Thinking about Red Alert in the mines. Jumping at every creak and crack of the stone around him or in the struts keeping the tunnels open. The sound of the drill is so overwhelming for his sensitive hearing that it's hard for him to actually use it.

At first his team was afraid he would be a liability, until the first time he accurately called an evacuation just in time to avoid a collapse. And then he did it again. And again.

They don't mind anymore if he can't drill as fast as the others. The whole team can make up for the deficit, mining with more surety and confidence knowing that Red will have their back if the tunnel becomes unstable.

i don’t really have much to say about the colors here?? all of these fellas are vaugardian (i think) so i just kept their palettes Warm. i did give claude stains on her coat because i think she drops Chemicals on it all the time and doesn’t wash it throughly enough to get the stains out. other than that all of these are pretty straightforward!!

My original setting for Think of Me was after a bunch of clans had already moved into Konoha, and Tobirama was going to have a horde of children following him around as his self-proclaimed students including Uchiha Kagami, which catches Madara’s notice.

The plot has since shifted but I left minor things like Hiruzen’s monkey Shadow in as a random kid’s Shadow playing ninja at night :)

okay, i just finished up watching Our Drawings - Princess Movie | Full Animation Film | Artist (Stylised as OUR DRAWINGS - Princess Movie | Full Animation Film | Artist) and I obviously have a lot of questions because its a truly inscrutable movie, like why half the cast have no motivations for their actions or why the final fight is a 20 minute motion simulator drive as the protag flying chases the villain through 2 backgrounds with a lot of reused footage. But there's one thing I'm caught on.

Why is 40% of this movie backstory and flashbacks???

Hello! I was just wondering in reference to the most recent chapter - what words do they use for “sun god”? Is it the same as what is used when describing “sun god nika”?

good question! it's not exactly the same, although it's close. nika is referred to as 太陽の神/taiyou no kami, 'the god of the sun.'

the 'sun god' we're introduced to in the most recent chapter is referred to with a title that uses the same kanji, but not identically. instead it's called 太陽神/taiyoushin, which is an established term to mean 'sun god/solar deity.' 神/shin is the kanji for 'god,' which can also be pronounced kami or gami. when the sun god is addressed respectfully by the inhabitants of the block world, they use the very respectful sama honorific as well, referring to it as taiyoushin-sama.

the fact that this new sun god's title is all one word both distinguishes it from nika and makes it more closely match the titles of the other 'gods' we're introduced to inside the block world, which are also given as single words- for example, the giant rabbit we're told about is 耳神/mimigami, the 'ear god.'
