12/18/22 Finally after 10 days of grey and no sunsets, the sun broke through this afternoon and we had some beautiful sky painting. I was at the Soapy Sam's Carwash (no joke!) next to the Catholic church in Granger. As I exited, I saw the sky; although I didn't have a ton of time to catch it in the open fields, I enjoyed what I could see. The grey sky permacloud is so rough day after day. Missing the vitamin C that the souk gives me every morning✨☀️. Are you getting enough vitamins? Every morning, I am more conscious what I intake in my body. I used to rush out with a toast & espresso to work in the old days, but now, I consciously start with a glass of lemon water. Then make sure my oat meal porridge is full of blue berries, kiwis, apples, nuts & yogurt. All the is essential in the morning is in this one big bowl of healthy magic. Sunny day

How does the sun affect you? 

I come from a really sunny country. My days there were always full of sun and life. 

After 18 years in my beautiful home country, I moved far away. I was looking for something new, new experiences and bigger opportunities. So I ended up in a different and bigger country, where the sun only shines for a few months of the year. 

I never thought of a life without sunny days. For me, if I had a bad day, I knew that the next day the sun would shine again. 

But here the things are different. I notice and it is very present, how I miss the sun. The winter time is very hard for me. I know I should have a routine, walk outside, be with friends... but I just can't. I need days to prepare myself for that and after one day outside, I just feel so tired. 

Today I am really happy, the sun shines outside and I just feel better. It even made me want to write :)

what do you think? Do you also feel the impact of the sun? What can recommend me to survive the winter time?
