him. But for Laios, how does he even say anything? Before this, the words just spilling out, he didn't even know how he felt about Laios. It sounds ridiculous even to himself and that's why he clamps his mouth afterwards but indeed it Is what he was truly feeling all along... (and then Laios thinks he's lying and hes like "NO BITCH!!!? what?!!!?! im being vulnerable and honest rn?!?" )

"Cuz I'm just lip-syncing" -> for so long that's what he's been doing. lip syncing, saying things he doesn't really mean to influence others' perception of him... but this time his mouth moved faster than his mind racing with thoughts. that he's able to convey what he truly wanted all along and finally admit to himself and his own consciousness. like. aaaahgh. man hes so special to meeee....

bonus: the outro's lyrics is rlly good aha. he can finally say what he actually feels... he can be #real.

3. Allies or Enemies by The Crane Wives

This one is . a lot of vibes I think.

"Are we allies or enemies? / This will be the death of me / This will be the death of me" -> He legit says this to Laios . like hes still wondering if they're allies or enemies . Technically he doesn't want them to be enemies. he's cautious but he knows Laios isn't really a bad guy but like, his mind just keeps fixating on Laios and the steps he takes to get the dungeon under control so. hes desperately trying to figure it out because goodness this guy is so. waugh

"All is fair in love and war, but I can't fight with you anymore / This will be the death of me" -> his mental conflict is sooo tasty to me. like . all is fair in love and war !!! any method is justifiable !!! means justifies the ends but also he understands that in the end he can't fully wrap his head around Laios' love of monsters but he knows that Laios will be the one to conquer the dungeon because he also loves his family. He can't fight with him anymore and he can't "kill" him anymore because somehow this man has wormed his way in. well, he never wanted him dead in the first place but I find that he often thinks about killing him to save humanity from his... well. freakishness (complimentary) (concerning sometimes) ;;; but in the end Kabru lets him go and is willing to trust and support Laios till the end ... also once again the repetitiveness of "this will be the death of me" because he's stressed as helll!!!!

"What happens now, do we have another go?" -> I think this is post-Marcille being talked down out of being dungeon lord . Kabru's probably like ok so now what. well. Laios goes its my turn with the dungeon lording 😭😭 (and shit goes down) (but its okay he got it covered)

"Do we bow out and take our seperate roads?" -> Now this is probably when they're (the whole gang) is like "WHERE'S LAIOS DID HE DIE?" no he lives guys its fine. and namari toshiro and kabru run at him in relief. wauh. and also ofc the whole people coming together to eat faligon meat and save Falin ... yippeee... so yeah they don't go seperate roads because Kabru is like yeah imma be Laios' pr manager . #royaladvisor . sticking with him fr fr

"I'll admit I had my doubts / But I want to be let in, not out / But I want to be let in, not out" -> again the repetition ... of him wanting to help. I've mostly been talking abt how this entire song is Kabru's conflicted thoughts @ Laios but this can also be Kabru lending a helping hand to Mithrun at the end of everything. Because he's the one to like help Mithrun realize that there is a purpose to living and like . new desires and ppl who care abt him... but also yeah Kabru "i want to be let in, not out" because he wants to help out Laios with running the new kingdom instead of being in the background again and being ignored ahhaa he wants to be friends for real (and maybe even . lovers. lets go gay people)

ROUND 3 MATCH 51: RAMSEY VS. MITHRUN

CANON rat/gerbil man. this is referred to several times in the showtakes art commisions online. including furry art iirc (second part is referenced in a charity stream i think?) tried to fight someone with a packet of crayons (granted he did turn the tips to gold but it's the crayons that count) smart lil man. before getting eraser cuffed (therefore forgetting his epithet) he wrote the basics of it down and then somehow managed to kick ass really well even though he didn't know exactly was the epithet was at the time. 'probably' divorced according to his character card. hates birds. absolutely despises them. tumblr sexyman status. is on the sexypedia and everythinghe's just a silly guy i love him. FOR KABRU? i will gladly do ALL of these. i'll just slap it under the cut because oh my goodness, i kinda wrote a whole ass essay.

happiness. kabru puts on different masks daily to make sure he completes his goals, more often meaning that you'll come across him wearing a fake smile sometimes. but if you ever get a chance to see a REAL smile from him? it's like standing under the warm sunshine, he just radiates soothing energy. kabru normally isn't one for physical touch most of the time, but if he's in a really good mood, you'll notice him standing closer, maybe even putting a hand on your shoulder. subtle yet small signs.

things they like. this one kind of falls under hobbies as well i guess? but kabru has a liking for weapons, all kinds. because of this, i think he likely has a big collection of different kinds of melee weapons in his home, and he's quite proficient in most of them. he's always looking to better prepare and equip himself for dungeon expeditions.

