Wanna know what’s crazy to me?? Ghosts is such an interesting formula and it absolutely WORKS. I do not care if it’s the US or UK version (or any future variant) it just WORKS. It’s GENIUS.

You’re combining the history of different countries with the present day. It’s a haunted house sitcom yes BUT you get into this deep dive of how these different eras would interact with each other. How many cultural similarities and differences are in the same room. And you also get the stereotypical ghost powers that are so unique and you get to see what the ghosts DO with those powers??1??

AND THEYRE JUST ALL NORMAL PEOPLE ONCE .

in our world, say, her door is open, but in the neighborhood, it's shut. the paradox is irreconcilable to her. maybe the echoing sound represented a transition from the neighborbood to the human world.

this is a bit of a stretch, but maybe the two strange voices at the end were sally and frank's puppeteers.

hi!!! ur ghost havers being tied to the old radio post has had me in a chokehold ever since i saw it (in a positive sense) so i was wondering if you'd be able to give more info abt it, if you can :)

SO.

While the house finished renovating, Alison and Mike (mainly Alison) took liberties in decorating the hotel that corresponded to each of the ghosts' time period to give them a piece of nostalgia amongst all the new semi-modern items that they were about to be surrounded with.

Alison bought an old radio from the 1940s and had it shipped to Button House. Unbeknownst to her, the old radio housed a ghost. Enter: Havers

Havers obviously didn't die in the front, he was back home in Blighty. A few years after the Captain's death (1951), Havers died while his old radio crooned. When his home was cleared out, he found that he was dragged with the radio; wherever it went, he went with it.

No one knew there was a ghost tied to that radio until it was turned to a specific channel that only played songs from the 1940s and before then.

Havers would only materialize when that specific station was put on, otherwise if it were any other station, he would disappear. He remains alone in a dark void between radio frequencies until someone would turn the station back to his.

He also feels nauseous if you keep switching the stations back and forth since he kept materializing and dematerializing between planes.

His voice has that fuzz of old radio speakers when you talk to him, but sometimes his voice gets clear with strong emotions (lmao yeah i was watching hazbin hotel stfu)

When the Captain found out it was Havers who was the old radio ghost, bro could not let go of him at all and would literally stick with him for a whole week when everyone else was doing clubs.

The other ghosts had enough and held an intervention with the Captain who was being too clingy to the new addition that even when they tried to pull him away he couldn't budge.

They made a decision, every morning, the radio would be turned on, giving the Captain enough time for him to spend time with Havers and do his morning routine. After the specified time of 1300 hours, the radio would switch to a more modern station or turned off. (Julian is pressed that he has to be up early to be a part of the Captain's routine)

If it's the Captain's birthday and death day (VE Day) the radio would be on to Havers' channel all day. If it was Havers' birthday and death day, the same thing would apply.

Alison had no clue about Havers' existence until she actually visited the hotel on the Captain's birthday to which she was then introduced to Havers

This was how she implemented a rule to the staff that the radio should be switched on and to this specific station every morning and turned off at this specific time, and should remain on for these specific days (their birthdays and death days)

Idk if y’all realize but if u noticed that every time I draw Harry with his eyepatch sunglasses he wears a pink tie

Ties in kingsman are a status and I’m not even joking . I have never seen another kingsman agent in those movies wear that specific pink tie. Ever. A kingsman agent almost always wore the blue stripped tie.

Sometimes Harry will not wear the blue stripped tie but we all know it’s Harry Hart. And James as well (though it might be because he’s in a mission, then again, kingsman agents wear their suits with blue stripped ties anyways)

The only time I’ve ever seen that pink tie is ONLY WHEN Arthur is on screen because he wears that pink tie to symbolize that he’s the head of the organization. (You could even see it in The King’s Man where Orlando wears the pink tie and every other agent wears the blue stripped tie)

So. Whenever you see me draw Harry Hart with the pink tie, just know that he took on the mantle of Arthur (cuz he’s a fit candidate for it and the only surviving senior agent) and changed the course of Kingsman history, okay???????
