okay so I'm rewatching 92sies and I just wanna talk abt race and medda.

in the raid scene, which is where I'm at now, race is getting soaked by the cops, and medda seems very distraught. she even goes as far as to slap the guy who was hitting race. she then calls out to him and is very upset. so do we think that they had a previous relationship? like maybe he went to see her shows and she became like a mentor to him? (idk how else to explain it) or is she just upset because she is watching a poor, orphaned, defensless, kid get soaked?

Newsiestober Day 9 : Pumpkin Spice

I decided to draw 92sies Medda for Pumpkin Spice because the prompt felt very fitting with her :)

Also those are Meadowlarks on her quilt because my friends Nox and Sparky recommended that for her and it is obviously fitting for our Swedish Meadowlark

The colours might clash but she's just chilling at home she couldn't be bothered to match for the cozy movie marathon she'll be doing

I don’t like the other newsies calling Davey their ‘mother’ he might be a ‘mom friend’ but the newsies familiar relationship is different from the nuclear family dynamic. Davey is just one of them, not their mother. 6. Medda is an aunt to the newsies and Jack, even if she’s the closest thing to a parent he’s ever had she’s still not exactly a parent figure.