i can also see him maybe collecting small artifacts that originate from his homeland. utaya was destroyed, but there could always have been small fragments of photographs, treasures, jewelry, books and other such items which may have survived the disaster. kabru will try to get his hands on such things whenever he can.

also in terms of favourite foods though, his number one is tomatoes. but for other things he likes? i can see him liking heavily spiced foods, as well as fish/seafood.

fear. ever since the utaya incident back when he was young, kabru has had trouble sleeping sometimes thanks to the night terrors he's plagued by. there's different ways he deals with it, sometimes he'll just stay awake, maybe drink a little bit, but there's a secret method he sometimes uses if none of the other's work. y'know those plushies he used to have at misiril's house? i think he kept at least one of them. try as he might to deny his dependence on it, if he's really struggling to sleep some nights, he'll grab it and put it on his bed with him. and 99% of the time, it works.

season. i think kabru is favorable to the heat than he is the cold. part of this is because of his early childhood, as from what remnants we've seen from utaya, it looked to be inspired by indian countries, which typically have a warmer climate compared to other places. summer is the time of year you'll usually see him out and about the most, whereas in winter, he'll usually be cooped up inside desperately trying to get warm. it doesn't help after so many resurrections in the dungeons that his body has become rather thin, meaning he doesn't have much body fat to keep himself warm, thus leading for his distaste for colder weather.

habit. i mean, we already know this man sleeps in the nude based on that one extra. but for other habits? he forgets his basic necessities more often than not, such as eating and sleeping. he pretty much needs someone breathing down his neck sometimes to remind him. but i think he could honestly have a habit of playing with his hair too? like, getting a couple curls and twirling it around a finger or something when he's lost in thought maybe.

hobby. well, judging from small snippets we've seen in the manga, kabru does know how to cook, albeit extremely basically. although he's nowhere as interested in such things compared to laios, it's still something he partakes in from time to time, especially when it comes to dishes that mean a lot to him. these mainly include foods he ate a lot as a child, such as when he cooked mithrun the lamb stew his mother had taught him to make, as well as the extra where we see him showcasing a dessert from utaya. i also think he'd probably be a big reader and even writer.

what would lycion be like if he regressed? i feel like hes the type to play a lot outside. i imagine he probably has [a] wolf plush[ies] that he carries around too... id love hcs abt this in general!

Warning for nondescript mentions of trauma!

• I actually see him as an indoor kid!

• He's got a wolf plushie that Fleki managed to get for him, but he clings more to his bird plushie.

• He's a young kiddo! He regresses from about 2-4, though it can be hard to pin point perfectly

• He doesn't really trust others with his regression. He regresses due to trauma, and repressed it for a long time. He's only now trying to accept it himself with Fleki's help.

• Going canon divergent here (because canon makes me sad ;w;), but!!! After being released from prison, him and Fleki moves in with each other and they learn that Lycion actually loves gardening. He typically prefers to stay inside doing puzzles, stacking things, and napping, but when he does have to go outside he lovess helping in the garden!!

• Sometimes he'll have playdates with Mithrun and they'll just hang out in the garden together.

• Has to be stopped from eating plants, though.

• He tends to throw tantrums when regressed, and it's about the only time he's able to cry so he's superrr fussy. He tends to regress when having flashbacks or feeling extra dysphoric/dysmorphic, so it can be hard for him.

• Fleki and Mithrun are really the only ones who can calm him down when he's upset. Fleki cheers him up easily and he's veryyy attached to her, and Mithrun's chill affects him.

• Lovesss being in his beastkin form when regressed. Less likely to be upset that way, and it makes him more comfortable. Will wag his tail and demand scritches.

1. how did they find out about age regression? did they stumble upon it online? did a friend tell them about it?

he didn't realize he'd been experiencing age regression until Milsiril talked to him about it! she noticed some signs, and asked him about it, explained things, etc...

10. do they have any regression gear (teethers, pacifiers, diapers, specific toys or outfits, etc.)? do they try to hide it from friends/family?

Milsiril gifts him lots of plushies, and they've learned that diapers are a good idea since he has trouble with knowing he needs to go in general and more trouble vocalizing. i kinda see him as regressing to anywhere from a few months to a few years (in irl human times, I'll probably do the math for it proper if i write a fic). anyways, he also has sippy cups and pacifiers (his brother and Milsiril really like spoiling him, and they've gotten Kabru in on it too)

11. do they fall into any 'regressor stereotypes' (baby talk, loving disney movies, liking pastels, etc.), or do they diverge from the 'norm' (liking horror media, regressing to an older age, etc.)?

hmmm... hard to say! he has trouble speaking when regressed, but he's just not really sure what it is he likes, so it can be a point of contention for him. (sorry to my friend but i can't think of mithrun without plants now—) but he really likes plants and trying to help garden when he can. they calm him down and he finds them fascinating, he'll just lay outside and watch the flowers for hours. very easy to keep him entertained.
